Arthur Seyss-Inquart was an Austrian Nazi politician known for his instrumental role in the 1938 Anschluss, facilitating Austria's annexation by Nazi Germany. He later served as Deputy Governor-General of Occupied Poland and then as Reichskommissar of the German-occupied Netherlands, where he was responsible for brutal policies including the deportation of Dutch Jews and forced labor.
