I have a word that I want to get into before I Do that. I do want to tell you about something. So I've got a burden for a lot of things, particularly as it relates to these times that we're living in. First of all, I have a burden for souls. Seriously, I have a burden for souls. I have a burden for people to come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. That is a burden. I have a burden for people to grow in the things of God because I believe that salvation, although it is a perfected work, once we come to faith, I do believe that we have to grow in order to fully actualize the purpose for which we were saved as it relates to what we do on earth. So I have a burden to teach and to build and to give tools. But in this moment, this season that we're in right now, I have a different burden as well. An additional burden, rather. And that burden is to equip you and to prepare you for the world that we're living in now. Are you tracking with me? Because it's. It's different. It's different and things are shifting and this is a way that we have never been before. It's not a way that. That God is ignorant to. It's not that, but it's a way that we have never been before. And it requires things from us that we have not had to give in previous seasons. So that's why I do things like these master classes. Hello, somebody. See, your effort, your energy doesn't change. You got what you got. You got the number of days that are assigned to your life, the number of moments assigned to your life. You got what you got. You're not getting any new moments. You're not getting any more time. But in this season now, as things are getting complicated and scarce, I have to trade better now. Are you hearing me? You know what you carry and you know what you don't so that you can be present with intentionality in that moment. And then not only that, but how does that moment create momentum? Come on, somebody. Because if God blesses you with a moment, but it doesn't turn into momentum, you didn't steward that moment well. So I say all that to say that's what this masterclass is about. This moment that you're standing in right now is pregnant. That's why you have to be present and align and connect it so that you can extract what's in this moment so that it can create the momentum that your life needs.

All right, let's go to work. Matthew, chapter 16, verse 26. We're going to look at two passages of scripture that will be our anchor for this moment. Matthew 16:26. Both of these are not unfamiliar. Then we'll look at three John 1, 2. The Bible says, and most specifically, Jesus says, for what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole

and loses his own soul? And then he goes on to say, or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, I mean the whole world and loses his soul? Or let's take it even further. What can a man give in exchange for a soul? In other words, you got what you got. And then in third John 1 and 2, the writer says, beloved, that's how I feel about y' all right now. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers. Hallelujah. Lord, we thank you so much for this moment that you've blessed us with. We thank you for this opportunity to worship. We thank you for this opportunity to be together, to be in your house, to hear your word, God. May the words in my mouth and the meditation of my heart be accurate and acceptable in your sight. Thank you, Lord. I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and insight and knowledge and prophecy and all that is required to minister to your children, your sons and daughters whom you love so richly and so deep, deeply. Hallelujah. And so God move in this house in a profound way. We love you and we thank you in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. You may be seated. In my theme for today, what I want to walk out today is as your soul prospers. As your soul prospers. Let me transparently say that I do not come to you as a subject matter expert today. I don't come to you proclaiming to have all of the answers about what we're going to talk about today. In fact, to be more honest and more transparent, I. I come to you as a journey mate. A journey mate. We're going to walk this thing out together. But I do believe it's important and I want to you Know one of the interesting things about being a prophet of God and not necessarily even the office of prophet, but standing in moments where God calls you to be his mouthpiece, right? Many of us who have the privilege of serving God in that capacity know this point all too well. Oftentimes, God will make you the message before you are able to give the message. Preachers, am I telling the truth? He'll make you the message first. I'm thinking about, I believe it was Ezekiel, the prophet. And God would make him go and lie down and, you know, and some would have to get undressed and go lie on one side and prophesy and then lie on another. They would literally have to become the Word. And they're not the only one who became the Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And so it is a divine thing. And so I transparently, I had to become this Word. And I want to tell you something that I experienced recently that made me move a little differently. And so I've been since probably November, very, very busy in multiple enterprises, the majority of which are directly Kingdom related. And I found myself lacking something. And it was hard Mother Nix to pinpoint because my prayer life was on point. I'm praying, I'm working through my prayers. I have a very specific prayer, very regimented prayer that I pray every day, and it covers everything that is under my purview. And I'm preaching, I'm doing the work of the Lord. I'm being philanthropic, I'm being benevolent, I'm being generous. I'm loving my wife, I'm loving my kids. I'm doing everything that I know to do. And yet something still feels like is missing. What do you do when you're doing, Enrique? All that you know to do. All that you think to do. What do you do when you believe that you are checking all of the spiritual boxes? Right? Obedience. Right? There's no visible compromise in your spirit or in your life or in your walk. You're praying. Surely you're reading your Word. Surely if you're doing all of these things, then everything spiritually should flow for you. You would think, chico, that was me. I was doing all the right stuff. And yet the best way to put this is I felt like I was withering somehow.

How do you.

[Pastor John]

How do you. How do you. How do you wither when you're praying? How do you wither when you're serving God? When you're showing up, when you're loving the people, when you're preaching, you're teaching. How do you. How is that even possible? That's what they teach us, the fundamentals, right? Read the scripture, pray, serve, walk with God.

You're doing all the right stuff, doing all the right stuff, and yet something

just feels like I'm. Like something's wrong. And I sought the Lord. And see, that's another thing.

Sometimes you got to stop faking.

[Pastor John]

Come on, we going somewhere today? I promise I'm going to drive down your street.

Sometimes we got to stop faking.

Inwardly, something was missing on Jackie, and I'm perplexed about it. Then there was a whisper. There was a whisper

that did not

[Pastor John]

come from an overly familiar place. It wasn't a random place, but it wasn't a place that I access. Watch this as often as I should. It wasn't from a strange place. It was from a deep place. And it said, worship me. Now, what I realized quickly was the

place

to which the voice spoke. It did not speak to my intellect. It did not speak to my heart. It did not speak to my spirit. It spoke to a place much deeper

[Congregation/Chorus]

than all of that.

[Pastor John]

It spoke to my soul. I said, uh oh, uh oh, the soul, the soul, the soul, the soul. What the soul is is one of those conversations that I like to call that are. It's a lightly dimmed conversation. You know, the Bible talks about how we see through a glass dimly. We see through a glass dimly. And the soul, although in our desire to be studious, it is a place that we try to describe and we try to articulate. Oh yes, we do the best of us and there are insights in scripture as it relates to what the soul is. But I'll tell you right now, the soul itself is something that we are understanding dimly. So much so that Hebrews chapter 4 and verse 12. You tracking with me? I'm going to teach today. Lean in. I'm going to teach today and we're going to be better, I promise you. Hebrews chapter 4 and 12. When it's describing how amazing and how dynamic the Word of God is,

it's

talking about how the living word, the Word of God, is quick. It's alive, it's sharp, it's powerful, it's dynamic. And one of the examples that the text uses to make that point is how the word, Michael, has the ability to divide or make a distinction between soul and spirit. The average person, under the sound of my voice, could not perfectly articulate the difference between the two in a way that is forever relevant and applicable to all circumstances and situations. The Lord, through his word, is saying, baby, that's a fine incision. And it must be an important distinction if it is even mentioned in the text. Are you tracking with me? Says the word, you better track. Because where we're going, we need distinction between soul and spirit.

And then it describes. It is so fine.

He talks spiritual and then he switches to biological.

[Congregation/Chorus]

He says it's like the distinction between marrow and joints.

[Pastor John]

The joint is the connector, the bones. The joint is not the bones. It is the connector of the bones, and it has relationship with the marrow.

Even though the marrow is something that

[Pastor John]

cannot be seen, because the marrow is inside the bone, it's hidden. And yet the joint can function, operate and create movement because of the resources

[Congregation/Chorus]

that are in the marrow, in the hidden thing inside the bone, the blood and the life and everything that the joints and the body need to do. What it's got to do is in a place that we can't see.

[Pastor John]

And this is the line of demarcation that the writer is drawing between soul and spirit. We tend to things oftentimes that are the most understood or accessible to us.

So the mind, we're going to get

[Pastor John]

our mind together because we recognize the presence of our mind because of the thoughts that we think. You tracking with me? So I'm going to work on my mind because there's evidence that I have a mind.

Because sometimes I think things that are

out of my mind. Are you hearing me? So I know to work on my mind. I get that.

I know to work on my body.

[Pastor John]

Come on.

Because if I don't work on my

[Pastor John]

body, stuff starts acting funny or showing up funny. Presenting funny, right? Come on. No sugar, people.

It's been rough, but you feel good because, you know, some of that visceral fat is gone.

[Pastor John]

Now you're wearing stuff that you couldn't wear two months ago. Anyway. So my body, Brenda, gets attention because it's accessible. I recognize it. That's my mind, my body, even my spirit gets attention because I recognize that

there's more to me than what is visible.

[Pastor John]

I know that there's something in me. So even my spirit gets intention. It gets fed, it gets nourished.

Regardless of of your religious

[Pastor John]

pursuits, whether you Christian or Muslim or Jewish or agnostic, even the atheist. Watch this. By virtue of spending time trying to

[Congregation/Chorus]

prove that the spirit isn't right, Why would you talk about something and try to convince somebody else about something if somewhere deep down you knew there was something?

[Pastor John]

All of these things, mind, body, spirit,

[Congregation/Chorus]

all of these things get attention.

[Pastor John]

But oftentimes there's one that does not get attention and that is the soul. We are often self aware, but we often are not soul aware. Mmm. I'm trying to stay with where I'm going, but I feel the Holy Ghost. And I promised the Holy Ghost that I, I will let him have his way because he's into you. He's really into you and he wants to do something in you. I almost called this message. When the soul cries, There's some people in here right now and your soul is crying. Oh, God.

Your soul is crying.

You're trying to figure it out and

we're going to talk about how to

get to your soul, what it needs. But your soul is crying and you've been feeling something is off, but you can't necessarily access it, Right? But it's your soul because you got one, you can't get rid of it. The Bible says, what can a man give in exchange? You can't exchange it for nothing.

You got it, baby. It's with you.

It's like having a chance.

You can try to neglect it if you want to, but it's yours. The DNA says it's

[Pastor John]

says it's yours. And you can't work your way out of your soul. You can't multi millionaire sent a millionaire

billionaire your way out of the reality of the fact that you've got a soul that has to be tended to, that has to be dealt with. And your soul.

[Pastor John]

Watch this cannot be ministered to by any old thing. I'm going to take my time and preach this thing. We all have a soul and here's what I know. Our souls. It is impressionable. Oh, God, the Bible, not the Bible. There's a good book called the Body Keeps Score and somebody needs to write a book called the Soul Keeps Score. Mm. That was for free after this message. Might be one message. I have no idea where God's going to land. The soul keeps score. The soul is extremely impressionable and it is shaped by the things that we experience in life. Oh, God, I feel the Holy Ghost. I'm thinking about, you know, when I was 16 years old, I got in South Los Angeles. I got shot at 16 and my body healed within months. But my soul took decades to heal as a result of that one thing. Lean in. Lean in. So the soul is extremely impressionable. Everybody in here right now is showing up how you are showing up because of the impressions on your soul. Your soul is delicate and sensitive. Oh, God, I feel it right there. It's delicate. I know you think you're tough, and you are tough. I'm a little tough too. But the reality of it is your soul. It is resilient, but it is delicate. This is one of the reasons, I believe, why Jesus would not let anybody do nothing real crazy in his presence to children. Track with me. Children souls precious. And we all know that children are impressionable. But did we know that they're impressionable because their souls are impressionable? And when the disciples are, or anybody was cutting up as it relates to

children, Jesus said, you better not do that. Let him alone.

And then watch this. And he would get passionate about it.

He said, it will be better, you

know the Bible, that a millstone will

be tied around your neck and you throw and you offend one of these little ones. He was aware

of the preciousness and the delicate nature of the soul.

And he also says, except you are converted and become like one of these

children, you're gonna have a little challenge. In kingdom things are we tracking. So the soul, the soul is impressionable. It takes shape and it takes the form of our experiences, and we didn't even know it. I look at people differently. A lot of times you look at what a person did, but you don't consider what happened to their soul that made them do what they did. When you watch this, when you have a soul consciousness, a soul perspective, it makes you a lot more compassionate to others.

And you will watch your own mouth

[Pastor John]

when it comes to others. Because one of the ways that the soul gets damaged is by reckless words. There's some people under the sound of my voice right now, and there has been unaddressed damage to your soul. And you have learned to live with it. That's okay. That's okay, baby. You've learned to live with it. And the only reason why God is bringing this message to you is because you cannot go what God is calling you to go until there is a restoration of your soul. And here is the beautiful thing.

God specializes.

He specializes in restoring souls. And we're going to do some work today, but I want to keep talking just a little bit. So when it says, for what does it profit a man

if he gains

the whole world and loses his soul? When you look up that word that was translated loses, it's not lose like you can lose your soul, like, lose it. Because it just says, what can a man give in exchange for his soul? That word, if you look up that word, that word literally means injure an injured soul. What will it profit a man if you gain everything? And listen, there is not A problem. Hear me clearly with winning in everything. We saw that in the third John passage. He says, beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper in all things and be in health. So the issue is not Jesus saying, do not realize everything that is assigned to you. He's saying that if you do that, but you do not tend to your

soul,

or if you do that, watch this. To the injury of your soul, you're in trouble. So the mission, the mission inwardly is to have our soul restored. David said in Psalm 23, one of the things that he attributes to the Lord, beyond, he leads me beside the still waters beyond, he anoints my head with oil beyond him, causing my cup to overflow. Beyond goodness and mercy, follow me all the days of my life. He says something about the Lord that only the Lord himself can do. And he says, Dr. Jill, he says, he restores my soul. You look up that word in Hebrew. It literally means to turn back. So I am on a mission to

to its original intention and form. Are we tracking? Can I teach today? The Bible says about Jesus, it says, for this purpose, the Son of God was manifest. It says that he might destroy the

works of the devil.

Works, plural.

And when I look at that, I

envision, yes, victory over sin and all of the ramifications and the effects of sin.

But what are the ramifications and the

effects of sin beyond death, which is obvious.

It's what it has done to our soul.

[Pastor John]

And I can't escape the reality of

[Congregation/Chorus]

the damage that has taken place in my soul throughout my life. Because the soul is delicate. Because watch this.

It was fashioned in the context of safety.

We go back to the garden. We go back to the very beginning.

The soul was fashioned in the context

[Congregation/Chorus]

of uninterrupted relationship, covering and protection with

the Creator, which means that it could be vulnerable, it could be delicate,

it

could be all those things because the environment was safe.

[Congregation/Chorus]

And so we take this delicate soul

now and we live life with it.

And if we don't address what has damaged it along the way, we will

produce in a deformed way. Oh, let me take my time. The soul. One way to look at the soul. You know how Psalm 1 says, and you shall be like a tree

by the rivers of water. And it's so interesting because there's so

[Congregation/Chorus]

many places in the Bible where God

[Pastor John]

draws a parallel between us as people and trees. Track with me for a minute, he says, and you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water

[Congregation/Chorus]

that will bring Forth its fruit in its season whose leaf will not wither. And whatever you do shall prosper.

[Pastor John]

There's a connection between first, between first

[Congregation/Chorus]

Psalm, Psalm 1 and 3, and third John, because we're both talking about something being aligned in such a way that you begin to prosper in everything that you do. Track with me. There is a thread. So the reason why I correlate the soul to a tree to give you imagery is because the soul track with me. The soul is like the roots. See, this is all happening underground. What makes a tree a tree? What makes a tree healthy? What makes a tree fruitful is not what you see above ground. It is what you see underground. Oh, I just need about an hour with you. Love on them.

Just love on them.

Don't make a big deal. Just love on them. Because somebody's soul, hey. Is getting renewed. Yes, Shovel. Somebody's soul is getting ready to get restored in this place. The Holy Ghost told me that he's about to do something in your life from the inside out. Huh? I wish all my Holy Ghost tongue talking, spirit filled, prophesying people of God. What Begin to open your mouth and release your Shondo in this atmosphere. Huh? Hey, hey, hey. Deep is calling the deep. Hey, hey, hey. Minister. Minister, Minister. No, no, no. Right here at the altar. Right here at the altar. Right in this environment. Don't let her leave. Right in this environment. Let it happen. This is a kingdom thing. Why are you taking them to. Don't you take them out? As your soul prospers, the Holy Ghost said, I'mma do something in you. In a place that is neglected too often and you're wondering why the fruit withering up. You're wondering why the leaves ain't green no more. It's because it is time for you to prioritize your soul. Worship. Worship. Worship. Worship. Worship. Worship. Worship. That's all right. I wish somebody would lay hands. Lift your hands. Lift your hands. Lift your hands in the name of Jesus. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Freedom. Deliverance. Freedom. This ain't no game. Souls. I don't see people. I see souls. I don't see a distraction. I see a hungry soul. Soul. Soul. Soul. Soul. That's why we're here. I'll tell you something. Got more ground to cover. The Lord. The Lord about 15 years ago appeared to me. I wasn't looking for it. I wasn't asking for it. And it was an incredible experience.

And there are many things that happen in that experience.

But one of the things my brothers and sisters I could not shake was the look in the Lord's eyes, it was serious, it was focused, it was compassionate, it was locked in on something. And I said, lord, what is that I see in your face? What are you looking at? What is it that's giving you this profound seriousness? He said, you know what it is? Souls. Souls. I meant to souls. You see people, you see a problem. I see a soul. Hey. That's why he's here. To seek and to save that which was lost. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on, come on, come on. Hallelujah. The kingdom is here. The kingdom is here. The kingdom is here. The kingdom, the kingdom, the kingdom, the kingdom, the kingdom. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Uh huh. Here is the thing. Here is the thing. The truth of the matter is, to one level or degree or another, that

Because our souls cry and oftentimes we don't recognize it or we don't know what to do with it. We, we live in a world where

we're trying to get better at the fruit level.

If I can just figure out how to get my fruit, I'll be all right. And so we learn about systems

we learn about processes and we read books.

And if I, if I can just

get this system together, it's all fruit based. And it's never root based.

Well, if I get this strategy, then my life will change.

No, no, no, no. You need soul.

[Pastor John]

Sense. And we just getting started in the revelation.

Look at what's emerging. And I'm not even a third of

the way through my notes.

Your soul is crying and you've learned how to limp around with the wounded

soul, not realizing that the fruit is rotten.

that I'm going to do something in you.

Here is the thing,

the dysfunction, the disease of the soul, the fruit of which doesn't always show up automatically. It's interesting in that Psalm 1 and 3, look at what it says. It says, it says, and you shall be like a tree

planted by the rivers of water

[Pastor John]

that brings forth its fruit in its season perpetual. Watch this. Whose leaves will not wither. And whatever he does, surprise. So the leaf withering. There can be fruit on a tree and the leaves be withering because the fruit represents what you were connected to.

Are you hearing me?

[Pastor John]

So right now I can go to

[Congregation/Chorus]

your house, go to Your orange tree

[Pastor John]

cut off a branch, and whatever fruit

[Congregation/Chorus]

that was on that branch, it's going to be there when I cut it off.

[Pastor John]

And the next day, it's probably going

[Congregation/Chorus]

to be there maybe all throughout the week. That fruit is going to be there, and there will be an illusion

[Pastor John]

that it's still healthy, that that resource is still flowing. That's the danger of not being soul awareness. You can be disconnected from the river

[Congregation/Chorus]

and not even know it because everybody's still calling your name because you're showing up.

[Pastor John]

And you still the life of the party, not realizing that the moment that the soul is not connected, the moment that the roots of the tree is

no longer connected to the river, it

is just a matter of time before everything dries up. There's some who are getting this word because you haven't been connected in a long time, but that reality is camouflaged by what you're calling fruit.

He said, that will bring forth its

fruit in its season.

We're talking about a continuous flow.

I think that's why Jesus said, you know what? Part of my strategy in ensuring that you stay healthy and fruitful is to prune you every now and again. There's some people and you probably in

a pruning season right now, and it was the best thing God could have ever done to you. Because how am I going to know that I'm not tapped in if there's fruit everywhere all the time, lying to

and the people around you don't know the difference between old fruit and new fruit. It looks the same. It isn't until you bite into it.

His desire is not equal.

He's not saying that I want that for you as equally as what I'm about to say. It's not as like equal. It's as like according to Track it. Beloved, I pray, I pray. This is my intercession for you. I pray that you would prosper in

all things and be in health.

to the prosperity of your soul.

So he's saying, if your soul prospers as a priority, there's a connection between the prosperity of your soul and the prosperity of your life. Jesus chimed in on it when he said, seek first

the kingdom, but watch this.

And his righteousness, alignment, wholeness, Seek that.

[Pastor John]

And all the things will be added. When your soul isn't satiated,

you will

be hungry and you will over index on everything else, trying to satisfy what can only be satisfied by one source. You'll over index on money. That's why when the money gets funny, depression hits. You're over index on relationships. So when relationships get funny, you start withering. You over index on business deals because now I'm addicted to winning in business. And when I win here, I want to go to another level and win there. And oftentimes the billionaire oftentimes is the most starved. Because I'm driven. I'm driven by, ultimately by. Honestly, by the hunger of my soul, but because it's not accessible, I pursue what is accessible or what is comfortable to me. You can be a preacher and have a sick soul and you will preach your head off because your soul is sick. And now it makes you dangerous because you need the response from the people, and you are just as addicted to them as they are to you.

You can be a doctor

[Pastor John]

and prescribe solutions that heal people, making them well while you are withering. No one escapes. What can a man give in exchange for a soul? No one can escape the thirst of the soul. And the soul must be tended to. There are some problems. We're going to minister in a minute, pray and worship in a minute. There are some problems. Watch this. That are daunting problems that consume all of your focus and. And all of your time, Whereby if you fed your soul, they would disappear. Because when our soul is not satiated, it's not satisfied. We get hungry and we grab for whatever is accessible. It's a soul problem. So then the question becomes, if the writer is saying. The writer is saying, I pray that your soul prospers. The question is, how does the soul prosperity? In short, I could do a whole series on this. But in short, here is the truth. Only God can prosper the soul. Ha ha.

Oh, boy.

[Pastor John]

Only God can prosper the soul. There was a song we used to sing. Sing Jesus Lover of My Soul. Y' all remember that song, Jesus Lover of My Soul. It happens through worship. Worship is soul love. See, your soul was fashioned in the environment and in the context of agape. Oh, don't play with me. Of unconditional and pure love. That's the environment that your soul was fashioned in. And therefore, if the soul experiences anything less than that, it starts short circuiting. Your soul was meant to be loved. And when the soul was loved, Watch this. It becomes the anchor of your life. This hope has become an anchor of the soul. So my soul is going to be anchored one way or another. Anchored in drama, anchored in addiction. Or it can be anchored in and by the Lord, the one who fashioned it. And it happens through worship. Now, you noticed I mentioned the things that I was doing when I started. I said I was praying. I was reading my word.

Whoa.

[Pastor John]

I was serving and ministering. I was working and working hard. I was being benevolent and generous and being a blessing to people. But one thing that I didn't mention was that I was worshiping. I mean, really worshiping. Worshiping. And I've got all kind of teaching on this. But worshiping in the context of what worship really is. Singing is not worship. It can be a part of how you worship. But singing is not worship. Praising is not worship. It can be a part of how you worship, but that is not worship. Reading the scripture is not worship. It can be A part of how you worship, but it is not worship. Prayer in and of itself is not worship. It can be a part of worship. In fact, one of the the translations in the Bible talks about prayer and supplications and all these other things. There is one of those words that actually means grateful language or. But prayer in and of itself is not worship. Worship is less about what you do and more about how you show up.

Vulnerable, open, honest, humble, hungry,

[Pastor John]

convinced. Jesus, lover of my soul. I'm yours. Abba.

[Congregation/Chorus]

Abba.

[Pastor John]

Abba. Father. Daddy, you know, the purest worship may not necessarily you going in there talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Elohim, El Shaddai, Jehovah. That's wonderful. However, I'm not knocking that, but sometimes the best worship is Daddy. Abba. Father, lover of my soul. Jesus called him Father more than he called him anything. My father, my father, My father, my father. David, the writer who told us that the Lord restores my soul, called God his God. My God. The Lord is my light and my salvation. The Lord is my shepherd. Jesus called him Father. And one interesting time in scripture, he even called him Father the whole time. And then when he was in this moment on the cross where things were not going or he was experiencing what he knew he had to experience but what he had never experienced. It's one thing to know where you got to go. It's another thing to experience what happens when you get there. And in that moment, he shifts momentarily from calling him Father to calling him God. Now, that might seem like a small thing. It was not a small thing. There was some distance. Father. Father. Father. Father. Father.

Father.

[Pastor John]

My God, My God, why have you forsaken me? Distance. But before he left, he got back in position. Father. Into. Look at this. Surrender. That's part of it too. Into your hands. Watch this. I commit my spirit. That's worship. Here I am, all of me. I hide nothing from you. Remember, God? Remember when you made me a living soul? I was naked and unashamed. I wasn't trying to hide nothing from you. He restores my soul. He is returning my soul to its original context. Agape and love is. Heals the soul. It heals the soul unlike anything else. It reforms, reshapes it. So here's what I want us to do, and I want all of us to participate. What God told me he was going to do today is he was going to do a work in your soul. And as he does this healing work in your soul. And I feel you, man. I can like I don't know, Bishop. The Lord's been dealing with me about this word, man. I look at people and I can see what they've been through. I can see it in your posture. I could see it in you envisage. I can see it. And if I can see it, Jesus can see it. And you're more than what you've been through. You're more than what you've been through. You're more. And that's why he came. Literally. Jesus said, for this purpose. He said, for this purpose, the Son of God was manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil. Yes. He threw something at you. Yes. He hit you. And it was hard. And it was devastating. It was destructive.

Oh, my God.

[Pastor John]

And that's why Jesus had to go through devastation. Anaya, destruction. They say his body, that he wasn't even recognizable. Right. Because he had to become what hit you. He had to let what hit you

hit him so that he would be

anointed and qualified to restore you. But he's a restorer. You will not stay there.

From the inside out.

[Pastor John]

From the inside out. From the inside out. From the inside out. He ain't gonna let you stay there. For this purpose. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil. Oftentimes we want to run on. And I get it. God's got stuff for us to do. But sometimes we can't run because we're limping about what happened in our soul that we think is just our portion. Just my cross to bear. No, it's not. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. Not your cross to bear. Taking up his cross and following him is about laying down your life. Not staying broken, not staying in pain and in bondage.

No, it's a lie.

It's about humbling yourself. Being willing to die to self for gain. Not staying stuck. So I want to pray for some people. I can tell you right now, I started this conversation by saying God wants to do something. My only job was to facilitate it through a conversation and the scripture and revelation. If you feel God tugging you and you just want to take a few moments, let the lover of your soul love on you. I want you to meet me here at the altar. Just come forward. We're going to let him do what he does. I want you to meet me here. Come on, everyone standing. We're almost done. If you're here and you don't know the Lord, You're here and you don't know the Lord. He knows you. Make no mistake about it. He knows you. I want you to come and get close because he gonna touch you. The Lord's gonna do a real thing. A real thing. He's gonna unclog some things. He's gonna heal some things. Some of you you haven't even seen. Seen you yet. You haven't even seen you yet. You're going to move differently when your soul is loved. And when you come into the awareness that your soul is love, you show up completely different. You show up completely different.

Draw near to me, says the Lord. I might draw near to you, Jesus, lover of my soul. It's time for some soul love. I love my wife like crazy. She's my best friend, And I'm her best friend. She loves me like crazy. But I can't love her soul. I don't have access to that. Nor can she love mine. She doesn't have access to that. There's only one. There's only one who has access to the deepest part of you. And the good news is, he loves you. He doesn't just have love for you. He is love for you. And it doesn't shift. It doesn't change. Here's one big lie you hear people say, man, I disappointed God. That is fundamentally impossible. Because the only way to be disappointed is for there to be some sort of ignorant expectation. In order for God to be disappointed, meant would mean that he would have to be ignorant. You understand what I'm saying? I disappointed God. You're only disappointed because you expected something and got something different. Well, if God sees the end in the beginning. So that's the enemy. Watch this. This is the enemy getting you to question how God feels about you. It is categorically impossible for the Lord to be disappointed in you because disappointment requires ignorance. Lover of my soul. When you let him love your soul, look. Look how he started. He says, beloved. It was almost a command. Beloved, Beloved. Strategy in that one verse. As your soul prospers, the basis was the prosperity of your soul. And in the context of that, he starts off by saying, be loved. Be loved. If you will allow yourself to be loved, your soul will prosper because it thrives and grows off of love. You know what love is like? The love of God is like what called you a tree, called you a plant. None of that can grow without the sun rays. Sun rays. So the love of God is like the water coming through the root and the sun shining on the plant. And what happens when that takes place? Flourishing. Not just flourishing, but a blossoming. Think about what a blossoming is. A blossom is the presentation of the true essence of the plant. It was closed until it got what it needed. And then when it got what it needed, it was able to express the fullness of itself because it got water and it got the sun. That's what I mean when I say that there's some of you and you haven't even seen you yet. Your family hasn't even seen you yet. Your church hasn't even seen you yet. Your children haven't even seen your spouse hasn't even seen seen you yet. But that's going to change. Holy Ghost told me that he was going to love your soul. And as he loves your soul, you gonna blossom and offer to the world the beauty that you possess. Father, I thank you for the privilege of becoming your message first, that I might be able to carry it. I thank you God, for those who are under the sound of this anointing. I thank you for the healing that's taking place from the inside out all over this room. I thank you God, that there are some who only knew you as God, only knew you as Jehovah, only knew you as Yahweh, only knew you as Elohim. But this day they will Know you as Abba, the lover of their soul. And God, your word declares that perfect love cast out fear because fear has torment. Either we're moving in love or we're moving in fear. And as your love comes in, it casts out, it rebukes. For this purpose the son of God was manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil. And evidence of the works of the devil is fear. You said in your word in Romans 8 that we have not been in bondage again to fear, but we have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry out, abba, Father God, a divine exchange according to your word. Right now, let love invade. And may everything that the enemy planted, every false shaping and false impression of the soul, in the name of Jesus, the one, one who restores the soul,

You know all things. So Lord, I welcome you. God, I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for making him who had no sin, all of mine, all of my mistakes, all of what I did and all of that which was done to me. You put that on his body, nailed it to the cross, and once and for all you put it to death. For this purpose you will manifest that you might destroy the works of the enemy. And so I thank you that as I receive Christ, the one who was raised up, I'm raised up too. I have a seat in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.

Destroy every yoke. I thank you that it's done already. And I declare I am loved. I declare I am healed. I declare I'm whole.
