Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Welcome to the Potter's House Podcast. You are home away from home. Stay a while as the Word of God restores your hope and transforms your life.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Jeremiah 29:11 I'm going to read this out of the new international version
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
and
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I'm going to tell you the Word that God spoke to me days ago, and those very words would be challenged on yesterday. Jeremiah 29:11 God says for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. That's our verse for today.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
For I know
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
the plans that I have for you, God says, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future, and a future and a future. In other words, don't be stuck in the moment that you're in. Don't put a period where I place the comma, the thought, the prophetic declaration that God gave to me for you for this Sunday, several days ago is something good is about to happen. Something good is about to happen. Father, I'm here. I am weak in myself, but strong in you. So Father, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and insight and knowledge and prophecy, and full use of heaven's resources to communicate this word to the effect that you preordained it, predestined it. I know, God, that the attack came because of this word, which means that there's something powerful in it. So, Father, I pray and I thank you that you go ahead of me and make my crooked path straight. And I pray God this word would do what it does, that it would not return until you void, but that it will accomplish that for which you sent it. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's go to work. So I got to be straight up with you, God, dropping a word in my spirit about something good is about to happen. In the backdrop of news cycles that scream economic uncertainty, uncertainty surrounding wars, and a lot of the crazy things that are taking place in our world. Workforce disruption, AI fears and how AI is reshaping things, I think in amazing ways, but also in ways that affect the livelihoods of some people. In the backdrop of mental fatigue. Let's keep it 100 decision fatigue. People are stressed out, either making bad decisions because of that stress or not making any decisions at all. Stagnant. We see environmental strain, we see societal strain and conflict and division. And just one glance at the news and there's nothing to suggest that something good is about to happen. In fact, with all of the uncertainty and all of the less positive things that we're thinking, not only is it top of mind to believe that something is good gonna happen, not only is it not that, but one might lean more toward what bad thing is gonna happen next. Are you tracking with me? And so I'll be honest with you, when the Lord put that very, I'll call it counterculture word in my spirit, I wanted to check it a little bit because, you know, God, I'm looking at all these things and I'm seeing all these things that are taking place, and everything is just wild. And yet you want me to stand in the middle of a congregation of several thousand people and tens of thousands of people watching online and declare in the backdrop of this chaos and. And uncertainty that something good is about to happen. That that's you, you. That's what you're requiring of me. I will sound like a madman, like, like, like a lunatic. You know, this is what we're doing, you know, And God said, yes, and I said, okay, we'll do it. And so as I'm putting my notes, the final details of my notes on a message Called something good is about to happen. On the eve of the day of the message, Something good is about to happen. Something very bad, Seemingly something radically disruptive to the universe of my entire family happens. And I'm like, God, this word doesn't even. This word doesn't even fit anymore. Something good is about to happen. And I'm already exhausted from tour. And I'm thinking that I'm gonna give me a good. Just at least give me a good night's sleep. Sleeping in my own bed tonight. Just saw my daughter off to prom. Hey, pictures and photos and getting ready to put on my do rag and
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
my sleep mask and my PJs and
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
get into bed early. And that's disrupted. And now this news comes, this situation comes that completely disrupts everything and threatens the life of the most important person in the world to me. And yet you, God, who doesn't lie and declares the end from the beginning, the voice of the Lord that I've learned to trust all these years,
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
have the audacity.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
To say, that's my message. And yesterday last night, I certainly said,
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
did I hear you correctly? You're saying something is good.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
You know, and then of course, I had that, obviously I had that epiphany because it's so funny. Like, you know, many of you know this. When I was 16 years old, I got shot in a drive by shooting and almost lost my life. And that was December 28th. The date was December 28th. And so from that moment up until about two years ago, every December 28th, I used to come around, I used to get nervous, I used to get anxiety. And oftentimes if I would look up on the calendar, Jan, and it was December 28th, I would stay in the house because in my mind, that was the day that something bad happened to me. Until God showed me. You're looking at that wrong. That's not the day that something bad happened to you. That's the day I delivered you feel the Holy Ghost. And what I am learning is that in order to walk this thing out with God, we have to reframe our experiences.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Because I can see yesterday now, what was that?
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
The 18th, April 18th, as the day that Sarah had the accident, the very bad accident that disrupted our family.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Or I can see it as the
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
day that God came through and didn't allow the weapon that was formed against her.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
That was the day of her salvation. That was the day. Are you tracking with me? So what I'm learning is we have
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
to reframe things because the enemy's Job, watch this.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Watch this.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Is to ill frame things. Oh, feel the Holy Ghost. I want to talk about this passage really quickly. And it's not an unfamiliar passage of Scripture. Jeremiah 29:11. You've heard every preacher on the planet preach it. Because it's fun to preach.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
It's fun to preach.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
For I know the plans I have for you. They're good or not evil. Preaching plan to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. That is a wonderful passage.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
And most of us only see the passage.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
We only see the promise of the passage, but we don't look at the context in which the passage was given. The passage that we love so much
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
was not given in the backdrop of happiness. You got to study it out. And all you got to do is go a few verses up before that and you'll get it. They are literally in Babylonian captivity. They've been exiled from their homes. They are under the control of another nation, another government that cares nothing about them or their God. So this word about for I know the plans that I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you literally comes at a very difficult time. Watch this. The word comes in the midst of a crisis.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Are we tracking together?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
This word comes and watch this. And it's not an ordinary crisis. This Crisis will last 70 years. And the Lord drops into their spirit through the prophet Jeremiah, a promise. And he says things. He says things. He uses words intentionally in that promise that if we look deeper into it,
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
it will encourage us unlike ever before.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Here's what he says to them. God himself says. He says, I know the plans that
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I have for you.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
I'm not hoping. I'm not guessing. And it's not. Teray knows. It's not. Bishop knows. God is saying, I know it's not. The prophet Jeremiah. God saying, he says, I know the plans I have for you. They are good and not evil plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future hope. Now, that would be encouraging enough. However, it is the word that he uses when he says, I know. When he says, I know the plans, he's using the Hebrew word yada. And that Hebrew word yada is the same word that is used when it speaks of Adam having an intimate experience
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
with his wife Eve. Trying to keep it pg. Okay? Because the scripture says and. And Adam yad his wife Eve, and she conceived.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So it's. It's not just. No, it is experience. So let me reframe that for you. So God is saying, for I am experiencing
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
the plans that I have for you. Let me unpack this.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
You have to understand that when God speaks something, it's not something that is
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
coming, it's something that is done that is playing itself out in your life cycle.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So God really doesn't have to do anything else. We just walk into what God has done. The scripture said he set it all up. He set it in motion. And then he sits down. And there's nothing in the scripture that
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
says he got back up again.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Track it. He creates the universes, he creates everything. And then he puts a system in place to keep it flowing in perpetuity, right?
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
The sea within itself.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
And then he sits down. He's finished. He finished everything. He sits down, it's done, and the system is in place to keep it flowing. He doesn't have to do anything else. That's why it says about Jesus, he was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. Before there was a problem, the solution was already set in motion. So when he says, I am.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I know the plans.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
I am experiencing the plans I have for you, it's because he actually is experiencing, because it is done. It is so He, God is experiencing
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
the promise that he made to you.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Are you tracking with me? So not just that, I know, but God is saying, I'm already enjoying. I'm already experiencing what I promised you. And it's good and it's not evil. And I've set it in motion and it is in your future and it belongs to you and it's yours.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
This is why Brenda, in First Peter, I believe it's one and nine.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The Bible talks about receiving the end of your faith. Can I teach just a little bit? Receiving the end of your faith. So in other words, learning how to receive and to experience your expectation. We used to sing in the old church, don't wait till the battle is over to shout. Now we know in the end you're going to win. So if you know in the end you're going to win, that really means that you won already. So you might as well get excited and you might as well do your victory dance now, because God has already done it. Track with me. So the God that we serve is experiencing in real time your healing.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I gotta say this right, he's experiencing
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
it because he's got.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
How can he not experience it?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
It's so he said it in motion. It's God. And he declares the end from the beginning. So he's experiencing what he promised. And that's why he's saying, have faith, be not weary. My wife preached it last week, Be not weary in your well doing, for in due season you're going to reap. That means it's already on the calendar. All you got to do is keep going. So here is our issue. Our issue is there is a delta.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
There's a gap between God's knowing and our knowing. Ah, there's a delta. God is experiencing what he promised us. He's not like, worried about it and saying, hey, is it going to happen? And it seems a little late.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
No, he's experiencing it in real time. He already sees it. And that's why sometimes you wonder, God, why would you allow me to go through what I'm going through?
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
And God is saying, because you're going through it. And I'm not so much concerned about the through because I ordained you to get through it. I'm experiencing the end. I'm gonna make it plain. I'm experiencing what I promised you. I wouldn't have promised you it unless I was already experiencing it. So I communicate from what I'm experiencing,
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
not for what I'm hoping for, not for what I'm. I'm God. I don't have to wish. Watch this.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
God doesn't have to pray for it. It's done.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So what we got to work on
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
now is that gap, is that gap. Let me help you to understand how the gap got there. And then if I help you to understand how the gap got there, I'll give you tips and tools to close the gap. And then I'm going to see my wife. Okay? Okay.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
We were designed in the context of knowing.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Track with me. We were.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Science teaches us that when the brain
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
does not have the ability to predict, it goes into a fight, flight, or freeze mode. A cursory review of psychology will tell you that it shifts into the part of your brain, the amygdala. That is your response. It's the fight, flight, or freeze.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Be afraid.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Fight or do nothing. Which is not the part of you that moves things forward. The part of your brain that moves things forward. The prefrontal cortex is where your executive functioning takes place, where your decisions are made.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Creativity, Everything that will move you forward
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
in life happens when you're flowing in that side of your brain. Okay.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Isn't it interesting that for some reason.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Watch this.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
When we cannot predict, we start malfunctioning? Track with me in our design. God designed us. Somehow, some way.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Here's what.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Let me just make it plain. When we don't know, something goes wrong. So watch this. It is not, in our design healthy
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
for us to not know. You gonna get this?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Take a step back. When we cannot predict, we struggle by design. Doesn't mean there's something wrong with us by design. Somehow in our makeup, this not knowing puts us in fight, flight, freeze. Which has to make us suspicious. And at least it begs the question, were we created to know? Because that would make sense if we were created to know, and for some reason, we no longer could know. And that creates this dysfunction. That would make sense because not doing what I was designed to do.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
And now I'm struggling. Now let's go back to Genesis.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So in the garden, Adam and Eve had communion with God. God, the omniscient one, was speaking to them, and they were perceiving and hearing and receiving. And so there is this flowing together. There was no need to question. There are no questions when you have knowledge. Questions are where there is ignorance. If you have all the knowledge, there's no need for a question because all the questions are answered in the knowledge.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
There's no need for questions.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So Adam and Eve were flowing in their knowing. And as a result, they were able to experience the abundance of what God had. That's why when he says, be fruitful and multiply, he wasn't telling them to do something that was outside of their reach. You have everything that you need at your disposal. All you've got to do is know and you'll flow. Are we tracking? So the enemy comes along.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
You know the story.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The enemy comes along, and we think that his chief mission was to get them to eat the fruit. You missed it. What does the enemy do when he approaches them? The first thing he does is, did God really say he attacks their knowing?
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Come on, don't play with me this morning.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
I'm going to say a few things,
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
and I'm going to go see my wife.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The first thing that the enemy attacks is their knowing. And he does it subtly. Did God really say.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Whoa. Did God really say the four most dangerous words in the human experience?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Did God really say. Because they introduced now something that was foreign to the environment.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
That is questioning.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So here's what we see happening. We see them going from knowing to wondering. That is a powerful break. Whoa. The distance between knowing wondering is massive. It's the difference between sickness and health. It's the difference between success and failure. It's the difference between purpose and randomness. It's the difference between being in the will of God and being outside in the will of God. Knowing to wondering. That is A dangerous delta. And if I might add, we go from knowing to wondering to wandering. Track it in the text. So the enemy attacks them. Watch this. They're flowing in their knowing with God. Fruitful and multiplying. Everybody's good, in fact, and they are naked and unashamed. That means that they have absolutely no fear. And can you imagine what they were
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
doing with no fear?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
No fear at all, no shame at all. I mean, they are living life and life more abundantly. They are good, they are flowing when they are knowing. But the moment that the enemy comes in there and they start wondering, the
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
next thing you know, they are now wandering.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
And God. Aunt Jackie has to yell out, adam, where are you? He says, where, Where? Where are you? And God sees everything. So it wasn't that God couldn't find him. He was out of alignment. Adam, you're out of position. You're not in alignment with me. And you can't flow unless you're in alignment with me. What are you doing? Then what does Adam say?
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
He says, I was afraid.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
And I hid myself. And God says, you know, he says, I was afraid and I hid myself. God said, who told you you were naked? Now, what's interesting is he was naked. It says, scripture says before that he was naked and ashamed. But watch this.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
The framing of his nakedness changed.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
What he knew about nakedness shifted. So all of this is a breakdown in his knowing. That's what the enemy attacked and that's what he still attacks. We were created to know. You're supposed to know.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I feel the Holy Ghost.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
You're not supposed to wonder. And I'm going to decree and prophesy right now in the name of Jesus. And this is why there's such an attack right now. There's an attack because I'm telling you, God is about to get his people flowing in their knowing unlike ever before. And they're going to walk and move in something different. If you believe it, just give God about five seconds of praise. I'm getting ready to get my knowing back. I'm getting ready to get my flow back. See, there's some people, and the reason why you're wandering is because you're wondering. But God is getting ready to break that wandering, wandering spirit off of you. And there's a clarity that's getting ready to hit your spirit unlike ever before. God told me about three P's that was going to come into position when you get your knowing back.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
And I'm going to tell you how to get it in a second.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
He's had three P's. He said, purpose. Your purpose, your person and your provision.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I'm going to say that again.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Your purpose. When you get your knowing together, your purpose and your provision is coming. Some of you have been praying about your purpose. God is getting ready to bring it to you. He. He's getting ready to give you clarity. Things are beginning to fall right into place. And you're going to start moving and there's going to be an acceleration in your life. Some of you have been praying about your partner because you believe. You believe there's a conviction in your spirit that you're not supposed to be doing this thing alone. When your knowing starts flowing again, your person is going to show up in your life. It's going to be clear. It won't be a counterfeit. It won't be an Ishmael. It's going to be an Isaac, and it is going to work. Are you hearing the words that are coming out of my mouth? Some of you have been praying about your provision. You've been praying about your business. You've been praying about your work. You've been tired of being behind. And the Holy Ghost told me, when you start flowing in, your knowing your provision is coming your way. If that's your word, give God a roar. In this place, I'm going to get my knowing back because I was created to know. So Jesus comes.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Jesus comes and he comes to do a few things. He comes, says this in one of the Epistles of John. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifest that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The number one attack of the devil against your life has to do with
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
what he causes you to believe between your ears.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
That's why the Bible says in Second Corinthians, chapter 10, beginning at verse 3, it says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Right.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So he is framing the.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
The battle that we're in. Right.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. We are in a battle. He's saying that they're not carnal. Carnal. But they're mighty through God.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Till the pulling down of strongholds.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The stronghold in that text is not
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
a demon, is a mentality. Study it when you get a chance.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
That's why Paul talks about transformation. And he says the transformation takes place according to Romans 12, according by the renewing of your mind. So the enemy attacks the mind.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Why?
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Because the mind is where you know.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Right.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
So we keep reading. For the weapons of our warfare are
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
not carnal, but they're mighty through God
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
to the pulling down of strongholds.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Watch this.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Casting down arguments. That was an argument in the garden. Did God really say casting down arguments? And every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the what knowledge of God. So Paul is telling us that the warfare is overknowing.

So Jesus comes to destroy those strongholds over our mind. Then what does he do? He gives us the Holy Spirit. Track with me. We're almost there. Jesus says, hey man, I gotta leave. John 16:13 Study when you get a chance. He says, I know we've been rocking
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
together for a few years now and
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
I know you think I'm all that.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
And I am. I am.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
True enough.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
That's PT chapter 12.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
He says, I know you're into me,
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
he says, but trust me, you want me to leave.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Because if I don't leave, he can't come. And the he that he's talking about is the Holy Spirit. Watch this. Who is the spirit of truth who will lead you into all truth? So I'm breaking off the lies that the enemy told you. One feel the Holy Ghost. This is a multi pronged attack. I'm a bind up the devil like the Air Force and then I'm going to send the infantry in. And that's going to be the Holy Ghost. And he will be with you on the ground, with you, leading you and guiding you, you into all truth. But then it gets a little deeper. Then if you go over into First Corinthians chapter 2, beginning at verse 9, Paul says, and we shout too early on this verse. We shout in verse 9. We should be shouting in verse 10. Put that up there. First Corinthians 2.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Not in my notes. Y' all just gotta let me flow.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
First Corinthians 2. So Paul says, but as it is written, eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart. Oh, lookie here, looky here. I have not seen nor ear heard. I ear, nor have entered into the heart.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
I hear heart.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Eye is not seen, nor ears heard, nor has it entered into the heart. The things that God has prepared for those who love him. We shout too early, because that's where we shout hallelujah, bless the Lord, and we automatically go to glory. We automatically go to heaven, which is wonderful.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
That is something to shout over. But that's not the context of this.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
The context here is saying that what's getting ready to happen to you? Watch this. Cannot be perceived by eye, cannot be perceived by ear, and cannot be perceived by heart. The one thing that is not mentioned there is mind.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Track with me. Track with me.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Eye is not seen or ear heard, nor has it entered the heart of man. Those things that God has prepared for those who love him. But then it says, but it's connected. This is what we need to shout over. But God has revealed them to us through his spirit. Track with me. For the Spirit searches all things. Yes, the deep things of God. Keep it flowing. For what man knows the things of a man except the Spirit of the man which is in him. Even. Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Let's keep it flowing. It says, now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God. That we might, that we might, that we might. The things that have been freely given to us by God. Keep going. Keep going.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Keep going.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
These things we also speak not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches. Comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Keep going. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. This is all about God giving us his mind by his spirit so that we can freely know. So the strategy of heaven is to break the lie off of your mind that makes you wonder if God said it. God is getting ready to shift it and you are going to go from wishing to hoping to believing, to knowing there's a flow, there's a wave coming your way in this season. Worship God with me. If you believe it, it's coming and the enemy doesn't want you to know it. The Bible says those who know their God shall be strong and they shall carry out great exploits. Daniel spoke that I'm landing in the context of the last days. You're going to know a real believer from a believer by title, by what they know.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Let me give some practicals and we're out of here. Let me use some practicals. So just, just tell somebody. Something good is about to happen. Something good is about to happen. So. Something good is about to happen. Something good is about to happen.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Some. Some.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Something.

Something.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Something good is about to happen. I believe it.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
I feel it in my spirit. Something good is about to happen. On the backdrop of cray cray, on the backdrop of confusion, on the backdrop of loneliness, on the backdrop of tears, on the backdrop of heartbreak, on the backdrop of barely getting by God, God is getting ready to cause something incredible to happen. If I was my father in law, I would tell you to get ready, get ready, get. Something's about to happen. Something good is about to happen in your life now. It makes sense now. The weapon formed against you makes so much sense now. The distraction, now the heartbreak, now the struggle, now the wrestling. Let me say this, I want to say this right. God doesn't need perfect circumstances to do a perfect thing. He doesn't need the ingredients of how you would prefer it to happen. To do what he's doing. That's what makes him God. I'm thinking about Job in the Bible. You remember Job in the scripture, God was having a conversation with the enemy and he said, hey enemy, what you doing? The enemy says, I'm going to and fro throughout the earth looking to cause some trouble. God said, oh yeah, have you considered my servant Job? That was God setting it up to show the devil you can throw your best shot.

I want to be obedient because I want us to sit in this anointing. I wrote. They'll put it up there. I wrote the summary of this message. I wrote it and I put it on my sub stack and they're going to put a QR code up There because I want to lean into this. Some things are taught, other things are caught. And this is a caught moment. But I want you to have all the teaching. So if you scan our QR code, it'll take you right to my substack and you can experience all the notes. You'll see it. It's powerful. I put it there for you because I wanted you. It's so important. I wanted you to chew on it.

of my voice and God is shifting something.

From hoping to knowing.

God is closing. He's closing that gap here today. He's closing that gap. And it makes all the difference.

Who you are when you know
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
is
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
different from who you are when you hope. Those are two different versions of you.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
The one who is hoping is in fight, flight. Freeze. Because you're only hoping. Hoping. I'm hoping. Your future, your destiny, your calling, the promise that's over. Your life is worthy of more than you hoping. You don't have a hoping God. I know the Bible talks about hope and everything, but. But no, no, no. You got to get to knowing. You got to know. I believe. Help my unbelief. My belief is not my problem. My unbelief is. If I get rid of my unbelief, then my belief grows up and becomes knowing. There's some things that you just got to know. See, when you know it's there, you won't quit. You won't quit. If you suspect it's there, you'll quit. Look, Jesus said, ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. That's a very fascinating passage.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
He says, ask, but.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
He says, but the moment that you ask, you receive. But he didn't stop there. He says, seek, because seek is proof that you know. Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Now.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
Now.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and it shall be open. Knocking is for those who really know
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
because seeking will lead you up to the door.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
But sometimes that door is closed. And if you don't know, you'll leave the door.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
But when you know, even when you
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
walk up to a closed door, you
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
know what God has for you is on the other side of that door. So you start, I know you're in there. Open that door. Watch this. Ain't that what you say? I know you're in there.

And that's what it's going to take. In this season, there's a conviction that's going to fall on you about what God promised you. A very powerful conviction. And the reason why you've been wandering is because you've been wondering. Wandering is the byproduct of wondering. Being aligned in purpose and flowing is the byproduct of knowing. And you are a different person when you know. The knower gets different results than the hoper. And in this age of misinformation and disinformation and just too much information, I want you to get those notes. But I'm going to tell you this part of in the book I talk about your knower, discovering your knower. And if you don't have that book, why do you not have that book? I mean literally, you can start reading two of the most powerful chapters today, Divine Intelligence and Misknowing. And by the time you finish those two chapters, the book will be on your doorstep. Put the QR code up there. If you don't have it, get it. For a number of reasons. Next Week I'll be on stage here with the bishop, God willing, and we'll have a powerful conversation about it. And then I'm going to do a book signing right outside. And then I'll go later on in the afternoon to Fort Worth to the Doc Bookstore there and have another powerful conversation with a young man by the name of Tim Ross. And I'll sign books there. And I fly to New York and have an incredible week. Pray for me of telling the world, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ covered, cloaked in a beautiful yellow book called Knowing. People are going to find Christ that didn't even know it, pun intended. And I want you to have it in your life. That's why I'm preaching it. But the book takes it much further. I want you to have it in your life, and I also want you to be a part of this movement. I am all the more convinced right now because of the warfare
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
and also
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
because of the doors that are opening for me to talk about. I was on the news twice last week talking about knowing mainstream news. This is God. Now, I want you to get the study guide substack. I want you to read this, but I am going to tell you this as it relates to knowing and tapping into your knower. And yes, he is the Holy Spirit. It's the voice of the Lord for your life. But one of the things that I need you to do in this season, while we're unpacking this conversation, is I need you to truly practice stillness. Getting still. Your phone should not be the first thing you reach for in the morning. I say it all the time. And I just want to reiterate. You got to understand that every company in the world has a strategy for your attention. Every company, Every company, the millions of companies in the world literally have meetings about how to manipulate your next move, how to control the next move that you make. And all of that manipulation comes through the information that it puts your way. You, right now are somebody's strategy.
Podcast Host (Potter's House Podcast)
And so stillness.
Guest Speaker / Pastor (Preacher)
You getting still, you turning that thing off. Watch. This is an act of resistance. Are you hearing me? Against that, which is trying to take your heart, trying to take your mind, and ultimately trying to take your knowing. You got to protect it now. I want to pray for you. Get that summary. Get that summary, because it's all there. And I can't give it to you all now because I'm going to see my wife. But I want to pray for some people if you're here and you felt mmm, and you felt this word resonating in a deep part of you. You felt like, man, if I could just flow from that place. Three things you got to do. You got to trace your knower, you got to train your knower, and you got to trust your knower. And if you felt throughout the message that the Holy Spirit was speaking to you and you felt, ooh, that I. Something is hitting me, I want you to come down because God is showing you the place where he speaks in your life, because he's going to cause you to trace it. And as you walk it out, and I talk about this in great detail in the book, you're going to train it because it's been with you your whole life. It's been with you your whole life. But you're going to get better at utilizing this inner faculty that God has placed on the inside of us. You're going to get better. You're going to know how to use it right. You're not going to quench it and push it down, but you're going to train it and it will be easy to trace. And your discernment and is going to go to a whole other level. And it's not going to be a misknowing. It's not going to be fear dressed up like knowing. No, it's going to be the real deal. And he will guide you in all matters. Second point is invitation. If you're here and you haven't met, you haven't opened up your heart to the One who made you, if you're here and you. You just feel, man, this don't feel like church. This feels like something. This feels like God. I mean, it feels like church, but. But it doesn't feel like. It feels like something is happening in me, not the environment. It's happening in my inner environment. And I feel God near on the inside. And I want to open up my heart to the Lord. If that's you, I want you to come and meet me here at this altar as well. Because that means that God is stirring. A man cannot draw you to Christ. All a person can do is lift Christ up. And when we lift Christ up, he begins to draw. So if you're here and you feel the Lord drawing you from the inside, I want you to come because I want to pray for you. If you're here and you know the Lord, but you've been wandering, you've been wandering and God is saying, whatever your name is, John, John, where are you? Tanya, where are you? Patricia, where are you? Felipe, where are you? Where are you? He's not mad at you. He's just saying you're wandering in a season when you're supposed to be knowing. And knowing is available if you're here and you. And the Bible says, like sheep, we've all gone astray. And you've gone astray, and it's time to come home. I just want you to meet me at this altar. We're going to pray. We're almost done. And if you're here and you say, pt, I just want to know. I'm tired of being gripped by uncertainty. I want to know what God is making freely available to me. If that's you, I want you to come. I'm going to pray for you. God is doing something amazing. I wish I had, like, nine, ten weeks with you. I'll be here as often as I can. Y' all keep praying for me. It's hard. I ain't gonna lie. It's hard. It's hard. It's very hard. Hardest thing I've ever done. Which must mean it's gonna be the most impactful thing I've ever done. Cover my family every single day. Father, I thank you much so, so much for these, your precious sons and daughters, your precious children, God, that you have gathered here together here in your house, Lord, because you love us so much. And you are for us. And not only God are you for us, but you know the plans that you have for us. And these plans are good and not evil. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us a future. Future. I hear the Holy Spirit saying, it's in front of you, not behind you. I put eyes on the front of your head, not the back. Because everything that's worthy of your attention is in front of you. Future and hope. Father, I pray, Lord God, for those who are opening up their hearts to you for the first time. You said, behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone would hear my voice and open the door, I will come in. I will come in. So, Father, as we say yes to you, as we yield and say yes, Lord, not my will, but your will. I thank you for the divine deposit of the Holy Spirit that you're going to make in their lives even now. Glory to God. Hallelujah. God, there's some. And I say it's purpose for all who are going to be that number that do great exploits, because you're going to cause them to know. So, Father, I pray new dimensions of knowing, new levels, new dimensions of clarity, boldness, and knowing that we might walk in something different that while the world is shaking, all the shaking is doing is putting us into position and our knowing will determine our going. Hallelujah. God, for those who are returning home, I thank you God for a prodigal son and prodigal daughter. Welcome. I thank you God that you bring in your best robe, you're bringing your best out because you knew they were coming home. You didn't discard Adam because he wandered, you corrected him and said, what are you doing? And then you created a plan of redemption. I thank you God that this is a moment of redemption. And not just redemption, but restoration and everything they thought they missed while they were wandering as they come back into alignment. Thank you for the doors that are opening. Thank you for the right relationships that will replace the wrong relationships. Thank you for the right scenarios, the right wisdom, the right set of circles, circumstances, the blessing that will blow their mind. It was the difference between wandering because they were wondering and knowing. Bless these your people. Repeat after me. Heavenly Father, I thank you for your love. I feel it. Heavenly Father, I thank you for this word you spoke to me today. I receive it. I thank you for Jesus. Thank you for making him who had no sin, all of mine, all of my weakness, all of my limitations, all of my shortcomings you place in his body

The Potter’s House Podcast | Pastor Touré Roberts
April 19, 2026
In this powerfully uplifting sermon, Pastor Touré Roberts delivers a timely word anchored in Jeremiah 29:11—“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…” Despite a climate of uncertainty, anxiety, and distress both globally and personally, Roberts challenges listeners to shift from "hoping" to "knowing" God’s promises, centering on the prophetic declaration: “Something good is about to happen.”
Roberts shares candid personal struggles and scriptural truths to guide listeners in bridging the gap between God’s certainty and human uncertainty. He unpacks deep biblical insights about identity, resilience, faith, and the spiritual psychology behind knowing versus wondering and wandering.
Tone: Faith-filled, candid, encouraging, and practical.
[01:21–13:22]
[02:18–11:33]
Roberts shares how God told him, “Something good is about to happen,” just as he and his family faced a traumatic, life-threatening event. This real-time, personal experience sets up the sermon’s vulnerability and testimony.
He explains the need to reframe negative experiences—to see God’s deliverance and not just the disaster:
[11:33–20:11]
Pastor Touré identifies that the enemy’s primary job is to ill-frame what happens to us, causing us to forget God’s plan and provision.
He explores the original Hebrew word "yada" (“I know the plans…”)—a word with intimate, experiential meaning.
[20:11–25:34]
Roberts highlights “the delta”—the gap or distance between God’s assurance and our uncertainty.
He calls for practical understanding:
[25:34–32:07]
[32:05–33:44]
[34:07–36:52]
[36:52–43:21]
[43:21–54:48]
Encourages listeners to speak in faith: “Something good is about to happen.” [43:59]
Asserts that “God doesn’t need perfect circumstances to do a perfect thing.” [44:06]
Invites listeners to "practice stillness," resisting the spirit of distraction and the manipulations of the information age.
Outlines three steps to developing one's spiritual "knower":
Reference to further resources: Roberts’ book Knowing and his Substack study guide.
