and life changing truth. Let's go on Walk it out. Wednesday Bishop preached a message discerning the right moment. Discerning that that's important before we get into the text because oftentimes we we miss what I call opportunities. I like to call them kairos moments. It is when God offers a divine window that we say I'm waiting for God. And God says I'm waiting on you. And most of us have this testimony. If you can finish this statement, I'm talking to you God. If you give me another chance, I promise you. Okay, so it's not just me. It's not just me. We all have missed the moment. We miss moments that we've Asked God to can you circle that background again? And we've oftentimes said, God, if you give me another chance at doing it, I promise you I'll do better at that thing. But there are sometimes God will not give you another chance at a moment because he wanted you to be prepared and sensitive to the moment. So as we begin to talk about tonight, I want to talk one thing about recognizing the sensitivity of the moment. So before we get into any backdrop about the time text, it came from Luke chapter 10, starting at verse 38. It started at Luke chapter 10, verse 38, to give you a backdrop. It's, it's, it's. It's a duel between two sisters, Mary and Martha, and one is doing one thing and one is doing another thing. And there is this. There is this Kairos moment where I don't want to run past it, where Mary is sitting at the feet while Martha is doing the work. So I'm going to ask Dr. Crump if you would, if you could read just a little bit of that Luke 10 that. If you could just read just like a little bit of that Luke 10.
Dr. Val
Can I say something?
Bishop Red
Absolutely.
Dr. Val
Title. Because it brought. When you were talking, it brought back to me a moment in the 1990s at a church I was going to not far from here, and there was a prophet there that night. And, you know, he was calling people out by name, right? He called me by name. And everybody said, that's you, that's you, that's you. So I went up there, but it was two people by that name, so it might not have been me, right? But when I went up, he said, almost missed God. I was like, what? He said, you almost missed God. And when you said that, discerning the right moment, it just brought that back to me. Because there are times, because we don't discern the moment that we will miss God.
Bishop Red
And not only do we, we miss God. While you getting that Luke twin, I am. I am a new. My wife and I are new Texans. So you all have a set of highways.
Pastor Don
No, no, you. You're Texan now.
Bishop Red
Yeah, I'm a Texan now. Okay.
Pastor Don
I'm a Texan.
Bishop Red
Boots in a minute. Boots and the cowboy hats. In a minute. You. You all have a unique set of highways throughout the city of Dallas and the surrounding it. You have a unique set of highways that even Google Map gets confused sometimes. Google Map. And I have a level of conversation like, do I get off here? Do I not get off here? And I, I found this to be quite Interesting that if you miss an exit. Yep. In Dallas.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
You gonna go five miles. Five miles, one way only to circle back, to come back, to find yourself in the same place.
Dr. Val
Yes.
Bishop Red
Again, there is no exit. Like in Florida. You miss one exit, just get off on the next exit and you're okay. Not in Dallas. And I thought about that when you made that statement. Dr. Val. It's interesting that if we're not careful and we don't exit when God tells us to exit, we will find ourselves in a circle.
Minister D
Yep.
Bishop Red
Making U turns, asking why God is delaying our blessings when really we were the one.
Dr. Val
Right.
Bishop Red
That didn't discern the exit.
Dr. Val
Right. That's right.
Bishop Red
Because the map is talking to us.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
But sometimes we're distracted by the traffic.
Pastor Don
Yeah.
Dr. Val
Lord have mercy. That was so much.
Pastor Don
He preaching already.
Dr. Val
Oh, God. That takes me back to the children of Israel. Oh, my goodness.
Bishop Red
My God.
Dr. Val
They could have been somewhere in how many days?
Bishop Red
11 days.
Dr. Val
And it took them how many?
Bishop Red
40 years.
Dr. Val
Oh, my good. Oh, 40 years.
Bishop Red
40 years.
Dr. Val
Something they could have accomplished in 11
Bishop Red
days because you didn't discern the moment. The moment.
Pastor Don
Can I. Y'.
Bishop Red
All.
Pastor Don
Y' all messing with me. I'm trying to be a good little boy over here. The word discernment. Come on. The prefix is dis. D, I s. Educators. Come on, y' all. Remember this from third grade. The prefix means not discernment, which means we're really not in the right place.
Minister D
You.
Pastor Don
You have a. Obviously, the word discernment means to discern the times and be right with God. But the dis means not sermon. In other words, not out of order. And if you look at the word disciple, which comes from discipline, I think it is our discipline that causes us to miss God. Our level of discipline. It is a regimented, syncopated beat. The old preacher said it this way. The late Dr. E.K. bailey, Concord Baptist Church. He said, the spirit of God is like a river because we're all flowing in it. You might be in a cruise boat. Somebody else might be in a yacht. I might be in a canoe or speedboat. But we see that. We all see the same things from different angles. And because we're flowing down the river, we tried to get off at somebody else's stop when God said keep going. Or we stayed on the flow when God said exit. So a lot of times, discernment is missed because we are not flowing how we need to flow. We are not disciplined enough to hear the voice of God.
Bishop Red
The one thing we typically don't understand. And we have to be careful, if I use your analogy, is when we're exiting on a boat, God may not want you to get off on that exit because your boat can't take the current on this exit. So you have a jet ski while cruise liner is getting off, and you're trying to follow somebody who's heavy into deep waters when your engine can't handle the current. So just because it looked pretty, that doesn't mean your boat has the assignment for that journey. Here's where you got to find yourself. Like Mary, be comfortable with where you are, because distractions is sometimes worse than temptations.
Pastor Don
Absolutely.
Bishop Red
So you're tempted. You're tempted. Okay. No, but distractions are easy to walk into because temptation's like, oh, I know that I rebuke the devil, but what about the distractions? Because the distractions can delay you from the promises that God has for you. While YouTube is worried about the temptation, he's not using temptation as a tool. He's using distraction because you want to have what other people have when God didn't equip you for what they have.
Pastor Don
Dr. Val, I think all of this relates to the text because the fact that they were distracted by what Jesus was saying, they didn't discern that he was the fulfillment of what had happened in the first 39 books. So when we get ready to approach Luke 10, you must understand Jesus is articulating to them. Dr. Vow is going to get to this point in terms of verse 23 and 24. Listen, you bless, because you get to see and hear the fulfillment of what the prophets were praying about. Don't miss the moment.
Bishop Red
Right? Right.
Dr. Val
So as we start, Bishop Red. Two passages of Scripture, but let me just set the text in context. At the beginning of Luke 10, he just sent the 70 out.
Minister D
Yes.
Bishop Red
Right.
Dr. Val
To go ahead of him. And he gave him, gave them instructions, and they were the 70 disciples. In Luke 9, you'll see where he had sent the 12. But now we see him. It says, another 70 have gone out. So that's where we are right now. Yes. And so Luke 10 and 23 says, and he turned to his disciples and said, privately, blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see. They had just returned from these cities, and they were rejoicing, saying, even, even the devils bowed to us, and they were so excited because of what they had accomplished. And he says, for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which you see and have not seen them, and to hear those things which you hear and have not heard them. Next.
Bishop Red
Can I say something? Because I. I find myself.
Pastor Don
Stop. Come on.
Bishop Red
In that text, he says, you have seen what kings and prophets kiss this. Prophets. Oh, Fivefold ministry. Kings. Title. I have allowed you to see what other people with titles haven't seen. Catch this. Which now speaks to the power of the pew. If you're close enough to God, you ain't gotta always wait on the pastor to give you a word. As a matter of fact, you ought to come to church. And when the preacher preach, it should confirm what God has already shown you. So I'm not waiting on a word. I'm waiting for validation. What God had already told me, right when I spent time with him. So he's saying, you're blessed because you see it. And you see it without a title. You see it without a gift. You see it because you're a disciple.
Dr. Val
You're a disciple, and that doesn't mean that you're not important because you're just a disciple. Disciples have the same ability.
Bishop Red
Come on.
Dr. Val
To see, even sometimes more than what those of us that have higher titles can see.
Bishop Red
Come on.
Pastor Don
Did you just cast down Pride?
Bishop Red
Come on. Come on.
Dr. Val
I might have.
Pastor Don
I, I, I see. I, I heard the power of God in that. Because most people look for the stage, but the stage came from the pew.
Minister D
Listen. That's good.
Bishop Red
Slow walk, that. Yeah.
Pastor Don
We are enamored. We are enamored with people on the stage, but everybody on this stage came from the pew. And you can't even get special for being in the pews, because everybody in the pews came from the streets. Listen, God has a way of leveling the playing field.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Pastor Don
Jesus is telling them, I didn't spend 623, 158 words telling you in the Old Testament that I was about to come and you not miss it. But Pastor Doug, I'm so thankful that God, even when I'm distracted, he said, hey, hey, pay attention. Anybody ever get that? Hey, pay attention.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Pastor Don
Watch her. Watch him. Did you feel that? Did you see that? Did you sense this? The Holy Ghost will guide you, will nudge you.
Dr. Val
Yes.
Pastor Don
The question is, are you listening to the nudge? I'll say it this way. Jesus throws warning shots.
Dr. Val
Yeah, he does.
Bishop Red
There you go again. You bother me. You bother me because I want. I want to kill this preconceived notion that people think our power come from the platform.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
Our power came from the pew.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
Every preacher that preaches with authenticity, power came from out there. When we were going through, before we got on the stage, when we were behind the stage. The only thing you're seeing now is the manifestation of what I got out there.
Dr. Val
Can I suggest that you purchase this two volume book by Dr. Lynn Anderson called they Smell like Sheep.
Bishop Red
Smell like sheep.
Pastor Don
They smell like sheep.
Bishop Red
Yes, Lord.
Dr. Val
He talks about how the shepherd, the leaders, in order to be able to be related to the sheep, they have to smell like them. In other words, they have to have been where they are. So could I recommend to you, it's, it's probably free online now, but it's by Dr. Lynn Len Anderson. They Smell like Sheep and it talks about what we're talking about right now.
Pastor Don
Dr. Val. The problem is we got a lot of people that want to smell like themselves.
Dr. Val
Oh wow.
Bishop Red
I'm gonna drop the mic right there.
Pastor Don
Listen, see we, we out here now. The problem is if we're supposed example, if we're supposed to all have on blue and we don't have on blue, we are out of order. That is not our assignment tonight. I'm just giving an example.
Bishop Red
You ain't tell me to wear blue
Pastor Don
and I see people showing up to blue engagements with red gear. Let me make that make sense to you. It's always got to be about you. Oh God, let me, let me. I don't mean to come come as a rebuke, but the word of God just does the chastising itself. The moment we become unified, that's where the power comes. These 72 disciples were sent out two by two in the power of God. Seeing the same things, accomplishing the same things because they were unified. And then the master now comes to say, hey, hey. Don't take this for granted. You are now seeing something that your predecessors didn't see. You're hearing something that your pred that your predecessor didn't see. I see a lot of young people. Praise God. I love young people. Listen. From youth pastor to young adults, I've done it all. But sometimes I have to slow it down and say, wait a minute. Don't take for granted that your parents and grandparents did not have AI. They did not have Google, they did not have the information you have. So sometimes you can judge them based upon a spiritual level or a way that they had church or do things. When you now have an upgraded privilege. Oh God. It is called entitlement. Because you have an upgraded privilege to be privy to information that they did not. You now have sociology, psychology, but they had neology.
Dr. Val
That's what they have.
Bishop Red
That's good.
Pastor Don
Ideology will make you fall on your knees and say Jesus. They didn't know all the great words, but they said, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. And they knew the power of God. They didn't speak the perfect English you speak, but they knew how to call down fire from heaven. Here's the problem. The problem is you're trying to use your mouth, mind, and not your knees. It's time for the church to hit its knees if we're ever gonna have real revival. Real revival starts with repentance and it starts on your knees. In fact, it ought to go from your knees to being prostrate in the floor. Lord, I'm dirty. Lord, I'm sticky. Lord, I am the sheep. Lord, there's no need of me trying to be this big shepherd. I'm a sheep. I'm dirty, I'm unworthy, I'm unclean. Touch my mouth.
Dr. Val
I'm sorry.
Bishop Red
Let just listen.
Pastor Don
Dr. Val, you started this because I, I, I heard what you said and it really cast down pride. I think pride sometimes is the gateway for so many different sins.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Pastor Don
And we see ourselves high and lifted up. No wonder we can't worship because we're on the throne and God is down here.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Pastor Don
Yeah.
Dr. Val
Oh my.
Pastor Don
And if we would fall on our face, the Holy Ghost would hit this place.
Bishop Red
So, so it sounds like you saying we got the scripture mixed up when he says, if I be lifted up, we thought we were talking about I be lifted up. We'll draw God to us instead of us looking at him saying, draw me closer to you. And I think we oftentimes miss the move of the potential revival. It's funny you say that. I was praying on my way to service today saying, God, when are we going to see more miracles? When are we going to see more signs and wonders? He said, when y' all get ready for it. He said, because the one thing I'm not, I'm not lacking power. That's right, he said, I'm not gaining power and I'm not losing power. I am power. He said, but one of my people who are called by my name would humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways. Then. So there's a then. So those things that prohibit us sometimes is us. So now we have to be careful with AI. We got to be careful with too much Google. Because what we do is, we do is we lose critical thinking, which means it thinks for us and we can't think for ourselves. So if it thinks for us, it will tell us we're smart enough to put it in the prompt. Not understanding God is the prompt. That I should be putting into and saying, God, I suggest that you help me. Could you download more information to me? And we oftentimes miss that opportunity because we're too smart for our own good.
Dr. Val
And that means that AI becomes a distraction to discipleship.
Bishop Red
Yeah.
Dr. Val
Because now it becomes hard to disciple people for Christ because they have so many options to choose from online. And they make their own decisions based on what they. What agrees with what they feel. Feel is right. So that's why this generation, our church, we're trying to build disciples. We're trying to form disciples, those that can be sent out into the world on behalf of the kingdom and in the name of Jesus.
Bishop Red
Isn't it amazing that Jesus does his ministry for three and a half years to build disciples?
Minister D
Yes.
Bishop Red
Three and a half years. But an Instagram post, three minutes, 60 seconds, you listen. People will disciple that.
Dr. Val
Yes.
Bishop Red
And discern. Oh, that person know what he's talking about. No, they don't. They have no idea. And half the stuff ain't. Okay, let me, let me. No, no, no, no. We. We. We.
Pastor Don
We might as well.
Bishop Red
We.
Pastor Don
We might as well go there. And this is gonna all tie into the text with Mary and Martha. It's gonna all tie it.
Bishop Red
I promise you, just to keep.
Pastor Don
Pastor Don said it. We have an eye problem. If I would be lifted up, if I y. I would be lifted up, then God would be glorified. Now, we're not against AI we're obviously not technologies. I don't want anybody to think that we are. What we're talking about is this. Proverbs 11:1. A false balance is an abomination to God, but a just weight is his delight. In other words, we have not balanced what's new. Most times when something new comes in, we run to it and it becomes an idol. Oh, God, Lord have mercy. It becomes an idol, replacing the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost cannot be replaced. Jesus is setting the level. He's setting it straight. He says, listen, disciples, I need you to appreciate the moment you're in because the prophets did not experience what you're experiencing right now. They didn't have me.
Dr. Val
So as we try to let you read. That's right. That's right. So as we go into the Scripture, because now we're talking about Mary and Martha.
Minister D
Absolutely.
Dr. Val
As we lead into this thing called discipleship. So bishop reads Luke 10:38 and says, now, it came to pass as they went, that he entered into a certain village and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus's feet and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving and came to him and said, lord, does thou not care that my sister has left me to serve all by myself? Bid her therefore to come. And Jesus answered and said unto Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things, but one thing is needful. And Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her. I would like to say this, and I'll give it back to you.
Pastor Don
No, you. You're doing real.
Dr. Val
You know, the Lord knows how to confirm. The Lord does confirm his word.
Bishop Red
Yes, he does.
Dr. Val
Couple weeks ago, three or three weeks ago, our elders and ministers were in training. And our theme for that weekend was the Mary Martha paradigm.
Pastor Don
Come on.
Dr. Val
Formation and praxis in the modern church. And what we were talking about was this. This was our thesis that the depth of worship shapes the quality of our work. So the depth, how deep, how close you are, then is reflected in the work you do in the kingdom. And we were talking about how this paradigm, or this, this shaping or this framework. And just to give you some definitions quickly, formation is that divine shaping, if you will, that the. The potter's wheel being on the potter's wheel. That's formation. And it's a lifelong discipleship. So you're always sitting at his feet. That's what Mary was doing, sitting at his feet. And that also is a term that. That says that she was a disciple because she was sitting at his feet. Feet. And we were looking at how the modern church is shaped now in this time, and we were saying that this Martha, Mary Martha paradigm offers a compelling framework for understanding the relationship between formation and practice in the modern church. And authentic Christian discipleship requires both to happen, both formation and praxis, and in the church today, Mary Martha serves as a reminder that effective service flows from a life rooted in communion with God, is rooted in communion with God. And the depth of that worship is expressed through prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare. And when we get engaged in prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare, the quality of what we offer the people of God will be reflected in what we do. And when our hearts are first aligned with God in worship, our service becomes more than just an activity. It becomes an overflow of his presence and his love. And as our relationship with God deepens, the impact of our work grows, transforming both the way we serve and the people that we serve. I just want to stop right there.
Bishop Red
Listen, you can put your hands together for that.
Pastor Don
Can we Give God a praise rooted.
Bishop Red
If. If we could do one favor. Could. Could we go back to Luke 10? I want to say it's verse number 39.
Pastor Don
It's 39.
Bishop Red
It's 39 because.
Pastor Don
It's because.
Bishop Red
Come on. It's 39 for me. Because it says. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at the feet of Jesus. Most of us are hung up on him sitting at the feet of Jesus, which is great. She's sitting at his feet. But it says and heard his Word. So you had the word giving a word. If you go back and study. And Bishop said it on Sunday. This is not Jesus first time at this house.
Dr. Val
Right?
Bishop Red
He's a regular there.
Dr. Val
He's a regular.
Bishop Red
This is. This is not his first time sitting, being in their home. What makes this time different than all of the other times? Is it possible that this now is a kairos moment? That Mary's hearing something she hasn't heard before? And she said, I can't be distracted, I have to be drawn. So there's a word that's being delivered that has arrested my spirit, that I cannot work. I gotta worship. There should come a time in your life where I don't care what's going on. There's a word that's in the ecosystem. There's a word that's in the air that says, I can't get online, I can't get on social media, I can't even work right now. I need to sit at the. Metaphorically, I need to sit at the feet of Jesus because he's saying something that's going to affect my tomorrow. So I'm too busy, distracted by today, when the Word has my tomorrow prepared. Because if I miss what he's saying today, I don't know if he's going to say it again. He's been to this house and here's the problem. He comes to the house regularly. But this time it's a miraculous thing that he's saying. What is he saying now that he didn't say last Sunday? What is he saying this Wednesday that he didn't say last Wednesday? I am so wonderfully enamored with Mary that her eyes and her ears stay open. Because God, I don't know when you're going to speak, but when you speak, I'm going to stop. And most of us think that God is going to bless movement. Sometimes Faith says, sit still, sit down and let me talk to you for a minute. Bishop said this on Sunday and after service, I just looked at him and shook My head. And he says that, is it possible that Martha is a type of the Old Testament and Mary is a reminder of the New? I almost screamed because I thought that is so true. Because Old Testament, to get to God, you needed rituals, you needed sacrifice, you needed work. In the New Testament, you already had access. And so Mary didn't have to work for something that was already hers to sit at the feet of Jesus. And the highest place in God is at the feet of Jesus.
Dr. Val
The highest.
Bishop Red
But. And I won't, and I won't get too much into this, we do know that there are three times that Mary actually lays at the feet of Jesus. This is not the only time she lays at the feet of Jesus. But Jesus says in this one, it won't be taken from her because she gonna do it again. But when she do it again, it's gonna be for Lazarus. And then when she do it again, it's gonna be to break an alabaster box. So this woman understands worship. Isn't it funny that the devil tries. The one thing he tries to get you not to do is worship.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
He don't mind you working. He don't mind you serving in church. You could be a pmt. You could be an usher, you could be a praise work. He said, keep on working, keep on working. Just don't worship, keep on working. Just don't sit at his feet, because the answer's at his feet, not in your work.
Pastor Don
I agree with you. The thing that I don't ever want to hear is depart from me, you worker of iniquity.
Minister D
Work.
Pastor Don
I. I don't ever want to hear it. Here's what I hear in this text. I hear pause. I hear a pause. Every now and then you have to pause to hear God, the busyness of life.
Bishop Red
If.
Pastor Don
If we're looking at verse 39, it says, and she had a sister called Mary, which, now, I don't know the full translation here, but it says, which also sat at Jesus feet for the very first time. I thought, I wonder if they were both initially sitting at his feet and weren't called Martha, but worship called Mary. I just wonder. And this laying down, this laying down in terms of Bishop, he just murdered, he said, perhaps, is the Old Testament being laid down to me? Dr. Val, Jesus comes in to say, now you need to appreciate me, because the Old Testament didn't get me. And then now he says, now let's lay the Old Testament down according to revelation.
Bishop Red
Yeah.
Pastor Don
And as this is laid down now, you can fully get what I'm about to drop on you. I just wonder what he was dropping on them.
Dr. Val
Listen, you know, that's too deep for me to handle, but I do want to handle. I want to add this.
Pastor Don
I'm throwing the layup thinking you're gonna duck it. I'm waiting to see what you're gonna say. Dr. Val.
Dr. Val
I gotta be me. Listen, what I do want to add to that piece is this. That because Mary was a disciple, being a disciple means that you sit at the master's feet. Whether that. Because the other time we hear this is when I think it's Paul. Paul is talking about sitting at Gamaliel's feet, right? That means that you are a disciple because you're going to learn. You're going to hear. And the 70 were taught before they were sent out. And I think one thing we do, as those that have been called, or so called, is they want to go before they've been taught. So they want to go before they learn. And they hear a call, they think from heaven, and they're ready to run. Ready to run. And not knowing, you'll fail because you haven't sat at the feet to hear what the instructions are. The word means that he was giving. Anytime the disciples were sitting at his feet, you can look through the whole book of Luke. He was giving them instructions. He was leading them somewhere. So to go into worship is to wait to hear from God. I remember the old people used to tell us, just sit there a minute. Don't say nothing. You're a worship. Just sit there. Pause. Let him speak, because he has a word, a word of instruction, a word of wisdom, a word for your future. He has a word. And as a disciple, as disciples, because we are all disciples, we've been called to sit at his feet.
Bishop Red
I think. I think you said something, Doctor, that most of us have a problem with. And it is that word, pause. It is that word, pause. Because sometimes we think silence is God not talking to us. Sometimes he's trying to settle our spirit so he can tell us something. Sometimes he's trying to detox us because he's not going to pour new wine in old wineskin. Sometimes he's saying, just wait a minute. Just slow down. But the world today is so instant, we think God talked to us. He called us. So we go now, sometimes. Call, Call and sit still. Don't call and move. It's not a mobile phone. You remember, I'mma date myself right here. Some of you young people, y' all might not understand. The phone used to be on a Wall. It used to be on the wall, and it had this little circle and you take the numbers and you just. You go around. You gotta wait for it to come back. You go around and wait for it to come back. You know, you had to wait before you die, you had to wait. And then, I don't know about your home, but then my mom and them, I thought we was rich. We got a long cord. So. Well, we got that long cord all
Dr. Val
the way around the house.
Bishop Red
Like, oh, boy, I am good to go. We got the long cord. I can sit in one room and thought, listen, I got the call, but I couldn't go nowhere. I got the call, but it wasn't mobile. Sometimes the calling is sitting still and let him talk to you.
Dr. Val
Yeah, absolutely.
Bishop Red
Just talk to me, God, I'm not trying to leave out the house, but we have so many mobile devices, we can move and talk. No, sit down and let him talk to you. It is when he sends the disciples out two by two. Biblically, I understand that as the power of agreement. It is one of two. He said, I can't send you out by yourself because I need to teach you all about the power of agreement. Which now takes me to Genesis and Adam and Eve. Most people have a problem with Eve. Most people got a problem. Adam, I got a problem with both of them. Because here's the thing. God says, if you bite it, there's a problem. But when Eve bit it, it wasn't a problem because their eyes didn't open. The eyes didn't open until Adam bit it. That's not because it was a man. That. Because when they both bit it, it was agreement.
Pastor Don
Work it, work it.
Bishop Red
So when they Both agreed now 10 and 28, their eyes were open. So when you agree, when you walk in agreement, you see things. So God is saying, I want you to worship for a moment because I'm gonna show you something. But I need you to be in agreement with somebody. Because how can two walk together except they agree? Because I need us to see the same thing. And the problem is we're hooking up with people who can't see the same thing. So now you have division. Okay, okay.
Pastor Don
So. So now, could it be possible that Jesus is articulating to Martha, Listen, you're comfortable about. You're troubled about many things. You're not in agreement with your sister Mary about who I am in terms of really worshiping me and gleaning. I wonder why Luke shows us this. First of all, Luke was a bad boy. That's first of All Bishop articulated that Luke wrote like 27. I won't get. Well, my mind is going there, but I'm trying not to get into that. Luke is powerful because if you put Luke and Acts together, it's over 50,000 words. So if you put Luke's and Luke and Acts together, you understand that Luke is talking to the Athenians, the Greek. They're heavy, they're high minded. This becomes a problem for those who are extremely intelligent. You got a good job, you got a good business, you got a lot going on. You are very intelligent. Luke writes this text to you to say, see, slow down. Put your mind over here, the information over here, and slow down. To get the rhythm of God. Sometimes slowing down is actually speeding up.
Bishop Red
That's good, that's good, that's good because you study that and look at what you just said. Martha is busy. Mary is slowing down. Yeah, but she getting Jesus to speed up.
Pastor Don
She gets the good, she gets the
Bishop Red
good part because this is the good part. But there's division in the house because they both see Jesus, but they both don't see the logos, they don't see the rhema.
Pastor Don
Dr. Val, what could they have done if they were on the same accord? I wonder what Luke would have written if they were both worshiping him. I don't know that we would ever even forget the text. We talk about Mary and Martha in terms of names, in terms of the difference between them. But I wonder what would have happened if they were on one accord. See, that's sometimes my problem. When we're praising God and we're worshiping God and then somebody's. Can I say it? Somebody's on their phone, somebody's distracted, somebody's doing it. If we all get on one accord, your cancer will move. If we, if we don't. If we get on one accord, the, the divorce has to dissipate. If we get on one accord, then miracles. If we get on one accord, then the money come. What would happen if you and your house got on one accord? I just, I just wonder, you know
Dr. Val
what Kanery, while you were saying that was this. Martha was carrying out tradition. It was traditional for them to serve those that were coming into the house. It was tradition, right? So she was carrying it out. But the scripture, I think it was Jesus and I can't remember where it is. Who says the, the. Your traditions have made the word of God. Mark 7 and 13, there it is of non effect. So she's carrying out the tradition, which was the right thing to do. However, Mary got The better part, rather than carrying out the tradition which made the word of God non effect in Martha's situation. Here is Mary listening to the word and bringing power in the house. I think Martha's house was saved because Mary was on her feet.
Bishop Red
That listen. That is so good. In. In Mark's gospel, it says, you hold to your tradition, make it the work of the Lord of null effect, non effect. So you. You hold to something, but you don't discern or recognize the moment. This moment does not. It doesn't. Like you said, it doesn't make tradition. Wrong. What he's saying is, but don't miss the moment because oftentimes we equate it tradition to success. But success without intimacy will birth emptiness.
Pastor Don
Oh, God, that's heavy.
Dr. Val
That's good.
Bishop Red
You can't. I want to be successful, but you got to be intimate with God to understand what success is. So now the level of success that the world tried to tell us, get more money. And I'm not against money. Learn. I'm not against that. But if you don't have a level of intimacy with God.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
If you don't put. And I love the way Bishop put it on Sunday. If you don't put God in the business deal.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Bishop Red
If you don't put his name over the contract, you can have success, but without intimacy, eventually you're going to be empty.
Pastor Don
Yeah, you're going to be empty. And. And what I heard and what you were saying, Doctor, about is that Martha was in tradition, but Mary was in transformation.
Bishop Red
That's good.
Dr. Val
Yep.
Bishop Red
Absolutely.
Pastor Don
Because if you sit at the feet of God, you'll be transformed, formed. And then I think about the fact that their house was in Bethany.
Bishop Red
Yeah.
Pastor Don
If you study the text, typically Bethany is alongside of the Jericho road, which he had just mentioned. What happened on the Jericho road. He's now disputing the lawyer to say, who is your neighbor? Because the Good Samaritan shows it is a real neighbor will take care of you when you beat up in your alongside the road. And then all of a sudden, he brings it back to Mary and Martha house. But if you look at Bethany, Bethany means it's the Mount of Olives. That's a crushing place. Listen, this is a prophetic word for somebody. I'm going to take a little liberty here because this is in my gut the reason why you have to slow down. This is a strong prophetic word for you, because something is about to happen, and if you, if you're going too fast, you're going to miss it. But if you slow down, you're getting ready to see where the enemy is trying to attack you on the left and on the right. Slow, slow down. Because that's your strategy. Slow down so you can discern the right moment. What to do when the. When the enemy comes in like a flood. But all of this, to me is because I think Martha, this is me personally, had gotten common with Jesus. I. I want to show you, if I can, I want to show you a clip of Bishop talking about Jesus. Because Bishop says on Sunday, he said the problem with the church is we've gotten used to Jesus showing up.
Dr. Val
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pastor Don
Because we don't really appreciate who he is. And I think Martha had gotten too common. And Mary says, I don't know what you're about to tell me. Can we play the first clip? Acast powers the world's best podcasts.

Bishop Red
He is the sovereign Yahweh God. He's all together lovely and perfect within himself. He lacks nothing God can think of, nothing that he needs that he can't create. He's never been hungry for anything that he could not satisfy. He is your God altogether.
Dr. Val
Lovely.
Bishop Red
The lily of the valley, the brightest morning star. He's my peace Michael. He's my bulwark. He's my shield and he's my buckler. Whatever he's got to say to me, I want to hear what the spirit is saying to the church. Shout Amen.
Pastor Don
Bishop opens the text with that because we have forgotten that this is the refiner's fire. We have forgotten that this is what Grandmother would say. He's a bridge over troubled water. We often take God for granted and then wonder why we miss a breakthrough. We often don't really recall God's resume. All you have to do is look back and see who God is for you to understand that his very words speak eternal life.
Dr. Val
And that wasn't rehearsed and that wasn't memorized. That was experience and sitting at his feet.
Bishop Red
Yeah. Yeah.
Dr. Val
It's when who he is becomes real to you. You can just spill it out of your spirit. Who he is in the moments whether I look back or whether I'm looking right now. I know who he'll be to me in the future. Good God Almighty. He is the Almighty sovereign.
Pastor Don
Come on.
Dr. Val
There is none like.
Pastor Don
Come on here.
Dr. Val
He's God all by himself.
Pastor Don
Well, talk about.
Dr. Val
Hallelujah. He's my healer. He's my redeemer. He's my keeper. He's my protector. Reach over and tell somebody who God is to you.
Pastor Don
He's the fire.
Minister D
Yeah.
Dr. Val
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's the wheel in the middle of the wheel Because I don't see them roll. Good God Almighty Master. Oh, my. He is the king of kings. Why? Cause he's fought my battles for me.
Bishop Red
Come on.
Dr. Val
Hallelujah. He stood high and he has sat low. Because he has done it for me.
Minister D
Good God.
Dr. Val
Ain't nobody got to tell me what God has been. Because he's been good to me.
Minister D
When I think of the goodness and all he's done for me, my soul cries out. Oh, God. My soul. Not my mouth. My soul cries out. Hallelujah. I praise him.
Dr. Val
Hallelujah. He could have let me sink. He could have let me drown. He could have let me go under.
Minister D
But thank God he saved me. Me,
Dr. Val
When I think of him.
Pastor Don
Whatever you need.
Dr. Val
Yeah, yeah.
Pastor Don
Is a memory away. Whatever you need is a scriptural way. Whatever you need is a character away. You need faith. Come here, Abraham.
Minister D
Yeah.
Pastor Don
You need courage. Come here, Joshua. You need leadership. Come here, Moses.
Dr. Val
Yeah.
Pastor Don
God was the fire on the inside of Jeremiah. You need to know what's going on. God was the prophetic eye on the inside of Jeremiah. You need to praise and worship God. God was the very thing that made David have a heart. After him, you need wisdom. Come here, Solomon. You need encouragement. Come here, Deborah. Come here.
Bishop Red
You, you.
Minister D
You.
Pastor Don
You need to be able to write something down in terms of your vision, your goals, your mission.
Minister D
Come.
Bishop Red
Come here.
Pastor Don
Habakkuk. Write the vision and make it plain. Come here.
Minister D
Come here.
Dr. Val
Tell somebody.
Minister D
Just sit at his feet.
Dr. Val
Reach over and tell somebody. Sit at his feet.
Bishop Red
Sit at his feet.
Dr. Val
Sit down a moment.
Pastor Don
Sit at his feet.
Minister D
Woo. Tell somebody. Scoot over.
Dr. Val
Cause I need room around his feet. I need room around his feet.
Minister D
I need room so I can sit with you.
Pastor Don
So everybody's grabbing for the top, but the real anointing is at the bottom.
Bishop Red
That's why the woman with the issue
Pastor Don
of blood said, if I could just touch the hymn, Lord have mercy. How can you touch a hymn if you're not on the floor? The hymn is a collection of all of all the experiences at the top. Could not hold the hill. Him had the drip of the real oil. You fighting for the wrong thing. Get on the floor.
Dr. Val
Get on the floor. Good God.
Pastor Don
Abraham fell on his face. And then God spoke to Lord have mercy. Oh God. Lord. Oh God. In the crescendos and the decrescendos of trouble, you gotta be still.
Bishop Red
I. I want to say something, but I don't want to change the atmosphere. Because I want you to hear this. Because this is Mary and Martha and you can stay there. They both know his name, but only one knows his voice. Just because you can call his name, that doesn't mean you don't know his. I mean, you don't know his voice. Martha is missing his voice, but she knows his name. You need to know more than the name of Jesus. You need to be able to recognize his voice. Sit down and learn how to hear him talk to you. Close your mouth, remove all distractions and say, God, here am I. Send me. Talk to me. Correct me even when it's uncomfortable. Because worship is obedience. Worship is listening. Because I don't want to know your name and not know your voice. I don't want to know what time church started, not know your voice. I don't know what time I got a servant. I don't know your voice. I don't want the altar to be full and I don't know your voice. I don't want to miss a moment in Bethany because you're talking and I think it's just like yesterday. You're giving a new word in a new season. And I don't want to miss what you're saying because I'm busy. I'm busy trying to grind and get this business. I'm trying to get the bag. Let me go get it.
Minister D
Forget the bag. Get the voice. Because if you get the voice, the voice Will give you the bag. If you get the voice, the voice will give you a husband. If you get the voice, the voice will give you your wife. If you get the voice, the voice will give you your kids back.
Bishop Red
This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased. It's his voice.
Pastor Don
And he said, hear ye him,
Bishop Red
he that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. Which means he is talking. But are we in a posture to listen?
Dr. Val
And this posture is prayer. The book of Luke, out of all the gospels, speak about Jesus, pray, praying the most. We see Jesus in prayer positions in the Book of Luke more than any other gospel. And when we get to Luke 11, the disciples say, lord, teach us.
Minister D
Teach.
Dr. Val
Teach us how to pray. So I think what's happening in this moment, as bishop was talking about prayer Sunday, God wants us to get back to the Mary position. And that's the position of prayer.
Pastor Don
Oh, I got a tag in there. I so agree with you. We are on one accord because I believe it's Luke 18. Men ought to always pray and not to faint. Listen, I'm a runner. I'm a runner. I'm a true track start losing. I like to run, I like to jump. I like to praise God. But I'm going to tell you something. I don't want to be like Elijah in this season. He looked for God in the fire, the wind and the rain. But he came in a still, small voice. The question becomes, do we have to entertain? Or are you willing to sit at your feet until God speaks to you about every demon that he's going to chase away? Until he speaks to you about how he's about to protect you. Until he speaks to you and you feel safe and secure, respected, honored. Until he speaks to you and gives you witty inventions, ideas and concepts that break the bank? Or were you willing to just go? Or do you just want to sacrifice and all and go work yourself for what God could have gave you? In a whisper, it's been services right here at this church, the Potter's House of Dallas, Texas, where the spirit of God would get high. Yeah, and old school. Before I had a cell phone, I could hear the Holy Ghost say, right, write down what I'm getting ready to tell you now. Sometimes I hear him say, open up your notes. Write it down. Because sometimes the best instructions for a strategy is the voice of God. Yes, it's the voice of God. And Dr. Val, you mentioned the prayer. That's a brilliant point. Because most of us think that Mary was just worshiping, I believe. I don't want to put anything in the text that is not in the text. I agree with what Dr. Vowell is saying. I believe that Mary was listening, but on the inside of her, she was praying that Jesus would say something that would change her life.
Dr. Val
And also in that position, scholars say that disciples knew how to ask the right questions. And so although she was sitting listening, she also knew what to say, what to ask, and how to ask the right questions.
Bishop Red
Mary does something that I want all of us, and I mean all of us, including me, to take a posture of that. Martha tries to correct Mary. Mary never tries to correct Martha. Mary never says, no, you need to be down here. Here's what I mean by this. Which means Mary is not even paying attention to Martha.
Pastor Don
Beautiful.
Bishop Red
You keep doing you, boo. But where I'm sitting right now, I can't let you pull me down, even though you standing up, because you'll change my posture if I entertain you. And a distraction. And so many times we're entertaining people while we're sitting at the feet of Jesus. So Martha says, I'm. I need you to get corrected. Mary says nothing. Jesus corrects Martha. Mary says nothing. And sometimes we got to learn how to just say nothing and keep focus on Jesus. They talking about me. Let them keep talking, baby. I'm focused on what he got to say about me. They don't like me. That ain't my problem. That's their problem. I'm focused on what he got to tell me. They coming against me on my job. That's not my problem. I am focused on what he has to say to me because their voice isn't important right now. His voice is everything I want to hear. And, baby, when you can just focus on his voice.
Pastor Don
Okay, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Bishop Red
I'm sorry.
Pastor Don
I need you to continue that because this is why rejection is a gift.
Bishop Red
Yeah. Yeah.
Pastor Don
The reason why rejection is a gift is because when you're rejected by man, you are selected by God. Yeah, you've been trying to fit in tight places, and God said my voice wasn't even over there.
Bishop Red
As a matter of fact, I'm going to give some of y' all the spirit of pay them no attention. They talk. I'm paying you no attention.
Minister D
Why?
Bishop Red
Because I'm seated right where I need to be. Well, you need to come help me. No, I don't. I'm seated right. As a matter of fact, I'm not ignoring you. I'm focusing on him. So what you deem as ignoring. I deem as focus. So you may see it as rejecting, but it's really a gift. Thank you for deleting me. Thank you for not calling me. Thank you for just walking out on me.
Minister D
I am so glad you left me.
Bishop Red
Now I can be where God wants me to be.
Minister D
Seated at his feet, and that's my gift. Thank you.
Bishop Red
I'm not talking to you.
Minister D
Oh, no. You better than who?
Bishop Red
You think you better than me? No, I don't. I'm just a better me.
Minister D
Because I left you because I'm seated
Bishop Red
at the feet of. Okay, I'm sorry for yelling. I'm so. I'm so.
Pastor Don
No, no, no. I love it because I see a lot of people that's about to save some gas money because you've been driving places where there were closed doors. And God says, you can save that and sit home and hear from me.
Bishop Red
What do you not know? Closed doors are directions. I refuse to stand at a closed door. Closed door. Thank you. Move on direction. Closed door. That's direction.
Dr. Val
Move on.
Bishop Red
Because one day I' ma step to a door, and that thing gonna open for me, and I'm declaring for somebody. Today, you get ready to walk into
Minister D
a door, you come on, have to
Bishop Red
touch God, say, all you got to
Minister D
do is just show up. Just show up. I'm gonna tell you, not that door.
Bishop Red
You gonna say thank you.
Minister D
Knock that door. I'm gonna tell you, thank you. That's the door, baby, because the radar just picked you up. And I'm in the right place at the.
Pastor Don
Because you discern the right moment.
Bishop Red
I discern. I discern. So. Okay, okay, okay. I got involved with this. I said, I'm gonna do this. So I'm not. I'm not promoting. I'm not promoting any. Any grocery store. I'm not pro. Any grocery store, But I was at this particular grocery store. They got one here, and they did the same thing in Florida.
Minister D
And.
Bishop Red
And when I got to the grocery store, the doors automatically opened, and. And I started shouting. I was like, the door's open. But I noticed it was this fan that blew. Like. I was like, what the fan blew for? I wanted to know why the fan blew. I said, the doors open and the fan blew. I asked the manager, I say, I understand the doors open, but why the fan? What the purpose of the fan? He said, no, you don't understand. The door is open for you, but bugs can follow you. So the fan blows off the bug that tried to walk through the door. You tried to walk through. Boy, I Started running.
Minister D
I said, this time when I show up, the fan gonna blow everything that tried to attach itself to me. Baby, you can't walk in my new season. And I didn't have to do nothing. All I had to do was.
Bishop Red
Okay, I'm sorry. I got it.
Minister D
I got it.
Bishop Red
I got him.
Minister D
So when the Holy Ghost is blowing, he ain't trying to knock me down.
Bishop Red
He's just knocking the bugs off everything
Minister D
that tried to connect itself.
Bishop Red
I'm sorry.
Dr. Val
Y' all might as well stand up.
Minister D
I love it.
Bishop Red
I'm sorry. I love it. I'm sorry. I said I wasn't gonna preach. I'm sorry.
Pastor Don
Because all I heard was the word off.
Dr. Val
Off.
Pastor Don
People are trying to put some stuff on you. But when the flesh saying, but. Off.
Dr. Val
Off.
Minister D
Off.
Pastor Don
Dr. Val, help us out here. He's starting. Listen.
Bishop Red
Blow it off. Blow.
Dr. Val
Blow it off.
Bishop Red
Blow it off. Everything that tried to connect to me. Here's the thing. Because there's bugs attached to you, following. You think they have access to what you have access to, but the Holy Ghost says they can't come in because they're not assigned to come into this category. And I am declaring for somebody today that the next door you walk in is not just going to be the doors open. Y' all gonna walk into the grocery store. Somebody like, oh, they go to fan. They go to fan. They go to fan the shop. I don't even know why you shouting.
Minister D
You're gonna be on aisle number three.
Bishop Red
Talking about God kept the bugs out.
Minister D
Every demon, every hormonger, every witch, every warlock, every bad seed, every generational curse, every. That tried to come in with me. Baby. Not in this season of my life. I'm getting ready to walk into a new season that I declare that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard. Walk in it. Walk, walk, walk. Walk. Walk in it. Walk. Walk in it. It's walking out. Wednesday, baby talk. Walking into my new. It's just the wind. It's just the wind. God's not chucking your course. He blowing the old things away. Come on. Blow in. Blow. Blow. Holy Ghost. Blow it off of me. Blow it off of me. Blow the old me away. Blow this flesh away. Blow this mindset away. Cause I can't take it into this new season. Oh, my. Yeah. Yeah.
Bishop Red
Yeah.
Minister D
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Bishop Red
Yeah.
Minister D
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. You.
Bishop Red
You.
Minister D
You might as well finish this.
Dr. Val
You.
Minister D
You.
Pastor Don
You might as well finish this. Because what you just said, there was some stuff. The bugs were trying to bite you. You don't even know what's trying to bite you into the wind.
Minister D
Blow.
Pastor Don
You might as well flow with that.
Bishop Red
I need everyone in here that feels like you're carrying last season and you need that thing off of you and you need to walk through the door and you need a fresh wind. I want you to run down here and meet me to this altar.
Dr. Val
I want.
Minister D
As I need you to run.
Dr. Val
I need.
Minister D
I don't care what's the devil tried. Over your children, over your money, over your finances, over your mindset. I don't care if you saved. I don't care if you're an elder. I don't care if you're a deacon. I don't care if you're a pew member. I don't care if you're a preacher. I don't care if you're an evangelist. God is declaring. I'm about to walk into a new door. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Doors open. Doors open. Doors open. Doors open. Access granted. Access granted. Access granted. Online line. God's opening the door for you online. Somebody type open door. Open door. Open door. Open door. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm hungry for it. I'm hungry for it. I'm hungry for it. All the other doors thank you for closing them. I'm hungry for. Open door. Open, open. The devil is a liar. The devil is a liar. The devil is a liar. The devil is a liar. Revival. Revival. Revival. Revival. Revive. For my children but my children, children Blow it off, God. Blow it off, God. I hear you, God. I'm sitting at your feet Talk to me here and by Tell me where to go Tell me the job to take Tell me the business deal Tell me how to do it Tell me how you want me to walk.

So it's not just important that the door is open, Michael, it's not just important that doors open is that you walk through the door. This is just. I can be in proximity of a door that will stay open. It will stay open because I'm close to it. But I can't benefit until I walk through it. You missed it. If I don't walk through it, I don't get the benefit of the fan. So everything that's connected to me can
Minister D
stay on me even with the door open.
Bishop Red
So God is saying I need you to do something.
Minister D
Don't just sit on there and wait for me.
Bishop Red
I put you in proximity to get
Minister D
the door to open. But I need you to be bold enough.
Bishop Red
I don't know who this is for. I need you to be wise enough to say I deserve.
Minister D
I deserve. I deserve. I deserve what I'm here. All the hell I have been through. I deserve. All the hell I've been catching. I deserve to walk through it.
Bishop Red
I deserve.
Minister D
I don't care who don't like me. I don't care. Matter of fact, you just heavyweight you a bug that gotta blow up. I deserve. I deserve it. I deserve it. Ah.
Bishop Red
I believe in a prophetic word. I believe in prophetic vision and I believe in prophetic gestures. Here's why I believe in prophetic gesture. Pastor Dobbins. Dr. The Bible says and whatsoever your foot
Minister D
shall which means you hadn't touched it
Bishop Red
yet but when you getting ready to walk into it
Minister D
which means you can
Bishop Red
make a prophetic gesture and walk into something.
Minister D
I don't know who this is for.
Bishop Red
It could be for two people other than me.
Minister D
But I dare you, wherever you are, just take a step forward. Just. Just take a step forward. Just think welcome to your new oh, I think you just heard. Welcome to your new well welcome to your new welcome to. Welcome. Welcome to your new I'm not going backwards. I want. Yeah. New. New. New. New. New. New.
Bishop Red
Catch this and I'm done. Catch this and I'm done. This one was powerful. When I walked in, the fan blew. It blew everything off me. And the door closed behind me and I turned back around and the door wouldn't open. Which means what I walked in and
Minister D
I can't no devil stop what God getting ready to do so the devil can't block what God's getting ready to let you walk into. I don't know who this is for today. Say sir,
Bishop Red
you can't go back out that door because that door only says entrance. Now if you want to exit, you got to Go all the way around to another door. And I thought to myself, since I'm in here, I might as well enjoy this. So even catch this. Even if you try to talk yourself out of it and try to turn around and act like you don't deserve it, God's blocked your flesh. Oh, I don't think you heard what I just said.
Minister D
God said, even if you think you
Bishop Red
don't deserve it, I'mma give it to you anyway.
Minister D
Even if you think you don't deserve it, God says, I'mma give it to you. So, Martha,
Bishop Red
you know his name, but in this season, you don't know his voice. Mary knows his name and his voice. And she says, I'm not going to be distracted by being busy. I just want to hear you. And I'm believing online and in this place, the revelation that God just gave whoever this is for promotion. Increase overflow breakthrough. Broken generational curses. A reverse in financial decisions, court orders being settled, back pay coming to you.
Minister D
Increase hit your house because you made
Bishop Red
a conscious decision to walk in the door.
Minister D
And I'm declaring that what the enemy
Bishop Red
meant for evil, Goddess. So, Father, I pray over your word today. I pray, God, that I'm not talking to Martha, I'm talking to Mary's. And I mean that as a metaphor. I'm talking to the Marys that decided to sit at the feet of Jesus. Jesus on today, whether in this church or online, that you just said, God, I want to hear from you. And today you have silenced us. And in the midst of walking out Wednesday, God, you created a pregnant pause to let us hear from you that I have decided that I will not turn around from the promises you have made on my life. That I am declaring, even if I won't turn, if I decide decide to turn around God, you won't open the door. That you're gonna allow me. You're gonna make me walk in these blessings, that you're gonna make me lie
Minister D
down in green pastures. You're gonna make me lie down in green pastures. You're gonna make me lie down in a prosperous place.
Bishop Red
And no weapon that is formed against you will ever be able to prosper against you or your bloodline. I don't think you heard me, devil.
Minister D
You can't touch my children's children because of the decision I made today. Get your hand off my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandchildren. They don't even know. I'm praying for them now. That the blood, the blood, the blood, the blood, the blood, the blood, the blood, the blood the blood. So let it be to you
Bishop Red
according to your faith. I told you I believe in prophetic gestures. It wasn't just a walk that you did where you are. For everyone that moved to the altar or that moved out in the seat, God said, as you were moving, that was a prophetic gesture. As you made your way to this altar, doors was opening. Opportunities are coming your way. And the devil cannot stop this next opportunity. As a matter of fact, the next blessing is going to make the devil mad.
Minister D
This next season of my life is going to make the enemy mad. As a matter of fact, I accept this new assignment. My new assignment is to take off the devil. My new assignment is to walk in my blessing. My new assignment is to move like God told me.
Bishop Red
So, Father, I come against every mindset that may try to travel back to an old pessimistic way of thinking. This is a new mindset. This is a new season that when I walk to this door, it's just gonna open. And I take 10 seconds to seal it with a praise. I take 10 seconds to seal it with the best Praise. I take 10 seconds. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Those gonna be happy to hear. Those gonna be tears of joy. Those gonna be. Those gonna be tears of joy.
Minister D
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bishop Red
Talking to Pastor Dobbins, we're having a discussion about how sensitive this season is right now. And what I sense in the spirit is that most of us are our own worst enemies. Hear me? Most of us, it's not the devil. It's a decision. And I am deciding that I'm gonna sit at the feet of Jesus. I am making a conscious, cognitive decision that I'm gonna hear his voice, that I'm not gonna be distracted by people telling me I can't make it. I'm not gonna be distracted by me thinking I don't have enough education because somebody gonna get a promotion who does not even deserve it. And you're not educated for it.
Minister D
I am.
Bishop Red
I'm speaking for somebody.
Minister D
I'm about to get something I didn't
Bishop Red
even qualify for,
Minister D
but I learned it
Bishop Red
sitting at the feet of Jesus. I'm gonna sit here as he keep talking to me. I don't care what's happening around me.
Minister D
I don't care what's going on on
Bishop Red
the news, as long as I'm seated
Minister D
at the feet of Jesus.
Bishop Red
I'm not in a recession. How can I be a recession? The kingdom doesn't even know recession is. Where in the Bible does God say I'm in a recession, so why am I worried? Here it is, Martha. You worried about too many things. Your worry is blocking your ears. I need to hear from you, God, he said, then stop worrying and start worshiping. But I don't know how this is going to work out.
Minister D
The worrying.
Bishop Red
Pastor, that sound. No, no, no. Clear your ears and hear God in a still, small voice, without a shout, without a dance. Say, it's already all right. It's already all right. I've already taken care of it. I know what the doctor report said, but catch this. He's a practicing physician. I am the master physician. So whatever report the doctor gave you, whose report would you believe? I believe the report of the Lord.
Minister D
And he says I'm healed.
Bishop Red
If he says I'm delivered. I'm walking in this new season, and it's not even my responsibility to blow the bugs off. When I walk in the door, there's a tool called the Holy Ghost already assigned to get it off of me. Don't believe me? Watch the scripture. Old things are passed away. All things become of new. So I'm believing as you walk into this next season, this is going to be a brand new mindset. Let me say this before we get out of here. Let me get this before we tell you. Don't try to convince nobody else what God did for you. Take your time, Walk out your blessing. And they say, child, what's wrong with you? Nothing. You good? Yep, I'm good. What's wrong? Nothing. Watch this. Because I'm walking through a new door. I' ma walk so fast that the people used to ask me, what's wrong? Ain't gonna be around no more. I' ma walk so fast that I'm gonna catch up with the people who's already doing good. Girl, you about to walk at my pace. And my pace is at breakthrough. My pace is a blessing. I'm gonna say this. I'm get out of here. I'm gonna get in trouble right here. I'm gonna get in trouble. So lady and I go walking in the morning and we walk and you know, my legs are. I got long legs. And she got to walk at double the pace to keep up with me. Another morning, we were walking. She said, I don't care how fast you go, I'm walking at your pace. I said, all right then, come on, let's go. Imagine if you got connected to was somebody that didn't. You didn't care what pace of faith they were walking in. Girl, you got cancer. We walking at a Healing pace, man, the doctor said you ain't gonna make it. We walking at a healing pace. I don't care. Oh, you what?
Minister D
You broke?
Bishop Red
No, we don't walk at a broke pace. No, no, there ain't no such thing.
Minister D
Nuh.
Bishop Red
I believe it, David. That says, never have have I seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed beg.
Minister D
For
Bishop Red
we don't walk at that pace. Weary and gloom. We don't walk at a pace of worry no more. That season of life is find somebody that walk at your pace. And keep going and keep going. Matter of fact, high five. Somebody tell them overflow to just hit your house. Overflow. Turn.
Minister D
Overflow. Overflow.
Bishop Red
Just hit your house.
Minister D
Overflow.
Bishop Red
Overflow. Overflow. Overflow.
Minister D
Overflow.
Bishop Red
Oh, we gotta get out of here. Overflow.
Minister D
Type it in the comment.
Bishop Red
Overflow. Overflow. Overflow. Over. Overflow. Overflow.
Minister D
And if they don't high five you, they can't walk at your pace. If you don't high five me, you can't walk at my pace. Cause I walk at the pace of overflow. I walk on the pace of increase. I walk at the pace of. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard. Neither has it entered. Okay,
Bishop Red
we out here now. We out here now. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to get your best seed offering. I want you to get your best seed offering. If you're here, you can get right here on the altar. However you decide. It doesn't make a difference because you walk through it Right now. I want you to get your best seed offering online. Get your best seed offer. Get your tithe. Your offering. But I want to get your best seed because this seed is for open doors. This seed is for open doors. If you're in need of a tithing offering envelope or if you want somebody to pray for you, we still have elders and ministers here that will pray for you. We're gonna do all this at one time. We're gonna have prayer. We gonna do tithe and offering. My brother gonna give the announcements.
Pastor Don
Listen, we want to give you. First of all, this is evidence that God is opening doors. Because we've got a back to school Sunday. Can somebody give God Glory on August 9th? Add this to your calendar. In about a week and a half, we're going to be celebrating back to school. School. We want to make sure that our children are equipped with the best and the brightest tools and supplies to not only survive, but to thrive in an educational world. So before the year kicks off, we're going to be covering our students in prayer. Both Destiny World and Firehouse. Can we give God glory for Destiny World and Firehouse? Come on. Firehouse is our teenage youth ministry. Destiny world is 0 to 12 years old. We're going to be helping our students start the year off with free backpacks. Somebody say free?
Minister D
Come on.
Pastor Don
Sound like God is opening doors for our children too. And supplies while they last. Now parents, be sure that your children are checked into their age appropriate ministry. Don't forget to represent your school by wearing your school gear. Come on, you get to be cool whether it's college, high school, middle school or your almanata. I think I got everything. Let's send the next generation into school encouraged, equipped and covered in prayer.
