And over the last 20 years, I've seen behind the scenes of businesses just like yours. Whether they are makers, manufacturers, artists or food and beverage businesses. I have spent so many hours studying it all. I've discovered what makes them successful, what mistakes they could have avoided, how did they turn their ideas into a successful business and what are the strategies that they have used to make more sales and be discovered by more customers. And this is what this show is all about. Whether you're just starting out or you're looking to become a million dollar Product Boss, I'm here to give you the permission to chase your dreams no matter how big or small. All you need is the right mindset, a little courage, strategy and support and you too can be the next million dollar Product Boss. Let's do this. Hey Product Boss. And welcome back to the Product Boss podcast. I am Jaclyn Snyder. I am the founder and your go to coach for building a product based business that's both profitable, sustainable and actually fun to run. Now if you're new here, welcome. I've helped thousands of product based business owners grow and scale their brands from kitchen table startups to multi six figure stores. And I'm honored that Inc. Magazine named us one of the country's most sought after product based business coaches. So you are in the right place. Now, each week on the show I teach you how to make more sales, create consistent income and build a brand that's known for something without relying on constant posting or burnout hustle. So if you haven't yet, make sure to hit that subscribe or follow button wherever you're listening. Because every episode is designed to give you a micro win that moves your business forward. Here's the truth. October is the month that separates those who react to the holidays from those who lead a business through them. Right now, there are two kinds of business owners. They're the ones saying, I'll figure them out when the orders come in or even I hope I get those orders. And the ones saying, I'm going to create a plan that brings the orders in. Now the difference, well, it's preparation and it's creating a plan and it's getting support. And I've seen this transformation again and again with my students inside of my program, the sales accelerator. So let's take one of my students from last year. She made about $9,000 total from January through September. And she was tired and she was overwhelmed and she was convinced that she just needed more followers or maybe even a different product. But here's what changed. She learned that she didn't need to grow an audience to grow her income. Instead, she learned my OPA method, which is other people's audiences. So she decided that she was going to start showing up in front of other communities and other customer bases. She did that through collaborations. She did that through getting on other sales channels. And by December, she made $30,000 in just three months. Now that's the power of focusing your effort in the right places. So let's talk about what to actually do right now. The three steps that will help you be ready for Black Friday and beyond that. So I call this the holiday readiness framework. So, so step one, we're gonna focus on what's already working. So too many product based business owners are trying to reinvent the wheel in October. But here's the truth. You don't need to launch 10 new products to have a big holiday season. You just need to sell more of what's already selling. So ask yourself, what are my best sellers right now? What are my best sellers in the season? Where do I sell best? Is it Etsy? Is it in person markets? Is it on your website? And when customers come back to me again and again, what are they coming back to buy? Your job this month is to double down on what's already working. Because when you lean into your known for products, your bestsellers, your core collection, your signature pieces, your marketing is going to get easier. Your messaging Gets clearer and your customers know exactly what to buy from you. That's how you start to build a brand that's remembered and recommended. Now that's step one, focusing on what's already working. Step two is how do you get in front of other people's audiences? Right? And that's using my OPA method. This is my secret sauce. If you're feeling invisible right now, if your posts aren't converting, if your engagement's low, or you don't have time to grow your audience, I want you to listen closely. You don't need more followers. You need more eyeballs in the right places. So instead of trying to grow your own audience from scratch, I want you to borrow someone else's. So what could this look like? This looks like partnering with another maker or brand, getting into local markets, bundling your products, selling wholesale, and getting onto shelves of stores where people are walking through. Maybe it's getting featured in a gift guide or doing a giveaway with a complimentary brand, or even just even, you might want to collaborate with a subscription box or an influencer to that shares the same ideal customers. These are all ways of getting in front of other people's audiences without ads, without needing a big following, and without waiting for the algorithm to bless you. And when you do this strategically, you create visibility that converts real people, finding and buying your products in real time in the places that they're shopping, you want to make sure that you're selling in the right places. Now step three is to maximize the value of every customer. So once those customers land, your next focus is turning them into repeat buyers. So let me give you an example. One of my students, Nancy, is such a perfect example of this. She sells in person, mostly at markets. And she used to think, I just need more customers. But once she learned how to sell better to the one she already had, everything changed. She raised her prices, she improved her displays, and she introduced small bundle options and limited edition upsells. And do you know what she did in the season? She doubled her biggest month ever, selling the same number of units just at a higher price with better margins. So that's what happens when you focus on your average order value instead of just volume. You don't always need more people and more things. You get to raise the value. So step three is to sell better to the people who are already buying. This might mean offering a buy two get one bundle or creating limited edition holiday sets. How about sending a follow up email with an upsell or even adding a QR code to your booth that brings them straight back to your website to shop again or join your newsletter. So every small tweak compounds. And this is the season, my friends. This is the season to make them. Now, before we wrap this up, I want to speak to the mindset piece because I know this season can feel really overwhelming. So maybe you're thinking, I just wish I was busier. Or maybe you're thinking, I'm already so busy, how could I possibly do more? So I want to invite you to step into your business this season, not out of it. To level up as the leader and the business owner. Because this is your moment. This is when buyers are ready. This is when your products get to shine. And the difference between those who thrive and those who just survive the season, it's not talent. It's not even the product. It's the support, the structure and the belief and the plan. So that's really what I built inside of the Product Boss Sales Accelerator. Now I'm teaching it live over this season. So those of you that are my new students, shout out welcome and. And those of you that are joining, you get to be supported. This is where we're going to talk about building repeatable sales strategies and how to use other people's audiences to drive traffic and how to turn your bestselling products into a profit engine. So if you're craving accountability and clarity and you want a coach to walk you through this, plus a community that just gets it, my friends, it's your time to join.
