Chris and Tim talk about why many painting companies get stuck even after hiring project managers, adding new software, or creating checklists. Tim explains why most problems in production are usually connected to unclear workflows, undefined roles, weak handoffs, and missing systems upstream.
They also discuss why automation should come after the business has mapped, simplified, tested, and refined its process — because without that foundation, software can simply automate chaos.
