a manicure that works for you. And then every time you look down at your hands, you're like, yeah, I'm taking care of me. I think there is a huge majority of us who look at people's hands as a way to determine, like, who they are, how well they take care of themselves. And when you see someone whose hands are a mess, you instantly think they're a mess too. Signal to yourself first that life's going okay. You don't have to go somewhere and have someone do your nails. Watch a YouTube video and do them yourself, but take care of your hands. Hey guys, it's Rach. Welcome to the show. I'm so glad that you're here with us today. And I have a favor which sounds kind of harsh if we just met, but I'm assuming that most of you have been a part of this community for a hot minute. And so I gotta ask, are you subscribed to the podcast? Subscribing to the podcast you listen to regularly is one of the best things that you can do for hosts like me. It helps to support the show and the staff that works on it. It ensures that you never miss an episode when we drop a new one. And here's the cool thing about subscribing. If you do it and then you hate this show, just unsubscribe. It's one click away. In the meantime, if you're listening. We would so appreciate it if you would just tap that button and make it official. Let's just call it like it is. Sometimes our body, sometimes my body has felt like a stranger after I had my first baby. And if you've ever carried a baby in your body and then you push the baby out and your stomach is like really weirdly squishy and maybe you had the fantasy, like I had the fantasy that when the baby came out, you would magically be at your pre pregnancy weight. But then not only are you not at your pre pregnancy weight, you also still look like you're six months pregnant and you're wearing mesh underwear, Right? Like there's those times. There are the times in life where maybe we blink and we don't know how it happens, but we gained a bunch of weight that we didn't want to gain. Or maybe you're in a season where you've lost a bunch of weight and now there's this new body and you're still struggling with the confidence you thought was going to come if only you had lost the weight. Or if you're like me and you're in perimenopause or menopause and your body has changed in ways you did not sign up for, but now you're trying to deal with the ramifications of something you have no control over. Like, you wake up one day and even though you did not change one thing about your nutrition or your workout, suddenly you're gaining weight or you've got belly bloat or I don't know about you, sometimes I look down at my hands. I don't know why that part of my body, but my hands look old. Like I'm like, when did I get my meemaw's hands? They're here. I have them. I swear in my memory as a little girl, she didn't have these hands till she was like 80. I swear I have them at 42. I don't know. But I do know that I recently made a video inside of my broadcast channel. If you don't know what that is, there's like a little group inside of Instagram that's for people who really want to interact with me a lot. So I'm guessing these are like the people who have read all the books, the people who do all the things that came to Rise Conference. If you're one of those people, you should totally join us. I use that broadcast channel to get insights, to share stuff that's going on, to give you behind the scenes. But for the first time ever, I use it as a way to get feedback on the next book. So I made this video and I asked the community there. I was like, hey, my next book is all about midlife. Like, what does it look like after 40? What are the things you guys are struggling with most? I know what I'm struggling with, but I'm curious if it's what you're struggling with. And the last time I checked, there were 200 comments on that video. And so we're clear, none of y' all leave a sentence. You. You love a. You write a little book, you do a paragraph, you share the whole story. So there's just this outpouring of from the community about what they're struggling with. And almost exclusively, I. If there are 200 comments, 175 of them are saying that they struggle with their body changing. And I'm like, man, that's so real. And it's not just something I experienced when I started going through perimenopause. It's also something I experienced at 24 when I had my first son. So I thought I would create an episode about what it looks like to embrace the body you have today and what it looks like to glow up where you are right now. I am not sharing ideas in this episode that are touchy feely. I am not going to tell you to journal and speak to your heart and learn to love yourself. Those are all very important. And I have those episodes. If you want to go listen to one. Today is straight up practical hacks. So you can feel like you are embracing the body that you have and you feel better about it. Look, a changing body is frustrating. It's confusing, and it can feel super discouraging when you look in the mirror and you don't feel like you recognize the person staring back at you. But here's the thing. This is the body you're in right now. It's still your body. It's still worthy. And this body can glow. We've been sold this lie that you can't feel amazing until you fix yourself. And you know, I love the idea of fixing yourself, man. I've built an entire life around how I can make myself better simultaneously. We cannot wait for someday to feel good in the life that you've got. I am all about wanting to be healthy, wanting to be the healthiest, best version of yourself. What I am not about is waiting to love yourself until you're some future imaginary version of yourself. So today, let's do something different. I want to give you nine hacks. These are little shifts. These are tiny micro tweaks that will help you glow up in the body you have today. Right now, you don't need a new waistline. You don't need to shrink down. You don't need to spend six months training for a marathon unless you're like me. And that actually sounds super awesome. These are things that you can do that'll make you feel more confident. I hope they make you feel more beautiful and more like yourself. Not who you used to be, but who you are today. Now, my favorite part is that most of these hacks have nothing to do with changing anything. They're about changing your perspective, your energy. And honestly, one of them is just about changing your lighting. Seriously. Because half the time it's not you. It's the dressing room mirror or it's the lighting at Target when you're trying on the pants, or it's the pants that are not made for your body type. And why are you trying them on in the first place. If you are ready to stop waiting for a better body and start glowing up in the one you've got, this episode is for you. Number one, you want to glow up in the body you have today. You need clothes that fit the body you have today. Girl, I get it. All I wanted when I had my first son was to fit into pre pregnancy jeans. And took me about a year and slowly but surely I got back into pre pregnancy jeans. Just to keep it totally real. After I had Jackson, my oldest son, I still wore maternity jeans for like nine months. So if you are in that world where you're like, I am still rocking these stretchy pants, you are not alone. But I did finally figure it out and I lost the weight and I was back in my pre pregnancy jeans. Not like smoothly. You know, Beyonce says if you don't jump to put jeans on, you don't feel my pain. I was jumping to put those jeans on, but I got them buttoned and that is what matters. So I got back into my pre pregnancy jeans. Super shocking turn of events. About a week after I got those jeans to button back up, I found out I was accidentally pregnant with my second son. So that was wild. But what I did not understand is that regardless of whether or not I could lose the baby weight to get back into those jeans, I was never going to have the same body again. Our bodies shift and they change when we give birth, right? Stuff happens to our hips, stuff happens to our joints, stuff happens to our lady business. Like, things happen and it's not going back. And if you think that all you need to do is lose the 40 pounds of baby weight in order to get back to your old body, you are going to be so disappointed. You're going to beat yourself up.
C
Because.
A
Because the reality is this is your body now. Whatever season you find yourself in, even if it's not about having a baby, you've gained weight, you've lost weight, you're older, you're starting a new job, and you, like, want it. You need to get clothes that fit the body you have today. So tactically, this looks like you investing in two or three pieces. And when I say two or three pieces, I mean that you figure out a few pieces you can wear over and over and over that are as high quality as you can afford. If you hear this and you're like, I do not have a budget to go buy brand new, high quality clothing, I would really love to encourage you if you do have a little budget. Just not one that's that big. Go thrift shopping. Go look on ebay. There are so many beautifully made vintage. And I don't mean vintage like 1940s. I mean, I have so many pieces in my closet that are Ralph Lauren, because that's one of my favorite designers that I got on ebay, that I promise you, when they were sold back in the early 2000s, that flannel was probably 300, because Ralph Lauren's super fancy. But when I bought it on ebay, it was 17. It's not about a budget. It's like, if you got a little money to spend, really get tactical with what you can buy that you will wear. A million times. I told you guys living in the new house, my closet is much smaller. And I'm actually loving it because it forced me to get rid of, you know, the 8020 principle forced me to get rid of 80% of things I am not wearing. So I'm wearing the same jeans over and over. I'm wearing the same shoes over and over. And I'm realizing it's so cool because I'm like, yeah, these are the clothes I love. They fit me really well. And I can see myself having them 15 years from now. So invest in two or three pieces that fit the body you have right now. Do not do that thing where you're like, well, these jeans are really tight. But I know that if I keep working at it, you know, in two months they'll button. Like, don't do that. Just go up a size, dude. Nobody is looking at the Size of your pants, but you, who cares? Sizing up isn't giving up. It's not saying that this is the body you're going to have forever. If you're really excited about changing it in a different way going forward, great. But let's get something that fits you today. One thing you can do, let's say it's pants. Get the size that fits your body now and, and aim for the day when you get to tailor those and like get them all, you know, perfectly fitting the body you're going to have in six months. I think something happens to us psychologically when we keep wearing clothes that do not fit us. Let me explain. I don't mean that you're wearing clothes that are oversized, because I love oversized. It's part of my style. But when you are wearing clothes of a body you had when you were maybe bigger, like let's say that you lost weight and you worked really hard, but your psychology tells you that, oh my gosh, what if you go backwards? So you're like, what if I go backwards? I gotta keep all these old clothes Because I'm afraid I'm gonna go back to that and I don't wanna have to buy new clothes. The opposite happens too, right? People gain weight and they keep all their clothes at a smaller size. They're like, oh, someday I'm gonna get back there. Or you squeeze into those clothes. Something psychological happens every time you put them on your body. I think you're reinforcing the idea that something's wrong with you. Instead, emphasize clothes that make you look good. If you got a pooch and you don't want that, okay, get some high waisted jeans, 100 cotton, suck that bad boy in. It's not just a concept. I actually looked this up in 2012. A study found that women in well fitting clothes had higher self esteem and satisfaction. The study didn't find that women in size 00 had higher self esteem and body satisfaction. It just said clothes that fit. Stop obsessing over a body you don't have anymore. This is your body and this body is a gift. So let's dress it up like the beautiful present it is and present it to the world. Okay, don't tell anybody, but we're trying to buy a new house. All right? We're trying to buy a new house. And not only are we trying to buy a new house, but we are buying a house that's like essentially my dream house. And it is my dream house because there is more fabulous outdoor space than even like I don't even pay attention to what's going on in the house because the outdoors is so much fun. And I actually just got back from a week long trauma therapy retreat because I believe that therapy is something we do during any part of our life where we feel like we need some extra support. And it just so happens that May is mental health awareness month, which is a really good reminder to check in with yourself and see if you might need a little extra support. The things that I struggled with in my early 20s are very different than the things I struggle with at 43 and they are no less valid than they were back when I was younger. In fact, I would say they're even more important to get a handle on because as I get older, I don't want to carry these things with me into my future. Having someone to listen to you, to understand and to support you in accessing tools that you will need can make all the difference. BetterHelp is the world's largest online therapy platform. If you want to glow up in the body you have upgrade your Lighting, not your body. Okay, seriously, what if it's not you? What if you have really bad lighting in your bathroom? Now, I'm a big fan of a club called Soho House. If you've never heard about it, it's a club. They have these clubs all over the world, and they're like hotels and restaurants, and it's like a private membership. You can go hang out. Here's the thing I can tell you about a Soho House. If you've never been. The lighting throughout a Soho House, but most especially in the bathroom makes you look like the best version of yourself. I guarantee they hired an expert to light these bathrooms in such a way that you go look in those mirrors and you're like, oh, my gosh, I am gorgeous. Now, if you're going to a place, or more specifically in their case, if you are paying for a club membership, and every single time you go to that club, you look in the mirror and you're like, I am amazing. Wow, look at my skin. This looks fabulous. How much more likely are you to have a positive opinion of that club and want to go back there? Because every time you do, you feel really good. The same can be said for the lighting in your bathroom. Wherever you are getting ready for your day, and whatever getting ready for your day looks like to you, there's no right way to look. There's just a way of looking that makes you feel great. So wherever you are getting ready for your day, what's going on with the lighting? If you have, like, LED lights and they're super harsh, or maybe you have lights in your bathroom that are more like, bluish white, swap them for some that are warm. Or use a ring light. Like, pretend you're an influencer and use a ring light when you do your makeup or do your hair, because something is going to happen to you. When you are looking in the mirror and it's more flattering lighting, you might be like, well, that's stupid. That's not what I look like to the rest of the world. Dude, listen to me right now. This is gonna blow your mind. The way you think you look is what you look like to the rest of the world. You could look wild, right? You could look slumpy and your hair's in a bun and you have no makeup on. And what if you think that you look super hot? I promise you, the confidence that exudes from your body will permeate everything around you. And people are going to look at you as the most confident person. And if you do not believe me, you don't live in la. I am telling you, you have never seen a group of people in their 20s who dress more sloppy, more gross, but with the total confidence of a beautiful 20 something in clothes that are five times too big. I see them and I'm like, oh, that must be like a designer sweatsuit. Just the way you're walking, the way you're carrying yourself, how you think you look is what other people pick up. It actually matters way less how you dress than how you feel in how you dress. So if you're doing your makeup, if you're doing your hair, if you're looking in a mirror, that's more flattering because we all know about the skinny mirror, right? Who cares if that's what you think you look like today, that's what you look like today. Change your lighting. Get a ring light. Do your hair and makeup next to natural light. Natural light's always going to look better on your skin than overhead lights. Flattering lighting is an act of kindness for yourself. Plus, you know, natural light increases serotonin and it improves your mood regulation. So you are literally seeing yourself in a better light. Upgrade your lighting. Third, hack. Glowing skin. Your skin is part of the outfit. If nobody told you putting on a beautiful outfit and having dry arms and hands, that that's not helping anybody. Glowing skin. Think about it like this. Have you ever. This is going to be a wild question, but I'm just. Just think about it. Have you ever had someone take a picture of you on the beach or by the pool? And for some reason, as much as you wouldn't normally want a photo of you taken by the beach or at the pool, you're like, oh, dang, like, my arms look really good or, well, my legs look kind of great in that. Like, there's something about your skin in those moments that you end up loving the photo because you're like, wow, it actually looks. Another example of this is like, I'm a runner. So pictures of me, like running marathons when it's hot, and let's say I'm just wearing a sports bra and some shorts. I'm like, wow, I look really good. What's the difference in those photos than in everyday life? Sunblock. Sunblock. Seriously. Sunblock tends to have moisturizing properties in it. So when you spray it on your skin or you rub it into your skin, it makes your skin glow. And then in the photos, your arms, your legs, your stomach, whatever, they look better because they are defined by this glowing skin. Girls, are you taking care of your Skin, if you don't already do this. I learned this trick from my big sister when I was like 11 years old. Every time you get out of the shower, every time you are going to moisturize your entire body. Every single time you want to pat yourself off with a towel, you want your skin to still be a little bit damp. And then when it's still a little bit damp, you want to use a great, rich moisturizing lotion on your whole body. I do something different on my face, but everything from my chin down, I use Josie Marin's whipped argon body oil. So it's oil, but it's been whipped. So it's like a lotion. I use unscented. They also have one that's called, like, Golden Hour, which smells really delicious if you want to check that out. But I've been using that body lotion for at least 10 years, and I like that one because it's really. It's thick but not sticky. And it's important that it's that rich because if you are putting on a lotion that's water based, it sort of just sits on your skin. It doesn't really soak in. And I live in la, which is a desert, so you really need extra hydration. When I go to Hawaii, where it's a lot more humid, I probably won't use Josie Marin. I end up using Bamford. You guys do not care about all of these details, but I change up my lotion based on what's happening in the atmosphere around me because dry skin is gross. It's gross. It doesn't feel good. So I moisturize every time I get out of the shower. And I also add body oil on the parts of my body that are most likely to get dry. So I add it on my arms and the lower half of my legs. We're moisturizing every time we get out of the shower, guys, we are hydrating. We are drinking at least half our body weight in ounces of water every single day. But we are taking care of our skin. And the really amazing side effect of taking care of your skin is it feels like a ritual. It feels like you're taking a moment to take care of yourself, and it sets the stage for the outfit that's going to come later. Even if you are changing back into your spanx leggings and the oversized shirt and, you know, your nursing bra, like, whatever you are doing that day, if you took the time to just fully moisturize your skin, you're gonna feel better.

Fourth Hack Posture. Posture is free. Posture is how you radiate confidence. Posture is at all times affecting how you feel. And if you don't believe me, do this experiment with me right now. Wherever you are, make your body into the shape that you would take on. When you feel discouraged or scared or sad, when you're really low or you're really disappointed or you're really scared or you're really anxious, you make the shape of your body. Now, what I do and what most everyone I know does in those feelings is their shoulders hunch forward. They make themselves smaller. They tend to cross their arms, their head goes down, they kind of roll into this protective state. Now, if I had you go into that state with your body and hold it for 10 minutes, it wouldn't even take that long before you started to feel your vibration change. Because physically, your body's doing something that your subconscious recognizes as something is wrong. And this is what happens to my body. Now do the opposite. If you are having the best day ever, if you are feeling like a million bucks, if you feel like you look amazing, you feel amazing, you. You are so confident. Do that with your body. So what happens then is our shoulders roll back, our head comes up, our chest comes up high, we stand tall and firm. We tend to make ourselves bigger. And because we take on that shape, it signals to our subconscious, oh, wow. Like, this is. This is what it feels like when I'm feeling good, right? This is what my body does when things are going well. There's that great old TED talk where she talks about the Wonder Woman pose that they found if people stood like Wonder Woman with their hands on their hips, that they saw this massive increase in their confidence levels. It's the easiest cheat in the world. And I think we all, unless you're a ballerina, wish we had amazing posture all of the time. Even if you're struggling to hold great posture throughout your day, just use this as a hack to feel more confident in the body you currently have. Hold the power pose for two minutes. Posture doesn't just change how other people see you. It also changes how you feel. Next hack. I'm laughing because the next few tips are like, they're so me. And I almost didn't put them in because I was like, these feel silly. But if you were sitting across from me and we were having coffee and you said, girl, I am trying to glow up. I'm trying to feel more confident. I'm trying to feel better. Girlfriend to girlfriend, sister to sister. Advice number five. Change your hair. Change your hair. Change your hair. Get color. It highlights, cut it off. Add extensions, get bangs. Shave it. If you're, you know, Britney in 2008, like, change your hair. I think it was Coco Chanel had this saying that a woman who has changed her hair is about to change her life, but it changes who you see in the mirror. And ideally, you are changing your hair in a way that coincides with who you want to become. Now, can I add a little note that is potentially controversial? If you are a new mom and you are struggling with being a new mom and you're feeling overwhelmed and it's feeling really hard, and you think, I need to change my hair in a way that simplifies my life. And so even though you've always loved your long hair and you've never considered getting short hair, maybe you buy into the myth that because you're a mom now, you need a mom haircut. Can I tell you, sister, that my greatest fear in life with a new hairstylist is that they will try and give me a mom haircut that doesn't exist anymore. It's not the 1950s. Just because you're a new mom doesn't mean you need to cut off your hair. And just because you're over 50 doesn't mean you need to cut off your hair. There is no age appropriate hairstyles that went out a decade ago. Now we just wear whatever hairstyle makes us feel great. And in the body we have and who we are right now, I Cut off my hair probably about a year ago, maybe more. I cut it off, like, super short to my chin because I thought, you know, I'd had hair extensions for a decade. I wanted to let my hair have a rest. I also just felt like I was going through this big life change, and I'm like, who am I now? I was, like, grappling with, like, what does this mean? And who am I? And so much of how we feel about ourselves tends to be wrapped up in our hair. So I took out the extensions and I cut my hair off. And it was cute. It was cute for a minute. And I felt like I should want to have that hair because I felt like, well, the evolved version of me doesn't need hair extensions. But you know what? I freaking love hair extensions. My hair is so thin and so fine, and even when I grow it out, if I don't have extensions in, it feels sort of stringy. So back, you know, like 12 years ago, when I got hair extensions for the first time, I felt like I had found a genie's lamp. I felt like I had found the cheat codes. I didn't know it was possible to have good hair. I didn't know that I could pay someone and they would put hair in my hair. That completely changed the way I looked at myself and completely changed the way everybody else looked at me, too. So if you need a refresh, change that hair, dude. Across every culture, hair marks identity. It is a sign of renewal. You know, think of, like, Samson in the Bible. Think of monks shaving their heads in Buddhism. Hair is you changing your energy. It's turning the page in the book. It's opening a new chapter. If you change it and you hate the way you changed your hair, it grows back. Or you can get a wig if it's really bad. But consider shaking things up now along the same lines. Number six, the hack for an instant glow up brows. Knowing how to do your eyebrows is, as far as I'm concerned, an instant facelift. If I can't do anything else, if I can't do my hair, if I have no makeup on, if I don't have lashes, if I just have my brows done, I feel like I can take on the world. Brows frame your whole face. And it's so often I see women walking down the street or I'll see them on YouTube or whatever, and I'm like, oh, my gosh. If you just knew how to do a brow, I think you'd be shocked at how much it changes everything about your face. Really really easily. It's like the cheapest non surgical facelift you could possibly have. Yeah. Learn how to do your eyebrows. I started with an eyebrow stencil. So Anastasia, which is a big eyebrow company, they literally make stencils. They send you a pack of stencils. There's like 10 of them. They come in different sizes, different lengths and you can go and watch a million YouTube videos about how to find the right one and you literally hold a stencil over your eyebrow and then fill it in. Now I can do it by hand, but that is how I learned. I used a stencil go if you can, to like a Sephora or an Ulta and get one of those very fabulous, very makeup filled people to help you find the right eyebrow pencil color. Because you could wear something darker, you could wear something that matches. You want to get that piece right and then rock your stencil. I'm telling you, it's a game changer. Next piece of advice, your nails. A manicure. Not only a manicure, but your signature manicure. I am convinced that everybody has a nail shape that is fantastic on their hands. And once you find it, I don't think you should change it. I see like beauty influencers on social media and they'll have like these beautiful almond shaped nails and then it'll be really trendy to get square nails again. And square nails do not work on everybody's fingers. In fact, I think they make some people's fingers look like sausages, including mine. So once you find your nail shape and you can experiment, what a fun process to experiment. Don't change it. So embrace the nail shape that you found. And this changes, by the way, in season. So right now I get manicures regularly, but I don't put any nail polish on. My nails are bare, they're very clean. They're hydrated with nail oil and hand lotion at all times. But I don't actually add anything to them because I'm in a season right now where I'm doing so many things around my house that the idea of having nails, like having nail polish or gel or even acrylics, which I think are so pretty, it just doesn't make sense for my life. Find a manicure that works for you and then every time you look down at your hands, you're like, yeah, I'm taking care of me. I think there is a huge majority of us who look at people's hands as a way to determine like who they are, how well they take care of themselves and when you see someone whose hands are a mess, you instantly think they're a mess too. Signal to yourself first that life's going okay. You don't have to go somewhere and have someone do your nails. Watch a YouTube video and do them yourself, but take care of your hands. My next hack, not for everybody, but I love it. I love an eyelash. I do. I love a eyelash extension. I love a lash lift. If you don't want extensions. I love a lash tint. If that's your thing. Even just getting, you know, those little clampy things and curling your lashes, if that's not something you currently do, just give it a little, that little like alligator thing and like clamp and like just open up your eyes. When my boys were little, there was a mom at school drop off named Virginia. And Virginia just had the prettiest eyelashes. And I didn't even know lash extensions were a thing. So one day I'm chatting with her, waiting for the kids to come out, and I'm like, you have the prett lashes. And she's like, oh, girl, I get these done in Pasadena. Like, she gave me the info of where she went and I got my first lash extensions. I love doing things in beauty that allow me to not wear makeup. And brows and lashes are those for me? So if you've never tried it, maybe you do. And if you don't have the ability to get lashes, there are individual lashes that you can add, there are strip lashes you can add. There's all sorts of things you can do. Maybe it's as simple as you have a great tube of mascara in your makeup drawer that you haven't used in two years. I know most people would tell you that you need to replace it, but I use all my makeup forever. Don't tell anybody. Maybe you just need to rock some mascara. So consider lashes as part of a glow up. Okay, last piece of advice. How to glow up in the body. You have the statement accessory. So one bold signature item that shifts focus from your body to your style. Now think about this. In every rom com you have probably ever seen, there is something that the leading lady assume that there's a leading lady in these movies. There is something the leading lady always has. It's like the oldest trick in the book. And if you've never noticed it, you will now. The leading lady always has a signature something. It is the necklace that she wears in every scene in the movie. It's usually a necklace. It's maybe the earrings. They have a signature piece of jewelry that they always wear throughout the movie. And it says something to you about who that character is. I think that all of us should have our version of that. If you have ever seen me online or you have hung out with me, what is my statement jewelry? I am assuming that the vast majority of you just said the two necklaces I never take off. I have two gold necklaces that I always wear. One is the All Seeing eye and the second one is my name. The first one I bought for myself. The second one my husband bought for me. I never take them off my body. They are my signature pieces. I also love a big watch. That's something I'm known for for several years. I had a stack of bracelets on my left wrist that I never took off. But in different seasons of life, I have always had statement jewelry. And I think there's something really cool about that because it's you deciding who you are now. You don't have to go out and buy anything. Maybe your statement accessory is already in your closet right now and you just need to try it and see, like, oh, am I the person? Am I always going to wear this silver bracelet? Am I always going to be the person with the cool watch? Am I always going to be the person who rocks the ball cap? It doesn't matter what it is, but decide on a few pieces that are always going to make you feel great so that you can access them whenever you need them. There's something in psychology called enclosed cognition, and it shows that clothing and accessories change our self perception. When we put on certain pieces from our closet, it changes the way we see ourselves. So if you want to embody a new Persona, if you want to embrace and have confidence in the body you've got right now, this can be the easiest way to get there. Look, your body might have changed. And I feel really confident in telling you this because it's not just me trying to hype you up. There's also science to back this up, that your confidence can change way faster than your body can. Meaning yes, work on yourself. Do things that make you feel great. Do things that change your body in the direction that you want to go. But you can change the way you feel about your body way before you actually change your body. And the weirdest thing happens with Law of Attraction and manifesting. When you feel great about the body you have, I swear to you, your body changes for the better way quicker. All right, guys, I hope this episode was helpful or it made you giggle or you got something out of it that you can Take out into your day.
