Happy day. Welcome back everyone to the podcast. Last one of the year I believe.
Tim
Last new one.
Chyna See
Oh yeah. I'm Chyna See China and I am.
Tim
The new head writer for Bluey and this is the read. Thanks for coming back.
Chyna See
Thank you for coming back. Welcome end of the year feelings. Anything to give to the wellness check.
Tim
Well, I'm doing fine. It's been a, it's been a pretty good year for me, a challenging one in a lot of ways and you know, dealing with a lot of stuff but feeling like I'm in a, in a good place to close out the year. Looking forward to taking a little time to really just focus on me though and pour into to me and you know, sort of nurture that kind of really necessary self care. But I'm just obsessed with this dog. She's fucking moonwalking now. She got up on her I have to send you this video. She got up on her damn hind legs and walked backwards begging for some of my dinner the other day. I could not believe what she thinks. She's Michael Jackson. Look at this. I'm going to show you. You're going to be so mad. Like watch.
Chyna See
She literally, yes, just did a moon.
Tim
Got on her hind legs and moonwalked because she wanted some fucking carrots that are seasoned with.
Chyna See
I would have gave it to her.
Tim
She could. No, absolutely not. It's onion and garlic all in this. You can't have none. You are too little for mommy to be playing them games.
Chyna See
She should have gotten something for that.
Tim
No, you know what? She got her damn chicken and rice that she was supposed to be eating. That's what she got.
Chyna See
Yeah, that's what. I mean. You have to get some sort of reward for that talent.
Tim
No, the chicken. And she got her regular dinner, but I. She. And she got a good laugh. I mean, I cackled mightily at that, so.
Chyna See
That's hilarious.
Tim
Tim, you raising her is so fun. I'm having a ball with her, and every time somebody's like, oh, my God, the joy she brings you. It's so good to see you, like, light up and all this, so.
Chyna See
Oh, great.
Tim
I'm happy other people can see the shift that raising Laney has brought into my life. She's really.
Chyna See
It's pretty apparent.
Tim
It just is. So. I just cannot imagine not having her. I just can't even imagine it. Like, you could offer me five.
Chyna See
I mean, you just didn't have her.
Tim
So you're just fine. But still. No, even. That's like, what was I doing with my life before October? It don't even make sense, so.
Chyna See
It really does. I get it. It's like, if I didn't have Link, it would be, like. So then it would just be mean. It just.
Tim
Yeah. No. We don't need to go back to. We don't need to go back to me living alone at all. I'm already plotting on the next dog. I'm already plotting on Parker because I just know Laney would be a great sister. Oh, are you?
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Does Link get along well with other.
Chyna See
So here's the thing.
Tim
Okay. Okay.
Chyna See
We're gonna just have a period of intense. This is happening.
Tim
Oh, wow.
Chyna See
Wow. With her. Like, I think that when she realizes that the dog is staying in her house.
Tim
This isn't optional.
Chyna See
It's gonna be. It's going to be interesting because Link gets along well with other dogs as long as they understand that she is the leader. Hello, I'm Beyonce Knowles. Be. Y'all pick, pick whatever you. I don't care. Whoever you want to be. But as long as you girls know who I am and act accordingly, I think we'll all get along well here. Okay. Okay. So I think it's probably going to be a period of int. That I'm gonna have to curb on Link's part.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
But then once she kind of gets into it, I think she's gonna have a ball.
Tim
Okay.
Chyna See
She loves playing, and she really does love interacting with other dogs. She's just bossy.
Tim
She needs to establish dominance first. I see. I see.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Whereas Lainey Laney is everybody's homegirl. The other day, she tried to free one of her niggas when I was picking her up from daycare. She tried to free another one of her little homegirls. I say you cannot. Like, your little friends from school cannot come home without us. They cannot. So.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Oh, okay. Well, how are you?
Chyna See
Oh, my goodness. When you have a human child, so many of this is gonna. So much of this is just gonna. You're gonna be prepared. You're gonna go pick your kid up from after school or whatever, and she'll be like, oh, yeah, Michelle's coming too, because we're gonna do coloring and you. But no, no, no.
Tim
You.
Chyna See
You see how Michelle is not your sister and my child. I haven't spoken to Michelle's mama.
Tim
Right.
Chyna See
Michelle hasn't spoken to her mama. That's not how this works.
Tim
You and Michelle came up with a plan. Like, y'all had jobs, cars, houses.
Chyna See
No.
Tim
No autonomy. You don't. You don't have any of those things.
Chyna See
First, I'd have to meet Michelle's mother.
Tim
I might need to meet Michelle. Do I even know Michelle?
Chyna See
I don't even know who the fuck Michelle is. She could be any one of these bitches. Like, I don't know.
Tim
Yeah. Oh, well, you know, to be honest. Yeah. She's just. When I tell you, delightful in every way, she makes me so happy.
Chyna See
Yeah. Link helped me out in the. This past week when I was super, super sad. You know, I'm climbing out of it. She gave me the cuddles.
Tim
Oh, yeah.
Chyna See
She gave me.
Tim
Lainey's so good at that.
Chyna See
Because Link now is, like. She used to be hip. Like, hip. She still follows me around the apartment if I'm busy, if I'm doing anything around, she's right behind me, like. But when I'm, like, relaxing, if we're not playing, she'll probably, like, come kick it. Willy me for a little bit. And she's like, all right, I'm over you. Then she'll go, like, chill somewhere else. Come pop back in. But this week, she was just like, I'm going to curl up on your chest and a little circle.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
And this is where I'm gonna sleep today. And we just had like, a nice little cuddle, and I was just like, oh, I don't know why you're being so affectionate today, but thank you.
Tim
Yeah, that's so sweet.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Lainey is the other way now. She's like, I would say, like, 75% of the time. She's very much like a strong, independent puppy who don't need no mommy. But the more time, you know, that we live together, the more she's like, okay, I guess I like you. I guess I'll come snuggle up near you. I suppose it's not so terrible, but. Yeah.
Chyna See
Because at her age, she's probably still just, like, figuring out what, like, girl.
Tim
I just got here. I just got here. What do you want from me?
Chyna See
What she knows is I want to be outside and I want food. And. Yep, you're providing those things on a regular basis. So it's really only going to take probably a couple more months for her to be like, oh, this is my mother. You know, probably already she's just deciding whether or not she likes you because.
Tim
Her reaction to me is different from her reaction to everybody else. But she just. Oh, man, this fucking dog.
Chyna See
Like, she. Every dog also, I was like, they all have different personalities, even matching breeds a lot of times. Like, you know, like, some dogs have different vibes and personalities. Not so much like cats, but still, like. Cause cats can be like, one day they're, you know, super, super loving. Another day, like, if you come anywhere near me, yeah, I'm gonna fuck you up. Dogs are almost always just like, I love you. But sometimes they're like, I love you, but from over here.
Tim
Well, she always wants to be held. She always. If somebody's going to let her lick them. Absolutely. Always down for that. Like, always ready to just put her tongue right up somebody's nose. She don't care that type of shit. But, like, if I'm laying down, is she gonna come lay down? Like, no, you're being old and boring. I'm finna go.
Chyna See
We're kind of salty.
Tim
Are we? Is that it? Well. Cause she. I have to just constantly twist and turn my neck to keep my lips away from her tongue. Because she will, if you let her, she will absolutely French you.
Chyna See
So, yeah, you have to train em.
Tim
I said, yeah, yeah. Where. Where is it says, Link still gets real close.
Chyna See
Link still gets real close. She'll just, like every now and then, she'll just be like, hey, what did you been eating today? Wait.
Tim
Oh, yeah.
Chyna See
Okay, let me smell past the weed. Like, she. You know what I mean? But she won't lick me.
Tim
Lainey is so bad about this. She will get right up at your mouth. Like, I smell potatoes.
Chyna See
And now I'm Just gonna take a quick taste.
Tim
Oh, dogs are great.
Chyna See
I love them.
Tim
Dogs are great.
Chyna See
Yeah. Pets are awesome.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
Well, let's get into some black excellence today. I have some ones that are really fun for me.
Tim
Okay. Festive.
Chyna See
I'm giving black excellence today to one of my faves, Tatiana Gabrielle Hobson, also known as Tati Gabrielle. She's an actor who's been in things such as the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She's where I believe I was introduced. She's been on you, that show on Netflix about the crazy man killing everybody and loads of other stuff. But this week I'm talking about her because she's starring in a brand new video game by Naughty Dog Productions. Creators of things like Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted, and the Last of Us. Very popular games. The Last of Us is now a critically acclaimed HBO series starring Pedro Pascal because it deserves. Because the Last of Us is a fantastic, wonderful written game, and it also happens to look and play really well and be all cinematic. Now, Naughty Dog has a whole bunch of money and they're making a sci fi project and it's starring Tati Gabrielle. Actually, I'm about to send you the trailer for it. So you can just look at it as I'm talking. Because first of all, Tati is just absolutely stunning.
Tim
I just googled her.
Chyna See
Very pretty in this movie. I mean, in this game, it seems like she's gonna be playing a bounty hunter. And I've heard that it's inspired by Acheron, Cowboy, Bebop, and other classics. And the thing about Naughty Dog's games is, again, they're very. It's pretty much like playing a movie the way that they do motion capture, sound design, move, all of these different things. And they kind of don't miss. Gameplay wise, they kind of haven't missed for a while. Storytelling wise, they kind of haven't missed. So I already trust them. Having a black female lead in this new game is so exciting for me. And then B, it being a face that I recognize is exciting. I just can't wait to play. I'm so excited. Black girls and games are the fuck up. And I have more to say about that in the read section coming later. So for now, congratulations, Tati. I can't wait to play this. I hope they don't make us wait forever. It's probably a ways out, but I'm hyped.
Tim
Yeah, for sure.
Chyna See
Do you see the trailer? I just want. Yes. I want to know what you think of what she looks like in the trailer. Because the girl.
Tim
Oh, like A dyke, they're assuming. Okay. I'm like, is that what we were supposed to be going for here? Okay. Work.
Chyna See
But.
Tim
Okay. Yeah, that's. That's nice.
Chyna See
You're muted. Oh, wait, hold on.
Tim
I can't hear you anymore.
Chyna See
Maybe I shouldn't have sent you the video yet. There you are.
Tim
Yeah, there you are. Okay, well, I won't be trying to click any more videos, but yeah, I like that. That's nice. She. I mean, from the few seconds I saw before I had to close it out, she looks like a lesbian.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Okay. Fun.
Chyna See
That's what they're thinking.
Tim
Great.
Chyna See
Anyway, congratulations. That's awesome. I can't wait. Also, speaking of black women and nerdy shit, I just wanted to say shout out to the one, the only, the sexy, the talented, the legendary, the ever effervescent. I fucked up. I don't know. I just kept saying words and I should. Was just.
Tim
Effervescent is a good one, I guess, depending on who you're talking about.
Chyna See
Natasha Rothwell.
Tim
Oh, yeah, sure, that works.
Chyna See
She's coming at. She's gonna be in the new Sonic movie. It's coming out and I know that's right now.
Tim
That's Natasha. Keep a check, stay booked. Rothwell work.
Chyna See
She's been in all of the Sonic live action Sonic movies as the character Rachel, who is Tika Sumter's sister's like the lead alongside what's his name, James Marston. Whatever. Natasha Rothwell has been in all of the movies. I watched the second one last week because I was like, okay. The third one has Shadow the Hedgehog in it. Everybody keeps talking about it. Let me. I guess just watch the second one so in case I want to watch this one and Natasha was in it and I'll just say that she stole the show for me.
Tim
Nice.
Chyna See
In a film where she's like a side character, sort of. It's a Sonic the Hedgehog movie that now has Sonic Tails and Knuckles in it and Jim Carrey. And somehow my favorite moments of this movie were still what Natasha Rothwell did in a sub subplot alongside Shemar Moore. And I probably will unpack more of that later in the read as well. But I just wanted to say, madam, unsurprisingly, you once again did your big one when it comes to acting, emoting, performance, emotion, comedy, and all of the things. And Shadow the Hedgehog will probably be cool in this third one, but I think I'm definitely most excited to see what you're gonna do.
Tim
Hi, Prince.
Chyna See
There's that Congrats. And that's it for my black excellence. Nerdy black ladies or black ladies and nerdy things.
Tim
Hooty hoo. Wonderful.
Chyna See
Okay, so let's get into this week's Hot tops, which we call I'm pecking your dad in the back of the bus.
Tim
Nope, nope.
Chyna See
You are a trolling like three Six Mafia. I love that song. You know the song I'm talking about, Peggy?
Tim
I think I do. With the. With the Chyna. Please have messy.
Chyna See
You don't get paid to the end of the week, huh?
Tim
With Ennit thee Stallion.
Chyna See
Ennit the Stallion. What is wrong with you?
Tim
Am I wrong? Isn't that her? The British rapper girl? She kind of thick like me in it.
Chyna See
The Stallion.
Tim
Ain't that what everybody call her? I don't know her real name. Sorry. I don't know her stage name. I mean her musician name. Her rap name. Let me see in it. The Stallion real name.
Chyna See
Sea China. Oh, C. China.
Tim
Is it really C. China?
Chyna See
I think it's C. China.
Tim
How you spelling C?
Chyna See
E, E China.
Tim
Oh, oh, oh. In two ways.
Chyna See
Did I just say China?
Tim
Oh, yeah. That is her in Stallion getting paid.
Chyna See
To the end of the week.
Tim
See, China. Okay.
Chyna See
All her music for me has banged. She makes like Dom rap. Like dominatrix rap.
Tim
That's right.
Chyna See
Like, she just is like, I shit on niggas. And that's pretty much the song I.
Tim
Would love for her. And make the ling.
Chyna See
She has such like. Her. Her accent is like. I don't know from what part she. She's in, but she is like really like, fake pronounced accent. And so it just sounds fire on these. I'm in the back of the car with your daddy and he's tucking and puffing a peck. It's just like.
Tim
It's so fire. Wonderful accent.
Chyna See
Oh, girl, please don't go on baddies. Please don't go on baddies. I know they probably have already called you. We all know that Natalie and that face is gonna make their way over to the UK at some point to fuck around. Please do not. Auditions. Fine. Host the auditions or judge or whatever the fuck that's just called. Please do not go on baddies. Girl, please. Thank you. Okay. I don't really give a fuck about this shit. What happened? Apparently, Young Thug doesn't have to wait a full 10 years before he can go to Atlanta.
Tim
Oh, good. Because he wasn't going to make it.
Chyna See
He was.
Tim
He was not going to make it.
Chyna See
Going to make it. So that's good. Apparently his legal team filed A motion for him to be allowed to visit his family for the holidays. The judge issued an order to allow him to visit his Atlanta home starting October 31 of 27. 2027. Provided there are no probation violations between now and then. Okay. Still, his visits are limited to two times a week at a time for up to four times a year. And you must notify probation at least five days before each visit. Okay, so it's still pretty. Yeah, strict structured and strict, but it's better than having to wait a full decade before you touch the city limits at all.
Tim
So the judge said, if you don't play with me, then in three years, you can go see your mama. I mean, it do be like that, but. Yeah, I mean, so. Well, provided you have no parole violations, though, a lot can happen in a few years is.
Chyna See
Yeah, between now and Halloween, two years from now.
Tim
Yeah, a lot. I'm just saying that a lot can go down, really.
Chyna See
So, baby, when I tell you I'll be booking a stay at the White Lotus, I'm out. Like, bitch, I'm out.
Tim
Yeah, you escaped a rico. You can't be playing no more risky games. I wouldn't even be in Georgia. Can he go? Wait, is it just Atlanta or all of Georgia that he can't go to?
Chyna See
It's Atlanta.
Tim
Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah, so this ought to be fine. Just, you know, find something else to do until this kick in. Because, I mean that it would be terrible for you to have to be separated from everybody else during the holidays, which, I mean, I mean, that's now, actually. Well, unless you paying for the whole family to come out there to wherever you are.
Chyna See
That's what I was saying. Like, get someplace out on the outskirts and pay niggas to come visit you.
Tim
Or, I mean, hell, they can just drive. If you don't live out of state, you can just living, I'm saying, Kanye's or something, and have niggas drive out there. You'll be fine. It's fine.
Chyna See
That's what I'm assuming.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
But then again, if it is likely that that probation gets violated out in county. You know what I mean? You might actually need to just stay far away from everybody.
Tim
Louisiana. Yeah. Oh, no, then LA won't. You got to go to Portland or something.
Chyna See
Agree. That's right.
Tim
You gotta go. You gotta go to Seattle. A Green Bay. You need to go to Butte. See what they talking about in Butte.
Chyna See
Somebody threw glass at Jamie Foxx.
Tim
Yikes.
Chyna See
So apparently Jamie Foxx. Apparently Jamie Foxx was eating at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills because you're rich. It was his birthday, apparently, and someone threw a glass at him, causing him to get cut and require stitches. They hit him in the mouth. Someone from a different table threw it at him. The police were called and deemed the incident a physical altercation between parties. Nobody was arrested. Apparently he's fine.
Tim
Well, what the hell was. Was the beef about? Why would you throw a glass at Jamie Foxx?
Chyna See
I have no living idea.
Tim
Okay.
Chyna See
Because I know they said there are details right here.
Tim
The man just got his, like, nervous system back. Right? Wasn't he, like, recovering from.
Chyna See
Yeah, he was pretty fucked up. And he just. They just dropped a Netflix special where he.
Tim
Oh, I haven't seen that. Have you?
Chyna See
No, not yet, but it's on my watch list. I'm going to watch it. Jamie got upset during the night out. From a private party in the upstairs area, pointed a laser. Oh. Someone from a private party in the upstairs VIP area pointed a laser at his table, projecting the image of a penis.
Tim
Y'all have got the groom.
Chyna See
We're told Jamie was particularly upset because his kids were at the table.
Tim
Yes.
Chyna See
And he felt the image was disturbing.
Tim
Yes.
Chyna See
So he walked upstairs to the room and asked the folks up there to cut it out, making it clear he didn't find it funny, I should say. The room was rented out Friday night by Dick House Productions, which is owned by Johnny. Owned and operated by Johnny Knoxville.
Tim
Oh, God.
Chyna See
Jeff Tremaine and Spike Johns of Jackass Grow Up. We're told none of the stars were at the party. Instead, the group included crew members from the production company. One person who was at Jamie's party tells TMZ, Jamie had about 50 people at his table, and it was a serious affair. Wow. Celebrating his second chance at life after his stroke.
Tim
Wow.
Chyna See
So the folks at the holiday party in the VIP room sent Jamie a drink earlier in the evening, which he accepted, but didn't drink. He's not consuming alcohol. And the waiter later told Jamie they were waving at you wave back. And pointed him at the VIP section where 12 guys are trying to get his attention. Jamie guests say the table was confused by the folks from the party laughing during this exchange until they noticed the penis shaped laser beaming down on their table. The stunt triggered Jamie, we're told, in front of my daughter, as he explained, went up there. Things escalated. Told a Jackass Forever crew member allegedly threw a thick drinking glass, which ended up hitting Jamie in the face and cutting his mouth.
Tim
Wow. Y'all got a lot of.
Chyna See
Source connects to the crew, says Jamie had backup with him when he went upstairs. And there was a tense and at times physical standoff between parties. Jamie left the private party, continued being aggressive with his friends. So it sounds like some motherfuckers from the production crew for Jackass or whoever is affiliated with them were being jackass asses at a nice restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Tim
White boys trying to be funny up your birthday. Yikes. H. Okay, so then I. And so now my only question is why he didn't press charges. Cuz, if you threw a glass that cut my lip and it required stitches, I'm absolutely having the law come prosecute you to the fullest extent. Cuz, you could have just left me alone. Send the drink. Love your work. And that's the end of it. Fucking with me. Projecting a penis onto the table. Like you don't see 50 niggas here for my fucking birthday. Yeah, I let the law deal with y'all.
Chyna See
I don't know why at least 25 of those niggas didn't pack that whole section out.
Tim
Cause then it would have been so much worse. Yeah, but ain't Jamie's kids all biracial too? It's probably a bunch of white folks there. And other.
Chyna See
I have no idea what his kids look like.
Tim
I'm not even sure that table was mostly niggas. It might not have been so. But regardless, y'all played too many fucking games with this man who had some serious health issues earlier this year or last year. And it's probably just grateful to be alive. Like, don't. Don't fuck with me at my fucking birthday dinner, girl.
Chyna See
Or at all.
Tim
The white woman in me would come out real quick. Excuse me, officer. Right there. Those guys right there. Him and him in the hat.
Chyna See
Yep, 1,000%.
Tim
I absolutely would. Don't fuck with me.
Chyna See
Oh, Sha'carri Richardson's on the COVID of Essence. She looks stunning.
Tim
Oh, she does. So pretty. I just saw that.
Chyna See

Chyna See
I think you were right.
Tim
Wait, about what?
Chyna See
I think they're gonna get back together.
Tim
Oh come on. I hope not.
Chyna See
I think. I think so.
Tim
Probably because they still doing all this back and forth. You was begging for my pussy? Yeah, you let me have it. I'm gonna tell everybody all you care about is dig. I tell everybody you like your ass play with like.
Chyna See
Okay, I ain't see all that.
Tim
Well I'm paraphrasing cause okay all I.
Chyna See
Saw was a clip that somebody posted on X. I guess I'll just call it that now since I'm not using it. Offset Stalking Cardi B at the club she was paid to be at isn't surprising to me. It's honestly some shit he would do. But I love that she's unbothered and showing him what he lost. And it's a video of her intersection throwing that ass in a circle with literally an arrow graphic someone placed in the video to indicate which one of these niggas nearby the section is Offset. Okay, so okay then Offset posts a photo on on X Twitter. X Twitter Zitter oh like X Twitter because like it's not.
Tim
Oh, X says informally, oh, I get it. Very clever. Oh, he deleted a lot. Because I logged into Twitter earlier to see this, to check the tweets myself, and it was a lot more here. And I'm logged in again, and most of that shit is gone.
Chyna See
All I see is a photo of her. I can't tell if it's the same dress, but whatever. It's a photo of her in a dress, makeup, all that stuff. And he's like, I took this, but I was stalking how I follow a motherfucker to a party. Cardi tweets, groupie group ass out. Group out ass with the ninja emoji, because I guess that's the new nigga.
Tim
Sure.
Chyna See
Then she went on Twitter spaces and, you know, went on a rant about, she's doing her. Let her hoe in peace. And Offset responded by saying, you're mad groupy. It's a whole video you had me take. Stop lying for these strangers, twin. I can no longer look the way you got me looking for these people. We got two little girls, and he's saying, online, you and ho season. That's all I saw.
Tim
I mean, she is, but it was.
Chyna See
More than I know.
Tim
The mother of three of your children, both of y'all really, y'all just going back and forth. I could have swore. Cardi said she was in therapy. Didn't she say that? Didn't she say how her therapist was, like, really trying to care? I do. I remember because I was so proud of her. But why are we involved? Because it was a lot of allegations. Well, so what I saw that Offset has apparently deleted was a lot of, like, all you care about is dick, and everybody know dick is the only thing on your mind. You'll fuck anybody, blah, blah, blah. All this and then just thousands of comments being like, not this coming from a serial ho. Not this coming from, you know, the original cheater and all that type of shit. And then Cardi, I don't know, trying to not even really defend herself, but just really honestly being a Bronx ass bird, talking about how niggas prefer to date ugly girls, or men say they prefer ugly girls because ugly girls put up with more bullshit, and a pretty ass boss ass bitch won't let you get away with that. And so then when people very rightly pointed out that Cardi is a pretty ass boss bitch who let niggas get away with all kind of shit, she was like, yeah, the point is, though, that n still want me. And, you know, I'm not saying I'm a perfect 10. But, you know, I do have a pretty face, cute body, little tiny doll feet. Smell good. Pussy so, so tight. Never smell like blood even, right? And so I was just like, okay, so this. Honestly, when you start getting that deep into bird shit, that's when I have to clock right on that. Because now you sounding like Nicky. That is the exact same thing Nicki Minaj just did earlier this year about Megan thee stallion, who I thought she was cool with. So I just don't understand. How did you, like, learn nothing from that? Are you still proud of what? Do you wear, like a six and a half shoe or something? Are you proud of that? For some reason, that whole little feet thing was so weird. Like, you think it's some sort of virtue or positive attribute. It's morally neutral. It's just the size of your foot. Who told you bitches that it mattered? I don't get it. I really don't. I really don't understand the. I have little feet. I don't. Who cares? You're also five feet tall.
Chyna See
Feet have absolutely nothing to do with attraction for me. Like, nowhere near it.
Tim
Same, same, same.
Chyna See
So I. I'm not. I never acknowledge a motherfucker. Like, I. You know what I mean?
Tim
Like, I don't care about.
Chyna See
I mean, if they're toe up and busted, I'm going to acknowledge, but they.
Tim
Have to be terrible for me to even notice that.
Chyna See
You know, I mean, it's not like. But then. But. And then that's. That's maintenance. It's not. So. But women are different. Like, yes.
Tim
Because Lord knows y'all act like women are committing a crime if they go outside with no toenail polish on. Like, damn, I can't just, like, my natural toenail. I got to have these on.
Chyna See
But then it's like, if it's a certain color, that means this. What? Yeah, but you just like that color.
Tim
So listen, the shit that these girls be going through that they claim this.
Chyna See
Is why I like China.
Tim
Oh, in it, the stallion. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chyna See
I just. That is diabolical that you said that. That anybody said that.
Tim
I did not come up with that. It's just very fitting.
Chyna See
That is hilarious.
Tim
Great.
Chyna See
Yeah. I'm packing that man in the back.
Tim
Of the puppies, which, you know, that shit that the girls really do be doing. I've heard too many stories.
Chyna See
I'm gonna fill up his nose with.
Tim
Dust from too many women. But, yeah, Cardi and Offset, I would love to be removed from this narrative. Like, you can just text each other or Communicate through your lawyer even better.
Chyna See
They are, but. They are.
Tim
But see, they are.
Chyna See
And so then that bleeds over into the public eye.
Tim
It don't happen.
Chyna See
And then they scramble to, like, be like, oh, but. Well, actually, because.
Tim
Oh, child. Mm. Mm. I don't wanna hear it. Offset is honestly the exact nigga I thought he was. Cardi is even more burned than I thought she was. Was.
Chyna See
We are in the major majority of the people that they're dealing with when it comes to, like, responses to things that they do.
Tim
Oh. Being over it. Oh. Oh, I see.
Chyna See
We don't care. You know what I mean? We don't respond to, you know, but there are many people that are probably constantly policing every single thing that they do. Like, folks with celebrity. So, you know, I guess it's easy for us to be like, what? Can you just have your baby? Parent drama privately? Because I feel like it would be better for everybody involved. But I think the vast majority of people who interact with them online want to see it and then tear them apart about it. So it's like, right?
Tim
They want to see it. They want to see it for a distraction from their own shitty, boring, unfulfilling lives. You don't have to feed. That is all I'm saying.
Chyna See
That's why Natalie Nunn is rich.
Tim
And when you don't. When you truly don't give a fuck how other people perceive you and you're confident in your choices and not invested in what the Internet is saying about you, you will have a completely different life. One that is, you know, far more peaceful. But if this. I'm not surprised that two young dirty are acting like. Well, not even young. Because ain't both of y'all pushing 30 if you're not already there? So not even.
Chyna See
I think cardi's almost 30 right now. Yeah.
Tim
I'm not surprised. Two hood rats, just two ghetto birds. I'm just not shocked that y'all are behaving this way. But both of y'all could stand to grow the up, just like whoever.
Chyna See
I'm also not offended.
Tim
Party offended, no. Why am I. Why am I witnessing this? Yes. But not offended. I just thought that was. I thought Cardi's remarks in particular were stupid as hell. Offset was stupid. Yeah.
Chyna See
I didn't hear about all of that. And I also don't know what that has to do with the fuck of anything.
Tim
Nobody knows, you know? Nobody knows. Cause if it's like, oh, well, it's not about niggas. I'm a boss bitch, and I do this And I do that like. Okay, so then how come you talk about. About not smelling like blood on your period and your pussy being tight? Who is that for if not niggas? And what do you mean you don't smell like blood? You mean when you walk in a room, people don't smell the menstruation on you? I would hope not. What are you talking about? I don't even understand. I just. Oh, okay. Cardi, she really. She lost a lot of points for me with that one. She's just, you know, weirder than I thought she was.
Chyna See
Yeah. Oh, well, a wise woman actually once said something that really touched me. Not that long ago. She said, I can't even get it out.
Tim
That's what you get. That's what you get. That's what you get. This whole setup. Damn shame. Just look at them.
Chyna See
I walk these men like a dog. So I go to work for making my.
Tim
You still on Sachina?
Chyna See
She's like, I just listen. We've talked about my obsession with rat women when they dedicate records to fuck these niggas. And I dare wanted them to say anything.
Tim
That is your favorite. That is your favorite kind of rap.
Chyna See
I just love it. But she also has a sense of humor. She's very sexy. She's very, like, pro femme and, like, very open with her body in this video. This goddamn bikini top is fighting for it. It's cutting off circulation.
Tim
Oh, yeah.
Chyna See
And she's just like, no, no. And I dare you, bitch. I. I'm pegging that man at the back of the bus.
Tim
You love that song.
Chyna See
Outstanding. Did anything else happen? What the fuck? Yes. Are they. Oh, Remy Mah Papoose got into it. I don't really care about that.
Tim
Oh, boy. This was a lot of. This was actually a lot like the cardi and offset thing. Honestly, a lot of Brooklyn.
Chyna See
I think I was from Brooklyn.
Tim
A lot of you did this. Ah, well, you did this. Why you acting like I've been doing it? You act like I'm cheating on you. Whole time you was posed up with another. And yes, I smacked him because he looked me dead in my eyes and shook my hand knowing he was my wife. It's like, oh, okay. So everybody, I guess tis the season to break up and. And have that breakdown.
Chyna See
Tell us about it.
Tim
See, it's not age because pap and Remy are in their damn 40s. It's not age, it's maturity.
Chyna See
Yeah, yeah.
Tim
Yikes.
Chyna See
Yeah. Apparently the nigga that papoose has been dating as a boxer, and she said you know, we can fight.
Tim
Oh, yeah, that Clarissa Shields girl. Yeah, I wouldn't play with her. I wouldn't. I wouldn't play with her. But also, ma'am, if you think Remy is showing up with fists to fight you, that's not.
Chyna See
She's going back.
Tim
That's not happening either. But that girl has a movie coming out about her ascent to boxer stardom. I just saw the trailer for it on TV yesterday, so I was like, wow, the timing of this all papoose with this girl who has a motion picture coming out in theaters, I think later this month, if not next month.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
But I actually, you know, I was low key. I haven't seen any updates since then. But when Papoose was like, don't play like I left you knowing good damn well you was this other. And had him smiling in my face. And yes, that's why I smacked him. I was like, oh, well, I can't actually, he. Because he literally. He said, I didn't. I didn't punch that nigga because he fucked you. I punched him because he shook my hand and fucked you. Yeah, I mean, I can't argue with that, girl. A man got to stand on something. A man got to believe in something.
Chyna See
I mean, there's got to be a lot.
Tim
That's very valid. So, yeah, everybody. Everybody finds something else to do to grown for this.
Chyna See
Chris Brown sold out the largest stadium in Africa two nights in a row.
Tim
Oh, wow.
Chyna See
FNB Stadium in Johannesburg seats around 94,000. It would be. Johannesburg was able to pack it out.
Tim
It would be.
Chyna See
Sold it out. Yeah. Two nights in a row. South Africa, huh?
Tim
Well, there you go.
Chyna See
That's something.
Tim
It's pretty keeping it positive, I keep hearing.
Chyna See
Chris Brown, street justice. American vigilante hero of the.
Tim
Of the streets, a mediator for niggas jumping in to solve niggardly disputes without resorting to violence. You know, he's only had one case, but that one case went well. And yeah, I guess y'all. Y'all just insist on letting him have a career. So what. What can I do? What can I do? There's so many artists that I just don't fuck with, and I just have to let y'all have that. It ain't no amount of talking that's gonna change y'all mind about that.
Chyna See
Yeah, 97,000 of them.
Tim
Two nights in a row or just two night. It don't matter. It don't even matter in a row. Yeah. Wow. Well, good for him, I guess. Good for the. His children who deserve this money lawyer.
Chyna See
Tony Busby, is suing ROC Nation after Jay Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, vowed to get justice for Jay Z after his recent lawsuit accusing him of sexual misconduct. They've called the lawsuit baseless and defamatory and Alex has expressed that he is incredibly confident and will be dismissed. Since then, the other attorney in Houston, Tony Busby, has filed a lawsuit suing ROC Nation. For what? Violation of various state laws, including baratry and impersonation of a public official. The case was brought on behalf of a former client of the firm who was legally solicited by agents working on behalf of the defendants. These agents pretended to work for the state of Texas and offered the former client money to sue the Busby law firm. Oh, this legal conduct has happened more than two dozen times today and has resulted in two utterly frivolous cases against the firm. I have no idea what they're talking about. I'm not going to hold you.
Tim
Well, it looks like that. What it seems like to me is three white men showed up and offered one of this Busby guy's clients money to sue the firm, basically. And so I guess they're saying that, I don't know. This is abusive and egregious. I don't. I don't know. So I mean, that's what I have gathered from what I saw about this earlier. And then I saw that Jay Z's attorney had just filed another. I don't even know if it's a.
Chyna See
No.
Tim
A motion to have all of the evidence in the case preserved. That they are. Yeah. That they're concerned that this attorney will destroy some of the relevant evidence. I don't know, but I was. Did you see that video of the woman talking to NBC News, the accuser?
Chyna See
No.
Tim
Jesus Christ. So she's in shadow. So still anonymous. But I'm saying this as tenderly and with as much care and consideration as possible. She sounds like she might have an intellectual disability. I know that they called her autistic, but there is a lot in even the video of NBC News with her interview with NBC News that doesn't make sense. Like she says a friend drove her to the VMAs and then her dad had to drive like from Rochester to come get her. And I think we talked about that, how that was like a five hour drive. And so her daddy was like, yeah, I have no recollection of this ever happening. Of ever. You know, I feel like I would remember if I had to go to Manhattan and pick up my 13 year old in 2000 and that didn't happen. And the person who drove her has died, so there's no way to corroborate that and lots of other stuff. You know, she said that she spoke with Benji Madden about his tattoos and all this at the party. But Benji and his brother, whatever that band is called, they were on tour in the Midwest at the time, so they weren't even there. She said she watched the VMAs on a Jumbotron from outside the awards, but MTV didn't have a Jumbotron that year. She said she got in a limo outside the vma, but that. But in reality, the street was blocked off and there was an Eminem performance going on. A lot of stuff. You know, the says that, you know, she was at this house about 20 minutes from radio City Music Hall. Meanwhile, Jay Z was photographed at the VMA's afterparty at a club. So it's a lot of stuff. Jay Z's lawyer is just saying flat out, there is no way that he did this. Now, I don't. I'm not accusing this woman of lying. I think it's extremely possible, maybe even likely, that something did happen to her. But this many details being off feels more like somebody found an opportunity to throw another big name into a lawsuit and took it. That's just what it seems like from what's coming out, you know, at this point. But you should. It's not that it's not a very long video, but, nigga, when I tell you, I walked away from it like, y'all know, y'all ought to be ashamed for manipulating. What it felt like to me was that somebody saw an opportunity for money and decided that they was going to use this woman to go after it. Because how do attorneys not do this work? Attorneys didn't. The attorney, Tony Busby and his. You know, he says four other attorneys at the firm, you know, verified this woman claims y'all didn't check to see if Benji Madden was actually in New York City. Y'all didn't ask her daddy. You didn't see if this friend who drove her. Like, y'all didn't do. Y'all didn't do none of that. You didn't check to see if there were limos or Jumbotron permits or.
Chyna See
And you put her in a position to be interviewed.
Tim
And who told her to talk to NBC News.
Chyna See
Right.
Tim
Like NBC was just gonna let her tell her story and not provide. No kind of. They wasn't going to do no reporting.
Chyna See
Yes.
Tim
It just. So the whole thing, it already Seemed, you know, a little like, oh, okay, we'll see. And now it's like, it's looking more and more like y'all are just trying to make something stick here. So. Yeah, we'll see.
Chyna See
Last but not least, Lil Wayne apparently says that he spoke with Kendrick Lamar about the Super Bowl. They've made peace. He told Kendrick Mar that he better kill it. I haven't heard the clip yet. Have you watched this?
Tim
I did see that clip, and I was happy to hear that the AI Diss track from him was fake.
Chyna See
Oh, yeah, I heard about that.
Tim
Because I didn't even. I honestly didn't even press play on it. I heard about it. You know, I saw the link. But I said, until, you know, Wayne or Young Money or whoever post this, because it's too much fake and it's too easy to lie online.
Chyna See
I want to hear what he said. I haven't heard this one.
Tim
So, you know, when we speak, and I obviously can't control that, you know.
Chyna See
So he didn't let me know.
Tim
It ain't like he don't.
Chyna See
It ain't like he can control it or nothing.
Tim
And also, I've spoken to him and I wished him all the best and.
Chyna See
Told him he's got to kill it. Yeah.
Tim
All right.
Chyna See
So you better kill it.
Tim
You gotta kill it.
Chyna See
Okay, well, did he say anything to enlighten you about these lyrics about you?
Tim
I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down.
Chyna See
I don't know exactly what that means.
Tim
He's sort of.
Chyna See
But he just said that. I don't think he's not. Even though he didn't have to do anything. There was no explanation that that was needed for that.
Tim
I think I understand.
Chyna See
Again, that was my first time hearing.
Tim
It when you just said, okay, I understand.
Chyna See
I understand those words. He. Like I said, I think he just mean that he's. He made it there, and he does hard work is the reason why he made it there. Yeah, obviously, I took it. I don't know what to take from that, to be honest with you.
Tim
I took it as Lil Wayne realizing the Internet had been blowing up a lot of shit, perhaps, or maybe even just niggas in his ear. I don't think he's online like that. But, you know, maybe in his camp, that sort of thing was just, you know, hyping shit up, making it something that it wasn't. And maybe when Wayne heard whacked out murals, he was like, you know what? Let me just go ahead and pick up the phone. I'm too old for this, you know, let's just figure it out. Let's just try to, you know, find some sort of resume.
Chyna See
Yeah. Because he seemed like he really. His response, even when he was like, I've been chilling. Don't wake the demon. I've already said, seemed like he really didn't even have no issue or desire to engage in that way, but he was genuinely disappointed that he didn't get to perform at the super bowl and his town, which I always said was fair. It's just ridiculous to have the response that a lot of fans did. Baby Nicki and Drake did. You know, it just doesn't make sense and it almost makes. It almost makes them look crazy. Like specifically the people at Cash Money and Young Money for him to be like, oh, yeah, I spoke to him and like, it's all good. I told him, you better kill it. You know, I get it. It's the business, whatever. Like, that is actually the response that you should have had and that I was hoping he would have had anyway. But you're right. Is there anybody else for their own reasons.
Tim
Yep. Because you know, Nick, I don't know, like, not even Drake care about Wayne. They were just mad at Kendrick. That's what I think.
Chyna See
Hmm. I think they respect him. I think they respect him and like, love him.
Tim
Oh, Wayne for Wayne.
Chyna See
Yes. Like his, his legacy and. And what he's done for them. But care.
Tim
Wasn'T the drive.
Chyna See
If we really unpack the definition of that word. But yeah, like, that wasn't the driving words. Drake is pissed at Kendrick. Cash. What's his name? Birdman?
Tim
Cash.
Chyna See
Ben hated, you know, a lot of the niggas surrounded. Like, Birdman's whole beef with Pharrell is kind of what goes into the eclipse, which is what takes you to push in Drake, which is what, you know, so he's just pissed. And then Nikki hates Roc Nation. So this was really kind of like.
Tim
Yep, Nikki hates Roc Nation.
Chyna See
How dare you? But really, you had your own reasons for being pissed.
Tim
Yep. I'm very glad that, you know, this was the conclusion that this should have come to. I'm glad. I'm glad it didn't go any further. Especially like with no Shay. Wayne do not want to see Kendrick in no back and forth battle rap type of situation.
Chyna See
It would be good, friend.
Tim
It would be good for us.
Chyna See
I don't want it, but it would be good.
Tim
We would have a great time.
Chyna See
Wayne is not no hoe and he hasn't lost his lyrical ability in any way, shape or form. The thing is Kendrick, first of all, Kendrick is stellar at what he does. Kendrick is in his prime, and Kendrick is also, like, the ammunition. I don't even have to know you. I could just literally get on this thing and just talk about what I see and eat you up. You know what I mean? Like, I don't have to have anybody send me a photo of your Ozempic. Like, I could just talk about. Do you know?
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
But it would be a fierce battle. I'm glad it's not happening.
Tim
Yeah. Glad that that isn't. Isn't where this is going. I've been spending a lot more time with GNX over this past week. Thank God. I was like.
Chyna See
I actually feel like I. We didn't talk about it enough.
Tim
Well, no, we ran out of time because we talked about Wicked for so long. But Wicked is, you know, about that enough either. Wicked is leaving me alone a little bit. I've been back on GNX more, and I just. That squabble up man at the Garden sequence. Them three right there. Squabble up Luther and then man at the Garden. That sequence is so.
Chyna See
It is unbelievable.
Tim
Oh, it's so good.
Chyna See
Unbelievable. But I think. I think my new three is man @ the Garden reincarnated and Dodger Blue. Dodger Blue is like.
Tim
If everybody would just listen to what I've been preaching and saying.
Chyna See
Dodger Blue is just truly perfect music. The album is good, bitch. It's so good.
Tim
Look at y'all trying so hard to make it back. I cannot wait to this.
Chyna See
I don't know why y'all would be like, where. Where would you find the room to.
Tim
Yes.
Chyna See
It's not long enough. It's too long. Or like, what could you say that you don't like the. The COVID like, all the time. It's not too long.
Tim
It's 45 minutes. It's not too long. It's just good. You niggas are mad. Ms. X. I'm glad we got.
Chyna See
I don't know the features. Like, what is. What could you possibly be saying about this album to say that it's bad? It's not. But, yeah, I think I went back. First of all, Luther has to have all of the tens because. But Dodger Blue, I think it's in my three now. My top three.
Tim
Yeah. Yeah.
Chyna See
Because that song is just phenomenal.
Tim
It.
Chyna See
I mean, can't wait to see them perform.
Tim
It changes constantly for me, like, what the. What my favorite tracks are right now. But, yeah, it's just excellent body of work. Really excited for the tour. Excited even More so for the. The super bowl performance, though. Really can't wait to see what he does.
Chyna See
I wonder if they're gonna have openers.
Tim
Well, not really openers. Maybe just other niggas also performing. Oh, at the concert?
Chyna See
Yeah. Yeah.
Tim
I mean, I thought you meant the Super Bowl. I'm like, not really.
Chyna See
Yeah, no, I mean, like.
Tim
Oh, yeah, I'm sure. Just don't know who. Because who can? Who can. Who Schedule features.
Chyna See
Yeah, you should bring some of, like, the new. Some of them. LA knew some of these features. Some of these people could have been rapping for a mad long and I'm just not hearing about them. No shade. But yeah, you could bring some of, like, the artists that are on the project with them. Why not? And then, you know, they can open. He's doing the west coast thing and putting, you know, his region on again. But then also they'll be present for the features, you know, like the song.
Tim
Oh, yeah, that's always nice.
Chyna See
So instead of cutting either way, I'm excited to go see the show. I can't wait.
Tim
Yeah. Shout out to Lil Wayne.
Chyna See
And I'm glad that Wayne, you know, did the. The adult thing and was like, you know what? This ain't no skin off my nose.
Tim
And it ain't worth it.
Chyna See
It ain't got nothing to do with me. Just. Just kill it. Because it is New Orleans. So.
Tim
Yep. So you better piss me off. Don't piss me off.
Chyna See
And I am a huge football f. Like, Wayne loves football too. So, like, don't piss me off.
Tim
Right. That's real.
Chyna See
Oh, girl. I think this just raised the chances of my petty prediction from way back when.
Tim
I don't even remember.
Chyna See
Remember when I was like. Remember when I was like. Well, gag when he's performing and he says, fuck the Wayne, girl. While he was in jail. That's conniving.
Tim
And wanked him out.
Chyna See
He's like, that's. And he comes out of the ground.
Tim
That would be incredible. Maybe not.
Chyna See
That's because he's coming out fierce.
Tim
Fierce. Probably not, because they would have to.
Chyna See
Check on Aubrey Drake Graham. They would have to check on him, monitor his heart rate, blood pressure.
Tim
Like, he's not going to do that to Drake, but that would be so funny.
Chyna See
Says whom?
Tim
Well, you right. I don't know them niggas.
Chyna See
Like, that Louisiana Fest was just the other day and mama decided not to come because she wanted to be at the fucking rafters game thinking that she was gonna troll. Derosan was like, girl, if you don't tell that Little bitch to go on somewhere. Ain't nobody pressed. Like, you could have popped out and did a diss record or something at Louisiana Fest. You wanted to go to the Raptors and play tough guy. Who knows?
Tim
Muttering under your breath on the sidelines. Oh, right.
Chyna See
Like any living body is afraid of you.
Tim
Oh, so fun, so fun.
Chyna See
Lotto's sister probably tell him to shut his ass up and put his sneakers on and get in the car. Like, bitch. And I still like Drake. Like, I'm like, when he puts out a fire song next year or whatever and I enjoy it or whatever. Like, don't act crazy. I'm trolling when it's deserved and I. Or I'm calling them as I see it. Like, sweetie, give us the Marvin's room sing about missed calls, unresponded texts. Because he's never going back to that. A living person believes it never ever.
Tim
He's never ever going back to that.
Chyna See
Say, my niggas are going to climb up there and pull her down. At least that'll be like, okay. He probably you will go climb up there yourself. Don't do that.
Tim
You forgot them abs was etched on. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do it. Oh, man. Fun time.
Chyna See
Very high up. That's it for the hot tops. We're gonna take a break, come back. Hey, y'all. Holidays are coming around and you know, those of us who care and have folks around know that our finances about to take a hit. If you ever had to borrow from your savings, increased debt for holiday expenses, all that stuff, you know, recovering from the holidays, it can take a minute. We've all been there. Just means you care about holiday cheer. Yes, it is. Send your Questions to AsktheRead gmail.com we may read them aloud on the show. Our first letter this week. Oh glory.
Chyna See
What?
Tim
Well, I'm trying to decide. We got gay, we got straight women, we got moms, queer moms, Stay at home moms. Okay, okay, here we go. Are you ready?
Chyna See
I am.
Tim
All right, so this question comes from Joe, who says I'm 27 and my man Michael is 28. We both mostly hang around people we've known since middle school, since we still live in our hometown area. The difference is that while my friend group is warm and welcoming, his friends are cold and standoffish. It's been almost three years of us being together and his friends still treat me like I'm a speck of dust floating by. If I'm not being ignored or left out of things like photos and conversations, then they are just being blatantly rude. My man is guilty of defending all of these friends. I tried to be understanding because I know he's attached to them. However, I'm his girlfriend and we are starting to discuss having a real future together I'm finding it hard to have these conversations and feel excited because all I can think about is having these funky ass friends of his in my house and at my wedding. I feel stuck because I want him to stick up for me, but I also don't want to cause drama between them and us. How do I move forward with this man that I love when the people he loves make me feel so unimportant? Am I being too sensitive? Thanks so much. Love, Joe. Oh, also, his friend group is made up of both men and women. The women are attention seekers and weirdos, and the men also defend that behavior. When I say they are blatantly rude, I mean, they do things to clearly disrespect me and my relationship. Like, not long ago, one of the girls was dancing around the living room trying to get my man's attention, which led to her walking over and shaking her ass in his face.
Chyna See
Gotcha.
Tim
Yikes. So what does.
Chyna See
What should Joe do?
Tim
How does she move forward with this man that she loves when his friends make her feel so unimportant? Is she being too sensitive?
Chyna See
You're not being too sensitive?
Tim
No. Shake her ass in your man's face. You're not being too sensitive at all. Not about that one. Mm. Mm.
Chyna See
I mean, here's the thing, right? I. It's no secret that I don't believe in being friends with my niggas friends or vice versa. But if you are going to have a life together, it is expected that you're going going to share space with them. And so it is not asking too much that when you do share space, that you are respected within it. Especially if you have not created any reason to be disrespected. If there's absolutely no reason for them to be rude, disrespectful, standoffish to you, then the least that they could do out of respect for their friend that they allegedly care about or love, who cares and loves you, is treat you with basic decency. If they can't do that and your man can't set the boundaries to make sure that that's something you don't need to be with him. And that's just really it because again, somebody like myself, I wouldn't give two living fucks what you think about me or how you feel about me or if you want to be my bitch because. Because you're not my friends. You're his friends, so you don't have to like me. But you're not gonna play with me either, because we are gonna be around each Other, like, at some point. So if you think that you're gonna play with me, little girl, me, disrespect me, not acknowledge, me, flirt with my nigga or any of those types of things, I'm burning this bitch down. I'm starting at the ground, starting with the rug, wherever, then the wall. I am burning like, you're not going to do it. So you already pointed out that your boyfriend defends the behavior, I imagine, and that you made it clear that this is something that's happening and bothering you. This is something he's witnessing and he's defending it, which is, as far as I'm concerned, the biggest problem. Because them bitches don't know you nothing.
Tim
Same, same. Yep, yep, yep.
Chyna See
So if he has no intention on making an effort for you to be comfortable when you're around his friends, especially when you bring him around your friends and everyone is nice, right? Then it's like, what are we doing here? And why do I want to be with you forever? What have you done for me lately?
Tim
Why do I want to be with you even just today, much less forever?
Chyna See
Because today, tomorrow, yesterday, a nigga's friends.
Tim
Got one time, and I do mean one time, to disrespect me. You have one. I'm not. I'm also not 27 no more. Praise God.
Chyna See
But that's true.
Tim
You have one time to play with me, and this nigga is defending it because these are your friends. I don't. So you heard what they said, or you saw how they treated me. You saw how they disrespected our relationship, and you defend them and not me? This is not a relationship worth my investment anymore. I get that you love him. I get that y'all have been together for almost three years. I would love to say, you know, sit down and have a conversation about the serious seriousness of this, but that feels so fucking stupid. Like, why do I have to sit down and tell you that your friends can't talk to me no kind of fucking way? You're 28 years old, and I have to tell you that your friends can't ignore me or leave me out of shit or come twerking your face to piss me off like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Actually, don't have to do that. I don't have to do any of that. I get that you care a lot for him, but please don't love this man more than you love yourself. And it sounds like. It sounds like you might. Oh, it sounds like you might. Please don't you want him to stick up for you because that's the right thing for him to do. Do you want to marry a man who will let other people disrespect you? That's the husband you want. But I want him as a husband, okay? And this is how he acts. So is that the husband you want? Please don't plan for in the future. He'll be different after we go to therapy. He won't act like this. You're marrying the nigga. Whoever you marry, the day you marry, that is who you're married to. The potential, the hopes, the dreams, the maybes don't exist today right now, the way he acts. You want to legally tie yourself to this nigga? If the answer is yes, you need a giant, and I mean like a truckload of self esteem. You need a big, giant dose of self worth. Because why? Because y'all have been together for this amount of time, and I can tell you do care about him, even though I think it's patently absurd. I will recommend that you tell him. Listen, the fact that you are trying to plan a future with me, but you also let niggas disrespect me. Those two things are incongruent. They don't go. They're incompatible. They don't go together. You need to pick one. Which is it? You want to build a future with me or you want to let niggas disrespect me? You pick. It's up to you. Because I'm not trying to change you. You decide what. What the type of nigga you want to be. And if these friends mean that much to you. You've been your friends since middle school and. And you are too scared. Too much of a bitch. You secretly agree and you really don't like me that much and you waiting on me to break up with you. Whatever it is, whatever it is, let. Let that be that. But it's not going to be both of these things no more. All right?
Chyna See
Keeping protect. Like the ability to protect his wife at one point was like at the foundation of picking a husband.
Tim
It was the whole point.
Chyna See
It was just like. It was like the whole point.
Tim
It was the whole point. Have somebody protect of being like, oh.
Chyna See
The person I marry is because he's gonna keep me safe.
Tim
And this nigga said, actually, they got points.
Chyna See
And now it's just like the nigga look at you. Like, you gonna let them talk to you like that? Like, what, Y'all still want to be with these?
Tim
Yeah. For what? Yeah. No, baby girl, best of Luck with this conversation, but I. I think you're probably gonna end up breaking up, and that's probably for the best. That's why. What? What are you doing? What is this?
Chyna See
Oh, you can't hear it?
Tim
No, the. And if I can't, I know the listeners can't.
Chyna See
Damn it. Then. It's never been working.
Tim
What are you doing a sound. You've been doing some sort of soundboard thing? Look at you. It probably isn't, because how could it record the audio if it's not going into the mic?
Chyna See
I mean, I was just hoping that you would hear it.
Tim
Oh, no. Sorry. Damn it. Best of luck, Joe. Our next letter comes from Chris, who says, hey, y'all, I'm a black gay man in my late 30s.
Chyna See
One. You heard that?
Tim
I heard you say, oh, that's not a good one. No. Whatever buttons you're pushing, they're not working. Sorry.
Chyna See
Fuck. Okay, never mind.
Tim
All right, so Chris is a black gay man in his late 30s. He says, I didn't grow up with much. Through education and hard work, I've been able to achieve a lot in my field, and I've risen to a great senior level position at a national firm. I'm known bounty. Now. Look at you. Why would you act like that? I don't know why.
Chyna See
It just came out and I didn't mean it. I.
Tim
That's your brother. He's a black gay man in his late 30s.
Chyna See
I didn't mean it. I promise I didn't mean it.
Tim
You were like, oh, do you have a good job? Did you work so hard?
Chyna See
It was a random impulse joke. I promise I did not mean that. Continue, continue. No, I'm very proud of you. You.
Tim
Chris says, I'm known broadly for my network and the relationships I have in my field. Yeah, just pausing in case anyone wants to mock him for that.
Chyna See
Okay. No, no. Good job.
Tim
The new role I have was previously occupied by someone who has a similar profile, and I believe I was hired to take the role further. My predecessor is a white man who is also very well known in the field and spent three years in the role. He. He is someone who I would look to for counsel. I feel more qualified than him in a few ways. I have multiple advanced degrees, including a JD and NBA, and I've held more relevant positions in the private and public sector. His resume is weaker. His resume is weaker, but he's a very hard worker and I do respect him. My gripe is that everybody I speak to in my new position is constantly speaking about this white man like, oh, you have big shoes to fit feel. Oh, so you the new white boy. I've worked too hard to pull myself up from the wrong side of the tracks to feel lesser than. I am the only underrepresented minority at my firm. And when the comparisons happen, I smile and say something like, well, I have a position he previously had, but I am excited about the new challenges. I've been trying to figure out if it's me feeling insecure or if it's something about me having to be twice as good to have the same consideration. Am I trying to compensate that? Am I trying to compensate by giving him too much credit? Nobody was too sad to see this man leave the job. So is this open and shut, or are my feelings valid? Thanks, Chris. The incredibly high achiever with multiple advanced degrees. Thank you very much.
Chyna See
Yeah, no, these are microaggressions. These are racial aggressions. And you're not being insecure. It's actually a common, common experience for educated, successful people of color in fields like this who are extreme and I mean extremely overqualified for positions and have worked, bled, sweated, like, all of the things to get where they are and are proud of it and still are made to feel like you should be grateful to be in the room and that you couldn't possibly measure up to who. So what? Whichever white person before them who probably sucks at the job and has always sucked. And it's really unfortunate. I hate. As someone who just talks about Dixon and celebrities for a living, I hate this for y'all. Because the show's the read. We cuss people out and then we get paid for it.
Tim
It's so fun.
Chyna See
Like, you can't just be like, oh, Mitchell, fuck you, and don't ever speak. You know what I mean? You have to find some, like, suits version of the. Like, you have to have, like, a snappy comeback. My mama used to eat in this regard because she doesn't like to be like, she don't like cussing people out. Cause she'll feel bad even if she doesn't raise her voice, cast nothing. Like, she doesn't like. But she also has always. She has, like, perfect ways. And I witnessed this in the workplace where she will speak to someone and basically say, I'm not the one that you can. You can speak to. Like, I know that, you know, we're all working hard, and I don't know what's going on with you, but I haven't done anything to you, and you're not going to treat me this way. Okay, good. Great. To the point where people. I would see white employees just little me at work for her because I'm sick or got out of school early. And I would see, like, employees, like, apologize. Like, she would make motherfuckers feel bad. Boss isn't even. Because she wouldn't. Her response would be so firm and also fair that it would. A lot of times people would be like, fuck, yeah.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
Damn it. All that to say, I don't think. I think that you can respond to these aggressions in a way that is as firm, you know, like, you know, oh, you know, you're the new Derek or whatever. No, I'm the me. I'm the me. I'm just me, ready and willing to do this job that I'm very, very good at. What's your name?
Tim
Oh, Lord.
Chyna See
You know, like, you don't have. Don't take these people's shit. Like, what the fuck are you talking about? 18 goddamn degrees. You know, like, suck both of my titties as well as my breasts. You can't say nothing to me. I don't give a fuck. Like, you know, and maybe as time goes on and people, you know, see that you are exceptional, they'll just be like, oh, my God. You won't have to deal with it because you're not new anymore. But also be prepared for the possibility that people will just be like and treat you that way. Because skin color, sexuality, stature, expression, all of these other things. No, you make white people afraid again, I'm getting it.
Tim
Tattooed is your mantra.
Chyna See
Amber Rose style, right across the forehead.
Tim
Oh, maybe not that. Maybe not that.
Chyna See
No, fuck this. You are not and you won't.
Tim
Well, I'm not entirely convinced that this is already at the level of microaggressions. Not entirely, because. Because. Just hear me out. Because Chris is a senior level position now. A new position at a national firm. The person who had the job before was clearly very well liked. And Chris even says, like, his resume is weaker than mine, but he's a hard worker. I respect him. I would look to him for counsel. He did the job. He was good at it. So it sounds like everybody really liked Derek. So just initially, you know, oh, you're the new Derek or you're replacing Derek. You have big shoes to fill. I would not automatically feel lesser than compared to Derek. Now, if. If comments like that continue beyond initial introductions, initial meetings, that sort of thing, if that comes up, like you were saying, later on, then I could see it. I could see being like, I feel like y'all are trying me because I'm a gay black man and I had to hustle so fucking hard to get here. But just off what you said, like, oh, you're the new Derek. I don't necessarily. That's how corporate people talk.
Chyna See
Like, I don't, you know, I agree.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
That's why I'm saying, like, there's a very good chance that as you get into the job people will just be like, oh, you're sickening. And that will be that. But there's a possibility that that won't be the case. I wouldn't feel lesser been Derek by these responses at all because I know I'm not. I wouldn't be.
Tim
That's what Chris said. Chris said he feels lesser than, that he's worked too hard.
Chyna See
Yeah, you shouldn't feel lesser than this person at all because you aren't. But I think it's okay to be irked by the comments. And I think it is also, like, you gotta let people know how to treat you.
Tim
That's true too. Especially black people. You have to. And your, your response is great, like, yeah, I'm in this job, but I'm excited about the new challenges. It doesn't even sound like people are saying they don't think you can do it. It honestly sounds like Derek was kind of like the personality hire. Have you seen those videos of that white girl doing the personality hire?
Chyna See
If they're on TikTok, no.
Tim
Damn, that's too bad because she is so funny. But it just sounds like everybody loved Derek and Derek moved on. You know, they're not that sad to see him go his work thing. But I wouldn't, I don't.
Chyna See
Yeah, a lot of these are likely icebreakers.
Tim
Yes. Or just very canned automatic responses that people have like, oh, Chris, nice to meet you, the new Derek, big shoes to fill, buddy. And then they go on about they cheese eating as day. You know, like, I don't, I don't think they're necessarily trying to hit you with the microaggressions with those responses, but I would be on the lookout for it because a black gay man, relatively young, in such a high ranking position, somebody is coming for your neck. It might not be, you know, Deborah at the receptionist desk, but somebody is going to be mad at you being in that position. So I don't think Kid Fury is wrong. I just don't necessarily see the microaggression in these particular responses. But they clearly make you feel away. And that's worth, you know, sitting with. Because if you've been in situations like this before, other jobs or degree programs or something where you've been in this position and all of a sudden people or people are talking to you this way and it has devolved over time. Then I can see how this would be kind of like a warning flag to you. Like, watch out here go these white people on that same. They always be on so. And it's have your guard up.
Chyna See
A lot of us to be yeah. To have our guard up.
Tim
Got to go to please. If I ever went back to corporate. I mean I'm queen of covering my ass. Detailing everything's in email. CC and whoever needs to be CC Recording meetings that we have that y'all think are private and phone calls.
Chyna See
I'm so if you look under my desk, you will see notches. 30. 32 little notches carved down. You are a fool.
Tim
Yeah, you gotta keep your guard up, Chris. But this might just be regular white people trying to be friendly talk. Just.
Chyna See
Yeah.
Tim
Keep your eyes open.
Chyna See
That's true.
Tim
Keep your eyes open.
Chyna See
Yeah, keep your eyes and ears open.
Tim
Cause you know how they do.
Chyna See
You know how they do.
Tim
Do you have a. Do you have a lot for your read? Yes or no?
Chyna See
Because not really.
Tim
Okay, so there's a question.
Chyna See
But you know how that goes.
Tim
True. Well, I don't know. We have a question.
Chyna See
I'm gonna try to make it fast.
Tim
Okay, well, I mean same. So let's just try to do this one real quick. It's about therapy is from Frenchie who says, often when I'm at my wit's end, I start considering therapy. I've tried talking to a couple of doctors about a mental health referral, but when they ask what's wrong, I burst into tears. I find it difficult to even begin because I feel crazy for what I'm crying about. I do think therapy is good for some people, but I always felt like it would be a waste for me because I feel like, what can this person tell me that I haven't already tried to tell myself? What if I'm not ready or can't do what they suggest? I'm always hyper aware. So what can therapy really help me achieve? I've been talking to a nigger who seems healthy sometimes because let's be real, this is a man at the end of the day. But talking to him has prompted me to want to get help because I'm scared that he will do me grimy like other niggas have. But I don't like that this is ruining my life and has been for years. I finally reached out to a therapist, but I'm beginning to get cold feet about this whole process again. Did you guys have this feeling? Did you often want to quit? I'm very afraid to open up to a stranger. And the therapist I reached out to was white, and I'm nervous about that too. Anyway, any feedback would be helpful. Love you guys and the show. I look forward to every episode. Thanks, Frenchie. Well.
Chyna See
Well, Frenchie. I would start by saying I. Without discounting anyone's ability to therapize or provide medical help, I always suggest attempting at least to find a therapist that you have things in common with at, like, the grounded level of who you are. So race, gender, sexuality, even things like that. Because I feel like it, at least for you, the patient, it can provide a little bit of comfort that might make it easier for you to speak. That said, just this is like, it's not like, you're not going to school and people aren't really. Like, you don't have, like, an exam. Like, you're not. It's not really. You're gonna go and have a chat.
Tim
Yep.
Chyna See
You know, and I think the cold feet or nervousness that you're talking about is very normal for a lot of people who are new to therapy or uncomfortable with the idea of speaking to a stranger about shit that's really, really, really bothering you or makes you emotional or is ruining your life, so to speak. But you'll be surprised at how, like, even if you don't walk away from a session, like, wow, I've got a whole lease on life, you'll be surprised with just being like, that wasn't that bad, or that wasn't a big deal. It was just a conversation. Also, remember that it can be a lot like dating.
Tim
Oh, yeah.
Chyna See
In that, like, when I first started seriously seeking therapy, I saw two before I landed on in New York. Like the therapist I saw for years.
Tim
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chyna See
I saw at least one other, and she was a black lady too. But I wasn't comfortable with ours. Like, I don't even think I can say that she did anything wrong, per se. And I don't even remember what it was, was that I wasn't feeling about the vibe. But it did. I was just like, okay, sometimes it's just the vibe her, you know, And I tried somebody else, and I felt great there. And so that's what I stuck with. So I would also caution you to, like, when you do go and speak to this therapist a again, you're probably gonna walk away Just fine. Even if you don't feel better, you're. It's incredibly like, I highly doubt you're gonna feel like worse. But even if you're like, I didn't really like her, or, oh, they didn't really, you know, do it for me, please don't let that turn you off from therapy altogether.
Tim
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chyna See
Because it could just be that you need a different therapist. Yes. But I'm going to wholeheartedly and very passionately suggest that you go in there, drop your guard and, and remember that you have a lot more control in these sessions than you think. Like, these people aren't going to sit there and be like, well, you're. I see you're a hot mess. So let me tell you how not to be. You know, they're going to ask you questions, they're going to help you unpack. It's going to be a lot of you in the driver's seat anyway, so you can kind of sit in the power of that and just, you know, find the fit. That works.
Tim
Yeah, it is. It would be ashamed if you got rid of this white person because you just insisted on finding a black one and then the black therapist you found was not working for you. That would be really tragic.
Chyna See
Exactly.
Tim
And the over. It is a very white field. It is, I think like 87% of therapists are white. So I'm less worried about their race and more worried about their cultural competency, which is their job, not yours.
Chyna See
Exactly.
Tim
If you don't feel comfortable, if a white therapist is not meeting you where you are, that is on them. They are the professional here and it's their job to have that competency. So I fully agree with everything you.
Chyna See
Just said, and I want to think most of them do because it's kind of the job. Yes, I want to think. I don't know.
Tim
I, I believe that most of them try to. Okay, most. But in some places, some cities, some towns, some states, it's gonna be a lot harder. Yeah, it's going to be a lot. It's gonna be. It might be. I should say, might not necessarily going to be, but.
Chyna See
Right.
Tim
I will just say, you mentioned that you, you think about therapy, you go to this place where you're like, oh, maybe I should. But then you're like, oh, no, it would be a waste because I'm very self aware. They can't tell me things I don't already know about myself. And what if I'm not ready to do what they suggest? Well, initially, there really shouldn't be that much of, you know, suggestions. Unless, unless you're putting your life or somebody else's life in danger, there's probably not going to be too much suggestions or like homework and stuff of more and more of listening and just learning who you are and what you've been going through. And it may be a lot of people are very highly aware and they think, oh, well, you know, I tell myself the things I need to be doing all the time anyway, I don't need no damn therapist. But the problem is that you, your thinking may be distorted, so you may be trying to rationalize things with yourself internally and you keep ending up in this problematic thought process because you have a core belief or something else involved in this, in these cognitive processes that is corrupted or just flat out wrong. A lot of times it could be something like that where you're like, you know, I, I talk myself through shit all the time. You know, I'm very aware of my issues. I know exactly how fucked up I am and this, this. But maybe you don't like there. The thing about therapy is that the therapist should be a neutral party who is also educated in like, different modalities. And maybe they have one or two that they practice in particular, but, you know, they should know about the effects of trauma on the brain and body, all of them. And they should be able to provide an alternative way of seeing things that you would have never considered because you're only processing this in your head. You're not sharing it with others, especially a qualified professional. And so you don't get any pushback from these distorted beliefs that you might have about yourself. So I just wanted for, for you, Frenchie, and for anybody else who's like, I'm so self aware, I don't need a therapist. A lot of y'all say that you're self aware, but the only thing you're aware of is your flaws and the things you're doing wrong. And you're not aware of how gorgeous and talented and brilliant and useful and needed and loved you are. So it just, I second this very strong recommendation that you go anyway. And if you're not vibing with them, I mean, if you outright dislike them, then you don't have to see them again. But, you know, it might take a few sessions for you to really feel comfortable, but when you get to that place, it's so incredible because the number one predictor of whether therapy will work is the therapeutic relationship. It is the relationship between the client and the therapist that matters more than anything else. A really good therapist can help you change your life.
Chyna See
So they're kind of like. Like Marie Kondo for your brain.
Tim
Yes, they can be. Because they tell.
Chyna See
Come in and go, like, okay, like, you could clean this up. You know that you could clean this up. Sure, I'm gonna help you. Did you ever consider, like, if you fold this like this, it fits perfectly here, and then you have more space for this. Oh, you don't like this here? Because that. Okay, okay, well, let's try this. You know what I mean? It's more like they kind of come into the situation that you're saying you're well aware of and without judging you or else. Or anything else. They're like, I could kind of help you unpack some of this stuff and figure out where to put it. And like, oh, you know, this sentimental value. Value. Maybe we should hang it up so you see it all the time. Might make you feel better. And it's like, yeah, it's. That it's not.
Tim
Yeah, it is.
Chyna See
It should be.
Tim
It should be. Yes. All therapists are not created equal.
Chyna See
Right.
Tim
God knows. But, you know, there can be a lot of shame around. I can't believe I'm, you know, 25, 30, 35, and I'm feeling this way. 40, 50, whatever. I can't believe that I'm. I can't get my shit together or I up or struggling in such and such ways. But we don't all have the same foundation. We weren't all taught to do the same thing. Like, kind of like with your Marie Kondo thing. Like, we all. Most of us know how to clean up, pick stuff up, throw it away, or put it somewhere else. But some of us were taught how to really organize and have a love and passion for that. And not just taught how to do it, but made to feel like it was important for us and our happiness. And we were taught to dedicate that kind of work to ourselves. A lot of us had parents who gave up on us in one way or another, gave up on trying to understand us or reach us or help us with our problems or relate to.
Chyna See
Us, or gave up on themselves so they could never give us anything.
Tim
I was literally about to say, a parent who gave up on you gave up on themselves first. So they can't teach you how to put that kind of consistent effort into yourself because they can't give it to themselves. But now I'm diving way too deep into my business. And not Frenchies. But, yeah, I just. I wanted to put that out there for people who are like, you know, what if I don't like what they tell me to do? Well, it really shouldn't be telling you to do nothing. Therapists don't really give advice. Not really. You might have, you know, some quote unquote homework, but they're not, you know, it's not like, oh, well, next time a bitch come to you crazy. Well, you know, it's not, it's not really like that. But hold some space for the lyrics of defying gravity. But also hold some space for the. Hold some space for the possibility that you might just need to hear from a third party. You might just. You, you might say something that you think is so true and so right and you've never even questioned it. It's like a, a belief that you've had for as long as you can remember, and you say that out loud and your therapist will be like, wait a minute, you know, like, who told you you can't mistakes? Who's. You can't make mistakes, right? You know, who said you had to look perfect or be perfect or whatever else? I don't know what your issues are, Frenchie, but I hope that this convoluted ass answer helped you feel better about going to therapy. And although I do love seeing black therapists with black clients, there's simply not enough black therapists to go around. And if you can find a competent white person or, well, if you can find a competent non black, that might be even better. But really competent, non racist, dedicated to helping you to find happiness. Those are more important than race in and of itself because you could have Candace Owens for a therapist, so, you know, I shouldn't. It's not race, it's just. It's just not all race. So. But best of luck to you babes. We're gonna wrap it up right there Again, if you have a letter or question for us, send it to askthereadmail.com we'll be right back. Hey, y'all. Chyna See
We are back. It's now time for the read. It is gonna try and make this quick. I want to talk about games and I want to talk about idiot consumers that ruin them.
Tim
Yay.
Chyna See
First of all, I'd like to once again remind people out there that the term woke has absolutely no reason to be harnessed for political propaganda. The way that it is. It has absolutely and is. It's an actual, like, inception, conception, creation, origin, whatever. It has absolutely nothing to do with what the fuck y'all are talking about. And woke is a word that black folk would use speaking to each other. Like, we ain't even talking to you.
Tim
Like, for so long. For so long.
Chyna See
That's our shit was us speaking to each other.
Tim
It was about each other. White people were never part of each other.
Chyna See
So, like, I don't know why this is now being used as a way anyway.
Tim
Y'all can't Be woke.
Chyna See
It doesn't make sense. Shut up.
Tim
Y'all can't be woke or unwoke. It's not about y'all at all.
Chyna See
It has nothing to woke politics. I wanna blow my bra. Like what? That doesn't make sense. Words mean things. Each one of them. Every single one.
Tim
They do.
Chyna See
Anytime that a video game comes out now and the protagonist is not a heterosexual white man, there is an outcry from idiot incels in the gaming community. Unfortunately in the gaming community that team the game as woke. If a game features or displays character pronouns or allows you to create a character and choose their pronouns, we all use pronoun. The game is woke. The developers are woke. The publishers are woke. I'm gonna sidebar. I would like to take a quick stop at the truck stop if you will, if you can.
Tim
This is your moment.
Chyna See
Everyone has pronouns.
Tim
All of us.
Chyna See
Every single one of you bitches has a pron, nigga. Every goddamn game. Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends, they say he, him, her, she, hers, they, them. Everybody has one. So just because they say that you can choose one for a game has nothing to do with the word woke because it has nothing to do. Woke ain't got shit to do with politics. It has nothing to do with the binary or complications of gender. Nothing, nothing. Pronouns would be in the game anyway.
Tim
Work, work, work, work, work.
Chyna See
Getting back on the road. As I said in the block excellence, very acclaimed developing development team Naughty Dog is creating a new sci fi epic starring Tatiana Gabrielle. And in the trailer for it, which was debuted at the Game Awards, folks noticed that Tati's character seemed to be shaving her head. I mean, she's already black and a woman so woke and she is also shaving her head, seems to have a nice fit body and kind of looks like she may be queer in some facet. Which would not be new for Naughty Dog as they included queer characters in the Last of Us Part 2, which will be coming to HBO their second season soon, as well as trans characters in the Last of Us Part 2.
Tim
Well, trans people exist. Oh, makes sense.
Chyna See
They just do. So even in the end of the world, we're being eaten alive by zombies. Some of us would be. Can you imagine? Wouldn't that be? I mean, yes, because that anyway, always been trans people.
Tim
This is not new.
Chyna See
So now this game has somehow been the new symbol of wokeism in gaming because based on a trailer that's about two minutes long, they see that it seems the protagonist has black skin, woman's body, and a Woman's body that isn't seeming to be presented for the purpose of attracting men.
Tim
Oh Lord. So they pissed.
Chyna See
She's playing a bounty hunter that is about to start a quest on a planet that has not had human communication in like 600 years, that no human's been able to escape from. Why would she be putting on a full beat and a lace bust down wig? It doesn't make sense. But y'all just say anything. And the thing that blows my mind is Call of Duty. They make a new fucking game like twice a year. You bitches get a new Madden 2K, Apex, Legends, Valorant, you have all love it. Women play video games. Gay people play video games. Including fags that like me, who not only love seeing women who are queer or masculine or whatever in prominent roles in games, I also love women in games that are cut, that are wearing a two piece bikini and have a huge sword and are cleaving off heads because I think that's sickening. And I grew up in the 90s, but we can't even have that without straight men ruining it too. None of you bitches should be allowed to play video games. Not a single God damn one of you. A dragon age video game, A fancy, a fantasy video game coming out, or fantasy property of any type coming out and having a character in it that's black, that is trans, that's gay or anything. And you calling it woke is the most ridiculous motherfucking goddamn thing in the world. Because here you are, a hardcore fan of a fantasy story, meaning everything, make believe. None of this shit is real. Dragons, mermaids, minotaur, trolls, none of them. Orcs, none of them. They aren't real. None of it. And you know that, bitch, because that's why you like it. So then why is it too aware.
Tim
Yeah.
Chyna See
To have black people or pronouns or Asian leads or whatever the fuck. None of you should be allowed to play video games. Please get out of my community. I like it to be fun. I want it to be fun. And it will only be its best when we have perspectives across all walks. I want to play as straight white guys. I want to play as gay white guys. Straight white men, gay, like gay, black, straight, black men, gay black men, trans people of whatever color. I want to play as all of them. Them.
Tim
Why wouldn't you?
Chyna See
I want good stories that are fun gameplay that is fun. My identity in no way impacts my enjoyment of a video game. Actually it can if I closely identify with, you know, this character or whatever is built or whatever. But if I don't oh, yeah, that makes sense. It can still be.
Tim
You just play anyway. Like, it doesn't. You guys are being so weird.
Chyna See
I hate you. Please stop playing video games. You're. You're making it the worst for everybody. Like, just because you're a nerd and you don't have friends. And like, oh, now gaming is getting popular and all these adaptations and da da. People still aren't gonna fuck you because you're you. It doesn't matter what this video game looks like or who the lead of it is. Like, you still ain't getting pussy because you suck. So deal with that. Well, I think I'm done. All right, I'll do Natasha rothwell, and that's Sonic 2 subplot next time, okay? Because they played with me, but they turned it around.
Tim
Okay, good. Well, very. And I do mean very quickly, it came out in court this week that Tory Lanez's father played paid Milagro Grams, the blogger who Megan is suing about $3,000 over the span of two years.
Chyna See
Jesus Christ.
Tim
I'm trying to imagine me being so fucking hard up for anything that I was willing to put myself in legal Trouble for a $200 Zelle payment on March 7, 2021. Like, this is just so weird, girl.
Chyna See
Fashion Nova would have cleared that.
Tim
Come on, baby. When I tell you. You could have got Sheen, Timu. Anybody would have paid you more than $3,000 over the course of two years to. And now look at the. The sheer amount of trouble you're in, baby. But, you know, dumb hoes, dumb decisions. And the state of New York talking about. So Kathy Hochul, who is our governor, set up this plan for a meeting for a bunch of corporate executives and Homeland Security and counterterrorism officials to talk about the fact that these executives are scared now, that people are tired of the overwhelming greed in this country and their heads might be next. And what came up in the discussions of this is perhaps creating a hotline, a special telephone number so that CEOs and other C Suite niggas executives, if they feel threatened, can telephone right on over to the state of New York. A special hotline in case the multimillionaires Scaredy Weirdy. Are you kidding? And now this is terrorism. You know they're charging Luigi with terrorism.
Chyna See
Yeah, I know.
Tim
Interesting. Interesting. Now, I thought he popped one in the middle of a sidewalk. I'm not sure what about.
Chyna See
Yeah, but he's Joaquin Phoenix, the Joker. He started a. He's too hot. He's making points.
Tim
Listen, listen, it's a lot going on.
Chyna See
But Katherine, they're worried about copycat killers.
Tim
Katherine, we have murderers right here in the state like we there is all the time. People are getting murdered constantly.
Chyna See
You can't for nothing for no point.
Tim
Right? You can't expect us to give more of a fucking about this nigga because he was rich. Y'all better not take all of my fucking hard earned tax dollars just about and establish a fucking hotline. Because a bunch of greedy bitch ass niggas are scared that somebody might come for they bitch ass. Maybe don't move like a greedy selfish bitch and you wouldn't have nothing to worry about. You see how when you don't deny children their wheelchairs, nobody wants to kill you. You see that?
Chyna See
So you're taking my money, but you not letting me get my spinal surgery.
Tim
Come on.
Chyna See
And now you want to take some more of my money. So rich motherfuckers who been running this racket and stealing from me can dial 777 cause they scared just in case to go to burning man.
Tim
Just in case. So what? It's a collection of like 600 people who might be able to call this phone number in case they feel. And what is the. What is the barometer for what constitutes a threat?
Chyna See
Like exactly.
Tim
Y'all are really.
Chyna See
This is the dumbest. It is. It is ridiculous, Incredibly rich idea.
Tim
Please stop fucking playing with us. These people have made their beds. They've made their decisions. And now they have to live with the consequences. Be those.
Chyna See
You should be scared.
Tim
I would be if I was a hoe ass nigga like y'all are. I would be nervous. But I'm not. So I sleep great anyway.
Chyna See
And that will wrap up call 1-800-eat-DICK. How about that?
Tim
Save it for Oprah. And that will wrap up this week's episode of the Read. Check us out on social media at this is the read shoptheread.com for our merchandise. Anything else? I'm. I'm racking my brain to think of what else we supposed to be promoting right now.
Chyna See
Oprah ain't got to worry about Oprah told a whole fleet of look under their chair for a car and gave it to him. So. All right. No clip. I'll save it for being on Oprah.
Tim
Save it for. Yes, that's Save it for Oprah is from Sister Act 2 when Whoopi told the kids to save their stories for Oprah. Save it for Oprah, bro. Yes. Anyway, take care of yourselves over this holiday season. We'll be back in. Yeah.
Chyna See
Happy holiday.
Tim
2025, girlies.
Chyna See

Tim
That felt so natural. And so right. All right, bye, y'all.
