Joseph Caillet always felt a pull toward something bigger than himself — a call to serve, to protect, to become the kind of man he'd only ever seen in other people's homes. But the faith he grew up with never felt personal, and no matter how hard he chased his purpose, the doors kept closing.

In Part 1 of Joseph's testimony, he shares honestly about the fathers who shaped him — for better and for worse — the dream that was taken from him just as he reached for it, and the long, aimless years that followed. But just when he'd made peace with a life without direction, God reopens a door Joseph had given up on — though not at all the way he expected.

This is a story about what God is doing in the waiting, even when every door seems closed and the timing makes no sense at all.
