Ronnie Johnson grew up in a Christian home where church was a constant part of life. From an early age, he knew the language, the expectations, and the rhythms of faith—but somewhere along the way, following God became wrapped up in performance, pressure, and desperately trying not to lose his salvation.

In Part 1 of Ronnie’s testimony, he shares honestly about growing up in church, learning how to play the part, wrestling with hidden sin, and eventually running into the kind of failure he could no longer manage or explain away. But in one of his lowest moments, God met him with a message he desperately needed to hear: “I can’t, but He can.” This is a story of grace breaking through shame, and Jesus revealing that freedom is not found in pretending harder—but in finally surrendering to what He has already done.
