With Lexi. Yeah. She's been. How long have you been teaching? Oh, one minute. She's been doing this? Yeah. She's been teaching for her whole life.

Yeah, I know it's been a minute. Okay, go teach us something.

Well, they say yoga. They say they don't have teachers, they have instructors. Really, because we. The energy of the yogis is what teaches us. They're just vessels.

[Bobby]

Do you go to hot yoga classes?

[Nick Cannon]

That's my main thing. Like, that's the. Otherwise I have a yoga studio myself, but I don't have a hot one. So that's.

[Bobby]

Why don't you get a hot one?

[Nick Cannon]

Because it comes with a lot. I was actually trying to build one and it can ruin the floors and you have to build the infrastructure for that. So I let the. I go to the hot yogas and all of that stuff.

[Bobby]

Do you go to private classes?

[Nick Cannon]

Not being able to just.

[Bobby]

You go in with just everyone.

[Nick Cannon]

Everybody be all sweaty and funky up in there together. They don't talk to you afterwards? Not during the class.

[Bobby]

Maybe you don't feel like they're staring at you.

[Nick Cannon]

Nah. You see, when you get centered and you're at one, you're not. You don't worry about your surroundings.

[Bobby]

I feel like I'd be, oh, I'm sitting next to Nick Cannon right now. I don't think I'd focus.

[Nick Cannon]

I wish. It's usually like dark in a vibe and like, so you're not even really.

[Bobby]

It's not that dark.

[Nick Cannon]

I mean, yeah, it's not that dark. You recognize who's next to you, but you're not. You're. It's so intense that you're not paying attention. If you're paying attention to the person that's next to you, you're there for the wrong reasons. To get centered and to be one with the universe.

[Bobby]

Do you Come out feeling like you're one with the universe.

[Nick Cannon]

I come out feeling hot and sweaty, but I feel like I have release. I feel like the toxins have left my body. I feel like, you know, I've stretched and reached bounds that I would not normally. So I feel like I've accomplished something. And then I feel, like, loose and limber. But regular yoga, you can do all of that too. So we're here. That's what we're gonna do today.

[Bobby]

Let's do something. What's our next move?

[Nick Cannon]

Oh, gonna close our eyes. Do you trust as much? So you got to trust to close your eye. It took me a while to get to that, because otherwise, I'll be looking like, well, why not? Like, who the. Is somebody gonna do some shit to me? But when you can get to that space, you just close your eyes.

[Bobby]

I think I trust everyone in this room. What are you doing? Okay, Should I do that, too?

[Nick Cannon]

I mean, this is to see. Either you. You put your hands down to get grounded, or you raise your hands. Hands up to receive the energy for the universe.

[Bobby]

Why would you want to get grounded?

[Nick Cannon]

Well, grounding is part of the process of being at one with nature, and it actually gives you the stability. It's almost like you're in touch with the foundation. So to be like. Because most people, like, I got adhd, so, like, I'm always all over the place. So to get grounded, even. That's why they tell you, like, sometimes you get barefoot and go walk through nature to get ground, grounded.

[Bobby]

So do you do that?

[Nick Cannon]

I have, like, if I'm high off mushrooms.

[Bobby]

Oh, do you like mushrooms?

[Nick Cannon]

I. I like them a little too much.

[Bobby]

Do you. I've never tried them.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, I can't do that.

[Bobby]

Where do you get them?

[Nick Cannon]

Illegal sources.

Are they. I think they're legal now, aren't they?

[Nick Cannon]

No.

Really?

[Nick Cannon]

Nah, they should be. I mean, there's a bunch of. There's, like, psilocybin studies and philosophers that are actually, like. Like, trying to make sure that it is because it helps with, like, PTSD with, you know, men and women of service. There's. And to me, like, I've always done it for a spiritual connection. Like, it allows me to have, you know, conversations with God and be aligned with the most high. But if you do it too much, you become a hippie. And then, like, everything's. Hey, man, I love you, bro. And I don't. I don't want to be. I like that for, like, a couple hours. But. But if I'm like, I'll like, forget about my kids and shit. If you do it too long, be in Joshua Tree and never come back. But it's a cool experience for like, if you've never. Like, I've, you know, just studying a lot of, you know, ancient spiritual philosophies and stuff. That's kind of how I got into it a few years back. And then I realized it was like, I never did. I've never done ayahuasca. That was like the next step. And I was like, nah, that's going a little too deep. I'm good.

[Bobby]

Everyone was talking about that recently online.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, that's it. Like, I don't want to do the purging part.

[Bobby]

The purging.

[Nick Cannon]

So when you do ayahuasca, when you take the plant, though, I guess how you get to the other realm is like you got to throw up for like a few hours.

[Bobby]

I don't think people talk about that.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, that's the part that gets you in, in there. It's like you go through. You're supposed to like, lay down. They take you through. You get a shaman through it. And then you start. Start to purge. And they say, like, that's part of the. And like, throwing up is probably like, I'd rather somebody shoot me in my head than throw up. Like, throwing up.

[Bobby]

Have you had norovirus? No, it's the throw up.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, but I know, like, I mean, obviously, like my. My health journey. Like, I, like, had a lot of shit with like my lupus and stuff. And like, throwing up is the worst part.

[Bobby]

You don't get norovirus. You don't stop throwing up for 24 hours straight.

[Nick Cannon]

I'm never. I've never had it and I don't want. I have poisoning and that's.

[Bobby]

No, this is worse. This is.

[Nick Cannon]

Well, that. Cuz that's throwing up and. And simultaneously.

[Bobby]

So imagine if you just couldn't stop throwing up for 24 hours straight.

[Nick Cannon]

But like, what's the.

[Bobby]

There's no break.

[Nick Cannon]

Like, there's no break.

[Bobby]

Once it starts, there's no break. You're on the toilet. There's like blood coming up because you're just trying to throw up.

[Nick Cannon]

How does one catch norovirus? So I can just stay away from that. It's not like a sex.

[Bobby]

No, it's not.

[Nick Cannon]

Can you get it from the air?

[Bobby]

If I had it right now, you would have it now.

[Nick Cannon]

So how common is it?

[Bobby]

It's pretty common. Once it goes around, it goes around like crazy. If you find out one of your cousins.

Is it like Covid Common.

[Bobby]

Yeah. Not.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, I guess like should I have on a mask right now? Type of thing?

[Bobby]

Yeah, no, you should. It's really. A friend came over one time when I was pregnant and I had a two year old and she came over for a play date with the two year old and she thought her son was just acting a little bit weird. But nothing was. It wasn't too deep. And the next day my daughter started throwing up. Non stop that night. Me and my ex husband, non stop. And then for the next 24 hours we sat over a toilet as a family and just threw up. And then I took my daughter into the ER because she was so lethargic that she was just like. And I was like, what is happening? And she couldn't stop for 24 hours.

[Nick Cannon]

So someone. You invited someone into your house and they infected your whole family?

[Bobby]

Yep. It was horrible. That person right before Christmas.

[Nick Cannon]

Right before Christmas. You didn't give them any presents?

[Bobby]

They didn't. Nope. That ruined my whole rest of the. It was the worst. And then my mom came over to help me because we didn't know it. And then she's throwing up.

[Nick Cannon]

Right.

[Bobby]

With us, it was all you do is throw up non stop.

[Nick Cannon]

How do you stop it?

[Bobby]

24 hours later you're fine. It's like nothing ever happened because you just have to throw up a hundred times. So if you don't like throwing up, don't get that.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah. So you purged. You got rid of all.

[Bobby]

I should have taken ayahuasca that day.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah, exactly. You would have talked to God while you were throwing up.

[Bobby]

Damn. Why won't you take it? Should we take it right now? I have some Ioska.

[Nick Cannon]

If we did, we would not be able to see for like 48 hours. Do you got an extra 48 hours to spare?

[Bobby]

No.

You want to go on a journey into the spirit realm with me? God, I like that.

Let's do ayahuasca. What would you say to God if you got a chance to talk to God?

Is this. Are you real? I don't know.

Of course I'm real. You would have to ask that question. That's the thing that when they say when you have outer body experiences and near death experiences, all the questions you think you would ask God, you don't ask because you're just in the presence. So you're like, oh, I get it. And like mushrooms Are kind of like that. Like, you understand, like, the meaning of life and why we're here. And it's so, like, literally, like, euphoric that you're like, I don't ever want to leave this state. Why would I ever go back?

Yeah. Maybe I shouldn't do that. Do you smoke?

[Nick Cannon]

I used to, but not as much anymore. I don't do. I'm like. I'm super cleansed now.

[Bobby]

But nothing. You don't drink?

[Nick Cannon]

I've never drank. I don't even know what being drunk feels like. I've never been drunk.

[Bobby]

How's that possible?

[Nick Cannon]

I just don't drink. I like my. I don't. I don't like poison. I don't, like. I don't understand the concept of being drunk. Like, you just take something that tastes horribly, that makes you act like a fucking fool and gives you a headache the next day.

[Bobby]

Where's the fun it makes you. I don't know. I used to like the feeling of it, but I don't like tasting it or the next day. Now I don't drink it.

[Nick Cannon]

And it seems like it makes people make very bad decisions and have you.

[Bobby]

Yeah.

[Nick Cannon]

End up in court.

[Bobby]

Does do that.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah. Like, I don't. I've never, like. Especially being, like, out there like that. I've seen people do some very dumb stuff on alcohol.

And then other drugs as well.

But not mushrooms.

No, other than you just sit in one place and soak up the universe. But I would. I. You know what? I wouldn't recommend someone do that because it's. That's still a substance, too.

So you just recommend nothing.

[Nick Cannon]

Yeah. I would just say try to get one with the universe, like yoga. Because you can get the same experience. And I've done it. You can get the same experience through meditation and yoga that you can get with shrooms.

It takes. You gotta get. You gotta get there.

How. How long does that take?

[Nick Cannon]

Like, you gotta be super aligned with the universe. Probably like over two hours of just, like, meditating.

Oh, I couldn't do that.

You could do it.

I can't meditate for five minutes.

Yeah. And I would just lose it. I was thinking.

I've been diagnosed, but I don't take anything for it.

Yeah. My grandmother wouldn't let them give me medicine.

They tried to put me on all that.

[Bobby]

I took Adderall for a while. I love it. But.

Yeah, I Never. I've heard about it. I've heard some people really enjoy Adderall and, like, get.

You get everything done, but I think.

I'd probably get addicted if I got. If I took it.

[Bobby]

I don't have an addictive personality.

No.

So there's nothing in your life that you have to have?

No. I could lose everything right now, and I don't think I'd be fine.

Something fun to do. But think about it, like, the first one was in the Bahamas. The second one was in the Maldives. The third one, I believe was in. Was that the Disneyland one? No, I think it was Paris at the Eiffel Tower. Then the fourth one, we shut down Disneyland.

When you're saying you had weddings, are you meaning, like, the dress?

Literally, we. There was a dress. There was. We invited guests. It was a party. Out flew people out. Like, we literally shut down Disneyland. And, like, right in front of the castle. Yeah, we got Mary right there, and she pulled up in, like, Cinderella's.

You don't feel like people are like, this is enough weddings.

Yeah. And that's the thing. If it. Like, we did it, like, we had. Think we had, like, seven of them, and then we got divorced.

I think in general, dad more present.

Than my dad was.

Yeah. I was gonna say my dad was like, he worked all the time. He wasn't he. Even, even an ideal father is not really there that much for their kids because they work. So I don't know that.

So I think I've been blessed enough to be in a scenario to where I probably get to spend more time, physical time, because of the way my work structure is set up that, you know, me and my kids get to do so much more activities than. It's so cool that like I get to go to like all of these facilities.

School together.

No, but like in pockets, you know, like my, you know, because even like I have like one, I still got two year old. So. So they're not even really. They're in preschool. So, you know, I get to do those type of things where they bring their own home. Like the construction paper art.

I don't think I realized how much money you had before this interview.

A lot of people tell me that.

I don't know. I just wouldn't like imagine.

It's really, it's. It's stupidly expensive. Like, the birthing suite is probably like 10 racks a night or some shit like that.
