In this episode of TSFS, I'm diving deep into Season 8, Episode 9 of Welcome to Plathville, and honestly, I can't stop asking: what is wrong with Ethan Plath? The guy moved to Wisconsin to win back Teegen, yet she tells us he barely contacts her and she considers him "less than a friend" — and then Kim shows up for what is essentially a welfare check, only to find Ethan sleeping on a tiny foam pad with no bed, no cups, and no measuring cup (but one model car on display, priorities!). We also check in with Isaac and Kaylynn visiting Lydia and Zac in Tallahassee for a fun couples game night that reveals Lydia's surprisingly kinky side and Zac's barely-concealed contempt for the entire Plath family. The emotional gut-punch comes at the end, when Kim and Lydia have a tense road-trip conversation about Joshua — the 17-month-old son Kim accidentally ran over years ago — with Lydia wanting to process that unresolved family grief and Kim shutting it down.
