I was doing all the journaling, all the visualizing, staying positive and still felt stuck, broke and unfulfilled. And it wasn't until I completely unlearned everything that I was doing and I thought that I knew that things finally started to click. And the first key is that manifestation starts with self awareness, not with vision boards. Now I'm all for visualizing and cutting out images and putting them up on a wall. I even actually do that stuff because I believe in the power of visual reinforcement. I believe in the power of seeing the thing you want, getting close to it, touching it, smelling it, feeling it, experiencing that energy and reminding yourself. I love having visual reminders. But manifestation doesn't start with a visual reminder or a vision board. It starts with self awareness. And this could be around your money, around your purpose, around a relationship. But Dr. Tara Swart, an inspiring neuroscientist, says that you attract people based on their psychological wounds. For me, that blew my mind when I heard that. And there's a video that she shares, that talks about this. And it's just I was like, oh my gosh. When she shared this on the School of Greatness, she said, you attract people based on the psychological wounds that you have and they have. And you can't attract what you're not aligned with. Let me say that again. You cannot attract what you're not aligned with. So if you're not aligned with a healthy identity with yourself, if you're not aligned with healthy boundaries, if you're not aligned with these things and you're more of a people pleaser and you lack self worthiness, then you're going to attract other people with the. These psychological wounds that match with you. And when I heard that, I was just like, oh, this explains my entire life. It explains all of my life. Of the people I've met, of the relationships I've been in that didn't work out, that caused me the most stress and pain and upset. It's like my psychological wounds, their psychological wounds aligns and came together and created the mess that I created in my relationships, right? All these different things or the business partnerships or the opportunities, the business deals based on where I was at energetically. So everything with manifestation starts not with vision boards and not with, you know, screaming and shouting. Positive affirmations, all those things are important reminders. But it starts with self awareness because you cannot attract what you're not aligned with. And that begins with awareness of your inner narrative. Now, what does that even mean? Oh, your inner narrative. This sounds all like weird and woo woo, Louis. Well, your inner narrative are the things that you're thinking, the memories that you're tied to, the stories you're telling yourself about you, about others, about life, about what's possible, about what's not possible. It's these narratives, these conversations, these things that you're holding onto. And when people hold on to things that are empowering, they align and attract with empowering possibilities. People and opportunities that flood their life with more peace and abundance. They manifest more. But when you are in conversation, in your inner narrative around a lack of possibilities, a victim mindset, a struggle, a stress of life, you're going to attract based on that psychological wound. So I want you to ask yourself, do I feel safe around money? Do I believe that I'm worthy of love? Do I trust that my life has a purpose? I want you to ask yourself these questions again. Do I feel safe around money? Do I believe I'm worthy of love? Do I trust that my life has a purpose? Start by writing down some of your earliest money, love and purpose memories. That's what your blueprint is right now. And it's the thing that you need to rewire by rewriting the story of your memories of the past. Because your memories create meaning. When you have a memory, you interpret that memory. It could have been a tragic event, but you could have maybe created positive meaning from it. Most of us create a negative meaning from a tragic event or a trauma that trauma creates meaning of. I'm unlovable, I'm abusable, I'm not safe, I'm not smart, I mess up all the time. I have shame, guilt, whatever it might be. You guard yourself. You put on masks to protect yourself. These are all things that are common for human beings. Something I've done for many years of my life until I started to wake up, shake myself out of it. Because I was living life on autopilot and from past wounds, not from a future healing, highest version of myself that I wanted to step into. And I was allowing my past script and narrative to run my life today. My first chapters became my current chapters in my book. And what I needed to do was say, okay, reflect on the past and start rewriting the past to empower my present and set me up for great opportunities. Because you are, are probably holding on to so much wounds, so much pain, so much trauma, whether it be conscious or unconscious, that is blocking your ability to unlock your energetic space in your heart and free your mind to create possibilities in your life to manifest more. So I want you to start by writing down some of your earliest money, love and purpose memories, because that's the blueprint you have right now, and we need to rewrite it. You know our money story. Let's talk about money for a second. Our money story. The things we say about money, think about money, believe about money, influences our money personality style, how we make money, how we respond to money, how we spend money, how we save it, how we invest it, whether we look at it in the bank account every day and worry about it and hoard it, whether we never look at it and we're always just spending on credit cards and we don't know how much debt we have or we don't know where our money is. All of this stems from our money story. The life that we've lived around money, how we heard about it from our parents, the energy they had around us with money, whatever it might have been growing up that creates and influences your money, personnel, style, your personality style. It's everything I talk about in my book, make money Easy. And how you can understand how to rewrite your money story to influence your money personality style. We've got all the information in here on how you can really unlock financial freedom, financial peace and abundance by manifesting more money through understanding and rewriting this. Okay, but you got to understand your money story so you can understand why you have your personal money style today. Once you understand these things, you can start creating a money vision of what you want to create with your money. And you can also do this around anything, your relationships, love, friendships, family, career, whatever it might be. But I'm just talking about money as the concept here. When you understand your money story, you understand your personality style today around money and then you understand what's blocking you from the future vision you want to create. The thing you want to manifest. And it's not by putting million dollars and printing it out on a piece of paper on your mirror and saying, I have a vision board of I want to make a million dollars. No, it starts with self awareness, your story and your personality style and why you've interpreted these things to be the way they are. You need to start rewriting these things to be an empowering past, an empowering memory. So you don't block yourself, you don't hoard yourself, you don't constrain yourself from opportunities. And that's why most people are manifesting wrong to start with. They have a vision board of what they want, but they're not willing to go back to the past and rewrite that story first to set yourself up for success. And if you've done this, if you've been manifesting in this way where you're like every year, Christmas, New Year's, I'm all about creating the vision board. And we're going to place it up on the mirror and on the bedroom wall and I'm going to have the, and the relationship and the family and the love and the career and the money and ah, it's all gonna come to me. You're doing it wrong. I'm not saying that's not a good strategy to have, but you're doing it wrong if you're not self aware first. And so I wanna make sure you're self aware first and you're reflecting because you've got to rewire, you've got to rewrite, you've got to eliminate the limiting belief. If the limiting belief is still in your identity and in your being and in your essence and in your energy. And you're saying, but I want more, I wanna have more, I Wanna be more. I wa great. But your body, your psyche, your personality, your being, your memory says, but you're not worthy. But you can never do that because you got abandoned when you were younger. You got abused when you were 7, you got picked on when you were 9, you were bottom of the class when you were 11. That girl broke up with you when you're 16 and made a made fun of you in front of your classmates. That guy cheated on you and broke your heart. He lied to you, he manipulated you. You can never have this because this is how people have always treated you. If you're living with this memory of this past and you're putting I want the relationship, I want love, I want all these things, it's just not going to happen the way you hope it happens because you haven't shifted your awareness first. That's step one. Step two is to stop associating goodness with lack of. Because not all successful people are bad people. We talk about this around money. There's a quote from Rhonda Byrne who created the phenomenon called the Secret, one of the best selling books in the last 20 years. She said, you are the only one who can create the life you deserve. As you change your thoughts, your life changes. I had Rhonda Byrne on the show School of Greatness a couple of times and loved these episodes. And many of us were taught that rich people are greedy. Rich people means that they've done something wrong to make it happen or they've hurt other people or they've taken advantage of other people to make their money and so they're bad people. But we need to start flipping this belief that good people also have the ability to be wealthy as well. And there's lots of examples of good people who have money, who do good in the world, who are also deeply loved, who have beautiful families, beautiful marriages and create massive impact on the world. Because a lot of wealthy people that I've interviewed on the School of greatness again, 12 and a half years of interviews on the School of Greatness. Some of the wealthiest people in the world that I've had on billionaires, people have exited companies worth hundreds of millions of dollars and people that just continue to earn be money making machines on this show. I asked so many of them this question when I'm sitting across them right here and I say, what is one of the keys to earning more in your business or in your personal income every single year over the last 5, 7, 10, 20 years? And I'll sit down and I'll ask him and I'll say, what is one of the biggest reasons, and so many of them say, I give more. Every year, I give more of my money to causes that I care about, to my church, to people in need. I give more away. And it's one of the greatest gifts. Now, I'm not saying you have to give all your money away in order to make money, but so many of these wealthy individuals that I've had on say, one of the keys to making more is actually giving more. And that can be giving more value, giving more of your time, giving more resources, being more present, being more connected, being more curious, just giving more of you. It doesn't mean you have to give money, but giving more of you to add value to other people, that's one of the biggest things. You don't have to be bad to make money. Not all bad people who have money are bad people. They didn't do bad things. There's a lot of people who've made money who've done good. And so you have to flip that switch. Because if you believe and have a belief that people who've made a lot of money have done bad things, you're not going to align yourself with making more money. You'll be out of alignment because you don't want to be a bad person. So you want to be. You want to take the moral high ground and say, I want to be a good person. I don't want to hurt people. So you're blocking your ability to manifest more money, more relationships, more love, more freedom, because you're blocking your financial flow and not everyone is going to be happy for you. And that's okay. Again, sometimes when you start to accelerate and succeed and earn more, your peer group may not necessarily be on the same track as you. Leave a comment or like this video right now. If you've experienced this where maybe you've blown past your high school friend group, your college friend group, or your first career friend group, and you're starting to accelerate, you're starting to add more value, overcome your fears, develop more skills, and you're seeing, oh, I'm getting raises, I'm making more money, I'm learning about money, I'm investing some of my money and I'm seeing that grow. And I'm starting to have different conversations because I'm learning and I'm reading and I'm around people that are thinking differently than high school friends or college friends. It doesn't mean all your high school or college friends are bad or wrong or anything, but if they're not growing at the same speed as you. You just may be in a different, different perspective of life, that's all. It doesn't mean you can't still be friends with these people. It's just when you succeed, sometimes people around you are really happy for you. Sometimes people around you get jealous, get upset, get fearful, get offended, get afraid. And it doesn't mean they're wrong or bad for this. And it doesn't mean you're wrong or bad for wanting to accelerate your life and make more. But you just have to be aware of this. You're not a bad person by going off and chasing your dreams, chasing your goals, trying to earn more, trying to provide more for you and your family and create the life you want. I do a series called Awkward Therapy with my friend Jay Shetty, who is a former monk who made no money for a number of years when he was living as a monk. And he used to have more of a limiting belief around money, thinking that in order to be spiritual, you have to be poor. You can't make money because you just have to live a spiritual life and just give and serve all day and you shouldn't have anything. And I was like, you know, I think that might be a limiting belief for you, because if you're able to make more money, you're able to make more good in the world, too. You're going to have more resources to be able to create more, serve more, you can hire more people, you can impact communities, you can give more back to charities that you care about. But if you have no money, no resources, and you're just living this poor life, how is that also teaching and embodying to others abundance? Just because you have spiritual abundance, but you're blocking abundance in other ways, means you're creating more stress as well. So I'm not saying you have to make money and have to create financial freedom for yourself, but if you're trying to make a bigger impact, a bigger change in humanity as well, money is a good thing. And if it's used for good, that's going to create more opportunities for you as well. So I want you guys to start shifting this narrative that people who've made a lot of money are bad and they've done something wrong to get there. And I am better because I live a, you know, poor lifestyle or something. You don't need to live that way. I lived broke. I lived on my sister's couch for a year and a half broke. As a joke, I ate all of her food for free. I Didn't pay rent, and I couldn't provide for myself. I needed someone to help me. At that time, she gave me an incredible gift. She said, louis, you either need to leave or you need to start paying rent. And I did what any smart youngest brother would do, is I called my oldest brother and I said, hey, can I stay at your place for free? And my sister kicked me out. Now, she was kicked me out in a gentle, loving way. But she gave me a gift. She said, you've got to leave or you've got to start contributing financially. Because for a year and a half, I wasn't making money. And if she didn't do that, I wouldn't have called my brother and said, hey, bro, can I stay with you for free? And he said, let me ask my wife. And he said, you need to pay $250 a month for your room, for your rent. And I said, okay, how am I gonna make $250? I don't know how I'm gonna make money. I'm still just trying to figure things out in my life. Mid 20s, all this stuff. And I say, okay. It created pressure inside of me. I've gotta go learn. I've gotta overcome my fears. I gotta be resourceful. I gotta, like, get over myself and go add value to people. And I started paying 250 bucks a month. I didn't know how I was gonna do it in the beginning, but it created urgency in me. It created, all right, let me go. And then I started doing that. I lived there for six months, and eventually I got my own apartment for $495 a month. And I was worried because I didn't think I could pay it. I couldn't afford it. I maybe had three months worth of money saved up for my apartment, and I was like, all right, how am I going to double this rent? How am I going to do this? But that doubling of a payment created more fire, more creativity, more resourcefulness, more courage. So I was like, I got to go ask for more. I got to go give more. I got to be more valu world. I got to overcome my fears more. So every time I leveled up my. My financial payment, I had to become more. I had to embody the person that needed to be able to earn the payments that I needed to pay. And I'm not saying, well, if I want to become a millionaire, I just got to have expense 100 grand worth of expenses every month so I can become that quickly. No, don't do that. Do not. Do not put yourself in financial burden, stress, that's not a good thing. But if there's incremental pressure, I think that is a good thing. I'm not saying you need to be like screwing yourself over and working 24 hours a day to accomplish this. That's not freedom, that's not manifesting. But these moments make you who you are. And again, just because people have money doesn't mean they're bad. It doesn't mean. Also people who have money can do bad things as well. But I don't want that to be your script and your narrative. You've got to be understanding that you can be, you can manifest, you can make more, and you can be good as well. One of the hardest parts about B2B.

Step number three, while you're manifesting things wrong is that gratitude and generosity is the true gateway to abundance. Gratitude and generosity is the true gateway to abundance. Now, you could apply this to love, you can apply this to relationships, you can apply this to health, money. And again, I'm going to go from a quote from my friend Dr. Tara Swart, neuroscientist, who talks all about manifesting and the neuroscience of manifesting and how it really works based on the brain and the neuroscience. She says the brain changes according to what we focus on. Gratitude primes your brain to see more opportunity. Let me say this again to you. The brain changes according to what we focus on. Gratitude primes your brain to see more opportunity. So what this means is you attract what you radiate. Wherever your energy is right now, you're attracting based on that energetic frequency and radiation. Again, remember the earlier quote, you attract based on your psychological wounds. So if you are wounded psychologically, emotionally, you're going to attract based on that, you might attract some things not so good, maybe some other things good. But if you're radiating energetically from a place of wholeness, from a place of poise, calm, confidence, clarity, vision, leadership, Accountability, responsibility, integrity. You are radiating higher levels of frequency. When you're living in a space of love, gratitude and generosity. You are radiating a frequency that just is a magnet for attracting more of what you want, more great opportunities. Generosity isn't just giving money away to people because they ask for it. It's showing up fully for people, being present, connecting with people, looking in their eyes, listening to them intently, sharing ideas, spending quality time with people. Generosity isn't just like, let me write you a check and here you go. It's. It's really being there for yourself generously and being there for the people around you generously. This is what makes the world, as cliche as it sounds, a better place. By being present, connected, loving, giving and generous. And gratitude makes your current life just feel richer. You're just abundant when you're grateful because you see things. You could be outside on a walk and see a tree and say, man, I'm so grateful for this tree because it's giving me oxygen, it's allowing me to breathe, it's cleaning the air so I can have better air. Thank you, tree. You can be grateful for the person that smiled walking down the street, someone who just said something kind and gave you a compliment. You can be grateful for the smallest of things, the dog that you know cuddled up next to you on your legs and like, let you pet it or whatever. For the littlest of things and the biggest of things. Gratitude makes your current life feel rich, feel expansive, feel abundant, feel worth it. And wherever you put your energy is where you put your attention and your focus. So you put your attention and focus on gratitude, it's going to expand and create more of that in your life. You know, I'm a big fan of giving. Once I started making real money, I remember thinking to myself, okay, I've been doing this for like four or five years and I'm starting to make some good money for myself. Like again, I was living in, I was living below my means. I was living 4.95amonth. I had no car, I was walking everywhere. I was saving everything because I was afraid to go back and be poor. I didn't want to be poor on my sister's couch. So I just hoarded my money for a few years. Everything I made, put in the bank, I was kind of afraid again. My money story created my money, personality style. Everything I talk about in this book to allow you to heal your money wounds, to create peace and freedom around money is the key. So make sure you get this book as well, because it talks about how to heal the psychological money wounds that are blocking you from abundance. But after about four or five years, I was like, I just felt called to do more. I was like, okay, I've stacked some money, I've saved it, and all I do is work and walk because I didn't have a car. Still, I was making money, but living like a broke college kid, essentially eating ramen and, like, walking everywhere, because I was like, ah, I don't want to lose any money. And after about four or five years, I said, I feel like I want to start giving back. And I don't want to just give randomly to whoever is asking for money. But, like, what means something to me. What means something to me is I saw a speech on an event of a guy named Adam Braun, who created an organization called Pencils of Promise. And he built schools all over the world in countries that were developing countries. And I saw his story about why he started building schools and the impact it made on these young kids who didn't have a place to go to school, who didn't have a building, who didn't have a little hut that it could go into and learn. And when he was traveling around the world, he would carry pencils with him and he would give kids pencils. And the reason he did that is because one kid, he asked a kid, what do you want? And he said, I just want a pencil. And when he handed him the pencil, this kid lit up like it was like he won a million dollars by getting a pencil for free from my friend Adam Braun. And Adam said that it sparked an imagination and awe and a wonder inside of this kid in that moment, because he could see the potential for learning, for studying, for school, of what it could create for him to get out of the poverty and the experience that he was in in that moment. And then he started building schools. He built a school for that kid later. And I was like, wow. You know, I struggled in school growing up, but at least I had school. At least I had an opportunity to learn. And there's so many kids around the world that don't have a place to go to learn basic education, and they will always be blocked from opportunities in life without a basic education. And I was like, this is a cause that I could get behind. And when I met him after he gave this speech, I go, I want to build a school for you. And three months later, we donated the money and we built a school. I think six months after that. And he said, most people come up to me and say they want to build a school, but most people never take action and actually follow through on it. Thank you for being your word. And I got to go visit that school a couple years later. And you see 100 kids joyful, happy, and you can fast forward 10, 15, 20 years, and you can see what these kids could potentially be creating in their communities, in their cities, for their families, for their countries, and how they could be living new dreams because you wanted to add value and give back. And I want you to be thinking about how you can be generous in your life. And again, you don't have to go build schools. You don't have to cure cancer. You don't have to donate to every charity. You don't have to do all that. But how can you be generous in your life? And what can you set as an intention for this year of what you want to be generous with? Because when you say, I want to donate $100, $1,000, I want to donate $5,000 this year to this cause that I really care about. What you're saying and what you're signaling to the universe and to your future self is this is really important to be able to find a way to serve this cause. These people, these animals, nature, the planet, whatever it is that you want to serve, you care about. It's coming from your heart. And you say, I'm going to serve this cause, and I want to donate this much in the next six months or 12 months. It's going to give you more purpose in your life. It's going to give you a sense of urgency. It's going to give you more pressure to say, who do I need to become to make this money, to take this time off so I can donate my time to find resources to have courage to go out there and add value to this cause. And when you live from that state, it's just going to make you a better person. It's going to allow you to attract more opportunities in your life as well. And again, we're talking about why you're manifesting things wrong. It's because so many people are trying to do these steps backwards, or they're trying to do a few of them, but they don't go deep. And the fourth key to really how to manifest the right way is that your energy is currency and you need to raise your frequency to a new level of energy. I love this quote from Maya Angelou, who said, people will forget. People will what you said. People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. I Wonder why this quote always gets me. And I think it's because I never felt like I was a smart kid. And I never felt like I knew what to say. And I never felt like I had the accolades or I was cool. I was kind of always like picked on and just, I was like the goofy, tall, skinny kid that just couldn't speak that well and was always in the bottom of my class. I was in special needs classes all through high school. So they would take me separate with a couple other kids who were kind of falling behind. And we would have tutors during lunch when other kids were at recess and kids would walk by the room and they would laugh at me. And it just never felt like, never felt like I was smart enough, never felt like I was good enough or talented enough, good looking enough. Like all these things, like I didn't have any friends. It was just kind of like, huh? And then when I remember hearing this quote, people will forget what you said, but people. And people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. When I heard that, I think I heard this like I was 16 or 17 when I first heard it. And I remember thinking after I heard this quote, I have a chance. I have a chance then because I'm never going to be the smartest, I'm never going to be the most talented, I'm never going to be the most handsome. Or like, people are not going to like me for my looks or whatever it might be. But maybe I could find a way to ask really good questions. Maybe I could listen to people. Maybe I can just bring positive energy and be kind and generous and giving and grateful and appreciative. And maybe if people feel good around me because I'm generous and compassionate and kind and curious and a good listener, then they'll never forget that. And when people never forget how you made them feel, they want to be around you. They want to create opportunities for you. They want to see you win, they want to see you succeed. When you make people feel like crappy and not good when you're around them, they don't want to help you. They want to get away from you. They want to repel you. So we need to be thinking about raising our energy and our frequency to create more and to attract more. Because energy is currency and you need to raise your frequency to match higher levels of frequency and energy that support your vision and your dreams. Show up with energy, attitude and effort. You know, it's interesting, there's a study out there and I'm going to mess up these stats. But there's a study out there that shows that wait staff waiter staff at restaurants when they introduce themselves by first name and when they ask the person sitting down or the group sitting down what their names are and they say them back and they also acknowledge them for the orders that they make and they say oh I like the salad, that's a great choice Sarah, that's a great choice Carl whatever her name is and they say that's a great choice and they send them by the name and they tell them their name. They have done studies where they are given more tips, up to 15 to 23% more than people that don't say their name and acknowledge them for the order choice that they made. And that doesn't take much. It just takes raising your energy and your frequency to show you care. So what can you do in your life today to show you care more? That allows you to attract more in your life as well.

The fifth thing your purpose isn't found, it's built again. Dr. Tara Swart. We're talking about her a lot today. The neuroscientist who really studies manifestation from a neuroscience point of view says neuroplasticity means you can literally rewire your brain to become who you want to be. Purpose isn't a lightning bolt, it's a muscle you build by saying yes, showing up and evolving. So what does that mean? Just because your past has held you back or blocked you or made you feel like you're not worthy enough, neuroplasticity means you can rewire your brain to become who you want to become. If you would have told me from my 8 year old self when I was 8 years old, a number of things had happened in my life. I was sexually abused by a man that I didn't know when I was five. At the ages of eight until 12, my brother went to a prison for four and a half years and I went to visit his prison almost every single weekend during visiting hours. And I was surrounded by convicts in prison for four and a half years. And life was challenging during those four and a half years because growing up in a small town, I wasn't allowed to have any friends because everyone knew that my older brother was in prison and therefore I was a bad kid too. So no parents would let their friends hang out with me for four and a half years. It hurt our family. My parents went through a lot of shame and guilt. My brother went through a lot of shame and guilt. He got out on early behavior. He's transformed his Life. This was 25 years ago and it's made him better. But man, if you would have talked to me when I was 8 years old visiting a prison for the first time or 12 years old, still visiting a prison, not having any friends, going through the abuse that I went through, feeling unsafe emotionally, being in the bottom of my class, being made fun of, picked on. I never would have thought that life would end up the way it is. And it wasn't until I really started getting into sports more and having coaches and having teams to surround myself with more positive, empowering goal setting and structure and organization where I started to become greater and see how I could become greater. Every single season of life, you can rewrite your story. You don't have to be your past. You don't have to stay stuck in those painful memories of the past. They can be a memory, you don't have to block them. They can be a memory that you can say, look what I overcame to get here and use it as an empowering memory, man, look what I was able to create for myself. That creation creates confidence. To go from that weak kid to where I'm at today just builds repetitions of confidence of how much courage I'd have and overcome from the pain of how much I had to take on my life every single day. All these things I had to overcome. It was like, oh, man, this is powerful. This can be empowering if I'm willing to rewrite this. So take note of all the lessons in each season of your life and look at where you're at right now and just lean into them. It's okay if you don't know what your purpose is, but the goal that you should have right now is, how can I be purpose if I don't know my purpose? How can I be purpose? And being Purpose means showing up positively, showing up generously, showing up with gratitude and appreciation for life, showing up with a joy for life, an expression of like, man, it's great to be alive and how can I add value? That's what this is about. Purpose grows from contribution, not from completion. So it's not about, oh, I need to contemplate my life. I need to complete something and then I'll feel purposeful. It's about showing up and just being joy every single day. That's purpose. The sixth thing you need to speak to your money, love and your purpose like they're people. Now, this may sound a little weird, but Rhonda Byrne says your feelings are your greatest tool to help you create your life, your thoughts create your feelings. Now, there's a story I talk about, and I talk about it a lot from this book, Make Money Easy. As I just went through this process around money is. I want you to ask yourself right now, wherever you're sitting, wherever you're watching this right now, if money was a person and they showed up in your life in this moment, they walked in the room, they walked in front of you. And the idea of everything you think about money is, was in a person's form and it walked in front of you, how would you respond? How would you think? How would you feel? What would you say? How would you act if money were a person, how would you respond? Would you be excited to see money and grateful? Would you be nervous and scared? Would you hate money and say, get away from me? How would you react and respond? I'd love to hear your comment below on how you would respond. I asked someone in their late 20s, I said, if money walked in the door and you were at a restaurant, what would you do? And this person said, I would walk up and go to the bar and hide. I would leave my seat and hide by the bar. And then I would start talking bad about money behind its back as I was walking in. And then if it came up to me, I would act like I was his friend. Then I would use and abuse money when I needed money, and then I would ghost it if it ever reached out to me. And I was like, wow, this is a very descriptive experience, an honest experience. Thank you for sharing. It sounds like you have a very unhealthy relationship with money. And they were like, yes, I do. I was like, well, at least you're self aware. That's good. But our money relationship, the relationship we have with money and how we interpret money is going to impact whether we're manifesting and abundant, creating more abundance of it in our lives, or we're blocking it with every situation we see it. So you need to be thinking about, if money were a person and it walked in, how would I respond? And again, this goes back to your money story and your money personally style. We need to be healing and mending this relationship that we have with money, with love, with health, with family. We need to be mending this because you attract people, you attract money based on the psychological wound you have with that thing or with that person or with that idea of that thing. So once you start to heal and become whole psychologically and emotionally within you, that's when you can start to create abundance outside of you, create a flow coming to you. But otherwise we're going to be blocking things from not shifting that psychological wound.

And the seventh and final thing is that the richest life is one where you feel free. If you want to manifest correctly, the richest life is one where you feel free. I don't know if you've ever heard this, but inner peace is the new rich. Most people want to have cars and they think about buying a home and they want to get fancy watches and they want to have all the bling and they want to be able to spend money on fancy vacations and they think they want all these things. But in reality, inner peace is the new rich. Because with all those things, if you are stressed, if you are constantly living in fight or flight mode, if you are overwhelmed, if you don't feel lovable, if you don't feel enough, then all the money in the world, all the fancy things, all the Instagram posts of you in front of fancy cars isn't going to mean squat if you don't feel the peace and harmony within you. The greatest gift you can give yourself is inner peace. Is feeling peaceful, is feeling abundant. And again, the richest life is one where you feel free. Because if you feel trapped, if you feel like a prisoner and you have all the money in the world, you're going to suffer. And you might be saying, ah, if people have money, how could they suffer? It's because they haven't figured out the inner world. It's because their mind is playing tricks on them. And yes, life can be better with more money, but it doesn't mean someone doesn't have more problems if they haven't done the inner world, the inner manifesting, the inner healing first. Inner peace is the new rich. Don't just aim to get things, aim to feel free enough to enjoy them when they arrive. And I'll leave you with this final story. I was living in an apartment building in Los Angeles five years ago during the pandemic. It was a really fancy apartment building. It was a nice building and a lot of successful people lived there. There was fancy cars, you know, cars that were worth hundreds of thousands of dollars coming in and out of the driveway every day. There were people of all walks of life, celebrities, billionaires. People had second apartments there from other homes. They were flying in and out. And one weekend I went away on a trip and I was driving back into the valet to the building and there was a white tent in the valet, in the building, down in front of the building. And I was driving into the valet and the valet attendant came up to get my car to park it. And I jokingly said, someone didn't jump, did they? And he looked at me like a ghost. And he said, yeah, they did, just about an hour ago. And I was like, it like broke my mind because I go, are you serious? Like, someone actually jumped from this building? He was like, yes, and I found out who it was later. And I later found out that this person was worth about a half a billion dollars, was a well known business person in Los Angeles, had all the biggest relationships with celebrities and politicians and had all the success and the accolades, had all the money and yet he didn't have inner peace. And for me that's really sad. It's really sad when someone's driven to accomplish and achieve more, but they don't know how to achieve more within them and they hurt themselves that much. And I don't want this to be you. I don't want you to put up vision boards of making millions of dollars and having fancy watches and cars and vacations without creating inner peace within you first. I don't want you constantly visualizing accomplishing your goals if you're not feeling good with you first. I want you to have everything you want. I want you to go after every goal, every dream. Make all the money you want in the world, but do it from a place of inner peace. Do it from a place of loving and accepting yourself. Do it from a place of knowing you are worthy and loved for where you're at and how you're becoming more to add value to the world. Podcast Summary: The School of Greatness
Episode: This 7 Step Framework Is How I Finally Found Wealth, Love & Purpose
Host: Lewis Howes
Release Date: July 30, 2025
In this empowering episode of The School of Greatness, host Lewis Howes delves deep into a transformative 7-step framework designed to help listeners uncover wealth, love, and purpose in their lives. Drawing insights from expert neuroscientist Dr. Tara Swart and incorporating personal anecdotes, Howes provides a comprehensive guide to manifesting a fulfilling and abundant life.

Lewis Howes introduces the concept that true manifestation begins with self-awareness rather than traditional methods like vision boards or positive affirmations. He emphasizes understanding one's inner narrative—the stories and beliefs that shape our perceptions and actions.
Notable Quote:
"Manifestation doesn't start with a visual reminder or a vision board. It starts with self-awareness."
— Lewis Howes [01:16]
Dr. Tara Swart elaborates that individuals attract people and opportunities that resonate with their psychological wounds. Aligning oneself with a healthy identity and boundaries is crucial to attracting positive relationships and opportunities.
Notable Quote:
"You cannot attract what you're not aligned with."
— Lewis Howes [02:05]

Howes discusses the importance of understanding and rewriting one's money story—the beliefs and experiences that influence financial behavior. By identifying and altering limiting beliefs, individuals can transform their relationship with money, leading to financial freedom and abundance.
Notable Quote:
"When you understand your money story, you understand your personality style today around money and then you understand what's blocking you from the future vision you want to create."
— Lewis Howes [10:15]
He references his book, Make Money Easy, which delves deeper into healing financial wounds and fostering a healthy money personality.
Timestamp: [20:00]
Gratitude and generosity are highlighted as essential components for attracting abundance. Howes explains that gratitude primes the brain to recognize and seize opportunities, while generosity fosters meaningful connections and a positive energetic frequency.
Notable Quote:
"Gratitude makes your current life just feel richer. You're just abundant when you're grateful because you see things."
— Lewis Howes [20:05]
He shares the inspiring story of Adam Braun, founder of Pencils of Promise, illustrating how small acts of generosity can have profound impacts.

Energy is portrayed as the true currency in life. Howes emphasizes the importance of maintaining a high-frequency state—embodying qualities like love, gratitude, and generosity—to attract positive experiences and relationships.
Notable Quote:
"Energy is currency and you need to raise your frequency to a new level of energy."
— Lewis Howes [25:45]
He shares a poignant story involving a wealthy individual who struggled with inner peace despite immense external success, underscoring the importance of aligning inner well-being with outer achievements.
Timestamp: [40:00]
Purpose emerges through consistent effort, contribution, and the development of one's abilities. Leveraging neuroplasticity, Howes explains that individuals can rewire their brains to cultivate a sense of purpose despite past traumas or setbacks.
Notable Quote:
"Purpose isn't a lightning bolt; it's a muscle you build by saying yes, showing up, and evolving."
— Lewis Howes [40:15]
He recounts his own challenging childhood experiences and how sports and positive influences helped him forge a purposeful path.
Timestamp: [45:30]
Howes introduces a unique technique of treating money, love, and purpose as individuals in one's life. This personification helps in assessing and improving the relationship one has with these crucial aspects.
Notable Quote:
"If money were a person, how would you respond to it?"
— Lewis Howes [46:10]
He shares responses from listeners, highlighting varying degrees of financial self-awareness and the impact of these relationships on one's ability to manifest abundance.
Timestamp: [50:24]
Concluding the framework, Howes asserts that inner peace surpasses material wealth in defining a rich life. He stresses that without inner harmony, external gains lose their significance and can even lead to personal turmoil.
Notable Quote:
"Inner peace is the new rich. The greatest gift you can give yourself is inner peace."
— Lewis Howes [50:50]
He narrates a heartbreaking story of a successful individual who, despite vast wealth, succumbed to inner despair, reinforcing the necessity of balancing external success with internal well-being.
Lewis Howes wraps up the episode by encouraging listeners to implement the 7-step framework to transform their lives. By fostering self-awareness, rewriting limiting beliefs, practicing gratitude and generosity, raising personal energy, building purpose, personifying key life aspects, and seeking inner peace, individuals can unlock their true potential and live abundantly.
Final Encouragement:
"Now it's time to go out there and do something great."
— Lewis Howes [54:58]
