Every year there's a three week period where every kid is obsessed with yoyos and jump ropes because the school made the watch an assembly of cool teenagers jumping rope and yoing yo. Think back on your youth, the yoyo you'd use usually ushered by young yammering yelps of yearning, y'member? Well, those yoyo and fundraiser assemblies were usually a big old marketing gimmick aimed right at the captive audience sitting criss cross apple sauce in an elementary school lunchroom. Pete has some thought about marketing to kids. Don’t forget about pop culture!
