Brian Wolpin’s team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute reported a small trial of a drug that blocks a family of mutant KRAS variants in patients whose tumors had progressed past everything else. Cloudflare cut 1,100 employees - 20% of headcount - on the same earnings call that posted record $639.8 million in Q1 revenue, citing AI productivity gains, while laid-off Oracle workers forfeit up to $1 million in unvested equity. Evergy committed to 4.7 GW of new gas generation through 2044 and cut its planned solar by more than 80%. Same compute demand TSMC just anchored to a gigawatt of offshore wind. Two forty-year bets, opposite directions.
