Ryland Adams
I have big news.
Spencer
So we're taking an entire piece of pumpkin pie.
Ryland Adams
Oh.
Spencer
And then we're.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, come on.
Ryland Adams
Here. Thicker things have spit into smaller holes. My butthole's been hurting too.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, my God.
Ryland Adams
Twins. Oh. Oh, wow. That looks gorgeous. That's a perfect dog. Whoa.
Elizabeth Gordon
Let's get a couple of cakes.
Ryland Adams
Oh, no. Chris is writing notes. Like, we have to cut some things. Elizabeth Gordon, the woman working. Yeah. What are you doing?
Elizabeth Gordon
Texting.
Ryland Adams
About what?
Elizabeth Gordon
Anything. My baby shower.
Ryland Adams
Which you are such a nightmare about.
Spencer
I.
Ryland Adams
Because you like you.
Elizabeth Gordon
Whatever.
Ryland Adams
It's coming up. It's gonna be a great time.
Elizabeth Gordon
I've been so chill. She's like, how have I not been chill?
Ryland Adams
You don't want to be involved, but you want to be involved, but you don't want to know.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't want to be involved.
Ryland Adams
And then I got in trouble.
Elizabeth Gordon
How have I tried to be involved?
Ryland Adams
Sometimes I just ask a preference. I'm. Would you prefer this or that? And you're like, it's a surprise. And I'm like, is it. It's a sprinkle.
Elizabeth Gordon
I thought it was a surprise.
Ryland Adams
Whatever. I have two games planned. Since you love games.
Elizabeth Gordon
I know everything about it. You've told me everything. There is no surprise.
Ryland Adams
No, you don't.
Spencer
Yes.
Ryland Adams
Huh. I literally have lots of surprises.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is JoJo coming?
Ryland Adams
I mean. No.
Elizabeth Gordon
Then I'm not going.
Ryland Adams
No. No. JoJo, this party's over. Where is she? Isn't she, like, in the uk?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, but, like, you guys are close, personal friends. You could bring JoJo, add it to the list.
Ryland Adams
Should I add it to the list? I mean, that would be. How could I create a stage that quickly?
Elizabeth Gordon
She is the stage.
Ryland Adams
I know, but what about the.
Elizabeth Gordon
She could do Betty Davis Eyes with a guitar or just get a drum set. Get a drum kit. She can know. She can use Max and Jets drum kit.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Lizzie, the woman who doesn't believe in karma, which is very weird, by the way. You don't believe that the energy that you put out comes back to you in some way?
Elizabeth Gordon
I totally do. That's why I'm saying I'm physically ruined because I talk about ugly babies.
Ryland Adams
Oh, okay. Yeah. So you do believe in karma to.
Elizabeth Gordon
Some degree, but I don't think in, like, an overwhelming way.
Ryland Adams
Well, Lizzie's karma this morning was that I showed up 45 minutes early to be prepared to get for the first.
Elizabeth Gordon
Time in five weeks. Ryland showed up 45 minutes.
Ryland Adams
Get a key. I don't care. Get a key.
Elizabeth Gordon
How do I get a key?
Ryland Adams
Lizzie can't even remember.
Elizabeth Gordon
How do I get a key?
Ryland Adams
Elizabeth can't remember the gate code to my house. This. That has been the same for five.
Elizabeth Gordon
Maybe that's because I can mind my own business.
Ryland Adams
So I can't imagine giving her a key and then putting her in charge of turning off the alarm when she.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you can't trust me. Maybe you could trust Chris for that. Number two. Chris and I have shown up and sat in our cars in the parking lot for 30 to 40 minutes waiting for your ass.
Ryland Adams
Why are you guys showing up 30 to. Then tell me then why?
Elizabeth Gordon
And then we finally come here at a time when it works for us to not sit in our cars in the parking lot, and you're like, is everybody. I'm early. For the first time, if I mention I'm gonna be a. I just wanted.
Ryland Adams
A little bit of attention. I wanted. I wanted.
Elizabeth Gordon
Honestly, we give you the attention. We're always like, where you at?
Ryland Adams
I. No, no. I wanted the attention for being early. I wanted the accolades. Like, oh, my gosh, he's early. To accommodate us, who are always.
Elizabeth Gordon
You've conditioned us to not expect that.
Ryland Adams
Okay?
Elizabeth Gordon
So we have. We have evolved.
Ryland Adams
And honestly, I didn't even want you guys here. I was enjoying this office space alone.
Elizabeth Gordon
Like, for someone who sent 25 text messages to us. Where are you guys?
Ryland Adams
I said, one group text. Just being like, I'm here. Was it one?
Elizabeth Gordon
Was it one?
Ryland Adams
Well, no, it escalated after. You guys were crazy. But then I, as a normal person. We were crazy as a normal person. I then go and I check in on Elizabeth's location. Like, is she really late on the day that I'm early? No, she's across the street at Hank's Vehicles period. And I say, hey, mamacita, what are you getting me? And she said, nothing. So you know what I did? I stole the sprouts that she put to the side, and I burped them in her face. You know what's worse is that karma.
Elizabeth Gordon
Fucking maniac. For that.
Ryland Adams
A sprout burp? Have you ever had just sprouts ate like, you're a alpaca.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's like.
Ryland Adams
And then burped in someone's face. I didn't even mean to, honestly. She was, like, preparing her ad read for the day, and I was just standing nearby, and it was one of those. Like, it came in my mouth, and it wasn't even loud, but I opened my mouth, and then it was really.
Elizabeth Gordon
Dude, here's the deal. This is probably the last episode of the Sub you're ever going to see.
Ryland Adams
Don'T manifest that you're strong. This is such a good job.
Elizabeth Gordon
I love it. And have to quit because I'm petty.
Ryland Adams
What do you mean?
Elizabeth Gordon
Just kidding.
Ryland Adams
Just because of the sprouts.
Elizabeth Gordon
That was the final straw. I was ready to walk out on. On the way in.
Ryland Adams
If you would have brought me a bagel that was without sprouts. There would have been no sprout burp.
Elizabeth Gordon
I ordered a bagel without sprouts. I ordered a bagel without sprouts. But here's the deal. I have very specific obnoxious orders.
Ryland Adams
We know.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. So when I went into the bagel place this morning to order this bagel, I could not in good conscience do it twice. Do you know what I'm saying? Like you can just be that annoying motherfucker.
Ryland Adams
I don't need any modifications.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, your bagel is nothing but modifications. The thing that I order for you is all modifications.
Ryland Adams
Well, that's because it's your husband's order. No, no.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm not getting you in normal order. You love that.
Ryland Adams
Fine.
Elizabeth Gordon
You love the modifications.
Ryland Adams
Where are you getting all these pretty dresses?
Elizabeth Gordon
Nuuly.
Ryland Adams
Really? And they won't sponsor you? No, just like American High. You scream and scream and scream about a and they just won't give you the attention.
Elizabeth Gordon
Listen, like, what do I have to do something violent?
Ryland Adams
What's. I mean, what's the update?
Elizabeth Gordon
I have to come to your house. American High is playing very cool considering how badly they must want us.
Ryland Adams
Well, okay. Why did you believe that a company wanted to work with our film? Like, didn't you have contact from within the inside?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yes.
Ryland Adams
And so have you circled back since we've caused.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I'm scared. I'm scared to circle back now.
Ryland Adams
Circle back and see. See me? I'll take over as a parent.
Elizabeth Gordon
Just. I think we should just get bigger and bolder with our attack. No, I think we need to equally until we get our way. And here's the thing that your approach didn't work.
Ryland Adams
I think we should take my lead. You see me with the person on the inside and then I say, hey, Juliet. What's her name? Don't tell me, hey Juliet. Let's start figuring out how we can make this a reality. We're going to have a big return for you because people are going to show up in a big way to support me as an actor that you all know and is talented and great.
Elizabeth Gordon
Definitely not cc you. I think the better entry point is yours hasn't worked because we haven't harassed and bullied hard enough. We have to go deeper and harder. Like, there's probably a 19 year old running American highs.
Ryland Adams
Let's hit CEO.
Elizabeth Gordon
That's what I'm saying.
Ryland Adams
Okay, let's go on link. This is what I did when I was unemployed. I have looking for a job. This is how you got to get crafty, girls. If you want something different for your life than you have right now, you've got to find the scrappy way in, period. I would always go on LinkedIn because that's where you can access people's information. And then I'd find email. I'd put together a really nicely produced video, and I would email them the video with, like, something that would catch their eye. And that's how we need to act now.
Elizabeth Gordon
Let's do it.
Ryland Adams
All right.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay. Period. I have another. I have another psycho plan that I'm gonna pull the trigger on.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Right now. Does it involve them?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, but it's pretty great. Can I just share it?
Ryland Adams
Yeah. You're looking so plump.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm not doing.
Ryland Adams
Well, we'll get to that.
Elizabeth Gordon
So I want this manager at this management company for my screenplay writing. And I have their address because you know how, like, on Instagram, sometimes people will post, like, join this book chain, and I'll give you the address of the last person who joined the book chain, and you send that person a book, and then you'll get three books from whoever sends whatever. Like, it's like chain mail for books.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Sounds annoying, but I get it.
Elizabeth Gordon
So I signed up for that because this woman is a manager at a management company that I want to be managed by.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
So I was like, I'm in. I'm in book club. It's like, I don't want to be in your book club. You guys are all. And honestly, the books I got, I was like, I was right. I didn't want to be in those books.
Ryland Adams
It's like, I already tried starting a book club, and my partner won't. Won't entertain it. He literally won't. We literally. We have so much stuff filmed that we've never released because it's just bad. Yeah. Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
All right. Okay. So I got the number, the address for this manager that I want to represent me. So I have his address because I'm a psycho and I sent him a book. But I've been thinking, I want to print up a milk carton. And on the milk carton is a QR code for my screenplay, Friends Forever. And on it Is a picture of my face, and it says, you're missing client.
Ryland Adams
What does the milk represent?
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, back in the day when kids went missing, their faces would be put on milk curtains. Oh, is that not a great idea?
Ryland Adams
Does the screenplay deal with missing children?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm the missing client. Oh, no client that you're missing.
Ryland Adams
I just don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
Reference. So it would be like my headshot. And then I would say, missing your missing client.
Ryland Adams
I like the way I got my job at Clever was.
Elizabeth Gordon
It doesn't seem like it works if you have to explain it, though. But I'm wondering if this is Ryland specific.
Ryland Adams
I mean, do you guys get the milk carton reference? Yes or no?
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay. Just wondering.
Ryland Adams
I want to know.
Elizabeth Gordon
I want to know too.
Ryland Adams
Just let us know. But, like, I. I personally, I probably already told the story, but I like getting face to face or as close to face to face as with the reality of what I want. When I wanted a job at Clevver, I made my video leaning on my dining room table, counting down the top five reasons they should hire me to work at Clevver, period. And then I put my headshot, I put it in a folder, I put all of my materials, and I walked into the doors of Clever, hit their receptionist with, hey, I'm looking for the executive producer here. Is he available? She said, no. And I said, okay, well, can you leave this with him?
Elizabeth Gordon
Period?
Ryland Adams
And then when did you leave a thumb drive? No, it was a folder with my headshot. And then there was, like, a CD that you could put it. I mean, it was when I was 19. It's 14 years ago.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, my.
Ryland Adams
14 years ago. 14 years ago. Can you imagine?
Elizabeth Gordon
Your dreams are a teenager now, and look at how they've blossomed crazy into a. An aggressive set where everyone feels uncomfortable because Sally's breathing down their neck.
Ryland Adams
We love Sally. Sally is.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, yes.
Ryland Adams
I'm obsessed with Sally. And I'm finally feeling great again. Like, I'm feeling, in a way, when the kids were sick and we were all down and out and miserable, and I was treading water, trying to stay afloat. I was really getting sad just because it's like, oh, but finally I wake up, like, early, ready to tackle the day again, and I'm just like, oh, there she is. Hey, nice to see ya.
Elizabeth Gordon
Hey.
Ryland Adams
Hey, nice to see you. Meanwhile, my bestie, best friend's dying.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is that me?
Ryland Adams
Yeah. When I saw publicly when I saw you yesterday. And like, Bill, we had, like, a baby play date.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
And Billy's like, my Kids and Billy are just running all over the place. Lizzie's, like, 18 months pregnant. Just like I thought. If you get any bigger, how are you gonna manage this?
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't think I can.
Ryland Adams
It's a lot.
Elizabeth Gordon
That's why I'm trying to teach him how to walk with purpose, you know, like, if you can just walk with purpose.
Ryland Adams
Well, you were laughing at me yesterday. When I get a little. I get stern with my boundaries, and Lizzie just couldn't. She just, like, laughs so hard, but I'm like, but that's how we can productively play in environments that aren't.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, your kids are very well, like, well behaved. They mind what you say.
Ryland Adams
Like, we have our courtyard, and there's, like, steps down from the courtyard, and we're playing in the courtyard. They can't go off the courtyard. And that's how we maintain fun. Like, they can do whatever they want as long as they step down. And then when we step down, it's a different ballpark. Then crack away basketball. Then we're doing. So I'll be like, no, get back. And then Lizzie's, like, dying at my boundary.
Elizabeth Gordon
But it works.
Ryland Adams
It's that tone.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's no back. And the boys get really slow.
Ryland Adams
And you don't repeat yourself a lot of times.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you can't repeat yourself because it's why.
Ryland Adams
And if they don't do it and I pick them up, and then if they try to test it again, I say, if you do it again, we're going inside and they stop. Period.
Elizabeth Gordon
Period.
Ryland Adams
Okay, you were talking.
Elizabeth Gordon
Was I?
Ryland Adams
And then I had to, like, override it with my baggage.
Elizabeth Gordon
What do you want me to say?
Ryland Adams
Just how. Oh, you're talking about how you're unwell.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I'm unwell. I've had a headache for, like, five days. I've got knots in my shoulders that are so profound, you wouldn't even understand. I was trying so hard to get my ish together so that I could come play at your house. Because honestly, it's better when I leave the house. Like, it's easier to be uncomfortable out of the house if you're in the house. It gets worse and worse and worse. And so during nap time, I had, like, the heating pad wrapped around my neck. I had a red light laser helmet on because I thought it's. It's mostly supposed to stimulate hair growth, but if it's stimulating anything, it was like, maybe it'll help my headache. So I had the red light helmet on.
Ryland Adams
Do you not have those? Like, I use the, like the heat of all rice pack, like, you know. Oh, I mean, throw them in the microwave.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't have one of those, but I would love one of those.
Ryland Adams
They're so good. Every time I have a headache, I heat it up and I just sit there.
Elizabeth Gordon
I had to. Yeah, I couldn't lay down because if I laid down, it got worse and I was just sobbing like, I've never been in so much pain that I'm just sobbing. It's like a relentless.
Ryland Adams
Like, what hurts? A lot of people were asking for a pregnancy update, so you might as well just tell us where you're at.
Elizabeth Gordon
My shoulders hurt. My tramp stamp region really, really hurts. Walking's getting hard. I'm starting to have Braxton Hicks contractions, which doesn't mean anything. I'm peeing a lot. My butthole hurts. And I definitely have hemorrhoids.
Ryland Adams
My butthole's been hurting too.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh my God. Thank God for that pink stuff. My feet really hurt.
Ryland Adams
I'm too lazy to put the pink stuff on.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, you can't.
Ryland Adams
It's just like a mess.
Elizabeth Gordon
Why do you mean it's a mess?
Ryland Adams
I mean, you gotta like.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not a mess.
Ryland Adams
I mean, but then you're like, your fingers have been in your assholes.
Elizabeth Gordon
How many fingers are you using?
Ryland Adams
I mean, typically just one, but it's like, if there's any on the inner, then it's like you have to stick it in a little. And then it's like, I'm paranoid. I'm like scrubbing. Hold on.
Elizabeth Gordon
You're putting your finger in your butt?
Ryland Adams
If there's an inner hemorrhoid, I mean, I don' know what I'm dealing with.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I'm not putting it inside myself.
Ryland Adams
I only have hemorrhoids exclusively on the outside.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, my hemorrhoids are definitely innards, but I'm.
Ryland Adams
You need to stick it in a little. You don't.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you don't. Baby, are you serious?
Ryland Adams
You got the pink cream needs to get a little up in there.
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, I'm sure it is. Getting up in there.
Ryland Adams
How? And then your underwear or a mat, it's just like, everything's a mess.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's a nightmare. When I go to the gynecologist and they're like, well, we're going to do a little cervical exam. I was like, no, we're not. Cuz my is covered in some pink right now and I'd rather not have you see how up that situation is. Even though you're going to Slice me open and pull this child out. I don't want you seeing my hemorrhoids unless you're gonna fix them. You know what? My friend is having a horrible butthole situation, has a horrible butthole infection, and they had to cut it out. Like an infection, Like a scoop of ice cream from his butthole. And the wound was.
Ryland Adams
So your friend, does he live with you?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, it's Baby Ky. That's what we call him on the streets. So Baby Ky had. Just has an open wound, like 3 inches by 3 inches, right around on his butt.
Ryland Adams
Is he gay?
Elizabeth Gordon
No. It's pretty funny, though.
Ryland Adams
It seems like a big. Oh, but shitting would be awful.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, yeah.
Ryland Adams
He's fucked.
Elizabeth Gordon
He almost died, and then his wound went septic and they were like, you're fucked. You got to come to the hospital. Yeah, like a couple weeks ago. The pictures were insane.
Ryland Adams
How do you reroute your shit when something like that.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not his butthole. It's butthole adjacent.
Ryland Adams
Oh, my God.
Elizabeth Gordon
But honestly, I don't know how he's shitting because it's like. I don't know how he would sit to shit. He has a huge open wound. It's crazy. It's crazy. I wish we could show pictures of it.
Ryland Adams
You got pictures?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
What?
Elizabeth Gordon
Of course.
Ryland Adams
Okay, well, I have big news.
Elizabeth Gordon
What's your big news?
Ryland Adams
Remember last week when we discovered Chris has a client named Chit?
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I. Yeah. I'm not even gonna pretend like I don't already know. I know.
Ryland Adams
We were at dinner the other night. I was enjoying an olive oil martini. It was good. Yeah, it had some lemon grind olive oil. I was like, this is a parents night out. We don't have kids. Our husbands are at home dealing with that. Yeah. I was like, I'm having an olive oil martini. And then I was like, elizabeth, I have a story to tell you.
Elizabeth Gordon
And then he goes, but I can't tell you, so I'm gonna save it for the sip. And I was like, you don't get to do that.
Ryland Adams
But then I was like, but I have to. You're not gonna be.
Elizabeth Gordon
You're gonna forget, though, so it's fine. It's like, no, you're gonna forget. I'm gonna remember.
Ryland Adams
If I was gonna forget, I wouldn't be tell. And I told you I can't tell you. And she said, no, I'll act like I never knew. Here she is acting like she knows I couldn't act. Why can't you? You're trying to propose a Christmas movie.
Elizabeth Gordon
What?
Ryland Adams
What?
Elizabeth Gordon
What is the relationship between the Christmas movie and shit?
Ryland Adams
You just said you can't act.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh.
Ryland Adams
And I'm like, you're trying to act in a Christmas movie? Speaking of acting, I might have a big break soon because Shane is gonna execute on making something, and he put, like, a low key part in a role for me. But then when he, like, expanded on that, that part expanded, and now I, like, feel like he can't recast me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wait, can he cast me?
Ryland Adams
I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
You gotta know. You sleep.
Ryland Adams
This is my husband nepotism.
Elizabeth Gordon
Get me some husband nepotism. I want in. Does he need a miserable pregnant woman?
Ryland Adams
It's like, he's like, the role that was once for you is now kind of big. And I. I thought, well, I don't know if I can.
Elizabeth Gordon
Was Lizzie available? Did she do it?
Ryland Adams
I don't know. And he's like, I don't know, maybe we'll do the table reading and see if you land. And I thought maybe you should write me a smaller part. I'm fine, I'm fine. Just starting small and working my way up.
Elizabeth Gordon
Talk about chit.
Ryland Adams
Talk about chit. Okay. Chit?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. Is that his name?
Ryland Adams
Well, that's his character's name.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, okay.
Ryland Adams
But I had not come across his sketches. And so when he was back there trying to find a chair for himself after Chris was kneeling on the floor like a psychopath on wood floor.
Elizabeth Gordon
Let's give some backstory.
Ryland Adams
Too old to be feeling on wood.
Elizabeth Gordon
Chris, you're jumping into it like a crazy person. It's like we're on cocaine again. Here's the deal. Last week, Chris was getting calls and text messages during the show. We were like, chris, are you joking me? He goes, it's my client, Chit. And we were like, who? And then he goes, oh, do you know my client Chit? And we were like, no. And then cut.
Ryland Adams
Looking for the black person in here. Yeah. Oh, yeah, right.
Chris
Person here.
Ryland Adams
Oh, right. What is that? He had one. He had. Well, now he's doing very well now, but he had. I guess the origins were that that this one sketch went viral. And so Chris walks in days later, after we filmed the sip, when we're filming the Shane Dawson podcast. Are you following?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
And what? Spencer's here or Shane, focus up, focus up. Focus, focus, focus. And so Chris walks in and he goes, oh, by the way, like, Chit is actually Jay Renshaw and he knows you. And I go, oh, my God, your client's Jay Renshaw.
Elizabeth Gordon
Ryland Personally knows chit from like 20.
Ryland Adams
Years ago, 15 years ago, back when I was dropping off videos at Clevver, begging for a job. And I always was pissed because Jay Renshaw would book the roles that I wouldn't. Specifically. There was this job called Diary of a Teenage Nobody. And it was somebody's graduate project, I think from maybe usc. But there was a gay character I hadn't like, fully come out yet. And I thought, oh, this is art imitating life. This is gonna be. Because the character was also, like, struggling with realizing his sexual identity and making that his thing, his outer thing, because it is. I never struggled in a crazy way, but there is just this inner thing. When I. When I met you, I was working at Lapun and I.
Elizabeth Gordon
He was not out.
Ryland Adams
I wasn't telling people I wasn't gay, but people would just assume or they'd ask, are you dating? Or whatever. And I just wouldn't really answer. So then when I was ready to come to terms after I had jacked a man off in a car and thought, this is me, I saw rainbows and I thought, this is me. This is. This is the life. It all clicks. This is why I've been running from girls who have been throwing themselves at me. Look out.
Elizabeth Gordon
Cause here I come.
Ryland Adams
You didn't even get that flex in high school. So many women just.
Elizabeth Gordon
And I'm jacking off to the beat I drum.
Ryland Adams
So many women just throwing themselves at me in high school, period. And all my friends being like, why aren't you taking that?
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, this is always crazy to me too. Cause when I met you, a girl I was working with in the juice box was throwing herself at you.
Ryland Adams
Yes.
Elizabeth Gordon
And I was like, he's gay, dude.
Ryland Adams
But I really.
Elizabeth Gordon
I like and I have horrible gaydar.
Ryland Adams
She even took me. She was house sitting at her aunt's house. She took me there. We spent the night, we stayed in the same bed. And she was like, heavily insinuating she wanted something to happen, and I just couldn't do it.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think she would have fucked me at the time as well. She was a weirdo.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Have you ever checked in on her, like, hate her? I mean. Stop. Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, was that too much?
Ryland Adams
I mean. Yes, you can't.
Elizabeth Gordon
She was nasty.
Ryland Adams
Okay? Just.
Elizabeth Gordon
She was toxically nasty.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
She was. Anyway, it's okay for people to be toxically nasty. Just not in my house.
Ryland Adams
It's not that I felt I'm the.
Elizabeth Gordon
Toxic nasty in my house.
Ryland Adams
It's. We know. It's not that I felt any sort of way about being gay. It's that I felt like I maybe it. It felt like, was I lying to these people? And it's like, no, I wasn't lying to them. I just wasn't. I hadn't come to the point in my life in which I was ready to, like, openly discuss with others.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is Chit gay?
Ryland Adams
I don't know. Maybe. I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
This is dangerous.
Ryland Adams
Oh, my gosh. I'm sorry. I literally know nothing. I know nothing. Okay, how does this all lead back to Chit? So Chit's booking the roles that I want chicks. Not is Chick. Chit's a talented actor. Oh, no. Chris is writing notes like, we have to cut some things. Are you texting Chit? He booked the character that I was dying to get right. And then he kept. I mean, he's consistently, like, booked things, so he's a good actor. Yeah. And so I just thought, wow, that's crazy. I do know. I do know Chit. I do know Jay Renshaw. And you know what?
Elizabeth Gordon
Can I see a picture of this guy?
Ryland Adams
I wish him very well. And I also told Chris all day. I was like, well, I want you to tell Chit I'm also a talented actor.
Elizabeth Gordon
Tell Chitty's doing really well.
Ryland Adams
And then I nailed the thumbnail for Shane's podcast. In the first take, Chris took a photo, and Shane was like, that's it. We got it. And I said, chris, you tell Chit. Chris, go tell Chit right now that I'm a talented actress, too. I can do hard things. I'm a good actress, period. Now you have me nervous that he's texting Chit.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, he's pulling up a picture because I don't know what Chit looks like. Careful. Cords, cords.
Chris
This is the character versus. Versus the real him.
Elizabeth Gordon
That's a beautiful man. Chris has been you guys for hours on same casting.
Ryland Adams
Exactly. And he was working.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wow. I hate him, too.
Ryland Adams
I didn't say I hate him.
Elizabeth Gordon
Do you have a podcast? Do you need a co host? I'm just wondering, do you show up early or on time? Will you give me a key to the office?
Ryland Adams
So will Chick give me a role in one of his gigs? We'll see.
Elizabeth Gordon
We both want to work with you.
Ryland Adams
I can't do that. I'd crumble under the pressure.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm so sorry. Something crazy is happening in my back.
Ryland Adams
What do you mean?
Chris
I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
It just hurts so bad.
Ryland Adams
So if anybody can put your belly band on.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, that's not gonna help my back.
Ryland Adams
I thought it relieved the pressure, by the way.
Elizabeth Gordon
I just wanted everyone to know that I'm not just constantly leaning forward to fart a little bit. It's just because I have a crazy cramp in my back that I don't.
Ryland Adams
Know how to manage.
Elizabeth Gordon
But I'm definitely not just farting a little bit. Is something ringing?
Ryland Adams
Are they gonna let him know I'm a good actor?
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know.
Ryland Adams
Chit.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'll let you know when I go interview. I mean, hold on. Chris will ask.
Ryland Adams
No, Chris will tell. Have you seen him since I told you to tell him I'm a good actor? No, you haven't. Okay, Chris. Chris isn't loyal to me at all.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I haven't seen him.
Ryland Adams
You know who is loyal to me? Seatgeek. They have been supporting me and this show for years and years and years. And you already know SeatGeek is the number one rated ticketing app. They have over 28 million downloads. And that's because they're incredible. You can drink.
Elizabeth Gordon
I know, but it's going to be loud.
Ryland Adams
Well, then just take your mic away.
Elizabeth Gordon
That's what I'm doing.
Ryland Adams
SeatGeek has over 70,000 events listed. On SeatGeek, you can see all your favorites in concert. You can see a comedy show, a music festival. Literally anything you want tickets for SeatGeek has got you covered. There's so many incredible things. I think Tate McCrae is on tour. Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Shakira, Dua Lipa, the Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter has added more dates. You're never going to regret going to see live music. I feel like it just gets you out of your head and resets you.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's inspirational. And also, it's not just live music. It's basically any live event. You can get on seeking and see if you need a seat. Call your geek.
Ryland Adams
They're offering you 10% off your tickets when you use our code, the SIP10. Seatgeeks, incredible because they rate every ticket on a scale of 1 to 10. Look for green dots. Green means good, red means bad, and every ticket is backed by their buyer guarantee. SeatGeek, we love you so much. And you guys, don't forget, use code the SIP10 to get 10% off your tickets. All right, Are we ever gonna talk about it? What? The elephant in the room.
Elizabeth Gordon
Let's make that more of a hot topic.
Ryland Adams
I mean, I think we can translate this into hot topics.
Elizabeth Gordon
Seeing Northwest after we saw.
Ryland Adams
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You just ruined the punchline.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, we're gonna get to the punchline. The punchline leads us into Hot Topics. That was what I. That was my point. No, no, no. What?
Ryland Adams
You just ruined the punchline you pulled at me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Edit this, edit this. Rewind, rewind. Take it back.
Ryland Adams
Go. It's Friday night. Lizzie and I.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's Friday night.
Ryland Adams
Lizzy and I decided to have a date in Calabasas at the Commons. First, we're hitting dinner at Superba. Second, we're going to the Calabasas movie theater to see the Taylor Swift movie. We had a great dinner.
Elizabeth Gordon
We had a great dinner.
Ryland Adams
The Blossom. What?
Elizabeth Gordon
I was just gonna say we have to make a public service announcement if you're going to Superba and you think you're gonna get a zucchini squash blossom that's been tempura and it's full of ricotta and it's delicious and delectable.
Ryland Adams
You're wrong.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not tempura. It's just a soggy old flour with some ricotta in it. And honestly, it hits different and not in a good way.
Ryland Adams
It would be. It would be fine had we not known what casualina had to offer.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, it would be everywhere else. Deep fries it and it's like, why wouldn't you? Superba. Why wouldn't you?
Ryland Adams
But the rest of their food was fantastic.
Elizabeth Gordon
The rest of it was fantastic, but low key. Those blossoms sucked.
Ryland Adams
We were sitting out on the patio, perfect weather, blue skies, palm trees behind us, sipping an olive oil martini, having a great time.
Elizabeth Gordon
Until the Blossoms.
Ryland Adams
Oh, the Blossoms happened pretty early on.
Elizabeth Gordon
I know, so. And I had a horrible time.
Ryland Adams
No, I think we recovered. I'm still upset. Those chips are like.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, yeah, they had good. They have good, like, fresh made French onion dip for chips. And it's just delish.
Ryland Adams
We got that pasta that was good. Lizzie wouldn't let me get the hamburger too. She was like, you're trying to do too much. Especially if we want to get popcorn at the movie theater. The popcorn was a little old.
Elizabeth Gordon
The popcorn was a little.
Ryland Adams
The popcorn wasn't great. We still downed a lot of it.
Elizabeth Gordon
We did.
Ryland Adams
Which leads us to Taylor Swift. Hey, girl, how you tubing? What?
Elizabeth Gordon
What do you mean? You want to talk about the album.
Ryland Adams
Now or the movie or the album? Where do you want.
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, it's the same thing.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Is it?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. So here's the deal. The Taylor Swift film, I felt like she should not have charged money for it.
Ryland Adams
I feel like. Well, she said inside of the film, as they were creating and filming the Music video. I think the other co director or the AD or somebody said it's a shame that people can't experience this on the big screen because it is a big production with a big budget. And she thought, well, it can be. And where I think things like where the water Got muddy is I feel like if she was gonna do this, it probably should have been an exclusive release party first because. But I think she didn't want that to tamper with the numbers. Because if Taylor's releasing an album, she want streams and the. The buy through rate to be the highest so she can break not only her own records, but Adele's record. So I think she was like, I want to have my cake and eat it too. With the rollout of the release, which is totally fine.
Elizabeth Gordon
But it's like the film itself. I think the tickets were like $12 a piece, which is cheaper than a regular movie. So like that's kind of cool. And I think you do have to pay something so that you can afford to put the film in theaters.
Ryland Adams
She could have. She could have just like partnered with somebody and had it been the music video play as a trailer before every movie, that could have been an option.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, no, I mean, I liked the event of it all and I loved the behind the scenes of it. I thought that was incredibly cool. I thought it was super empowering as a woman in film to see that. I love listening to her.
Ryland Adams
I don't regret going.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I don't regret going either. I had a lot of fun. I. But it's like all of these things are things that get released on the Internet for free.
Ryland Adams
It's nothing you couldn't access immediately. She actually did quite a big press tour for this. She was hitting all the radio shows, shows in London after I got home from the movie that night. I like search Taylor Swift on YouTube and all the radio shows. She's giving the same information on the radio shows that she talked about in the movie.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
So I think it was more for super fans that just wanted to experience.
Elizabeth Gordon
It together, which I do love a unifying element to it all. But it's like also it's so easy these days to just pull out your phone and like do a little cell phone recording and like, like maybe give us like a little bit like give us a little vlog moment. Like, but just these like super curated sit down talk to cameras that you're giving to everyone anyway. And the lyric videos that everyone has access to anyway, but charging us money for it was a little bit like, sorry, I don't.
Ryland Adams
I didn't know my.
Elizabeth Gordon
You're crazy.
Ryland Adams
Maybe Carlos. Who's Carlos? It's Chit. Okay. Do you hear me? He's like, I heard. You're trying to ruin my public image. We need to talk. Sorry, Jay. Oh, shoot. That derailed my. Is Billy okay? No, Billy's not okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, Billy's fine. His father is in danger.
Ryland Adams
Okay. I'm sure he's fine.
Elizabeth Gordon
Billy has a short day at school today And Joe's like 12:45. Right. And it's like, no. 12:30. They're gonna charge me a million dollars for that. 15 minutes and there's no aftercare.
Ryland Adams
Where were you? So Char. Okay. You were in the movie talking about the movie theater.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. I just feel like they shouldn't have paid. We shouldn't. They shouldn't have charged us 12 dol. Dollars for something that's all being provided for free on the Internet.
Ryland Adams
And she did do something similar to this on Disney plus during the pandemic. I think it was for. Was it the tortured poets department folklore and Evermore. Yes. Where she taught. She did the same thing essentially. And just put it straight to one of the streamers. Yeah, I would have appreciated that. I don't regret going, but I agree. It's like. I think it was specifically for super fans because it is all things you have to access to.
Elizabeth Gordon
And like I said, I loved all the BTS moments. I loved the making of the music video.
Ryland Adams
I really like on YouTube soon, like the behind the scenes. I'm sure she'll eventually put on YouTube. The music video itself was also on YouTube before the movie was even out of theaters.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. I do get wanting to see the music video on the big screen. I'm just saying make it up. Make the all. The whole package worth it.
Spencer
Right.
Ryland Adams
I think, like, pivoting to the album, I think Taylor was in an impossible position. I think being at the height of the most famous pop star career that.
Elizabeth Gordon
There is she being scrutinized. Girl.
Ryland Adams
Any.
Elizabeth Gordon
But what I'm saying is under a microscope.
Ryland Adams
Any. Anyone that has had an ax to grind with Taylor, this is like their time to vocalize it on the Internet. Yet. I'm just saying, like, when you're at the pinnacle of success, there's. It's almost impossible to please the masses. Like.
Elizabeth Gordon
And haters going to hate.
Ryland Adams
Haters are definitely going to hate. I think, personally, like, the album is good. It's a Taylor Swift album.
Elizabeth Gordon
I love it.
Ryland Adams
It's what I would expect from Taylor Swift, where I feel like we went a little bit wrong. If I'm just stating my opinion is how the rollout and how she promoted.
Elizabeth Gordon
The album, I think that that's subjective. I. I think that's interpreted by you and I. And the longer I think about the showgirl of it all, each one of these tracks is kind of about a.
Ryland Adams
Showgirl, and that's fine. I'm just saying it, like, the way that they were discussing it on the podcast made it sound like they were all bangers. They were all, like, about her life behind the scenes on tour. And I just feel like. Like, I'm not even, like, the biggest Chaparral Roan fan in the whole world, but I cannot deny that her Pink Pony Club's a hit. Yeah, like, you hear it, it's a hit. You can't deny it. It's everywhere you go because it's a hit. I don't know that we got a banger banger from.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I disagree.
Ryland Adams
You think one of these songs is.
Elizabeth Gordon
Going to be Ophelia Banger. Opalite. Banger. Father figure.
Ryland Adams
I think for Taylor Swift thing fans.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think for Taylor Swift fans, Opalite for sure. Banger.
Ryland Adams
I'm talking about, like, nobody. If you didn't know who Taylor Swift was, you hear the song and you're like, it's. It will be. We'll see. We'll see. If one of these songs goes like a hit is undeniable. It's like you can't avoid it everywhere you go, you know? Like, I wasn't seeking out Shap. Whatever. I wasn't seeking her out, and I could not avoid her. You know what I'm saying?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm blocking her. I'm sending Cease and Desist. She's at my door.
Ryland Adams
I don't know that this album was full of those, like, just, like Katy Perry's, like, Hot and Cold Teenage Girls. Like, those are undeniable. Or Teenage Dream. I'm just trying to. I'm trying to paint the picture of, like, the epitome of a hit. Yeah. I don't know that that's what we got here. Although I think Fate of Ophelia and.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think Opalite for sure is these. And that's only because those are the last two songs I heard in the car. Just want to make sure Joe's on Thank God.
Ryland Adams
And those aren't even the songs I liked from the album. My favorite. My favorite is Elizabeth Taylor because it hits hard once it starts hitting Elizabeth Taylor, not even taking the drama into account. Almost romantic. Or is that what? It's called Almost Romantic.
Elizabeth Gordon
And then by the drama, you mean the Charlie xcx.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. And who.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know that I've even heard any Charlie.
Ryland Adams
She's having a huge year.
Elizabeth Gordon
I know, but, like, I haven't heard any of it.
Ryland Adams
I know. It's a different category than you. Like, you're a Taylor Swift girl through and through.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm like, yeah, yeah.
Ryland Adams
And then I would say my third favorite would be Honey.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I hate honey.
Ryland Adams
Really?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
See? So there isn't.
Elizabeth Gordon
Honey's. A skip for me cancels a skip for me. I'm almost out on wish list. But I'm not because it is how I feel about Joe.
Ryland Adams
And how do you feel about wood? That's what a lot of people were asking us specifically about. Wood.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wood, to me sounds like Ariana Grande.
Ryland Adams
Really? Yeah. I like the knocking of the wood in wood. People are, like, very upset that it's so vulgar. I'm like, it's not that explicit.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not. Nothing she's done is that explicit. I do love the line and father figure. Like, my dick is bigger.
Ryland Adams
Right.
Elizabeth Gordon
It really works for me.
Ryland Adams
I feel for Taylor Swift because there's just nowhere. Like, every career has ebbs and flows and I just feel like. Like, it's like. I know I can't compare any of my life experiences to Taylor Swift, but even when Shane was at a point in his life where he was getting 30 million views, a video on YouTube, it's such an awful place to be because you're trying to chase what will sustain that and you're in a mental space of, like, what that means when there's that many eyeballs on you, and when it's even getting, say, 30 million views and the people that, like, love you are loving it, it's like. Well, then everybody who's ever had something not great to say about you, it's their time to just chime in. Yeah. I'm just saying it's not a functioning place to live life. Like, when we were in that state, it just felt like constant chaos. There was always, like, drama with another public figure that wanted to start drama. There was always. It just felt never ending. And like, the.
Elizabeth Gordon
But I also think that, like, that's what you feed. Like, are you going to. Are you going to give nutrients to that monster or are you going to give nutrients to this. This other thing?
Ryland Adams
Well, that's what I'm saying. Like, I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
Baking her bread and she stays off the Internet.
Ryland Adams
I know, but I hope the criticism from this album or people being vocal about this album doesn't put her into like a reputation esque spiral where she hides and like holding anger that because she is chasing public approval. That's Taylor's whole mo.
Elizabeth Gordon
I actually, with this album, I kind of disagree like with that. What's the track that she's sitting down at the piano and she's playing in?
Ryland Adams
I don't think so.
Elizabeth Gordon
Eldest Daughter.
Ryland Adams
Her criticism from Tortured Poets was largely what I was saying outside of the people that loved it. So she wanted to give a. Give the. She wanted to give the masses an album of bangers. So she does take in to.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, sure, but she literally said that the whole point of Eldest Daughter is like, like you try. You're trying so hard, you're trying so painfully hard to be cool in this space that you don't fit into or want to be cool in. She's like, I don't give a. I'm not cool. I am cringy. I like being cringy. I'm having a good time. I'm a bazillionaire. But you just paid 12 for. I'm handing out for free on the Internet.
Ryland Adams
I understand what you're saying, but at the same time she's doing absolutely everything she can to break every record in the world. So it does. She does care more than anything.
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, she's competitive about stuff.
Ryland Adams
Stuff.
Elizabeth Gordon
But that doesn't mean.
Ryland Adams
But that's what I mean. But that's what I'm saying is like it's going to eat her alive if she consumes the criticism.
Elizabeth Gordon
And maybe honestly the, the criticisms I see on Instagram that came out like, like rapid fire. It's like you didn't listen to it, you don't know it, you don't appreciate.
Ryland Adams
It, or you didn't like her to begin.
Elizabeth Gordon
You're me and you're mean. They're mean. They're mean things. And also it's coming from ugly, weird looking people. And here's the deal. You don't get to be ugly and mean.
Ryland Adams
Mean.
Elizabeth Gordon
You can be ugly and super fucking polite, but you don't get to be ugly and mean. And it's less funny coming from you, by the way, because you look bitter and nasty.
Ryland Adams
I'm just saying I hope for Taylor Swift that she can enjoy some peaceful time off, that she can get married and have kids if that's what she wants. Because that's what she alluded to, what she wants in wish list. So I just hope like this criticism doesn't cloud the way she moves throughout her life. But I feel like you're defending it without acknowledging the reality of her as we know it. Like, we've consumed her documentaries. We know how she's affected by the. I mean.
Elizabeth Gordon
But I also think that she's gone to extreme lengths to not fall down that rabbit hole.
Ryland Adams
She sold 12 variations of the same album to break a record.
Elizabeth Gordon
To break a record. That's different.
Ryland Adams
Different. I don't think that it is.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think it is, okay, because it's like.
Ryland Adams
I mean, we're on the same team. I like Taylor Swift. I think the albums.
Elizabeth Gordon
But you. You also love to hate her.
Ryland Adams
I don't. I really don't.
Elizabeth Gordon
This texts me.
Ryland Adams
I went to one week with a.
Elizabeth Gordon
Grievance about her and hates her.
Ryland Adams
I went to her concert three different times. Yeah, I love this woman. I'm just saying the only. And I think the album is a good album. I think the way it was rolled out was a little misleading. And that's maybe why. Why she's being met with any sort of criticism.
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, like, a lot of the criticism I'm seeing from ugly people is that she's acting like a person who lost her virginity late in life. Like, didn't you, too, dude?
Ryland Adams
All right, well, I have a bug bite on my ankle. It's really nasty, too. I like the album. I don't know what you want me to tell you.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I'm just saying, like, I do think that there is power and being like, okay, so a troll does a troll and doesn't like me. Okay, bye.
Ryland Adams
I'm just saying she could have released. I'm just saying.
Elizabeth Gordon
Anybody on the Internet who's making up these memes saying, like, it's giving. Just had sex for the first time. As an elder person, it's like, then, when did you lose your virginity? When did you lose your virginity? You have to tell all of us now, because I bet it was late in life. Because how do you know that so well then? Because it seems like you lived it, you old virgin. That's what I have to say to the haters, okay?
Ryland Adams
I'm just wishing her peace. She could have just released the re release of Reputation and it would have been a crowd pleaser. I'm just saying. And then she could have enjoyed the year that she's getting married. Married. She could have enjoyed having the kids. She could have really spent her time on whatever piece of work she wanted to do next.
Elizabeth Gordon
But instead, she's crying in 17 mansions that she owns outright because old virgins who are uglier. Calling her also an old virgin. Do you see what I'm saying, though?
Ryland Adams
I'm always grateful to get a new Taylor album. I'm not, like, complaining about an album. Yeah, I'm just, I'm just. I'm just talking about it.
Elizabeth Gordon
I heard the chorus of Opalite and I just, like, can't wait to sing it to when we're up in the middle of the night.
Ryland Adams
What's that one?
Elizabeth Gordon
Just drop the baby's name again.
Ryland Adams
Are you kidding me?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, but it's fine.
Ryland Adams
Okay. We have some questions or just I asked for, like, on the Patreon, like, what people would want us to just, like, touch upon. We should really do another ad read.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, okay.
Ryland Adams

Elizabeth Gordon
Plans, thoughts, feelings, Plans? Yes.
Ryland Adams
You have plans on Halloween?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, of course. What we're going to retreating.
Ryland Adams
Do you know what Billy's gonna be yet?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
What's the family costume?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm recycling a little bit.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
So one of my favorite costumes I ever was was the string. The saying, toss another shrimp on the barbie.
Ryland Adams
It's always a shrimp with you.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, my God.
Ryland Adams
Have you ever not done a shrimp theme? Yes. It's either shrimp or lobster.
Elizabeth Gordon
I've done not shrimp and lobster.
Ryland Adams
What's Billy gonna be?
Elizabeth Gordon
A shrimp.
Ryland Adams
And what's it Joe? A lobster?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, Joe's gonna be a barbecue guy and I'm gonna be a Barbie with and my bumps gonna be another shrimp because we're tossing another shrimp on the barbie.
Ryland Adams
And you guys are gonna walk door to door and trick or treat.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yes.
Ryland Adams
Okay, cool. We are too. So far, we've only got one costume because I really, this year, I want my boys to pick their own costume. I want to take them to the store. I want them to be able to pick their own costume. I saw one dinosaur costume that I couldn't resist, and I was like, if that's what they want to be, then fine, I'll give them the option. But I do want to dress up ourselves this year too. To go trick or treating.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. Family.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, but we're families. We're not gonna go rage.
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
Are you gonna rage after?
Elizabeth Gordon
We're going to a Halloween party with Babies on the 26th, and to that one, we might all just be Insane Clown Posse, because I think there's nothing funnier than a baby dresses. The Insane Clown Posse.
Ryland Adams
And obviously we're gonna go to Knights of the Jack where you just walk around and view all the fake pumpkin installations. Yeah, I bet Taylor and Travis will be one of the carved out puppies.
Elizabeth Gordon
They were last year.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. So this year she'll be holding up her ring.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, remember, we learned they're not real pumpkins.
Ryland Adams
I know, it was devastating.
Elizabeth Gordon
So it'll just be the same pumpkins as last year.
Ryland Adams
Oh, you don't rot. Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
Because they're fake.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. It's still a good time. The Christmas one, we'll do it. The Halloween one was really fun, though.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, the Halloween one.
Ryland Adams
The Halloween one was really fun.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm excited for it. We've been taking Billy to the pumpkin patch, into the spooky Halloween store by the house and letting him get, like, interested in the decorations there.
Ryland Adams
Are you gonna take him to Underwood Family Farms?
Elizabeth Gordon
What is that?
Ryland Adams
It's like a big farm with lots of activities.
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
Oh.
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, there's one, like, eight minutes from our house, and he's enjoying walking around there.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
And it's like $4 for him to feed animals.
Ryland Adams
I'm gonna do that. And then when my family comes, I'll also go to the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival.
Elizabeth Gordon
Cute.
Ryland Adams
Are you gonna go with us?
Elizabeth Gordon
Sure.
Ryland Adams
It's on a Sunday.
Elizabeth Gordon
All right.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Elizabeth Gordon
Here we go.
Ryland Adams
Let's go. We went last year and it was really fun.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. I'm down.
Ryland Adams
And now the boys are, like, way more online.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
So it's gonna be a lot more fun.
Elizabeth Gordon
We need to get leashes for these guys. Like, the more I think about it, like, we got to get them on a leash. Joe keeps talking about, like, an industrial harness so we can just clip Billy on to stuff. Stuff.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. It's going to be a learning curve with the leash, cuz, like, does.
Elizabeth Gordon
They're going to get yanked.
Ryland Adams
Doesn't Billy want to be, like, free range?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, but he doesn't feel free range to an extent.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
But then, and then the extent hits and he gets.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Leolicious asked advice on maintaining friendships in adulthood. I'm struggling making time for everything right now. And I, I, I picked this because not only was I just complaining about this to you yesterday, but I think you'll have good advice because you have a million friends and some somehow maintain it.
Elizabeth Gordon
Right. Well, I will say this as a person with friends in adulthood and with children, as a person who lost her virginity at a young age, I.
Ryland Adams
Okay, now you're shooting on Taylor Swift.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I'm not. I'm pretty sure Taylor Swift lost her virginity at a totally, like, young coming of age era in her life.
Ryland Adams
Okay, okay. Back to friendships.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay. Back to friendships. Friendships. It's important that the friendships you keep nourish you. You can't have adult friendships that detract from you. If you have a friend that's constantly bitching and complaining, nothing's good enough. Everything's super hard with them.
Ryland Adams
It's like, I You're not feeling better leaving this hangout session than you were going in.
Elizabeth Gordon
If someone's taking from you, taking your energy and like sucking your cup dry, it's like, like not worth it. Not worth it.
Ryland Adams
And as you get older and your time gets more and more limited, you just have to sat.
Elizabeth Gordon
And it's not a sad thing, it's just.
Ryland Adams
It is what it is.
Elizabeth Gordon
Go let those people who are emotional vampires be emotional vampires with other emotional vampires. Cuz misery loves company.
Ryland Adams
Sometimes they don't even have to be a bad person. It's just like you're in different phases of your life. And that's fine. You have to be okay. Like I would say about 28. My circle got a lot smaller just because I was reprioritizing and refiguring out what worked for me. And it's not that I didn't like a lot of these.
Elizabeth Gordon
No. It's just we have so much to do.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, you have so much to do and you fade away. And it's like I have one other friend outside of Lizzie. And I kept telling Lizzie, like we've been trying to plan a date to hang out for three months and things just keep happening. And it's like I can't even make time for my one other friend.
Elizabeth Gordon
And that's. That's the other thing. If you're making time for a person, you gotta leave it feeling good. Like even the other day when we just had sandwiches outside your house. Cause you had hand, foot and mouth is.
Ryland Adams
I didn't.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, right.
Ryland Adams
I never got it.
Elizabeth Gordon
Prove it.
Ryland Adams
I. I literally could prove it.
Elizabeth Gordon
Show me your butthole.
Ryland Adams
I will.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay.
Ryland Adams
I've been dying to. I think my hair is not your preference, but cream.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, but like even that I left feeling energized and recharged and it was like, what if we didn't do anything?
Ryland Adams
No, we sat six feet apart outside and ate our jersey mics. I'm on a Jersey mics kick.
Elizabeth Gordon
Dude, Billy's been eating my Jersey Mike.
Ryland Adams
So good.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's so funny. He takes my sandwiches and eats.
Ryland Adams
Are you admitting that as a pregnant woman, who cares?
Elizabeth Gordon
Guys, I had locks today to like write me up calls.
Ryland Adams
Call the cops.
Elizabeth Gordon
Call the cops. Call cps. I don't know what to do. You got. I'm so hungry and I'm so miserable.
Ryland Adams
But I do think so. Hungry and miserable for Leah Licious. Prioritizing everything. If you. If your cup is not full, you can't make time. Or like if you're struggling to stay just afloat with all of. All the things you have to manage, you can't be like, killing yourself to carve out time for another person.
Elizabeth Gordon
Make sure your house is in order before you go to order anyone else's house.
Ryland Adams
Exactly. And if your friends don't understand that, then they're not your true friend and they suck. Cut them off.
Elizabeth Gordon
Because that's. That's also a symptom of an emotional vampire. Like, you're not giving me enough. Like, I don't owe you anything.
Ryland Adams
Actually. Just have to take off the stress.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Spencer
I don't.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't want to give you anything.
Ryland Adams
Death, and then it's, like, not worth it. It's not worth it.
Elizabeth Gordon
And also, it requires nothing. You don't have to make an announcement. You don't have to send them a letter. It's just like, who's. No, I'm not available.
Ryland Adams
Who's going to acknowledge our ghost from Cracker Barrel back there?
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know. I don't see it.
Ryland Adams
Oh, he's back there.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I can't see it. From my perspective, our ghost from Cracker.
Ryland Adams
Barrel is back there. And if you guys weren't realizing it. I'm upset. Call chat.
Elizabeth Gordon
Call it.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Plans for the holidays that will be like. And traditions that will be starting this year. I. I just think having a baby. I know. That's. And, yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
The worst time to have a baby.
Ryland Adams
The worst.
Elizabeth Gordon
The worst.
Ryland Adams
Right?
Elizabeth Gordon
No one's going to help me.
Ryland Adams
No one's going to help her. And then your baby screwed fruit.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
Like, nobody wants to celebrate the baby's birthday. We're, like, seconds away from Christmas.
Elizabeth Gordon
What's six months after Christmas?
Ryland Adams
Like, July.
Elizabeth Gordon
I have a July baby. Going forward, be advised.
Ryland Adams
We're gonna start June.
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
Who knows?
Elizabeth Gordon
It might be May. Right. Because it's December.
Ryland Adams
You're gonna have a July baby next.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I'm just saying we're celebrating his birthday in July. Yeah, we're gonna celebrate his birthday.
Ryland Adams
Nobody's gonna be able to make his birthday party parties.
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
It's like, unless it's a Christmas party.
Elizabeth Gordon
Might come on Christmas Day.
Ryland Adams
Exactly. We don't. It could be Christmas Eve. It could be Christmas Day. Hope.
Elizabeth Gordon
And, like, I. Like, if all goes according to plan, we'll be home by Christmas Day. But one thing I've learned about birth and stuff is, like, nothing goes according to plan.
Ryland Adams
Anything can't play.
Elizabeth Gordon
Anything.
Ryland Adams
I. I wanted to go to Colorado for Christmas.
Elizabeth Gordon
You can't.
Ryland Adams
But I'm just starting to think, like, my kids are, like, so much more Online. And it's like, I want them to experience Christmas morning. And I don't know that I can get, like, the gifts that I have for them, their wrap. It just seems confusing. So I might do Thanksgiving in Colorado.
Elizabeth Gordon
I love that for me.
Ryland Adams
Christmas here. I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
I want you here selfishly.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. Even though I won't let you.
Ryland Adams
I just had another sprout burp. Why are they attacking me? Like, I don't know, but I could.
Elizabeth Gordon
Beat you to death with my bare hands. I'm so scared.
Ryland Adams
They want a Chris update. What's going on, Chris? Chris, give us something good. What's like, the craziest thing that happened to you this week?
Chris
I met a fan at a. At a metal show. Yeah, they're. Well, they're metal, Jason. They're called North Lane. And we were like in the pit and someone was like going nuts in front of us. And she turns around, she's like, oh, my God, Chris.
Ryland Adams
I was like, oh, my God. And then we.
Chris
Yeah, we had a great time. That was really cool.
Ryland Adams
You got a new shirt. That was really cool. Yeah, Chris looks good today. He looks like he's taking a business meeting after this and he's gonna leave us maybe. Are you working with Chit this afternoon? No.
Elizabeth Gordon
What's Chit doing?
Chris
I don't know.
Ryland Adams
Is he hiring? I'm really excited.
Chris
I'm excited for a video to come out. It was his. Oh, I don't know if I can talk about it. Nevermind. I'm excited for it to come out.
Ryland Adams
We'll be watching.
Elizabeth Gordon
Chris's big update is you need him to sign an NDA now.
Chris
Yeah, I feel like, I don't know.
Ryland Adams
Everything I do is work related.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not fun.
Chris
I don't have fun things.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't.
Chris
I'm going to Horror Night.
Elizabeth Gordon
You went to a male concert that.
Ryland Adams
You'Re going to Horror Night.
Chris
Thank you. Thank you.
Ryland Adams
You're right, Chris.
Elizabeth Gordon
Like, I don't do anything fun. But I did go to four movies this week. I went to a metal concert. I bumped into Blink 182 at a restaurant and they were all family Horror.
Ryland Adams
Nights on the book.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights. That's very, very packed calendar.
Ryland Adams
Amira wants us to announce her pregnancy. She said a lot of her friends watch the Sit but aren't on the Patreon. Can you believe she wants us? Has she not told them yet?
Elizabeth Gordon
Amira's been pregnant.
Ryland Adams
We've been known, which is so crazy.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is it because we're better friends to her than her friends, probably.
Ryland Adams
Amira has it out for me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Really?
Ryland Adams
I mean, yes. She's obsessed with me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh.
Ryland Adams
Like, she wants me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Has it out for you. Does not mean that.
Ryland Adams
I mean, it does in my mind.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay.
Ryland Adams
How's Lizzie doing mentally? Like, how are you? Oh, these are multiple questions.
Elizabeth Gordon
I would say I'm physically broken, mentally blessed.
Ryland Adams
Really?
Chris
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
The production company wants nothing to do with us.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah. You are just going so fast.
Ryland Adams
Sorry.
Elizabeth Gordon
How Liz is doing. Okay, great. Next.
Ryland Adams
How are you doing?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm told you physically broken, mentally blessed. As a pregnant person, I think it's very important that you spend a lot of time and energy working on your mental strength, because stamina is not just physical. It's mental as well. Are you trying to fuck me right now?
Ryland Adams
I have it out for you.
Elizabeth Gordon
Under the table. Rylan is stroking my foot, and I am soaking wet.
Ryland Adams
Oh, really? You're dripping.
Elizabeth Gordon
Dripping wet. I'm not sure if it's a yeast infection or if it's because I'm turning. Turned on. It is a little itchy, so I'm gonna lean towards the yeast.
Ryland Adams
Oh. She just doesn't want to admit it because it will go back to the Reddit and then get back to her husband that she's wet for her gay husband.
Elizabeth Gordon
There's such a funny thing going on because of Joe's nasty Reddit. Like, we. He was in my last vlog, and he's very sweet because he's a sweet guy.
Ryland Adams
Oh, yeah. So he's just full frontal and you're. I mean, like.
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, I'm done playing his games.
Ryland Adams
You just show him in the vlog?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, I'm like, I'm filming with you later.
Ryland Adams
I think you did the prank wrong, by the way. Way. As somebody who didn't know anything about the prank, I'm now here to police your prank.
Elizabeth Gordon
Why?
Ryland Adams
You're supposed to say, like, it's not something you. It's not a gift you bought him. You're supposed to open the package that arrived at Jason, I didn't have a box. Get a box.
Elizabeth Gordon
I didn't have the.
Ryland Adams
I did.
Elizabeth Gordon
I bought a home.
Ryland Adams
And then you're supposed to be like, oh, the rock came so nice. Oh, it's perfect. Oh, my gosh. Like, and then the husband says to be like, you got a rock? And you're like, yeah, it's decorative. From anthropology.
Elizabeth Gordon
I know. I tried my best, given the restraints of my situation.
Ryland Adams
I mean, I don't think you have any restraints.
Elizabeth Gordon
I didn't have a feelings I think.
Ryland Adams
Women can do anything.
Elizabeth Gordon
I didn't have a box.
Ryland Adams
Taylor Swift not told you. Women can do anything.
Elizabeth Gordon
You have. You're right. I should have done better. I knew I needed a box. I didn't have a good box.
Ryland Adams
Okay, Lizzie has an ad read for us.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, that's true.
Ryland Adams
And she actually messed with this brand before they even messed with this brand.
Elizabeth Gordon
The way that you say it isn't right.
Ryland Adams
What do you want from me? We're 55 minutes into recording. How do they expect me to behave? I've never messed with this official podcast. Then you gotta know that we're crazy.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay, so when you're pregnant, she appreciates the brand. When you're pregnant, you take these things called prenatals. They can either come with a bunch of pills that you'd have to take handfuls of, which is a little bit difficult for a woman if you're pregnant and have a gag reflex, the house down boots, or you can take a couple of pills that are multivitamins and have a nice little minty aftertaste. And that is. Who's sponsoring us today, you guys? Ritual pills, period.
Ryland Adams
Is it called pills?
Elizabeth Gordon
They're called ritual, but they are pills. They're prenatal pills.
Ryland Adams
Is that how they want to be advertised by us?
Elizabeth Gordon
Ritual pills with their clinically backed essential prenatal multivitamin. I know I'm getting clean, traceable ingredients like choline, folate, and omega 3, which are very important when you're pregnant. I personally chose to take ritual with my first pregnancy because I am the type of mom who reaches out to other moms who know more than I do. I like their parenting techniques. I like the things that they put in their body. I like the things they put in their children's body. So I asked for advice, and more often than not, the moms that I asked for advice about what prenatal pills to take said ritual. And then the special little part that I loved specifically about these pills is they have a minty aftertaste to them. Oftentimes when I take, like, omegas or, like, fish oils, which are things that you should be taking in pregnancy. See, you're burping up fish oil for the rest of the day, and that is not the business if you're nauseous, and that is not the business if you're a vomiter. I am both of those things. Ritual, burping up a minty freshness that is nicer than I could ever tell you. But it's literally, like, beyond it being a good, like, Multivitamin to take. Take it for the minty aftertaste. It's also the number one best selling prenatal vitamin. And moms who took ritual also had lower cortisol levels in pregnancy than the ones taking the other. Your leading prenatal vitamins. Do not settle for less than evidence based support. Get 25 off your first month at ritual.com sip start ritual or add essential prenatal to your subscription today. That's ritual.com sip for 25 off your first month.
Ryland Adams
All right, girls, and welcome back to the SIP. Today we're doing something very exciting. This actually stemmed from a voice vlog concept that didn't make the cut because we didn't see it through. So I'm gonna cut back to this past weekend where Shane and I are discussing what we're about to do.
Elizabeth Gordon
Chris.
Ryland Adams
All right, girls. So Shane has seen recently that there is a spooky secret menu item at the One the only cock, which is my least favorite store in the entire world. However, we're with a card holder. We're with somebody who frequents the co. So are we gonna in a long time. You haven't?
Lizzie
No, because it sucks going there.
Ryland Adams
Oh, so you agree Everyone.
Lizzie
Everyone agrees that it sucks going there, but people just like the stuff.
Ryland Adams
Honestly, we could look at their Halloween decorations too.
Spencer
No, we can't film in there. They get mad. Although I have been seeing this hack and I know hacks are cheesy. Nobody actually does them. But this one looks like actually good people get the vanilla sundae.
Ryland Adams
Who has you down on hacks?
Spencer
What?
Ryland Adams
Who's got you bothered about hacks?
Spencer
Well, I feel like every time we do one of these hacks, they suck. Oh, and it's more for like the views on Tick Tock. This one though. They get a vanilla sundae, then they get the Costco pumpkin pie, which is iconic. They take a slice.
Ryland Adams
A mess. Are you Those pie take a slice this big.
Spencer
They take a slice and then they put it in the sundae day and jack it off. They jack it up and stir it around.
Ryland Adams
Wait, that for you?
Spencer
No, you do it and then it makes up a pumpkin pie. Costco sundae.
Ryland Adams
I don't think you get access to their. He's saying just.
Lizzie
He's a spoon and he just sort of shake.
Ryland Adams
Oh, I already did this at McDonald's.
Spencer
Yeah, but the Costco one is better. It turns the whole Sunday like orange.
Ryland Adams
Orange.
Spencer
So we don't have to do it. But I'm just throwing out ideas.
Ryland Adams
I'm getting carted it's like we either have to cut it or we go, I'm getting carsick. We'll see you somewhere. And we're back. Okay, so, yes, we're going to Costco. We're trying the pumpkin pie milkshake, along with two other secret menu item hacks, along with whatever us girls want to get from the food court for lunch.
Elizabeth Gordon
I got some eggs.
Chris
What is this on your seat?
Ryland Adams
Eggs? I don't know. Is it come?
Chris
I don't know.
Ryland Adams
Is it? No. What is it? What is.
Elizabeth Gordon
Looks like come?
Ryland Adams
No, I've never come in the cybertruck. If I'm being transparent with everyone here.
Elizabeth Gordon
Has anyone come in the shopper truck?
Ryland Adams
I don't think so.
Lizzie
No one?
Ryland Adams
I mean, well, you were so specific.
Elizabeth Gordon
About it that I. You said, I personally have never come in the.
Ryland Adams
Well, a couple other cars I've.
Elizabeth Gordon
Which cars?
Ryland Adams
I don't feel like I need to tell you.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, you said a couple. You really only have, like, a couple other cars?
Ryland Adams
I feel like it's my obligation.
Elizabeth Gordon
Britney the truck.
Ryland Adams
Did you come and.
Elizabeth Gordon
Britney the truck.
Ryland Adams
Okay, so here we go to Costco. Girls, you're not doing your grocery shopping.
Elizabeth Gordon
I am.
Spencer
No, you're not.
Elizabeth Gordon
I am. Someone has to.
Chris
What are you gonna do with the groceries?
Ryland Adams
I know they're gonna go. They're gonna go bad.
Elizabeth Gordon
What do you mean? We're going back to the office after this.
Ryland Adams
I'm not gonna be responsible for your groceries gone bad. I'm not taking that obligation on.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay, then don't. I'm not asking you to. It's not a gift, okay?
Ryland Adams
They're not. They weren't even privy to this whole gift conversation.
Elizabeth Gordon
Inside joke amongst friends.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Okay. All right, girls, we'll see you. Okay, we're back. Elizabeth started critiquing how I'm dry, like, where I'm going. And she's like, this isn't how you get to Costco. And I'm like, if there's one thing I could trust you on, it's not directions, because look where we are. Costco, period. And I probably saved us two and a half minutes. Oh, we did. Except for the screaming that I had to do to get the camera to roll.
Chris
That added the two minutes.
Ryland Adams
How is it always busy? It's Monday at 1:21pm Unless you're here.
Chris
At least, like, 8 in the morning or something.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, the secret for Costco is you got to come right before closing that.
Chris
Oh, here. Here is kind.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I don't know. I hate this one. This one causes me so much rage. I actually don't know how this is going to go right now.
Ryland Adams
I mean, if you explode, that's better for our episode, so.
Chris
Oh, no.
Ryland Adams
It's not adjusting.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is this. It's not adjusting.
Ryland Adams
Just touch the screen. Now it's dark. If I get HFMD from touching this button. Wow.
Elizabeth Gordon
Are we going to the top? No.
Ryland Adams
Hell, no, I'm not.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is this for the sip or the after sip?
Ryland Adams
That's also. This is the sip. Oh. I'm just.
Elizabeth Gordon
I never know anymore.
Ryland Adams
If it has to do with Costco, it's the sip.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay.
Ryland Adams
Is it that hard?
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, my God.
Ryland Adams
It's not clocking to you.
Elizabeth Gordon
I thought you woke up in a good mood today.
Ryland Adams
I'm great.
Elizabeth Gordon
And you've just been rushing through using your host voice.
Ryland Adams
I love Justin Bieber. Actually, his new album. Have you listened to Swag? I haven't listened to Swag too much.
Elizabeth Gordon
You mean Swag?
Ryland Adams
Oh, it's too hard for me to get to another album, but Swag one.
Elizabeth Gordon
Need I remind you that you did not like Swag one one upon first completion?
Ryland Adams
Did I?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah, you were like, this is like background music. You don't really care about it, I don't think.
Ryland Adams
Unless it's in there.
Elizabeth Gordon
There's a spot over there.
Ryland Adams
I know, but this car is coming like a crazy person. Oh, no. Unless it's an undeniable hit out the gate, it takes me a couple of days.
Elizabeth Gordon
Taylor, just wait. He's coming around, girl.
Ryland Adams
No, I told you. I think her music is catchy. I think it's a catchy album. I don't know if it's full of, like, bonafide hits.
Elizabeth Gordon
These men are in their underwear.
Chris
Are you saying, like, a radio hit?
Ryland Adams
Like a You? Yes. Just like an unavoidable, unexpected.
Elizabeth Gordon
But would you say that video killed the radio star?
Ryland Adams
What?
Elizabeth Gordon
Can I hang up?
Ryland Adams
I'm too stupid for that.
Elizabeth Gordon
Can I hang up?
Ryland Adams
Yeah, hang up. What are you doing here? Just two girls walking into Costco.
Elizabeth Gordon
One of us Braxton Hickson.
Ryland Adams
Costco hates to see us coming.
Elizabeth Gordon
Little something to take the edge off. What?
Ryland Adams
Unrelatable.
Chris
This is the craziest. Costco, possibly in California.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. This place sucks.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm gonna get in a fist fight.
Ryland Adams
This is why I hate Costco. My husband would make me come to Costco.
Elizabeth Gordon
Costco.
Ryland Adams
How would you say it?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm just saying.
Ryland Adams
You dropped the T. What are you, Californian?
Elizabeth Gordon
I didn't mean. I wasn't saying anything.
Ryland Adams
Because, like, they don't say Santa Monica. You would say Santa we don't need.
Chris
A cart or anything, do we?
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
You know what's crazy about people that go to Costco? These two were fighting to scan their membership. I was like, do you win something if you, like, go to Costco a certain number of times in a year? Like, why do you guys both want it? I get money back. For coming?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, for buying.
Ryland Adams
Right. You're buying.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay. Can you hang up and come back to the after sip? Hang up and come back to the after sip.
Ryland Adams
If you have something to say, you can say it to the sip. It won't make sense.
Elizabeth Gordon
To the sip Sip.
Ryland Adams
Oh. Or having conversations without them.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, that's what the Patreon's for.
Ryland Adams
Who has.
Elizabeth Gordon
Go get a fucking card?
Ryland Adams
No, I'm not getting pumped yet. You know what?
Elizabeth Gordon
I love a Costco cupcake.
Ryland Adams
These are only 5.99 and they're huge. I was like, we should only get a piece. But it's like, it's 5.99.
Elizabeth Gordon
Let's get a couple of cakes.
Ryland Adams
You want? Who are you, Jennifer Coolidge? We just need a couple of cakes.
Elizabeth Gordon
To get through the rest of the day.
Ryland Adams
I guess we want a cake real bad. I guess we want a cake. Can we just get a piece of a cake?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, it's got to be the whole cake.
Ryland Adams
You want a whole cake? Really not.
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Spencer
What kind of cake?
Ryland Adams
A cheese cake. I will say.
Elizabeth Gordon
So chocolate mousse.
Ryland Adams
Shane and I were really excited because Weiner Snitchel. Snitchel. They put out a collab with Hostess. So it's like Ding Dong cakes and Twinkie. Or Ding Dong and Twinkie milkshakes. And they're like, blended in the milkshake. We could put sheet cake in milkshake. Do you really want. They're $18. How is that? 18? 18. And this is 6. How?
Elizabeth Gordon
I couldn't tell you.
Ryland Adams
That doesn't make sense. Right? $6. $18. Dang.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know. Maybe one brings more joy.
Ryland Adams
If it was $10, but it's 18. Do you want it?
Elizabeth Gordon
No.
Ryland Adams
Which one do you want?
Elizabeth Gordon
I want it so bad.
Ryland Adams
Which one? Don't.
Elizabeth Gordon
I can't have it. There's red dye all over it.
Ryland Adams
There's no red dial.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's not the same.
Chris
What about Andy?
Ryland Adams
These will never die same. You want this?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I don't want it.
Ryland Adams
You don't?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I.
Ryland Adams
Is there just a piece?
Elizabeth Gordon
No. You can't buy a whole cake just for me to eat all of it.
Ryland Adams
Take it home with you.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, no, don't do It. I can't handle it. It'll make me sick to death.
Ryland Adams
Okay, do we need fruit for our children?
Elizabeth Gordon
No, we don't have a cart. We're just getting a pumpkin. Hi. So cold.
Ryland Adams
We have to go. This is so cold.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's too. I'm already feeling like we've eaten too much.
Ryland Adams
All right, cut and let's go. There's a bunch of new things. Is that sandwich?
Spencer
I've had that.
Ryland Adams
Two vanilla sundaes, please.
Elizabeth Gordon
And then there's a vanilla ice cream.
Ryland Adams

Lizzie
That's like, great.
Ryland Adams
That's so big.
Lizzie
That's enormous.
Ryland Adams
We wanted to get a chocolate cake, and the chocolate cake was $18. And I was like, how can that be 18 and this is only 6?
Lizzie
That's funny because that's not a terrible deal on a cake. But like, when you see a pie that sticks, like, what a fucking rip off.
Ryland Adams
And the pie's like, just as big, if not bigger. So I'm just like, yeah, this is. I don't understand. You didn't want me to eat this.
Chris
On camera, did you? Cause on the way over here, some guy took it from me, ate 90% of the of it and threw it back at me. It was the craziest thing.
Elizabeth Gordon
It was.
Ryland Adams
Okay, Shane, I got you a Costco Diet Coke so you can compare. You have your. Is that McDonald's?
Spencer
This is my McDonald's. And guess what, guys? The McDonald's Monopoly game is back.
Lizzie
Oh, I love the Monopoly.
Spencer
Peel for a chance to win in the app.
Ryland Adams
Oh, wait, hold on.
Spencer
I won food.
Ryland Adams
Actually, that's pretty nice, but I have.
Spencer
To use the app.
Ryland Adams
Okay, okay, let's see. Let me just get a taste test. Oh, it's kind of watery. Did the ice melt? Just saying. I don't know where the straw went for this, but let's test Costco's Diet Coke versus McDonald's, which is Shane's tried and true number one.
Lizzie
I thought they had Pepsi at Costco.
Ryland Adams
They just changed to Diet Coke.
Spencer
Oh, this is big. The cup is small. Let's see. Ooh, feels watery.
Ryland Adams
Feel.
Lizzie
Feels watery.
Elizabeth Gordon
The cup is small.
Ryland Adams
It does. Well, I put ice. Let me try that. No, honestly, it tastes the same. No, it's watery. All right, let me set up this shot. Lizzy and I just got hot dogs for our own pleasure.
Lizzie
Wieners for your pleasure?
Ryland Adams
Yep, wieners for our own pleasure.
Spencer
Oh, my gosh. Did you tell them about the other wieners?
Ryland Adams
What wieners?
Spencer
Oh, wait, here, coaster.
Ryland Adams
Oh, I'm using the monster here.
Spencer
Put it on here.
Lizzie
Is that the first time you can open?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
Okay, let me see.
Spencer
You didn't tell them about the wiener sensile shakes.
Ryland Adams
Oh, no, I did start telling them about those and they are delish.
Spencer
Best thing I've ever had in my entire life.
Ryland Adams
Okay, this is the chicken bake. What's this? Oh, this is the new calzone. Here it goes. Scoot in. Elizabeth, are you in frame? Chris, are you a calzone girl?
Elizabeth Gordon
I think everyone's a calzone girl, right?
Chris
I'm not my mom, sadly.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, really?
Ryland Adams
Yeah. Whoa. So is this a new menu item? Did we confirm or deny? It said new.
Lizzie
That's new.
Ryland Adams
These are our hot dogs.
Elizabeth Gordon
Not to be confused with your hot dogs.
Ryland Adams
And this is the hot dog we need for our hack.
Elizabeth Gordon
Slice her open.
Ryland Adams
I guess everyone's gonna want a bite of this food. It's pretty tough.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, no.
Chris
I will say the chicken bake that was eaten off camera was a little overcooked.
Ryland Adams
Really?
Chris
Yeah, but it's still good. Still delicious, but a little more cooked than normal.
Ryland Adams
I didn't touch that one. Chris, if you want that one. Thank you.
Lizzie
Thank you.
Ryland Adams
Get your first bite on camera. Spencer. Yeah, it looks weird. The inside.
Lizzie
I'd rather not have seen what the inside looks like, to be honest.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think that's kind of how every calzone is. Like, that's no one's business. With something inside her. I mean, like, it's like peeking over the clear curtain of a C section.
Ryland Adams
Of course. Yeah. Cheers.
Lizzie
Cheers, Judy.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I. We're doing this together.
Ryland Adams
However you want.
Elizabeth Gordon
They wanted. I love it.
Lizzie
It's pretty good, actually.
Ryland Adams
Really?
Chris
Yeah.
Ryland Adams
I need to put this down so I can pick it without it spilling it needs ranch.
Chris
Costco rarely lets me down with its.
Lizzie
It does need ranch.
Chris
Food court items.
Ryland Adams
Pepperoni and Italian sausage. She's.
Chris
That felt like an ad. Pepperoni and the day.
Ryland Adams
It's good. I like this more than their pizza, maybe. And the cheese crusted on top. A Costco. All this food, by the way. $34.
Elizabeth Gordon
Whoa.
Ryland Adams
Like four milkshakes, two cookies, three hot dogs. Calzone. Crazy cuz Costco keeps the costs low.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, is that what they say?
Ryland Adams
I don't know. They should.
Chris
Kevin Hart said it once.
Ryland Adams
So one. One of the. Obviously the main food hack is the pumpkin pie milkshake. Another is cutting open the. What are their hot pockets called? Chicken bake. And inserting surgically. Inserting a hot dog surgically.
Elizabeth Gordon
Huh?
Spencer
Scalpel.
Ryland Adams
You want to. You want to create it for us, Lizzie?
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know. I don't.
Ryland Adams
I'm not.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm not clear on this.
Chris
You're cutting off the top and then just shoving a hot dog in there.
Elizabeth Gordon
Or I guess we could a chicken baked glizzy.
Ryland Adams
Why don't we. Yeah. Why don't we cut an end? Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Ryland Adams
She needs to process this.
Elizabeth Gordon
Do you don't want to cut it like this and just shove the dog in it like that. You want to put it in like section.
Ryland Adams
I think we should stuff it like a fudge pack.
Elizabeth Gordon
Is a fudge packer?
Ryland Adams
Just think about it.
Elizabeth Gordon
Gay.
Ryland Adams
Just think about it.
Elizabeth Gordon
I wasn't sure if it was gay.
Ryland Adams
Okay, so now we have our opening.
Elizabeth Gordon
Listen, I'm not trying to be this girl, but I don't know if it'll fit.
Ryland Adams
Well, there's a will, There's a way.
Chris
I don't know.
Elizabeth Gordon
This is full.
Ryland Adams
Like, it's already pretty full.
Lizzie
Yeah, you might have to mush them down or something. That's a pretty skinny chicken bake.
Ryland Adams
Maybe you should sl.
Chris
It is a very much thinner than normal. You know, it's very Tommy Lee.
Ryland Adams
Thicker things that fit into smaller holes. All right. Okay. Where's our plain hot dog?
Elizabeth Gordon
I just washed my hands for the record.
Ryland Adams
Perfect. We just need the dog, not the bun. Really showcase what the dog has going on. That's a perfect dog. Whoa. That's a.
Chris
That's a good size.
Ryland Adams
That dog is.
Elizabeth Gordon
Are we sure we don't want to put this behind a paywall?
Ryland Adams
Maybe it is too big. Chris too. Oh, my God. I think we have to surgically slurp out the insides. We have to cut it open from the top or the bottom.
Chris
This would have worked better if it had been a normal sized chicken bake.
Ryland Adams
Did you eat the normal one? Well, look at her open though.
Lizzie
That actually looks more like a hot though.
Ryland Adams
Oh, my. Okay.
Lizzie
Honestly, it looks good.
Ryland Adams
I think the presentation of this is even better than expected.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wow.
Chris
That actually looks good.
Ryland Adams
Whoa. Okay, let's cut this in like serving size.
Lizzie
We need to get a better knife here.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. Show what it looks like from the side point of view.
Elizabeth Gordon
Now we go.
Ryland Adams
Wow. Do you want this one, Spencer? Sure.
Chris
I still think from ease of eating it purposes, if we didn't have to cut it open, it would have been. I know. It couldn't have happened with it.
Ryland Adams
I think the hot dog vibe is good.
Chris
It's aesthetically nice.
Elizabeth Gordon
Next time we need like a hunting knife.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, we gotta get a knife set here. There you go. Thank you.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh. All right. Chicken glizzy.
Ryland Adams
Everybody in? Wow. Wow. I don't know. What do you guys think about Chicken beef and mystery beef.
Elizabeth Gordon
I hate it when you talk about it. I want very little to do with this. How's it going with that bite, you guys?
Ryland Adams
I've never been into a chicken bake. It's too, like, tuna fishy salt for me.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I'm skipping this.
Lizzie
It's very salty.
Ryland Adams
I'll say that.
Chris
I love it.
Ryland Adams
It's good. I'm a huge fan. I'm not big into the chicken bake.
Elizabeth Gordon
Take it, girl. Happy birthday.
Ryland Adams
I think my problem with the chicken bake, I just stated it. It tastes like tuna fish with a lot of salt. Yeah.
Lizzie
It can get so salty so, so quickly, and it kind of feels like you're eating, like, can something that's coming from a can, like a chicken soup from a can or something like that.
Ryland Adams
But I feel like the calzone doesn't taste anything like that. The calzone.
Chris
If you love a chicken bake, though, this is fantastic.
Lizzie
I love the glizzies.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's a hot dog.
Ryland Adams
It's a hot dog. Oh, just the plain hot dog.
Lizzie
We'll just like. That's what makes that good to me.
Ryland Adams
To me.
Chris
This elevated the hot dog to me.
Ryland Adams
Interesting.
Elizabeth Gordon
Are you still eating it?
Ryland Adams
No.
Elizabeth Gordon
You're calzone in.
Ryland Adams
I'm back to the calzone. You can get your regular hot dog.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know if I want to eat that on camera.
Ryland Adams
I mean, just take one bite for the class.
Lizzie
What are you gonna do off camera? That's different than on camera.
Elizabeth Gordon
It just feels like a private thing to eat a hot dog.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, I knew. I do know what you mean. Let's see that first bite.
Chris
Like eating a banana.
Ryland Adams
See?
Elizabeth Gordon
Especially when he's talking to you like that.
Ryland Adams
It's like, we can take our first bite together. I'll join you. I got a dog. The same thing.
Lizzie
You guys want a lady in the dog?
Ryland Adams
Do you want half the dog? Sure.
Lizzie
I'm not gonna say none of that.
Elizabeth Gordon
He's not an idiot. Right?
Ryland Adams
I'll give you the one with more of the the dog. You can have that. I love that.
Chris
They, like, famously take a loss on their hot dogs and have, like, never raised the price and have like.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, really?
Lizzie
The CEO, they tried to raise the price and he said, if you raise the price of the hot dogs, I'll kill you.
Ryland Adams
He said that in a meeting.
Elizabeth Gordon
What a g I love.
Ryland Adams
Maybe I'll shop at Costco again. All right. That is so much better than it inside the chicken Baker M. That's how.
Elizabeth Gordon
Christopher Nolan intended it.
Ryland Adams
I with some mustard, too. I love mustard.
Elizabeth Gordon
I think mustard is a Girls, girls, girls, girl.
Ryland Adams
That is good.
Lizzie
This is so good.
Ryland Adams
Oh yeah, it just hits the spot. The bun's good. It's everything you could want.
Elizabeth Gordon
I heard that eating a hot dog takes some time off your life and I'm just like, then I don't want the time.
Ryland Adams
Take.
Elizabeth Gordon
Take it.
Lizzie
Time well spent, I would say.
Ryland Adams
The only like, the only like ultra processed food I'll give my kids are hot dogs. Cuz they deserve to have that joy.
Lizzie
Yeah, they're American children. They need.
Ryland Adams
They deserve it. It's their birthright. They eat it very healthy. But I'm like, I'll give you a dog.
Chris
That's the one exception.
Elizabeth Gordon
And ice cream licks.
Ryland Adams
Okay, we're going to finish this off camera and we'll be back for our ice cream sweet treats. They're in the freezer. Freezing.
Elizabeth Gordon
I was trying.
Ryland Adams
You did it. So we are starting with the ice cream sandwich and I actually split this in fourths to start. Will you do this on your phone? Show it on your phone?
Elizabeth Gordon
Yes.
Ryland Adams
So I actually split this in fourths because I just figured with soft serve if I put it all there it's just all gonna ooze out so we can all like finesse our own.
Elizabeth Gordon
It'd be a melted cream pie.
Ryland Adams
This whole episode is so sexy. Okay, so everyone's gonna grab their own dollop of ice cream.
Chris
A dollop of days.
Elizabeth Gordon
You kind of want to cut my cookie in half down the middle. Okay.
Ryland Adams
Spencer, come on in. Okay. Oh. Oh, wow. That looks gorgeous. I feel like it's going to melt quick. Oh, I see what you're doing.
Elizabeth Gordon
A skinny girl hack.
Ryland Adams
Wow, the ice cream is nice. Wow. I can't contain myself. Is it as good as it looks? I haven't taken a full blown bite, but it's.
Lizzie
I might do open faced.
Ryland Adams
You're doing open face.
Lizzie
Well, that just seems like a lot.
Ryland Adams
All right, I gotta get some table so I can lean over here, take some table. You come in closer. I can be really close to Lizzie. Spencer, you're not in. Oh, sorry. You're in now.
Chris
Okay.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Spencer
A dollop.
Ryland Adams
A dollop, a dollop. Oh, there's nothing wrong with that. It's a big bite. Open face is the way to go.
Chris
Yeah, I'm gonna buy a classic and then open face. That's good.
Elizabeth Gordon
There is nothing wrong with that.
Ryland Adams
That is. I would almost even give it. Better than good, I would say.
Lizzie
Yeah, but I always meant like obviously this is good.
Chris
No.
Lizzie
Oh my God.
Ryland Adams
But they're oh, my God.
Chris
Sorry.
Ryland Adams
I know. It's good. It's good. It's good. Good.
Elizabeth Gordon
This is like wedding cake good.
Ryland Adams
Like, I would go. I would give it a nine out of ten.
Lizzie
Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm so glad we didn't buy that sheet cake now.
Ryland Adams
Wow, that's really good.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's because the center of the cookie is not cooked.
Ryland Adams
It's fancy. Yeah.
Lizzie
Nothing doughy.
Ryland Adams
That's exactly how I like my cookies. A little bit crunchy on the outside and edges and almost undercooked on the.
Lizzie
And like gooey in the.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Lizzie
And when it's warm and it's like gooses.
Ryland Adams
Gooses out. Have you ever met someone who's like, I don't.
Chris
I don't like a soft cookie.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, psychopath.
Chris
I don't like a soft cookie. Well, okay, let's. Let's stop.
Ryland Adams
Did you hear? What?
Elizabeth Gordon
You don't like a soft cookie either.
Lizzie
He thinks that chewy because I don't.
Ryland Adams
Like chewy Chips Ahoy.
Lizzie
Those are like me too.
Elizabeth Gordon
They're gross.
Lizzie
They're gummy and gross.
Chris
Said she doesn't like soft cookies.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I'm raising them.
Chris
That's a good point.
Ryland Adams
That's a good point. Oh, my God. This is good. We have like eight more desserts. I've got to chill out.
Lizzie
I have to go back a pie so vanilla.
Chris
I'm still stuck on this.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't like two Chips Ahoy.
Ryland Adams
Just that.
Elizabeth Gordon
Cuz they're disgusting.
Ryland Adams
Too soft.
Lizzie
That, like, is not for me.
Ryland Adams
Okay, I'm going to cut while these reset really fast.
Chris
I've had too much.
Ryland Adams
Okay, now we're back with their caramel or. No, this is their brownie sundae. Right? I think so. This is their brownie Sunday vanilla chocolate ice cream brush brownies and caramel. Wow.
Chris
There's no way it's gonna be as good as the cookie.
Ryland Adams
The cookie was so good. Only thing better could probably be adding cookie.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you're crazy. That's too much.
Ryland Adams
Oh, the brownie bites are nice.
Chris
It's actually better than I thought.
Ryland Adams
The brownie bites. Are they. Fuck.
Elizabeth Gordon
Dang.
Ryland Adams
They are good. Whoa.
Elizabeth Gordon
Why are we thinking they're so good?
Ryland Adams
They're really moist.
Chris
It takes it to a new level.
Ryland Adams
Are you guys lying?
Elizabeth Gordon
You know I'm not trying.
Lizzie
They hold the texture really well.
Elizabeth Gordon
Dang. And Lizzy does feel like I'm being baited right now.
Ryland Adams
Lizzy didn't want to try because she was like, the caramel's throwing it off. I'm like, you're stupid.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, I just I'm living for the pumpkin pie moment and I'm terrified of what will happen if I do all of it.
Ryland Adams
It's so good. And then if you added chocolate chip cookie on this too. Cookie and brownie.
Chris
Yeah, I'm going to try this. But this, the cookie was so good that I was like, oh, this is going to be lackluster after that. And it's still good.
Ryland Adams
Cookie crumbles and brownie. Costco soft serve is incredible.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm going to. No Costco soft serve goes so hard.
Lizzie
It really brings me back to, like, ice cream day at, like, school period, you know what I mean?
Ryland Adams
Where you get the chocolate or the.
Lizzie
Vanilla or the two in one swirl?
Ryland Adams
I love a swirl. Miss me. With just chocolate or just vanilla. We know.
Elizabeth Gordon
I was telling Bernard.
Ryland Adams
You don't think he knew that he. Oh, did you know? Yeah, I did know that. Thank you very much.
Lizzie
It was actually said at the beginning of the video. Oh, really?
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm blacked out. This is why I couldn't have another taste because I'm already unwell. I could drive all the way home.
Ryland Adams
I've been overserved.
Chris
My boyfriend gets really upset when I eat chocolate on the show because I'm sick later on and he has to deal with it. So if everyone could lie in the comments and say, chris, good job on restraining yourself and not eating any chocolate, I'd really appreciate it.
Elizabeth Gordon
All the comments.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Chris
I don't think he's going to watch the whole thing, so just fly through.
Ryland Adams
Me in the coffee. Crazy. No chocolate.
Lizzie
You have literally have a chocolate on your lip as you're saying.
Ryland Adams
Stop.
Chris
It's not chocolate.
Ryland Adams
It's poo poo. Are we going to try a bite of, like, just a taste of the pumpkin pie before we mix it with the ice cream?
Elizabeth Gordon
I mean, you can do whatever you want.
Ryland Adams
I think we have to, right? Just like a tiny taste.
Elizabeth Gordon
This is kind of the only pie I have.
Ryland Adams
What do you mean?
Elizabeth Gordon
Like the Costco pumpkin pie.
Ryland Adams
Okay, if I. I'm gonna scoop a piece for us to just.
Lizzie
It's way wetter than I thought it was gonna be.
Ryland Adams
It is really wet. Look how wet that is. Look at this jiggly wetness.
Elizabeth Gordon
Now you're making me not want it.
Lizzie
Making you want one thing, not the other.
Ryland Adams
Jiggly wetness. Hey, he said that. Here, let's. I'm just gonna go like this so everyone can have, like a taste before we add pie era ice cream. We've got an all encounter convincing bite, crust and all.
Elizabeth Gordon
Are you a pumpkin Pie, man.
Ryland Adams
Very. It's very canned pumpkin, like, you hate it.
Lizzie
I don't think I like pumpkin pie.
Chris
I love pumpkin pie.
Ryland Adams
It's really wet. Is it good? I don't like it at all. I don't like it that much.
Elizabeth Gordon
Really wet.
Chris
I like it a lot. But I love pumpkin pie.
Elizabeth Gordon
Get this pie a towel.
Ryland Adams
I was doing us no favors. I forgot the light.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, man.
Ryland Adams
We were all hideous and to. I don't see the difference. Are we beautiful, though? Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
Well, we still can't see you.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Chris
Oh, that's for the best, probably.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you're the most clean here. I showered yesterday.
Ryland Adams
I'm hiding that. I ate chocolate this morning.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, really?
Ryland Adams
I didn't.
Lizzie
I shower every morning.
Ryland Adams
Good for you. Seven days a week, brother. Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wow.
Lizzie
It's like, now it's, like, the way I, like, have to, like, wake up.
Elizabeth Gordon
I'm a boy before bed. Girly.
Ryland Adams
I do both because my feet get very dang.
Lizzie
See, what I do is I turn on the shower head if my feet are gross and I aim it at the ground and I just sort of walk around in the water. Yeah.
Ryland Adams
This is a thing.
Chris
My friend said this is a thing. Straight men.
Spencer
Okay.
Chris
Our straight men.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Chris
Because I feel like it's how you clean a.
Elizabeth Gordon
No, you don't clean anything by doing that.
Lizzie
You definitely do.
Ryland Adams
I.
Lizzie
My feet will have dirt and muck on them.
Elizabeth Gordon
Wait, what are you talking about? Of course you can clean.
Lizzie
And then I. I squirt.
Ryland Adams
I put soap.
Lizzie
I. I have a soap thing where I squirt it down, I squirt it onto the floor, and I just shuffle around.
Ryland Adams
Are you around barefoot?
Elizabeth Gordon
That's my loofah on the floor now, because I can't bend over. So I drop the loofah and I step all over the loofah.
Lizzie
If I'm wearing, like, sandals all day. If I'm wearing, like, Crocs all day.
Ryland Adams
Right.
Lizzie
And my feet are gross. It's mainly, like, in the summer.
Elizabeth Gordon
My feet are gross always.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. We gotta get into this pumpkin piece. Yeah. Shane. Yeah. All right. So I guess everyone just need. We need a clean fork to scoop out pumpkin into our milkshake, so everyone needs some vanilla. Okay. Do you want to do this? No, he doesn't.
Spencer
Can I take a lead?
Ryland Adams
Please do. Let me go get my other.
Elizabeth Gordon
Steer the ship home, Captain.
Lizzie
I don't think he knows.
Spencer
Okay. Is this all the ice cream?
Ryland Adams
Yeah, he's got.
Lizzie
I think he's getting more.
Spencer
We need so much more.
Ryland Adams
He's getting more.
Elizabeth Gordon
He's Anymore. Okay. Thank God we have a whole freshie.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Here you go. I thought everyone could just make their own personalized ones. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, let me get you a clean spoon then.
Elizabeth Gordon
Are you making, like, a McFlurry of it?
Ryland Adams
You are there.
Spencer
Yes. So this is very specific, and you have to do it exact. Here's what I'll do. I'll make the ultimate one, and then I can scoop out the finished product a little bit.
Ryland Adams
Okay, good.
Spencer
We're all on the same team.
Ryland Adams
I think. I. I've already found my favorite, and it's just the vanilla ice cream on the chocolate chip cookie. Yes, agree. Now that I know that pumpkin pie is kind of gross, I'm not that interested in this. It's okay. Really. It's a little wet and very canned.
Chris
Spencer, you said you didn't really like pumpkin pies.
Lizzie
Well, I think maybe I like good ones.
Ryland Adams
Oh, okay.
Spencer
Costco is known for their pumpkin pies. I'm a little sure.
Ryland Adams
Well, they're known for it being $6 probably.
Lizzie
I wonder if, like, closer to Thanksgiving, they start making it better.
Spencer
Okay, I'm gonna make roe.
Ryland Adams
What is that shirt?
Elizabeth Gordon
It's his merch.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, this is my own. I mean, from, like, six years ago. Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay.
Ryland Adams
Okay.
Spencer
Okay. So we're taking an entire piece of pumpkin pie.
Chris
Oh.
Spencer
And then we're.
Ryland Adams
Oh, come on. Here. Do you want a picture with that?
Spencer
That's a picture.
Ryland Adams
Do you want a picture with that? Cute. Slay sister. Oh, wait.
Spencer
This is a good for. Okay.
Lizzie
Slice, sister.
Ryland Adams
This is good.
Elizabeth Gordon
A thumbnail.
Ryland Adams
Okay. Post. Okay. The lighting's.
Spencer
No, this is terrible. Okay, we'll remake this. We'll remake this.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, there's a.
Lizzie
It's a big pie.
Ryland Adams
It's a big pie.
Spencer
Okay, so now we're really getting in. I'm, like, weirdly good at this.
Lizzie
There's a certain look you get when you're doing some food combinations that I just trust. I trust you.
Spencer
Thank you. It's like a intense Uber driver.
Ryland Adams
Yeah. The C is.
Spencer
And he's going 100. And you're like, you know what? For some reason, I trust.
Ryland Adams
Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
But he won't talk to you, which is nice.
Lizzie
No.
Ryland Adams
Love that. Oh, the noises.
Spencer
Keep the trust.
Elizabeth Gordon
Sounds like some.
Ryland Adams
We're really.
Spencer
I want it fully mixed. Like, we're talking, like, full on.
Lizzie
This is, like, why you don't watch, like, hot dog get made.
Elizabeth Gordon
You know what I mean?
Lizzie
It's like, I just want to see the finished product.
Spencer
Yeah, you don't need the. Behind the Scenes.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, exactly.
Lizzie
Yeah, they just match a bunch of meat together.
Ryland Adams
Tube product.
Spencer
Okay. Trust me, the color coloring is getting good.
Elizabeth Gordon
I don't know.
Chris
I'm into it.
Elizabeth Gordon
I trust you, but I might be out.
Ryland Adams
I'm so unapproached. Don't look to look.
Spencer
Hold on. Rylan, can you get me little bowls?
Ryland Adams
Yeah, there's two cups and then every. Well, yeah, I have one right here are the. You can use Chris's bowl.
Spencer
Oh, the Gucci cups.
Ryland Adams
Oh, yeah. Those are Gucci cups.
Elizabeth Gordon
Did I do that?
Ryland Adams
Oh.
Spencer
Oh, come on. That's going to be good.
Ryland Adams
Okay, here's a clean bowl. Chris's bowl's here. And let me get a new.
Elizabeth Gordon
We love the presentation.
Spencer
Oh, we're not done yet.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, what's next?
Chris
Thank you. Hold on, hold on.
Spencer
Wait for it.
Elizabeth Gordon
It won't be cool.
Ryland Adams
A little crumble, a little crust. Oh, a decorative pie.
Elizabeth Gordon
Piece of palm.
Ryland Adams
Of such a cute lace. Delicately.
Chris
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Ryland Adams
Wow.
Elizabeth Gordon
You better work, girl.
Spencer
Oh, come on.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, hi.
Spencer
Do I work for Rachael Ray magazine or what?
Elizabeth Gordon
Dad, who is she? Martha Stewart. Oh, yes. Very good.
Ryland Adams
Okay, that one's not as. Wow.
Spencer
You see that?
Ryland Adams
You see the idea?
Lizzie
Yeah, we already see God presentation.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's a vibe. It's more than it's. That's all that it needs.
Spencer
Someone hire me.
Ryland Adams
It might be too much pumpkin pie at this.
Spencer
It's decorative.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's a garnish. No one eats garnish rye.
Spencer
Okay, so who's trying these? 1, 2, 3.
Ryland Adams
Are you having one?
Elizabeth Gordon
Might be out.
Ryland Adams
That's fine.
Elizabeth Gordon
Okay. Yeah, you take one.
Spencer
One.
Ryland Adams
This will be our sh. Okay, I'm scared out verbally.
Lizzie
It actually smells good.
Spencer
It's good.
Elizabeth Gordon
Oh, I was so worried.
Ryland Adams
Scoot in, Spencer.
Chris
I like it.
Spencer
It's good.
Elizabeth Gordon
It's good.
Ryland Adams
M. Yum. You are good. I still don't like it. Oh, no, I think it's good.
Chris
I like it. What I will say is the cookie with the vanilla was so such an intense flavor that this following that I think is like.
Spencer
Listen, I don't think it's like, amazing. It's not as good as the ding dong wiener sistel milkshake we had last night at midnight. But it's still good.
Chris
It is good.
Ryland Adams
It's not bad, but you're better off just getting vanilla ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie.
Spencer
Well, here's the thing. It's better than the McDonald's.
Elizabeth Gordon
I.
Spencer
Well, I guess I didn't try that.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, no, that was really good because you had the Oreos. The Oreos changed the game. Honestly, the McDonald's one was special.
Spencer
Listen, I didn't create the idea.
Ryland Adams
Yeah, that's true. Well, no, but you did make it. Beautiful.
Spencer
Thank you. I will say, presentation wise. I'm clicking on this thumbnail.
Ryland Adams
This one was good. It's vanilla chocolate brownie caramel.
Chris
I love it here. When you get a little bit of the crust of the pie that.
Ryland Adams
That.
Chris
I need more of that.
Ryland Adams
The texture.
Chris
Yeah.
Elizabeth Gordon
I do it with regular, hard. Hard ice cream. Like vanilla ice cream.
Spencer
Are we trying it?
Ryland Adams
Your chocolate ice cream's in the freezer.
Elizabeth Gordon
Thank you.
Chris
It is still good, though. I like it.
Ryland Adams
I don't know. Okay, we gotta go get thumbnails.
Elizabeth Gordon
Fast, fast, fast, fast.
Ryland Adams
Even though I'm trying to get more of the cookie on the brownie one.
Spencer
Doesn't look as good as that first one I made.
Ryland Adams

Guests: Shane, Spencer
This episode is a dynamic blend of the usual banter between Ryland, Lizzie, co-producer Chris, plus guests Shane and Spencer, centered around the duo's mission: trying viral "secret menu" food hacks from the Costco food court. In between taste tests, the hosts tackle deeply personal subjects—pregnancy struggles, friendship in adulthood, celebrity gossip (with a focus on Taylor Swift), food obsessions, and the realities of parenthood—while keeping their humor uncensored and their commentary sharp. Expect lots of laughter, chaos, and, as always, a no-topic-off-limits approach.

If you want to laugh, learn about secret menu foods you (maybe) shouldn’t try, and hear real talk about friendship, parenting, and pop culture, this is the episode to cue up next.
