The thread does not make its own way. Christ is the needle, and every son is the thread, carried through by his movement, shaped by his direction, made beautiful by the hand of the Creator. This eighth instalment of The Power To Work Effectively returns to the foundation of the series before pressing deeper. The teaching revisits the PLDE framework, covering what it means to be Positioned, to hold Legality, to operate in Delegated authority, and to be Empowered by the Spirit. Principalities are not beings with autonomous power over your life. By both Greek and English definition, a principality is a region, a sovereign territory, and sons have been given hereditary rulership over every one of them as co-heirs with Christ. The Holy Spirit is the seal of that appointment, and breath commands wind. Whatever space the enemy claims, the Spirit already holds authority there. Since Christ is the Principle, the source and sustainer of all things, nothing created in him can exercise legitimate authority over those who are in him. Sons are not ascending toward authority. They are already seated far above every rule, every power, every dominion, and every name that is named.SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:16, Ephesians 1:20-21, Ephesians 2:6, Ezekiel 37:9, Hebrews 12:23SERIES: The Power To Work Effectively. This series establishes the positional, legal, and spiritual grounds on which sons operate in authority over every principality.Subscribe to The Sonship Place (T.S.P) Church on Spotify or Apple Podcasts for weekly teachings. The finished work of Christ cancelled every legal charge held against sons, and this session of corporate prayer stands on that ground without apology.TSP Prays for June 2026 opens in thanksgiving for what the cross secured. Drawing from Colossians 2:14-15 and Colossians 1:27, sons give voice to the blotting out of every accusation and ordinance, the mystery now revealed, and Christ in us as the guaranteed hope of glory. The session then moves into decreeing and declaring from Galatians 5:1, standing firm in the freedom Christ has already won. Sons are not submitting again to guilt, shame, the law, or the noise of life. They are praying with the Father, not at him, giving language to his finished intention so that what is already complete in heaven is made manifest on earth. This is corporate intercession rooted in sonship, not petition born of distance but declaration spoken from oneness with the Father.SCRIPTURE: Colossians 2:14-15, Colossians 1:27, Galatians 5:1Subscribe to The Sonship Place (T.S.P) Church on Spotify or Apple Podcasts for weekly teachings. Christ is the sole Principle, and every claim to authority over a believer's life that originates outside of him is a fraud. This teaching is the seventh installment in the Power to Work Effectively series and functions as a cumulative recap before advancing the PLLD framework. OC walks through each established foundation: that principalities are regions, not beings, and that sons rule over them as kings by birth, appointment, and hereditary right in Christ. The positioned truth is handled precisely. Believers do not ascend to authority. They are already seated far above every name, every rule, and every regional power, and the enemy's primary strategy is distraction, keeping sons measuring themselves against a defeated opponent instead of operating from their address in Christ. The legality pillar is then reinforced. The handwriting of requirements has been blotted out, the accuser has been cast out of heaven and rendered incapable of bringing charges, and any doctrine sending believers into a heavenly courtroom has no legal ground to stand on. Sons do not speak for victory. They speak from victory, enforcing the verdict Christ has already secured, as trophies of his triumph, not as combatants still waiting to win.SCRIPTURE: Colossians 2:14-15, Ephesians 1:20-21, Luke 10:19, Matthew 28:18, Romans 8:37SERIES: Rooting Sundays. Christ is the Principal, the origin and source of all things, which means any being claiming to be the source of circumstances in a believer's life is a fraud. This teaching, the sixth installment in the Power to Work Effectively series, consolidates and advances the case that principalities are not sovereign beings but regions, inherited territories that sons rule as heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. The argument draws from Colossians 1 and 2 and Ephesians 1 and 2 to establish that no family curse, no bloodline power, and no demonic claim can function as a determining principle over the life of a born-again son. Rulership over those regions is held not by fasting or spiritual labor but by hereditary right, birthright, and appointment through the Holy Spirit, who is not oil in a bottle but a person, the anointing who seals and assigns sons within the royal household of God. Sons do not compete with the enemy. They rule from the Principal, in the name of the Principal, over every principality.SCRIPTURE: Colossians 1:15-18, Colossians 2:10, Ephesians 1:20-22, Ephesians 2:6SERIES: The Power to Work Effectively. Christ is the sole Arche, the only legitimate beginning and originating point of governance, which means every principality sons encounter is a fraudulent claim operating without legal standing. This teaching recaps and advances a five-part series on the authority sons already possess. The Greek word arche defines a principality not as a being but as a territory, a sovereign space governed by a prince through hereditary right, birth, or appointment within a royal house. Because Colossians 1:16 establishes that every throne, dominion, ruler, and authority was created through Christ and for Christ, no created power can exist outside the jurisdiction of the one through whom it was made. Colossians 2:15 then settles the legal dimension: Christ did not merely defeat principalities morally, he stripped them completely, apekduomai, of every weapon and every legal basis for operation. The distinction between exusia and dunamis clarifies what this means practically. Sons do not contest raw force with raw force. They exercise jurisdiction over force, a jurisdiction determined by relationship with God, not by the intensity of prayer or fasting. The Shalia principle governs how this works: the one sent carries the full authority of the sender. As sons, fully credentialed ambassadors of God, the authority operative in a room is not personal power but the weight of the one being represented. Sons are not fighting for victory. They are enforcing a verdict already rendered.SCRIPTURE: Revelation 3:14, John 1:1, Colossians 1:16, Colossians 1:18, Colossians 2:15, Luke 10:19, John 14:13SERIES: The Power To Work Effectively. The Greek word *arche*, translated "principality," belongs exclusively to Christ. Every being that claims that title outside of him is not a threat to be feared. It is a fraud to be exposed. This fourth installation of "The Power to Walk Effectively" brings the series to its sharpest edge yet. Having established exousia and dunamis across three prior sessions, including the seven simultaneous realities a son submits to when yielding to God's power, the teaching now turns to the question of domain and object. Authority without domain is incomplete, and power without object is abstract. So the question being answered is not whether sons have power, but where it is exercised and over what. The answer begins with the word *arche*, the same word Jesus claims for himself in Revelation 3:14 as "the beginning and origin of God's creation," and which John 1:1 and Colossians 1:18 confirm belongs to Christ alone. Any principality not rooted in Christ is a counterfeit wearing a stolen name, and sons who do not know this will waste their authority fighting battles already won against people who were never the enemy.SCRIPTURE: Revelation 3:14, John 1:1, Colossians 1:18SERIES: The Power to Walk Effectively. The Holy Spirit is not a lesser God, a spiritual assistant, or a divine messenger running errands for the Father and Son. He is fully God, one in nature, direction, and intention with the Father and Son, executing his distinct and irreplaceable work in the economy of salvation. This teaching maps the Trinitarian structure of the finished work with precision. The Father created, established the redemptive plan, and sent the Son. The Son fulfilled the Father's will, atoning for sin and reconciling humanity to God. Now the Spirit's work comes into focus: to establish the nature of Christ in the believer, confirm identity, and empower sons to embody what has already been accomplished. The argument is not about the Spirit's power in the abstract. It is about the believer knowing their role clearly enough to stop attempting to do what only the Spirit does.SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 1:3-14, John 14:16-17, Romans 8:14-16, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18SERIES: The Power To Work Effectively. What does it mean for every woman to bear the name Son? This Rooting Sunday teaching unpacks the theology of sonship as a cross-gender designation in Christ — not a metaphor, but a position of identity and authority given to all who are in Him.Rooted in Colossians 2:6-7, these Sunday gatherings establish identity, unpack Scripture, and form the theological foundation. In Part II of the Road to Resurrection series, this teaching shows that the title "son" in Scripture belongs to every believer regardless of gender — because sonship is not about biology, it is about being born of the Father.SERIES: Road to Resurrection (Part II)SERIES: Rooting SundaysRooting Sundays are T.S.P's weekly Sunday gatherings for sons who want to go deeper into identity and Scripture.
