It's going to make you a whole lot richer too. This is the Spiritual Hustler Podcast. Well, hello my beautiful souls and welcome back to the Spiritual Hustler podcast. I hope this podcast today finds you relishing in the frequencies of the holidays. The end of the year as we settle in and get cozy and celebrate the beauty of being alive. I really think that this time of year, while it is so crazy, it becomes, I think, a fever pitch of intensity like closing down Q4 and making sure that all of our travel plans are in place and that we're really being everything to everyone when it comes to the holiday season, that you really take a minute just for you. That you take many minutes just for you. And I am so grateful that you're here listening to this podcast. You could listen to so many and that you choose to listen to mine is such a blessing. And I hope that this podcast is some of those minutes that you give yourself, that you give this time to yourself as a gift to tap in to your power. The Hustle, the new Earth Hustler that we are all becoming as a badass, empowered, professional, entrepreneurial woman in the world as much as a spiritual being here on a quest to really know herself at a soul level, at a cellular level. And on the show, we blend both. We reclaim all parts of ourselves. The woman that wants to make moves and make money and make an impact and be seen in the world, to shine her light and to touch clients and community and the world around her, while also creating the space and the peace and the rest and the slowness and the stillness that is required for us to show up as our highest selves. We talk about it all on the Spiritual Hustler podcast. And so thank you for dropping in with me. It's just me today on another solo episode. I love these moments where I just get to be with you and tell you what's on my heart. And today we're really going to talk about the business side of our identities, which is always going to reflect our personal expansion and our personal growth. I've been saying this for years, that your professional success will only grow to the extent of which you grow as a human being and ultimately a spiritual being. Those things are not disconnected. They are incredibly, exclusively connected. And this episode today is really here to talk about the different stages of how we self identify in our businesses. And I know that there's a vast community of my audience that has all sorts of businesses. Some of you don't even own your own business. Some of you work for other companies. But I really believe that we are designed to be leaders, that the world needs us to step up and lead, whether that's a company, whether that's a team, whether that's a vision. And I know that I am not the only woman that is responsible for this shift in the collective consciousness. The goddesses of Egypt told me this years ago, which transformed my entire life, which is why I'm coming on this podcast every single week to help you reenact your own codes of consciousness as a feminine body here on this planet at this time. It is no accident that you incarnated here during this shift. We are literally at an apex of humanity and we need the men. We need the masculine. Thank God for the polarity, the yin, the yang. We've just been living in an over dominated society that has overvalued the masculine and undervalued the feminine. And at the end of the day, I really believe that women who tap into their masculine power will help to change the world because we will help to lead the world. And men who tap into their feminine power will help heal the world. So let's talk about your masculine power. Let's talk about your role as a leader and the different stages of growth that we can connect to along the way as we empower ourselves to become more and more successful. And looking back on my own trajectory, I can really see that there were essentially three stages that I had to go through in order to really step into my true power as a leader. And I'm offering this roadmap to you today to ideally see yourself in these different archetypes and decide where you might be and what's possible for you as you continue to grow into your next evolution and highest identity. There is of course, the first stage that many of us step into when we want to start a business, which is us. It's just me and the idea, right? It's me and the gifts that I have, it's me and the services I want to offer. And that is typically this solopreneur identity where we are really just working for ourselves. It's usually us in front of our laptops, at a coffee shop, at our kitchen table, maybe nomadic, just being only and merely responsible for our own client work, our own brand, our own content, and not having any support around us. And while that is an incredibly freedom based lifestyle, you really don't have to manage a team or answer to anyone, or cut payroll checks or deal with a multitude of systems and operations. There is a tipping point that you will ultimately get to where living in a solopreneur world and identity, just one, isn't sustainable and ultimately isn't scalable. And I want to say, if you feel like you're at a stage where your solopreneur identity works for you, that is absolutely amazing. In many ways, when I look back at the Jessica zweig from like 2016 17, when it was just me and my laptop, sitting in a coffee shop with my coffee and my laptop sticker, little girl with a big dream. I relish those days. I relish the simplicity of those days. But here's what happens when you're good at what you do, and I know all of you are. There is only so far that you can get with that level of capacity because you're only one person and time is your greatest currency. And when it comes to really growing your business, you're going to need to learn how to wear the hat of entrepreneur. And there's a distinction. An entrepreneur is really here to build a team around her that has the ability to be a little bit on her business more so than in her business. And that identity really creates, I think, a lot more. And this is a beautiful thing, hustle, because you've got more plates to juggle and spin and you've got more people to answer to and you ideally have a bigger boat when it comes to your expenses. And you need to be able to ensure that you're delivering as the founder month to month in order to make your business go. And there is a lot of glorification around this word entrepreneur, right? I mean, for good reason. And we live in an amazing time in Humanity where we can go work for ourselves and design a business that is absolutely an expression of our gifts and make money at it. I just think it's so exciting right now to be alive and to be a woman in the world who is ambitious and professionally oriented. And we are all complete co creators of our own reality. And to really allow ourselves, ourselves to step into the entrepreneurial identity is an activation. It allows us to dig deep into new muscles that we didn't even know we had, to really activate a new sense of power and success. But there is a shadow side to that as well. Just like the solopreneur who can only get so far and needs to be constantly on and managing every little dotted I and cross T. When you step into that next level of entrepreneur, you can get sucked into the overwhelm of it all. And if you aren't really structured with operations and great support and a solid foundation of systems, you're going to burn out. And the entrepreneurial identity, while it is glorified, I think is missing something. It's missing an opportunity and the ultimate invitation for us as women to step into our CEO identity. And there's a distinction. Entrepreneurial mindset is the go, go, go. I'm always so busy. I've got so much I'm responsible for. I am always on. And that for me at least I'll speak for myself, had a little bit of a soft addiction around like, wow, I'm important. I'm needed in the world. I'm needed by my team, I'm needed by my clients, I'm needed by my community. I am responsible to be available to my business 24 7. And that is a recipe for burnout. Yes. But it is ultimately a recipe for the dilution of your greatest gifts and service to the world. And you know, I had someone very snarky a couple years ago say, you know, we were talking about LinkedIn and he was like, you know, just because someone calls themselves a CEO on their LinkedIn profile, like, doesn't really make them a CEO. Just because you started a business doesn't make you a CEO. And like I said, it was a little bit of a snarky comment and it was a little judgy and I was like, I kind of get it. But kudos to anyone that wants to step into that role and really be that leader in their own life. But at the end of the day, there was some truth to that. And to really, really come into a CEO identity is an upgrade. It is a digging deep of really not only understanding how to run a business, how to run yourself, how to manage your own energy, how to manage your own emotions, how to actually, truly empower your team around you, how to delegate with clarity, how to accept support with humility, how to recognize that by virtue of the fact that you are the quote, unquote CEO, you do hold a different power, you do hold a different enigmatic energy in how you move through your business every single day. Being conscious of the words you say, how you treat people, how you energetically use your body to communicate in order to make other people feel safe and seen, and ultimately how you draw. I've talked about this on the show before. Your sacred lines, otherwise known as your boundaries, so that you can really hold the frequency of your gifts for the sake of your business and the world. And I'm not here to say that there is a better or a wrong or a best in any of this. But to really activate into a CEO identity requires you to take seriously not just the fact that you're launching a program or that you're here to create revenue, or that you're here to build a brand, or to structure an organizational strategy to grow your team, or to interface with your clients and make sure that they're happy, or to ensure that your customer experience and services are seamless and hold a vision. You are here to have the aptitude for all of it and to honor the privilege that it is to be a CEO. To recognize that you hold the keys to unlock the magic and the gifts in everyone else around you. At the end of the day, leadership is figuring out how to activate the leadership in other people. And when you are doing it all yourself as a solopreneur, you're spinning all the plates and you're going, going, going and hustling, hustling constantly. As the entrepreneur, your focus isn't clear enough for you to really be the impactful leader that your business needs you to be. And because I feel so strongly about this, I have created a brand new masterclass for you. It's totally free. It's called the CEO Feminine Flow Framework. This is for the overworked female entrepreneur, potentially solopreneur, who is really ready to unlock her CEO feminine archetype, to really reimagine your identity, to step out of the burnout so that you can clarify your vision as a CEO for greater profitability and peace. There are three things. Three things that a CEO must only do. Okay, there's not 10. There's not one. There's three that I want to really empower you to really focus on from the moment you take this masterclass and forward so that you can lead with more confidence in your identity as a CEO to delegate the right things as well as a brand new framework that allows you to buy back your time so that you have more time, energy and peace to fuel your business. Because your time and energy is your greatest currency. And the more time and energy you have, the more money you make. And a CEO is here to run a profitable business. Not just a business that makes money, but a business that makes money. And in this brand new masterclass, I walk you through every single aspect of this evolution and archetype and identity so that you can move beyond being a all hands on deck at the mercy of your business, your clients, your schedule, your demands. In it all the time, scrappy hustling, opportunistic to strategic and grounded and peaceful and deliberate and on it versus in it. And you hear that a lot. What does it even mean to be in it versus on it? In this masterclass, I walk you through it all so that you can not just become an empowered CEO, but an empowered queen of your business. And I'm so excited for you to get your hands on this. So the link to download it is in the show notes. And let's keep evolving together one evolutionary step at a time so that you can step into what the world needs us all to be. Divinely feminine, fully embodied, fully awake, fully remembered female leaders. All right, my beautiful souls, I'll see you on the next episode of the Spiritual Hustle podcast.
The Spiritual Hustler Podcast: Episode Summary
Title: The Difference Between Being a Solopreneur, an Entrepreneur, and a CEO
Host: Jessica Zweig
Release Date: December 17, 2024
In this insightful solo episode of The Spiritual Hustler Podcast, host Jessica Zweig delves into the nuanced distinctions between being a solopreneur, an entrepreneur, and a CEO. Drawing from her extensive experience as a serial entrepreneur, bestselling author, and business coach, Jessica offers a comprehensive roadmap for women seeking to elevate their business identities and leadership roles.
Jessica begins by setting the stage for a transformative approach to hustling, emphasizing a shift from traditional, often toxic notions of hustle to a more spiritually aligned and purpose-driven model.
Jessica Zweig [00:01]: "We hustle for meaning. We don't hustle from lack. We hustle for love. We don't hustle from survival. We hustle for humanity's thriving."
This redefinition focuses on hustling from a place of love, trust, and service to humanity, aiming to heal personal and collective wounds rooted in fear and ancestral programming.
Acknowledging the current societal imbalance that overvalues the masculine and undervalues the feminine, Jessica advocates for women to harness their inherent feminine strengths. She posits that tapping into feminine power not only empowers women professionally but also contributes to global healing.
Jessica Zweig [02:30]: "Women who tap into their masculine power will help to change the world because we will help to lead the world. And men who tap into their feminine power will help heal the world."
Jessica outlines a clear progression through three distinct business identities: Solopreneur, Entrepreneur, and CEO. Each stage represents a deeper level of personal and professional growth.
The journey often begins with the solopreneur identity, characterized by single-handedly managing all aspects of the business. This stage offers immense freedom but is limited by the capacity of one person.
Jessica Zweig [06:15]: "It's me and the idea, it's me and the gifts that I have, it's me and the services I want to offer."
While fulfilling, the solopreneur model can become unsustainable as the business grows, highlighting the need for the next phase.
Transitioning to an entrepreneur involves building a team and delegating responsibilities. This stage allows for scalability and greater impact but comes with the risk of overwhelm if not managed with proper systems and support.
Jessica Zweig [15:45]: "The entrepreneurial mindset is the go, go, go. I'm always so busy. I've got so much I'm responsible for. I am always on."
Jessica warns against the constant hustle mentality that can lead to burnout, emphasizing the importance of structure and operational efficiency.
The pinnacle of business identity is the CEO role, which demands a higher level of leadership and strategic vision. As a CEO, one must empower others, manage energy and emotions, and maintain clear boundaries to sustain both personal well-being and business profitability.
Jessica Zweig [29:20]: "To really activate into a CEO identity requires you to take seriously not just the fact that you're launching a program or that you're here to create revenue, or that you're here to build a brand...but to honor the privilege that it is to be a CEO."
This stage is about leading with intention, delegating effectively, and fostering a harmonious team environment that aligns with the company’s vision and values.
Throughout the episode, Jessica emphasizes the importance of balancing feminine and masculine energies in leadership. She advocates for a leadership style that is both assertive and nurturing, strategic and empathetic.
Jessica Zweig [22:10]: "Your sacred lines, otherwise known as your boundaries, so that you can really hold the frequency of your gifts for the sake of your business and the world."
This balance ensures that CEOs can lead effectively without compromising their personal values and well-being.
To support listeners in their journey from solopreneur to CEO, Jessica introduces her CEO Feminine Flow Framework—a free masterclass designed to help overworked female entrepreneurs reclaim their time, energy, and peace.
Jessica Zweig [35:00]: "In this masterclass, I walk you through every single aspect of this evolution and archetype and identity so that you can move beyond being an all hands on deck at the mercy of your business, your clients, your schedule, your demands."
The framework focuses on three essential actions for CEOs:
Jessica wraps up the episode by encouraging listeners to embrace their evolving business identities and step into their roles as empowered leaders. She reiterates the importance of personal and spiritual growth as the foundation for professional success.
Jessica Zweig [40:30]: "Let's keep evolving together one evolutionary step at a time so that you can step into what the world needs us all to be. Divinely feminine, fully embodied, fully awake, fully remembered female leaders."
Listeners are invited to access the CEO Feminine Flow Framework through the show notes, offering a tangible next step in their entrepreneurial journey.
