On this show you're going to learn how to stop hustling and start spiritually hustling. By pressing play. You are now part of a new movement of women who don't hustle for money. We hustle for meaning. We don't hustle from lack. We hustle for love. We don't hustle from survival. We hustle for humanity's thriving. We hustle toward healing the ancestral programming of fear and step into a new understanding of safety in the body to receive this shift isn't going to only heal your life. It's going to make you a whole lot richer too. This is the Spiritual Hustler podcast. Well, hello my beautiful spiritual hustlers. Welcome back to the podcast. I'm just a little bit excited. I'm really excited to talk about this topic today here on the Unlocking series. Every single Thursday, I drop a bonus episode, a mini episode. Sometimes we go a little short, sometimes we go a little longer. But each and every one of these unlocking episodes is a key. A key for you to unlock your own locks, whether that be in your confidence, in your abundance, in your relationships, in your divine connection to spirit, to your body. And I'm really excited for today's episode because this is a topic that I don't really talk about that much, but is a huge, huge part of my life. And I really want to give you not just my keys, but my codes. And I, I want to talk about wellness. I want to talk about health, I want to about longevity. I want to talk about how I have optimized my sacred vessel, my physical body to live my light. And it's not just about looking good and feeling fit and feeling young because all of those things are of course beautiful and valid and they make us feel better and show up with more confidence and empowerment. Yes, but I say this in my book, the Light Work, which was a USA Today bestseller. I released this book last year and it, you know, it, this book was really channeled from a higher dimension. I wrote this book in three months and I know many of you have picked up a copy. And all of the chapters are like my children. You know, I love all of them so Much. It depends on the day, but I will rotate which ones are my favorites. It's kind of hard to say. They're all my favorites, to be honest, but one of my absolute favorites. Okay, I'll just. I'll just say it is the chapter on body. And I, like you, like many women, suffered from a lot of dysmorphia with my body. I abused my body for so long, and I wanted to share that story of my journey, of how I've healed that and stepped into my highest frequency physically, not just to relate to the reader. You know, so much of this was somewhat of a personal memoir, but the book is called the Lightwork Reclaim youm Feminine Power, Live your Cosmic Truth and Illuminate the World. It is a true playbook, if you will, if you read it front to back on how to be a lightworker today, what that means to be a lightworker and how to live your light and lightworkers. And I believe that's all of you, all of my spiritual hustlers who are listening to this podcast. Your lightworker women who aren't just here to build really powerful businesses and make great money and have a big lasting impact in your communities. You're here to fucking change the world. You're here to raise consciousness, right? You're here to play a bigger game that is above this 3D construct of fear and polarity and scarcity and survival and divisiveness, to create a world filled with love and oneness and peace and safety and infinite, infinite abundance for all. And in order to do that shit, we've gotta be healthy, we've gotta feel our best physically. We have got to be vibrant and vital and stay as energized as long as possible. Because this is going to take generations to shift the access and turn the dial out of the over dominating, toxic patriarchy into a more harmonic calibrated society and vibrational world where the masculine and the feminine get to thrive together. This is going to create a better world for us every day when we wake up and start our days to live in. Yes, but also for our children and our children's children and our children's children's children. That's what it means to be a lightworker. And I say this in the book. And I'm just gonna read a couple quick paragraphs from the book throughout this episode from that chapter, Bodi, because it really anchors what I wanna talk about today. And I'm gonna get into all of the things that I do my wellness routine today and all of the ways that I know you can create the most vital, vibrant longevity and health and fitness and wellness in your life for a lot less money than, I think a lot of the Instagram accounts you, you follow tell you you have to do. But I'll just read this. I'll. I'll start here. I'd like to invite you to ascend beyond the micro, the macro, and into the multidimensional truth of what your body really is. It's not a weight or a size or a shape. It's not gluten free or allergic to pollen. Your body isn't skin and hair and muscle and skeleton and fluids. Your body is a sacred technology. It contains light encoded filaments carrying a vast amount of data and information that provides you access to multidimensionalities, expanded states of quantum consciousness, and into higher dimensions, all completely unique to your own soul's blueprint. Okay, I'm not reading anymore. Your body is the home of your soul. It is a freaking temple. And if you are like me and like most women, for a large portion of our lives, we've been conditioned to treat it like shit, to abuse it, to criticize it, to push it, to ignore it. And in order to wake up out of that slumber, because I believe that we as women have been cast a spell onto our consciousness, that our bodies are imperfect and we have to really come home to the truth of what our bodies really are. They're sacred. And if we can just start there in this conversation, if you can really anchor into that within your own being. We've made progress. Okay, Now I get told a lot. I'm very open about my wellness journey and, and what I do. I, I've. I share a lot on my Instagram. I do work with peptides and I do Botox and I'm. I do the things. But I'm 43 years old and I. I tell people all the time that I'm 43. People who don't know me when I meet them or whatever, in conversation or whenever, wherever. If I mention I'm 43, people are shocked. They're like, no way. You look like you're 30 or 32 or 35. And I don't mean to sound, you know, whatever. It's always a compliment. I'm always flattered, but it's less about what I look like and I think more about the energy that I obviously carry, but it's how I treat my body. And I have been able to, I think, in many ways, age backwards. I look younger at 43 than I looked when I was 29. And I have really hacked it in a way that is really quite affordable. And I want to talk through some of these strategies today. I'm so excited to bring this to you because it's, again, huge part of my life, a huge passion. It is something I practice daily in a multitude of ways that I want to break down for you today and give you these keys. Now, first and foremost, let's just talk about diet, okay? I'm sure we all want to know, like, what's everyone's meal plan? And I used to believe that a healthy diet was plant based salads and smoothies, okay? And I lived off of salads and smoothies for a long time. I did not eat meat. I was pescatarian for some of the time. I would dabble in chicken if, you know, if felt good. But I was really quite prideful that I was all about the vegetables and the fruits. And I will tell you that I. I started eating meat, red meat, about three years ago, and I literally couldn't eat meat, touch it for like 10 years. And I've told this story. If you've maybe heard this, forgive me, but actually, I don't tell this story to too many people. If you're a close friend, you know the story. It's the infamous taco. And I was sort of dabbling in the idea of eating meat. It was kind of running in my head, but I hadn't taken the leap yet. I didn't really feel comfortable eating meat. I love animals. Saw one too many documentaries that I shouldn't have watched on Netflix and just cut it out of my life. And then there was this one particular dinner. I'll never forget it. It was in March of 2023. I was living in Nashville, but I had flown home to visit my family. And I was at my brother's house with my niece and my nephews and my parents and my brother and his wife. And we all ordered barbecue, okay? And my brother ordered beef short rib tacos. And I ordered a fucking salad, of course. And I'm sitting at the dinner table with everyone, you know, chatting and talking and eating. And I'm sitting next to my brother, who's got these tacos on his plate. And I looked at my brother and I said, doug, can I just try a bite? Like, just give me one bite. I just want to try it. Like a little nibble. He was like, sure. Thanks, sis. Go for it. I take this taco, I put it in my hands, I hold it up to My mouth, I'm kind of like, do I really want to do this? And I put this bite of taco with the beef short ribs in my mouth and I clamped down on it to, to bite it, to start chewing it. I'm really taking you guys into this moment. I will never forget this moment. And I looked at my brother as I was chewing and he's like, are you okay? Because my eyes were like bulging out of my head. I felt my entire body. It was almost orgasmic, you guys. It was like, oh my God. I literally felt all of these circuits in my body come online as if my body was what it was. It was starving for this taste of meat. And I ended up eating all of my brother's tacos that night. And he was like, there were sides. He's like, you, you, do you, Jess, whatever you want. He's a great brother. And I have never looked back since. And protein is my point. Protein, red meat, lean chicken and turkey. And personally, don't eat pork. I can't do, I can't do that. But that's just me. But I really, really have red meat as essential part of my diet. I. I eat it multiple times a week. Sometimes I'll eat it every day if I'm on my period or whatever. And I'm just needing that nutrition and nourishment. So protein is a baseline. If I, I don't count calories, I don't really track macronutrients. For me, it's all around protein. And I try to get between eighty and a hundred grams of protein a day. So I'll have a whey smoothie in the morning. I always have a big piece of chicken or ground beef or salmon or something with lunch. And then at dinner I go like, hardcore. It's like not a 4 ounce steak, it's like a 10 ounce steak. Like, I get down with protein, so that is critical. I also really believe in hydration. Yes, water, but minerals. I use B minerals every single day. They should sponsor this podcast, by the way. And I will not drink water unless it has minerals in it. Because our water is shit and we have no minerals in our soil anymore. Based on the way our country is designed. And that's a whole other podcast. And I feel like in order to really get my digestion going and my energy up and my sleep right, and my immune system, stronger minerals are really, really key. They sort of act as the central circuitry of our system. And I drink really clean water. I have one of those, you know, dispensers in My house and we order Mountain Valley water. It's the big glass jugs. I'm a water snob. I won't drink it out of the tap. I hate drinking out of plastic. I don't leave my house without my Stanley. I literally take my Stanley to, to din. I want to drink my own clean mineralized water. And Mountain Valley is just one of the best out there and it's in glass bottles. And I just swear by clean water as a major, major hack to glowing skin and great digestion and overall health. I really believe in the power of grounding and sunshine. I wake up in the morning, I look at the sun directly in my eyes. Every morning. I actually stopped wearing sunglasses. I. I really love having natural light in my eyes. It's so sad because I have like amazing sunglasses, like 30 pair. Not all expensive, designer. Many of them are from Amazon. But I have cute fucking sunglasses, you guys, and I barely wear them because I want the light codes, the sun, the vitamin D in my eyes throughout the day. That really calibrates my melatonin, serotonin, dopamine, my hormones for my natural sleep cycles and natural energy cycles. So the sun is really important. I love to go out and ground even if it's cold or wet. I like to put, put my bare feet on the earth at least once a day. If you can stand in the sun, look right at the sky while your feet are in the ground, it's a double whammy. It's a habit stack. And it's something you can practice for free every single day. I do coffee enemas. I've talked about this a lot. I parasite cleanse. And my friend Christy Nalt, who's actually coming on the podcast soon, says if you have a pulse, you have parasites. And it's maybe not the squeakiest topic to talk about, but frankly, I love talking about poop and it's a really huge indicator of our health. And I do a parasite cleanse a couple times a year and I practice just cleansing my, my liver and my colon, my entire system. Truly my toxin release on a regular basis. With coffee enemas. You can buy a coffee enema bag on Amazon for like 25 bucks. You can buy special coffee. That's four coffee enemas specifically for $10. And it's really. I won't go into the whole process. It's not what this podcast is about, but I just want to be open about it. That that's a huge part of my wellness routine that helps me from getting sick to digestion to energy, to mood, to just releasing the toxic load in my. My body. I track my cycle. I have a free app on my phone. I use Flow Flo and I am religious about tracking my cycle. And it really allows me to plan my business and my travel the best that I can around when I have the most energy, which is in my follicular and ovulation stages. And I will be a little bit more grounded and rested and still and not be as social when I'm in my luteal and menstrual phases. I'm just here giving you guys the longevity hacks that I use. Protein, water, coffee, enemas, grounding, sun, tracking my cycle with a free app. These things don't cost a lot of money. You can really hack your wellness, your longevity for, for free a lot of the time. Now I want to talk about exercise and I want to talk about movement. Because going back to my early chapters of my body journey is the way I worked out. I wasn't just eating like salad and thinking that that was nutrition. And many times I would binge, I would purge. I had a really fucked up relationship with food. I really see food today as a form of nourishment. And I really do eat intuitively. I. I listen to my body when it comes to food. Well, the same thing goes with movement and exercise. I used to use working out as punishment. It was a way to berate myself for what I ate the day before or fit into a certain outfit that I needed to fit into by the weekend. It was. It was so abusive, honestly. And what that looked like was five days a week of hardcore workouts. I did it all, from Barry's Bootcamp to Orange Theory to Soul Cycle to Core Power Yoga. I would do marathon trainings. I would put my body through so much distress, and as a result, I actually was puffier because my body was so inflamed from all of that stress on my system. And not to mention, I was starving all the time. I had an insatiable appetite because my metabolism was so much on overdrive from working out that much every single day. And I could never be satisfied, let alone, I didn't like the way that I felt because my body was responding to all of that stress and pressure with inflammation. So today in my longevity journey, I walk, I wear an aura ring, I. I try to get 10,000 steps a day. It's tricky sometimes, depending on the weather because I live in Nashville where there's true seasons. And so we've had a pretty cold, rainy, gross, wet Snowy winter, so that doesn't always happen. But I try to move my body, not sit at my desk all day. I will move my computer from my kitchen to my dining room, back up to my office. Just move my body throughout my house if I can't walk. So walking is my cardio. I do Pilates, I do Pure Bar. I do Melissa Wood. I'm a big fan of melissa wood. She's 10 bucks a month. I'm big fan of not just her, but a lot of her instructors on that platform. And I weight train and I go to the gym and I try at least two days a week to lift heavy and those are the ways I move my body today. That's about it. And if I can, I'll catch like at a ecstatic dance party on the weekends, like once or twice a month. They have these amazing dance parties in Nashville. Dancing is the best cardio ever. And if I can't dance and I'm feeling the itch, I will just blast music in my office and dance my face out like a crazy person by myself just to move energy. These are the things that I really, really swear by. And of course I can go into my supplements and I can go into my peptides and I can go into, you know, the, the saunas and the cold plunges and all of that stuff that I, I absolutely incorporate. But I, I didn't want that this episode to be about. Here's what you need to go spend money on. Here's what you need to add into your apothecary at your house or hire a personal trainer or a fitness coach to hack longevity. I believe longevity is simple. It's the basics. It's really getting good food, getting good water, moving your body gently listening to your body. Tracking your menstrual cycle as a woman is an unlock to really attune to what your body needs. And it changes every single week, every single day of your cycle. Of course, sleep has become a huge part of my wellness routine. I am really psychotic about sleep. I get at least seven and a half to nine hours of sleep every day. And I recognize I don't have kids, but for a long time I had like 35 kids. They were called my employees. And a big business and a lot of stress. And I still have a big business and I still deal with stress, but my sleep is my religion. I will do everything in my power to turn it all off. Devices, tech stimulation by 9, 9:30. I know that's probably even late in a perfect case, but that's what Works for me. I've gotten really into reading fiction this year. I used to read all of these business books and spiritual books that stimulated my brain and made me want to take notes and go build a new product. Like at 11 o'clock at night. Now I read fiction. I wake up, I have a really powerful morning practice. I. I literally just don't do anything for the first 30 minutes of my morning and drink my coffee, listen to the birds, snuggle with my dogs, journal. Then I'll go move my body, whether that's a pure Bar class or a Melissa would workout or a walk. And then I make my smoothie and I get my day started and I shower and I'll listen to podcasts. It's. It's very simple. But I am not one of those people that springs out of bed and has a ton of energy. I'm pretty out of it for the first like half hour to hour of consciousness and I just need that time for me. And I really wanted to unpack this today. Not just because I know, you know, we're all curious about what we all do to optimize our wellness and feel really good in our physical bodies, but to really understand the importance of longevity as a spiritual practice and responsibility. And I'll leave you with this final quote from the book, the Light Work. Because there's a lot I. I say about this. I go into depth on my regimen and my story and my body dysmorphia and my autoimmune disorder and my beliefs around the matrix when it comes to the healthcare and pharmaceutical and food industries. I can go off on that, but I won't hear. You should go read the book. But this is really how I wanted to leave this episode, which is how I end the chapter. So I will just read this to you right now. Imagine waking up tomorrow and being completely free from the spell. Imagine walking through life fully awake to the self generating healing power, the gift and the joy it is to be in your physical body. Imagine feeling fully safe to move your body, express your body and be in your body however you want to. Imagine your body as your best friend. There is no one that either of you listen to. Trust, honor, cherish, worship, respect and love more than each other. Imagine using your body to emanate and inspire more love, acceptance and freedom to all the other bodies around you simply by being in your frequency. This is the body of a lightworker. I am so excited that I got to break some of this down today. The last thing I will say, and I really want to leave you with because we can talk about the workouts and we can talk about the water, and we can even talk about tracking our cycle and parasites and all of those things really do. Power, vitality, that and so much more. But I really think that the biggest unlock, the biggest key to longevity is joy, is to really love the life, to be grateful for the life, to honor the life that you get to walk through in your body every day. And that's a practice. I say this a lot throughout my book. Joy is your job. And that's a key word, job. Because joy is different than happiness. Happiness is a fleeting emotion. Joy is a commitment to yourself. Joy is a choice. Joy is a daily devotion. And it's funny when people do say, hey, you're 43, you look like you're 32. As I mentioned earlier, with, with much humility and gratitude, I, I don't say, well, it's because I have really great skincare or I drink a lot of water, or I work out differently today than I did 10 years ago. I don't say any of that because I'll get the question, what is your secret? What are you doing? And I, I always respond with, I live my life with a lot of joy. That's my secret. So I hope today you unlocked a few new secrets of your own and that we all link arms together here on this journey as lightworker women, remembering that taking care of our bodies and feeling beautiful isn't vanity. It's actually our responsibility so that we can live long, vibrant lives and change the world. Because it's going to take some time. Doesn't happen overnight, let alone in a generation. And so that's the work I'm up to in my own light. Work. And I gotta be healthy to, to do my job. And so do you. All right, sister. I love you all so much and have a beautiful rest of your week. And I will see you on the next episode episode of the spiritual Hustler podcast. Bye, guys.
