To receive this shift isn't going to only heal your life to make you a whole lot richer too. This is the Spiritual Hustler podcast. Well, hello my beautiful spiritual hustlers and welcome back to another installment of the Unlocking series. Do you guys know that I have a key tattooed on my heart? Everyone's always like, what is that? I'm like, looks kind of like a, I don't know, flower. It actually has a the seed of life flower at the top. But if you keep going, it's. It's a whole key. If you keep going. Depends on how low cut of a shirt I I wear, but I really love the metaphor of keys. I've got a key on the COVID of my newest book, the Lightwork. I am really into the archetype of the priestess. She is the keeper of the keys. The idea of the key is to unlock the divinity in you. Like when we really know that we hold the key to end our own suffering, to find our own power, to step into our own abundance, to create the life of our desired dreams. We become magnetic, unstoppable, empowered feminine leaders of this new earth. And that's what I'm up to. So with all of that being said, let's talk today about Instagram. Honestly, I have so much to say about Instagram and I wanted to bring this into the Unlocking series here on the Spiritual Hustler podcast where we talk about business and the spiritual, we combine them all in the name of the divine feminine. And at the end of the day, you guys, if you've been with me for a minute, you know that we go deep here, okay? We're not having like fluffy TikTok pop culture Y meme driven conversations. We're having esoteric, intellectual, heart centered conversation. That's the only conversation I know how to have. Okay, you guys, I cannot do small, cheap talk. It makes me nauseous. I literally have an aversion to small talk. I can only go deep. It's like, I guess an Achilles heel. That said, so many of us are up against this thing called Instagram to cut through, to grow our businesses, to connect with our right community and it just seems to get, I don't want to say harder and harder because I believe words are ones and it's all a consciousness and it's a projection field. And if you want to make Instagram hard and heavy and annoying and competitive and comparisonitis driven, like that's what it's going to be for you. I really love Instagram. I find it to be amazing, amazing platform for me to reach the women that I love who are into the same kinds of things that I'm into that want to have the conversation. And we're having here. And the crux of the matter is that it, it's evolving, okay? The Instagram algorithm experience, it's just not what it once was and it seems to actually have accelerated in 2025. It just feels like a different world than it did even like six months ago. Let me know if you agree with me. Send me a dm. Let me know if this is resonating because I spend a lot of time on Instagram, hence why I wanted to have this conversation. So I want to take you back actually to a huge unlock that I had A couple weeks ago. I was at a dinner. I got invited by this amazing woman who was flying into Nashville and reached out to a whole bunch of local sort of online entrepreneurs that are based here for dinner. And this was a powerhouse table, you guys, okay? There were some really phenomenal, hugely successful people at this table. Women you would know, like some of the biggest names in the game, okay. And a whole bunch of, you know, other people that were all doing their own very successful businesses, but all in the name of online entrepreneurship. We came together at this beautiful dinner to learn from each other, to have a facilitated guided conversation that ended up being so nourishing and so vulnerable and, and emotional. It was beautiful. It was a beautiful dinner. But that's not my point. The point is, at one point, one of the women at the table, cuz Instagram of course came up, she said to the entire table, there were like 12 of us, she said, I want everyone to go around the table and I Want you to share how you use the platform as a consumer, not as a creator, but as a consumer. What is your Instagram content consumption behavior? And I actually think I went first. I was like, I'll tell you exactly what my behavior is. It is scrolling through my Explore page, which is all pretty much Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs and staff Staffordshire Terriers, which is my new dog, and Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni and spiritual memes, stupid about like astrology that I'm sharing with my girlfriends. Like I'm sharing content in the DMS that is entertaining, that is silly and funny at times salacious and super woo. And it's quick and dirty DMS to my husband, usually about the dogs and my girlfriends, about everything else. Like I am using it as a platform to keep up to date with dumb shit with my friends, basically. And then the table went around and everyone said, me too. That's exactly how I use Instagram. And we were a bunch of people at this table, mainly women, one guy who are all using Instagram to grow our communities, our personal brands, our businesses, our revenue, our authority, our thought leadership, market and promote our offers, drive our business as experts in our spaces. And this was a huge unlock for me. And at one point in the dinner, after everyone had gone around and sort of shared their experience as a content creator versus a content consumer, I made that flippant comment. I wasn't even trying to be funny and I just said, well, the level of consciousness on Instagram is at an all time lowest. And everyone laughs because it's sad, but it's true. I actually think the consciousness of like, our country when it comes to like the media at large is really low. We can't bring in, like, back to the earlier part of this podcast when I was saying we have intellectual conversations on this podcast. We have deep, deep conversations here. This is why I love a podcast. But we can't expect to go in at like a master's level, bachelor's level, you know, 101, 201, college level, into like what feels like a fifth grade consciousness level on Instagram and expect for people to connect with us. And it sort of sucks. And it's also, I think, a really phenomenal challenge for us to meet the moment and invite new people into our world. Playing the game of Instagram, which is hooky, sticky, shareable content. That's it. Ask yourself, every single time you post something on Instagram, would someone share this with their friends in a DM to either make them laugh or illuminate them about something Quick and dirty when it comes to said topic, business, working out, spirituality, building a house, raising a dog, moving cities, whatever it might be. But quick, dirty, sticky, shareable and, and obviously the magic sauce, the, the true, like lightning in a bottle is if you can really make that particular post or series of posts super on brand to you as much as it is placating to the algorithm. Right. And when we can start to really hone that, when we build our audience, we get more people into our world that are coming. Yes, because they found us in a shared reel or, you know, something popped off and then they're like, oh, I like this girl. I get this girl's vibe. Because you're being yourself and leading with your brand. It's, it's really nuanced and it's an experiment and it's at times annoying. But I think that if we can really look at Instagram as our shallow, for lack of a better word, like not super three dimensional, but like two dimensional knock, like, hi, I get you, I'm on your same wavelength and I'm going to prove that to you in six seconds or less with a fun trending song and a cool text on screen and a compelling caption, which by the way, people read less and less, which is annoying. That takes you a little bit deeper. We're gonna maybe be friends here and we gotta keep consistent and experimenting and playing and unlocking the algorithm, knowing what we're dealing with. Now, I wanted to talk about this because while Instagram can feel overwhelming from a business perspective and pretty low vibe when it comes to like spirituality and, and consciousness, as I was saying, because here on the Spiritual Hustler podcast, we talk about the business and the spiritual and here we are talking about Instagram. I really feel like it is such an amazing portal into opportunity for connection, for growth, for real relationships that manifest offline. I mean, most of my community, my sisterhood, my retreats, my masterminds, my feminine frequency, business school, my network, it all came from social media. And I feel like I ride with the most epic, down to earth, authentic, beautiful souls in the world. And I do. To all of you guys, truly, hi. I love you. Thank you for being here. I mean it. You have really proven to me the power of my social media platform and the power of community. And when it really comes down to our end goal, like what are we really trying to do? Are we trying to make a real go viral? No. Are we trying to hack an algorithm? No. We're trying to connect with the people who need us, who we need so that we can all link arms and fucking ride together and change the world. So I wanted to come on today, in this unlocking episode to talk about this, because what we're talking about when it comes to Instagram is so much bigger than Instagram and yet all of us use it and it's such a big thing in our lives regardless. And that dinner just unlocked a whole new perspective for me. And instead of getting mad and being annoyed that the consciousness level has gone down so dramatically and I've gotta figure out how to fit my big esoteric brain and heart into a tiny little vertical box, it made me feel empowered. Like, okay, you know, we are going forward and we are going backward. I think we're going forward in sort of this new technologically AI super hyper, fast paced reality. And we're also coming home to what once was, which is the matriarchy, the new Earth, a harmonization of masculine feminine energies. Like, it's all happening at the same time. And in order for us to truly build a more beautiful world that is safe and filled with love and oneness and abundance and peace for all, that's what I'm orienting to every day in my work. We get to leverage what's working for the masses. You get what I'm saying? So I'm super glad that you came through on this episode today. Cause you probably saw it and you're like, ooh, Instagram algorithm sticky. Let's talk about how I make better reels and go viral. And while I did give a couple quick tips on that today, we're talking about something so much more important than that. And I know you felt me. So come on and say hi. Let me know you felt me.
