This is the Spiritual Hustler podcast. Well, hello and welcome back to the show my beautiful spiritual hustlers. Welcome to another installment of the Unlocking here on the podcast. And I, I'm really excited to talk about this. I have been wanting to talk about this for a really long time and honestly I didn't feel like I could come on and teach it in so many ways. I was a student, a very longing, deeply yearning, frustrated student to tapping into my true rhythm and true nature as a feminine body. Because most of my life and most of my career I was, I was working the quintessential 9 to 5 grind. Even though I started my own business and was an entrepreneur from a very early age. We live in a Gregorian calendar, you know, 9 to 5, Monday through Friday, 24 7, Q1 to Q2 to Q3 to Q4, H1 to H2. All of these things I learned in business. And you know, whether you work for a corporate company or you work for yourself, all of us are really driven by this man made calendar. And while it definitely serves us to have structure and mark goals and strategies against this man made time that allows us to track our progress and see how far we've come, it's kind of made up. It's not real. What's real is the nature of time and time being a part of nature. And when I started to really explore the pagan calendar and understand the cycles of the moon, new moon, full moon that happen every 30 days, the obviously astrological events and, and connecting my body to this higher frequency, this web of intelligence that is rooted In Mother Earth and the cosmos. It's really when not only did I start to heal my burnout, my nervous system regulated, my period became regular, I got better sleep. All of those things, of course, are beautiful and so foundational to our, our well being on this planet. My business started to thrive. My career as a CEO of a business began to feel how I'd always wanted it to feel. That's why I was saying at the top. I was like a frustrated student of wishing that I had enough time, the irony to slow down and make space to honor the moon and the winter solstice and the spring equinox and Beltane and Imbolc. And I would always just tell myself, well, life's just getting in the way. My schedule is too busy. And for me to get all the materials together to honor the thing the way that I'm supposed to honor the thing, so that I feel like I'm practicing quote, unquote, spirituality, when in fact I was just so disconnected from nature that that's all I needed to do, was just tune in to the seasons and to unplug from the Gregorian made up projected idea of how we're supposed to run our lives according to a construct. So depending on when you're listening to this podcast, I wanna actually take us through, you know, I pretty sure you're familiar with new moon, full moon rituals, but it's really the pagan calendar that I found so much here, healing within. Because when we're, you know, New Year, new, you hashtag hullabaloo. And I don't ascribe to any of it, I really don't. It doesn't resonate with me, the first of the year being the restart, because it's not. We celebrated the winter solstice on December 21, otherwise known as Yule in the pagan calendar. And this is basically the day of the least amount of sun. It's like the shortest day and the darkest day. And essentially it's the turning of the dark into the light. And we're still meant to winter, we're still meant to yoke our healing, our dreams, our bodies to rest and nest in this sort of dark, wintry frequency all the way essentially through the spring. And yes, we have the spring equinox, otherwise known as Ostara, which happens on March 21, but in the in between, we have in bulk, which is the heralding of the goddess of Brigid, who is a Celtic goddess of poetry and fire. And it is essentially the halfway point, of course, between winter and spring, where we start to feel Those first signs of light and energy, and the hearth starting to crackle. And it's a really potent part of the cycle, the wheel of life, which the pagan calendar celebrates to connect with. When we're thinking about our lives in this feminine rhythm, it's not meant to be so on demand. We're really intended to play what I call the eternal game and look at our lives not so in the micro, but in the macro. And the pagan calendar helps us to do that. Following the spring equinox, we have Beltane, which is May Day, and It happens on May 1, which is a celebration of fertility that welcomes the height of spring and celebrates the divine, feminine, and masculine coming together. It's usually celebrated with, you know, women wearing wreaths and crowns and the lighting of bonfires. And it's really when all of that ripe fertility that we're feeling in the spring kind of comes online and is filled with more fire. And then we have the summer solstice next month in June, June 21, which really marks the day when the sun is at its most maximum power. And it's the longest day of the year versus the winter solstice, which is the shortest day. And this is really a day that honors the abundance of the sun, the light of the sun, and all of the fruit that we get to sink our juicy teeth into, proverbially speaking, in the summertime. And I find the summer solstice to be the most amazing day to really set intentions for what I want to create, what I want to expand into what is really being brought into the light. Right. Versus the winter solstice, which is really unpacking what's been perhaps buried in the dark that needs our love and attention and healing and more light. We round the year in August in the pagan traditions with lamas, which commemorates the harvest of grains primarily for bread making. This is a day that's inspired after a Celtic deity, lug. And it's the Cross Quarter festival, if you will, which marks the halfway point between summer and fall. And it's really a day to get give thanks for the harvest, the bounty of your life, and to also look back, because it's technically, basically halfway through the year to look back and reflect and honor what you've created and where you're going. And then we have, of course, the fall Equinox on September 21, which marks the transition to the approaching darkness of the coming winter months. It is a time for honoring the change of the light. It is the time to really honor the cycle of birth and growth and maturity and decay and death and rebirth. And it's a day to really honor all of your blessings that have come with the abundance and the harvesting of summer and the early, early fall as you transition into winter. And then, of course, you have Shamain or Saman, however you want to say it, which is the All Hallows Day, also known as Halloween. But it is a day to really honor our ancestors. And then we make our way back to Yule. And that happens on October 31, the same day as Halloween. And that brings us full circle, full cycle into the winter solstice again on December 21st. And I share this, whether you subscribe to the Pagan Wheel of Life, if you've never heard of it, you know, I dabbled with it for so many years and thought that I had to do all of the things. Like, there are so many rituals and traditions and offerings that are made and done on each one of these holidays, and I would sort of feel like. Like a spiritual failure like that. I never got around to doing it because I was, like, on an airplane, right, or in the middle of a workshop or a meeting or firing somebody, like, for real. And I've realized that I don't have to necessarily do all the things, quote, unquote, to tap into my feminine nature. It's simply becoming conscious of nature. Because if all things are nature, which is true, that includes you, your body, your business, your life. And it requires you becoming more conscious of the Matrix and unhooking little by little and checking in little by little with what feels true to you. Did January 1st and all of the New Year's resolutions and, you know, packing it in to set all the goals and resolutions by the end of Christmas break feel gentle to you? Maybe it did. Only you know the answer. But as we start to connect with the seasonal rhythms of this great, beautiful planet called Gaia, we come home to ourselves. We come home to our true nature. We come home to our great mother. And our lives begin to feel so, so different. And I only speak from experience because my life has been drastically unhooked from the Matrix. And I thought it would be terrifying. And I thought I would lose money and I thought I would not succeed and miss out and become irrelevant. And I committed to Gaia. This was right after I came home from Egypt in 2023. And since returning to this true nature in my life, there has only been more authenticity and healing and expansion. And I want that for you. I offer this episode to give you the crash course on finding your feminine nature. And I hoping that this episode was a key. All right, my beautiful friends, I will see you on the next episode of the Spiritual Hospital podcast. Bye, guys.
