The following podcast is a Dear Media Production. What a great note to end this podcast.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I thought it was gonna be an inspirational look.
Laura
Like, I have anxiety, so. I love the Squeeze. I love being here.
Jacqueline
I know we do.
Laura
We both poured our souls out in these green chairs.
Jacqueline
I think I need you to open up and trauma dump on me within five minutes or we're not gonna vibe.
Laura
I'm such a confessor. We were here before.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
We.
Laura
Yeah, we don't gatekeep anything. No.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Can't do it in this household.
Jacqueline
Am I gonna cry today?
Laura
Could you imagine if.
Jacqueline
Oh, like, I just gave myself the ick.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
What are top three products that you can't live without?
Jacqueline
Holy crap.
Laura
A test run before you drop the dough.
Jacqueline
100%. I don't wear sunscreen.
Laura
I knew you were gonna say that, you Floridian.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
We can cut this question out if you want it.
Laura
Cut the show. They burned my skin off, and I was like, this works.
Jacqueline
Oh, it works.
Laura
Though you do know, Arne, my name's
Jacqueline
been in way too many people's mouths. My daddy issues are gonna blow through the room. You're activating me. I have something to admit.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Hello, Lemon Drops. Welcome back to another episode of the Squeeze. I am here with my two dear friends who are no strangers to this podcast and people that I trust with my life. Ms. Jacqueline and Ms. Laura.
Jacqueline
Hi, guys.
Laura
The girls are in the house.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
The girls are here. And I was just feeling like. I feel like we really needed to just do, like, a girl chat. Like, I feel like I've seen both of you guys posting about it, and
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I feel like I've been getting a
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
lot of questions of people. I don't know if it's just because we're kind of, like, still in the new year. People, like, wanting to make life adjustments or just trying to figure out who they are and what's going on.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
And I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity. Opportunity for us to get together and chat.
Jacqueline
I'm so happy to be here. Seriously, I was looking so forward to this when you sent me a voice note, like, a week ago, and you were like, you can totally turn this down. I love how you always preface it before, like, she invites you to do anything. She's always, like, absolutely zero pressure. Like, 100,000%, no pressure, total. You can turn this down. Like, you can take me in the face. I won't even care. But would you would be interested in a girl chat? I was like, I am so into this. This is, like, my favorite type of podcast to personally listen to, too.
Laura
Yeah, Yeah.
Jacqueline
I love just, like, real raw girls talking about things that girls go through. Like, I'm happy to be here.
Laura
Girl chat. I love that you had all three of us, too, because I feel like we've all lived a lot of life, but also different lives. So it comes from a lot of perspective for all of us to give advice. Also, I love the squeeze. I love being here. We both poured our souls out in these green chairs. I know.
Jacqueline
I thought about it today when I was getting ready. I was like, am I going to cry today? I left.
Laura
Listen. A mess. A mess.
Jacqueline
They.
Laura
They'll get you, gal. They'll.
Jacqueline
You sure will.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
We know how to get you.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I love.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Oh, Remy just dropped her ball outside. I just sort of flopped. Okay, let's start with the citrus. Scott, real question, because why not?
Jacqueline
Oh, I forgot about this.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Let's do it.
Jacqueline
Oh, wait, here. I thought we all had one. No, it's just one. Why am I grabbing it? I'll do it.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I would. I would have all of us, but as you can see, there's only a couple left in there, so.
Jacqueline
That's right. So we ask one question, and everybody answers.
Laura
Okay.
Jacqueline
No, I want one better than that. For us girls, we. We need something better than that.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Okay.
Jacqueline
Okay. Oh, if you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Singing.
Laura
Oh, that's a good one.
Jacqueline
I was gonna say acting.
Laura
That's really good. Mine would be playing an instrument, which I will do before I die. Unless I die soon. You never know. But it's been always been one of my goals.
Jacqueline
I know.
Laura
I'm like, I will die, and it could be soon. Jacqueline's like, enough. I'm like.
Jacqueline
I knew I was gon. Jacqueline, I'm dead. No, you're not.
Laura
You're very much alive.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I'm alive.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I'm alive.
Laura
I'm well, well, well. I just want to play an instrument.
Jacqueline
I love that.
Laura
Okay. I'm between guitar, piano, or violin. So if you're musically talented, someone tell me which one's the easiest, and I will start there.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I don't think violin's the easiest.
Jacqueline
I was gonna say piano.
Laura
I want it to be violin.
Jacqueline
I was gonna say piano. I. I played piano growing up for, like, three years. I took piano lessons. I just.
Laura
I.
Jacqueline
You. I don't think guitar and violin is very easy. Personally, I think you could really, really sl. You could just, like, guitar is, like, a lot.
Laura
I just. It's, like, on my bucket list. Like, getting into fitness was like, before I die, I was always like, I'll do it. And now. And instrument has always been on the list. I could be 40 before I start. I could be 50. But I will play something before I die.
Jacqueline
I had no idea that that was a thing.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
No clue.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's good.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I have been thinking about that.
Jacqueline
And you want to sing?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I've been asking Taylor for singing lessons.
Laura
I would never shut up if I could sing.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Oh, I would be so annoying, insufferable. I already am, but I. Oh, I would be.
Jacqueline
Ye. Yeah.
Laura
Could you imagine if we could sing? Oh, it would be over.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
It would be over.
Jacqueline
I wish I could act so bad. And I think it's because I've been like, I'm always watching TV shows and movies, but, like, we've watched so many deep TV shows and movies recently. And I'm like, whoa. As I'm watching it, I'm like, that would be so crazy to be able to embody a character like this.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like, so intense. Screaming and crying. Or like, when you have to act out, like, someone dying in your arms.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like, imagine trying to act that out.
Laura
I said the whole world, like, sees it.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
So, like, that is exactly. And if you think you should can act and it's easy. Try it.
Jacqueline
Try it. Like, I just gave myself the ick at me, like, imagining myself. I'm getting hot. No. Goodbye.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No, we can't.
Laura
That's a good one, though.
Jacqueline
Would love to.
Laura
I loved all three of ours. I think they are all such great, amazing talents that we don't have.
Jacqueline
I love my untalented friend.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
That's why we get along. That's how we get along so well.
Laura
It's hilarious.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Just untalented people.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
So we asked our audiences. I'm sure you guys saw our Instagrams. We put some stuff up to get some questions. We wanted to get some real, real questions that you guys are struggling with in life, things you need advice on. And we honestly got, like, such a big range of questions.
Jacqueline
We did.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And, yeah, I think we should just get into it.
Jacqueline
Okay, great.
Laura
Who's going to you start, Jacqueline? I feel like you got some really good ones.
Jacqueline
You want me to start?
Laura
I want you to start. I know. Back to the screenshot. Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Jaclyn H. Made you do the subscribe and whatever.
Jacqueline
Okay. Welcome back to my channel. Please subscribe. Okay, wait, so I'm just gonna, like, literally, first of all, I will just say I. I put on my stories that we're gonna be doing this, and I have thousands of responses, but for the most part, it's kind of interesting because there is, like, certain topics where so many people were interested and they asked similar questions around the same topic. So many.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Great.
Jacqueline
I'm going to start because it can get heavy. It can get, like, deep with some of these topics. I'm going to start super light because it's kind of fun.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
So it says, I want some big sis advice. What are some things that we should splurge on versus things to save your money on and just buy the dupes?
Laura
I love that.
Jacqueline
I love it too.
Laura
That's a good question, but I don't
Jacqueline
want to answer first.
Laura
Okay.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Oh, I was going to say you're good at that, though.
Jacqueline
So save the best for last.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I'm getting.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I'm. I'm. I'm bad at that. I guess the only thing I really like, splurge on is jeans.
Laura
See? Yes. I. I always say splurge on the basics and trendy items, colorful items, items you're not wearing regularly. Do not splurge on. But your basics, like a good pair of loafers, a good pair of boots, a good pair of running shoes or shoes. Sneakers.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
Make that a little nicer. And then all the little in between trends and rings. And don't splurge on that. Get a good black bag that you're going to carry every day.
Jacqueline
I think for me, it's always about, like, figuring out what it is that you genuinely use the most. Me personally, it's jackets.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
I have never regretted spending a lot of money on a nice jacket. Like a good leather jacket.
Laura
You wear a coat.
Jacqueline
So for instance, I bought like three really nice designer jackets back in 2016, and I was a certain weight then. I gained like 60 pounds. Then I lost that weight. This last winter, I've been able to wear those three jackets again. And I wore them all winter long. And they're officially, what, nine years old?
Laura
Yeah. Yeah.
Jacqueline
But like, they weren't trendy pieces. They were like forever type coats. And I wore them all winter because I fit in them again.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And I'm like, oh, this? And it made me think about it. I'm like, this is not a waste of money. I've been wearing the same leather jacket since 2015.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
That's like, it still held up. And I'm like, that's worth your money.
Laura
Yep, that's worth your money.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
You can even, like, buy the dupe of something that you're interested in and see if you're actually, like, gonna wear it. Like, even. Especially, like jewelry too. Like.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I think you want Like a chunky ring or, like, earrings, but then, like, you wear it and you're like, oh,
Laura
actually a test run before you drop the dough.
Jacqueline
100. I also think that, like, bags are not necessary, even though, you know, I love my handbags so much.
Laura
Yeah, yeah.
Jacqueline
It's not. It's really not. Like, I think owning one nice handbag,
Laura
a black tea bag, you're gonna carry
Jacqueline
every day, use the absolute, absolute crap out of it. I think that's all that's necessary, genuinely.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But that's just me.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's good.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I. I brought some beauty questions down this for myself because I just like to ask you guys makeup questions 24 7. What are. I guess it's gonna be beauty and like, skincare wellness. What are top three products that you can't live without?
Jacqueline
Holy crap.
Laura
Are.
Jacqueline
What are you thinking, Laura?
Laura
I know my NARS soft matte complete concealer just because, like, even if I'm not wearing makeup, I'll do a dot, you know, so I know that's like a go to for me.
Jacqueline
That's in my top whatever number. Like, I can't. I use that almost every day in my life, even when I'm not doing makeup.
Laura
Right, Exactly. So it's like, it's got to be with my fingers, just.
Jacqueline
Yep.
Laura
A smudge, a smidge. So NARS soft matte complete concealer.
Jacqueline
It's the one pote.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Okay.
Jacqueline
Every single. I know where this is going.
Laura
What else is something that you would just, like, could not do your makeup without?
Jacqueline
Oh, see, my mind goes to skincare before makeup.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
What is like, I was actually thinking about this as I got ready today. What is the skin prep that you guys do before you put makeup on?
Laura
Oh, do you know what's weird is that I use those medical cube pore pads before I put my makeup on because I feel like they put like, a barrier of, like, anti acne on my face. I got that before I pack it on with powders and foundations, and then I'll put, like, moisturizers and sunscreens and all on top of that. But I always start with those pore pads.
Jacqueline
So you do the meta cube core package pore pads, and then you moisturize. Do you serums moisturize and all that?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
You do all that before you put makeup on?
Jacqueline
Yeah. Yes.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
The answer is yes. See, that's what I can't. I can't figure that out.
Jacqueline
I don't you lie, girl. Don't you make.
Laura
I said yes.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Okay, wait, but what's the. What's what's the order?
Laura
I would do, like, all of it before. Uhhuh. Cleanse, pore pad, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen, then primer. I skip primer most of the time.
Jacqueline
It depends how quickly I'm doing my makeup. If I'm doing my skincare, I'm jumping straight into my makeup. I don't use primer. I just use my skincare as my primer if I'm gonna do my skincare. Like this morning I woke up, I did my skincare, let my dogs out, I made my coffee, and like an hour later, I did my makeup. Now I'm priming.
Laura
Yep.
Jacqueline
Okay, that makes sense because I want the skin tacky. I want it, like, ready to grip.
Laura
I would say sunscreen, moisturizer. Non negotiables, though. So, like, if you were like, light baby glam, like, it's not that serious. Moisturizer, a little sunscreen, and then go in with your.
Jacqueline
I have something to admit. I don't wear sunscreen.
Laura
I knew you were gonna say that, you Floridian.
Jacqueline
I do not wear sunscreen. I only wear sunscreen if I'm going to be in the sun directly.
Laura
Totally, totally.
Jacqueline
I do not wear sunscreen.
Laura
I already have dark spots, though, so I'm. Girl, I'm spooked.
Jacqueline
I've gotten rid of almost all of them with skincare, though. Yeah, almost all of them.
Laura
Those brightening pill pads, Santas, Sanitas, Sanita, Jacqueline, put me on.
Jacqueline
That was the first product I thought of when we first started this conversation is my Sunita spraining peel pads. I've been talking about them for.
Laura
I think you have. So they burned my skin off. And I was like, this works.
Jacqueline
Oh, it works.
Laura
I was like, this is going to work. It's going to do some shit for me.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
It works.
Jacqueline
Anytime I run out of them for like a month or two, I'm like, why is my skin look so dull and shitty? And I'm like, oh, my God, it's the freaking pads. And I reorder them and my skin's back to life a week later.
Laura
They're pricey, but they're like dermatological grade worth it. Like you as soon as you put
Jacqueline
it on your cheek, you're like, yeah, yeah. I think that if I had to choose, like, my go to products, was that the question?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
That was the original one. And I
Jacqueline
would all be skincare, and then it would only be the nars pot concealer. Like, that's the only thing that I would use for makeup if I had to choose one Makeup product for the rest of my life. Because if you've got good glowy skin, all you need is a little concealer just to touch. And then, like, that's it. Brush your brows and like, that's what we're. That's what we're doing.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Okay. I need to.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I need that.
Jacqueline
I'm skincare obsessed right now.
Laura
Also, have you guys tried the Refy mascara?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No, girl.
Laura
And you know, I have busty. I have busted ass lashes. Your lashes will go crazy with this mascara. It has that weird. It's like a weird hook one.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yes.
Laura
And I was like, this is. Tried it. It's insane.
Jacqueline
Okay.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
My favorite is the ysl.
Laura
Yeah, I love that.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
You got that for me for my
Laura
birthday, and I love that one.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I just rebought it back.
Jacqueline
I'm gonna try the refy.
Laura
Get the refy. Try the refine. I want you guys to tell me what you think. I'm obsessed with it.
Jacqueline
Okay.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Do you.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Are those your real lashes?
Laura
I have two little falsies on the end. I'm gonna be honest. I'm like, no, they're mine.
Jacqueline
All mine.
Laura
They're mine.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
They look great, though, Even. Even if I'm not looking at them.
Laura
I got a lash lift.
Jacqueline
Oh, God. So good.
Laura
Such a confessor. I love it. We don't hear for.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
We don't. Yeah, we don't gatekeep anything. Can't do it in this household.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Lately, my life has felt like a constant juggling act. Between work, social plans, travel, trying to move my body and still show up for myself. There are so many days where my own health ends up taking a backseat. I'll look up and realize I've been running around all day, answering emails, hopping from one thing to the next, and haven't actually fueled myself in the way that feels good. And that's exactly where Premier protein comes in for me. On those busy days when I need something quick, convenient, and actually satisfying, Premier protein has become my go to. It's the kind of thing that I can grab without slowing down, but still feel good after choosing. Whether I'm heading out the door, need an afternoon boost, or just want something easy that fits into my routine. It makes fueling myself feel simple instead of stressful. And honestly, it tastes amazing. I always keep the vanilla on hand. It's my favorite flavor, and it makes it so easy to reach for something that I actually enjoy and look forward to having. What I also really appreciate is that Premier protein fits into real life. It's not just for intense gym sessions or hardcore Workout days is for everything you need fuel for with 30 grams of protein and tons of delicious flavors, Premier protein isn't just for those who get after fitness. It's for those who get after life. It's for squeezing in a walk, showing up to a meeting, feeling ready, saying yes to plans with friends, winning game night, or even mastering a new recipe
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
for a dinner party.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's why it feels like such an easy, smart choice. Find your favorite flavor@premierprotein.com that's P R E M I E R P R O t e I n.com or at Amazon, Walmart or other major retailers. If you've ever been consistent at the gym, showing up, doing the workouts, really trying and still feel like the results are moving at a snail's pace, it can be frustrating. That's usually the moment when people start questioning everything, and when you're not sure if your effort is actually paying off, it's hard to keep going. That's one of the biggest reasons that I love tonal. It actually shows you your progress in real time. It tracks your performance, adapts as you get stronger, and removes the constant guesswork that comes with traditional training. There's a reason tonal has a reputation as the ultimate strength training system. And let's be honest, when life gets busy, workouts are usually the first thing to go. And with Tonal, it's a lot easier to stay consistent because it's right there in your home whenever you need it. No commute. No convincing yourself to get ready to go to the gym. No waiting for machines. It's right in your home. Another thing that keeps people out of the gym is simply not knowing what to do or wondering if what you're doing is even effective. Tonal takes care of that completely. It builds your workouts for you, tracks your progress and adjusts automatically so you can focus on showing up and trusting the process. I've had my tonal for probably a little over a year now, and if you guys have not tried this machine out, it is truly one of the coolest things. It is like having a personal trainer ready at your fingertips 24 7. All you have to do is turn the machine on and there's a huge range of expert LED classes from strength training to arrow hit to yoga to mobility, so it never feels repetitive. And right now, Tonal is offering our listeners 200 off your tonal purchase with promo code squeeze that's tonal.com and use promo code squeeze for $200 off your purchase that's tonal.com promo code squeeze for $200 off.

It's 2026.

Why are we still pretending dry scratchy toilet paper is the best we can do? Like genuinely, would you wash your hands without water? Would you take a shower without water?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
So why are we acting like that's enough? That's why I made the switch to Good Wipes and I am never going back. These are flushable wet wipes made for adults and they make you feel actually clean. They're super soft and so much more comfortable than toilet paper alone. The way I describe it is this toilet paper is basic. Good wipes are a true clean. It's the difference between settling and feeling refreshed. It might sound a little extra, but once you try them, it makes total sense. It's one of those upgrades you don't realize you needed until you actually experience it. If you've tried wipes before and had
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
an irritation, I get it.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
And that's one of the reasons I like good wipes because they're made for sensitive skin, they're thoroughly tested and they don't leave you with the weird film or greasiness that some other wipes can. Also, can we talk about the size? They're extra large, like noticeably bigger than other wipes, which just makes everything easier and more effective. And they come in a bunch of different scents so you can pick whatever you like. But if you're a fragrance free person, they just launch a fragrance free option that's available exclusively at Walmart. I keep my good wipes stacked. This is a non negotiable in my home. I've made the switch and I am not going back. Grab Good wipes for free at Walmart so you can upgrade your restroom routine. Any one, two or three pack in Walmart or walmart.com text them your receipt and get reimbursed almost immediately. For more details, head to goodwipes.com squeeze again. That's goodwipes.com squeeze to snag a free pack of good wipes from Walmart.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Who is your. We can cut this question out if you want it. Who is your favorite beauty influencer besides yourselves and each other?
Laura
And each other. She said in each other. Mike Jack, like, it's Laura Lee.
Jacqueline
There's a gun to my head. I'm like, it's Laura. I swear to God. No, Laura wasn't here. I'd actually say Laura.
Laura
I was just telling her before the
Jacqueline
camera started rolling how much I'm enjoying her content. Because when you're friends with content creators, there's A difference between loving them and loving their content.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like, you go in ebbs and flows where it's like, I'll be like, oh, shit. I haven't seen so and so's content for a while because it's not really, like, piquing my interest, even though I love them so much as a person.
Laura
Right.
Jacqueline
But, like, your content's so good recently. It's like the perfect mixture of, like, relatable health and wellness.
Laura
Thank you.
Jacqueline
And then also, like, still the glam. It's good.
Laura
That's so sweet.
Jacqueline
You also throw in the lifestyle, the cleaning. I'm like, oh, God, give me the
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
vacuum I love and pull that thing out.
Laura
Do you know, I went to a dinner the other night and a girl I was leaving, she was like, never stop cleaning your kitchen.
Jacqueline
Yes. I love that. And I was like, that's so cool.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Thank you.
Laura
I felt very seen. And sometimes I'm like, what am I doing? I'm like, og and I'm scrubbing the bottom of my refrigerator online. But then I. That's what I'm doing that day. We're just going to love it. Thank you.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Content are both, like, organic to yourselves.
Laura
Thank you. I don't feel like you're, like, trying
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
to, like, do something or like, like, I feel like you're very both naturally yourselves with it.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
What do you think?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Why your content, like, does? Well, because people know that that's.
Laura
You know who I love outside of us?
Jacqueline
Tell me.
Laura
Shelby. Shelby Ann on Tick Tock. So I love Shelby.
Jacqueline
So real.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
And she's like a working artist.
Jacqueline
Her stuff. Tay's not, like, emerged in the beauty community.
Laura
Okay.
Jacqueline
You know, I just feel like I, like, so great. She's working makeup artist. She's in her young 20s.
Laura
She's still struggling base. Like, all filters. Yep. No filters. Almost all of her content is drugstore only.
Jacqueline
She's a doll.
Laura
Yeah. And she's like, I just love her. Hi, besties.
Jacqueline
I know. Hi, besties.
Laura
Jacqueline did a collab with her.
Jacqueline
I did. Yeah. We did a l' Oreal thing together.
Laura
Royal partnership.
Jacqueline
She was so much fun.
Laura
She almost painted. That's right. Right at the l' Oreal event when she met you. Like, Jacqueline's her icon.
Jacqueline
Yeah. I really, I. I love her. I really do. There's a lot of people that. I really enjoy their content, though.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But I'm the worst. A lot of people can't think of their names. Like, I am that person. I hate.
Laura
Well, there's 20,000. Yeah. But there's, like, so Many people that
Jacqueline
I follow and I love them, but I'm like, oh, crap.
Laura
But you know their face.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
Yeah, but you know their face.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
All that matters, I guess.
Jacqueline
There's so many now, it's crazy.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
On an ad that's really. As long as you recognize their face, then.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yep. So that matters.
Laura
You know our names. You do know our name's been in
Jacqueline
way too many people's mouths.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I actually have a marriage question for us. What has surprised you most about marriage?
Jacqueline
Oh, I have my answer.
Laura
Do it.
Jacqueline
How much fun it is.
Laura
Oh, I love that, Jack.
Jacqueline
I think that's my answer because it's my second marriage.
Laura
I can attest toy your marriage is fun, though. You guys have so much fun together.
Jacqueline
I have so much fun with him.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
My first marriage.
Laura
Happy.
Jacqueline
My first marriage was not fun.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And like, I say that with so much respect.
Laura
See a perspective.
Jacqueline
Yes. But my first marriage was not fun. My first marriage was just. I. I had so much love for him. It was a very deep relationship, very meaningful. But it was a lot of work. Like, it was a job. It was a 24 hour a day job. And so I think that's like the thing that has surprised me the most about my marriage to Jordan is like, now we've been together, it's about to be eight years, which is so crazy to me. I'm like, eight years.
Laura
It's crazy. Yeah.
Jacqueline
And we were actually just talking about this this weekend. I was saying how, like, I'm just so grateful that, like, we still have so much fun together. Like, we never feel the need to, like, include other couples in order to go do something. Like, we'll just be like, oh, let's go try this new place and we'll just go together and we'll have a blast. Like, just him and I. Yeah. And that. I did not think that that was
Laura
ever that so much. And I can. My favorite thing is we were coming to your house and then all of a sudden we just hear, although, what up? And he look at each other. We're like, where's Jordan? He cracks me the.
Jacqueline
Such a good time.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
He is.
Jacqueline
He's a really good time.
Laura
Always in a good mood, always wants to have fun. He's so good. What surprises me about marriage, you've been with Tyler forever.
Jacqueline
Like, forever and ever. So I'm dying to know what you're gonna say.
Laura
I don't know. I'm like, what could surprise, you know, whenever we took my niece at 14, seeing him in that role and how he, like, I was like, this Is us against the world. Like, I don't know. It was just, like, really nice to have a partner that was, like, not just willing to take in a child with me, but also, like, was like, without a shadow of a doubt, like, took over her schooling stuff, picking her up from school, like, such a dad role and taking care of her without a question asked. And, like, not that I never saw that in him, but I never see that for us or, like, expected that experience and make you want to have kids? Do what?
Jacqueline
Just make you want to have kids. I know that's what people would ask if they were watching.
Laura
No, no, no. I love it.
Jacqueline
Someone in the audience would be like, if you want to have children, let
Laura
me tell you something. I was talking about this earlier, so I'm glad you did say that, because I'm like, all my friends are having babies and everybody's getting pregnant because we're kind of near that age. And I'm like, you guys haven't raised a teenager yet. And it's really up because your love. You love them so much. So it's attached to them. So any decision they make, affect emotionally and, like, mentally, because, like, you got this little wild being out there in the world that's a young adult and it's attached your heart to. Is an extremely painful experience. And it's beautiful. But, like, the worry and, like, it's crazy.
Jacqueline
You're saying this because when I was hanging out with Cat last time, Cat Stickler, who everyone who's watching, I'm sure knows who she is.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
She has her daughter, mk. And I was like, okay. So, like, I was talking to her about how having children and, like, I definitely want to be a mom. Like, Jordan really wants to be a dad. Like, what's it like? And she said that. She said. She said someone said on the Internet one time that it's like having your heart be outside your body. And I was like, oh, damn. And we talked about that where it's like, your heart is just exposed.
Laura
You'll never know peace again.
Jacqueline
Like, and it's so.
Laura
Yeah, because you just want the best for them. You want them to be happy. You wanted to make all the right
Jacqueline
decisions, and then you see them making the bad ones. I mean, I can see that even with my nieces.
Laura
Aaron got her belly button pierced the other day.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I was gonna ask.
Laura
Pissed. I'm pissed. That's a scar. The tattoo pissed me off. I love you, and I'm all about, like, let's have fun and be silly and get, like, a cartilage maybe a nipple, whatever. But I'm like, belly button's gonna up your tummy, girl. Infected. Like, what are we doing? And I'm.
Jacqueline
Or a mom.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Listen, I immediately. When she posted that, I immediately went to the comment to see if you
Jacqueline
were in there,
Laura
period. So I text her. I'm like, erin, I'm not happy about this right now. And she's like, well, my friend was getting her nose pierced. I wrote back, smart, period. Sent it. And she's like, great, now we gotta
Jacqueline
have a whole conversation. Oh, yeah, that's rough.
Laura
I don't know. I'm cool with things. Like, I. I'm a cool aunt. I really am. I'm not, like, strict, and I'm like, you can't get a piercing. You can't. I'm not amazing. Thank you. I just feel like, make sure. Well, let's make sure our priorities are in order. That's my thing.
Jacqueline
Absolutely.
Laura
And I feel like sometimes piercings are her number one priority and everything is the back burner. So for me, I'm like, if you were doing other things and you got a piercing, I wouldn't be mad. But, like, I feel like piercing and, like, should I dye my hair? Pink sometimes comes first for her.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Well, I think that this is, like, the perfect segue. Not to take over your podcast, but this is. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Let it rip. That's like one of the number one topics that's all over in my DMs, is just the pressure of becoming a mom at our age and just children in general. Like, yeah, do you want children? Do you feel pressured to have children? Is your family pressuring you to have children? So I think, like, what you just said is like, the perfect segue into that. Yeah, I know. Like, I'm 30. Holy shit. How old am I? Oh, my God. I'm turning 36 this year.
Laura
I'm like a moment of silence.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I really hope I look like you're 36.
Laura
I know, I know.
Jacqueline
You are so sweet. Oh, my God. But, yeah, I'm turning 36 this year.
Laura
You are 37. I told a 23 year old my age. I had a dinner this week. And his reaction, I was like, thank you. But also, you're hurting my feelings because you're really shocked. I'm like, how old is it? I'm 37. And I told him. He was like, I had no idea.
Jacqueline
Yeah. What's crazy is that my nieces, Talia and Jada, when they were in town last time, something came up about our ages. And I was like, well, I'm 35. And. And Talia's doll literally hit the countertop and she was like, jacqueline, I've never really thought about how old you are. And I was like, oh, I'm gonna slap the piss out of you. I'm gonna slap the piss out of you.
Laura
You're like, how dare you?
Jacqueline
That's funny, I think, because, like, I'm still so young at heart, and we kiki together so much that, like, she had this moment where, like, oh, my God, like, she's 35, that's almost 40. That's ancient. And I'm like, oh, my God, I'm not a mom yet. I will say for me personally, I have felt the pressure this last year really, really strong. Like, like, in a negative way almost, because there's things that I still want to accomplish. Not in business, but just, like, personal and with me and Jordan, and I have just not felt ready.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And me and Jordan are definitely like that last couple, like the. My brother, my sister, like, they had kids long time ago. The youngest in the family now is now 15 years old. And it's like, Jacqueline, Jordan, like, come on, we want babies. And like, all of our friends feel the same way. All of our friends have kids that are, like, older, like, around, like, the 10 year old age. And they're like, we want a baby. When are we going to have a baby in the friend group? And it's like, oh, God, that's me. And like, I. I want kids so bad. I didn't think I did growing up, but, like, when I met Jordan, it was like, I've talked about this before. Like, I got into a fight with him literally, like, three months into our relationship. I don't know if it was that long because I was like, I want to have your babies. And he was like, let's calm down. And I was like, you're an asshole. Oh, like, immediate. I was like, I want to have something. I swear, it's like God put this, like, need in me to be like, oh, I'm going to have his children. But, like, now, eight years in, this is. I'm gonna say it. And this is a hot take. And this might get me in trouble. Live your best life, but I think.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I think you've got in trouble for worse, so you're fine.
Jacqueline
I have gotten in trouble for much worse.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
She starts rolling the clips.
Jacqueline
I knew you would do this to me. No, I was gonna say that, like, I. This is a hot take in from my personal experience. I Think that if you find a good partner and you wait too long, it just gets harder and harder to make the decision to just have the. The kids and start the family.
Laura
Can't confirm. Yeah, I can't confirm because we started
Jacqueline
to get settled in our life.
Laura
That's what happens.
Jacqueline
And life is so good. Yeah, it's so good with us.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like, it's so great. And I do know that children will just enrich that, and.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
But it's also just. It's a change, and it's like, why would you want to change?
Jacqueline
Yes, it's hard.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
It's good.
Jacqueline
It's hard. But I think that it. I think that it's time. Like, it is.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
My time is definitely knocking. It's here. But I'm like, this is hard.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah. I feel like what's nice is, like, we have a lot of friends, too. Like, I feel like. I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I'm finally in a place now where I have, like, you guys and a lot of my other friends aren't married. Like, we're all kind of, like, at that same place in life.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Which is nice, because I feel like for a while, everyone was kind of, like, just bouncing all over the place, and now everyone's kind of settled, and they have their partner, and they know where they're living, and they have their career kind of figured out. And I feel like. It feels like it now. It finally feels like, I don't know,
Jacqueline
like, the right time.
Laura
Yeah, it does, right?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I don't. Like, how do you make that decision to be like, okay, like, I'm gonna try now.
Jacqueline
I know. I think you just.
Laura
Like, I was gonna say, I think you have to rip the band aid. I mean, don't ask me to, but I do think that is what you have to do.
Jacqueline
She's like, for you guys. Yeah, definitely. But it does. It gets harder, and, like, the more. The more money you make, the more you save, the more you get comfortable with each other. And it's like, Saturdays are so great. You sleep in as late as you want. We stay in bed until noon if we want. We just lay in bed, drink coffee there, watch tv. And, like, I'm at that point where, like, I'll tell Jordan, like, hey, when we have a baby, this day will not exist.
Laura
A good reminder.
Jacqueline
This moment will not exist.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And Jordan's definitely team.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But it'd be so much better.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Yeah, you're right.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
It's true. Different, but better.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I feel Like, I had the opposite of what you had with Jordan. With Taylor, I always. Because I'm an only child, I always was like, I want to be, like, a wife, and I want to be a mom. That was, like, always my thing. And I don't have any cousins my age either. So, like, the closest is 10 years younger and 10 years older. So it was really, like, just me. And I'm just, like, very maternal. Like, I always just have been, like, a mom. The mom of the friend group, 100%.
Jacqueline
And you are so the mom of the friend group. So the mom, like, if everyone's, like, drinking wine, she's, like, passing out waters to everybody.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I know, I know. But I always wanted to. I always wanted to get, like, married young and be a mom. And it's been. It was really cool. When I started dating Taylor, I was like, oh, I'm actually, like, not in a rush to get married. And then we get married. I'm like, oh, I'm actually not in a rush to have kids. So I kind of had, like, obviously, I want to have Taylor's babies. Like, obviously, that's not a question. But I, like, had the opposite thing where that was something I really, really, really wanted for so long. And then I found the person. I'm like, okay, like, I'm actually, like, in love and, like, content and, like.
Jacqueline
And you can, like, breathe and wait for that moment to come. Yeah, that's really sweet.
Laura
I agree. But, like, to the question about, like, pressure and how to know when and deal with pressure, I feel like people do put so much pressure on women to have kids, and they also make it like, that's your point on this earth, like, you have no other purpose. You're just a reproduction machine. And I completely disagree with that. So I think, like, you're a great example. You are as well, a maternal instinct. Like, I want this. I kind of know I've always wanted to do this. Like, listen to yourself. Even if you're like, I know I'm not meant for this. And, like, I don't want this. Listen to yourself. Worse. So societal. Like, we like to attach ourselves to what everybody else is doing because it puts the pressure on us. You know, we see everybody having babies. We're like, like, I gotta do. I gotta do. I gotta do it. And so we're technically living by what other people are doing, not like, what our voice is telling us and what we think is right for our life. So just listen to you. It's between you and your partner. You know what I mean? Not between your mom and dad. Not between your best friend group. Not between. Even if everybody's getting. It's like listening to that internal voice. And maybe you want to be a young mom and maybe that's. That's great. I think that's beautiful. It's just like such an individual.
Jacqueline
I agree.
Laura
Experience. And you should listen to like what your intuition is speaking to you.
Jacqueline
I also think that putting pressure on a woman to have a child is actually the craziest thing that you could pressure anyone to do.
Laura
Agree.
Jacqueline
Like I'd rather be pressured to run a marathon tomorrow with no training than to have a child. Like what it's going to do to my body physically. And now that's my responsibility for the rest of my entire life until the day I die. I now have a human being.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Right. It's like that's like, that's so crazy to me that we like pressure women in the first place to start a family.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like that is such a selfless job.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
That it's like.
Laura
I just feel like it's crazy. Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And also like there's just so many factors of it. You know, having fertility issues and there's just. There's just so many.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Obstacles.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
So true.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
With it that even, you know, time. I'm not gonna say most of the time, but I think at the think study said like a third of the time it's the men's fault.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And there's just.
Laura
There's also like parents put so much pressure on their kids for grandkids.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
And they're like your value and worth. Doesn't that wouldn't feel like my value and worth matters to my parents if all they wanted out of me is reproduction for their grandkids. What about them? You know, like they're here for more. So like I feel like that pressure gets put on people too. And it sucks. So I think it's like an individual journey and like really being strong enough to listen to your voice instead of doing what the people around you are doing.
Jacqueline
Yes.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
That's.
Jacqueline
Amen to that.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I have a follow up question, but I was thinking about this earlier.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
My dad.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I have a really sweet relationship with my dad and we talk all the time. I'm sorry. I know.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Sorry.
Jacqueline
Apologize in every room.
Laura
Because there's so many girls are like my dad, Aunt Jacqueline.
Jacqueline
Oh.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
My dad is like the friend group Dad. I was FaceTiming one of my girlfriends whose dad passed away last year and I was talking with her and she was like, I can't wait for Matt to like be a part of this. And he's just like the friend group dad, but I love him.
Jacqueline
Love you, dad.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
But anyways, I was talking with him and he, he. I always tease my parents that they're putting pressure on me, but they. Because I'm the only one, they're so excited for me to have kids. And I know I don't actually feel pressure from them. I know that they're just like really excited.
Jacqueline
Right.
Laura
Well, they probably know you want kids too, so that's different. That's different. Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No, there's no, like real. It's more just like joking. Yeah, joking, but serious. But anyways, my dad randomly.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I don't remember what we were talking
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
about, but it was really sweet because he started telling me about how when he was, let's see, my parents had me. I think they were like 25. When he was like around 24ish. He was kind of feeling like he was like searching for his purpose. Like he didn't really know. Like he just felt like something was missing.
Jacqueline
Can you end this by saying you are his purpose? I'm gonna walk out of here. My daddy issues are gonna blow through the room. You're activating me.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
It was just so sweet to hear that he was like becoming a dad, like, actually gave me purpose in life. Like, it was so. It was honestly motivating for me to hear.
Jacqueline
Oh my God, that is like the sweetest. Like, I want to give him the biggest.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
He's so sweet. But now, because, like, now that I've become such a career driven woman that I never thought I would be, it was really nice to hear that because I know, like, I know a lot of us can relate to this. This like, searching for like that neck, like, like looking for the next step. Like I'll achieve this one goal in my career.
Laura
Yes.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And then it just like keeps going and it's like, when will it ever be enough? Maybe that's what I was talking to him about. And that just like kind of gave me like hope that I'm like, okay, like my career. Yes, that's so important to me. But there's also going to be this thing one day in my life that's also gonna like, fulfill me.
Laura
Yeah. So special.
Jacqueline
That's so special.
Laura
Wow. And your dad knows how to communicate love to you on top of loving you. That's like, wow. That'.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
My follow up question was, will you. Would you show your children on the Internet?
Laura
I would. I wouldn't, I wouldn't. Limited.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
I Would. I don't want to say I wouldn't. And then I'm like, well, I hear, sorry, guys. I was just kidding. But there are limited ways to do it. You know what I mean? I feel like people have mapped out,
Jacqueline
like, I think I would show my baby. Yeah. Because, like, it's a baby.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
They're gonna be 24, 7.
Jacqueline
Yeah. But, like, I once my kids became, like, kids age, like, toddler age. I don't care.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
I think there's so many creeps. That's, like, my number one thing is there's so many creeps in this world that really freaks me out.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And I know, like, still to this day, people come up to Talia and Jade all the time. Those are my nieces. And they recognize them, and they're like, oh, my gosh. Hi. You know, like, I followed your aunt Jacqueline for so long, and the idea of.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Of.
Jacqueline
And like, even when that happened to them their very first time, I didn't like it. And I pulled back showing my nieces as much on camera because I'm like. Like, I don't know. I just think protecting the kids is the most important thing.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
It's a. That's a tricky question, though. That's really tricky.
Laura
I feel like people have gotten compared to, like, when we started social media, it was just like, anything goes because people didn't know. They were, like, learning. But now I feel like women have, like, mapped out, like, ways of showing their kids, but, like, not showing their kids, you know, showing the motherly moments, but, like, covering the face or just, like, not showing too much skin. Anything.
Jacqueline
There's no judgment. Like, that's your child for sure.
Laura
Like, I trust your ability to take care of what you need to do. Yeah.
Jacqueline
That just freaks me out.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I know.
Laura
Yeah. And it should. I mean, come on.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah. I saw this. I don't know if you guys saw it. Popped up on my TikTok. This, like, ad. It's from another country, I think. And it was. It's these two. It's these parents that are out at the mall with their daughter, and they're like, I'm trying to think. Let's just say the daughter's name is Taylor, because I can't think of any other original. Someone walks by them at the mall, and they're like, hi, Taylor. And they're like, do you know that person? And it's like, no. These are adults walking past this family, this parents with. With their child, and they just start making comments to them as they're like, Walking by like an older lady will be like, oh, my gosh, I hope
Sponsor/Ad Voice
your class project went well.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And it's like, oh, I hope you're glad to hear your dad finally picked you up from practice on time. And it's. It was showing that strangers, obviously you can know anything about your child from that. And it was literally just showing. I have chills thinking about it. It was like the first time I watched it, I was like, oh, whoa, that's creepy.
Jacqueline
Y.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
So after that I was like, ooh,
Jacqueline
yeah, I don't like that.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That scares me.
Jacqueline
That scares me. That scares me real bad. Yeah, I don't like that. Yeah, it's just kids are just so innocent.
Laura
Yeah. Well, it's your job to protect them as literally.
Jacqueline
Yeah. And it's like, oh, gosh. Yeah. Anything about kids. And I see, like, so much horrible stuff has been brought to the light recently surrounding children. I'm just like, oh. My instant reaction is just like, just protect them. Keep them away from everybody. The world is so scary. It's a really scary place to be.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yep.
Laura
Yeah. Oh, could this vintage store be any cuter?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Right?
Jacqueline
And the best part, they accept Discover.
Laura
Except Discover in a little place like this.
Jacqueline
I don't think so, Jennifer.
Laura
Oh, yeah.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Huh.
Jacqueline
Discover's accepted where I like to shop. Come on, baby, get with the times.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Right.
Laura
So we shouldn't get the parachute pants.
Jacqueline
These are making a comeback, I think. Discover is accepted at 99 of places that take credit cards nationwide. Based on the February 2025 Nielsen report.

Jacqueline
Speaking of protecting them leads me to another question because I kind of feel like I had the memorized in my head right now.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
If you don't mind me going into another one.
Laura
No, do it.
Jacqueline
Since we're talking about kids and all of that and protecting them. A lot of my followers were asking about beauty standards and I would really like to touch on that because it's something that I would like to listen to people talk about. I would like to listen to other girls talk about this subject. Just like the beauty standards in general, especially surrounding just like this new ultra Skinny Era GLP1s and just where we're at with beauty. And I know this is something that I personally struggle with with. I think that everybody does and I think it's like a conversation that isn't really had very often and I would like to hear more of it. So I would love to talk about beauty standards right now and just kind of like how we're navigating it and what that looks like for us. Especially me and you, Laura, being in the beauty community, like I would like to hear about from you as well.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And just what that looks like. And I'll say right now, I have been on a GLP1. I did the damn thing. I went back on and off of it for a couple. For gosh, months. Months. And I'm officially off of it at this point. I documented my entire journey. I got a lot of hate for being open and honest about being on a GLP1, which I'll just be honest. Like I know way more people, men and women, that have been on it than not.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But I just was open about it a year ago and there's a chance
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
that your favorite influencer is on a GLP1.
Laura
A chance just does not say, honey, throw a rock in LA and you're gonna hit someone on GLP1.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
They eat or what they're doing for their workout. It's is that's a GP one.
Jacqueline
Yeah. I personally, personally know several girls who push health, wellness, fitness and have personally told me that they're on one and they will not tell their followers.
Laura
That is where I draw the line with it. It really bothers me. I feel like you were very honest, but I didn't feel like you necessarily. Cuz your was beauty. It wasn't. You weren't selling health and wellness. So I feel like if you wanted to do that in your private life and keep that private, that's okay. And I stand by that. But for people who sell a lifestyle,
Jacqueline
sell them and that's their whole content.
Laura
I think honesty hour needs to come. I'm not on a GLP1. And I only say that because I don't want to. Like, we're tinkering around with me, but I'm gonna be honest.
Jacqueline
I think it's important for you, though, for someone like you. Like, you're a runner. You're a runner. You're a tracks up. Like, you do all the things. And I think it's important for you to be honest with your audience. Like, I'm not on one.
Laura
Yeah, right. Yeah.
Jacqueline
You are somebody. You look so healthy.
Laura
Thank you.
Jacqueline
You have not had cosmetic surgeries. You're not on a GLP1. You work your ass off. You look so good.
Laura
Thank you.
Jacqueline
For your age. You look amazing for your age. So you're someone that I would want to follow, knowing those things. Right. You embrace your natural body. Like, I love that. If you were to be on a GLP1 as someone consuming your content, I would want to know.
Laura
Yep.
Jacqueline
Yeah, I would want to know. Because I'd be like, okay, so, like, her physique is not obtaining a beauty standard like you.
Laura
You and I get truth.
Jacqueline
And that was my thing when I documented my journey of doing my GLP one is I was like, I've always been in the beauty community, and I do not want to fuel the fire of these unrealistic expectations of the beauty standard by pretending like I just dropped my, you know, the last £25 naturally in three months. Yeah, it backfired for me. People were upset, and they were like, you're. You're the problem. You're the reason why, you know, all these girls want to get on it and be skinny and yada, yada, yada. I had to just kind of like, like, silence that noise, you know? But that was my intention because so many girls are on it and not talking about it. And I was like, well, I want to be an honest one.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But I, I, I personally have struggled with not being on it because you do gain weight so easily. Like, that's just life. And like, that. That's me. Like, even when I'm trying to eat in a calorie deficit, I'm still gaining weight, and I'm like, ah. And it gets difficult because skinny is, like, the sexy right now.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
It's the thing. Like that super model 90s skinny. It's bad. I think it's 100 gross. The, like, body types are in.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But, like, that. It's a hard thing to navigate.
Laura
It is.
Jacqueline
It is.
Laura
I made it through the BBL era in Los Angeles with no hips, and I made it all the way through guys. I know surgery, and that was insane. Very brave. It was brave. It was brave. Let me tell you, walking out here with no hips, it was crazy.
Jacqueline
And you look amazing.
Laura
Not that I was, like, ever thinking about getting one. I'm just not.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I'm. I'm.
Laura
I'm too scared of surgery to begin with, and that feels very major to me. But also, I just don't see myself with hips. Like, I don't see myself coming through the door with an hourglass. I've never seen that for myself. Not my body style, not my body type. So I've owned it. But I. I agree with Jacqueline. We are in the 90s supermodel era again. I think GLP1 has a lot to
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
do with it, and it's now. Now just, like, so accessible.
Laura
So. And it's.
Jacqueline
That's on the Internet. You don't need a doctor. You don't need anything at your door. The very next day, they're literally, like,
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I see, like, wegovy, like, pills now.
Laura
It's on the tv.
Jacqueline
So easy.
Laura
I'm actually all for it too, because I know it's, like, transformed people's lives. And, like, yeah, it's just, like, it does create an. A standard for everyone across the board. But I think every time you stand in your power and are confident in your body, the next woman will see that and be inspired by it. You know what I mean?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I also feel like with. With beauty standards, I feel like I've been lucky with. I don't know what. What the brain in me is. I don't know if it's just because I literally, like, just, like, don't care half the time, but, like, I don't. Like, I don't want to be. I don't want to, like, fit the mold, and I don't, like, I. I feel like I also, like, blend in because I wear sweats all the time, and I'm, like, not, like, making loud statements. Like, I'm not that kind of, like,
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I don't want to fit in.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Because that's not my personality.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
But.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
But I've, like, I was, like, created like this.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, I want to, like, I want to look like myself. I don't want to look like everyone does on the magazine or whatever.
Jacqueline
And I think that is so special. And what you're saying sounds so simple, but it's so rare. Yeah, it's so rare. And I think it's really, really special that you feel that way. And I would hope that, like, if I ever had daughters, they Would I would be able to raise them to feel like, exactly what you just said. I think that's amazing. It's really hard to get lost in the sauce. It really is. Like, I have to check myself here. Like, we'll go to these events. Events. And I'll leave feeling like such an ugly sack of, like, the amount of surgeries and huge boobs and just everything that you see.
Laura
That's beauty, though, because I go to events outside of beauty sometimes. Like, I'll do a lifestyle thing or like my friend Joe. No one in there's beauty. It's a complete.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
You.
Laura
You will just be like, oh, my God, everyone's normal. Yeah, everyone looks. It's beauty. I know the beauty industry is like,
Jacqueline
no, we could do a whole documentary.
Laura
I mean, my God, the beauty events. Different standard than the rest of the industry.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No, I actually feel that when I go to beauty events because again, as you guys have learned listening to this podcast, I have no idea how to do it. Like, I don't like to understand these things and I don't, like, I don't have the, the trendy, you know, the, the jeans and like, I just, I'm like, just not. I don't know, I'm like, not present. Like we were talking about back there's, like, both of them, like, had these super cute bags that aren't designer bags or they're just like, cute. But I'm like, what. What is this fluffy bat? Like, I don't know anything. So that's. That's.
Laura
I think that's your charm. I think it's amazing. That's like, yeah, you're, like, out here
Jacqueline
interviewing, like, huge celebrities and you're just so down to earth.
Laura
And you, that's what makes you special, and that's what makes you, you and you authentic, you know?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
That's sweet. I also think that Taylor has a big part to do in that too, because he's like, yeah, he doesn't like when I get Botox. He's like, can we not?
Jacqueline
Like, okay, so funny story. Like, I always, like, not always, but for the most part, I'm glam. Like, if I'm gonna go to dinner, I'm glam. Like, it's a rare occasion where I not wearing makeup. I'm going to share the story of what your husband said. And after we had moved here after,
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
if that's what you weren't doing.
Jacqueline
So, yeah, okay, so we, I've been here. We have been here for a few months, hanging out with the taste. Several times there was One night they asked us to go to sushi, and so I'm like, oh, let's go. It's kind of last minute. I went worked out, showered, no makeup, slick my hair back, and just ran out the door. And then that night, Taylor was, like, told Tay, that's the first time I think I saw Jacqueline without makeup. She. She's so much prettier without makeup. And she was like, I wanted to share with you that. That's what he told me. When we left and got in the car, he was like, wow. Like, I've never actually seen how pretty she is. And I was like, that is so sweet to hear that, because, like, of course Jordan says it, but, like, yeah, girl. Like, I could be on my deathbed and Jordan would be like, bend over, you know?
Laura
I'm like, you can't be.
Jacqueline
But, yeah, but to hear him just say that, like, she looks so pretty, that makeup. I was like, oh, my God. Like, maybe I should embrace because, like, I have a lot of insecurities, like, we all do. And I thought it was so sweet, especially Taylor being, like, a guy from Hollywood, and it's like, he's seen everybody.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But, like, I think it's also just, like, a good reminder for all of us that, like, even though he's been in the room with all the most beautiful actresses, actors, singers in the entire world, like, he still is just, like, so, so normal that he can, like, look at a normal girl and just be like, look how pretty she's without makeup. And it's like, damn, like, the beauty standards are fake.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah, dude.
Jacqueline
Like, see what I'm getting at?
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
It's like, you guys, we've seen, like, the most famous people out there. And, like, when you're standing in front of them, if you really wanted to analyze them, you could, because they're human. Like, we're literally all human.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I have to remind myself, too, that when I see, like, I. I feel like the soft glam is in right now on carpet bits. And when I, like, want to do soft glam, I don't look like that. And I have to remind myself that there's, like, the access that celebrities have
Laura
to, like, what they have access to people that do full B and make it look soft glam.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Laura
But even.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Even just, like, the skin. Like, the. The skin.
Laura
And let me tell you, if they're doing BB on the carpet, they are getting suited up months before for that moment.
Jacqueline
Exactly.
Laura
It is not like a willy nilly. I just don't want to do it's like, that is prepared. That is planned.
Jacqueline
When I moved here, I learned that just two years ago at my estate. I have. I do facials with two different people every once in a while, and they both have told me now, like, oh, yeah, there's a red carpet coming up. This is the plan. And I'm like, there's a plan.
Laura
There's a plan.
Jacqueline
But, like, there's a plan. Like, they'll do micro needling every four weeks for three months. Months prior. They do the lasers facial day before all the things, and it's like they get prepared for three months before that carpet so that their skin looks as good as possible to do the light glam. But we're not talking about that. Yeah, we're not talking about that. We're just like, oh, God, their skin's so glowy.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And it's like, dude, how do I look like that? It's like, okay, well, they don't even look like that.
Laura
They don't.
Jacqueline
And then they don't like, oh, what's some of your tips? Oh, I just stay super hydrated.
Laura
Hydrated. Wait, what? Was it Lindsay? No, it wasn't. Was it Lindsay?
Jacqueline
It was.
Laura
I think it was something like me
Jacqueline
and Manny were in the text, just pissing our pants. She said something like. I think she drank a lot of lemon water.
Laura
It was lemon water. I gotta load up on that lemon water, honey.
Jacqueline
Give me the lemons. It's so good. It's so accurate. But I also think that, like, me and you, Laura, that's, like, part of our job is to be honest with people. And, like, that's why I was honest about the GLP1 on. And it's like, that's why I document. I'm doing micro needling. Anything that I will ever do, people will be like, oh, you're getting your lips touched up too, too often. Well, guess what? Everyone else is. They're just not documented yet.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
So it's like, I feel.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Pisses me off when people, like, get mad at you on the Internet. I literally, like, this last time people got mad at you, I. I don't ever comment literally, about anything. And I was literally, like, about to make a video. Just, like, pisses me off. Because if people actually knew Kale would
Laura
freeze over if she sat down. I would be like, oh, someone's in trouble now. Oh, y' all don't got girl tay on the mic. I would. I would be sad. I'd be like, we're all in trouble. Everybody shut up.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I just. I don't like I'm not. I'm so. I'm so chill and I'm so laid back, and I'm so out of the loop on everything.
Laura
You are.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And when the Internet gets mad at you, I. I get so annoyed at the Internet because they're literally wrong all the time. Jacqueline's a lovely human. I would not be friends with her if she wasn't. She's a lovely human. And the fact that she's actually sharing stuff. Stuff. Like, when you shared the glp, one thing, I was like, oh, dear God. I really. I'm really not looking forward to you
Laura
having to deal with it too. I told. I was like, this is probably gonna.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
You said you're gonna pump out. I was like, okay.
Laura
You're like, oh, God. Okay. What are you doing?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
But that's what people are like, how. Like, how could she do this? I'm like, well, the opposite is worse. Like when the. When influencers are posting what they eat in a day and they're on a GLP1.
Laura
I know.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I literally, like, that is so toxic. It is so horrible. Like, that just, like, really gets.
Jacqueline
That breaks my heart for young girls. Like, I have three nieces, and, you know, some of them struggle with body image.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And I'm constantly reminding them of what is so not real.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And it goes so deep. It goes so deep. Like, what's not real on the Internet.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
That scares me. For just the future generation. I also think that when it comes to beauty standards. Standards that if you just turn off your damn phone, you'll realize that they really don't exist.
Laura
Yeah. Oh, my God.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Feed to look like mine. Honestly, there's only like, four beauty people that pop up and two of them are sitting here. And I like that we made the organization videos. Probably some, like, I don't know, Bridgerton video. So just, like, it's very curated. It's just very. Yeah. Punches on there. It's just. There's no. There's nothing. There's.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
You gotta get to, like. You gotta use social media in, like, a safe.
Laura
Social media is people's highlight reel, by the way. It is the highlight grill of their life. It is their best body angle. It is the best shot of their abs that you could possibly get. It's the best lighting. It's. It's all the best.
Jacqueline
And I hate to say this because, like, I hate using the term like, I'm getting older, but I think that it's appropriate to say, like, I. Not even necessarily getting older with age, but, like, I've Been in this industry now for like, I. I think I'm around 15 years at this point.
Laura
Ye.
Jacqueline
And I'm just kind of like, tired of the bullshit. I'm just kind of tired of it. Cuz like, my feed is just hot girls posing all day. And it's like, yeah, you're. You're hot. 100%. I will like it. I'll comment fire emojis. Cause like, I'm supportive. Like, yeah, you're hot. But I'm also like, I don't want to be doing that anymore. I did it. I did like, I did it. Like, I bought all the jewelry. I showed off, I posed, I gave all the. And I'm like, I'm so over it.
Laura
And I'm like, you want more now?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Yes, I do. And it's like, I think I'm trying to find my. My, like, where's my place on the Internet?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Purpose.
Jacqueline
Where's my purpose? Oh, it's time to have a baby.
Laura
It's the moms. It's the moms.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I did want to ask this question because I actually saw quite a few of them pop up, which I'm. I'm sure you probably got too. Is navigating friendship breakups.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
No,
Jacqueline
I've dealt with quite a few.
Laura
I don't know anything about that, actually.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Laura's like, hook.
Laura
I think my pants.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
As you get older, I do think friendship breakups are truly just inevitable because you're. You're growing into who you are as a human and life just happens. Your values change, morals change, the things that interest you change. The, you know, your partner may change. Like, whatever it is. There's a lot of like, factors, I feel like, that go into that as you, like, actually become an.
Laura
I also feel like sometimes friendship breakups can be like a relationship breakup. Like, they hurt, like they're emotional. Like, I have seen people shredded. I could be worse. I have seen people shredded over friendship breakups and like, destroying their lives in a way of like, a heartbreak. You know what I mean? So they're hard to get over.
Jacqueline
I was gonna say I've been cheated on by every guy except for Jordan. And no one's ever hurt me the way way my girlfriends have. Yeah, it's almost like. I hate to say this, but it's like. It's almost like you expect to be hurt by a man. Like, at some point they're gonna let you down. At some point they're gonna hurt you. I hate to say that, but it's like, that's like this little inkling that's there. But you never expect it to come from like your best girlfriend.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jacqueline
You never expect like your best friend, like your to hurt you.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And when that happens, it is like, it's like the rug has been pulled. Pulled out. It is so hard. I've gone through quite a few friendship breakups. Yeah. But I also think that you just kind of get to the point where you're like, this was toxic. Like if someone is, if you're gonna, if you're gonna end up hurting one another so badly, it's toxic and it doesn't need to be there.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And I had so many girls in my DMs talking about friendship in general today. Just like how to navigate friendships, how to keep friendships at this age, how to make friends. We were talking about. Laura was like, yeah. People were asking how to make friends. And I'm like, I have no advice. I'm terrible making friends. I am, I'm so bad at making friends. I'm so awkward that like. Or maybe everyone else is awkward.
Laura
No, I'm like, no, silly, you're awkward.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Just kidding.
Laura
No, here's the thing with me is
Jacqueline
like if I, I need you to open up and trauma dump on me within five minutes or we're not gonna vibe.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like that's where I'm at at friendship. Like it needs to be like, hi, I'm chocolate. And if it's like like oh my God, that's why I'm like off.
Laura
Like I can't do this. You have to find people that will mesh with you. And that's what's hard about making friends. Cuz it's like yes, people are available and free to link up and be friends. But like if they're not your vibe, that's whenever it gets hard finding your vibe, it's hard. But I will say so. I was reading Mel Robbins book Let them and she was saying a good way to make friends in adulthood. Cuz she was saying in college, in school you're like, yeah, it's made for friendship. Because you're in a community, you're socializing, literally that's all you do is socialize. And then you get branched off into the world and you're working with like 60 year old Carol and a 22 year old, you know, so it's like, what is going on? How do I make friends? And then you're busy. But it was saying join an activity and then compliment someone. Because if you don't know how to get a conversation started, it's dry, it's hard. It's awkward. You're an adult. Just compliment someone. I like your back bag. Really like your necklace. And maybe a conversation going, maybe it won't, but either way is a positive experience, and it's just a good way to start a conversation.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
That's so true.
Laura
Compliment someone.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I even feel like I found, like, friends through my friends, like, going, like, I mean, that's how I met both of you. Yeah, you through you.
Laura
And I met you from our other friends.
Jacqueline
Now some of my friends. Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah. And I think that I feel like it's cool because I feel like we have mutual friends that we met through mutual friends, and I feel like I've introduced my friends, my mutuals to my other friends because we host all the time, and so all of our friends are together, and it's cool to see, like, there's bits and pieces of, like, each friendship that gets along. So, like, yeah, after, like, our Christmas party, one of my girlfriends was like, oh, yeah, we're getting dinner with this couple. And I was like, oh, my gosh, I didn't even know you guys connected. Like, that makes total sense. So, like, hanging out with. If your friend invites you to go out somewhere and you don't want to go, go. Because if you like your friend, then odds are there might people there that you also like.
Jacqueline
You and Taylor are, like, the best matchmakers they have. They have introduced me, Jordan, to so many people that we just absolutely love and adore at this point. Like, you guys are so good at matchmaking friends.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
You really are.
Laura
Good people attract good people. So, like, if you find a good person, good values, like a good human being, chances are the group around them is also good people.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
Good company.
Jacqueline
I feel like we did that with each other.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Right.
Jacqueline
It's like you brought in Johnny and Jazz, which are, like, they're good friends. You brought it, like, Natasha and Bradley, and then I brought in Linda and Franz. You and Manny came from you. It's like, now we're all hanging out together, enjoying each other's company. I think that's, like, the easiest way to do it as adults is finding friends that have friends. And it's being open to, like, having open to that open conversation and really getting to know them. It's easy. Even, like, coming over, like, watching football. It's easy just to kind of, like, close off, like, be on your phone. But you have to, like, make the conscious decision, like, when you're walking into the house, like, phone staying in my purse. And even if there's Awkward signs. Silence. Oh, well, I've been through worse. Like, we're gonna sit there and we're
Laura
actually gonna hang out with one another. Yeah. I love that.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
Also, friendship takes a little effort.
Jacqueline
It does.
Laura
It takes a lot of effort. It's like, you know, if you're doing something I want to be there for, I want to be there for.
Jacqueline
Love you, girl. Season of me in January. She was like, sorry, girl, I'm in the season of me right now. I was like, I love that.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
We did not see anybody.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Like, I don't think I saw you. You, man. I didn't see anybody in January.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
Because January is a reset month.
Jacqueline
I'm doing.
Laura
Because after the holidays. Yeah.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Well, that's.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I was going to say that's honestly the best thing that has come, I feel like from adulthood. I have some, like, friends that I've known since like preschool that are like my lifelong friends that know me and I can literally go like months without talking to them and it just picks back up. Like we're family. But as I've made friends later on in life, it's like I feel like I can so much be myself around you guys. Like, I can be like, no, I'm not feeling today, like 100%. I can be so honest and so real. And I know that, like, you're not going to be offended by something that I say.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
And I.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
That is like, that's like my favorite form of friendship is, like just being able to be like, honest and upfront and.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, about stuff.
Jacqueline
It's really healing.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And just. Yeah.
Laura
It's maturity too.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah. It feels safe. I think that's probably like, security too. Like, we are all secure in ourselves and in our relationships. Like, you know, I mean. Yeah. It's just.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
It's just comfortable.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
And I love to like, when we were away for Taylor's birthday weekend, it was the six of us and like, we literally. I was cracking up because we literally had almost a three hour dinner. We did not stop talking. No one looked at their phone. We got back to our hotel room, literally talked. I had to go to bed. I was so tired. It was past my bedtime. I mean, I think you guys end up leaving like 1:00am like, yeah, we
Jacqueline
were in your hotel room until 2:45am
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Love, like, finding friends.
Jacqueline
You can just talk, like just dying, pissing our pants, laughing, like, oh, my gosh.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, it's so. It's so fun. Like, I obviously, like, I know I feel like my friendships are either like that or it's. We're not saying a word and just, like, we want to hang out, but, like, we're mentally tired, but we both, like, want to hang out. We're just going to, like, sit in
Laura
the same room together. Yeah. Existing together. Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
But after that, I was like, this is, like, so fun.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, friendship is so fun.
Jacqueline
A blessing to have friendship like that. It really is. It is not easy to come by. There was a moment there in Tampa where a lot of my friendships I was really starting to acknowledge, like, oh, my God, like, in therapy, I was like, these are not good friendships. Like, even if the person necessarily wasn't a toxic person, our friendship was toxic. And I had several of those. You know, this is like, when I was drinking so heavily, a lot of people in my life were enablers. A lot of people in my life wanted to party with me. A lot of people in my life loved that I had a lot of money and wanted a free ride and loved the designer bags that I bought them. You know what I mean?
Laura
Like, yeah.
Jacqueline
And it took me a while to realize that. And so I. I sat in this awkward place when I got sober where I didn't really have friends for a while. It was just family.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And I just kind of sat in that. And I was so grateful for Jordan just, again, us having so much fun together and, like, just being, like, such a best friend to me.
Laura
Yeah.
Jacqueline
And then when we moved here, I had Linda, who's like, that's like my sister.
Laura
That is your sister.
Jacqueline
And so I was like, okay, at least I've got, like, one really good person in California.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
But then meeting you guys reconnecting because, like, me and you and Manny have always been friends, but not, like, now. Yeah, it's different now.
Laura
Yep. You're here.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
Yeah.
Laura
It's hard whenever you're across the country, different.
Jacqueline
And it's just been so amazing. It's been so amazing. But also, I think this is something that comes with age, is like, don't get it twisted to everyone listening. I've met quite a few people the last two years. Moving to la, where I immediately am like. Like, the signals go off and I'm like, oh, I thought I would vibe with this person. And I, in fact, do. Do not.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Laura
Fun. Also, friendship is supposed to be fun. So I feel like in those instances, you. So the saying is, top five people there in your life the most. You're supposed to name the number one characteristic about the top five, and then those five characteristics are you.
Jacqueline
Wow.
Laura
Yeah. So think about that. Yeah, it's really good, funny, amazing. You're like, it checks out. But, you know, you don't want to get a stinker in there. But I'm just saying. Because friendship is supposed to be fun. So just like you were saying, when red flags go off, I do think friendships kind of have to be tray. Like relationships too, where it's like, they gotta go, gotta go.
Jacqueline
Oh, it's.
Laura
So if they're dragging you down, I mean, be there for your friends, of course, through a hard time, but, like, constant negativity. You know, it's a competition relationship. You know, it's toxic. Get new friends.
Jacqueline
Have you guys had to actually, like, break up with a friend before? Yeah, like, actually, like, let them know. Not, like, let it winnow, like, whittle down, but, like, actually, like, break up with them.
Laura
I've whittled down a lot. I. I have a habit of going down with you. It's just easier sometimes the whittler down instead of being like, listen, this is it.
Jacqueline
Yeah. There was one person in my life that I had to actually, like, have a conversation. Like, we're no longer friends. Like, I had to actually break up with a female friendship. And it was. Was.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I've only had to do that.
Jacqueline
Horrible. So horrible. Like, worse than any breakup I've ever been through.
Laura
So horrible.
Jacqueline
But it just got to a point
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
where it's like, mine wasn't hard for me because I found out she was talking a lot of crap about me to all of my friends.
Jacqueline
Bye.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
So that one was really.
Laura
That here, like, you made it very easy. Yeah, that would make it very simple.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
It also, like, she was saying stuff about Taylor, too. So if.
Jacqueline
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
No, if there's. I'm like, yeah, I feel like I. People will get away with so much crap. Talk. Like, they can talk as much crap as they want about me, but what
Laura
can someone say about Taylor, first of all? Oh, she's like, there's a lot. Okay, we'll talk about that camera.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Okay, last question is, what's something you wish you would have known at 20 that you know now
Laura
so much?
Jacqueline
I have one thing that comes to my mind immediately, immediately is that people are going to talk regardless. Regardless. Like, I really did not see that at 20. And I'm finally starting to accept that, honestly, this year is that, like, no matter what you do, people are going to have an opinion. They're going to. You cannot make everybody happy. And that's not just in regards to the Internet. That's in regards to Everything. Like when I first started dating Jordan, there were people in my life that were not happy about that. And look at how happy I am eight years in, right? And now they're like, I can't believe, like I saw people that are in my life, they're like, I can't believe I didn't support.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Support.
Jacqueline
Yeah, you enjoy it in the beginning, right? But it's like if I were to listen to them, I wouldn't have like the greatest happiness of my life. So I think that if I could say anything to my 20 year old self, and I really wish I could have like accepted it, then it would be like people are going to have an opinion no matter what you choose to do. So just truly, as cheesy as it sounds like, do what makes you happy. We're all gonna die. No one makes it out alive. Do what makes you happy.
Laura
Also, they say if every single person, they say it's me, but I'm the one that says this. But I say if every single person around you on social media, they all love you. You, there's no way you're living authentic life.
Jacqueline
Absolutely not.
Laura
There's no way. If you are your genuine self, someone out there doesn't like you. And that is a good dinger. Now obviously you could be a red flag, but I'm just saying, like, you know, tons of people don't like you. But if you have your group of haters online or a couple people in your life don't agree with you, don't like you, that means you're probably living a pretty genuine life because there's no way every single person you encounter can like you if you are authentically living your life. So that's amazing.
Jacqueline
There's people that I follow and I'm like obsessed with them. Love them, love their content and they just get so much hate.
Laura
Yeah. Oh yeah, totally.
Jacqueline
I'm like, how could people like, like her? Like, I'm so confused by this. Right? But it's like, not everyone is for everyone.
Laura
Yeah, not everyone is for everyone. Mine probably would have been one. Only take advice from people that are doing what I want to do, but doing it better than me.
Jacqueline
Amen.
Laura
Not from all these, you know, that would have been a big one for. They would have, like, I would have went far with that one if I would have internalized that.
Jacqueline
Like when you think about like the com, like the competition that we used to deal with in the beauty community and like, but like, we didn't want
Laura
to be like them. So that, yeah, it's so that and beauty. I feel like what you're the. Yeah, that's like describes the beauty community. So stupid. So stupid. And also just whatever your passion for, just go all in. Go all in.
Jacqueline
Amen.
Laura
Get your ass in the game. Which I did. But I just wish my little. I could just touch my shoulder and be like, hey, you're doing the right thing. Yeah, don't worry about it. Just do it. Just do it. Just do it. Because you know, you carry all this weight of like, am I doing the wrong thing? Oh my God. I'm gonna do it anyways because I want to do it, but I'm scared. I'm nervous. Like I would have just been like, yeah, do it.
Jacqueline
Yeah, yeah.
Laura
Confident, Just going and do do it.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's good.
Jacqueline
That's good.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I feel like I. Mine would have been to like, now is the time to take the risk. Like, I feel like I look back and sometimes I'm like, I wish I would have like done that because I am a very like, safe person. Like, I don't, I don't like, you know, jet skis.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Jet skis scare me.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, I don't like, I'm just like a very like, safe.
Laura
Yeah.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Person. And sometimes I wish I would have been like, oh, like maybe, like maybe I should have like when I was dancing, maybe I should have audition for that or maybe I could have gone
Laura
and like done that.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Like, there's a lot of like things that I sometimes wish I could have like, done. Obviously I'm very happy with where I'm at in life, so it's fine. But I would have told, I've told myself, like, now's the time with you, you know, aren't married, you don't have a mortgage, you don't have kids. Like now is the time to actually
Laura
go take those risks.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
All your money and go.
Laura
Yep.
Jacqueline
Time goes fast.
Laura
Yeah, really fast. You're like, the older you get, the faster it goes too. So you really. I know.
Jacqueline
I like, I, I feel like there's a name for it but like I have like a few fear of like that. Like I can't think about getting older in time going by and like death. I can't talk about it. It's like, really scares me. I like, love.
Laura
Do you think when we get closer to the end we'll be at peace with it because we're middle aged now?
Jacqueline
I was about to say something so dark, but I feel like this is just accurate. It's like I was thinking about this when I was watching the pit. Oh, I'm like, I feel like when it comes time to go, you're gonna just be so miserable that you're gonna
Laura
make fun of it. Seems that way. And they're like, please, please, face.
Jacqueline
Like, I just think that, like, whatever you pass from, you just get to a point where you're like, I'm done. So I'm hoping that that does happen because, like, oh, God. See, I'm getting anxiety talking about this. The idea of not, like, having my family and my friends and.
Laura
Oh, my God, it's scary.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah.
Jacqueline
What a great note to end this podcast.
Laura
She's like, thanks, guys. I try to let the in question of, what would you tell yourself?
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
I thought it was gonna be inspirational, and it ended up being Jacqueline's like, I have anxiety. She's like, we're done.
Jacqueline
No, it's gonna be great. It's a great reminder to live your life to the fullest.
Laura
That's for sure. And that's exactly what you were saying.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Yeah. Full life. Find the friendships that do all the things.
Laura
Yeah. Do all up. Make mistakes.
Jacqueline
I know.
Laura
Screw it all up. Fix it. Start over 10 times. Who cares? Do it all true.
Jacqueline
It's a Tuesday. Go skydiving.
Laura
Like, literally one life.
Jacqueline
And, like, one day, like, your hips start to hurt, then your knees, then this, then that next, you know, you can't do the things you used to do. Like, it happens so quickly. Live now.
Laura
Yeah, live.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's good.
Jacqueline
I'm gonna go sit on the couch and do nothing for the rest of the night.
Laura
I love it. That's living.
Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Thank you, ladies, for coming and joining me on this fun episode. We need. We honestly just need to do this more.
Jacqueline

Host (possibly Tay or Taylor)
Me too. I love sitting and yapping with you guys. My favorite yappers. I think you're also my favorite yappers because I trust your advice. Like, I wouldn't. People listening. Like, I wouldn't have them here if I didn't want you to, like, hear what they had to say. Like, I trust your guys. Advice and when I, like, need help.
Jacqueline
That's really, really sweet. That means a lot, actually.
Laura
Yeah. Thanks for asking us to come on. I'm literally. You tell me when I'll be here. I love these green chairs. Chairs. I love these green chairs.
Jacqueline
Do this on Monday. And then my ass woke up with a migraine. I was like, I can't die. I felt so bad. I felt so bad.
Laura
It worked out better anyways, this way. So it's perfect. Good.
