Taylor
What's your favorite thing about pregnancy?
Natasha
Cricket.
Taylor
Cricket. Amy just was telling us that she's got a hair on her shoulder.
Amy
I swear it's like an inch long. Wait, can you look?
Natasha
Yeah. Oh, yeah, I see it.
Amy
It's like, long. Why are my shoulders growing here?
Taylor
Taylor and I were sitting on the couch last night, and he starts going like this to me, but I'm like, is there a hair? He's like, I think it's cute. Connected to you. And I was like, connected to. He thought it was a dog hair. I need to just dermaplay in my face.
Amy
Apparently, I need to do it to my whole body.
Natasha
Yeah, me too, brother.
Taylor
Between the body hair, the dark nipple. The nipples grow.
Amy
Oh, my God. The nipples are wild.
Natasha
I didn't know that they could get that way.
Amy
Why now? Like pepperonis.
Natasha
It's alarming.
Amy
And I know they're going to get worse.
Natasha
I know.
Amy
My mom friends have shown me their nipples. That's what we have to look forward to. They're.
Taylor
They're really, like, the best things. I'm trying to think.
Amy
Popping. What is that? Is that sugar?
Natasha
No, it's lime.
Taylor
Oh, sour.
Amy
Oh, my God. Do you feel sick?
Taylor
I can pause.
Natasha
No, no, I'm fine. I'm sick 24 7.
Taylor
Fine.
Natasha
I just needed a little something.
Taylor
Before we get into this. Lemon drop. Welcome back to another Bump Club episode. We were in the same clothes as last time, but these episodes are separated because we just have so much to talk about. So we're just getting into it. Amy, just before, while we were giggling, was telling us that she found a hair on her shoulder.
Amy
No. Okay, so as I was saying, I am not a naturally hairy girl, but I don't know how I found this, but when I was showering last night, I literally found the longest hair on my shoulder. I swear it's like an inch long. And it's literally just one hair.
Taylor
You didn't pull it out. It's still there.
Amy
No, it's still there because I have
Natasha
my pull on over here, but I just can't look at it.
Amy
Really.
Taylor
Do you want me to, like, tweeze it?
Natasha
Oh, yeah, I see it.
Amy
It's like, long.
Natasha
Yeah, yeah, I see it, but it's like. It's like. It's not even the same color as your hair. It's like.
Amy
No, it's like blonde or gray.
Natasha
Like peach fuzz, kind of.
Amy
Yeah, but it's the weird, like, why. Why are my shoulders growing hair? No, but it's only One hair.
Taylor
It's not even like, I have hair.
Natasha
No. I had this on the back of my arm. A one long peach fuzz for no reason. It's literally just like that strange.
Taylor
Taylor and I were sitting on the couch last night, and he starts going like this to me right here. Literally right here. And he keeps going like this. And I'm like, is there a hair? He's like, I think it's connected to you. And I was, like, connected to. He thought it was a dog hair because the dog's hair is always, like, on our faces because they're. They, like, live on the couch with us. But he was literally, like, going like this, and I was like, what is it a dog hair?
Amy
Did you pluck it?
Taylor
I haven't even. I have so much piece. I need to just dermaplane my face. But, yeah, I need it to. I was literally like, apparently I need
Amy
to do it to my whole body.
Natasha
Yeah, me too, brother.
Taylor
That is. Yeah, that's definitely one thing. That's been the hair growth. Yeah, we can just get into it. The hair growth is really.
Amy
I definitely think that that's the symptom that I wasn't expecting, but, like, I
Natasha
haven't experienced, like, that. I mean, my hair. My hair grows. I feel, like, pretty standard. I haven't had some, like, in crazy fluctuate in fluctuation, like, in my head hair, but everywhere else. I'm, like, shocked every time I get in the shower, and I'm like, what is this? Everywhere?
Amy
Yeah, like, everywhere. I did laser hair removal.
Taylor
Has hair has come back?
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
The weirdest thing for me has been, like, my, like, upper outer thigh, like, up here is superior. Yes.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
But, like, I didn't. I kind of had. I mean, I definitely. Like, my. My ethnic background is not very kind to me in the hair department, but it, like, had gone away. And I just finished, like, a few rounds of laser, and the laser does take me a little bit longer because I do have hair, but also because I was.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Because of, like, the PCOS and going off birth control, I couldn't do it at, like. I'm a perfect candidate for it because I'm white and my hair is dark.
Amy
Right.
Tasha
And.
Taylor
But she couldn't do it at, like, the normal setting because my. I was, like, getting all the little hive things, and she was like, we just need to turn this down. But it's, like, gone.
Tasha
So now I'm like, when the baby
Taylor
comes out, is it gonna, like, go away or gonna. Am I gonna have to start over?
Amy
I think you have to start.
Taylor
Yeah. I was gonna say I think you have to start over. Like. Well, is it because I feel like being as like I've never had hair up here on my leg. Is it still going to just be there or. Because my hormones leveled out after the baby.
Natasha
Maybe you had removal from there previously.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Oh yeah. I think you have to start over then.
Taylor
Okay.
Amy
Yeah. Because I remember being warned by people that I would have to like that's
Taylor
why I haven't laser my. Because people said that.
Amy
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah. It was like amazing for a couple of months and then once I stopped it all just came back. Like it's not a permanent thing. You still have to like have some of upkeep with it.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
My sister in law actually gave me like an at home laser thing that I'm not using now. Obviously like ipl. Yeah. And honestly it worked. Like obviously you have to like do your laser hair removal sessions like at like a place but just for like touch ups. It does work.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah. So I'll probably go back to that after pregnancy.
Taylor
I can't wait. That's something that we have been talking about. The three of us is just how excited we are to get looking like the best version of ourselves after these babies come out. Because I just really think I took for granted all of the things I could, could have been doing.
Amy
I will be skipping on over to the med spa.
Taylor
Yep. We will be booking appointments. We will keep that booked and busy. No, I'm like so excited to get micro needling done after this.
Amy
I'm just, oh my gosh, I need that.
Taylor
I'm itching.
Amy
I've never done it before.
Taylor
I want to do it. I was about to do it for the first time. That's literally the appointment I had. Yeah.
Amy
I guess should have just done it.
Tasha
I guess we'll never know.
Taylor
I know I should have taken the test, done it. I know. Is there any other pregnancy symptoms? That's a question in here. Like pregnancy symptoms you didn't know or like the weirdest.
Amy
I feel like I've had every pregnancy symptom.
Taylor
Everything is a symptom. That's. Well, yeah, that's my everything.
Amy
Like even like, like my heart beating so fast out of my chest. We've talked about this before but like that is like why like that scared me at first. I was like, is there something wrong with like me? But I feel like that is a symptom that I wasn't expecting. It's just my heart beating out of my chest like at all times. Like I could just be sitting there, not doing anything, and I just feel like I have a racing heart.
Taylor
Yeah, same.
Amy
Maybe it's some anxiety. I mean, like, I could literally just be like, reading my book and I just like. And I feel like out of breath. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Taylor
That's something that was not talked about. That's why in the last Bum Club episode, I talked about heart monitor. Maybe I've opened up about it by the time this episode comes out. Maybe have it. But that's what was going on. I was like, severely out of breath from just like standing and had to sit down. And it was like I was getting really lightheaded. And I ended up having an abnormal ekg and then I had to go get an echo cardiogram done of my heart that came back fine, and then saw a cardiologist, had to wear my
Tasha
little monitor for two weeks and basically
Taylor
came back, um, this thing called irregular sinus tachycardia. So basically there's like different heart rhythms. I'm trying to put this in, like, very layman's terms. There's different heart rhythms and like when your heart is normal and healthy, it's in sinus rhythm. And so my rhythm was fine. So there was nothing life threatening. But it would just like this morning I was standing at my computer, my heart rate jumped up to 1:40 and I was just like standing. So it, like, it just. That's just what happens. Like, my heart rate just picks up. And my cardiologist was like, I could put you on beta blocker, but, like, you don't. Like, like, if you weren't pregnant, I would say you should do that and, like, talk to your OB if she would be fine with you doing that if you're asymptomatic. And I just decided I didn't want to do that because I just don't want to have to. I just, honestly, once I found out that it wasn't threatening to the baby, I was like, okay, like, I'll just deal with it. And now it has gotten better since, like, first trimester. Hormones have leveled out and this is honestly something I could have been having. But because of, like, the increased blood volume and all of the stuff that we deal with, it could have. I could just be feeling it more now. But it has gotten better. But it's still, literally, it still happens. So.
Amy
No, that's scary. It's like any symptom that's like, weird like, that you, like, your immediate thought is, I don't want this to be harmful to the baby. You Know, like, that scares you so much, but as soon as you find out that it's okay, you're like, okay. No.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
It's, like, no problem.
Taylor
Yeah.
Tasha
No, I think between.
Taylor
Between the body hair, the dark nipple, the nipples grow.
Amy
Oh, my God, the nipples are wild. No, I.
Natasha
Like how I didn't know. Like, I didn't know that they could get that way.
Amy
But also, why now? Like, the baby's not here yet. Like, why does it need to happen so early
Natasha
in really soon?
Amy
They got dogs.
Taylor
I forget first who one of us texted first. And I know all of us were like, no, literally, same.
Amy
Yeah, like pepperonis.
Taylor
No, it's alarming.
Amy
No, And I know they're gonna get worse because, like, I know my, like, mom friends have shown me their nipples, like, sent me pictures and stuff. I'm like, oh, like, that's what we have to look forward to. But they do go back to normal after breastfeeding. Okay, so like, a year after.
Natasha
Literally, like.
Amy
Yeah. So like, a year and a half.
Taylor
Okay. My husband's enjoying my big boobs, so it's fine. That's honestly been something that I'm, like, the boobs getting bigger is, like, crazy to me. Like, the fact that I'm, like, literally, like, a double deep is, like, crazy.
Amy
No, I know. It's so wild. Yeah.
Taylor
I don't like it. I'm still. I'm, like, into people, like, comment on
Amy
my massive booth as I did the
Taylor
start of, like, last episode.
Amy
Yeah, you were like, your boobs just look really big.
Taylor
They look great. No, I'm, like, in denial about it. Like, I still will wear my C cup bra and.
Amy
No, me too.
Taylor
And just be, like, uncomfortable.
Amy
This skin maternity bra is the first, like, bigger bra that I've bought for myself.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I was like, okay, I need to stop wearing my extra small slash. Small.
Taylor
Yeah, no, Yeah, I think that would be the biggest.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
I mean, we were even talking, like, the cellulite and just, like, the stretch marks. How it happens, like, just comes out.
Amy
I spiraled over that cellulite this weekend. So crazy. Yeah. It comes out of nowhere.
Tasha
We're motivated.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
We're ready to.
Natasha
Oh, yeah. I'm trying to think of, like, other ones that I feel like we've. We. There's, like, so many things we've talked about in the group chat. Like, does anyone else have this? I know I'm not blinking, but that's where I'm like, what?
Tasha
What else?
Taylor
I know. I feel like our biggest thing is, like, what we've been, like, eating Too. Or, like, what we can and can't consume. That's been the biggest thing you just had. Amy just had sushi.
Amy
I just had sushi. I started crying because I was so
Taylor
happy for Lemon Drops listening. We've all been, like, pretty, like, strict about food.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Like, you know, the. No deli meat, no soft cheese, no sushi. Like, that's been. We've all been really good.
Tasha
How.
Taylor
How many.
Amy
Remember that one time we were at a restaurant and you looked at me and you're like, are you doing Brie? As if it was, like, a drug. And I'm like, yeah, I'm doing brie.
Taylor
We did cheat. We got a soft cheese at some, like, really nice Italian restaurant we were at. And I literally looked at her. I was like, are you doing this? We were laughing so hard.
Natasha
That's hilarious.
Taylor
No, Tasha, I and I were at our friend's birthday dinner at Nobu at the beginning of the year, and we just sat together at the end of the table. And luckily, luckily, there was enough, like, food options that we also, like, weren't feeling. That was when I was still feeling bad, too. So we weren't, like, eating too much, but there was definitely, like, a lot of fish that was being passed around that we were, like, just staring at. But honestly, it's been so nice because we've been able to, like, have each other to, like, talk through it. But, yeah, your sushi was good. It made you cry. We actually haven't talked about it.
Amy
Yeah, no, it was amazing. So my friend. It was for her 30th birthday.
Taylor
Okay.
Amy
And she had, like, like, a sushi chef come to the house and, like, make sushi. So I was, like, watching him prepare and stuff, and I was like, it looks really good. Like, you know, I feel like it's safe to eat. And he offered. He was like, I'll just, like, make you, like, a California roll and, like, what, like, cooked fish or whatever? Like, he was, like, so nice. And I did eat that, but then I, like, snuck a few pieces of real sushi, and it was so good. Oh, my God.
Tasha
Yeah.
Amy
But it did, like, open me up to it, and I think that maybe I'm a little bit more open to eat it now from time to time.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
But, like, not, like, grocery store sushi,
Taylor
you know, for sure.
Amy
Like, if I go to, like, an actual good restaurant that I used to go to, then.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
I mean, my doctor said it's fine. He said it's fine from, like, the first trimester.
Taylor
Oh, yours did?
Amy
Yeah. My doctor has Told me that I can eat sushi. It's me with my anxiety, where I've been. Like, I don't want to eat it.
Taylor
Oh, I don't think I knew that.
Amy
Mine.
Taylor
Mine was like, no.
Amy
Yeah, yeah. Mindset is totally fine. So I think I might start. It's so just like occasionally.
Taylor
Yeah.
Tasha
And then we have so many people.
Taylor
Like I was asking like our mutual friend. She was like, no, I ate like, she. She was like, I. Sandwiches the whole time.
Natasha
Literally throughout her whole pregnancy.
Taylor
So I guess it's just really like what you're.
Amy
It's your comfort level. Everyone's so different. Yeah. It's whatever.
Taylor
But then we were also talking about like, you know, a big reason is because earlier on, if you do get sick, like, that's just putting so much strain on your body. And then the baby. And the baby's still so little, but like, we could get food poisoning from
Tasha
ordering like a salad.
Taylor
Like, there's just.
Amy
I hear like a lot of people from lettuce.
Natasha
Like, it's full if you're having salads during your pregnancy. And I'm like, that's crazy because it's. I mean, it's true. It's like that you could easily get sick from that.
Taylor
Yeah. So I'm like, I almost. Fruit even I would trust like, yeah. The, you know, sushi grade sushi.
Amy
Like if you're going to like Nobu or like sea butter or like restaurants like that. It's like it's being prepared well.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
You know, like, again, I wouldn't trust like grocery store sushi, but I think from like a reputable restaurant, it's fine.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
But we'll see if. We'll see if we make that. I mean, does that even like sound good to you?
Natasha
No, I like the, like, the idea of having sushi sounds so good. But I think because I still throw up every day, I rather.
Amy
No.
Natasha
Not have it totally. And then enjoy it once I'm done being pregnant. Because the. In the first trimester, even like the rare foods that I would feel okay eating, once you. You throw them up, then you're just like, this is. I would just have like a bowl of rice and then I haven't had rice for. Since then because I was just throwing up rice all the time. Now that sounds disgusting. So I don't want to like try food that's my favorite food and have a bad experience. Even though it's not going to have anything to do with the sushi. It's just my body and then not like It. So that is my first meal when I give birth, though. Like, I already have that planned.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
100%.
Taylor
I'm, like, debating if I want to have the giant sushi boat delivered to me, like, in the hospital or, like, what.
Amy
Or keep sending those. So fear my husband.
Taylor
I'm like, do I want it there? Do I want it at home? Like, I want to be able to eat it.
Natasha
I think I'm gonna do sugarfish in the room, and then I'm gonna go have, like, a proper.
Amy
Yeah.
Natasha
Sushi experience.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I was planning on having my best friend bring me sugar fish. Yeah.
Natasha
I don't know why. Like, that's been a pregnancy.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Not even craving.
Amy
But also, the sushi boat is so cute.
Natasha
Yeah. The sushi boat is really adorable.
Taylor
I know.
Amy
I mean, we could have both. Could have one person bring the sushi boat and another person.
Natasha
I know.
Taylor
I just really want. I'm so excited.
Amy
Yeah. I want sushi and a glass of wine.
Taylor
I haven't.
Amy
Yeah, that's what I want.
Taylor
Yeah. The wine. The wine. I haven't craved wine, like, bad. Yeah. But it's mainly, like, when it's warm and, like, my friends are having white wine. I'm like, yes, exactly. No, it's Fritz.
Natasha
So refreshing.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I think this summer, we're really gonna miss a spritz or, like, a margarita.
Natasha
I know, but I feel like we've been sending back and forth, like, good mocktail spritz. We've got some mocktails coming up with some, like.
Amy
Yeah, we need to.
Taylor
Taylor just made, like, this pineapple lychee
Tasha
mocktail for us the other night.
Taylor
It was so good.
Amy
We need make this one later.
Taylor
Yeah, I know. So, honestly, if I text him right out.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
He would be walking in with them. No, that's actually. I think something that's.
Amy
I like li l is, like, my favorite.
Taylor
Yeah. I miss. I. I do. The mocktails are a good.
Tasha
A good filler.
Amy
I need to stop talking about alcohol.
Taylor
Fr okay. Yeah. We can move on to the next. To the next thing.
Tasha
There's this thing that happens when you're pregnant where you are simultaneously more hungry than you've ever been in your life, but also have the least amount of energy to do anything about it. Like, the idea of standing in the kitchen for an hour, cooking a full meal at the end of the day sounds genuinely impossible, But I also want to actually eat something real and nourishing, not just whatever's easiest to order. That tension is so real, and it's honestly one of the main reasons Tempo has become such a lifesaver for me lately. Tempo delivers fresh, chef crafted, dietitian approved meals right to your door and they're ready in just two minutes. Plus, it's actual real food that was made by someone who knows what they're doing just waiting in your fridge for whenever you need it. Get started with Square and build a setup that works the way you do. There are certain pieces you just keep reaching for without even really thinking about it and the flow Y Tank from Lululemon has become one of those for me. I've been living in it lately and it's the thing I put on when I want to feel like myself and actually be comfortable at the same time. The fabric is called Nulu and it genuinely is unlike anything I've worn before. It's buttery, soft, weightlessly light, moves in every direction with you. You almost don't feel it, which sounds like a small thing, but it really isn't. When something feels that effortless on your body, you just feel better, more at ease, like you're not fighting your clothes. The Y Racerback design gives you this really clean, open feeling through your shoulders and back, and the fit stays put without ever feeling restrictive. It's got a built in shelf bra and soft support so it handles whatever
Taylor
your day looks like.
Tasha
I've had it on from morning stretch to running errands and everything in between, and it just works for all of it. And honestly, what I appreciate most is that it doesn't look like workout wear when you're not working out. The silhouette is clean and the design is minimal enough that you can throw something over it, pair it with whatever and it just looks intentional. It's not screaming athleisure. It just looks like you got dressed
Taylor
and happen to be really comfortable.
Tasha
I wear Lululemon and you should too. Go to lululemon.com right now. New styles drop all the time and the colors go fast, so don't wait. And if something doesn't work for you, free returns always. That's lululemon.com lululemon.com something I think about a lot lately is just how much has changed for women when it comes to healthcare access. And one of the biggest ones is something I'm so genuinely excited about. Opill is the first over the counter daily birth control pill. No prescription, no doctor's appointments, no health insurance required. You just walk into the store, pick it up, or order it online just like you would anything else that is genuinely such a big deal. So many women have spent years dealing with insurance red tape or long waits to get an appointment or just not having a doctor they felt comfortable talking to about this stuff. Opill removes all of those barriers completely. And before anyone wonders, this is not some new unproven thing. This is a pill that has been prescribed by Doctors for over 30 years. It's backed by more than 50 years of science, it's fully FDA approved, and it's safe and effective. The only thing that's changed is that now you don't need a middle step to get it. It's also really easy to use. You take one pill at the same time every day. It starts working after 48 hours and you can start or stop it at any point. You can find it at most major retailers in store and online. So it's genuinely available wherever is most convenient for you. And honestly, what I love most is that it just puts that decision back in women's hands. You don't have to wait for a referral or hope your insurance covers it or plan around your doctor's availability. When you're ready, you can just go get it. That kind of independence over your own health care is something I think every woman deserves. And Opill is making it real. Preventing pregnancy is as easy as oat pill. Read all label information. Use as directed.
Taylor
Okay, these questions are kind of like, coincide, but expectation of pregnancy you had versus the reality. For me, I think it would be that I thought I was going to feel beautiful and glowy and like, feel like for sure this was like the best thing.
Amy
Yeah, totally.
Taylor
Yeah, that was. That's definitely mine. I've. Yeah. That feeling hasn't been there. That fun, glowy, like self. Self confident. Honestly, that I feel like so many women are like, I was so confident in my pregnancy.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Like, waiting for that to, like.
Amy
Yeah. I feel like once the bumps grow bigger, hopefully that confidence starts to like.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Grow. Because we're still like in that phase where we're not like fully rounded out, you know, like. Yeah.
Natasha
I mean, I think we talked about this in the last episode, but I would say I had more of an expectation to be so excited about it.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
And not that I'm not. I'm so excited about it now. It's like the best thing of my whole life. Waking up every day and feeling kicks and like talking to the baby and all the things. But in my first trimester, I had like very little to almost zero joy. Like, my spirit was just so depleted because of all of the physical aspects that were so difficult. And I don't think I was expecting that. Also because online usually people start posting that they're pregnant in their second trimester when things get a lot Better. So I just never really saw how tough the first trimester was. I really wasn't expecting to be so sad or, like, in this little hole, but now I get it.
Taylor
So that's.
Amy
Yeah, yeah. No, for sure. Yeah. I don't even know if I had, like, really an expectation. Yeah, well, I feel like. I mean, like, the thing about also, like, pregnancy after loss is, like, you don't get your first pregnancy back, like, ever again, you know? So it's, like, hard for me to, like, really think of, like, how I expected it to go because, like, I, like, lost the first one and then the second one, you know?
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
So I feel like every. Like, I just take everything, like, day by day and week by week, you know?
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I just try to not, like, expect too much because you never know, like, what's going to happen.
Tasha
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
On a lighter note, what's your favorite thing about pregnancy?
Natasha
Cricket.
Tasha
Cricket.
Natasha
My favorite thing about pregnancy is, honestly, besides, like, just having a baby and how fun that is, is my relationship with my husband. Like, I am. I was already obsessed with this man, but I am like, he is my pregnancy craving. Like, I need him around all the time. I want to spend every waking minute with him. And I, like, already felt that before, but I don't know, there's something so different after getting pregnant that I'm, like, ultra attached to him. And, yeah, it's just so cool, like, talking to our baby and planning for the future, but also, just, like, my love for him has grown more than I could have ever imagined.
Taylor
So.
Natasha
Yeah, that's been my.
Taylor
My favorite part.
Amy
Yeah, I agree with that.
Taylor
I. Yeah, I think I would, too. I'm a very, like, I'm a very independent person, and I am not, like, I don't ever really, like, feel like I, quote, unquote, need Taylor, unless I'm, like, struggling with something. Like, I think just because I'm so, like, hyper independent, but with pregnancy, I've definitely, like, I've become so needy, and it's really funny for me. Taylor's like, yeah, what is happening to you? But it's. Honestly, it's like. It's really fun. Like, it's.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
I've been joined. Like, being needy.
Amy
Yeah. No, I love being around, like, Ophir. I feel like he also works from home, so we're together, like, actually 24 7.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
And so whenever, like, one of us doesn't see each other, like, all day, it's, like, such a weird feeling. I miss him.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Like, he's going on a work trip at the end of this month, and I'm like, what am I going to do at home, like, all by myself? You're not even going to be here.
Natasha
I know.
Amy
But something else that I, like, love is, like, watching her kick, you know? Like, I could literally just sit there for hours. Like, even before we started, like, rolling this episode, like, I was just, like, had my shirt.
Taylor
We were sitting in the chair with our shirts.
Amy
Yeah. And I was just like, watermelon kick. And I'm like, that is just, like, the coolest thing, that there's just, like, an actual, like, baby in our stomachs that we can actually feel and now see kick.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
It's just so cool.
Natasha
I know. Mine was like, I had to unbutton my pants because whoever's in there was rolling over, and I'm like, all right.
Amy
Oh, my God.
Taylor
Natasha's waiting to find out the gender of her baby till she gives birth, which Amy and I are sad about, because we want to know.
Amy
I want to know.
Taylor
That's literally going to be the first.
Amy
It's going to be so cute. Like, either way, like, if it's a girl.
Taylor
I know.
Amy
It's going to be so cute to have another girl.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
In our group. But if it's a boy.
Natasha
I know.
Amy
It'll be like a reverse summary turn. Pretty situation.
Natasha
I know.
Taylor
I'm so excited to find out. I love that. I love that for them. I was telling Natasha that I just need her login to her, and I already have it. They.
Amy
They.
Natasha
They didn't.
Taylor
They took it off of there.
Natasha
No. They don't give me access to it. They call me for everything, so I can't see.
Taylor
I was gonna log in when she went into labor, so I can know before.
Natasha
No, I literally. I don't even have the option to look. Like, if I wanted to know, I would have to call them and they would have to tell me. I don't have any login.
Taylor
That's great, because if you had the login, you would look.
Natasha
Yeah. Or I think, like, I would just. I don't know, or, like, accidentally see it like that. Yeah. Well, I was very adamant. Like, even when we told them, I was like, if you get any email, and I don't know if we're going to, like, do not open anything without me just in case. But she kept, like, you know, one of the nurses kept telling us, like, you're not going to get anything. And sure enough, we. We have no access to anything.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Other like, just this, the test results, and then they emailed me the test results that, like, I could see, but it's all on their site, so I have no way of knowing unless I was to literally call my doctor up.
Amy
Yeah, well, that's good. You know that you can't, like, accidentally.
Natasha
Like, I can't accidentally see because I have nothing.
Taylor
Yeah. Yeah. I had to take Taylor and I, like, four tries to see.
Natasha
Yeah. Like, when you guys saw your results, like, I don't have that.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
I don't even. Even if I wanted to see just my results. Not gender, but whatever. What are the other testing that we did? I couldn't see.
Amy
Do you remember what company you use for the nipt? Natera N. Yeah.
Taylor
Love that for you. I guess we'll wait and see.
Amy
We will find.
Taylor
Can't wait to see. On the note of our husbands, as we were talking about, someone wrote advice on how your relationship has changed and learning to prioritize your marriage during pregnancy. I feel like that you just. There's no other option. Also, because I know we were all, like, very, like, heavily, like, reliant on our husbands for a lot of stuff. Like, I know for me, Taylor was literally just, like, it was making, like, the grilled cheese all the time and, like, best grilled cheese literally ever, Literally. But just, like, the food, the filling up the water, doing, like, things around the house, taking care of the dogs. Like, it was so, like, I relied, like, so much on him. And now that I'm feeling better, it's, like, nice to, like. And also, like, my first trimester, I didn't really want to be touched.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Like, I was like, I didn't want to be, like, snuggly because I just felt sick. And I. When I feel, like, sick, I don't. Unless I'm, like, having a meltdown because I'm not feeling good. That's why I want to hug. But when I'm, like, feel, like, bloated or anything, I'm like, I don't really want to be touched. And so I definitely went, like, quite a few weeks not wanting to be touched.
Tasha
And now I'm like, okay, now I want to snuggle.
Amy
That's cute.
Taylor
But I've really been feeling. The biggest thing for me is I struggle with, like, I struggle with confrontation and, like, saying how I'm feeling.
Tasha
Like, if it's something not related to
Taylor
Taylor or, like, a hard conversation, like, it's just, like, me being anxious. Like, I'm totally fine talking about that. But anything that has to do with, like, confronting Taylor about. I feel like confronting sounds like such A big word, but anything that is sharing that an emotion that is based off of something someone else did is hard for me to do. And I was, like, talking with my therapist about it, and he was like, before I got pregnant, and he was like, this is like, a muscle you can work on. Like, because you didn't grow up in a family that dealt with, like, confrontation.
Tasha
Like, it's not something you're used to.
Taylor
But he was like, you will, like, get used to it. And, like, you know, it'll be, like, practice, and you have a husband that loves you and, like, wants to actually hear, like, what you have to say. So that's been, like, one of the coolest things I think, for me during pregnancy is, like, my patience has lowered. And also, like, I'm just like, screw it. Like, I just feel like I need to say whatever I'm feeling. And it's literally been the best thing. Like, it's been really cool to be able to, like, voice how I'm feeling. And, like, my deep thoughts are things that have bothered me, like, to Taylor. And it's been nice to, like, finally have, like, the. I don't know if courage is the right word, but, like, the. The oomph to do that.
Amy
No, for sure. I agree. I feel like pregnancy and, like, even the loss, like, helped our communication get so much better.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Because I had to, like, really, like, talk about why what someone said bothered me or what they did bothered me or boundaries that I needed to have, like, with going to events or holidays or, like, things like that. And I had to get, like, really good at explaining why, you know, like, why I was feeling a certain way or like, why I wanted something to go a certain way. And that is definitely something that doesn't come naturally to me because I'm also an only child. So I feel like I'm not, like, used to, like, voicing what I need. But it's definitely helped us, like, for him to, like, understand what I need and for me to understand how to voice that and talk to him so he understands, like, where I'm coming from.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
But so good, for sure. In pregnancy, he's definitely stepped up because I needed a lot of help. I mean, I still do, you know, but, like, especially in the first trimester, like, with not being able to, like, even, like, cook food, like, cooking food, like, grossed me out. So, like, he really stepped up with cooking or, like, cleaning the house.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Things like that. And then he's also, like, really mindful about, like, knowing that once the baby comes, he's you know, likely gonna have to help out a lot. And he's like very open with that.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
So I mean, it's really cool seeing him step up like that.
Tasha
That's great.
Amy
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah. Something I've also learned within this time is I feel like, and I don't know if people have different opinions on this. I've like seen a couple comments recently, but this is just my experience of like when I am talking, yes, I am the person who's pregnant, but. But I think a lot of times when I talk about like we're pregnant, me and Bradley, cuz it's like such a partnership. I truly would not be able to do half the things if I didn't have him. Whether it be like on an emotional level or like a physical level of just like the help that he brings. And I've been so blessed and I'm so thankful to have him that like, it really has been a cool partnership. And I think expressing that gratitude to him every single day and like also knowing that we joke about, you know, you're having like mood swings or you don't eat and then they're the ones that are really having to like take the blunt end of that.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
And I know that that can be hard whether if it's whoever in your life that is like the closest person to you, you know, a friend, a parent, a grandparent, like whoever it is in your life that's really like riding with you through this experience. And for me, that's Bradley. And every single day I'm like, I need to just remind myself, even if I'm having a tough time or like things are rocky, just to be so grateful to this person and express that like they're doing so much for me, you know, just like the little things and. And then also like prioritizing our marriage and not just making this whole thing about like survival, you know, like even today I literally, Bradley texted me like an hour ago and was like, can we go on a date? Like, I just haven't like spent time with you, you know, and we're both working and have busy schedules and then on top of it, like half the time when you're done with your day, you're like, I just want to sit on the couch and do nothing. Which I feel like is so fun for us. We love it. But also like still having those moments to prioritize the person that you're with and making sure that they feel validated and they feel love and they feel seen. So that's been like a Cool learning experience for us.
Taylor
Yeah. I've had a little bit of anxiety. Anxiety recently about, like, my brain finally, like, computing that. Like, I guess not computing, but really realizing, like, how different things.
Natasha
Yeah.
Taylor
Are about to be. Like, Taylor and I yesterday were, like, sitting down and watching tv, and I was like, what do you. Like, what will we be doing right now? Like, you know, if baby was here? Like, what. Like, what will that look like?
Amy
So true.
Taylor
And it's like, fun. Like, once I voiced it, actually yesterday, after I voiced it, it was like. Yeah, it was more. Like, it sounded more fun to me. Like, it was less like of an anxious. Like, oh, no, this is coming. Yeah. Once I got it out of my head and like, said it out loud, because the anxiety in me is like, you know, things are going to change. What is this going to look like?
Tasha
How is this going to work?
Taylor
Blah, blah, blah. Like, all of this stuff. And I think that's just like.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
I thought that my hormones are putting in my head that I need to just not see, think about until.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
That time comes. Because it's literally we're not gonna know. We're not gonna remember any different. Literally, like how we can't remember things from first trimester. I just feel like that's what it's gonna.
Amy
That's true. Yeah. I found myself getting, like, emotional about it's just like, never gonna be just us two again, you know? Like, I was thinking about, like, we're starting to plan, like, our baby moon, and I'm like, that's gonna be our last trip together. Like, that makes me emotional, you know? And I'll, like, start crying if I think about it too hard. Or, like, just like our date nights, just him and I, or like, us going to the movies. It's like we're not really going to be able to go to the movies anymore together without getting like a babysitter or something, you know, I'm like. I mean, it's all, like, happy, you know, it's all, like, good things, but
Taylor
it's just, like, unknown.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
I think that's what it. Like where this society.
Amy
End of an era.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
Which is crazy.
Tasha
Start of a really great one, but
Amy
a start of a really great one. It's a good thing. It's just, like, emotional.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah.
Taylor
That's so true.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Do you have anything else you're gonna.
Natasha
No, I was just gonna say, like, I. I struggle with that a lot too. It was never really, like, in my brain until the past, like, two months or something. Just kind of Seeing shifts happening or like, what the future is going to be like, because Bradley and I, we haven't even been married for a year, so it's like, we really haven't. We've had a lot of alone time, but like, we've been so excited to become parents. But yeah, I think you're just anxious about the future. But I think it's really fun to also have friends that are in the same season of life as you because then you could go like, hey, I need a date night, Can I drop my baby off? Or like, you know, you have your parents or you have people that are willing to help you. And like, if we're all in it together, then it just becomes this community of like making it through and making it accessible for everyone to like, still prioritize the different things in their life, whether it be just like work or, you know, literally a self care day if we all needed to go and get a massage or like, just to go on a walk together. Like, it's just nice to be in community and have people around you that are like, I get it, you guys have your day, we'll have our day. Like, you know, I just think that's really. And I'm lucky that I have you guys.
Taylor
Yeah. So someone asked, what's the best part of having friends that are pregnant at the same time as you? I think it's that it's honestly, like.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
It's so crazy to think that, like, we're gonna be like, going through this together, like, literally for like the next 20 years. Like, this is like.
Amy
No, it's not like. Yeah, exactly. It's not like just pregnancy. We're like supporting each other.
Taylor
Like me, because you're.
Amy
I know. We're stuck with each other.
Taylor
We're stuck.
Amy
Yeah. No, we get to like, go through like the newborn phase and then like them walking and them starting to talk and like all that, like going on vacations together, like, it's just gonna be like, so fun.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
Going through like every stage together.
Taylor
Yeah. And I'm so grateful to you because I feel like the three of us just like mesh really well together too.
Amy
I feel like our personalities are like, similar.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah,
Natasha
true.
Taylor
Are you eavesdropping? Taylor's eavesdropping from outside. Just cut that out. Unless the mic picked it up.
Amy
I hope it did. That's so good.
Taylor
No, but it's honestly like being pregnant. Like, the best thing I feel like, is us just having our group chat, being able to like, ask questions or to be like, vent about Symptoms? Have your nipples changed? What's the cellulite like? Like, there's, like, shoulder hair. Yeah. Literally. Like, there's just, like, so many things.
Natasha
I mean, no, like, Taboo Topic. There's nothing. It's, like, off limits.
Taylor
No, we literally text each other and be like, when's the last time you guys had sex? Like, it's just, like, there's literally. And it makes nothing.
Amy
Is TMI with us? Yeah. It's so good.
Taylor
You need that.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Really bad. I. I'm sure there's, like, we should link some, like, mom, like, support groups. I mean, our comment sections are gonna be mom support groups, but, like, if you don't have friends, I would say, like, go out and find those little. Like, I had. I have a few friends that have told me, like, there's cute little things of, like, moms meeting in the park or, like, dear little, like, the birthing classes and things like that, like, finding moms, other moms. Because I think that it's one thing to have. You know, we've talked about how supportive our husbands are, and they, I think,
Tasha
listen to us very well, and they
Taylor
support us and, like, emotionally very well. But there really is just something to voice. Something, like, when I was struggling with whatever, it was, like, voicing it to you guys and knowing that you completely understand fully what I'm going through. Because, like, Taylor is the most supportive person, but, like, he hasn't physically been pregnant. So, like, when I'm seeing myself, you know, naked in the mirror and crying because I'm like, who. Who is this person? Like, what happened to my body? Like, he can only kind of, like, support me through that. When you guys have, like, literally walked through it and you're like, no. Like, I completely. Even if there's no. Like, there doesn't even. I feel like majority of the time, we're not even giving each other advice. We're just like, yeah, same. Like, exactly. Like, that's just having someone to listen to that. Yeah, it's really nice.
Amy
Yeah. No fear and I have been doing these, like, weekly photos, like, every. Every Saturday, like, every week of the pregnancy. Pregnancy. And lately I've just been, like, not wanting to do them. I'm just, like. I get, like, so upset about it. I'll literally tear up. You know, fear is like, why are you getting upset about it? Like, let's just do it. Like. And I had to, like, explain to him. I'm like, it's so hard to see her body change like that, you know? And then once I explained it to him, he understood. But it's like you never see your body change so rapidly and so fast until, like, you go through pregnancy.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
It's like, so crazy. And it's not just like your belly. It's like everything in your body changes. Like, your hips get wider, your thighs get bigger, your feet, your arms, the
Taylor
swelling, the ankles, My lack of ankle.
Amy
Double chin.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
Like, literally every part of your body changes, and it's so hard to see, but it's also, like, such a beautiful thing. You just have to, like, change your mindset.
Taylor
Yeah, I know. I feel like I'm going to look back at my pregnancy and wish I would have done bump stuff because I've taken maybe one bump photo and I do. I think I'm going to look back and be like, I should have done that. But I know right now in this moment, that's not like, do it.
Amy
Your next pregnancy.
Taylor
What I need. I know I'll do it for the next one because I know I'll know.
Natasha
Like, I'm sure there's, like, a ton of things we're going to do in the next pregnancy that'll be different from this one after having, you know, and like, each machine.
Amy
Yeah. Mm.
Taylor
Definitely.
Tasha
For sure. There's something about summer that genuinely changes kids. You send them off in June as one person, and then by the time August rolls around, they're completely different versions of themselves. Something shifted. New interest, new energy, new vibe. And Ross gets that. Which is exactly why it's a go to for back to school shopping. I think back to my own summers growing up, and that transformation was happening every single year. There was a summer I got really into music. The summer I found a real friend group that actually felt like my people.
Taylor
The summer I started figuring out my
Tasha
own sense of style instead of just wearing whatever. Those months have this way of shaping you in ways you don't even fully realize until you're standing in front of your closet and going, who am I this year? And now I'm about to become a mom. So I'm already thinking about all of that for my kids someday. Those moments where they get to express who they're becoming. And I want to make that as fun as possible and as easy as possible. Ross has absolutely everything you need. Clothes for every kid, every style, school supplies, dorm room decorations. If you're heading off to college, whatever version of themselves your kid comes home from summer as Ross has that, look for it at 20 to 60% off other retailers prices. So you're not having to stress about budget while they figure out who they are. What I also love is that there's genuinely no pressure when you shop there. It's not like you have to commit to one look or one thing. You you can grab a few different things, try out a couple of different directions, and let your kid figure out what exactly feels like them. That's what Back to School should feel like. Exciting, not stressful. Ross makes it easy to say yes to more without having to overthink it. Find your nearest Ross@rosstores.com Some of my favorite memories are Back to school shopping. There was just something about a brand new set of supplies, a fresh folder. It felt like a reset every year. And now that I'm about to have my own kid, I've been thinking about those moments a lot. And Staples is where that's happening. It's the most wonderful time of the year at Staples when Back to School rolls around. Summer is beautiful and chaotic and full and by the end of it everyone, kids and parents alike, are quietly desperate
Taylor
for a routine again.
Tasha
Back to school is that Reset and Staples makes the whole thing so much easier. You want it to feel fun for your kid, not like a choreography. And Staples actually pulls that off. They have personality filled supplies with character favorites Bluey, hello Kitty, Spider man. The ones that make a kid genuinely excited to pack their backpack. That part matters more than people give it credit for. And then the practical side, you can shop directly from your kids teacher's list so there's zero guesswork in the aisle. School supplies start at just 25 cents. Plus there are great deals on laptops and tech for the older kids too. If you're the type to wait until the night before. No judgment because Staples has 30 minute in store pickup so you can still get it done without the stress spiral. They're stocked all season long too, which is huge because back to school genuinely never happens in one trip.
Taylor
Life gets in the way, things get
Tasha
forgotten and Staples is just always there when you need to loop back to shop the most wonderful deals for school. Check out staples.com thesqueeze Sleep has taken on a whole new meaning for me lately because being pregnant, getting comfortable at night is genuinely mainly a project and having a mattress that actually works with your body instead of against it has made such a difference. And my Brooklyn Bedding mattress has been a lifesaver during this season. What I love most about Brooklyn Bedding is that it's not some mass produced situation. Every mattress is designed and assembled in their Arizona factory by a family run company that started from Nothing. A guy named John built the whole thing from the ground up, learned to trade himself and and is still family run today. You can feel that kind of care in the quality. Brooklyn bedding is also one of the only few mattress brands endorsed by the American Chiropractic association for spinal alignment and back health. Which, honestly, when you're growing a human, is exactly what you need to hear. Your body needs real support to actually recover overnight and this mattress delivers that. And honestly, the thing that keeps coming back to me is just how much sleep affects everything else. Your mood, your energy, how you feel in your body day to day. It's one of those investments that touches literally every part of your life. And Brooklyn betting makes it one you don't have to overthink. Plus, there's a 120 night comfort trial, so you have more than enough time to know it's the right one for you. Go to BrooklynBetting.com and use my promo code squeeze at checkout to get 30% off site wide during the summer sale. That's BrooklynBetting.com and promo code squeeze for 30 off site wide, exclusive with my code BrooklynBetting.com promo code squeeze.
Taylor
This is something that I've actually been learning more about and Natasha can definitely speak towards this more because she has done it. But pelvic floor physical therapy, I feel like I've had a few people ask me if I've done it, but I've also had people tell me that I definitely should be doing it. And I guess I didn't really know, like, what exactly, um, it was, but Tosh had went to an appointment and was the first one of the group to test it out. If you want to share, like, what it is and how your experience was.
Natasha
Yeah, I honestly just wanted to be as prepared as possible. Like, I totally get that my birth plan could go sideways and I'm okay with that, but I also just want to be like, as physically prepared as I can be. And I had asked on my Instagram for some pelvic floor exercises because I feel like my feet is just flooded with them. I don't know if you have that, but I had an overwhelming amount of people tell me to go see a physical therapist, like, specifically for pelvic floor work. So I saw somebody and they have helped me with, like, breathing exercises and just different things around my body and preparing for birth. And I know that those things will change the further that I get into my pregnancy, especially, like at the end of the third trimester and stuff like that. And then Also having, like, Bradley come to those appointments with me and being able to understand, like, what that looks like and helping me when I am in labor or, like, when I'm gonna give birth. But, yeah, I. There's, like, so much to learn. It's overwhelming. And I actually found it nice to go to somebody.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
And not, like, try to do the research, because I literally feel like all I do every single day is researching everything possible of how to prepar and what I should be doing or what I shouldn't be doing. So having someone just kind of, like, lay it out for me and give me a plan was really helpful. I loved it.
Taylor
Yeah. No, that's so good. Yeah. There's definitely, like, so much.
Amy
Yeah.
Tasha
On the Internet, my biggest thing has
Taylor
been, like, the hip stretching.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
That's something I want to start, like, doing more of. Is the, like, mobility stuff. Yes. Of it all.
Amy
Sure. I literally did it yesterday.
Taylor
Oh, you did?
Amy
Yeah, for, like, the first time, so it's funny.
Taylor
That's good.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
You just, like, find a video and you were just copying some of the stretches. Yeah.
Amy
I just saw someone, like, on Tick Tock say that they started, like, doing these, like, hip stretches, and my hips were literally, like, cracking and popping.
Natasha
Same.
Amy
And I was like, okay, I need to, like, do this way more.
Natasha
When I was trying to stretch, literally touching my toes, I'm like, I could barely do this. I know.
Taylor
I know.
Amy
So, so crazy. Yeah. I mean, we used to be dancers. Like, I don't know. Yeah. I can't even imagine, like, doing a split right now, but.
Taylor
Yeah, no, that's not going to.
Amy
But, yeah. I definitely want to try the pelvic floor floor therapy. I need to do that.
Tasha
No, that's great.
Taylor
I feel like that was, like. It definitely is a little overwhelming with how many things.
Amy
There's so many things there are out there.
Taylor
I think that's been one of the biggest things. I'm actually surprised by my lack of, like, research that I've done for some reason, because I've been kind of crazy. Like, I. Normally I am a little crazy with, like, being prepared.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
But.
Amy
Well, I think it's because we have so much. Well, it feels like we have so much time, you know?
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
It's like, until our due months, you know?
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
I feel like in the last month, you're gonna go. You're gonna get everything done.
Natasha
Yeah. The other thing I will say is when I did my first appointment, and a lot of the things that we were talking through came from, like, an anxious standpoint. And you're breathing here because you know that, like, but you need to be breathing from here, and this will help you and you push and, like, all these things. And I think for me, if I was to get anything out of going to a PT or, like, doing these exercises, I hope that it just gives me confidence, like, because at the end of the day, I cannot control what happens in the delivery room or, like, throughout my whole pregnancy, I can do all the things and it's still going to turn out xyz.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
So I think for me, in going, like, if it just gives me the confidence to, like, give birth and be okay with what's going to happen, then great. But, like, if you already have that, then I'm not. I'm not. Like, you need to go and really be researched and, like, get physically prepared because everyone's going to have a different experience. But I think for me, like, it's literally, if it is all placebo, I'm down for it. Like, if it's just giving me a little bit of confidence, then that's, like, all I need, you know, I'm so
Taylor
game for a placebo. I love. Love all the fufui things. I'm. That's. I think it's good. Pregnancy pillow or what products would you recommend? I'm trying to think of, like, definitely
Amy
loving my pregnancy pillow.
Natasha
Loving my pregnancy pillow.
Amy
It's gotten hard.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I feel.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I'm trying to, like, not sleep on my back, and that's so hard to do without a pregnancy pillow, you know, because I'm a. I'm naturally a back sleeper.
Taylor
Okay.
Amy
So, like, I will just, like, naturally just, like, roll over onto my back. But the pregnancy pillow, like, avoids that. And it's just so comfy. But I will say, my husband hates it. And my dog hates it.
Natasha
My husband hates it, too.
Taylor
He's like, I can't touch you in bed.
Natasha
There's, like, a barrier.
Amy
Yeah. Yeah.
Taylor
And you have, like, the full body, like, side.
Amy
Okay.
Taylor
Yeah, I just have one that looks
Tasha
like a really long sausage.
Taylor
Like, it's just like this, like, round little thing, because I have that on one side and then a pillow on the other side. Okay.
Amy
I was gonna ask, what do you put on the other side?
Natasha
I was doing that with my pillows where I would just put it, like, on the side that I was sleeping for my bel.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
But then I would roll over and I'd be on my back and I'd wake up and I'm like, I shouldn't be on my back. So then When I got the pregnancy pillow, it literally.
Taylor
I will.
Natasha
I'm such a mover when I sleep. Like, I'm rolling over all the time. Belly, stomach, backside, whatever. And with the pregnancy pillow, it just keeps me in line. Like, it doesn't let me roll either way. So I'm like, I'm on board for it.
Taylor
Yeah. Yeah, I am probably. Maybe by the time this is out, I've made the switch. I technically have one. I just haven't. I also haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if I.
Amy
You're gonna sleep so much better with it. Yeah. You really will.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
It's not the cutest thing on the bed.
Taylor
Like, I can't lie.
Amy
No. It's massive. It literally takes up the whole bed. Yeah. It's so good.
Natasha
The most aesthetic thing. But, like, I have gotten great sleep.
Taylor
You gotta do it. You gotta do what you gotta do. Yeah. Other pregnancy products. I'm trying to think my little smelly thing. My nausea.
Amy
Oh, yeah, that's good.
Taylor
That's a good one. I've literally have not shut up about on social media that in my cold cap for my migraine. Yes. Because I believe in still now that I'm not. Like. Because I was using that even when I was just hot in the first trimester. Like, I feel like I was so. I'm still warm, but I feel like first trimester. I was like every night I needed that thing just on me because I was overheated.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
But now it's a nice. I'll like lay it on my chest or like, I still use it even if I don't have a migraine.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
So that I think those two.
Amy
You got me to get one. Yeah. It's genius.
Taylor
Honestly, they're really like.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
The best things.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
I'm trying to think.
Amy
What is that?
Natasha
Is that sugar? No, it's lime.
Taylor
Oh, sour
Amy
packet.
Natasha
No, it's like true lime, but it's literally it. Anything sour makes you not vomit, so.
Amy
Oh, my God. Do you feel sick?
Taylor
Okay, well, we can pause.
Natasha
No, no, I'm fine. I'm sick. 247 fine. I just needed a little something.
Taylor
I was like, what are you digging?
Amy
Well, that's one of her. That's one of her pregnancy products.
Natasha
Yeah. Live True lime.
Amy
I've never even heard of that.
Natasha
It's so good. Oh, my gosh. I. I saw this somewhere and I. My mother in law ordered it for like, she'll have. I don't know what soda. Like me. I'm just making up like a Coke. And then I was like, you should put this in. It's like a Coke lime. And all of us are obsessed. It is, like, the best thing ever. I have a couple packets in my.
Amy
Okay, great.
Natasha
That's so good. It's literally just crystallized lime.
Amy
Oh, my gosh.
Taylor
Yeah. I think those would be, like, the biggest.
Amy
Yeah. Pregnancy must haves.
Taylor
Yeah. At least for, like. Because now I kind of feel like I'm leveled out. Like. Yeah. I don't need as many as the little. Like, I don't need knickknacks. Yeah. Like, I was eating, like, the portable fan. Like, I was eating, like, everything.
Amy
The only, like, other thing is, like, just, like, a belly. A good belly oil. Like, no matter, like, which one you want to use, there's so many out there. But definitely just, like, moisturizing your belly and your boobs and your hips and your butt.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Honestly, from, like, day one.
Taylor
Yeah. Like, you got me on that early.
Amy
Yeah. I started it really early because I was like, I've heard that it matters, like, how early you started.
Taylor
You got me on early, and you got me more consistent.
Amy
Yeah.
Natasha
No, literally, when I was, like, four weeks pregnant. No.
Amy
Every single day, I started really early.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
Honestly, like, every time I go into the bathroom, I'm just. Just, like, oiling up my belly.
Natasha
If I feel it and it's just a little, like, it's not, like, dry, but if it's not, like, lathered in oil, I'm like, all right, time to get it going.
Amy
Sometimes, like, I'll actually feel my belly even get, like, a little itchy because it's, like, stretching.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
I'm like, oh, I need to, like, oil it up.
Taylor
Yeah. But, yeah, I know I haven't had that yet. My mom is actually asking me if I've been itchy, but I haven't been.
Amy
Yeah, it's.
Taylor
Yet. Knock on one.
Amy
Yeah, it's kind of slowed down. I feel like maybe because I'm oiling
Taylor
more, maybe I was itchy earlier on and I didn't realize I was.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
What about clothing?
Tasha
Maternity clothes?
Taylor
Where? What?
Natasha
Who?
Taylor
When? Why? People are asking.
Natasha
Okay, wait. I kind of want to talk about this, because I am a little bit confused, and maybe this is. Every pregnancy is different, but so many people were like, don't buy maternity clothes. And just, like, you can work around your style and have clothes that you can wear for after. Which I do get. But everything that I'm buying is, like, four sizes up. So to me, I'm like, then what's. What's. The difference if I buy something that's maternity. Because all my jeans right now are literally four sizes that I normally am. And I know when I go back to not being pregnant, I'm sure I'm just gonna go back to my regular jeans and these are gonna be, yeah. Not fitting. So I do. I am a little bit confused on that whole. Like, I thought about that too, whatever. But like literally six weeks in, I was already like, I gotta buy new stuff. We would always talk about it, like we need to just go shopping for new tops, new jeans, stuff like that. But yeah, I feel like going through so many. I'm at like a good space now. Like I figured out my size and I'm, I'm walking through my clothes.
Amy
But agree though, like, not even just pants, but like even dresses. Like, dresses like I'm like normally a size small, but now I'm needing like a medium or a large. And I'm like, when I go, hopefully I can get back to my pre pregnancy weight. Like after I'm like, I'm not going to be wearing what I'm saying, medium large dresses. You know, hopefully I'll get back to like my regular sized clothing for me.
Taylor
I know.
Amy
So, yeah. I don't understand. But.
Natasha
And also something that I would recommend to anybody who is experience body. Body changes early. Because I also know that there's a lot of people and we know people that they don't have body changes until you're like eight, nine months pregnant. Yeah. But get new sizes early.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Do not try to fit in your old clothes. Because that actually sent me into the
Taylor
tortured spiral of my life.
Natasha
Like, because I think I heard people being like, don't buy maternity clothes. Just like wear your jeans low rise or like wear this as a crop top or whatever. And I'm like, yeah, nothing's fitting it. Like I'm like coming out of my clothes.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
And I wish I just started wearing bigger sizes sooner because the second I did, my confidence went way up because I'm like, oh. I'm like still cute, you know?
Taylor
Like totally.
Natasha
I'm wearing a different size. That doesn't matter. But it's clothes that actually fit me.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
You know, no one knows what size clothes you're wearing. Like no one knows if you're wearing a size large shirt and no one cares, you know, like the only person that knows is you. And it's like, where are the clothes?
Natasha
Nothing worse than feeling like you're constricted in your clothes. Bra, underwear, like literally even my underwears. And I'm like, the second I get into my actual size, I'm like, wow, I feel so much better. I literally don't feel fat. I just feel like now they're my size and it's, like, working for me. But same thing. I was trying to fit into everything that is no longer my size, and it didn't matter that it was bigger. It's just the second I put on something that actually fit, I'm like, wow, I feel amazing now, you know?
Taylor
No, I feel like I've definitely learned, like. Like, I'm wearing, like, jeans with, like, the elastic, like, a stretchy waistband, like, knowing to buy those. Knowing, like, underwear that I've bought. Like, because I tried to size up, but it had, like, lace on it. So there was, like, a restriction of, like, where the lace met the cotton. So now it's like, only, like, the no show fabric because that stretches and that will.
Natasha
Yeah.
Taylor
Like, be able to stretch with me.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
So finding those fabrics, I think has really helped with. With the pants and, like, something with drawstring, like, getting a little bigger and having the drawstring and having stretch. Yeah, yeah. Is really.
Tasha
Has been really helpful for me.
Amy
And you don't need to spend, like, a ton of money on it, you know, like, go to, like, Target Old Navy. Yeah. I even saw someone say that H and M has, like, a really good, like, maternity clothes section, but it doesn't, like, feel like maternity clothes. So I want to look into that because I feel like they have, like, really cute stuff that's, like, for an affordable.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Price point.
Natasha
Something I also feel like we could take into our next pregnancy is knowing what we feel comfortable in. Because I really thought, like, I was gonna love being in dresses, and maybe I just haven't hit, like, the part of summer yet where I'm, like, really excited to be in long, flowy dresses. But jeans and a top have felt way more comfortable to me than, like, wearing a flowy dress, you know? And I think if you're gonna spend money on a new wardrobe or, like, a couple new staple pieces, find the things that, like, you either want to invest in if they are more expensive or, like you said, I've literally been shopping at Target and Old Navy, and I'm obsessed. Like, I love my whole wardrobe. I think it's the cutest stuff ever, but I just know, oh, like the low rise jeans and, like, a cute little belly tee that makes me the most confident. So I will know in my next pregnancy that, like, that's probably what I'll end Up spending my money on. And if I change my mind, like, of course. But I was, like, stocking up on all these dresses and then kind of realizing, like, it's, like, not what I'm in the mood to wear, you know, so just like. Yeah. Don't put expectation on, like, what you should or shouldn't.
Taylor
Yeah, putting.
Amy
For sure.
Taylor
Yeah. That's very true. How much of your babies do you think you guys will share online? We were just talking about this the other day.
Natasha
I think.
Taylor
I think it's something that we're. I mean, I'll speak for myself that I think I'm just gonna kind of figure out as I go.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Because, yeah, I think there's pros and cons to every option, so it is really just whatever. And this is something, too, that I think, you know, we are so quick to judge people that, like, do you show their kids or judge people that don't show their kids? It's just, like, something the Internet has had an opinion about. But that's something I really think is just, like, up to the discretion of the parent.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
So I think you, like, don't really know how you feel about it until, like, your baby's here.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
You know, and until you're, like, in that moment of deciding whether or not to post.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
But everyone's different. Yeah. I don't know.
Natasha
My best friend before she was pregnant, she was super adamant about not showing her baby and was like, I. That's not something I'm comfortable with. And then the second she gave birth, I feel like I just see her baby all the time. And, like, obviously I love it because, you know, she's my favorite thing, but she was like, I just didn't know I would feel that way. And my opinions changed. So I feel like I'm just trying to go into it, kind of like, whatever I'm feeling, if I'm not interested in it, I won't do it. If I am, I will. And also, I think doing it for me and not because I feel pressured either way to, like. Because I do feel for a while, I was almost pressured to not. And then you have people that are on the other end of the spectrum and, like, just the opinions of others and, like, realizing if I'm not gonna show my baby, it's because these are the reasons that I feel uncomfortable or if I want to. These are the reasons I feel comfortable. Not because anybody's telling me I should or shouldn't.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
You know.
Taylor
Yeah. No, that's a great. That's A great way to go into it.
Tasha
Is there a tradition from your childhood
Taylor
that you're excited to do with your baby? Is there anything you've, like, thought about doing? I know for me, like, I'm excited to do, like, matching pajamas. Like, cute. Like we. That we always do that. So that I'm, like, excited, like, don't know to do. I know that's cute. I know if there's like a birthday or. Yeah. Holiday. I'm trying to think if there's like, any other, like, tooth fairy. Like, I haven't even. I've never even liked, thought about, like, what, like, that would look like.
Amy
Yeah. I mean, my husband is Jewish, so he never grew up with Santa. But I mean, if there's anyone. Any kids listening, don't tell them to go away. But, like, I definitely want to do the whole Santa Claus thing with our kids, even though, like, we're all technically Jewish. Like, I'm like, it's for the tradition of it.
Taylor
Yeah, yeah.
Amy
And of course, the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
All of it. Yeah.
Tasha
Yeah.
Natasha
I feel like there's so many things that, that are traditions that you don't even realize are. Because they're so normalized in your head of like, this is just what my family has done. Bradley and I talk about that all the time because both of our families have such, like, specific ways of doing family activities or like Christmas or birthdays or whatever. But they're so normal to us.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Individually. But you're like, I don't. That's not like a tradition. But it is a tradition that's, like, unique to my family. So I feel like I'll figure those things out once they come. But everything in my head right now is like, well, that's not like, special, but it is.
Taylor
Yeah, yeah.
Amy
No, I know. And I think it's special to, like, make your own traditions.
Natasha
Yeah.
Amy
Too. Like, once you have your kids and start to, like, experience those, like, holidays and birthdays and everything. Just like, making your own.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
It's so crazy. What are you doing for self care during your pregnancy? Anyone listening to this podcast knows I talk about self care way too much because it's the most important thing, I think. But finding things for self care has, like, was a little difficult, I think, in the beginning, especially when you're just feeling so, like, down bad. But I think I've been. I've been trying to be really consistent about, like, lymphatic massages for me because I'm already, like, swelling a lot. So that's something I'm trying to like be consistent with. Because I. It feels like so much better do that. Yeah.
Amy
Yeah. You've also been good about reading more lately and that self care.
Taylor
I haven't really good about reading.
Amy
What have you been reading today?
Taylor
A little too good. A little too good. No, my Kindle's been, it's. She's, she's had some timeouts because I just get so after we filmed our TikToks, I literally came home and read half of. Half of the book. Like I just like started it and.
Amy
Good. Thank God.
Taylor
I'm like. So Amy's been trying to get me to read books.
Amy
Yes. I've been trying to get her to read really long.
Taylor
So long. Finally off campus.
Amy
But she finally got hooked onto off campus.
Taylor
Yeah. Yeah, finally. Finally did it for me.
Amy
Yeah.
Taylor
Which is.
Amy
And I have so many more recommendations for you.
Taylor
Ready to be locked in.
Amy
When I was like if you really like hockey romance. I have so many recommendations in that genre so it's such so niche. No, I think reading is definitely my like top self care.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
Thing that I do for my, for myself. Like I'll like literally put my phone in timeout and I'm like I need to stop scrolling so much and I'll just read.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
But yeah, it's like a good thing to replace scrolling on social media with.
Taylor
For sure.
Amy
Yeah. So I like to read for like an hour in the morning and an hour at night and then throughout the day whenever I like feel like I'm on my phone too much, I'll read.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
And yeah. It's amazing. So good.
Natasha
Yeah.
Taylor
What would yours be?
Natasha
The gym.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
That's so good.
Taylor
Yeah.
Natasha
Yeah.
Taylor
Getting out and walking. I feel like you've been, you've also like, you have been very motivating to me to get out of the house. Like you're really good at like getting out and going and doing things and I feel like that's really good mentally.
Natasha
Yeah. I feel like the small parts of my routine before I was pregnant were so important to me and then when I like didn't have access to them or like didn't feel like doing them, it really flipped my life upside down because I'm such a routine based person. So like this trimester, going to the gym and like still having a lifting routine and still feeling like confident and strong in my body. And the funny thing is I feel like half of it. I, I know that I'm like strong and I know that I'm like putting work in the gym obviously, but I seriously feel like half of it is just my mentality going like, you did something good for your body today. And, like, that just made me feel happy. You know what I mean? So it's like just the little things that I can do for myself that boost my serotonin in any way.
Taylor
Yeah.
Amy
You're inspiring me.
Taylor
I know.
Amy
It's the last to get to the gym.
Taylor
Yeah. It's honestly just like getting those little things in that matter, because that's. That's like you. You just need. You need to kind of have some gratitude for the little things because for sure, pregnancy is hard, but I love that.
Tasha
Well, fun.
Taylor
Thanks for another episode of the Bump Club. Next time you guys see us, we will be bumping. There will be some bumps happening and Natasha will hopefully probably still be having a true line pack.
Natasha
Probably.
Taylor
Probably.

Host: Taylor Lautner (joined by co-host/husband Taylor Lautner, Natasha, and Amy)
Date: July 22, 2026
In this lively and honest episode of The Squeeze’s “Bump Club” series, host Taylor Lautner and her friends Natasha and Amy invite listeners into a raw, supportive, and often hilarious conversation about the realities of pregnancy. The trio share personal experiences, unexpected symptoms, body changes, food cravings (and aversions!), how pregnancy has affected their relationships, and the importance of building a supportive community. They candidly contrast their actual journeys with the often glorified expectations of pregnancy seen on social media and talk coping strategies for both the physical and emotional shifts of this unique time.
On the unexpected reality of pregnancy appearance:
“I thought I was going to feel beautiful and glowy…that feeling hasn’t been there.” – Taylor, [23:55]
On pregnancy cravings and restrictions:
“Are you doing brie? As if it was, like, a drug.” – Amy, [11:44]
On first trimester being hard:
“I had like, very little to almost zero joy. My spirit was depleted because of all of the physical aspects…” – Natasha, [24:35]
On partner support:
“I am like, he is my pregnancy craving. Like, I need him around all the time.” – Natasha, [26:07]
On confidence with body changes:
“Get new sizes early. Do not try to fit in your old clothes…second I did, my confidence went way up.” – Natasha, [59:31]
On support groups:
“Nothing is TMI with us…You need that, really bad.” – Taylor, [40:58]
The conversation is refreshingly raw, humorous, and honest, balancing self-deprecating humor with sincere camaraderie and vulnerability. The hosts openly share about the challenging, “less Instagrammable” aspects of pregnancy, using wit and warmth to normalize common fears and discomforts.
This episode of The Squeeze’s “Bump Club” is an inviting, unfiltered look at what pregnancy really feels like—physically, emotionally, and socially. With practical advice, must-have products, and an outpouring of honest, supportive conversation, Taylor, Natasha, and Amy make it clear: no, you’re not alone, and it’s OK if your pregnancy doesn’t match the highlight reels online. From body changes and cravings to self-care and relationship dynamics, they cover it all—peppered with laughter, a few tears, and plenty of solidarity.
