#006 - Join host Dr. Red Hoffman for a conversation with Dr. LJ Punch, self-proclaimed "trauma surgeon in recovery." LJ shares how his career as a trauma surgeon and now as community health provider was inspired by the desire to address human suffering. LJ is the Medical Director of The T (a holistic harm reduction program) and the founder of the Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC).

A bullet related injury is the physical, mental, social, and spiritual impact of a bullet, whether you are physically injured, threatened by a bullet, or someone you love has been lost. LJ and his team are creating language, scales, tools, indices, and protocols that will eventually encompass a new medical subspecialty.
