network is busy See Terms Man Last week I had an opportunity to speak at my church, Union Church, one of the best churches in the United States of America, heck, better yet, the world. And I spoke from the subject of I'm working too hard for this. I normally don't come on the podcast and normally on the show to have a conversation about what I talked about at church. But God really gave me something that I believe that I need to break down even more for the body of Christ. So today's episode is going to be a little bit different because this is specifically speaking to Christians, people who believe in God, on how we need to handle our finances. This I'm going to link the sermon. I really want you to go back and to watch the sermon because that's going to be a little bit more spiritual, more heavy on the scripture, right? And today I'm going to break down the scripture. But I really want to break this down even more because one of the biggest things that I struggle with within a financial literacy space and within a personal financial space as a Christian is I'm always dealing with Christians. Like I'm in churches and I'm at conferences and sometimes I get to push back like, well, I don't have to have a budget because I I prayed And I believe and, and, and, and I don't have to have the perfect credit score because I just prayed and I'm believing it. I have faith in God. And, and over the last 15 years, I've been struggling with that statement as a Christian. Like, is there, like, God? Why in the world do I just hear so many broken Christians saying, I'm praying, I'm praying. They're speaking in tongues, they're quoting scriptures. They're believing God for the miraculous. And I'm like, God, but this is why they're broke. This is why they're broke. And he brought me over to Haggai and gave me something that was amazing, that I believe. As Christians, when we're dealing with our finances, we got to look at our finances through the faith, faith lens. Let's go over here to the scripture. Haggai, chapter one. And Ed, put this up on the screen so they can see it some kind of way. Haggai, chapter one, verse five. I'm reading from the niv version now. This is what the Lord almighty God says. Give careful thought to your ways. Paul's right there. That's verse five. Give careful thought to your ways. Hey. What? God is saying, hey, yo. You need to really think carefully about what you're doing. You need to think carefully about what you're doing with your money, with your life, with your business, with your mind, with your relationships. God is saying, hey, whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute. Give careful thought to your ways. Why? Because you have planted much, but you've harvested almost nothing. Uh oh. So what you're doing is not working. You eat, but you never have enough. Wait a minute. You're going grocery shopping, but you don't have enough money to buy the things that you really need. Give careful thought to your ways. Uh oh. You drink, but never have your cup filled. You put on clothes, but you still warm. You still not warm, you're cold. Now here. Here is where we're going to live at today. You earn wages, you get a paycheck only to put them in a purse and a bank account with holes in it. What is this saying? That you can believe in God, you can honestly love God, but if you're not looking at your money through the faith lens, you're going to be broke because you're going to get the check. And when you get the check, you're going to put it into your purse. Ladies, you're going to put it into your wallet. Brothers, you're going to put it into your bank account. And this is Going to go through it because you have holes in it. And I said, well, God, how is this even possible if people of faith are believing in you and trusting you and quoting scriptures and praying and believing? And God said, that's the problem. There still is a practical side of the finances. So God gave me this faith framework that I'm breaking it down today. But we just created this community called the Freedom Circle Community. And we're going to be revealing that more of how you can join this community of like minded individuals who want financial freedom and how we're going to hold each other accountable and how we're going to be meeting bi weekly and having conferences and really walk, walking through you some more on that to come. Because I really break down the faith framework inside of that. But today I'm going to break it down for you. All right, Two parts of faith. Faith is believing in something that you cannot see, that you trust God enough to believe that he could do the miraculous. But the scripture also tells us that faith is great, but faith without works practical is dead. So God gave him the faith framework. And I'm gonna break down. What does each letter in the word faith mean when it comes to our finances? Here's the very first letter, and that is first, I want you to get that first because here's what I need you to understand. God isn't trying to give you a bigger bag. He's not trying to give you a bigger account. What he's trying to do is close the holes. And that is currently in your life right now. And one of the holes that we have in our life is that we're not giving God his first. Listen, I don't have a church. You're not tithing to me. You're not tithing. And it benefits me and my company. No, I really want you to find a local church inside of your community and give. We got to get out, we got to get off the Internet. Because it bothers me when I hear people attack pastors and attack churches who are raising offerings, who are raising seed offerings. Because, ma', am, since I've left my previous situation, I have been a faithful tithe giver. And I want to give you all something that I couldn't say on stage, but that I could say here. That if it wasn't for me tithing, if it wasn't for me sowing seeds into my pastor's lives, into other pastors lives, into the church, watch this into people, I would not be where I am today, y'. All. For a season. I couldn't talk about certain things, and I couldn't do certain things, which made my money actually start off low. When I transitioned out, and one of my mentors came to me and said, man, this is the season where you got to trust God even more. Yeah, it was easy to tithe when you was making 2, 3, $400,000 a year, but when you're only making $2,000 a month, it ain't easy to tithe. It's like, but this is the test. This is when God sees, who do you really rock with? This is when God sees, who do you really trust? And what we tend to do is when things get hard, we tend to trust what we can see. But then, yet we want to say, we're faithful people, but how in the world are we faithful people? How. And God is not the priority. He gets our leftovers. Whew. But then, yet we want to get on our nerves when things get tough, when things get rough, and when our bank account is low and when we lose our job, what's the very first thing we do? We get in our cars and we cry. And we pray out to God, But our actions do not match our words. We're praying, God, God, God, God. But then when we get the money, where's God at? Nah. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Louis Gucci. Groceries, food, restaurants, dates, girlfriends, boyfriends, hair, nails, makeup, shoes. You name it. They go before the God who we just prayed to, asking God for the funds. Fam. You all know I talk about building wealth, paying off your debt, saving that emergency fund, finally getting some margin within your life, right? But here's something I do not talk enough about. And honestly, I'm about to. What happens when someone else tries to take what you've worked hard for real?

I know a God just recently was doing everything right. No. No debt, solid credit. And one morning, he gets a text that looks like his bank. Hey, suspicious activity on your account. Can you please confirm it's you? He clicks it. And within a matter of about 20 to 30 minutes later, about $15,000 is going from his savings. You see, that's not just a story about being careless. But it's not being careless. That's just where we are now. The FTC says that Americans lost almost $16 billion in fraud last year. Scammers don't need you to be rich. Let me tell you what they need. Distraction. Just for a split second. That's why I have to tell you all about my friends at cover on. It's not just another app that watches Your credit. Zcoveron monitors the dark web for your information, alerts you the moment something looks off. And this is the part that matters. If something goes wrong. They've got real financial backing behind up to $2 million for identity theft recovery. Up to $10,000 if you lose your money to a scam. Plus real people to walk you through step by step on how to fix it for as low as like $2.99 a month, depending on the planning issues. So listen, you didn't build this margin just to hand it to a stranger overseas. Protect your money. And protecting your money is a form of stewardship, too. So check out my friends at cover on. Go to Anthony O' Neill.com forward/cover on the link will be inside of the show description. Listen, go set it up today. Do not wait for something to happen. Prepare yourself today. My grandmother said it best. It's not a matter of if it's going to storm. It's just a matter of when. And the truth of the fact is, y', all, we're going to experience this one or two times throughout our life. Protect yourself. It's cheap. Check him out. And here's what I've learned. I said this in the sermon. You gotta go back and you gotta watch it. That whatever sits first in your life, it is gonna set up either a blessing or a curse for what's after that. So if God is first, watch this. God now has to get the glory for everything that's behind him. But if God is not first, he doesn't have to get the glory of that. So it's like, okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I said, God, I'm going to trust you. And for almost three and a half months, I wasn't making that kind of money, boy. I was still online smiling. I was still online dropping shows. But the whole time on the inside, I'm sweating. I'm. I'm nervous. I got team members who transitioned with me who believed in me, and I'm borrowing money from. Not borrowing money, Lord Jesus, I'm pulling money from my savings account, and I'm not seeing my checking account go up. But I trusted him because I believed that if I trust God, he could be the greatest, the greatest multiplier ever, ever, ever. And so what? I want to challenge you all today. On today's episode. Hear me clearly, because let's be real, y', all, you paying your tithe doesn't benefit me at all. You. You giving the church money does. You ain't giving me no money. And y' all, man. I'm gonna say this respectfully. We got so many. So many people have a microphone today who don't deserve a microphone, who do not understand the power of being obedient to what the word of God says, man. The word of God talks about sowing seeds. The word of God talks about giving tithe. The word of God talks about giving offerings. The word of God talks about being generous. So anybody who's going after pastors because they spend enough time or they spend time teaching this principle and saying, hey, God said so. This. I really do believe that God can tell a pastor to tell his people to. To sow a seed for a thousand, to sow a seed for five hundred, to sow a seed for five thousand. But when God is talking to the pastor, if you do not have the seed, God ain't talking to the pastor for you. There's been several times I've sat in the church and I heard the pastor say this. And I'm like, well, I ain't got it. Like, I genuinely don't have it to give or to sacrifice. So that's not for me. But can I be honest with you? There were several times in the church where God spoke to the pastor. And watch this. God even spoke to me. I want you to give $100 today. And at that season of my life, $100 would have stretched me. But watch this. It would not have put me in jeopardy to not be able to pay my bills, but it would have took money away from me to do what I wanted to do. And that was the sacrifice that God was calling me for because he wanted to see, am I going to put him first before my fleshly desires? Am I going to put him first before what I desire? So today I want to challenge you, man. If you don't have a church home, I want to personally invite you to Union Church. We have six locations in the DMV area, two locations in Charlotte. But we're online. And I firmly do believe that if you can trust God with the first 10%, if you can stretch yourself to trust God with the first 10%, watch him multiply your 90, because right now you're keeping 100 thinking, that's good. But what if God can make 90% more than what your 100% was? I'm going to challenge you this week. This week, just step out and give God his 10%. I'm not a prophet. I'm not going to say you give God 10% today. You're going to have a check in the Mail tomorrow? Heck, no. I'm not even going to sit here and say, you give God his 10% today. You be generous today, you're going to have a check next month. No, but what I can say is, if you trust God and follow his principles and keep him first as a priority, God going to show up right on time when you least expect it, and he going to blow your mind away. Faith F is first a is assignment. Here's what I've learned over my years of really evolving and growing in this space. Money is a terrible master, but if used properly, it could be an incredible servant. Master, meaning that it tells you what to do. Servant means you tell it what to do. And the majority of us live in money as our master. We don't really know what it's doing because we'll get up one day and look at our bank account statements and see that we spent $100 or $200 on DoorDash on getting food when we already had groceries inside of our refrigerator. And it's because we did not spend enough time to assign the 90% that God has trusted us with. Come here. Come here, Christian folks. Stop praying and asking God for a house that you can't afford and look at your freaking budget and assign and save. And you will not have to pray for a house, for a car, for some clothes, for some groceries, for. For some gas because you're stewarding and assigning your money. Well, since I've been doing this and living this life for the last 16, 17 years, man, my prayers have evolved. I've went from praying for a house to praying God. I want a multiplex. I want a complex of houses. I want a duplex, and it's not so I can get approved. God give me the financial means and resources to where I can properly afford that. I don't need to pray and ask God for a roof over my head when he's already given me the money. You know why? Because I'm stewarding and assigning the rest of the 90% that he trusted me with. We run away from the word budgeting, but the Bible clearly says count the cost. We run away from writing down the vision for our money. But then, yet, I'm sorry.

Body.

The body of Christ. We want to pray and ask him for more. We want to pray and say, God, God, give me more. But he's asking us, what did you do with the tax refund you just got in February? What did you do with the bonus check you just got? I'm about to go there and Some of y' all gonna get upset with me, but I love you. Ladies. What did you do with the money that your boyfriend or that the young man who you dating gave you? You just put it in your hair. You put it into your behind a purse, man. I was talking to one of my homegirls and she's dating a very successful, wealthy guy who she genuinely likes. And man, he gave her a check for $5,000. He said, Babe, go do what you want to do with this. I just want to be a blessing, sow a seed into your life. I said, oh, that's dope. I said, okay. She said, hey, yo, I've been following your content. And my girl said, girl, you can go get that purse that just came out. Da, da, da. And she said, nah, if me him don't want to work, I want to make sure watch this. And this is what she said, not what I said. I said, that's a different perspective. I said, I got to study that some more because you used the word steward. She said, I want to steward this relationship and this opportunity well, so if he gave me $5,000, she's putting that into her business. I said, oh, she took that $5,000 and put it into her marketing plan for her business. Not into her fleshly desires, not into her hair, not into her makeup, not into her looking better. She said, yo, wait a minute. If, if, if, if this is for a season, I'm going to leave this season better than the way I walked into it. So I'm going to add this to my budget for my business today. At the time of me recording this, I had to check it because I called her on my way here. I said, yo, sis, are you still with old dude? She's like, yeah, we're actually, you know, in a committed relationship and talking about marriage. Like, he hasn't proposed yet, but we're actually there. And I said, wow, wow. What are you doing with the 90% God has given you and are you assigning a dollar? Because money is going to do two things. It's either going to tell you what it did or it's going to do what you tell it to do. This is why we came up with the app called in the Black to help you assign the 90% God has trusted you with, man. We already have over thousands of users inside the app that's using it with the AI services. I want to highly suggest you that you go download this app and try the app for 90 days. Just do a three month subscription. I think it's like 49 bucks. Try assigning every dollar for the next 90 days, and I promise you, you're going to have a level of freedom that is so good, we're going to put that app in the show's description. All you have to do is go to anthonyonil.com Apple but inside of that app, inside of that budgeting app is also scriptures to help you understand why budgeting is important. And inside this app, we're going to help you. You're going to talk to the app. It's utilizing AI Took me about a year to build this thing to understand my philosophy of budgeting and assigning the money. And we're going to ask you some tough questions. And watch this. Every single day you wake up, you are going to be held accountable to the financial goals that you want to do. So we got faith. We got to give God his first. Now that we've given God his first, that leaves us with 90%. This means we got to assign the rest of the 90% and tell the rest of that money what it is going to do. And we help you really lay that out inside the app. This must need to go towards your bills. This much needs to go towards your mortgage, and this much needs to go towards this and that. We literally lay it down so you have it. But now as we're assigning, we have to be increasing. This is a hole inside of your purse, inside of your wallet. The reason why some of you are struggling right now is because two things. You're not assigning and you're not increasing. Hmm. That's the I inside of faith. Y' all see where we're going here? And the reason why I wanted to break this down even more is because, you know, I had to speak four different times. I really couldn't breathe a little bit. I really couldn't say the things I really want to say because I'm on a church pull pit, and that's my pastor's pull pit. I really want to respect the timing, but, y', all, we do not do a good job of increasing our money. And, And. And one of the reasons why I bring on Courtney on my show every single month is because the body of Christ, we have to get out of praying solely and believing for God for multiplication when God has given us resources and the tools and the gifts and the talents come on parables to multiply our money. And I think a lot of us right now are scared. We're seeing that interest rates are going up on mortgages. We're seeing that the stock market is going up and down, up and down. People bought space

People are scared and fearful and they're getting out man. Fear is the worst thing when it comes to your money. And I really do believe that God did not give us money to just sit there. I believe he said, hey listen, I want you to be a good steward and get this money that I'm giving you that I'm trusting you with and I need you to go multiply because multiplication is the only way you're going to be able to be a blessing to your children's children. Multiplication is the only way you're going to be able to be generous. Multiplication is the only way you're going to be able to build something of substance and really live the life that you want to live. Aren't you sick and tired of getting up every single day and exchanging eight hours of your day to get back $200? Aren't you sick and tired of waking up at 5am to go to work at 8, to get off at 5, to pick your kids up and be back home by seven and to be in the bed by nine o' clock and do that every single day? They say that the average man would die right around 77. In between 75 and 77. Let's talk brothers. So if we're going to die, let's say quote unquote in between 75 and 77, retirement is at 65. So I'm going to work all of my freaking life to only enjoy about 10 years of it. Heck no. That's not the life God wants me to have. God said I came to give you life and life more abundantly. What is abundant about struggling and living paycheck to paycheck for 65 freaking years to retire and to barely be living and to barely be making it. And the only way that we can increase our funds, the only way we can increase our funds is if we can get to a place to where we are strategic. Watch this. One of the key ways to increase our fund watch this is to decrease our spending. Because if we can decrease our spending, that creates room for a margin. We take that margin and we put it inside of a high yield savings account. So that way we're not going back to consumer debt. We take that margin and we put it inside of a Roth 401k so we can get the multiplication from our employers matches. We take that margin, we put that inside of a hsa, a health savings account. So this way now we're raising money and saving money for our medical needs down the road. We take that margin and we put that into another high yield savings. I'm about to teach you something here. And we let it sit there and we park that account and mark it as opportunities. What's an opportunity, Anthony? Another small business that may wants to sell to me, um, what's the opportunity? Maybe stocks that come up. What's the opportunity? Maybe a good opportunity to buy some land or buy some real estate because we got to put ourselves in position to where we can take our margin and go buy something that we now own. And if we don't Own anything. We're going to always be working for the rest of our life. Because if your income is not multiplying, if your money is not working harder than you, you are going to be working hard for the rest of your life. This is one of the seasons that I'm in increase. My company is doing well. I'm able to live the life that I desire to live. But I'm like, wait a minute, I still got to show up and record shows. I still got to get up and work. I still got to somewhat exchange my time to produce an income. I'm 42. I do not want to be doing that at 50. I'm praying that God allows me to live at least to 90 and 100. That's why I'm taking my health well. But in this season of my life, it is about how do I put money to the side to where I can put a certain kind of certain amount of money inside of my portfolio that I can pull from interest and I can live off of that for the rest of my life. I want to challenge you this year. Not this year, but on this episode, I want you to look back. What can you be doing now that generates a level of increase in your income? Some of us may need to go back and look at our budget inside the in the Black app and see where can we decrease so we can have a little bit of margin. If you can create $100 in margin, cool, great. I want you to put that inside of a high yield savings account. If you don't have a high yield savings account, I'm actually doing a show. I don't know if we put it out already, but we recorded it today as well. It's the top five high yield savings account on that show. I highly recommend go and look at which one actually works for you and your needs. Right? And then from there, open that up today, put $50 in it. If you can create a margin of $1,000, let's say you already have 36 months of your net pay set aside. You're already out of consumer debt. Take that thousand dollars, go open up another high yield savings account and put that money into that account for opportunities. Because y' all hear me clearly. I believe that the next wealth transfer is happening within the next five to 10 years and that if you're not in a position, you and your spouse are not in a position to go buy a business that is already designed and working well. It just needs fresh bloods, fresh thoughts, a fresh perspective. With AI and with tech now being Included into it, you can take that company to where it is today and multiply that by three over the next 12 to 24 months. But if you're not in position, if you're always paying back debt, if you're always trying to look good and you're not saving your money, y', all, you're never. You'll never increase. We talked about first for faith. Give God is first. You got to steward the other 90% by assigning every dollar. And inside that assignment, you should have an assignment for increase. But none of this works if you don't have a transformed mind. So T stands for continuing to evolve. AKA transformation is what T stands for. Transformation. Right. But you always got to be continuing to evolve. Someone asked me just the other day, anthony, why did you go back to school? And I said, I'm gonna be honest with you. It's easy to regurgitate the things that I've learned and the things that I've taught and the things that I see on YouTube. But I always want to be evolving. I always want to be transforming my mind and growing my mind and evolving. So I went back to school to get education, and every single day, man, I'm at Regent University, and it's is. They are stretching me. I thought once I almost fell to class, I'll be honest with you, But I was able to get in back into it and really get that grade up to a passing grade. But I wanted to make sure that I'm stewarding your ears. Oh. I wanted to make sure that I'm not just an influence that's selling y' all a course but not giving you no value and not giving you transformation. That is the main reason why we created the Freedom Circle, that we have a small group of people in it right now and giving us their thoughts on the trans. On the Freedom Circle. But eventually, I would love to see 10,000 of our community members inside of this circle. And we're doing small groups in this circle. We're having couple circles. We're creating a community that is continuing to transform their financial lives every single month. I don't want a community that's just there just to make money. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I want a community of individuals that, man, we're creating a legacy which leads me to the H, and we going to close this out. H is for heritage. That's faith. God created you not to just enjoy what happens while you're here, but he also created you to leave an inheritance to your children's children. Man, I have Four loving parents, man, that I love tremendously, but they couldn't give me a check for $100,000 when I graduated high school. Heck, let's be honest. Unfortunately, they were. They were not in a position to buy me a car if I'm going to go deep. They weren't even in a position to pay for all of my college. Yes, I was able to use my father's GI Bill, and yes, they was able to plug some things here and there, but they couldn't cut a check and say, hey, here you go. And one of the things that I've learned, and this is where I'm really at in this season of my life of being 42 years old, is that what am I doing to not just leave a check to my generation behind me, but how do I intentionally, at 42, position myself to set them up, to give them momentum? I'm tired as a black man seeing black families. When we die, when we move on, we're leaving our families with GoFundMe accounts. We're leaving our families with stress and with burden and trying to figure things out. Why in the hell do you have a BMW, a Mercedes Benz, a Rolex watch, a Louis Vuitton purse, but then you don't have. Watch this. You don't have things situated. I didn't get a chance to mention this at the church. I really want y' all to write this down because here's what heritage inside of faith actually means. There's three main things. Protection, paperwork, and preparation. Protection, paperwork, and preparation. Now, protection, I wrote it down here, is simply like, yo, if people require and depend on you, now, this is going to somewhat. Watch this. This is going to somewhat contradict the word of God, but I don't have a heaven or hell to put you in. So I'm not going to condemn anybody because I'm the last person to be condemning anybody. But let's be honest. This is why I'm grateful. I'm not a pastor. A lot of you all are living with your girlfriend or your boyfriend, and y' all ain't married. A lot of you all have kids, children with your significant other that you're not married to, and you live with them. Protection simply means that if someone is depending on you and your income, do you have life insurance put in place to where you can do that, to where they can be taken care of? What if something happens? Brother, you're living with your girlfriend. You're living with your girlfriend and with your son or your girlfriend and your child. And unfortunately, life Happens and you die today. Look at me, brother. I'm going to say this straightforward. How can you say you love them, but you have not put protection in place for them if something was to happen for you? So now they got to sell T shirts, and now they got to, you know, sell pizza. Now they got to do gofundmes to raise funds because you're gone. Let's go deeper, husbands. It is our responsibility to protect our wives and our children. You're driving a Mercedes, but you don't have the adequate amount of protection and AKA life insurance for your family. But yet you say that you love them. And I'm not saying that you don't. But love also means doing the things that is super uncomfortable. Because setting heritage into place. That is not a sexy conversation. That's not a sexy thing to do to go get life insurance, because watch this. Life insurance doesn't benefit you. It benefits the life of other people who you left behind. In life insurance. I'm going to do a whole nother show on this. You need to have at least 10 times your income for every child. You have at least $100,000 for school and whatever mortgage that you have and at least take care of that mortgage. Watch this. If you are renting an apartment, at least two years of whatever that rent is goes down to paperwork. Next, y'. All. If you don't have a will put in place, if you don't have an estate plan put into place, which is a trust power of attorney, man, you're. You're. You're leaving your family to argue over what you may want. One of my friends, he is a. He was a father. Unfortunately, he passed away five years ago, and he was living with his girlfriend. He had a son who was living with his mom, and he was doing pretty well for himself. Well, he didn't have a will put into place. He didn't have a trust. So he was living with his girlfriend, who he was not legally married to. And so the mother of his son was going after everything he had for the son. The family was thinking, you're not doing this for your son. You're doing this to benefit for you. But you're using your son in that place. Now, he and a girlfriend was together for four years. And I know, and I know I'm talking about girlfriend. I know he's saying, anthony, that's not biblical. I get it. But we have Christians who are doing this. I want to highly suggest. Listen to me clearly, man. If you're living, if you're shacking up from what my mom and my grandmama would say, hey, man, listen, we all know what the word of God says. Let's get right with the word of God. But I think as a non pastor, as a non person who has sheep, I have to speak from a practical and a real perspective. And a real perspective is this is what's happening. And at the end of the day, I'm sorry, deep Christian folks, these individuals still love God. I ain't no virgin and I still love God. So we can't just only talk to the ones who are doing it, quote unquote, from what we see on the outside. Right? Because I know a lot of married couples who they married, but they ain't living right. So hear me clearly. Just, just get what I'm saying. And because he didn't have the paperwork, the, the, the son's mother took her to court to fight. She depended on his income because they were living together. The mother wanted to fight both the, the son's mother and the girlfriend because the mother thought this is what he would want with his finances. So now, because unfortunately he's gone and he did not spend enough time, spend a day to sit down with an attorney, to sit down with someone to write, hey, if I was to go today, I want my son to have this. I want my girlfriend to have this. I want my family to have this. This is what I am doing with the little bit of resources that I have while he's in heaven, feeling no more pain, no more emotional, the people who he loved. Because I genuinely do believe he loved his girlfriend. I genuinely do believe that he loved his son. And watch this. I genuinely do believe he had love for his son's mother. Didn't love her, didn't want to be with her, but he respected that together they made an amazing child. So he honored and respect her. So does she deserve something? Absolutely. But because he didn't spend enough time to put it on paper. And here is one thing that we got to do better at when it comes to heritage, if we're going to give our loved ones. What's the proper word for this? If we're going to give our loved ones momentum, we gotta prepare them. Why do you think sports teams have an off season and towards the end of the off season, they're prepping for the new season? Why do you think chefs, if they have a big event, they come in and they prep for the big event. They don't just show up on the day of the big event and cook food. No, they prep it they're going to get the steak and they're going to, you know, put some seasoning on the steak and let it sit, sit there for a day, for two days, for seven days. Man, I, I like a good cocktail. And on this one particular day, I had an Old Fashioned, and this Old Fashioned was amazing. And I had to ask the, the bartender, why is it that yours tastes better than any other old fashions that I've had? She said, well, because we prepped it for 11 days. I said, what? Yes, we made the, the syrup, we made the ingredients and let it sit. Sit. We made it. We let it sit for 11 days, and then we took that out and we put it inside of the drink, and that's why it tastes well. So the longer you can prep, the better your kids will be. Okay. And the longer or the earlier you can have a conversation with your children, with their family members, about, about life, about what you've learned when they get of age, when you give them the money, when you pass down businesses and land and real estate and income, and they had time to prep, now they know what to do with the resources. Now you have not just legacy, not just heritage, but you're creating a lineage. And every single thing that we're doing, every single thing that we're doing on this brand, on this platform, as a Christian believing platform, we have to start looking at our money through the lens of faith. Faith. Give God his first assign the other 90%, use the rest of that money to increase it. You gotta be transforming your mind every single day. And you got to build heritage. And before you buy the next car, before you go buy the next Louboutin purse, before you go upgrade to the latest and the greatest iPhone or latest and the greatest technology, before you open up a another subscription, I want you to ask yourself, if I do this, spend this, do this, will it impact? And look at it through the lens of faith. If I buy the new car, will it prevent me from giving God his first the 10%? If I buy the new car, is it already assigned in my budget? If it's not assigned, you can't buy it. If I buy the new car, is it going to prevent me from increasing my money and multiplying my money? If I buy the new car, does it align with the new transformational mindset that I have? And if I buy the new car, is it going to prevent me from building a heritage and leaving a legacy? If you can go through that and answer those questions, you're going to be all right and I promise you by this time next year, your funds and your finances will be well. This is the faith framework that God gave me for the body of Christ. Because there's two sides. Pray. Yes, let's pray. Because I believe that if we work the faith framework while also believing God to do the miraculous, it will make him want to show us how good he is. Because now he can trust us with our resources. Listen, I'm going to link the sermon that I believe was one of my best sermons inside of the show notes. I want you to go back and watch it. I want you to share the sermon and share today's video with someone. And then throughout this week I want you to start asking yourself, am I working a faith framework? Am I really being a good steward of my resources with the funds? Yo, I love you. I gotta get up out of here. Way over my time. God bless you. And we are going to be rolling out the Freedom Circle here soon and our goal is to have 10,000 people in it. I'm sick and tired of seeing the wrong information being teached to the body of Christ. And I want to create a circle of individuals, a community to where we honestly get together on a bi weekly basis and get man, I'm talking about y' all in this community. I want us to go on vacation together. My goal is one day we can rent out a whole yacht and we celebrate the body of Christ. Financial freedom. I want to see this community buying their dream cars and buying their houses. Watch this. But I also want to see this community tithing and building the kingdom. I also want to see this community setting up their children for good, strong momentum. Because the Bible says when two or three gather in his name, that's when he's in the midst. So I want to bring our community together. And so we've been building it, we're trying it out and making sure that the platform is working correctly and that is solid. But within the next few weeks we're going to roll this out and I want you to be a part of the community. All right, I love you, God bless you and I'm going see you soon.

Podcast Summary: The Table with Anthony ONeal
Episode: Stop Working Too Hard & Do THIS With Your Next $200 (Guaranteed To Work)
Release Date: July 22, 2026
Host: Anthony ONeal
Producer: The Neatness Network
This episode of The Table with Anthony ONeal centers on integrating faith and practical financial principles to create real wealth, specifically addressing a Christian audience. Drawing from his recent sermon at Union Church and a personal faith journey, Anthony ONeal introduces his "Faith Framework"—a five-step blueprint anchored in Biblical wisdom for transforming personal finances, breaking the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle, and building enduring legacies.
“I get pushback like, ‘I don’t have to have a budget because I prayed… I have faith in God.’ And over the last 15 years, I’ve been struggling with that statement as a Christian.” [02:10]
“Faith is great, but faith without works—practical—is dead.” [04:23]
A systematic guide for Christians to handle their money:
“God isn’t trying to give you a bigger bag. He wants to close the holes in your life—and one is not putting Him first.” [06:25]
“It was easy to tithe when you was making $400k a year, but when you’re only making $2,000 a month… this is the test.” [07:32]
“Money is a terrible master, but if used properly, it could be an incredible servant. Master means it tells you what to do—servant means you tell it what to do.” [14:20]
“Aren’t you sick and tired of getting up every day and exchanging eight hours… to get back $200?... If your money isn’t working harder than you, you’re going to be working hard the rest of your life.” [25:45]
“The only way we can increase our funds is to decrease our spending and use that margin for multiplication.” [27:30]
“Transformation—continuing to evolve... I always want to be transforming my mind and growing.” [32:35]
“God created you not just to enjoy what happens while you’re here, but to leave an inheritance to your children’s children.” [37:00]
On Action and Faith:
“We gotta get out, we gotta get off the internet... giving the church money does—you ain’t giving me no money! And y’all, man, I’m gonna say this respectfully: so many people have a microphone today who don’t deserve a microphone. The word of God… talks about sowing seeds, giving tithe… being generous.” — Anthony ONeal [10:20]
On Stewardship and Assigning Resources:
“Stop praying and asking God for a house that you can’t afford and look at your freaking budget and assign and save.” [16:00]
On Multiplication and Building Wealth:
“Multiplication is the only way you’re going to be able to be a blessing to your children’s children... Aren’t you sick and tired of getting up every single day and exchanging eight hours… to get back $200?” [25:50]
On Legacy and Responsibility:
“How can you say you love [your partner/children] but you have not put protection in place for them if something was to happen to you?... Love also means doing the things that is super uncomfortable.” [39:30]
On Preparation:
“The longer you can prep, the better your kids will be. The earlier you can have those conversations... now they know what to do with the resources. Now you have not just legacy, but a lineage.” [44:00]
The "Faith Framework":
Action Steps This Week:
“If you can go through [these questions] and answer, you’re going to be alright. By this time next year, your funds and finances will be well.” [46:30]
