You still should be cleansing. You should still being proactive because you are exposed on a daily basis to parasites. If you have pets, if you eat salmon, if you eat sushi, if you eat your meat undercooked, if you eat raw produce out and about, if you drink the water, if you have ice in your drinks, these are all things we normally do as humans.

Welcome to the Thyroid Fixer podcast, where we dive deep into the world of thyroid and hormones, especially for you ladies navigating perimenopause and menopause. And really for anyone struggling with hypothyroidism, I'm your host, Dr. Amy, thyroid and hormone specialist and CEO of a global telemedicine practice where we prescribe the right thyroid treatment and bioidentical hormones to all 50 states and most of Canada, helping you become that badass human that you're meant to be. So if you're battling weight gain and hair loss, you can't lose weight no matter what you do. Your energy levels are plummeting and your libido left town. Then you're in the right place and you have found your tribe. Remember, I want you to embrace every inch of that badass woman that you truly are. So if you're ready to dive in and fix things, let's get started. Oh, this is going to be a good conversation today. Kim. I completely and totally hear you and I see you and I understand you, and I know exactly where you're at. You're gaining weight. You can't lose. You have all the symptoms that no one's listening to. The fatigue, the hair loss, the brain fog. You can't remember why you walked into a room. You don't want to get dressed and go out because you know if you have that glass of wine with your friend, if you have that dessert with your husband or even order an appetizer, you're going to be five pounds heavier the next day, and your clothes are already tight. Every single doctor is telling you that you're normal and everything is fine. You've been to multiple conventional medicine doctors trying to use your insurance, hoping to God that somebody has an answer. Then you've dropped thousands of dollars on functional medicine or integrative medicine because you keep hearing how functional medicine gets to the root cause of the problem. But not every functional medicine practitioner knows the thyroid and knows the hormones and can treat you as a nuanced, personalized individual, a unique person. That is exactly what my team and I do. We specialize in thyroid problems. We specialize in hormones. You can't do one without the other. You cannot just see someone for your thyroid and have them ignore your hormones or have them half ass your hormones. They better be a hormone and thyroid expert if you are going to spend your time, your energy and your money if you are going to invest in functional medicine. They need to be a thyroid and hormone expert and treat you as an individual. They can't have a cap on how much T3 that they're going to give you. They have to personalize your treatment plan to get you feeling your best, no matter what that looks like so that every system in your body functions at the very top, at the very best. And that is exactly what we do. I made it my mission because I went through this. I was dismissed, I was gaslit, I was misdiagnosed and I dropped thousands of dollars before I found an answer. That is why I made it my mission to be able to treat people in all 50 states so we can prescribe via telehealth. Thyroid and hormones and peptides. Yeah, the GLPs as well to all 50 states, most of Canada and now Puerto Rico. That is my mission to be able to help you wherever you are. Because I want you living your best life. If you can imagine the best life ever, that is absolutely possible for you. I'm not BSing you. I am not BSing you. I was in your shoes. Many of my patients have been in your shoes. We will get you there and that is my promise to you. Healthy hormones begin with healthy cells. So when we talk about thyroid or hormone health, we usually focus on lab supplements or symptoms. But there's a deeper story happening in your body, and that's one that begins in your cells. Every hormone your body produces relies on healthy, energized cells to do its job. And at the heart of each cell are the mitochondria, your energy centers. As we age or when the body is under stress, mitochondrial function naturally declines. That can show up in so many ways. Fatigue, slower recovery, or just simply that feeling off. This is where Timeline Nutrition's breakthrough Mito pure comes in. Mito pure is a highly pure form of a nutrient called urolithin A, if you've ever heard of that. It's backed by over 15 years of research, multiple human studies, and has been shown to support mitochondrial health, muscle function and overall cellular performance. By helping your mitochondria work more efficiently, you're supporting the foundation of your energy and your long term wellness. I personally found that this deeper cellular approach to health is a powerful complement to everything we do for thyroid and hormone balance. It's not about quick fixes, it's about building resilience from the inside out. If you're ready to support your body at the cellular level, Mitopure offers a clean, clinically backed way to start. So you are going to go to timeline.comforward/doctor Amy. So that's T-I M E L-I N E.comforward/D R A M I e. And you're gonna see the code on there, Dr. Amy 10 D R A M I E 10. But if you want to try the gummies, the mito pure, it's actually going to give you 20 off your order. So just go ahead and click that code. D R a m I e 10. You'll see it on the page or you can add it at checkout. You're going to save some money while giving new life to your cells. You're known as the worm queen, which I love the name, absolutely freaking love the name. But more importantly is the topics that we're going to dive into today hot topics with my community. I mean mold, lime, parasites, heavy metals, detox, you know, and what really is a good detox and what's kind of like a detox that everybody tries to do, like the Beyonce hot pepper cayenne lemon juice one. Right. Remember that. So let's actually break it down for my audience. But before we do that, we have to start with your story because you spent a lot of time in the western medicine, medical world and I want to know what kind of brought you over to the other side. Probably a pain to purpose story like Many of us, but I'll let you tell it. So talk to me what you do for 20 years in the Western medicine world.
A
Well, thanks for having me. I'm so glad to be here and get to talk to your community about all of these weird things that I love talking about. I love it. I love talking about the taboo. And I kind of always been like that, where I would like to drop nuggets of knowledge to my patients and to people in the world that I worked in with Western medicine. And they didn't always like me for it, but I didn't really care because I knew that what I was saying was the truth. And there was like, science, but it's just so buried in what we're, what our thoughts are. So I come from Western medicine. I've been in it since, since 2004. I hold two healthcare degrees. I ran 25 medical colleges, I authored books with large publishing companies. I was a subject matter expert in multiple different places in Western medicine. I've always been a little more alternative and natural in, like, my real life, but as far as understanding the body and in medicine, I'm an expert in that. And so when I was crowned the worm queen, I took it with pride because I do know what I'm saying and I have proof and I am very confident in what I'm doing to a point where I even created a business around this to help others. So it's been a fun journey. I have very much enjoyed it and I love the fact that I get to kind of wring out my knowledge to help other people absorb it and understand it. So I started to really go on a wellness journey. In 2019, my health started to decline rapidly and I couldn't get anyone to assist me. I had had 13 surgeries and a hysterectomy. I had a hysterectomy when I was 29 years old. And I had five surgeries before, five surgeries after to clean all of the endo up that was inside of my body. And then I created atomyosis. And so my surgeons had said no more. So in 2019, after my last surgery, I wasn't doing well. And so my husband and I decided to sell our home, all of our belongings, quit our careers, and move out to our recreational property where we were building a log home on our own. And it was like 1800 square feet. So it's a big log home, two stories. And we decided to figure out what was wrong with me. And that's where this all started. We wanted to figure out how to heal me, or we were saying goodbye to me, and we had come to that realization. So that's how this started.
B
Okay, so what the hell? What were the surgeries that you had prior to your hysterectomy? Like, what was going on in your body?
A
I wouldn't stop bleeding. That was a big one. So they would go in and clean me up. They were just called cleanups. They'd go in laparoscopically. They would. Well, I'm 47. So when endometriosis first came out, you know, they would go in and cauterize. So they go in and burn you. And then after they cauterize the endocrine, then they would do some laser. And so as the surgery world for Endo started developing, a lot of us that had been cauterized. Cauterizing, meaning that they went in and burned versus cutting it out and cleaning it up. And so I had scar tissue around the cauterization. So then they'd have to go in and do another surgery to clean up the previous surgeries. And then while I was on chemical menopause, I was still developing adhesions, I was still bleeding, which I was supposed to not be, but my body wasn't responding to any of these things. Looking back now, I know it was more than just endo, and that's why I'm so passionate about talking about this, because I actually have chronic Lyme. I've had mold poisoning since I was born, and I had parasites. And I know all of this now from all of my personal research. And I also have my medical records from the day I was born. I like to dig into my own body and then teach everyone else that, you know, what could be going on with theirs. But it really was a series of things that really, if I had been more of an advocate for myself, I wouldn't necessarily have been in the situation that I was in at the time that I thought I knew things, which, looking back, I just didn't know enough to make these decisions. And I feel like my surgeons and my doctors didn't either. And so I really teach people how to be more of an advocate. But that's ultimately what led me to where I'm at now is just researching down deep and knowing I had schistomycin, which mimics endometriosis in the body. And I researched how the WHO has talked about the World Health Organization, how there's been unnecessary surgeries for hysterectomies because it mimics endometriosis and other reproductive issues. And I Had that. And so I'm looking back now, and I'm like, oh, so if I would have done this, if I would have done that, there could have been a different outcome?
B
Sure, yeah. I mean, you can't beat yourself up over that, because all of that that you went through brought you to here to be able to help other people. So I think that's amazing. Now, I want to go back to something you said. Mold since childbirth.
A
Yes.
B
How did you know? Like, how did you uncover the fact that, I mean, obviously, okay, mom was exposed or something, but I didn't even realize that it could be passed on and literally hang out in the body for decades.
A
Yes. It can hang out and be passed from mother to child. So my mom and I have the same molds. We both have 11 active molds in our body. We were able to trace it back to when my mom, for sure, lived in Vandenberg, California. My dad is colonel in nuclear missiles before he retired, and that's where he got a lot of training, was in Vandenberg, and there was a lot of mold. My mom also had sarcoid, which is a deteriorating tissue disease which they're researching, and it can still be stem from mold. So prior to my mom having children, she had some mold in her body, which now we know also got passed down to me. And then there was mold in the officers barracks that they lived in where I was born. And so there was a lot of different avenues at the time that they didn't know. But as I've researched and now I've dug in and I'm making all my family get labs, and I'm bringing them to the forefront so that I know exactly how I can treat myself. And then all my nieces, now I know what they need help with as they're navigating their health. So I've just used my training to help my family. But that's been a huge discovery for me, that I actually was born with mold. And looking back, because I have my records from the day I was born, I can look back to see what went on. And then just looking back, and I lived in South Dakota, and I remember we had a basement, and I remember seeing some potential mold. And then I also got bit by a tick when I was around 10 to 13, and I know I got Lyme from them. My behavior changed. Right. So looking back at all of these things, I've been able to navigate that for myself. And then I just share the information for other people that maybe are experiencing this with their child, but also with themselves. I also know I had pinworms, and I had all the symptoms of pinworms, but just didn't know that that's what it was at the time. So I actually have the trifecta of environmental toxins causing me to have issues growing up with my health.
B
Seriously, I mean, you really did get hit hard. But that actually makes me stop and go, well, how many people? Because what you experience is pretty common. I mean, yeah, okay, your mom didn't do anything wacky. She just lived in California and lived in a moldy home. Right. I mean, you weren't doing anything crazy when you got bit by a tick. We can all get bit by ticks. Probably all of us have. So what you actually experience or what happened to your body sounds so crazy. But yet it's pretty common, right?
A
Very common.
B
Very common.
A
Yeah. And I would say on the parasite spectrum, 95% of us have parasites. Documented proof through the CDC from 2023 is 60 million. But that's only if they tested positive on a LabCorp or Quest level, because then they have to tell the CDC that they tested positive. Where? When I found out what parasites I had in my body, it was from Mexico. So Worm Queen's not even part of that 60 million because we don't really have affordable, accurate, available testing. That is something that I'm working on right now to have that part of our society. But the whole thing is that all of these numbers only mean that it's been a documented scenario. So you can have these symptoms and not even test positive. You can still have a parasite and not test positive. You can still have mold in your body, and it's difficult unless they know exactly what mold to test you for. And you can have Lyme and you could test one way for Lyme, like I did. I tested positive for only two strains of Boreala. Three is what makes you have Lyme. But then six months after I did therapeutic plasma exchange, I tested positive for 10 strains and Babesia. So they're evaders, man. They know how to not get caught because they don't want to get caught. And so they know how to not get caught. They're like, oh, they're that rebellious child.
B
Yeah, okay, yeah, let's really talk about parasites because this is your jam.
A
My jam? Yes.
B
I know you deal with Lyme and mold and all of that too, but I really want to unpack parasites because exactly what you said. I've heard this, you know, around our circles. Some people are out there saying, how do you know if you have A parasite. Are you breathing? Do you have a pulse? Right, so the. The belief that pretty much all of us have parasites, but then we have the other camp that says that that's actually not true. Now, I don't know what that camp is going by. I believe they're basically going by the eosinophils that we test in blood, pretty much. And if they eosinophils are not high, then it's like, okay, well, you don't have a parasite problem, so let's just break that down and unpack it.
A
Okay. Eosinophils are a good indicator that you have parasites, fungus, or mold because it's showing the cells that are inflamed and trying to fight. That's all that EOS is. And I do recommend doing an EOS during a full moon and in conjunction with a stool test during the full moon. The full moon does have. And we'll definitely talk about why the full moon is important, but it's just one indication that you potentially could have an environmental toxin creating your symptoms and your issues. It doesn't necessarily mean that it is a parasite or that it's fungus, but there's something in your blood and it is severely missed. I look back at my labs and I've had a one most of my life. And I would ask, why is this high? Like, what's going on here? And they go, oh, you're just fighting an infection. What infection? Like, well, now I know that infection was mold and parasites, right? So be alert, get your labs. Like, it's really important to be your own advocate. I don't think that that's the only way that you can know that you have a parasite and just because you tested negative or that they don't look at numbers, you still should be cleansing. You should still being proactive because you are exposed on a daily basis to parasites. If you have pets, if you eat salmon, if you eat sushi, if you eat your meat undercooked, if you eat raw produce out and about, if you drink the water, if you have ice in your drinks. These are all things we normally do as humans, right? That's all the things. Like, I don't give everything up. Like, I don't drink tap water, right? Like, I was poisoned more by the worms in our water when we were building our log home for me, trying to survive out there, our well, the community well of thousands was contaminated. And then I tested the water here in Seattle, also contaminated with nematodes. So it's just a normal thing for us to realize that we have to be more proactive, like other countries are proactive when it comes to parasites. They are so easy to catch, they're so easy to have. And you think your symptoms are like stress, right? So you grind your teeth, you think, oh, well, I'm just stressed, I have tmj. But in reality it's your nervous system that's been hijacked by something. And whatever that something is, is absorbing magnesium and calcium. And that's why you're grinding your teeth. So there's a logic behind why all of these things can be caused by a parasite. And so knowing and having a proactive response to it is really what I'm out here trying to teach people is that it's just taboo and it shouldn't be taboo. Western medicine's made it taboo for us.
B
So is it something. So you mentioned the eosinophils. Now I also did a GI map, a stool test, which also showed no parasites. So how do we actually know? Like how can we tell if we really do have parasites or if we're in that 5% that don't?
A
When you're doing a stool test like that, my recommendation is to do it over a four day period. So you get two vials most of the time, right? You get two vials, just scoop a little bit of your poop from that day into that vial, put it in the fridge, then the next day grab the other vial and scoop a little bit more in that vial, put in the fridge, then go back to that first vial on the third day and scoop a little bit more, put in the fridge, then do the same. Get a four day snapshot of what it looks like in your gut and make sure you're refrigerating it. And then it's a priority. The issue with a lot of the testing is that it sits out. And so anything that potentially they could be looking at is gone or dead or they're not aware. And so one of the things that I'm really fortunate about that I actually trained lab technicians, so I understand how the back end works when it comes to labs. They don't always know what they're looking for. Now, a GI map, they're specializing in it. They have parasitologists. I'm sure they're trained for it. But things can be missed. And because they're in a live frequency in our body, they know how to not get caught. That's their whole goal.
B
They're really that smart?
A
They're really, oh my gosh, they're so smart. Oh, I got A story about how smart they are.
B
Okay.
A
So I was sending this documentary guy a kit in Ecuador. So it. It was taking a little while. We were, like, talking about my story and about parasites. And his wife is skeptical. And he has a daughter and he has a dog, and they live in, like, the jungle. And so his wife's like, I don't believe in any of this. I think it's all, like, not true. And he was like, I mean, I kind of believe in it. Like, I do believe that, you know, this is a thing. We deworm our dog. And she was like, yeah, but that's different. And so we. We talked about it. Well, the kit came, the whole box finally made it to Ecuador. And they brought it inside, didn't even open it. The dog decides to go into the corner and poop worms in their house.
B
Okay?
A
And the daughter, 10 minutes later, pooped worms in the house on the ground. He calls me and says, kim, I don't know what's going on, and sends me the video of the poop from the dog and had worms and the daughter and the wife's like, cleanse. Now, he hadn't even opened the box. It was just the frequency of his thought bringing the box in and setting it down. And his wife and him were like, okay, that's it. And they're. They're true, true cleansers now. Gosh. Because they're smart. They're smart. They're a frequency. They're alive in our body, and they can hijack our nervous system, our mind. They can actually go in and rewire our brains. Like Toxoplasmosis Gondi will rewire your brain. Parasites control and mold brainwashes.
B
You have to talk about that, because that is something that I just heard a few months ago. So let me back up. I'm going to tell you my story so you can weave all of this in. Okay, so my audience knows, in April, I was diagnosed with uterine cancer.
A
Okay.
B
Announced it on Social, probably a couple months. Well, maybe a month or so later. And I was scheduled to have my hysterectomy. I had the hysterectomy. But the amount of people that reached out to me that were like, have you done a parasite cleanse? Do you think it was caused by parasites? Now, I don't know if my uterine cancer was caused by parasites. I'd like to get your take on it. But then I started hearing about how parasites literally can take over your mind and change your mood. I'm like, come on. So now you're the second person that have said this, so I need you to explain it to me. But also, whenever it flows in the conversation, go back and tie parasites into cancer too.
A
Okay. I do have a document that I found that says that endoparasites are resembling of malignant tumors. And that's specifically because the body starts to create a biofilm hardened shell around them to protect itself. And you have to bring in something like what we did with metal flush with lungwort lichen to break that shell. I call it the house of the environmental toxins. You gotta burn it down and then you get to pluck each environmental toxin out individually with the herbs. And so I just learned what the frequency of the, the issue is, the symptom, to bring in the frequency of that herb to remove that ailment. So do I believe that all cancer is parasites? No. But I do believe that our bodies try and protect us and create abnormal cells around specific environmental toxins that it can't break down that then can morph into the abnormal cells of a malignant tumor. So there is studies that have shown that. There's also studies from the 50s that prove it and that have been stuck in a CIA document that was declassed in 2011. So there are studies. There are countries that are in the western medicine world that do believe that this is the issue. And that's why they have their citizens cleansed two, three, four times a year. But also other countries like Jamaica cleanse using an herb called the bush and they make a tea and they do it monthly because they are exposed and they're a lot more vulnerable because they're in the water. Right. There's so many things that contribute to having these environmental toxins do damage to our bodies. So that's kind of my thought process on it. But I don't believe that everything has contributed to a parasite. But I do believe that it is a large issue that we've just never played into. And I don't. I mean, I understand why to an extent, but I also don't to another extent. So you'll probably hear me say, I don't know why, but it's because it's such a mind boggling thing to me. But I forgot your first question because I really wanted to answer that question. And I'm a mind control. Yeah, yeah. Oh, mind control. Yeah, yeah, we gotta talk about that. Because I think once people hear how it all intertwines together, it makes the mind a little more easy to wrap its head around. And the reason that people Struggle is because you can't really see it. And then you're in a frequency where it's an alive frequency. They vibrate at a frequency of their own. So you wake up and you have parasites. You're pushing a boulder up a hill pill the moment you wake up, right? They're stealing our nutrients. They're causing us issues. So let's talk about toxoplasmosis gondii. Most people know about not scooping cat poop when they're pregnant. It's a thing that's been talked about, and it's because of toxoplasmosis gondii. And it can control your mind. So when toxo is produced, it's actually produced in a cat's gut. There's an enzyme that allows it to cycle into itself, toxo. But prior to that, it's found in mice and rats. And so it goes to the cat. So the mouse is like, hey, I'm sexually attracted to the cat's urine, and I want to get eaten. And so Toxo says, yeah, go hang out with the cat. Really, Toxo wants to go to the next level on the enzyme in the cat's gut. So the mouse goes to the cat and gets eaten so that it has another stage of toxo. The cat then poops, and we scoop it, we step in it, we breathe it, and now we've got Toxo. We're the best host, we're sanitary, we eat. Not great. Like, they can live in us for a really long time, so we're their final destination, where they want to go. But until then, the mouse goes to the cat, the cat eats us, and then all of a sudden, now we can get toxo. But it's not just that about toxo. Toxo actually can rewire your mind to make you promiscuous, and it actually inhibits the feel of fear. So they've done studies where people that are on crotch rockets die and they're positive for toxoplasmosis. There are people, like fighters that go to Mexico to get toxo injected in them so that they can just beat the crap out of each other and never feel that fear. And then if all of a sudden you're sleeping around and you're like, yo, I don't know why I did that. Like, I don't know. You should go get tested for toxoplasmosis, because it does rewire that front part of your brain that causes you to not feel the fear and not Understand that you shouldn't be sleeping around, but it's not really you, it's toxo.
B
Okay? You know that I love peptides and I love what peptides can do for our skin. Now we know with age and UV exposure, we're getting wrinkles. Our skin is aging, it's getting age spots. So there's one company in particular, One Skin, which side note, founded and led by an all woman team of skin longevity scientists. They looked at over 900 peptides. And from diving into the science of these 900 peptides, they combined many of them and developed OSO1, which is the first ingredient scientifically proven to interrupt our core aging process, where our cells just really stop functioning normally. And then that collagen and elastin that plumps our skin and makes it look good and youthful goes into the toilet. And then what happens with age and UV exposure, the release of harmful inflammatory chemicals that's just going to damage our skin and make you look older than you already are. That's not good. We don't want that. We want to look younger and we want to stop our skin from aging. So OSO1 switches off these bad cells, these toxic cells, and it addresses the root cause of skin aging, which helps your skin stay younger and healthier.
A
It's your largest organ.
B
It's not just about appearance, but, you know, appearance is great when you start to look a little bit better and you look a little bit younger and you take a couple of years off of your face. Who doesn't want that? So that's why I love my one skin. OS01. I chose one skin because of the research, because of the peptide action on our face. As much as peptides work in our bodies, they also work topically. You just have to try this. Just try out one skin. You can let me know about your skin's appearance after you use it for a month or so. So you're going to go to OneSkin co. That's O N E S K I N.co forward slash. Dr. Amy. Use the code Dr. Amy D R A M I E. This is giving you 15 off your first order. You are not going to regret it. Your skin is going to thank you and then you're going to thank me. Whoa. Oh, my goodness.
A
This is.
B
This is crazy. This is mind blowing. It really is. Okay, okay.
A
So then they also can control your mind by making you eat salt and sugar and food that you wouldn't normally eat. So I knew this when I created my purify cleanse. So I added in two herbs that help curve your appetite. When I first did my first cleanse, I was literally eating hamburgers and ice cream. And I don't eat like that. Like, I. I eat pretty dec. But I'm like, I'm starving and I'm starving for this food. Well, now I know. It's because they said to me, go and eat the sugar. Because they thrive off of sugar. They actually say during the full moon, if you want to know if you have parasites, go eat some scoops of ice cream, okay? Because they're going to come out and then they're going to say, eat more. Eat more. Because they're a frequency inside of our already frequency bodies. We are listening to them because they can hijack our minds. And so if you are eating after 7pm, if you're staying up all night with insomnia, you got a parasite. Because it's not you internally, your soul with this body telling you to behave this way. It's actually them telling you to behave this way because that's their survival. That's how they continue to live. And then you get into a cleanse, like purify. And it's like, stop. I have die offs. Don't do anymore. It's not you, it's them. They don't want to die. And they're. They're reliving this death in their mind, your mind. And so you just stop. You're like, oh, I can't keep going. Like, I don't have parasites. I. I did it to myself. Like, I literally know what it looks like to be a denier on that side because they don't want to go away. They don't want to die.
B
Oh, my gosh, this is wild. Okay, okay, so let's just assume I have parasites because I have a dog and I walk in the grass with my bare feet and I eat sushi and I eat salmon and I, you know, if I'm out and about, of course I'm going to get ice in my. Whatever water, Club soda. Okay, so I got parasites.
A
Yeah. I don't know.
B
It. I don't have any symptoms, Cam. So what are people actually looking for outside of having a pulse and breathing? What are they looking for to say, like, you know, this might be a parasite thing? Outside of everything that you went over with the mind stuff, what else?
A
Grinding your teeth. We talked about that. Drooling at night. I know when it's time for me to cleanse. Feeling unworthy of self, because that means you've got some small intestinal parasites that's where that emotion stems from. Brain fog, ibs, ibd. Usually, if you have a heightened sense of anxiety and all of a sudden, like, really intrusive thoughts, that means something died off and left that thought. If you taste ammonia at any given time throughout your day, if you're fasting and you have headaches, usually that's the parasites peeing and pooping in your body. And that's where the ammonia comes from, that taste of ammonia, especially if you fast, if all of a sudden you're like, I don't know, there's why it smells like ammonia or why I taste it, it's because a parasite is dying and peeing and pooping in your body.
B
Now, isn't that just the ketones, like the ketone bodies or the almost kind of like a ketoacidosis being produced?
A
I mean, it can be, but it can also be something alive doing those things in your body. I mean, that if you're getting a headache and you're fasting and you have a terrible headache, and then ammonia comes in, it can be a little process of both. And so that's why I teach to be proactive and to do cleanses three or four times a year versus waiting to be diagnosed. I mean, we know that these are a thing. We know that they're out there. And so at this point, with all the knowledge that is out there, it's just really important to know that you should be doing this.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. All right, this is good. Now, why the full moon? I have heard that before, too. Did they become more active during the full moon? So why is that, number one? And then I'm assuming that's the reason why we would want to test and possibly cleanse during that time as well.
A
So I have two stories for this. I'm gonna go straight to the answer, and then I'm gonna tell you what the French do. Because there's a whole thing with the way the French cleanse back in the day. Whether they do it now, I couldn't tell you exactly what it is, but it's a French folklore, and it makes complete sense. So the reason why is because our serotonin runs higher and our melatonin runs lower, and they live off of this happy hormone, serotonin. And during the full moon, that's why when people say, oh, my gosh, people are crazy, it's because there's a misbalance. And then their parasites are hopping on the serotonin river, reestablishing new areas in your body because they're eating the serotonin, and that's their way of navigating through your body. And then they're dropping communities and riverfront property, basically. So I try and do it with a smile because it's gross. I actually left working in urgent care because I don't like parasites and worms. But I love being the worm queen, so it's amazing to see her be able to talk about it and have the knowledge behind. All right, so the French. The French eat snails, and snails hold shishtomycin. And I'm probably saying it wrong, but that's just the way I say it, because I like saying it that way. So that's basically a parasite that goes inside of your bladder and also your reproductive system, and it can mimic female issues. So they eat all these snails and they know they need to deworm. And three days prior to the full moon, they have shown that that's when they start to dislodge themselves. And then during the full moon is when the serotonin is running higher. So they say to start cleansing three days prior to the full moon, to get as many as you can. So if you're going to test anything and you want to test during the full moon, you can start three days prior to the full moon and around a day after the full moon. That's going to be your prime testing period. It's also the best time to cleanse because you'll get more of them. Now, I can never wait. I just cleanse whenever I feel like I need to cleanse. But that's a good rule of thumb that decades they've been doing it this way and thousands of years. So that's kind of where that mentality comes from. With three days prior to the full moon, during the full moon, and a couple of days after the full moon. I also recommend when you are doing cleanse, because we're only paralysed only 30 days. You do it three to four times a year. I give you enough product with this mindset that you do the 30 days and then you have two, five days that you can do a cleanse in between your other cleanses. So over the full moon, so you do your 30 days, you do five days over the full moon for two months in a row if you want to do a mini cleanse, and then you do another 30 day after you've done this series. That's why I just think that three to four times a year doesn't overwhelm people. And when you go beyond 30 days, it stresses people out. And so I really wanted to make it when I created the company and created this kit, that it was something that your mind could wrap around. Because if you go 90 days, 100, I get overwhelmed. And I'm really strict with my body and I get overwhelmed. I can do around 30 to 60 days. And then I'm like, okay, I need to take a break. And then I come back.
B
Now, is it more just like supplement, pill overwhelm because there's so much to take, or is it something that's actually occurring in the body, like people are experiencing a detox reaction or fatigue? Which I do want you to talk about, about what people can expect when they're doing a cleanse. But what's the barrier? Is it the supplement fatigue thing?
A
I think a little bit of both. First, I think it's a huge fear of doing a parasite cleanse as well. And then I do know that the mind, it takes around 21 days to make or break a habit. And I think that when people go beyond that 21 days, they start to feel better and then they start to want to keep doing it. But I feel like with parasite cleansing, it's that fear first and then doing something three times a day, staying consistent, remembering to do it in our busy lives and then die offs. I mean, something's dying off in your body, whether it is a parasite or it's heavy metals being removed, mold that's being snuffed out. There are things that are dying off in our body when we're doing purified parasite cleanse. But I also think that it's just really people having a better understanding of how easy it is. I mean, it's three tinctures in a binder. You take it three times a day, you put it in water. I mean, it's so simple. But I think that it's this fear around it too.
B
Yeah, I mean, for me. So this is back. This is another company that I tried to do a parasite cleanse and I got capsule fatigue. It was so many, you know, you got like when you protocol up and you're like, wait five here or two, oh, another hour. I got to take the wait. I just took my thyroid medication. It's going to bind to that. And I was like, ah. And then on top of that, I was told to do coffee enemas, which I did for about like two weeks. And then I don't have time to do that either. Like, you got to devote like a full half an hour in the bathroom that now we're busy entrepreneurs. I ain't got time so talk to me about what you first. I do want to go back to the question about what can people expect so that they know, or maybe it's even for me, if I actually do a full parasite protocol, what can I expect to. How I'm going to feel? Am I going to get a rash, am I going to get acne? I'm going to have a headache, like, what's the deal? And then is it imperative to do a coffee enema with the parasite cleanse or can we just do the cleanse, look in the toilet and go, oh, hey, it's working.
A
I mean, it's kind of a combination of all of it. I believe that when you keep it more simple. I know who you're talking about. And I heard that, that it's like 26 pills a day or even in a sitting. Like, I never took the company, I take their, some of their stuff. But then they started putting citric acid as, as an additive. And I think that's why a lot of doctors have come over to purify, because it's literally a tincture. It's this easy.
B
I'm going to show you how easy.
A
This is, how easy it is. This is sustain and this is it. I'm done.
B
Oh, I can do that.
A
That's it. Three times a day. All three tinctures, three times a day. And you bind at night. Because I also take Synthroid and I don't want to have to mess around. I do my Synthroid and then I wait an hour and then I do all my stuff. And then two hours after I've done all my stuff, I take Cinnabin and then I go to bed and I make it work. I make it work in my body while I'm sleeping. Like, people think that you can't do things while you're sleeping, but that's like eight hours. I don't have eight hours to waste. Like, I need to use every moment of the day. And I did it so easy because my husband, I need my husband to cleanse. So when all of this started and I went viral on TikTok in 2021, the whole thing was we were building a log home. I was still very ill. I had not gotten a control over my health. I was still working on it, even though at this point now I knew what was wrong. I'd gone a whole year parasite cleansing. And then I found out we were living in mold. So I was still in a situation where my husband was taking care of me. He's my caretaker. I actually was building A log home, you know, I mean, there were so many avenues that we were trying to go down. I needed to make it simple. No one has time to integrate a full blown I'm in bed cleanse. No one. So I don't have that time. I didn't even have that time while I was going viral, talking about it. I didn't want to feel ill. There were die off days where I would still show up and do videos. But it was so tough for me to show up and do all the things I needed to do and run a company. I mean, we started all of this. We make our own tinctures in a 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility we built ourselves. And I have 40 employees. I went from dying in the woods to running this company and I don't have time. I need to cleanse, I need to stay consistent. And so I just took that philosophy where it shouldn't get in your way, it should not get in your daily activity way. You should wake up, do the three tinctures at lunch, do the tinctures at dinner, do the tinctures and bind at night. You know, that's what makes it so good, is that it's really that simple. And then we have other type of wellness tinctures you can take to assist with die offs and to assist with feeling better and to keep you active throughout the day. Because when as soon as you start to be stagnant, they're stagnant. As soon as you keep yourself moving and you're in the flow and you're doing all the modalities, they don't want to stay in you. They're like, I'm out. Like. So whether or not you test positive, they're in us, they're in our blood, our tissue in our muscle. So really it's about movement and it's about continuing to stay consistent.
B
Okay, so I could do the coffee enema like a couple times a week, but I don't have to commit to it every single day.
A
Single day. No, it's just a good practice to do it right because you're opening up that pathway, you're making sure you're pooping. Colonics are really great. I like colonics better than enemas. My best friend and my co host with what's eating you? My podcast, Sam, she does them a lot. I don't have the time, I don't have the patience. I actually have a friend who is developing coffee enemas that you don't have to boil the water. You just dump and go. So that's going to speed the process up because you got to. I mean, I know, right? You got to boil the water. You got to make sure. It's just so much work and it. And I get it. Like I should be doing them often and I'd rather go be lazy and do a clonic where I just can go in and be done. So it's just going to add to it. It's not something that you have to do. Okay. All right.
B
You're making it easier for me. I like it.
A
I like it simple.
B
I like it. Okay. So not gonna kick your ass. Totally still be functioning. Maybe a couple little symptoms here and there.
A
Yeah.
B
What about now?
A
You.
B
You said you take Synthroid. A lot of my people, especially if they're patients, we don't do just T4 only. So we gotta talk about that on your podcast. T4 only not gonna work. You gotta have some T3. So we gotta get you some T3. But T3, we dose it twice a day. So we'll dose it in the morning and then again in the afternoon. Now you're saying the binders at night so people don't have to worry about that. Or even the tinctures binding to even an afternoon dose of thyroid medication and then, you know, rendering that inactive.
A
Yeah, you just have to space it out. And I know that it will feel like it's a hassle, but it's only for 30 days. And it's really, if you do it where it's spaced appropriately an hour after and then again, just binding at night is going to be your best. And for those of you that don't know what a binder is, ours is called Cinnabon in the pair of kit. Every name I picked is for fun because this is such a weird subject and I wanted to make people smile when they'd say Cinnabon. And so it's Ceylon cinnamon and coconut activated charcoal. And charcoal is pretty restrictive. But it is a negative herb that is charged it as a magnet for a positive toxin, which is so ass backwards that like it should be a negative toxin and a positive herb, but so that it's a magnet so that it doesn't reabsorb any of those toxins. Don't reabsorb back into your body. That's why binders are really important. And it's not just important to bind when you're parasite cleansing. It's important to bind any cleanse. It's important to bind after a massage because you're moving your lymphatic system the lymphatic system is the sewer of our bodies, but we don't have a pump, so there's no way that our body can pump the sewer. And the only way that you're pumping your lymphatic is movement, vibration, plate walking, massage and herbs is an option, which is why I brought in another kit called the lymph kit to help move your lymph prior to doing the pair of kit. And then you stay on the lymph while you're doing your parasite cleanse so that you continue to detox your brain. Moving your brain, moving your lymphatic system, moving your nervous system, all of these things can cause stagnant in your body. But we don't move our lymph the way we're supposed to move our lymphatic system. And so I recommend binding anytime you're doing anything crazy to your lymphatic system because it's dumping toxins. And then your body has to try and reabsorb those toxins that you're trying to move. And so it's just another valuable tool to help with a wellness journey.
B
Okay, now let's talk about the after. When people have done a cleanse, are they going to notice a difference after just a 30 day cleanse?
A
Yeah, I noticed three days into my cleanse, that is when I knew I had worms. I started another cleanse. And the reason why I created my own company was because of transparency. When I did this other company's cleanse and went viral. And when I say I went viral, it wasn't a little viral, it was a million views in the first two hours of my video. And 40 to 50 million people used to watch me a month on TikTok. TikTok changed their rules because of me. And in the fine print, anytime I say parasite cleanse, I am heavily censored. So now I have around 1 to 5 million people a month watching me versus 4, 40 to 50 million a month. But my video on July of 2021 went so viral it shut off my TikTok, my phone overheated and I realized I was onto something. And it was a 60 second video. I said, I come from western medicine, I've been in it since 2004 and I've never dewormed myself until now. And I held up what I was using and I said, they came out my skin and urine, which they did. And it stopped people in their tracks. First off, 2020 had hit, right? So people were really desperate for more knowledge, right? And so I just happened to make this off the cuff funny. I have a humorous personality. It's dry. And I think everything's funny because it kind of is. And you can't take any of this too seriously. You have to just go with it. And so that was my video and it just stopped. I had 10,000 followers when I started it, and overnight I had 200,000 followers. I mean, and I've run every day. I've not taken a day off talking about it since that day. I think I calculated I've Talked about this 1,466 times as of today, consecutively. I've never taken a day off talking about this.
B
Oh, my gosh. I absolutely love it.
A
Well, I.
B
Outside of parasites, you also just taught everybody that and taught me that you can really talk about the same thing every single day and people don't get bored with it. So that's amazing.
A
Yeah, that's consistency. Oh, and the amount of content I get. Like, I get such good content because there's so many worms in our food. There's so many people pooping out worms. There's so many. I have 25,000 pictures of worms that have been sent to me in four years. Mostly from my product. Mostly from my product. Any worm that you see on the Internet at some point in time has probably been from the pair of I kit. I also included thousands of pictures in a of bunch book so that it you can look in the toilet and identify what worm you just passed. Now, there are three types of cleansers. So all the people that are a little nervous about cleansing, there's three types of you. There's a flusher. You just go. You don't even look. There's a looker where you're looking for validation, but you're not quite ready to be a digger. And diggers are the best. The best for my business. They're the best. They're the best for my content. They're the best because they'll get down in there and they're digging and like, they're texting me, asking or emailing me, asking me how else they can get. I'm like, get a ass hat, poke some holes in that thing, put it on the toilet, get yourself some chopsticks and some gloves and a mask and call it a day. Because you're gonna go digging and you're gonna find something. Like, it's inevitable, man. You're gonna find something if you go this deep into your stool.
B
Oh, my God, Kim, I'm totally sending you pictures.
A
That's it. Yeah.
B
That's it. I don't know if I'm gonna be a digger or not, but I'm gonna send you pictures.
A
It's an all day thing. When you come work for us, my first question is, does poop or worms bother you? Because if they do, this is not the time or the place for you to work. You desperately do not want to work brs. Because it's pretty bad. I get a lot of like baby diapers. Like that one kind of makes me a little queasy when someone sends me a picture of their baby's diapers that have worms in them. Yeah. But nine out of ten times the they have worms, so. Wow.
B
Unbelievable. Well, I mean, you. You've successfully blown my mind today and shined a light on worms and parasites that I honestly, I didn't know. I had no idea. I really didn't. So this has been awesome. And.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay, I'm gonna do your cleanse.
A
Okay. Do it.
B
I'm gonna send you pictures.
A
Okay. I sent you one. Right. I sent you a pair of Frank kit.
B
I just haven't opened it because. Because I'm in denial, Kim. And you know, based on my, like, I shared my last experience. I was like, I don't want to get into taking 5,000 pills again, you know, So I actually didn't even open the box yet. So now that I'm talking to you, I'll open it.
A
Yeah.
B
Now I know it's simple.
A
It's so easy. It's. So who has time for complicated things that are healthy for us anymore? I mean, I based my whole life on it now. But it's a lot when you're trying to get on a wellness journey and it's overwhelming and it's expensive. And that's why I made the price point a hundred dollars. And we won't ever change that, like literally because we make it ourselves. I control where the herbs come from. I control the whole narrative of how the product is made. And we are continuously improving. We actually just got a bunch of capsule machines that were custom made for us from China so that we can continue to not hand press or semi automatic. So it really makes a difference when you're the manufacturer as well as the distributor. So it's kind of a cool concept. I've had a few friends who are also making products now not to do it in a lab because I've shown how easy it is to make it yourself and allow yourself to control what goes in the products. I mean, I'm taking them. I don't want to not know. Like it's really important to me and that's what made me start my company. Yeah.
B
Yeah. Well, amazing. So we do have a link. You gave us a discount code as well to pass on to people. So if anyone wants to join me in an easy parasite cleanse, check the show notes. You can get one yourself. Kim, this has been amazing. Thank you for for shedding light on all of this and just really, yeah, blowing my mind at the same time.

Host: Dr. Amie Hornaman
Guest: Kim (“The Worm Queen”)
Episode: 578
Date: November 14, 2025
This episode dives into the surprising role that parasites, mold, and environmental toxins may play in persistent health issues like fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, and even hormone disruption. Dr. Amie Hornaman and her guest, Kim (aka “The Worm Queen”), unpack why parasites are more common than most realize, how they can evade detection, and the roles they may play in issues ranging from autoimmune disorders to even cancer. The conversation is both practical and mind-bending: Kim, drawing from her extensive experience in Western medicine and her own powerful health journey, demystifies parasites, outlines symptoms, dispels myths, and gives actionable strategies for cleansing and advocacy.
On advocacy:
"If I had been more of an advocate for myself, I wouldn’t necessarily have been in the situation that I was in..." (12:50, Kim)
On how common parasites are:
“On the parasite spectrum, 95% of us have parasites. Documented proof through the CDC from 2023 is 60 million…but that’s only if they tested positive...” (16:52, Kim)
On parasite testing myths:
“Eosinophils are a good indicator that you have parasites...but it’s just one indication...I don’t think that’s the only way you can know." (19:10, Kim)
On parasite intelligence:
"They're really that smart? Oh my gosh, they're so smart. Oh, I got a story about how smart they are..." (23:39, Kim)
On parasites and mind control:
“Toxoplasmosis Gondi will rewire your brain. Parasites control and mold brainwashes.” (25:00, Kim)
On cravings and odd behaviors:
“If you are eating after 7pm, if you’re staying up all night with insomnia, you got a parasite. Because it’s not you...it’s them.” (34:15, Kim)
On full moon cleansing:
"During the full moon...their parasites are hopping on the serotonin river, reestablishing new areas in your body..." (38:11, Kim)
On simplifying cleansing:
“Three tinctures, three times a day, and you bind at night. That’s what makes it so good, is that it’s really that simple." (45:44, Kim)
