Jimmy Fallon
From Studio 6B and Rockefeller center in the heart of New York City, Mr. Tonight show, starring Jimmy Fallon.
Bruce Springsteen
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Jimmy Fallon
Tonight, join Jimmy and his guests, Fred Armison, Lily Rose, Depp, Andre 3000. And featuring the legendary Ruth, Kurt Three Fellas, and now Mir. Give me. How you doing? That's a hot crowd. Thank you very much.
Bruce Springsteen
Welcome.
Jimmy Fallon
Thank you very much. Enjoy. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy yourself. Welcome, everybody. Welcome. Welcome to the Tonight Show. You're here. The Tonight Show. Come on. Well, guys, Christmas is just nine days away, and everyone's in this spirit tonight. I was admiring all the beautiful lights, and then I realized that there was just the drones over New Jersey. Yeah, everyone's talking about these mysterious drones that keep appearing over New Jersey. Nobody knows where they come from or why they exist. It's basically air crypto. Yeah, everyone's annoyed about the drones right now. The Chinese spy balloons are like, stay in your lane, girl. Stay in your lane. When asked about the drones, Marjorie Taylor Greene said the government is in control of them. Mm. I wanna believe her, but she said the same thing about the weather, the super bowl, and the return of the McRib. So I don't know. Yeah, but everyone's talking about the mysterious drones over New Jersey, and nobody seems to know what they are. Joining me right now to talk about it is New Jersey's own Bruce Springsteen. Bruce, are you there?
Bruce Springsteen
Hey, Jimmy.
Jimmy Fallon
Happy season to you, everybody. It was good to have a season today. Thank you very much. So tell us, have you seen the drones? Yeah, but you know, the thing about it? It came with Simon Hawk tour and then the drone. Your ET phone home. Okay, I see. How many drones have you seen?
Bruce Springsteen
One, two. One, two, three.
Jimmy Fallon
Boom. Okay, now, I heard that you actually wrote a song about them. Is this. That's right. That's a bounty. Here we go. Here's a drone. Here's a drone in the Amazon. Amazon. Drone in a phone in an Amazon. All right, thank you very much. Bruce Springsteen, everybody. I don't want to. Maybe he's tired.
Bruce Springsteen
I don't know.
Jimmy Fallon
He tired. I don't know what's going on. I don't know. Amazon drone. Guys, listen to this. President elect Trump said that he plans to permanently eliminate Daylight savings time. Yep. People are divided. Republicans don't want to go back an hour, while Democrats want to go back four years. Some TV news last night was the series finale of Yellowstone. But, yeah, if you're. Great show. But if you're a big fan, don't worry. There are plenty of other shows in the Yellowstone universe.
Fred Armisen
For you.
Jimmy Fallon
Take a look at this. Yellowstone just rode off into the sunset. But we've got lots of Yellowstone spinoffs for y'all to enjoy. Be sure to check out 1883-1923-1944-1644, 1979-1737-2006-2007, 1492, 1776, 711, 711 B.C, 90210 and 8675309. Oh, and don't worry, ladies, Rip Wheeler is in all of them. There you go. That's exciting. I'm in a Rip Wheeler. Some more entertainment news. The first reviews for the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown are coming in, and people are raving about Timothee Chalamet's performance. The movie comes out next week. Joining me now to talk about it is the legend himself, Bob Dylan. Bob, are you there? Hey, Jimmy, thank you so much for being here. So have you seen the movie? So much. Riz. See? What do you think of his singing in the film? Okay. You want to debut a new song right now? Wow, Amazing. By all means, go ahead. All right. I think it's good. It's got potential. That's good stuff. No, no, no. Sorry, Bruce, I didn't realize you were still on the phone. Any updates? The drones. Okay, thank you very much. Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen hang up their phones just to make sure they're all right. Switching gears. I saw that Apple is planning to release a foldable iPhone. So if someone butt dials you, they really had to work for it. And get this. Lawmakers just warned Apple that they should Prepare to remove TikTok from the app Store next month. In response, Apple said, absolutely, we'll definitely remove TikTok after. Just one more TikTok. Hold on. All right, all right, now, hold on. Now we're going to get removed. No, did you see this one? Oh, wait, hold on. Well, it's that time of year when a lot of companies release all their sappy, sentimental commercials that really tug at the heartstrings. And I saw one today that really stuck out. Take a look.
Lily Rose Depp
Some gifts are meant to show appreciation. Other gifts are meant to show love. While a gift from us is meant.
Fred Armisen
To sit on your countertop collecting dust.
Jimmy Fallon
For over a decade. Kitchenaid. Nice. Hey, this is going viral. A British mattress company released an image of what our bodies may look like in 25 years if a person doesn't get enough sleep. Check it out. Apparently, if you don't get enough sleep, you turn into Gollum's mother. Finally, at an airport in New Zealand, Customs officers caught a woman with over 20 pounds of meth disguised as Christmas presents in her carry on bag. Woman was like, what do you mean disguised as present? They were my presents. Can we see what 20 pounds of meth looks like? There you go. We have a great show. Give it up for the Roots, everybod. Hey, welcome to the show, everybody. Oh, quick reminder this Wednesday night, 8pm on NBC. You can watch my new special, Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Spectacular. It's fun, it's, it's funny, it's family friendly. It's got original songs from my album Holiday Seasoning. The Jonas Brothers are on there. Oh, it's Justin Timberlake, Meghan Trainor, Mariah Carey, Weird Al Yankovic. The Roots are on there. Anyway, if you want something fun to watch with the family while you're making merry, eating figgy pudding, whatever it is you do to celebrate, tune in Wednesday night, 8pm on NBC. Jimmy John's holiday Seasoning Spectacular. Just talk into your Xfinity remote. Just say it right into it. Just say Jimmy Fallon. It'll come on. It'll do it. Record it too. Absolutely. It'll play it. Then. I don't know if it'll record it, but you just, if you do that, you just go, you press the thing, you go, jimmy Fallon. It'll go to the special.
Andre 3000
Oh, yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Not to the Tonight Show. Well, no, this is. No, it won't go to the Tonight Show. It doesn't know anything about the Tonight first. We have a show, a great show tonight. He's a hilarious actor and comedian. He's making his Broadway debut in the new show All In. Oh. Is now playing at the Hudson Theatre. Fred Armisen is here this evening. I love Fred. She stars in the new horror film Nosferatu which is in theaters December 25th. Lily Rose Depp is joining us. Plus, he's a multi platinum artist whose album New Blue sun has been nominated for three Grammys, including album of the year. Andre 3000 is here. We'll be right back with Fred Armisen, everybody. Look at that. Our first guest is an Emmy and Grammy nominated actor. He's making his Broadway debut in the new show All In. It's now playing at the Hudson Theater. Everyone, please welcome Fred Armiser. Thank you. You look fantastic.
Fred Armisen
Thank you.
Jimmy Fallon
By the way, I love the shorter hair.
Fred Armisen
Thanks.
Jimmy Fallon
Can I say that? Yeah. I got to see you. Sorry. You are shedding.
Fred Armisen
That's all right.
Jimmy Fallon
I got to see you. I love the hair. I love the shorter hair.
Andre 3000
Thanks.
Jimmy Fallon
Last time I saw you, you were Completely shaven bald.
Fred Armisen
Yeah. For Wednesday. The show Wednesday. I shaved my head to do Uncle Fester. And then this is how much I've grown in since then.
Jimmy Fallon
But you grow pretty fast.
Fred Armisen
Pretty fast. It's been like a month or something since we stopped shooting. But I just like it. I like it short. I like it shaving my head, but I like it so I can get into a role.
Jimmy Fallon
Like a method.
Fred Armisen
A little tiny bit.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Do you know, like, a method actor? Do you get. Do you pretend you're Uncle Fester?
Fred Armisen
I didn't do that thing where, like, I'm set. I'm only. No, but, like, I really want to show up to work, like, looking like Uncle Fester.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Fred Armisen
You know, and sounding like him.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. And are people all just stopping on the street, be like, hey, Uncle Fester, Uncle Fester.
Fred Armisen
That's the biggest thing I've ever done.
Jimmy Fallon
Is it really?
Fred Armisen
Yep. Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
For real. For real. Honestly, like, you're signing pictures of you as Uncle Fester, like, whenever.
Fred Armisen
Yeah, Whenever, like, people want something signed, it'll be just like a stack of Uncle Festers.
Jimmy Fallon
That's fantastic. Did you ever think in your life that you would play Uncle Fester? I mean, Fred, you nailed it. I mean.
Fred Armisen
Oh, thanks. When I remember, like, when it was a rare thing, like, when they offered it to me, I was like, oh, I'm the right guy for that part. I just felt it.
Jimmy Fallon
You did? Yeah.
Fred Armisen
I usually don't have that much bravado, but for this, I was kind of like, I'm glad I'm doing it.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
And. And is it Tim Burton?
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
And you get to hang with Timber.
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
And Jenna Orte. You get to. I mean, the whole thing.
Fred Armisen
The whole thing.
Jimmy Fallon
That's so fun.
Fred Armisen
It's the best.
Jimmy Fallon
And so do you have anything do you can spoil that would ruin the season coming up?
Fred Armisen
Well, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna just break down every episode.
Jimmy Fallon
No, you don't. Yeah, yeah. Before. Let's open up. No, wait, hold on, hold on. Well, it's just. We'll get to other things first, then we'll talk about every episode.
Fred Armisen
Okay?
Jimmy Fallon
I promise. And I can't wait for it to come back next year. You were making your Broadway debut. That's what we have to talk about. This is a big deal.
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
All in.
Fred Armisen
But you're doing the show, too.
Jimmy Fallon
I'm doing.
Fred Armisen
Jimmy's doing the show.
Jimmy Fallon
Your name is in the who's who. You're in Playbill.
Fred Armisen
Little Freddie.
Jimmy Fallon
Little Freddie Armisen.
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
You made it. Thanks. Congratulations.
Fred Armisen
But they all know you're doing the show, too.
Jimmy Fallon
How do we describe it?
Fred Armisen
Ok.
Jimmy Fallon
I'm really nervous. I'm looking forward to it.
Fred Armisen
You have nothing to be nervous about. Simon Rich wrote it. So this writer, he's so funny. I worked with him on snl and it's just short stories. And we're reading them. We're just reading them. But there's a lot of sound design and it draws you into the writing. So this performance. But the pieces are so funny. Yeah, that.
Jimmy Fallon
Who's in your cast?
Fred Armisen
Richard Kind.
Jimmy Fallon
Love Richard Kind.
Fred Armisen
Renee Elise Goldsberry.
Jimmy Fallon
Yep. Genius. She's fantastic.
Fred Armisen
And John Mulaney.
Jimmy Fallon
John Mulaney, Yeah.
Fred Armisen
So great.
Jimmy Fallon
That's fantastic.
Fred Armisen
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Do you feel like you're in the theater now? You're in the Broadway?
Fred Armisen
Brand new to me. I've never done anything like it.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Fred Armisen
And it looks easy like when you go to see a show, but there's a. Just a lot of stuff.
Jimmy Fallon
It's a lot of stuff, right?
Fred Armisen
A lot of stuff.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, no. Oh, my gosh.
Fred Armisen
You'll do great. You're gonna do great.
Jimmy Fallon
You are too, you know. You're a great comedian. You're a good friend of the show. You're very talented musician, by the way. Oh, thank you. And yeah, every time you're here, you either bring a new musical impression or some type of impression, and you have a new one for us tonight.
Fred Armisen
Yes. So. So you've all gone to see concerts and stuff and, you know, there'll be like a drum solo in the middle of the show. Like, you'll see some band playing and then there's a drum solo. All drum solos are designed the same way. So I'm gonna break it down for you. I'm gonna break it down for you, like how drum solos work.
Jimmy Fallon
Okay, great. If you don't mind, do you need anything?
Fred Armisen
I need a drum kit.
Jimmy Fallon
We always have an extra drum kit ready for you just in case. Really? Yes. Can we bring it out? That's the drum kit right there.
Fred Armisen
Drum kit, yeah. So we're just gonna get there?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Andre 3000
Let's go over. Let's go over.
Jimmy Fallon
Thank you for doing this. I appreciate this.
Fred Armisen
How you doing, by the way?
Jimmy Fallon
I'm doing okay. Yeah? Is everything good?
Fred Armisen
All right, here we go.
Jimmy Fallon
So.
Fred Armisen
Thank you. Okay, so you've all gone to shows. Whenever you see a band play, everyone will be playing at the same time. So it's the band and the drummer. We'll be playing at a tempo that's kind of like in Here somewhere, just so that there's enough room to kind of like, do fills and stuff. So everyone's playing together, you know.
Jimmy Fallon
Just.
Fred Armisen
Like a regular groove. And then the band will drop out, right? So the band drops out and the drummer will do something super simplistic to throw off the audience. So it'll be a little bit of like. So the audience is like, oh, no, something went wrong. It's sort of throw you off. Then the drummer will put in some kick drum to bring the audience back in. No cymbals yet. Then it'll start getting busier, and it sounds like a real jump song. And it kind of builds up like that. And then the drummer will start playing parts of the drum kit that aren't usually played. Like. So you're going, whoa. I didn't know that was part of the drum set.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, I can't believe it. Whoa.
Fred Armisen
And then the drummer will start going into the cymbals so it becomes like a wash. So there's a. And every drum solo, just to get the band back into it. Every drum solo ends with this pattern and the band comes back in. So after the cymbals.
Jimmy Fallon
How do you do it? Brad Orbison, everybody. All In. Is playing now at the Austin Theater. Tickets are available@allinbroadway.com for tonight show, head to the break, Stick around, everybody. Our next guest is a very talented actress who stars in the new film Nosferatu, which is in theaters December 25th. Please welcome Lily Rose Depp. Welcome to the show. Thank you so much for being here.
Lily Rose Depp
Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here.
Jimmy Fallon
I know that you split your time between France and the United States. Yeah. Is France all decked out for the holidays? Do they do it like New York does?
Lily Rose Depp
It is. It's quite festive, but it's really nice and festive here, too. I love being here this time of year, right?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Do you like Christmas or Thanksgiving? What is your move?
Lily Rose Depp
I'm very holiday oriented. I love it all. But Thanksgiving is my favorite meal on earth.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yes, the best.
Lily Rose Depp
So we actually make Thanksgiving dinner for Christmas dinner at my house.
Jimmy Fallon
You just double down.
Lily Rose Depp
Double down. Double turkey.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Cause they probably don't celebrate Thanksgiving.
Lily Rose Depp
They don't. But whenever I've been in France for Thanksgiving, my mom will make Thanksgiving dinner to honor her American children.
Jimmy Fallon
See, that's a good mom. That's what I'm talking about. But you're bilingual and you've done a few films in France. Is there anything that you could teach me next time I Go back to France. That I could say to look like a local.
Lily Rose Depp
They'll love this one. So if you ever. If you're in France and you feel like you're in a situation, there's like maybe something fishy going on, something that you're. You're not sure, but there's something weird. Yeah, you can say Yangis sur Roche, which means.
Jimmy Fallon
I can say that.
Lily Rose Depp
Yeah, you can say. You can say that was really good. And it means literally there is. There are eels under the rocks. Which you know, loosely translates to, you know, there's something weird going on.
Jimmy Fallon
Eels under the rocks. Yeah, that's a great one.
Lily Rose Depp
Pull that one. You'll get some local points.
Jimmy Fallon
Hey, I love that one. I didn't expect for you to do that one at all. You've done a lot of really fun things in your career. I know. One thing is you're in some music videos and you're in another music video right now for 070 shakes in your song. Here's you in the video. Do you like doing music videos?
Lily Rose Depp
I love doing this one. This one was really special because, you know, obviously I, I love the song, I love the artist and. And yeah, it was a real family affair. It was cute. My friend Ben Watanabe directed it, who's married to my best friend and then the DP is engaged to my other best friend.
Fred Armisen
What?
Lily Rose Depp
And my other best friend Spencer Singer styled it and so, yeah, so many cool friends. I have a lot.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh my God, that's fantastic.
Lily Rose Depp
I'm a little.
Jimmy Fallon
You've always been into music. I read somewhere and I don't know if this is true that you started a band when you were six.
Lily Rose Depp
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
Now what does a six year old band like? What do they write about?
Lily Rose Depp
Well, we actually had quite a specific creative direction. We were called the Pink Elephants and it was all about elephants with the whole thing. So me and my childhood best friend Harley Quinn Smith, who I did my first movie with, we were both all about elephants as kids and she had this like pink elephant stuffed animal. It was highly coveted in the group. Everybody was like, that is the coolest one, the coolest stuffed animal. So we kind of created this whole group around the stuffy. Yeah, the Pink Elephants. We had this one song that we were working on called Elephant Love, but I don't think six year old fan. No, yeah, yeah. Really profound stuff. I don't know. I don't think we ever actually finished this song. But at some point the band had to break up and we didn't quite go all the way.
Jimmy Fallon
How did that meeting go?
Lily Rose Depp
I have like a very faint memory of it. Obviously it was pre cell phone or anything like that. So I feel like I probably had my mom call like Harley's mom and connect us. And then I feel like I was like away and probably said something like, you know, I'm not able to be present right now for the band. So I feel like, you know, not.
Jimmy Fallon
In be present for the Pink Elephant.
Lily Rose Depp
Yeah. And it deserves more than I can give it right now.
Jimmy Fallon
I love this little six year old meeting.
Lily Rose Depp
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Any chance that you'll see a reunion of the band? Tour?
Lily Rose Depp
You never know.
Jimmy Fallon
Tour next summer.
Lily Rose Depp
Never say never.
Jimmy Fallon
Coachella look out.
Lily Rose Depp
Yeah, yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Here we go.
Lily Rose Depp
You never know.
Jimmy Fallon
Let's talk about your new movie, Nosferatu. You're getting rave reviews, by the way. Congratulations on this. Thank you so much. Great performance. Thank you. Were you always a fan of the story? Do you know the.
Lily Rose Depp
Yeah, I was always a fan of the Dracula tale. My brother and I were obsessed with Abbott and Costello as kids.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yeah, me too.
Lily Rose Depp
And you know, they have a whole like meet the Monsters series. We particularly were drawn to the Meet Dracula one, the Bela Lugosi. And my brother was like three or four at the time and he started dressing up like Dracula and doing these kind of like really serious line readings of the lines. So in a way, I grew up as like older sister to Dracula.
Jimmy Fallon
Wow.
Lily Rose Depp
So this is in a weird way.
Jimmy Fallon
A little full circle.
Lily Rose Depp
So it's totally full circle. When I heard that, you know, when I got the opportun to audition for this movie, I thought, like, you know, have full circle and maybe I'll get some cool points with my bro.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. And did you?
Lily Rose Depp
I think so. I mean, he saw the.
Jimmy Fallon
Not a fan of Pink Elephant, but he's like this Nosferatu.
Lily Rose Depp
This I can vibe with.
Jimmy Fallon
Whoa. Come on. Lily Rose Death. Nosferatu is in theaters December 25th. We'll be right back with Andre 3000. Stick around, everybody.
Bruce Springsteen
Yes, y'all to the beat all party Having people guaranteed to be like having a ball it don't stop keep on rocking in the free world Even though everything ain't free form It's a major key form Pink pong all the way to reform some brothers up in this didn't even.
Jimmy Fallon
Our next guest is a nine time Grammy winning multi platinum artist whose new album New Blue sun has been nominated for three Grammys, including album of the year. Everyone please welcome Andre 3000. They love you. They love you. Come on. We love you. They love you, we love. Congratulations.
Andre 3000
Welcome back.
Jimmy Fallon
Thanks for being on the show. Congrats. Thanks for having me on the album. I can't wait to ask you about this. I mean, this is your first solo album, and it's been nominated for three Grammys, including album of the year. Yeah.
Andre 3000
Thank you. Thank you.
Jimmy Fallon
How does it feel?
Andre 3000
It feels. Feels awesome just to be recording and putting out music. But it says a solo album, but it's definitely a collective effort. That's just the name. Andre 3.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, it's just the name. Yeah. But this is different than your previous albums. This is not a rap album, right? No, it is not.
Andre 3000
No.
Jimmy Fallon
So how would you describe the sound?
Andre 3000
Very open, trusting, free form. Yeah. Exploration. That's what it is.
Jimmy Fallon
I thought it was one of the coolest moves ever done in music. I was like. When it came out, people were like, wait, what is this? I mean, they really were. I mean, the first track is called I Swear I really wanted to make a rap album, but this literally is the way the wind blew me this time. That's the name of the song.
Andre 3000
That is very real. Very. I mean, I know y'all laughing at it, but it's.
Jimmy Fallon
I know it is.
Andre 3000
It is very, very honest. Cause this whole time, I have been, you know, still producing, making beats, and trying to actually do a vocal rap kind of situation. Cause I'm still a fan of rap, but that's. That wasn't on tap right now and just happened to be what I was doing at the time. So I was like, I enjoyed it. Let me share it.
Jimmy Fallon
Did anyone try to talk you out of it?
Andre 3000
No.
Jimmy Fallon
No.
Andre 3000
It's not like you just recorded. And I let my homies hear it. I let, you know, big boy hear it. I let Rico Ray Pat organize noise, shout out to Ric.
Jimmy Fallon
I mean, you even put it on the back of the album. Warning, no bars. You're letting everyone know there are no bars. I do not rap on this album. Them.
Andre 3000
Yeah, we. We tried, but we didn't do a great job.
Jimmy Fallon
He could have made the warning a little bigger. Yeah, yeah.
Andre 3000
No, I mean, you. You had some people that are really, really angry at me, man.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Andre 3000
Yeah. It was like I was listening to it, and I was waiting for some. Some lyrics to come in. And. Yeah, that's.
Jimmy Fallon
There are no lyrics.
Andre 3000
There are no lyrics.
Jimmy Fallon
But it's so. It's so different and great. And there's. There's different wind instruments and. And. And flutes. How long have you been. Been playing the flute?
Andre 3000
I've been playing the particular flute that got Me down this path for about seven years. But I've always been into wind instruments, even during outcast times.
Jimmy Fallon
Have lessons. I took clarinet when I was in grade school.
Andre 3000
I'm not good at lessons at all. Like, I've. I've took bass clarinet lessons for a little while and I kind of just picked it up. And a saxophone was the first thing I picked up. And I just had a natural armature I could actually play as soon as I picked it up. And I was like, oh, this is fun. And so it was really just exploring it. And then Coltrane got me to playing a clarinet. Clarinet got me to playing a bass clarinet. Then once I hit wood, I never went back to metal. So I think. So when I discovered, like the Mesoamerican, like indigenous flutes, they just rang a little bit truer for me.
Jimmy Fallon
And there was a thing. I don't know if you know about this, but there was a whole thing on the Internet of people finding you or like going, wait, I think I just ran into Andre 3000 playing his flute. Like you would play at like a gas station and stuff or a Starbucks or at an airport.
Andre 3000
Yeah, it's kind of like, you know when you have your phone and you usually just, you know, scrolling, looking at. I'll play flute. So it'll just be something I'll do if I'm waiting on my coffee to get made or something like that.
Jimmy Fallon
I started playing the flute.
Andre 3000
Yeah. Yeah. And it was crazy. Cause I was spending a lot of time in Philly working on a film. And so I would walk around Philly playing a lot. And so. And so people, like, people would stop me in the street and they were like, you know, it's a game now. It's like, you know, people are trying to find you. And we'll tweet and we'll say, well, he's at this park, you know, and then. Cause I'll be sitting in the park playing for a while, you know, Just.
Jimmy Fallon
Because no one knew what was going on, they're like, I didn't even know that you played the flute.
Andre 3000
Yeah. So it was kind of like, I guess. I don't know. I don't know.
Jimmy Fallon
But some of these track lists. This one's called that Night in Hawaii when I turned into a Panther and started making these low register purring tones that I couldn't control. Well, that's interesting. That is Iwaram93 till infinity and Beyonce.
Andre 3000
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
That'S fantastic. I like ants to you, Gods to who? Yeah, that's a great one. It's just so good and different. And you said every performance is a little different. Nothing's the same.
Andre 3000
Yeah. Yeah. We are trusting. So before we go out, you know, we get in our huddle and we just look at each other, you know, touch each other's shoulder and say, fly free. And that's what we're trying to do. We're trying to really fly free with it. And the reward is much different because you have to listen every second to know what's happening. And it's just a different muscle, different exercise than going and, you know, performing verses and choruses that you've written.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Andre 3000
You know, it's just a different, different type of thing. Both are rewarding in their own ways, but this is kind, I guess where I was in my life in this tempo and volume, where I am at this age, it just felt appropriate.
Jimmy Fallon
Thanks for trusting our show to perform and do this for us tonight. No.
Andre 3000
Thank you for having us.
Jimmy Fallon
A lot of people are going to be like, yeah, I'm so happy. Congrats on all the. All the award nods. I know these Andre 3000, everybody. New blue sun is out now Stick around.
Bruce Springsteen
Yeah, nine, five, he made the world Illinois Jones on our top and talk about the damn boys. The windows gonna drop. That's them. The waps look like Big Ben When I rock the mic, I get raw. I'm like somebody that's kind of ticked off.
Jimmy Fallon
My thanks to Fred Armisen, Lily Rose, Depp, Andre 3000 once again, and the Roots right there from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Good night, everybody.
Bruce Springsteen
Got involved Better get involved get involved.
Jimmy Fallon
