Meanwhile, a new poll found that Trump's approval rating on immigration has dropped to a record low. Yeah, I'm not saying it's bad, but heated rivalry has a higher approval rating at the Vatican. It's bad. Hey, well, get this. A class action settlement is now being paid out to iPhone users who claim Siri eavesdropped on their conversations. People were like, I feel so violated. He came, talked to me for like a half hour at my dad and gave me advice like, jimmy, I think you got something. You're good. Like, keep working, keep writing. You know, don't worry if you bomb. I can't close the jacket. My wife's not happy about that. I cannot. It's not even. And it's not even close, by the way. It's not even close. I tried back there. I panicked. And I was like, don't. Just don't do it. So you wouldn't have known, hopefully, if I didn't tell you. But I did tell you. It's out.

But what's the idea behind the new style?

It's just trying to be a leading man. You gotta be that leading man. You've done it before. I've never done a romantic comedy where I've been a leading man. Like Fever Pitch. You have? No, no. Oh, no.

Dude, it's hilarious. It's so fun. I think people are gonna love it. If you like people we meet on vacation, it's like those destination type of romantic comedies. This is it. And it's super hilarious. And you got to film it in Italy.

It was so different. I had it there and it was almost like a chocolate pudding thing. And I'm not kidding. I gained 30 pounds while we were. I wish I was joking. The directors were like, you gotta stop, man. We can't even. We can't even hide this Anymore I was changing daily. Like they were like, you look different than yesterday.

[Kevin James]

Why? I just kept eating all the food there. Cause all I hear is they say if you eat the food in Italy, you'll never gain weight because it's like chemical free. Yes, I am and all that. And I want to find out who they are because I want to punch them in the face.

That's not true.

[Kevin James]

I gained a ton of weight and now I'm trying to get back to what I look like when I was in the movie. So I have to try to do it quick since it's coming out. It was. I'm not kidding.

Well, no, the movies come out. You look great in the movie. You look great now. Thank you.

You're over in Italy doing this and working hard and being funny. Did you miss anything about America while you were in Italy?

You do miss things, you know, when you fly and there's the plugs that are different and the money's different. I gotta say, peanut butter, they don't have. No, they don't know. They don't know peanut butter. And they don't.

They didn't figure it out.

And all the Italian food's great, but if you don't have peanut butter within like a month, you start losing your mind. And I was so happy to be American because that's. We make it so good here.

But what are you getting in shape for for, for now?

Well, I have to get in shape because I'm doing a movie with. With jelly roll. You know that?

Yes. And he, he lost like 300 pounds.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Oh yeah. He looks great.

Oh, he lost so much. And it's literally like I'm finding everything he's dropping and I'm like, if no one's using this, I'm just gonna stick it on me. So I have to get in shape. We're supposed to do a movie. It's a real movie where it's like we're in prison and it's like we're in shape. And he's committed to his side of the bargain.

And how much time do you have?

[Kevin James]

I got seven months, which I joined a group of guys, I made a group of guys. We have these faith based guys. Like these guys that I got in my life, really good guys that are going to help me keep accountable and we started January 1st, and we're going seven months. It's called the Magnanimous Seven. And it's. Yes, we're all doing like. It's like push ups and these things you got to do and everything like that. And the Dolce diet is part of that. And it's. I. I started. And in seven months, I'm telling you right now, you will not recognize me. Like, I'm gonna be. And now it's accountable. Now I'm accountable because I'm gonna come back on the show, like July 4th or whatever it is around that area, and I'm gonna be so different right now. But I'm gonna be honest. We started January 1st. I'm up seven already. So that I'm not.

This is a disaster.

I'm in trouble.

That's really funny. Yeah, that's a really funny premise. You're like, hey, I paid for this. I'm gonna do it.

Yeah. Everything's bad. All's lost. And I meet some crazy people.

Like, who knows? And they were like, okay. Well, you know the one thing you have to do, you have to wear white every day. You have to always have your nails done. And so one day, it was a day that I never could have projected. We were packing. And I'm the worst version of myself when I'm packing. I've never learned how to pack well. I am always terrified, as though it's my first time. There's, like, clothes everywhere. Like, I don't know if you guys. There's no good way to pack. I don't know. Maybe this is just me.

So clothing is everywhere. I'm in a big T shirt, no makeup, hair still kind of wet from the shower, and I'm, like, running around like a little creature in our house. And he does that thing. I don't know if you guys. I feel like every girl knows this with their partner, where I'm, like, in the hallway, and he does that thing, like, the. That, like, boyfriend. The boyfriend face of, like, I love this little silly creature that is in my life. Right?

I wasn't gonna do anything because, I don't know, like, I'm a Capricorn. And so for me, I hate to celebrate myself. And so everybody. All my friends were like. They had me locked in a closet, being like, it's your 30th birthday. Like, you have to host a party. And I was like, 30? Yeah. And so I wasn't gonna do it. And then the day before my birthday, I was like, it. I'll text everybody who's in town. And I just told them, like, don't get dressed. I will be providing the pajamas. Don't do your hair nicely. I will be providing the wigs. And we just had, like, a nice little pajama party.

You had a wig and pajama party?

Yeah.

He likes the first movie because he thinks, like, the original is, we couldn't beat it. We couldn't top it. But he really likes. He likes all the music. I've caught him listening to it on his own, like, once I.

So I have been working on an album for a very, very long time, and I've been wanting to release it in a number of different iterations that I've had it completed in now. Because it's been two years. Jimmy. It's been two years.

Oh, yes, I know. Duh.

And I recently, as in, like, last week, got. Finally got the green light from my label that they say this year's the year to release finally my debut album.

I'm excited for that. Let's talk about your new show. Thanks. 56 days. This is based on the bestselling book of the same name. The trailer, by the way. The trailer alone has over 80 million views. Congratulations just came out. Congratulations.

That's a big deal. Yeah. Wow.

There's a moment in the first episode where it's almost like a. I'd say almost like a Titanic scene, except you're standing in front of, like, an industrial fan. Explain the scene to me. Okay, well, I know the scene, but explain it to the world.

Okay, so in this scene, Oliver works in construction. And so he's like, have you ever been skydiving? And she's like, no, I've never been skydiving. He's like, you want me to teach you how to.

[Jimmy Fallon]

How?

[Dove Cameron]

You want me to show you the feeling of skydiving? And she's like, what, are you gonna push me off a cliff? And then he's like, better? And he takes her to this construction zone site. And it's really romantic, but to me, it makes me giggle. And they, like, fall into this big industrial fan, which looks like. Yeah, exactly.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Just flying.

[Dove Cameron]

Oh, my God. You're an actor.

You're an actor. But it's. It was something that looked really easy in theory, but for, like, safety standards and practices, we couldn't just be leaning on this huge industrial fan. So off screen, we are hooked into ski boots attached to skis.

That's hilarious. It is kind of the most unromantic.

[Dove Cameron]

It's the most unromantic thing, especially because we can't move. So you see us embracing the sky.

They call cut forward.

Yeah, they call cut. And we're like, yeah.

Oh my gosh, you're full of Michael Jackson. I love it.

It's so funny.

But it's a psychological thriller. You guys are going to love this, the idea of it. It's two young people who meet and they kind of fall in love super fast. And then you cut to, there's cops in the apartment and there's a dead body in the bathtub. And you don't know who it is. Is it him? Is it her? Did he kill her? Did she kill him?
