Sure, that's easy to say when you work from home. Trump was like, some people might have to switch from writing in new limousines to slightly older ones. But a lot of people were talking about this over the weekend. Trump said that joking about seeking a third term in office. In fact, he's already working on some slogans for another run. I'm going to show you what I mean. First, there's Trump 28. I edited the Constitution with a Sharpie and the donstitution says it's legal. Wow. The donstitution.
Jack Black

Here's another one. Trump 28. Greenland is now worth 300 electoral votes. Then there's Trump 28. It's totally legal according to new Supreme Court justices Jake and Logan Paul. And finally, Trump 28. If you vote for me, I'll add you to the top secret group chat. Come on. Emoji me, baby. For Peter Bat.
Jack Black
Ah, fungo.
Jimmy Fallon
Get this. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said that he certainly believes that there's enough room on Mount Rushmore for President Trump's face. It just depends on if they carve how Trump looks or how Trump thinks he looks. That's while switching gears, I saw that Starbucks just rolled out a line of limited edition Peanuts inspired merchandise that features all the characters like Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock. Asked to comment, a Starbucks spokesman said, did you guys see this? The streaming service Max just Launched a new logo. Ooh, yeah. Ready? Here's the original one. And here is the new one. Here to discuss this change, please welcome, via satellite, head of graphic design at Max, Owen Cassidy. Owen, welcome to the show.
Jack Black
Thanks for having me.
Jimmy Fallon
Owen, break down for us the creative process you used when reimagining the Max logo.
Jack Black
For sure, Jimmy. So I took away the color.
Jimmy Fallon
Thank you very much. There he is. Thank you very, very much from the graphic design team. Well, this is wild. I heard that officials just seized a submarine in the Atlantic Ocean that was filled with over six and a half tons of cocaine. Ooh, yeah. A sub filled with cocaine. Or as it's known at Blimpy's, the number five. Some sports news. We are in full March Madness now with Duke, Florida, Houston and Auburn all headed for the Final Four. So we sent one of our writers, Deon, down to the tournament to see if people would help him sing the March Madness song. The only catch. There is no March Madness song. He's just making it up. But let's see how they did. We're out here in the middle of March Madness and we're tearing it up. Jimmy, we're gonna ask some people if they can help us sing Jimmy the March Madness song. Will you guys help me sing the March Madness song?
Jack Black
We don't know what that is.
Jimmy Fallon
I don't know what it is. I have no idea what that song is.
Britt Lauer
There's a March Madness song?
Jimmy Fallon
March Madness makes me mad Basketball with the Cooper the final Four's here yeah, yeah, yeah Guess what's happening Woo, woo, woo Basketball is Basketball is my name here's what the coach says when he's down get your best players in if you want to win a round Basketball means this to me A lot of.

Britt Lauer
Like I'm gonna have to drink myself to sleep.
Jimmy Fallon
The astronauts will they splash down 9 months floating all around. Hey, team, welcome back from space. The new thing is rubbing a banana peel on your face. Elon has been going nuts. He's also hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. Please welcome the one, the only, Jack Black. Thank you. Oh, my goodness. That is Jack Black. That's how you make an entrance. You bring. You bring the heat, you bring the energy.
Jack Black
I didn't bring a belt.
Jimmy Fallon
I'm sorry about that. That's what I didn't bring. Welcome. Welcome back. We'll figure it. We'll figure. We'll fix that in post. Now, look, you're hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. Saturday Night Live with Elton John and Brandi Carlisle. Come on. That's sick.
Jack Black
It's insane.
Jimmy Fallon
Talk to me. I mean, you love. I know for a fact you love Elton John. Them together. Brandi Carlisle's Brandon Carlisle is incredible, brilliant together.
Jack Black
It's gonna be Elton John, legend.
Jimmy Fallon
And you hosted the show 20 years ago, dude.
Jack Black
The first time I hosted. Cause I've hosted thrice. I don't want to toot my own horn.
Jimmy Fallon
Thrice.
Jack Black
I remember it was like 25 years ago and I think the musical guest was the Strokes.
Jimmy Fallon
You remember and you remember, like, one.
Jack Black
Of the first times we ever met, you were opening for the Strokes, right?
Jimmy Fallon
Yes, I remember this. I remember it was my favorite thing because we were opening for the Strokes and I was singing do they know it's Christmas? Yes, And I don't even know if it was around Christmas time, but you were in the audience and I saw you go, dude, we're doing. Do they Know It's Christmas? If you want to get up. And you jumped on stage and crushed it.
Jack Black
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Roseland Ballroom, I think it was. Yeah. And it was great. And you killed it. That was 25 years ago.
Jack Black
We go way back to the beginning of entertainment, you and I, because I did jamming and rocking in a comedic way since, like, the 99s.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes. I remember seeing you at Apple Pen years ago. Yeah. And I was like, dude, I'm the biggest fan of Tenacious D. I love you. And, dude, you were just crushing it. This is. God, that's 30 years ago.
Jack Black
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
But, dude, look at you now, buddy. Come on, you're crushing. Look at you.
Jack Black
Look at both of us.
Jimmy Fallon
Come on. A Minecraft movie. Minecraft.
Jack Black
Minecraft, yes.
Jimmy Fallon
Minecraft's one of my favorite video games out there. I do love it. I think it's very apropos that you're doing a Minecraft movie because I think your career started as a video game commercial. It did. If I'm correct.
Jack Black
My first job was. Yeah. For a game called Pitfall On Atari.
Jimmy Fallon
Atari 2600.
Jack Black
Very first video game. Great game for a home system. Yeah. The home system with Atari. And it was like a jungle themed video game. And the graphics were breakthrough at the time. It was like, whoa, there's an actual person. And of course, it's super primitive.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. And the vine is going back and you have the jump on the vine. But you were.
Jack Black
Yeah, it was super fun.
Jimmy Fallon
Pitfall Harry.
Jack Black
That's right. Just last night I was lost in a jungle with Pitfall Harry.
Jimmy Fallon
Is that rad? Is that not the best thing I've ever seen? That's so cool. Yeah, you're. Come on, look at. You're a headshot here. You're just 13.
Jack Black
You got my headshot.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, I got nothing but your headshots, man.
Jack Black
You know what you don't have, though? I had a headshot. Where on the back, it showed activities that I could do if needed. Like, I had me eating cereal and me riding a skateboard. And me riding a unicycle.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, but look at this. Other of my Jack Black headshot collection.
Jack Black
Oh, you got my stud muffin. Look. Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Ooh. What's he all about? Well, he's mysterious.
Jack Black
That was back in the day. That was around the time that the Outsiders came out. Remember that movie?
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yeah.
Jack Black
And every young actor's dream was to Be in like an outsiders type movie where you were kind of cool from the wrong side of the tracks. Maybe you were in a gang in a cool way.
Jimmy Fallon
That's you.
Jack Black
That's what I was going for.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Not bad. But here we are. Minecraft movie. You Jason Momoa. Man, it's fun. My daughters all have friends, they have dates this weekend. They're all going out April 4th. They're all going out to theaters. It's a big deal in our school. Nice. Every kid is gonna see Minecraft. I'm so excited about this. I love that game. I think it's fun. I think it's creative. Do your boys still play Minecraft? No.
Jack Black
Yeah. No. They were onto Minecraft like 10 years ago, way before the movie was even talked about. And I learned how to play Minecraft just cause I wanted to speak of their language.
Jimmy Fallon
Ah.
Jack Black
And it's hard, man. It took me like I'm a gamer and it still took me a few days before I could crack the code. It was like 10 YouTube video tutorials before I knew what the hell I was doing. But it's.
Jimmy Fallon
See, I still don't know what that.
Jack Black
Is, but it's about building. It's kind of like Legos where you build structures and you mine for materials and. Yeah. I started building a castle on top of a mountain. Really, really fun. Cool stuff.
Jimmy Fallon
It's the greatest. Not only do you act in this and was it Jared?
Jack Black
Jared Hess.
Jimmy Fallon
Jared Hess from Nacho Libre. Nacho Libre, dude. He's a great director, great writer.
Jack Black
That's my guy.
Jimmy Fallon
He wrote it, directed it.
Jack Black
And Napoleon Dynamite.
Jimmy Fallon
And Napoleon Dynamite, yeah. Another. Another movie that you might have heard of. It's. It's so fun for the family. But not only is it you being super funny and Jason Momoa in action and colors and Minecraft, but there's also great music in this.
Jack Black
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
You and you, dude. You put some original songs here.
Jack Black
I got some little nuggets. Sprinkling of musical nuggets. And a big showstopper with. They wanted a song at the end of the movie that wraps up the whole. I was like, I can't do that. And they got the guys that wrote. I'm just Ken.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes.
Jack Black
From Barbie. And I was like, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes, Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson on it.
Jack Black
And wrote it together. And it's really.
Jimmy Fallon
No. Get ready for it. It's so good. Jack Black. Go see a Minecraft movie in theaters and IMAX this Friday. We'll be right back with Britt Lauer. Stick around everybody. Yes. You want to the beat O party. Having people guaranteed to be like having a ball. You don' Our next guest is a very talented actress who stars in one of the biggest shows on television, Severance. All of season two is streaming now on Apple tv. Please welcome Britt Lauer. Britt Lauer. Ah. I'm a big fan. Welcome to the show. Thanks for coming on.
Britt Lauer
I'm so happy to be here.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, good. Me too. Me too. Thanks. Two of us here. Congrats on Severance, by the way. Everybody's talking about this. It is so well done. No spoilers. You just came back from Europe. You were doing a big tour, a press tour over there. Yeah. It got out of control. It was fantastic. They're giant balloons.
Britt Lauer
It was so fun.
Jimmy Fallon
And now you're back in New York. Does it feel to be back in America?
Britt Lauer
I mean, I just have to say we're kind of in a collective state of awe, the cast and crew, at how the show has been received. We're so grateful.
Jimmy Fallon
It's massive.
Britt Lauer
Hard to comprehend. Yeah. And it's so good to be back in New York. I just saw two women skipping towards each other on the sidewalk because it's spring.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, it is spring in New York. Yes.
Britt Lauer
They were like, arms outstretched, like, skipping.
Jimmy Fallon
Only in New York does that happen. Yeah, people are skipping, like, yes, it's spring. Yes. We tried a couple weeks ago. There was a rumor that it was spring and it wasn't, but everyone was. Everyone was kind of excited. They're like, it's not. It's freezing. Yeah, it's still cold today. It was spring. Yeah, it was gorgeous. I love it.
Britt Lauer
Okay, so I'm also excited to be in New York because I have two films coming out this week in New York.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, my God. Which one?
Britt Lauer
Okay, so Wednesday I have a film called Psychotherapy coming out at the ifc, and it's where Steve Buscemi plays a retired serial killer who accidentally becomes John Magaro and I's marriage counselor. So that's really fun.
Jimmy Fallon
That's fantastic.
Britt Lauer
Really fun.
Jimmy Fallon
That's good. Steve Buscemi.
Britt Lauer
And then on Friday, I have a film coming out called Darkest Miriam. It's about a librarian who falls in a hole and opens her heart. And that's coming out at the Roxy.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, my gosh. Busy, busy, busy. Can we talk about, too? Like, I know that at one point you thought about maybe going professional at basketball.
Britt Lauer
Well, I dreamt of it.
Jimmy Fallon
You dreamt of it? Yeah. But you were really good. Look at this. Come on, give it up now. You had dreams of going all the way? No.
Britt Lauer
Yeah. I mean, I would have loved to have been in the wnba, but I was a little too short.
Jimmy Fallon
You were.
Britt Lauer
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, but you said it. But I read somewhere that you said this helped with severance.
Britt Lauer
Yeah. You know, we do a lot of running through hallways, especially season one, and there's marks on the floor. You're working with the camera team, you're working with the other actors. And it really feels like Ben Stiller's the coach and we're all learning our play.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. And you a coach. Tell us, where do we go?
Britt Lauer
Coach put me in.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Also, he's a big basketball fan, too.
Britt Lauer
Huge.
Jimmy Fallon
Stiller loves basketball.
Britt Lauer
Yeah, he's like the mayor of the Knicks.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes, he is. He's always at the Nick games.
Britt Lauer
Am I allowed to say that?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, of course. Yeah, it's him. It's him. Spike Lee and Tracy Morgan. I mean. Yeah, they're always there. Season two, by the way, has been breaking viewing records on Apple tv. Congratulations. That's the number, number one show they've ever released. Out of every show combined, you're the number one show. It's massive. And one of the most popular episodes this season. Again, no spoilers. Took place in the woods.
Britt Lauer
Yep.
Jimmy Fallon
And everyone's so used to seeing you guys only in the office. How was the woods filming?
Britt Lauer
Well, I love being outside. And we all did. It was this very actual team building experience. But we're kind of out of our routine. We were on a mountain most of the time, and it was cold. And a little bit about me and my routine. I like to have a smoothie in the morning.
Jimmy Fallon
Ooh, tell me more.
Britt Lauer
Blueberry. Okay, this is gonna.
Jimmy Fallon
Blueberry.
Britt Lauer
Yeah, Blueberry Banana. Yes, write it down. Protein powder.
Jimmy Fallon
Ooh.
Britt Lauer
Okay. So typically I have that in the morning and it powers me through all day.
Jimmy Fallon
Gotcha.
Britt Lauer
But it's cold. You don't wanna have a smoothie in the morning when it's cold.
Jimmy Fallon
No.
Britt Lauer
So I have them make it for me and put it in my trailer and I'm gonna have it at lunch, Right?
Jimmy Fallon
Ah, keep it going through the day. They give you the energy.
Britt Lauer
That's right.
Jimmy Fallon
That's very cool.
Britt Lauer
But it becomes lunchtime and I haven't had any food yet, you know, and I'm so hungry, I run to my trailer. And the smoothie was made in one of those little ninja bullets, right?
Jimmy Fallon
Yes.
Britt Lauer
Like the travel kind.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, I know those cups.
Britt Lauer
And I drank it so fast.
Jimmy Fallon
Good.
Britt Lauer
I was so hung. Good, right?
Jimmy Fallon
Yes.
Britt Lauer
I'm Getting my.
Jimmy Fallon
You want your energy nutrients, you've got to be out there and crush it like you do on severance.
Britt Lauer
That's right.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Britt Lauer
But about three quarters of the way through the smoothie. Jimmy, this is. This is scary. Okay? I start feeling little bits of something.
Jimmy Fallon
In my mouth, and I'm like, snap those nanas.
Britt Lauer
That's not a banana.
Jimmy Fallon
Blueberries.
Britt Lauer
Is it BlackBerry seeds. No, wait, it's clear. Is it salt? What is that? And I start fishing through the bullet, and I see three words floating around. The words, do not an eat. And sure enough, I pull it out, and it's a silica gel packet.
Jimmy Fallon
No.
Britt Lauer
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
What'd you do?
Britt Lauer
Well, I had just drank it. Drank. Drank it.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, my God. Are you freaking out?
Britt Lauer
So at least I hadn't eaten it. I drank it.
Jimmy Fallon
Still bad. Still bad.
Britt Lauer
But I'm panicking.
Jimmy Fallon
Do not eat you. I didn't, technically.
Britt Lauer
Exactly.
Jimmy Fallon
I drank you instead.
Britt Lauer
But you know, what do you do when you're maybe poisoned? You start Googling your. Googling.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Britt Lauer
You go, but there's no WI fi because we're on a mountain. So you do the next best thing. You text your friends. There was enough signal to get out. I'm texting everyone. I was like. I just. Like, maybe these are my last moments.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes. I just ate the thing that says do not eat.
Britt Lauer
Do not eat.
Jimmy Fallon
I ate it.
Britt Lauer
I ate it.
Jimmy Fallon
Wow.
Britt Lauer
I get a text back from a friend who has a kid, and they say, don't worry. My son ate one last year. The doctor says, it's okay.
Jimmy Fallon
All right. And you made it through.
Britt Lauer
I made it through. And to this day, when my friends see me, you know, they'll be like, are you hungry?
Jimmy Fallon
You brought one for me?
Britt Lauer
Yeah. That's just.
Jimmy Fallon
That is so thoughtful.
Britt Lauer
It's like a little maraca.
Jimmy Fallon
That is so thoughtful. Thank you so much. It is. It is like a little maraca. Thank you very, very much for this.
Britt Lauer
So now you know someone who ate one.
Jack Black
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
You survived. Okay. And you're all right. I'm gonna keep this. I'm gonna keep this. I love that. Let's talk about what. The finale again. No spoilers, but it's going down as one of the best finales in history. People are freaking out about it. I'll explain the show really quickly, in case you haven't seen it yet. Basically, there's a work life and a outside of work life, and when you're in work, you're an innie, and outside of work life, you're an outie.
Britt Lauer
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Britt Lauer
And so I'm so glad you did that for me.
Jimmy Fallon
Right. You always have to do it, but it's. It's genius the way it's done. Cause, like, you don't know what's happening outside. And outside, you don't know what's happening inside at work. No. No spoilers. But I will say there's something that everyone's talking about. It's already on the Internet, so I'm not spoiling it, but there's a thing involving a marching band, and I did a little research on you, and I found that you were actually in the marching band when you were in high school.
Britt Lauer
Yes. So I grew up in a really small farm town, and that meant that everyone had to do all of the extracurricular activities in order to field all of the teams. So I would often be playing basketball, and then I'd go to speech team practice and, like, practice my original oratory in my basketball shoes. I was also a cheerleader, and at halftime of the football games, I would run and grab my trumpet and march with the marching band. That's what you have to do wearing my cheerleading outfit.
Jimmy Fallon
Brent Lauer, everybody. My thanks to Jack Black. Brent Lauer and the Roots are out there from Philadelphia. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hello, Roots. Good night, everybody. There you go.
