From Studio 6P, Rockefeller center in the heart of New York City, this is Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon. Tonight showing Jimmy and his guest, Zendaya and Robert Pattins and the legendary Roost crew, 2276. And now here he is, Jimmy Palace. Now, Come on now. Hey, thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.
Come on.
Thank you very much, everybody. Enjoy yourself.
Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Tonight Show.
You're here.
I'm very excited about this.
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are here tonight.
Right now, the entire crowd is like, jimmy, if you say April Fools, we will destroy you. No, it's real. Zendaya and Robert star in a new movie called the Drama. This is where they play a couple whose relationship is two when a shocking secret is revealed. Kristi Noem heard and was like, can't be that shocking.
Regé-Jean Page
Yep.
Jimmy Fallon
Zendaya stars in the drama, and later this year, she's In Dune Part 3, Spider Man, Brand New Day, and the Odyssey. Pedro Pascal was like, game recognized game. All right, here we go to some news. Well, guys, this morning President Trump made history by becoming the first sitting US President to show up for opening arguments at the Supreme Court. Yep. Trump was excited. It's the first time he's been in court without the chance of going to jail. Meanwhile, Trump stormed out 13 minutes into the opposing argument. Yep. The last time Trump walked out of something after 13 minutes, it was the Melania movie. Yep. Trump left the Supreme Court pretty upset. And he got even more mad when he found out there was no supreme food court either. He's like, why don't I smell Panda Express? What's going on? Get this. Trump just announced that he's going to renovate the reflecting pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. More and more, it feels like he was the elected president of hgtv. Don't you think? I like an open concept kitchen. And, well, it's been a rough couple weeks for Trump, and now his approval rating has hit a new low. In response, Trump said, these numbers don't add up for me, but I'm just gonna plow ahead. And everyone using TurboTax said, numbers don't add up, but you're just gonna plow ahead. Join the club. Huh? Then Trump said, it's not a pretty picture, but I'm doing what I like. Then Kristi Noem's husband said, not a pretty picture, but you're doing what you like. Join the club, buddy. Trump said, I used to be so popular. I can't believe it's come to this. Then everyone on the Masked Singer said, used to be popular. Can't believe it's come to this. Join the club, bud. And Trump said, it's hard to digest, it hurts, and it's taking a toll on my body. Then Marshmallow Peeps said, hard to digest, it hurts and taking a toll on your body. Join the club, bud. And Trump said, I'll just lay low and hope no one sees the panic on my face. Then the picture of Prince Andrew being arrested said, lay low and hope no one sees the panic on your face. Join the club, bud. And finally Trump said, when it comes to my approval rating, I'll do everything I can to get back up. And every guy in a HIMS commercial said, join the club, bud. Hey, this is cool. Earlier tonight, NASA launched its first crewed mission to the moon in 53 years. Yep, the rocket launched from Cape Canaveral, did a quick flyby over Kid Rock's house, and then headed for the moon.
Oh, wow.
Some tech news. Drivers can now use ChatGPT with Apple's CarPlay. Although I saw the ad for it, I'm not sure it's such a great idea. Take a Look at this.
ChatGPT Voice
ChatGPT is coming to cars everywhere.
Podcast Narrator
Hey, ChatGPT, how far away is Target?
ChatGPT Voice
That's a great question, Dan. It's both insightful and shows that you care about timing and preparation.
Podcast Narrator
I just need to know how far Target is. I don't need the whole AI answer.
ChatGPT Voice
Totally get it. You're interested in the distance from here to Target. It's really key that you ask that. Especially now at a time when you're driving to target and stop.
Podcast Narrator
Stop. Answer in just two words. How far is target?
ChatGPT Voice
Two words. Great question.
Podcast Narrator
No answer. With just the distance from here to target.
ChatGPT Voice
150,000 miles.
Podcast Narrator
That's wrong.
ChatGPT Voice
You're absolutely right to call me on that. I miscalculated the distance and that's on me. Just let me know if there's any way I can help. I'm here to dive in.
Jimmy Fallon
I just need the distance from here to target.
ChatGPT Voice
I hear you, Dan. Often it can be frustrating to want to find the distance from Apple CarPlay now with AI.
Zendaya
Drive safe out there.
Jimmy Fallon
Well, right after the Olaf robot in Disneyland Paris malfunctioned, Tokyo Disney ran into an issue with their Rapunzel robot when some crows started eating her hair. Yeah, turns out a Disney princess surrounded by little birds isn't as cute in real life. Eventually, park employees captured the crows and sold them as turkey legs. There you have It. And finally, guys, we're so excited for this. The Super Mario Galaxy movie hits theaters today.
Super Mario Galaxy.
So we teamed up with the entire cast to do something fun. This is the Ballad of Super Mario. Check it out.
Jack Black
There once was a man named Mario. Yes. You know who I mean. He had a brother, Luigi, who was always wearing green. There was also Princess Peach, who made my heart explode. But they defeated me with the help of a tiny little mushroom man named Toad. They locked me up and shrunk me down. No, Bowser, he was done. But now they're facing Bowser Jr. And he is my son.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh.
Jack Black
Mario and Luigi are now in outer space. And Peach and Toad and Rosalina's all up in my face. But me and Bowser Jr. Will get Mario once more. But Yoshi is now in the crew. He's a cool little freaky dinosaur. Mario in Staryo's going far, yo. He'll be sorry. Oh. In reality, all his pals and e. They will bow to me. In the Galaxy, there once was a man named Mario. Yes. You know who I mean.
Jimmy Fallon
I mean, Come on. My thanks for Jack Black and the whole cast. The Super Mario Galaxy movie is out now. We have a great show. Zendaya and Robin Pattinson are here. Reggae Jean Page is joining us. Stick around. We'll be right back with more Tonight show, everybody.
Our first guest are two very talented actors who star in the new movie, the Drama. It's in theaters nationwide this Friday. Everyone, please welcome Zendaya and Robert Patton.
Zendaya, Robert Pattinson. Come on. That's right. Feel the love. They love you. Come on. We love you. Welcome, welcome.
Welcome back to the show. It's always good to see you guys. Thank you for coming on together.
Zendaya
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
You have never worked together in a film, and now all of a sudden, you're in three movies together.
Zendaya
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
How does this happen? How does it. All the drama. Then you're in the Odyssey and then Dune Part three.
Robert Pattinson
You wished on a star.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, but which came first?
Zendaya
Well, the drama first, obviously. And I think we were both kind of sworn to secrecy with the Odyssey, so we didn't really tell each other, but we kind of had, like, a look.
Robert Pattinson
She just kind of turned up on set, and I was like, hey, you too?
Jimmy Fallon
You guys were acting together for months. We're back together. Yeah, well, that's right. You're not allowed to say anything about the Odyssey. Oh, no, no, no. So then you just end up there and you go, okay. And then.
Zendaya
Oh, you again.
Jimmy Fallon
Then you're Like, I'll see you at Dune.
Zendaya
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Wow.
Zendaya
Well, I actually did get a call about you for Dune.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, you got him the job?
Zendaya
Well, no, he already had the job, but they just wanted to make sure he wasn't, like, a diva or anything.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yeah. Oh, he's very much a diva. No, he is not a diva. Yeah. You were like, oh, he's cool, right?
Zendaya
Yeah, he's cool.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, I know he is. Zendaya, you also have Spider man coming out. We were talking about earlier. The trailer came out. This is exciting. You're talking about the trailer came out, and it's already got over a billion views. What is going on in, like, three hours? Yeah, in three hours. Yeah. How do you have the time to do all of these films?
Zendaya
I have no idea. Good scheduling, a good team. No, it was really. It was quite jarring, too, because while we were filming Dune, I would then kind of go off and do Spider man and then jump back into Dune. Then I jumped back into Spider man. So it was like. And then I just came, literally the day I wrapped Euphoria, it was like 4 in the morning, and I had a flight in, like, the next few hours to go to Budapest to shoot Dune. So I was, like, packed my whole life up in one night, and I was like, let's go.
Jimmy Fallon
Let's go for it. We're gonna go, man. Don't stop. I love it. Robert, did you get to visit the set of Spider Man? Is Batman allowed to visit the set? I don't know.
Robert Pattinson
I think I'd be allowed.
Regé-Jean Page
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
I don't know if it's legal.
Robert Pattinson
We keep getting asked, like, who would win to fight Spider man or Batman. I'm like, legally not allowed to say either one.
Jimmy Fallon
Do you know Tom at all?
Robert Pattinson
Yeah, I loved him.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. You've done stuff with it.
Robert Pattinson
I've done three movies with him, too.
Jimmy Fallon
What's going on with you guys?
Zendaya
He loves us.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, he loved that.
Robert Pattinson
I just want to be involved.
Jimmy Fallon
Robert, when did you first meet Zendaya? Do you remember? And was it a good first impression?
Robert Pattinson
I mean, you have a different impression. You think that something happened that didn't happen?
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, no.
Robert Pattinson
She's like, you said we had a phone call when you were on Batman. I'm like, no, that's just not true.
Jimmy Fallon
It is.
Zendaya
It literally is. Okay. We have a friend in common, and they were FaceTiming while I was shooting Euphoria, but he was in Batman mode.
Regé-Jean Page
Ah.
Zendaya
And so I think he didn't.
Jimmy Fallon
I was like, you're in character.
Zendaya
You had the smokey eye.
Robert Pattinson
You had the whole thing.
Zendaya
And I was like. I was like, hey. And you were like, hi.
Jimmy Fallon
I don't even think.
Zendaya
I literally go call you later.
Jimmy Fallon
I can't talk to you.
Zendaya
I have to go fight crime.
Jimmy Fallon
Please don't FaceTime me. I'd rather just do this over a ring. Yeah, yeah.
Zendaya
He was in the zone. So fair enough.
Jimmy Fallon
When did you realize that it was gonna work? When you guys had chemistry.
Robert Pattinson
I mean, we had one phone call before we started shooting, and I kind of went. I put the pedal to the metal of my anxiety, and like, every single day, I did the most extreme version of my personality. Just, like, full frontal on her face.
Jimmy Fallon
No, full. Oh, my God. Wait, you're so.
I know.
I. This is great for our show. Trust me, no one's gonna clip that out. No surprise. But you put everything out there. Your face feels like. I like emotions.
Zendaya
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
Emotionally.
Emotionally. We got what you're trying to say. Yeah, yeah.
Robert Pattinson
And she was very understanding.
Jimmy Fallon
Well, you're both pretty likable human beings. But, Zendaya, you were telling me that you had to do a dance scene is where you thought that you really bonded.
Zendaya
I think so. Because I think. Well, like I said, I don't want to talk for you, but Rob doesn't love that he had to dance. And I, you know, I'm a little more comfortable with the dancing thing. And so it was a nice. I feel like it was a nice bonding for us to kind of. Our first day of shooting was literally doing our first dance.
Jimmy Fallon
I think I've seen you dance in a bunch of movies.
Robert Pattinson
Every single movie, it's like.
Jimmy Fallon
And you don't like dancing.
Robert Pattinson
It's a curse.
Jimmy Fallon
Is it like a test to see, like, dude, how embarrassed is he going to get?
Robert Pattinson
And just long, long dancing scenes, which require a lot of rehearsal as well.
Jimmy Fallon
I mean, this is, like, one of the most important scenes.
Zendaya
Do you usually have to freestyle or is it more of, like, choreography? That's borderline.
Jimmy Fallon
Okay.
Robert Pattinson
There's no freestyle.
Jimmy Fallon
But when you were with Zendaya, she helped you. Did she say, hey, let's go to the right, let's spin, let's dip the
Robert Pattinson
scene in the movie, she's actually telling me the choreography during the scene, and it's very sweet.
Zendaya
Sweet. It worked out for the character.
Jimmy Fallon
You were also telling me that sometimes you don't know when Robert's joking or being serious.
Zendaya
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Can you give me an example of that?
Zendaya
There was a comment you made the other day when we were. That apparently is a Thing that you smell like crayons to yourself.
Robert Pattinson
I do smell like crayons.
Jimmy Fallon
You smell like crayons.
Zendaya
Smells like crayons. You don't. That does not smell like crayons.
Jimmy Fallon
Do you mind if I.
Zendaya
It's like kind of like vanilla.
Jimmy Fallon
Bring it in, Bring it in.
ChatGPT Voice
Bring it in.
Jimmy Fallon
It smell like crayons,
right?
Zendaya
No, you don't. Let me get a second.
Jimmy Fallon
I don't think I can just get a crayon. No, no. You smell very nice. You don't.
Zendaya
You smell nice.
Jimmy Fallon
I like the smell of crayons as well. But why would you think you smell like crayons?
Robert Pattinson
I smell like crayons to myself.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, really?
Robert Pattinson
Maybe it's a specific crayon.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yeah, Right. Yeah. What color crayon? Yeah. Blue crayon. Yeah, blue crayon. But since you were a kid, did you feel that way? Was it a new. Is it a new laundry detergent?
Zendaya
I'm very curious.
Jimmy Fallon
I love the smell of crayon. I love also the smell of Play doh, by the way, when I was a kid, I would just try to eat it because it smells so good.
Zendaya
It smells so good. It's got a sweet smell.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes. I love it. Play doh. Yeah.
Robert Pattinson
I thought it deliberately smells bad so kids don't eat it.
Zendaya
No, it.
Jimmy Fallon
No, it smells fantastic and it's a problem. Tastes terrible.
Robert Pattinson
It just smells like Play doh.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. Kids at home don't eat Play DOH or crayons. But I've done both and look how I turned out.
Ok. It worked.
Yeah, it works. Ah, thank you. A little bit damaged, but I'm fine.
Zendaya
It's the hard stuff.
Jimmy Fallon
Let's talk about the movie, the drama. It's a dark movie, I would say, and you play a couple about to get married. It's not your typical romantic movie. No, not at all.
Zendaya
I mean, there are aspects of romance, and we do have, like, the beginning of the film. The real tight beginning allows for a little bit of romance and for you to really fall in love with the characters before the rug is pulled out from underneath the characters and the audience. And I think you're just kind of on this really emotionally vulnerable ride with them the whole time. And it just like it's all gas until the end.
Regé-Jean Page
And.
Zendaya
Yeah, it's chaotic. It's very intense. Yeah, it's definitely, hopefully, gonna spark a lot of healthy discussion.
Jimmy Fallon
I noticed that you're wearing a beautiful blue gown tonight. This is very on theme. I kind of knew that you were gonna do this. I was hoping for this. Because when you go to your premieres, Zendaya, I don't know if you know this. You sometimes dress to the theme of your film. And so on this, you wore something old, something new, and something borrowed.
Zendaya
Yes.
Jimmy Fallon
Which one?
Zendaya
Yeah, thanks.
Jimmy Fallon
What was the something borrowed? Which one?
Zendaya
Something borrowed is this one.
Jimmy Fallon
And who was that borrowed from?
Zendaya
It was from the one and only Cate Blanchett.
Regé-Jean Page
Really?
Jimmy Fallon
Cate Blanchett?
Zendaya
I know.
Jimmy Fallon
That's rad.
Zendaya
It's a dream come true, honestly. Cause when we kind of. This whole idea came together, she was one of the first people I thought of because I remember both Law and I remember when she wore this dress for the first time. And we both texted. She's like, oh, my gosh, she looks up. This dress is fabulous. Da, da, da. And I was like, oh, I wish I could wear that dress. Like, oh, what a dress.
Jimmy Fallon
It's your dream.
Zendaya
And so when it was like an opportunity to maybe borrow a dress, I was like, what if we, you know, what if we ask her? And Love's like, hang up, I gotta call. Like, I gotta go start making calls. And he called her team and she said yes, she's fun. That's so lovely. I just thought it was such a kind thing to share and yeah, I just, I was very, very paranoid about, like spilling or breaking or doing anything
Jimmy Fallon
wrong to the dress. Yeah. Do you let Robert know when you're. That you're wearing a theme? No. So you're.
Robert Pattinson
I literally Oscar, every single day through this thing, I'm like, what are you gonna be wearing?
Zendaya
I told you.
Jimmy Fallon
What are you gonna be wearing tonight? Are we doing it? Like, Are we doing like Dune themed? What are we doing here?
Robert Pattinson
Like, you did not plan borrowing Cate Blanchett's dress the day before?
Jimmy Fallon
No, there's no way.
It must have planned.
Always.
Robert Pattinson
Like, I'm so chill about everything. There's no plan.
Zendaya
But here's the thing. Here's the thing. He was asking me while we were shooting Dune what I was. And I was like, I don't know yet. Like, I don't have any idea. And then when I came up with the idea, he was like, you knew all along and you didn't tell me
Jimmy Fallon
and you didn't tell me. I was like, I love it. I love you guys together. Hopefully there's more and more and more films that you guys could be in together.
The drama is in theaters on Friday. More Tonight show after the break. Stick around, everybody.
Our next guest is an Emmy nominated actor who stars in the new film, you, me and Tuscany, which is in theaters everywhere. April 10th. Please welcome Reggae Jean Page.
Come on, bud. That's right. Come on.
Welcome back, man. We have a good looking show tonight. Oh, my gosh. Yeah.
Zendaya
Ouch.
Jimmy Fallon
Come on.
Sorry, sorry.
How did you get a couple.
How to get a couple hours out there? Sorry.
Regé-Jean Page
It's good looking. Cause all of y' all are here.
Jimmy Fallon
That's why it's no exactly. Incredibly good looking guys. Now I want to get into so many things I want to get into. You mean Tuscany. I want to talk about you going back to the. The West End. You're gonna do theater.
Regé-Jean Page
Yep, yep. Not going back to theater. We're doing Gatsby.
Jimmy Fallon
The Great Gatsby.
Regé-Jean Page
The Gatsby, yeah. Should be a lot of fun.
Jimmy Fallon
You started in theatre. Why do you like theater?
Regé-Jean Page
I like that anything can happen. You need that adrenaline shock. You need that moment with the crowd. You know what I mean?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. There's nothing like it.
Regé-Jean Page
One of the first jobs I ever did, I was on the Globe in the West End in London. We're doing the Merchant of Venice.
Jimmy Fallon
Globe Theatre.
Regé-Jean Page
The Globe Theatre. Thousand people every night.
Jimmy Fallon
Shakespeare.
Regé-Jean Page
Shakespeare.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
Feels like a rock concert in that venue, by the way. Cause you got like a standing crowd down below. You got like all the posh seats up top. And so, you know, all you gotta do is not mess up. In Shakespearean, I definitely wasn't gonna. It was a work experience job. So, like, I have like one speech. Deliver a letter. F O. Easy.
Jimmy Fallon
Okay.
Regé-Jean Page
I deliver my speech. I walk out proud as punch. It's a long old walk. Put my hand into my pouch. There's no letter. No letter whatsoever.
Jimmy Fallon
That's your only job, is to deliver the letter?
Regé-Jean Page
My only one and only job. I go completely gray. And the dude that I have to give the letter to, by the way, does not know his lines. They are written in the letter. It's like, now you gotta improv in Shakespeare. And it's like, thine letter, which I dost not have.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, my God.
Regé-Jean Page
What you have to improvise is in yonder carriage.
Jimmy Fallon
Someone shall fetch it forthwith for this dude.
Oh, my gosh.
Regé-Jean Page
Like, what does thou mean? Thou dost not have my letter? I doth not know mine lines. I'm like, dude, I don't know what you wanteth me to say.
Jimmy Fallon
It ain't here. Sorry, Dudith. I must go off stage and cometh back with letters. Goodest luck is kind of how that went. What ended up happening.
Regé-Jean Page
He made it. I think someone heard my pleas from off Stage, someone else turned up with, like, thy letter is here, my Lord.
Jimmy Fallon
Oh, my God.
Regé-Jean Page
He's like, get the out of here.
Jimmy Fallon
That's baptism by fire, right?
There you go.
Yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
That adrenaline kick and also the fact that we had to work that out together. That's when people talk about chemistry on screen, on stage, those unexpected moments. That's chemistry. That's the reaction.
Jimmy Fallon
You were great on snl. You were great on SNL uk, by the way.
Regé-Jean Page
Yes. We did SNL UK last week. What was it like? It was amazing.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. You can cheer the Brits.
Regé-Jean Page
You can cheer the Brits.
Jimmy Fallon
That's fantastic. It was a big hit.
Regé-Jean Page
Tina Fey was hosting, so we had a little bit of American help. Do you feel better about sharing that?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, there you go. We love Tina Fey. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
She had fantastic. It was a lifetime moment for me working with Tina, which is lovely. We got to share a skit, and it feels like coming home because it is live. Folks forget that the L in SNL is live.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, of course. But you've done Serrant live here in the States.
Regé-Jean Page
Did it here first. I remember this back in February 2020.
Jimmy Fallon
Did it feel like the same magic?
Regé-Jean Page
Incredible. Well, also because we were deep in Covid, so I was desperate for human connection at that point. I hadn't seen a person never mind a live audience. So I started. I started messing around a little bit. You know when you get in front of an audience and the devil gets you a little bit?
Jimmy Fallon
No, no. I don't know what that means at all. No Devil in your eyes right now. I'm like, how can I mess this interview up? Yeah, I know, I know.
Regé-Jean Page
That's what I love about theater. So, like, I started riffing with the crowd between takes, and I remember Keenan kind of turned to me because they were exhausted. They were on, like, week six in the middle of the pandemic. And he was like, okay, kid.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah, let's go. We're having fun.
Regé-Jean Page
You keep folks warm. This is it reminded me of being in a band. Like, when your guitarist is tuning up, you tell some jokes to the crowd. Try not to annoy Kenan Thompson too much.
Jimmy Fallon
No. Yeah, you won't. Let's talk about your film. You, me, and Tuscany. How do we set up what it's about?
Regé-Jean Page
Ah, it is a classic, feel good, uncynical, joyous rom com.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes.
That's what we want.
Regé-Jean Page
You know, it knows exactly what it is. We're here to give you a good time in the theater is the romantic
Jimmy Fallon
comedy's having a great comeback. Which I love. People we meet on vacation was great. I know. The Sydney Sweeney. Glen Powell was a big hit. And now you. This is good. It's you. You're in Italy.
Regé-Jean Page
I'm in Italy with Halle Bailey. One of the places.
Jimmy Fallon
Halle Bailey.
Thank you.
Regé-Jean Page
By the way, she's the people's mermaid.
Jimmy Fallon
That's right. By the way, she can sing, too.
Regé-Jean Page
Boy, she's an incredible. She's one of the best singers on the planet. I maintain that genuinely, her technique is untouchable.
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
And she's also. Have you ever met her?
Podcast Narrator
Yeah.
Jimmy Fallon
Absolutely.
Regé-Jean Page
Genuine, real life Disney princess.
Jimmy Fallon
Right.
She actually is. Yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
She walks by, flowers bloom, the sun rises, floats.
Jimmy Fallon
Yes. It's a cartoon.
Regé-Jean Page
Ridiculous. Birds land on her finger, you know?
Jimmy Fallon
Yeah. But you have to serenade her in front of her.
Regé-Jean Page
I do.
Jimmy Fallon
That's pressure right there.
Regé-Jean Page
Little bit of pressure. There's a moment in the script, you open it up and it's like, we need you to sing in front of one of the world's greatest singers. No accompaniment, no notes, no nothing. Just charm this woman with a smile and the power of your voice. And so I just. I went to my happy place. I did my best.
Jimmy Fallon
You did a great job.
Regé-Jean Page
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate it. It's justified. In the movie, there's this concept called la serenata, which is from a place in Italy. Don't ask me where. I've done some research. Not all of it.
Jimmy Fallon
Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
But the idea is, before you get married, there's a false marriage story in this. Told you. Classic rom com. Before you get married, you have to sing to your fiance. And after you serenade them, all wrongs are forgiven. So you know those times that you didn't notice a haircut or take out the trash for three weeks? Now that I've sung to you so beautifully, yet to forget all of my.
Jimmy Fallon
All that and forgive me and just forgive and just love. Yeah.
Regé-Jean Page
Lads. Serenade ladies.
Jimmy Fallon
I think.
Regé-Jean Page
Yeah, you can't lose.
Jimmy Fallon
But between this film and Bridgerton, you. You've had a lot of experience with romance. I mean, you're pretty. I was thinking that anything that you. You could say anything and make it sound romantic. And I thought it'd be kind of fun if we maybe gave you some regular, everyday songs.
We have them written.
We have them written on cue cards. Do your best.
Regé-Jean Page
I just talked you through this trauma.
Jimmy Fallon
We have a microphone here. Maybe you can serenade some unromantic songs and make them sound romantic. Can we dim the lights? This first one, you know, on top of old Smokey? Yeah, kinda. Okay, give it your best.
Regé-Jean Page
On top of old Smokey. On top of old Smokey.
Jimmy Fallon
Baby girl, I want you all covered in stone. Oh, my God. Last one, last one, last one, last one, last one.
Just one more for us killing me. No, please. We have it written down there. How about a little row? Row, row your boat. Come on.
Regé-Jean Page
I'm a row your boat.
Jimmy Fallon
This is it.
Row.
Come on.
Serenade us. Come on, Reagan.
Row, row, row your little bow? Jack me down your street? Give me a merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily? They never leave our life, girl, our life is going to be just, just a dream. That's how you reggae. Jean Page, everybody. You, me and Tuscany is in theaters April 10th. More Tonight show after the break. Stick around, everybody. My thanks to Zendaya Robert Pattinson, Lege Jean Page, the cast of the Super Mario Galaxy movie, and LaRouche right there from Philadelphia.
Good night, everybody.
Thank you.
