Tonight we are revealing people's Sexiest Man Alive. And I'll end the suspense. I didn't win. Yeah, I was a little further down the list. I finished between Bernie Sanders and Mitch McConnell.

That's right.

Yep. People's Sexiest Man Alive is in the building, so get ready. Pope Leo will be out in a little bit. But yesterday in New York City was the New York City Marathon. No big deal.

And I'll end the suspense. I didn't win that either. Once again, I finished between Bernie Sanders and Mitch McConnell. I'm kidding. I've actually never run the marathon. Although this weekend, I tried explaining six' seven to my dad, and it was equally. It was equally. Did anyone here run the marathon?

Hey, congratulations.

It was a tough race this year because when runners crossed into Manhattan, they all had to stop and pay the congestion fee. I saw that the winners of the men's and women's marathon were both from Kenya, while the loser was everyone who used Toms of Maine deodorant. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. Come on.

Of course, after the race, some people felt dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseous. It's the same way Andrew Cuomo might feel after his race. That's what people are saying. While switching gears, I saw that over the weekend, President Trump posted dozens of photos of the newly remodeled Lincoln bathroom. And this is nice. The bathtub has a hot knob, a cold knob, and a Diet Coke knob. Apparently, Trump thought the best way to take the heat off his East Wing renovation was speaking of Trump. This weekend at Mar a Lago, he threw a Great Gatsby themed party. Yeah, but really, really, the theme was tone deaf. The government is shut down. What are you doing? Meanwhile, Today is the 34th day of the government shutdown, and Trump still hasn't met with Democrats to find a solution. In fact, he's been using a special excuse generator to come up with reasons why he can't talk to them.

Wow.

Yeah. I'll show you how it works. When people ask why haven't you met with the Democrats to stop the shutdown? It tells Trump to say, I'd meat, but I have an appointment with RB Steak nuggets. That's a good excuse.

Yeah, well, thumbs down RB Steak nuggets.

Then he tried another excuse. He said I would, but I'm still in shock about Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau. Okay, interesting.

It was at the beginning of the year. I was doing Shakespeare's Richard ii. And for those of you who don't know, it's not a comedy.

So we were, I think, 30 shows into 103 shows. And Jared Monaco is an amazing actor. It's a beautiful company of actors. We did a little art project. At the end of every production, we took a picture to try and document the rise and fall of a king. And. And so I've given you some of these photos just to see where I was at when I found out that I was the.

Sexiest Man Alive. Because it's the. Yeah, I mean, I was sort of hollowing myself out on stage every night and. Oh, yeah, there he is. Obviously, that's not too bad. No, yeah, there we go. Exactly.

And they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Do your affirmations.

It's an incredible thing just even to be in a film that brings people to the cinemas to watch films together. And also, you know, it's like these extraordinary people who are utilizing a lifetime of craft and I think it will be one of my greatest honors to, you know, support John M. Chui.

Well, I think the reason I'm a comedian, my mother's laugh was very odd. So she had narcolepsy. Now, narcolepsy is often. People think of it as the sleep disorder, but actually it can affect people's laugh. So she made no noise when she laughed. Like, none at all. So if you made her laugh, she would just like, you would.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah, Right.

[Jimmy Carr]

Literally, like a witch in the wizard of Oz. She would melt away.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Oh, my God. Her son is Jimmy Carr.

So my heart, her whole childhood was trying to say things funny enough, especially when she was driving, that she would lose muscular control.

And you would have.

I'm lucky to be here. You would have to take the wheel and kind of steer it round.

Well, we took basically the best of reality TV. We put 10 people in a house. Yes. But they're all hilarious comedians. And then we said to them, you're allowed to make people laugh. You're not allowed to laugh.

So you have to keep a straight face through the whole thing. They would love to do an American version, but it's gonna be, what, you and Kevin Hart. It's gonna be 30 seconds long.

I couldn't Even make it into the house. I'd be laughing before I walked in. Yeah, you can't even smile. You smile, the alarms go off in the house and they get thrown out.

You get a yellow card, then a red card and then you're out.

It is one of the funniest things. I loved it so much. You're a great host and you're brilliantly funny. But even people trying not to laugh at the faces they make when they're just going. When they're trying to walk away like, well, I'm not smiling. I'm not smiling. It's the most brilliant show.

It's a really fun kind of family watch as well. You can watch it with everyone laugh. Yeah, it's weirdly exciting watching people try not to laugh.

Well, yeah, I wrote it with some friends, the Dawson brothers and my little brother. We wrote it together. And it's basically we took. What does Britain do? Well, we do period drama pretty well.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Absolutely.

And then we take the piss out of stuff. So we combine those things. So it's Downton Abbey meets Airplane is.

[Jimmy Fallon]

The movie that's fantastic.

So there's three jokes in every scene and it's just. It's a proper laugh out loud comedy movie. If you see one spoof movie this year, see the Naked Gun. But if you have time.

I mean, still a little bit surreal.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah.

[Bianca Fernandez]

I'm still, like, my nails. I was biting my nails during that pause when you guys were like, yes. And the winner is. The world's most dramatic.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah. The longest pause in the world. Yeah.

[Bianca Fernandez]

But no, it feels absolutely surreal. I mean, like, to be here is a dream come true. And to know that brands like KitchenAid and Therabody like, believed in me and my concepts and me as a creative, it's like, otherworldly.

[Jimmy Fallon]

You got a billboard in Times Square. Yes. Look at this.

So cute.

Now, being from New York, is that a big deal? I mean, did you freak out?

[Bianca Fernandez]

I mean, yeah. As a native New Yorker, you know, you don't spend too much time in Times Square. I think only when you have a billboard with your face on it.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah, that's a big deal.

[Bianca Fernandez]

And you're like, okay, maybe I'll make the exception this one time.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah, I'll go down there. Yeah.

[Bianca Fernandez]

So, yeah, I mean, that was totally worth it.

[Jimmy Fallon]

You also won $100,000.

Yes.

What do you. What do you. Do you know what you're gonna do with the money?

[Bianca Fernandez]

I mean, you know, living in New York City is a little bit expensive, so there's some bills to pay. But other than that, I definitely wanna do something really nice for my parents. My mom and my aunt have been such a big support throughout my entire career, my whole life in this process. So I want to do something nice.

[Jimmy Fallon]

I met them backstage.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Very cute. They're awesome. They're very proud.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yes. Yes.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Oh, that's very nice of you. Yeah, why not? That's cool. Doing the show and watching you work. The whole. Everyone who was competing on the show were all talented, so it could have actually gone anywhere. But I'm like, was it. Did you feel the pressure there? Because these are like major companies that you're doing these marketing campaigns for.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah, I mean, the pressure was on throughout the entire process. I mean, I hold myself to really high standards. I have really high expectations of myself, and this is my job. It was kind of like with the show that my. My daytime job turned into a primetime television show. So it was kind of like, if you don't win this, like, are the people that I work with going to be like, yikes?

[Jimmy Carr]

Yeah.

[Jimmy Fallon]

How did you hear about the show? How did you get cast?

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah, I got a DM on Instagram, I think, from. Or TikTok from producer, casting producer. And they're like, are you obsessed with marketing and advertising? And I was like, that's an oddly specific concept for a TV show. So I called my mom and I was like, do you think this is a scam? And she's like, do not click on any links. But then I was like, if it's not a scam, how perfect would this be for me? Because my background is in marketing and I worked at TikTok and brand partnerships and at Tarte Cosmetics, leading social. And now I'm the head of brand engagement at Personal Day, which is an acne safe skincare brand co founded by Lili Reinhart, who's. She's been on your show a few times.

[Jimmy Fallon]

She's awesome. She's coming on soon.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah, very soon.

[Jimmy Fallon]

She's great.

[Bianca Fernandez]

I'm excited. Yeah, she's great.

[Jimmy Fallon]

But when you got in there, I don't know what it's. Because it's longer than you think at home. The days are long. There's also like a week or two weeks of prep before you're on the show. So I could just imagine the pressure and it gets emotional. It's more emotional than I ever thought any show would be.

[Bianca Fernandez]

I mean, I didn't expect it to be that emotional. I didn't expect for how much it would take for me to give my, like, how much it would take of myself to really. To one win, but also to just like be present and to really, like, give it your all at every single pitch. You're not only putting pressure on yourself to do the best work that you can in insane deadlines, which crazy deadlines.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Sorry about that.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah, yeah, a little bit like an hour to come up with an idea.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Yeah. But you did it.

But.

[Jonathan Bailey]

Yes, but I mean, you did it for you.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Do your best. Yeah.

[Jimmy Fallon]

This is what won you the thing that. The theragun sense.

[Jimmy Carr]

Yeah.

[Jimmy Fallon]

This thing is brilliant, by the way.

[Bianca Fernandez]

I could have used those the entire season.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Oh, yeah. This is the greatest thing in the world. But what was your campaign for this?

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah. So they wanted us to come up with an idea to make this a muscle recovery device, or what's typically a muscle recovery device applicable to everyone. And I was like, what is everyone experiencing all the time? At least people that I know and like stress, especially stress at work. So my campaign was stress builds in your mind and then your body and therabody helps you let it go. And if you don't let go of stress, it'll find its way out one way or another. So it kind of centered on this office hero who was just overworked, over caffeinated, overstressed. And the office villain, which was Josh Allen, who got to act in the commercial as this very not nice character that you would have hated. And he was hilarious. He was hilarious. And he goes through this stress tantrum and then uses the theragun sense to kind of let it go before he let it out on his boss.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Well, also, we should say that since the show has ended, you actually got an opportunity.

[Bianca Fernandez]

Yeah. Yeah. It's so exciting. So I'm officially joining therabody as their first ever creative in residence.

[Jimmy Fallon]

Come on, bud.

That's what I'm telling you about. I'm excited. This is more than I could dream.

Of when I thought of this show. This is what I want. I want everyone to work. I want everyone to get jobs. And I think people are seeing you on TV and going, oh, she's brilliant. But you actually got a job. The show's not just finished on Friday.
