Thanks for being here. Well, guys, people are talking about this. President Trump just said that he takes advice from Melania on how to deal with Vladimir Putin. I think the bigger story here is that Trump and Melania actually speak to each other. I didn't. Trump was like, she told me she's an expert on handling delusional. Delusional maniacs. I don't know how she's. Meanwhile, in a new interview, Trump said that he's disappointed in Putin but not done with him. Then the therapist is like, good, Donald. Now put it in the I feel language. Okay, Vlad, anything you'd like to add? Some more political news. Trump is still facing criticism for his handling of the Epstein files. And apparently some Trump supporters are burning their MAGA hats in protest. People are watching the protest like, hey, Randy, maybe you should take the hat off first. Then you don't do it while you're wearing it. Yeah, they're burning the MAGA hats. People in China were like, oh, come on. We worked so hard making this. I'm just saying. Meanwhile, House Republicans just blocked an effort by Democrats to force the release of the Epstein files. As of now, Trump is keeping the information totally classified, AKA in the bathroom at Mar a Lago. Yet the excuses are getting worse and worse. Today, Trump was like, a dog ate the Epstein files. Then people in Ohio ate the dog. Some more political news. Former President Obama is now saying that Democrats who are unhappy under Trump really need to toughen up. Now, we're here now to talk about his comments is the former president himself. Welcome to the show, Mr. President.

I mean, he has a tough time just keeping his damn glasses on his nose.

No, he didn't. Yeah, Trump was upset, so to cheer him up, his staff gave him another golden FIFA trophy. And that was nice. Do you guys read this? I read that Trump's new tariffs on Brazil are expected to raise coffee prices. As a result, people have resorted to making tea out of Zyn pouches. This has more of a menthol taste to it. I think you like it. It's not just coffee. I saw that. Trump's tariffs will also cause tomato prices to skyrocket. A lot of people are concerned. So Heinz put out a new commercial to address the situation. Watch this. Heinz wants all our loyal customers to know that as the cost of tomatoes rises, we'll try to keep our prices as low as possible. We're all in this together, Heinz. Oh, that's nice. Yeah. Yeah. First, you're gonna put it on a blindfold, which you're holding in your hands. Then you'll start the cracker stacker simply by shouting your name so the system recognizes you. Gently stepping on the foot activated initiator button and then pulling down the lever here. This machine is completely necessary and very easy to use. A series of foods will scroll by and whichever three foods it lands on, you have to eat on a cracker. After you eat the cracker, you must guess what the three foods were on it. And then there's that mid range game. And before I met C, I was single and I'm like, okay, well, I got to build my mid range game. If I'm trying to date a girl way out of my league, I gotta level up my dress game. No pun intended. And sure enough, that's how it all started. And so it's been really cool because I really want to be the first faith based shoe brand, luxury shoe brand, seven day a week wear for men. And so it's been cool.

He's got a heather gray shirt on and I'm like, I'm looking at him like, babe, we need to launch a kids line. And she's like, what do you want to call it? I'm like, three brands. Sports, music, fashion, mind, body, soul, three brand, the next generation. It's been an amazing journey for us. I partnered up with the hat dads and also Nike too. It's been an awesome journey. It's been huge for us. We've absolutely crushed it. And it's been a lot of fun too because we're all over the place. All these different retail stores. We're just launching in Dick's sporting goods starting September 1st, 150 plus stores.

Did you ever think you would do this? I mean, you're like, you're an athlete and you're like, dude, I'm taking it to the next level.

Yeah, it's been fun. I think I've always had a business savvy and I just have loved youth. I think for me, you know, that's why we wanted to start the youth line and allow kids to be able to order at any time and go there.

It feels giant. Like. No, it's super fun. I'm excited about it. I miss, I love our team. I love the guys that we have, the players, the youth, the hard work that they put. I mean, you know, the cool part is, is this has been my 14th year and I always, you know, as you go on, what you always want to know is, you know, how guys enter the building, how they leave the building. Guys are there early, you know, 5, 30, 6 o' clock in the morning. Guys are ready to work. Guys are leaving late, spending extra time. We got a great receiver core. We got great running backs. That's you, that's you.

But it's cool when, you know, the other guys are already doing that work and they want to win. They want to do all the right things to do that. And I think coach Daboll's done a tremendous job. And also the organization, you know, the Tish's and The Morrows, in 1925, they started this. I mean, everybody in America loves football, but this is the New York Giants and this is.

Skip looks at me. He's like, hey, Russ, you're up. I'm like, huh? Okay. All right, let's go. And I was ready to go. I was ready to rock and roll. And he goes, you're batting for Aaron Judge, by the way. I'm like, okay, get him out of here.

I feel like you work on something for so long and you convince yourself that you're doing it for yourself, like, while you're making it. Cause it's so contained and especially this season, it was very secretive, you know, and then you have to remind yourself that people are gonna watch it and have opinions. And so.

Oh, yeah. Oh, everyone has opinions. And. Oh, trust me, just in our office, everyone's like, yeah. Do you pay attention to those fan theories at all?

I mean, we see him for sure, which is. It's fun to sort of get to see how excited everybody is, but I don't know.

And it's so funny because even when she's like, I don't really tell her if it's correct or not. And so it just kind of leaves her guessing. It's really fun.

No, I mean, we've had our fun, and I think we've taken moments a little too far. Like, there's this moment in our second season where our friend Sean, who's also on the show, he and I stole Gavin's car. We have rental cars over there.

And he stole his car.

Lola Tung
Yeah, we took his keys. He was in a fitting. We went and took his keys, and then we hit it, and it's a big lot. And we hit it, and then he came out and we were like, I don't know where your car is, man. It's so annoying.

Did you freak out? Oh, yeah, Yeah.

Lola Tung
I did everything in my power. I pretty much raised hell. I was like, I'm gonna get my car back. Of course I planned.

I was, like, trying to go surf. I was, like, trying to meet up with my friends and surf. And then all of a sudden, my car's gone. I'm just like, what? Like, immediately.

Was it fitting? We pretended we were coming to say hi, and then Sean distracted and we gave him a hug, and I grabbed it. And then we ran out and we took it. You can't take a bit too far.

No. You know, but, Gavin, I have a picture of you sitting on top of Chris's car.

Yes.

That he couldn't be able to drive. Yeah.

Too far and I just was like, you know, what? If I can't go home? I. I need food and I don't have my wallet because it's in the car. Tripping us. This was the bit he was guilt tripping us into giving him his keys back.

So I ran as fast as I could to the nearest gas station to get some food and drinks because I was just so thirsty.

And you guys chased after him saying, hey, dude, enough time.

I mean, I think it's a lot more of the emotional rollercoaster you're used to, I guess. And also, you know, there's a little time jump. So we meet the characters in a little bit of a more mature place, I think. And, yeah, I'm very excited for that.

And is this really the end, or could there be more to the series?
- [33:34]
Gavin Castellano
And we're. I mean, it's.
- [33:36]

Would you be open to doing more if there was? They created more.

Lola Tung
It's Jenny's story. I think she has always decided where this story starts and ends. I mean, it's a trilogy of books. So when we were filming our first season, I was always like, I just hope we get to finish the story, you know? Cause if we got canceled after our first season, that's not the whole arc.

That's part of an arc.
