Geico's motorcycle expertise gives me the coverage I need. Like 24.7claims, I'm on cloud nine disclaim.
Unknown Speaker
Clouds are wholly unable to support the weight of an adult human.
Tina D. Ball
What's happening?
Unknown Speaker
Furthermore, clouds are not numbered. Even if you procured a jetpack and searched, you'd find no cloud numbered nine. However, at that altitude, you'd likely befriend a flock of migrating snow geese. Geese who'd encourage you to leave your 24.7geico motorcycle claims insurance behind as they would take you in and even share their dinner of crickets and clovers with you. GEICO assumes no liability for any indigestion that may occur from a clover cricket dinner. Geico expertise for your motorcycle I'm headed.

Ryan Sickler
All right. You're a Kansas City girl.
Tina D. Ball
Casey Gal through and through. Got him tattooed on my ass, baby.
Ryan Sickler
Do you?
Tina D. Ball
Do I? Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
You really have what on your.
Tina D. Ball
I have the Kansas City Chiefs on my ass.
Ryan Sickler
You do not.
Tina D. Ball
Yes, I do.
Ryan Sickler
I'm not going to ask you to show. I'll gladly show it, but you could send a picture that we could put in the.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, absolutely.
Ryan Sickler
In the episode.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, and that would be more flattering because right now, it's like, there's going to be some rolls. All that. The photo is good. I look. I look hot. I'm not joking.
Ryan Sickler
Well, yeah.
Tina D. Ball
Thank you.
Ryan Sickler
There it is.
Tina D. Ball
That's what I'm talking about. Look at that. Don't.
Ryan Sickler
You really do have an arrowhead. Right. Right there, just at the top of your butt.
Tina D. Ball
What do you think?
Ryan Sickler
I'm impressed that you're that big of a cheese.
Tina D. Ball
Talking about my looks.
Ryan Sickler
You look. Yeah. The over the shoulder.
Tina D. Ball
10 out of 10. What do you think?
Ryan Sickler
Yes. You're gorge.
Tina D. Ball
Thank you.
Ryan Sickler
Of course, I mean, you know, no offense now Taylor Swift's in the picture, you know. But you were there before Taylor, huh?
Tina D. Ball
This was fucking 2020.
Ryan Sickler
I can tell. I can tell. I can tell by. Because I look young, by the way you aggressively, aggressively pointed at the fucking TV screen when I said it, too. You almost jumped out of the car. This is 2020.
Tina D. Ball
God, I'm embarrassed.
Ryan Sickler
Four years before Taylor Swift.
Tina D. Ball
Robin. Oh, yeah. Look at that.
Ryan Sickler
I think about getting the raven's head on my body somewhere, but then I'm like, I really like their logo. But then I'm like, if they move or some shit. You know what I mean?
Tina D. Ball
Can I say something? If you ever want to do that, I will gladly get a chief's tattoo right alongside you.
Ryan Sickler
Another one?
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, 100%. I'll get another one. Not an arrowhead. I'm not.
Ryan Sickler
I'm not putting on my butt or anything like that.
Tina D. Ball
You don't have to do that. And I'm not going to put it on my butt. I'll get a new one somewhere. Else.
Ryan Sickler
Somewhere else.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Well, I love your passion for the chiefs.
Tina D. Ball
Thank you.
Ryan Sickler
Let's talk about. This was an interesting one. You said you used to go to public pools growing up. We were talking before.
Tina D. Ball
Yes.
Ryan Sickler
And you're like, ryan, that's vivid in my memory. And I. I love that because we absolutely did public pool stuff too. But fire away. I want to hear this.
Tina D. Ball
They were the best dude in Kansas.
Ryan Sickler
City at good public pools. Yeah. Good ones.
Tina D. Ball
Oh.
Ryan Sickler
Oh, really, bro?
Tina D. Ball
And it was multifaceted. We didn't just use it in the summer. On the back side. On the back side. I love. The dogs are going princess.
Ryan Sickler
Getting her home.
Tina D. Ball
It's making me happy. Like I'm at home.
Ryan Sickler
That's what this is for Simba, go lay down.
Tina D. Ball
That's me yelling at my dog constantly. But. So the public pool that we had in Kansas City, it was in Lenexa, Kansas. Sarco Park.
Ryan Sickler
Oh, this thing's got slides and everything.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah, baby. 12ft in one section.
Ryan Sickler
We didn't have any.
Tina D. Ball
Look at this motherfucker. Fuck.
Ryan Sickler
Yeah, that. That's.
Tina D. Ball
Look at that. Okay, so look on the backside of that shit. Yeah, buddy. That hill goes downhill. Oh, yeah. We were fucking raging there in the winter and the summer. Oh, God, those were great times. Look at that place here. And it was.
Ryan Sickler
We'll do this again. Kirsten, go to. I think it's Cador's. See that right there?
Tina D. Ball
Water bowl, baby.
Ryan Sickler
That was our pool.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God.
Ryan Sickler
That was our water park. Oh, that's it. That's what I'm saying. And that's a slide there. That was not there. It was just a square of water.
Tina D. Ball
Nice.
Ryan Sickler
And everyone went into it. That's cool. Like, more like that. Yeah, without the slide.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, wow. Just a nice piece to go pissing. Yeah. Hey, look.
Ryan Sickler
Real water park. We also had Wet and Wild. There's a water slide called the Dirt. The Dur Stuka. You know what time it is? It's time for a fresh approach to dog food. And that's where the farmer's dog comes in. Developed by board certified nutritionists, the farmer's dog is human grade dog food that's made with real meat and veggies and gently cooked to preserve nutrients. Damn, that sounds like this thing right here.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, it goes straight down.
Ryan Sickler
Straight. Like there's Kodak moment. You know when you go in a park where you're going and it's like, here's is a Kodak photo op on the stairwell up the thing. That's how high up it is. And I'm like, oh, my God. You get to the top of this motherfucker, it is straight down. They tell you cross your feet because if you don't, it's.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, it's blasting.
Ryan Sickler
It's up your ass. Oh, it's.
Tina D. Ball
You're going to have a coloscopy bag. Colon. Coloscopy bag. A colonoscopy bag.
Ryan Sickler
You dug it out, girl. This thing. And the other key part even more.
Tina D. Ball
See the feet cross straight down.
Ryan Sickler
Did you see what he just did? He crossed his arms. The. The key thing to do is to tuck your chin. Oh. Because if you don't put your chin here, your head's going. I mean, the whole way down. And my friend did not tuck his chin. This thing him up. He got a concussion. His head was all busted up because you're just going at speeds like crazy. Kirsten, let's look up. What the hell does der Stuka mean?
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, what is that? It kind of sounds like a little.
Ryan Sickler
German for, like, attack blades going right up your. That's what's happening.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah. Dude, wait. Scroll down. A girl Stuka girl that sucks one's pee. Where did I see that?
Ryan Sickler
Oh, that's a. That's an urban dictionary. That's why.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, okay. A girl that sucks one's penis at random time.
Ryan Sickler
That's a Stuka.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Look at us learning. Suddenly, just out of nowhere, all of a sudden, oh, you're a Stuka.
Tina D. Ball
The old woman is a. Is a Stuka. So in Kansas City, we had worlds of fun and Oceans of Fun, which were like, you know, Six Flags, whatever. Oh, it was fun lit there, dude. I got some sick ass pics of me as a kid there, like, balling, looking so cool.
Ryan Sickler
Look at these.
Tina D. Ball
And I'll get some pics from my mom so you can see I'm older.
Ryan Sickler
We didn't have like this back in the day. The lazy rivers and all that stuff.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, this place was lit. They used to have the Berenstein Bear, Berenstain Bears up in there.
Ryan Sickler
What do you mean? That was like their theme park.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, so theme park in the kids section in Worlds of Fun, they had a Berenstein Bears thing. It was cool. They had that ride there called the Wacky Worm. Changed my life, bro.
Ryan Sickler
What did it do?
Tina D. Ball
It just.
Ryan Sickler
Was it a spinny ride or is it up?
Tina D. Ball
It was my first roller coaster as a kid, dude, and it changed my life. It was cool.
Ryan Sickler
You were in on it.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God. I love. And my dad loves roller coasters too, so he was like, oh, he loved it. He's like, okay, guys. Like, my dad was more excited for these theme parks.
Ryan Sickler
There it is. I take my daughter to these things. And this is before when I knew I was gonna have to get back surgery. So we went to. It was right out here. You guys are. You guys are gonna drive right past it on your way because we have.
Tina D. Ball
To drive nine hours somewhere near.
Ryan Sickler
It's just on the other side of the 10, across from Ontario, just east of onto by the. Close to the NASCAR track that's out there. Okay. And he lives down in Temecula. So we decide that's sort of like this halfway. He's like, I'm telling you, it's this cool little amusement park. It's not big because we've done the Six Flags. He's like, it's not big. It's, like, kind of cool. It's little rides.
Tina D. Ball
It's like, hey, dude. It's an it. Oh. So, yeah.
Ryan Sickler
And we get there and it looks like a. It looks like a carnival that just quit. You know what I mean? Like, we ain't. We ain't. We ain't going another foot. Like, they were just like, we're done. It's.
Tina D. Ball
There's, like, flags that are, like, ripped and like.
Ryan Sickler
And he tells us he's been on this roller coaster with his daughter and he's gonna go ride this other ride with her that my daughter's too short to get on. Yeah, we're gonna ride the roller coaster. But they're like, right next to each other.
Tina D. Ball
Sure.
Ryan Sickler
And we're the only people on the roller coaster. Just my daughter and me in a car. There's nobody else at all.
Tina D. Ball
Did your daughter feel like. Was she a little like.
Ryan Sickler
Let me tell you, my daughter's like. My daughter's like, my dad knows what she's doing.
Tina D. Ball
Okay.
Ryan Sickler
You know what I mean? I trust my dad.
Tina D. Ball
Cool. So you were like, yeah, come on. I didn't know you were showing. Okay, got it.
Ryan Sickler
And we get on this thing. Tina, this is a missile from hell. It is like, she, she, she. And we're. We're lean, and my daughter's crying. This dude's just picking his teeth. We come by, I'm like, hey, slow it down. You know, it's going. And we are crushing each other. Like, oh, it's. And I don't know if it's because there was no other weight on it to slow it down. We were hauling ass. I genuinely thought it was. We're right in the front, you know, you see over the edge.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God.
Ryan Sickler
It takes the turn. I'm like, nah, you know, I'm going.
Tina D. Ball
It's very hard.
Ryan Sickler
You're like, not to let my daughter know. I'm scared too, you know? Yeah, you're like, she's just like, she's crying. I'm like, she's crying. I'm blaming on her. See, she's crying, man. It's me, though. You know? You're like, my daughter's cross, all that. We just keep going by. He's just over there faking his deed.
Tina D. Ball
You're getting hella pale. You start to turn green. Little pukes on your shirt. You swallow it, though, and your daughter's like, daddy, what's wrong?
Ryan Sickler
Oh, man. I got off that thing, and I said, what the did you recommend that ride for? He's like, what are you talking about? I go, you two go on it right now. And I watched his face go around. I think he's like, it wasn't like that last time. I was like, yeah, it's probably four people, man. What are we doing?
Tina D. Ball
Oh, my God. It Worlds of Fun. They had one that was a dude and also great font. Yeah, buddy. Look at that.
Ryan Sickler
Look at that.
Tina D. Ball
Yummy. That's what I'm talking about. Why this is why I'm obsessed with fonts is because of this.
Ryan Sickler
So this wasn't fair. This is there all the time.
Tina D. Ball
All the time, year round, baby. Worlds of Fun. Oceans of fun right next to each other. You use your Pepsi can to pop in.
Ryan Sickler
Yeah.
Tina D. Ball
Boom.
Ryan Sickler
So Worlds of Fun is the Dry rides and then oceans of fun. Is the water park.
Tina D. Ball
No, it's opposite.
Ryan Sickler
I'm just trying to clear the name situation.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, so.
Ryan Sickler
Because they're both stupid.
Tina D. Ball
Hey, you, man. These were sick as you piece of. Look at that map. You want to tell me that's not.
Ryan Sickler
I love your excitement for this right now. Would you open that map and be like, we're going here and here and here. Would you do that?
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah. My dad would be so proud watching this. Look at that, the colors.
Ryan Sickler
Let's zoom in here. Oh, so we have different country. We got Africa.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Wait, we've got. What's that over there? Scandinavia, Europa.
Tina D. Ball
Yep. Looks like.
Ryan Sickler
What is that down there?
Tina D. Ball
Americana.
Ryan Sickler
What's that one bottom left? What's that say? Onions. What the hell does that say?
Tina D. Ball
Orient. Yeah, they used. Okay. No, no, you get out of that one, man.
Ryan Sickler
Fun for everybody except the Asians.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, they. It was problematic. They changed it name. Okay.
Ryan Sickler
What is.
Tina D. Ball
That's not that. They took the Orient Express ride out of there.
Ryan Sickler
Yeah, that had to go. What's the bottom left say? That little log something. 79.
Tina D. Ball
79. Great times.
Ryan Sickler
Oh, there's. Is there 79 or is that the poster from 79?
Tina D. Ball
That's got to be the poster from 79. Either way. Listen, this ride they had their man called the Timberwolf.
Ryan Sickler
Tell me about it.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God, dude, it shaky to your core. I'm pretty sure I have brain damage from it.
Ryan Sickler
Is it roller coaster?
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, wooden roller coaster.
Ryan Sickler
I listen, tell me because someone got to share one with you. Yeah.
Tina D. Ball
Head gone on the Timberwolf. On the Timberwolf. Yeah, buddy.
Ryan Sickler
There it is.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, buddy.
Ryan Sickler
14 year old was thrown to her death from a roller coaster. Ryan. Oh, it's poorly.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, it was terr. I mean, it was terrifying.
Ryan Sickler
She got thrown off.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah. There was one piece of wood that was new because all of the wood was old. And it was like everybody knew it. Like when you would get on that ride, it was like everyone would kind of be like, oh, man. When you'd see that splatter, obviously. Oh, yeah, they kept it up.
Ryan Sickler

Tina D. Ball
But how. Look. Oh, and this thing, my mom would not ride it. She was like. She was like, absolutely not. I will have concussion. I can't do this. Yeah, that was us partying it up, dude.
Ryan Sickler
Igor.
Tina D. Ball
Svetlana. Igor.
Ryan Sickler
Your brother's name down there.
Tina D. Ball
Anton.
Ryan Sickler
Anton.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Kirsten, look up. King's Dominion, the Grizzly. This is a wooden roller coaster we grew up on at a park called King's Dominion that Paramount bought out later. It used to be Hanna Barbera. Are you even familiar with Hanna Barbera characters?
Tina D. Ball
I don't. I feel like I have heard that before.
Ryan Sickler
These are all the characters like Hair Bear and.
Tina D. Ball
Oh yeah, yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Flintstones. Yogi Bear. This was their crop of.
Tina D. Ball
Sure, absolutely.
Ryan Sickler
What's his name?
Tina D. Ball
And that was the theme parks. Like, is that the characters y'all would park.
Ryan Sickler
You would park in like Fred Flintstone lot or you'd park in the Scooby Doo lot or, you know, whatever. And then those characters will be scattered around through the park. Like you go get a drink and it'd be a Scooby Doo grape juice or some. You know what I mean? Yes.
Tina D. Ball
That's sick. As.
Ryan Sickler
So this is the Grizzly. This came and it was all. No loops or anything. Same thing, all wooden roller coaster. And this thing, when you'd stand in line next to it, you would see the. It would bend out at you and you're like, we're getting in there.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah. You could like watch the wind almost. I know what you're talking about. Yes, it's. It's scary. And then there's like a 12 year old operator POV.
Ryan Sickler
Yeah.
Tina D. Ball
It's like, what the.
Ryan Sickler
All hand. Yeah, that's it.
Tina D. Ball
Two 16 year olds that are clearly trying to. It's what the.
Ryan Sickler
And then they had a roller coaster. This made me laugh so hard. The Rebel yell. So the rebel yell was sort of like this, the colossal or colossus out here. That big wooden one that was at Magic Mountain that they finally closed.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
This was the rebel yell like this in. In King's Dominion.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, it had one of those drops that'll make your heart fall into after.
Ryan Sickler
And in a circle. But what happened was then the grizzly came. But then the. It was called the King Cobra. I think it wasn't. Was just. Just ride that you went down. You did one loop back through the loop and that was it.
Tina D. Ball
Okay. And like the boomerang type of thing, right?
Ryan Sickler
Yeah. And then all Aridus. Yep, that's it. Man. My memory's pretty good.
Tina D. Ball
And it wasn't awesome to watch that play out.
Ryan Sickler
And boom, you'd go. Then all of a sudden all the crazy coasters came out and the rebel yell was just this old coaster. And I laugh so hard because they were like. One year we go in and they're like got a new, new rebel yells all brand new. And they're doing commercials on tv like what the fuck are you talking about? We get in there. Know what they did?
Tina D. Ball
No.
Ryan Sickler
They just ran it backwards. You just got in it and went backwards on the same track. Same hill that just looked that way. Like we are in this seat right now. Going up the hill this way. That was the whole. The rebel yells. Brand new. That was their way to try to compete with.
Tina D. Ball
We're going back in time. That thing right there, that was like their slowdown.
Ryan Sickler
Going down that hill backwards is pretty wild though.
Tina D. Ball
For sure. I mean you're like.
Ryan Sickler
But it's not as scary.
Tina D. Ball
Did you ever do one of the. Did you ever go to like a Six Flags and do like a Mr. Freeze ride? One that'll blow your tits off. You know what I'm talking about? Oh, there are these rides. There's this ride at.
Ryan Sickler
What's this one?
Tina D. Ball
Six Flags Over Texas, baby. That's where it is. Cuz my dad and brother, my family was into roller coasters. My dad and brother went on like a 12 day roller coaster party. I swear.
Ryan Sickler
Are you serious?
Tina D. Ball
I swear to God.
Ryan Sickler
Day after day park riding roller coaster. Which ones did they go to? Why didn't you go?
Tina D. Ball
Because I had like a figure skating thing or something and I. I think I couldn't. But we loved roller coasters, dude. Oh, they went to like Cedar Point. And my dad was serious. My dad was like, okay, we wake up at 7am we show up, we show up.
Ryan Sickler
He's showing up, he's showing Up. He ain't just getting to the part. He's showing up.
Tina D. Ball
He's like, we show up, we have snacks packed in back of car. We put adequate sunscreen. He would, like, always have the sunscreen on. That was just. It's like, you don't have to have that much on. Just rub it in, rub it in.
Ryan Sickler
It's fine.
Tina D. Ball
Rub it in, rub it. And he's, like, wearing his fanny pack, walking around like a. A.
Ryan Sickler
So what's. What's your dad's favorite roller coaster, then? If he's been on all these coasters? He have a favorite?
Tina D. Ball
Honestly, I don't know. I'll have to ask him.
Ryan Sickler
There was one, too, called White Water Canyon. That was a king's dominion, too. And that was the first, like, ride where you get into white water and you get on that raft, and then there'd be a deck where people get up there because it would come down and splash everybody.
Tina D. Ball
And, bro, I have never chafed like I did when I was a kid at these parks.
Ryan Sickler
Did you know every nook and cranny of that park, too? Like, every restroom or at least where you needed to go and stuff?
Tina D. Ball
Yes, for sure. I was comfortable there.
Ryan Sickler
This was buck wild.
Tina D. Ball
I'd show up with a friend who'd never been. I'm like, this is the Mamba. And I'm like, you know, I'm like.
Ryan Sickler
Showing him around 450 yards of track, nine loops, three raven turns, and a backwards drop.
Tina D. Ball
Look at that. I'm holding.
Ryan Sickler
I'm holding.
Tina D. Ball
I'm holding them close. I'm like. I'm like, do you smell that?
Ryan Sickler
Oh, I smell it.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah. That right there is gasoline that is powering the fastest.
Ryan Sickler
Did you ever go do go karts or anything like that? Were you into that, too?
Tina D. Ball
I mean, like, I would do them kind of, but it's like, I wasn't really interested in that. I'm looking at. Let's go. Let's get.
Ryan Sickler
I love that you're a whole. Your mom. No, but dad, brother, and you. The three of you are like, my mom.
Tina D. Ball
My mom would do a couple of them. She's like, okay, this one I can handle. This one is fine. It's smooth. They would. They had, like. We had, like, a glossary that our family kind of used to describe roller coasters. It was like, we were all, like, very into it, you know, My mom would be like, oh, okay, this one is very smooth. You know, I can ride this one. This one, it's too. I get whiplash my neck, and it's like, okay, dude. Like, she was also kind of dramatic, I think, but whatever.
Ryan Sickler
What, so that's your summers or are you doing this year round, like whenever the parks are open, or is it just summers?
Tina D. Ball
Mostly summers. And it was really just like a couple of summers because I think like we got a season pass or something for free one year and all that. And it was like we went ham. Because the only way everywhere, my parents.
Ryan Sickler
For these parks, like if you're in Kansas City and you're driving to like, what was. Was you said Cedar Point.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah, that. I never went to Cedar Point. My dad and brother did.
Ryan Sickler
They drove from Kansas City to Ohio.
Tina D. Ball
I am telling you, they went on a 12 day rager rage.
Ryan Sickler
I've never in my life.
Tina D. Ball
I'm not. I mean, imagine what these nerds were doing. Oh, they were. They were having a blast zone. We were checking in, like, what's going on, man? Like, tell us about the rides.
Ryan Sickler
All right, so let's talk about going to the mall. Is mom the one going to the mall then?
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Is that who you're rolling with? To the mall?
Tina D. Ball
Rolling to the mall.
Ryan Sickler
What's the mall you would go to?
Tina D. Ball
Oak Park Mall.
Ryan Sickler
Oak Park Mall in Kansas City?
Tina D. Ball
Yep, Oak Park Mall. And then there was a Great Plains Mall also. That was another one.
Ryan Sickler
And are you getting dropped off? Is that what would happen?
Tina D. Ball
Sometimes you'd be getting dropped off, man. And the, the. God. And then when I got older, you know, because I was younger, I had older friends, they would drive, so we would go there and I mean, we, you know, get one cute ass little dress from Charlotte Russe. We'd go there and.
Ryan Sickler
Are you stealing?
Tina D. Ball
No, no, no. I mean. Well, sometimes. Yeah. Well, I mean, I definitely one item or something. Yeah, for sure. I am.
Ryan Sickler
As often as I can.
Tina D. Ball
I. Yeah. Any chance I could get away with it?
Indeed Advertiser
For sure.
Tina D. Ball
I owe Target a lot of money.
Ryan Sickler
All right, this is the mall you're rolling around.
Tina D. Ball
This is updated. Like, this is so. I haven't lived in KC since 2009, obviously. This is nice. Oh, baby. Yeah, there was a ton of, you know, whatever malls there were in Kansas City, we would definitely go. We would go to them all the time.
Ryan Sickler
Let's see if we can find this mall. Kirsten, see if you can find secure. It's gone now. Security mall.
Tina D. Ball
What a fucking lame name.
Ryan Sickler
Woodlawn, Maryland. Right there, motherfucker. Still there. Okay, let's look good.
Tina D. Ball
At least it's still popping. That's awesome.
Ryan Sickler
Look at it. Okay, first of all. Okay, go to go back to Plains.
Tina D. Ball
Of the park is the nice one.
Ryan Sickler
Okay. My mom was addicted to shopping and would take us to go security mall and go 16 plus. That was the store. My mom's six foot tall.
Tina D. Ball
No, she was not. Hell yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Still is.
Tina D. Ball
That's awesome.
Ryan Sickler
Six foot tall.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, sorry. I don't know why I thought she.
Ryan Sickler
Died and we would. Well, she didn't shrink either.
Tina D. Ball
You didn't even.
Ryan Sickler
She's still six.
Tina D. Ball
I was sure she was dead and.
Ryan Sickler
She would take us to this store called sixteen plus all the time. That's where she would shop. I don't know if you're gonna find it or not. This is old. This. I mean, I'm a kid. This is the 80s when we go to the store. So it's me and my two brothers and we're just non stop and 16 plus, you know, and it's.
Tina D. Ball
You're obsessed.
Ryan Sickler
It's just all big tall ladies and you know what I mean? And we're just us dicks. We're hiding in the clothing rack and when they open it, we're like, ah, we're doing. Stop.
Tina D. Ball
I pissed my pants. Oh, God, it's so stupid.
Ryan Sickler
I know exactly what you mean. We'd hide it down, like, watch this. And then the lady open. I'm like, my mom, like Ryan, God damn it. Yelling across.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God.
Ryan Sickler
Shopping for her big top or whatever. Oh, I laugh. We would laugh so hard, hide it and just be like this. When they. When they slide the clothes over, just be in there like there's a kid in it. You know, like. Like there's three of us.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, you're like grabbing people's ankles.
Ryan Sickler
That's what we would do. We hated it. We just be sitting like, how long are you gonna be at 16 plus? Like it wasn't a big. It wasn't like a JC penny, you know what I mean? There wasn't that much in there. We're in there for like an hour at a time.
Tina D. Ball
Like, come on, man.
Ryan Sickler
But we knew the mall, man. I knew every nook and cranny of that mall. And then on the outside, see if you can find this, Kirsten. The Muslims would sell. They would stand in traffic. You'd be trying to get into the mall and they're out there selling bean pies. I've never seen anything like this in my life anywhere. You know how you get on off ramp here and it's somebody selling flowers? These dudes were always selling bean pies in traffic.
Tina D. Ball
So did you ever try one?
Ryan Sickler
No. Hell no.
Tina D. Ball
Tried you never gave it a chance.
Ryan Sickler
Do you understand how traumatic traumatized we were? We were about to roll into 16 plus.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah, for sure.
Ryan Sickler
We wanted to borrow pizza.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Or whatever was in that food court that we loved your bean pie.
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
And these big ladies at 16 plus.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, for sure. I get that.
Ryan Sickler
There was nothing like the joy of somebody opening up and just stranger just going hi to a stranger.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah, brother. Oh, I had so much fun there at the malls.
Ryan Sickler
What would you do? What was the stuff you do?
Tina D. Ball
All sorts of cool. Eat Panda Express, eat Chinese food. I mean, just eat. A lot of eating. There was a lot of eating. We would go there just strictly for a meal. But, you know, we'd go get a dress or something at whatever store there was. Wet Seal or Deb.
Ryan Sickler
Yeah.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, I'd go to Deb.
Ryan Sickler
I don't remember. Show me that one.
Tina D. Ball
I don't remember. God, I bought so many thongs at Deb Deb. Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
Let me see this one.
Tina D. Ball
Trashy as Deb shop. So nasty.
Ryan Sickler
I don't remember these.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, yeah, dude, we did. We did. Deb Delia's.
Ryan Sickler
We never had this.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, God, Ryan. It's trashy as. Look at that. Look.
Ryan Sickler
Is it like 3 for 10.99?
Tina D. Ball
Pretty much. Yeah, for sure. But you could get these cool thongs, you know, it was fun. Oh, God. Dresses.
Ryan Sickler
From there you get your prom dress. That's in 2014. That's 10 years ago. Are they out of business?
Tina D. Ball
Oh, probably for sure. Love them all. Definitely went there for a lot of dresses. Clothes with friends when I got older and all that. But it's like my mom. We would never. Everything that we did was all clearance upset. Like my mom was obsessed with it. She would not buy anything full price. I mean, she would not buy me anything from Limited two unless it was Christmas or my birthday, which was one day a year.
Ryan Sickler
And that's full price. At that point. She's like, that's when I'll spend no price.
Tina D. Ball
She would be shopping all year long and putting them in the closet. Whatever. She's like, okay, I got this Limited two set.
Ryan Sickler
So she's just watching sales and just pulling them and saving them anytime she goes there.
Tina D. Ball
Yep, that's what she was doing.
Ryan Sickler
My mom was not doing that at 16 plus.
Tina D. Ball
No, she was going hard.
Ryan Sickler
Limited too, huh?
Tina D. Ball
Yeah.
Ryan Sickler
The mall and amusement parks. What a time. It's all gone.
Tina D. Ball
Oh, it is all gone.
Ryan Sickler
But it was fun. We got so much.
Tina D. Ball
We got so much to talk about. I could talk about this forever.
