I'm your host, Hilary Kerr. But today I am passing the mic to associate fashion director Eliza Huber and senior fashion and social editor Tara Gonzalez, who are here to recap everything you need to know about New York Fashion Week. The two of them sat down between shows on Sunday to give you a front row seat to all the fall winter 2026 collections. They're discussing the standout pieces, designers to watch, and of course, the most important trends to expect come fall. It's all coming up on who what?
C
Well, Tara, I'm so excited to be doing this with you again.
B
Same.
C
It is the Sunday of New York Fashion Week. We just finished up at Sandy Liang. How are you feeling?
B
Well, I'm feeling great because we just got back from Sandy Liang. So what's your favorite? Which is actually my favorite. I'm currently wearing this Sandy actually top and hair clips. So I was like, very ready for the show. I feel like that was both of our kind of last shows. So I feel like that was like a really fun one to kind of end on because to me, it feels like so quintessential New York because she's like such a New York brand. Like, she's from New York. Her clothing is like, really whimsical and quirky and fun. And I feel like everyone there is always just like, so happy to be there, which I think isn't always the case with like, you know, everyone's super tired for fashion Week, like, shuffling around, doing a ton of stuff. So I honestly feel like that was. I'm feeling great because I feel like, the energy was, like, really lovely and really cute. And so that's kind of the vibe I'm. I'm currently in.
C
I'm kind of obsessed with Sandy doing shows on the Upper east side because it is such, like, a downtown, playful brand. And then in the context of, like, kind of a quieter neighborhood, it's just like the Sandy takeover. It's just, like, satin and bows. Wait, that's taking over the street? Yes.
B
Actually, that's such a good point. Cause I didn't even think. I always. I do find it funny when she does the shows uptown, because you're right. I feel like I associate her brand so much with Downtown Square.
C
Yeah, exactly.
B
Like, with, like, Chinatown and, like, her store there. And, like, obviously, like, her. You know, she grew up going there and her family is there. But it is, like, really funny because, like, taking it out of that context and then seeing all of the, like, really quiet neighborhood, and then it's just. Just like, this corner of, like, girls in, like, school girl skirts and, like, bows.
C
Yeah.
B
All the hair is, like, exactly like. I feel like my driver was, like, driving me up the street, and then he started seeing all these, like, girls, like, getting out of their cars and, like, in similar aesthetic kind of outfits. And I think he was like, oh, are you going where they're going? And I was like, yeah. He's like, okay. Like, he was like, definitely, like, so confused.
C
And then there was just Post Malone.
B
Wait, yeah, can we talk about that? So Post Malone was at the Sandy Liang show, which was the most, I think, unexpected, in my opinion. Love to hear yours. I feel like that's the most unexpected Fashion Week guest.
C
Yeah.
B
We still don't know why he was there.
C
No. You know, if somebody knows, hit us up in the DMs. I want to hear about your. Other than Sandy, which I feel like you can also say. But your personal favorite shows, like, what has stuck with you this week?
B
I really loved the Zankoff show, which I feel like both of us were kind of talking. It was, like, such a standout for me because I feel like every look, honestly, I thought was, like, top to bottom, was really beautifully styled. And I loved so many textures, so many colors. I feel like you were saying no one is kind of doing colors. Like, he is, like, the color combos and so many unexpected patterns and prints that shouldn't work together. He's very good, in my opinion, of, like, the so wrong it's right kind of look where, you know, that's pretty hard, obviously, to pull off. But I Feel like the way that those looks had so much going and yet still felt very cohesive. And I love them. And I also feel like sometimes you see a show like that and you're like, it's so beautiful, but I can't imagine myself in it. But I feel like everything that he was. That I was seeing, I was like, oh, and I also want that, or I want to style things like that. For me, that's like a show that I keep looking back and thinking about what about. What about you?
C
I feel like Tori, for me is like, yeah, that's. It's always either my favorite of the week or in the top three. And this season was no exception. I think over the last, like, I don't know, five years, she's just, like, gotten into this groove of being so herself. Like, it feels like she's, like, untethered to all the stressors of the fashion industry and all the pressures and is just, like, doing what she wants and really following her inspiration wherever it takes her. And it just always results in pieces that I want to actually buy. And I know so many other fashion girls want to buy because we're all, like, fighting over them. We all want the same things color wise. Those, like, sheer, drapey dresses. The one that was orange, I thought was so beautiful. I have, like three of her ones from a few seasons ago that was that same, like, sheer draping. And I wear it all the time and always get compliments. So I'm like, maybe that'll be my buy.
B
Yeah, you're like, what's another one? We'll see.
C
There's a lot of buys to come, and I think Calvin was a favorite. It was my first Calvin show, which was exciting. And I just think that what Veronica is doing is, like, kind of going back to the Calvin that we all want to see. That, like, classic 90s minimalist, but also, like, unique and a little different. And in that time, it was always worn by professional women who also had, like, this really elevated sense of style. And I feel like that's kind of the woman that will be wearing it. And man, but what were some of the standout shows that you feel like everyone was talking about outside of us? That was just, like, the chatter.
B
I do feel like a lot of people were talking about Calvin. I feel like Prenza had. People were obviously always talking, like, you know, with Rachel Scott. And I feel like a lot of people were interested in how Prenza was gonna look and also how Diotimo was gonna look, because now that she's Doing both. So I feel like that was something that a lot of people were talking about.
C
It's always interesting when it's, like, in the same city, like, the same designer doing the same city, because you see it with, like, Jonathan Anderson, but it's like they're separated, so you can kind of, like, get it in one context and then get it in another and have, like, a break between. So it's always interesting to see when it's just, like, a few days apart kind of how they are. This wasn't a show, but I feel like Colleen Allen is like, oh, yeah, the. The name in New York now. And for the last, like, two, three seasons, she just did a presentation. But it was like, you know how hard it is to get an editor or a stylist to do a standalone feed post about a brand's collection. I feel like it doesn't happen very often, but I've seen so many about Colleen's collection, especially those, like, bum bags, the velvet bum bags.
B
Love those.
C
Just because the pieces are so beautiful and you don't even need a show. You don't need this big statement to make them kind of shine. It's just like, one model can be enough to. Because the clothes speak for themselves.
B
Yeah. I was going to say, I totally agree with you about Colleen Allen, because I do feel like everyone that I spoke to was like, oh, like, what are you excited about? And everyone was like, oh, you know, this February. I feel like, in general, the calendar was, like, a little bit. There wasn't as many shows this season. It definitely felt a little quieter. But I do feel like Colleen Allen, everyone was, like, really excited to go to. To have an appointment and, like, because I wouldn't even say it's like a really. A presentation. It's like they just have the model, like, trying the stuff on. It's like a preview. I do feel like, weirdly, like, with the Colleen Allen brand, it just also makes so much sense to me. Like, I don't know if she's planning on ever doing a show, but even, like, this format, it just, like. I don't know, it feels like something that's, like. So that now it's like her thing, you know, her signature of the week. Everyone's like, oh, I can't wait to kind of go to that appointment and just watch this beautiful model and talk.
C
And see beautiful things.
B
Yeah. Exact flow in this room, like, with the clothing. And then she turns, and it's always like, oh, the details. Drama.
C
Okay, what about accessories? Did anything stand out to You?
B
Oh, yes. Okay. So the way I started fashion week was at the Coach show, and I feel like I'm always, like, super excited about the accessories there. I feel like they've been doing a lot of really good bag. Actually, this bag I wore today is a coach bag. Shout out, coach. But I feel like they always have really great bags, and I feel like this season they had this kind of like, they were all carrying it, like, in their hands, like, clutch, like, scrunch. It was like a clutch that looked like the way, like, a newspaper looks, you know, when you're holding it like that. And I feel like that texture was, like, really interesting to me, and it was something I kind of noticed immediately. And then also towards the end, they basically had bags that looked like baseball mitts and, like, an old football.
C
Yeah. The kiss lock on the top was so cute.
B
Which.
C
So cute because it's, like, such a fun balance of, like, kind of feminine. Yeah.
B
Woman about town and then, like, a sports situation. So I feel like I loved that kind of. That dynamic, too, was really interesting and what made those bags really fun. So I feel like that was, like, one of the fun accessory. And I'm honestly hoping that they commercialize. I mean, I'm assuming that they're going to, but sometimes they have, like, really fun pieces on the Runway that don't get commercialized. But those baseball mitts and the football.
C
Would be so cute to go to a baseball game and just like, vintage jeans and a, like, Dodgers T shirt or like, a Yankees T shirt and then the mitt as, like, this fashion accessory.
B
Right.
C
I feel like, as someone who covers, like, a lot of sports stuff and, yes. Goes to a lot of sporting events, you always want one thing at least that kind of feels like you. Because, like, the merch is all very general, but you want something that feels, like, fashiony. Any other accessories?
B
So speaking of bags, I actually. I am really, really obsessed with the Eccoslata snap bag. And this season, they had it on the Runway. It has, like, a top handle, and it just has these, like, little, like, snaps. Like, little, like, kind of silver things that you can kind of like.
C
Zippers are out.
B
Zipper. Yeah. No more zippers.
C
No more zippers. We're kiss locking. We're snapping.
B
You're right. We're kiss locking. We're doing. We're doing this.
C
That, like, Alaia, what is the one that's, like, click, click? Yeah.
B
We're clicking. We're snapping. We're clicking. We're snapping. We're not zipping.
C
Sorry, Mr. Zipper.
B
So. So I love. I really, really love the OG Snapback. I love the kind of top handle snap bag. It's just like, comes in such great colors. It's such a practical bag. Doesn't even. I mean, I'm pretty sure it says echoes odd on it, but you can't really tell. It's just like, very kind of understated. So I loved that we talked about the Sandy, but the Sandy. The bunny shoe. Or was it the lamb shoe?
C
I don't know what it was, but it was, like, very adorable.
B
We both gasped. You, me, and the, like, 4 year old had, like, little ears. The Runway, we were all like, appeal to everybody. Women of all ages and little girls. Yeah, that was so.
C
We're all little girls. It's like that mutio Prada where she's like, y. Yeah, mew mews for my little girl or whatever. Like, exactly.
B
Mean grown woman with these hairy lips in my hair. But it was like, that was such a cute shoe. And I'm like, I simply must know more about this and also what animal it is, because we just saw it like an hour ago. And so I can't tell if it had ears or not. Lamb or bunny little ears.
C
So maybe it was a bunny.
B
Maybe it was a bunny.
C
Regardless, I didn't bring my glasses, so.
B
Well, regardless, it was adorable. You could tell it was adorable without your glasses, which means it was really cute.
A
Tell me if I'm alone here. Who what? Wear listeners. But shopping used to feel more fun before all the algorithm fed law and the endless sea of dupes. But I have a confession. I've found that fun feeling again on ebay. It's not mindless scrolling. It's a fashion pursuit. And when you score that rare Adidas collab or the Dior saddlebag you've been manifesting, it's a rush. Ebay has millions of pre loved finds from hundreds of brands backed by ebay. Authenticity guarantee. Ebay Things people love.
C
Okay, so I love using Runway styling as styling inspiration. I feel like the Runway stylists don't often get kind of the hype they deserve because, like, like, those looks are like, putting the look together is a huge part of the fanfare of it all. Yeah. Did you see anything interesting that you kind of want to try yourself in terms of styling?
B
I feel like one thing that I definitely, and I had mentioned this obviously earlier, was I feel like Zen cough. Like, just like seeing the. The way that I was like, oh, stripes with argyle. I feel like that was like a really good show for me to be like, okay, these are lots of things that I already, like, have in my closet. Like, I have, like, sequins in my closet. I have argyle in my closet.
C
And maybe they feel, like, dated in closet, but.
B
Exactly.
C
This is a new way.
B
Yeah. So I feel like that's totally, like, I was like, oh, wait, this is like, all these different ways that I can, like, maybe wear my argyle that I, like, haven't thought to wear in a while. Or I have this, like, sequin skirt that maybe feels too fancy. And I feel like it just, like, seeing the way that he was playing with textures and patterns and then making it look, it helped me, like, think about things that I already have in my closet, which is obviously the best Runway styling, when you could be like, wait, I don't even need to buy. I mean, I still want, like, as.
C
Much as you want to buy stuff, like, as much as it makes you want to buy. It also just, like, creates this treasure trove of outfits to copy exactly and play around with.
B
Another thing was that I feel like. And you and I were talking about this, I think, on our way over here, that there was a lot of, like, texture. We were just saying, like, Sandy had, like, fuzzy. I loved that there was, like, fuzzy shoes. And I really liked the way that she had worn it with, like, some. Or she had styled it with, like, some kind of, like, sweat pieces.
C
Yeah.
B
Some like, like, a sweatshirt, like, sweatpant. And I was like, okay, that's like, an interesting way to think about, like, fuzzy kind of texture. And also at Eckau Slotta, a lot of the models had these kind of, like, fuzzier pieces that they wore around their neck with, like, just, like, very sleek, sexy skirt top. And I was like, okay, that's, like, fun to think about, because I think sometimes when I think about, like, fuzzy or, like, that kind of thing, it's more of, like, I'm layering on top of my, like, winter coat, or I'm wearing a fuzzy jacket, or I have a fuzzy scarf on, or I'm thinking more of as a utilitarian thing. And I think on in those two runways, I is almost like, a little, like, cherry on top of the outfit.
C
Almost.
B
Or on the bottom, in the case of the shoes, but just like, adding a nice little interesting texture in a way that wasn't necessarily for, like, warmth, if that makes sense.
C
I feel like you should get a boa.
B
Oh, I like that idea.
C
I actually, like. I feel like. Like, you could find something really cool that feels, like, not, like, A party boa, but like a cool.
B
Like a woman. Like a woman's boa.
C
1920S boa.
B
Yeah. Like a woman who has, like, galas to go to.
C
Yeah.
B
She's like, I need my boa. Yeah, that could be me.
C
If anyone could.
B
Exactly. Thanks. So what about you, Eliza? You've enabled me to get a boa. So what can I help you get?
C
Oh, God. I'm really into at Kate. I saw this a lot, which was like, a coat and thigh high boots. I'm very into, like, boot as pants. We talk a lot about, like, boot as pant, coat as dress, coat as outfit, boot as pants, and then you're.
B
Like, wearing no actual clothing.
C
Nothing. But I feel like I just. Just want to invest my money in, like, a beautiful coat that I can wear every single day and feel, like, fabulous in it.
B
Yeah.
C
And be warm and then, like, just adding on a boot or like. And you always. I feel like we always say this about, like, you could wear sweatpants underneath. If you get a long, really long, fabulous coat, you could wear sweatpants underneath.
B
And it looks chic, honestly. And I feel like that looks really chic in general.
C
And, like, that's kind of what I want to do. And then add, like, a thigh high boot so that when the coat, like, opens, you just have this, like, little amazing boot.
B
I have fun boots on today too. Vintage. Vintage Bottega leopard print.
C
10 out of 10.
B
10 out of 10.
C
I feel like styling wise, other than that, I'm like, the runways give me all the inspiration for color combinations.
B
Yeah.
C
I feel like the weirder the better because I won't think of them. Like, if you can't tell, you're like.
B
I got the classics.
C
I'm like, black, navy, white, cream, gray. It makes you want to try something different.
B
Yes.
C
I feel like that's what I always love about Prada, because it's always like, pink, green, orange, gray ways to do it. And I feel like, like, Zenkov was a great example of that. Like, the red and blue together. I would never really think to do that. And now I'm like, I know.
B
You're like, I need to do that.
C
What do I have that's red and blue? What about, like, surprise collections? Did anything come up that you were like, this feels like a. A new thing for them, a new kind of direction, or that you were just like, wow, okay.
B
Wasn't expecting that in something really interesting. Is that a lot of the brands do feel like they. They really kind of have. They have, like, this their girl or this The. The person that they're, like, speaking to, and they do such a good job at, like, creating this, like, kind of, like, community, like, behind their brand. And so I feel like a lot of the collections kind of feel not, like, similar, but I do feel like, a lot of very unexpected, like, cutouts in places. Like, there was, like, kind of, like, we saw some dresses.
C
Oh, yeah. Like a cutout in the armpit.
B
In the armpit. At Castle Auto show, they had a lot of, like, cutouts, like, at the hip bones, almost, like, just, like, a little, like, cut. And then I feel like, obviously, Colleen Allen has, like, some very sexy pieces in general, but I feel like this season, there's a lot of, like, completely sheer, like, black skirt with, like, a blazer or, like, a kind of, like, top that was completely, like, you know, buttoned up and everything, and then all those really beautiful, like, black, like, lace tops that was worn with nothing underneath. So I feel like that was something in general that I was noticing. And I feel like, like, you know, the sexiness is, like, that kind of showing your showing skin and stuff. Like, that's always in a thing in fashion. But I do feel like for a while, it was, like, with quiet luxury and maybe, like, also coming out of the pandemic, I feel like everything felt very, like, buttoned up and covered up, and, like, people were, like, right out of the pandemic, people weren't really going as many places. So I feel like we're starting to just see a little bit more sexiness in collections. And I think that, to me, was, like, a little bit, like, maybe not surprising, but something that I was, like, noticing that I was like, okay, this definitely feels, like, a little bit, like, we're kind of moving in a little bit of a different direction. Yeah, I think it's exciting.
C
I'm excited to see how that kind of continues throughout the rest of the shows in every city, because I feel like we reported a lot on it for spring with, like, Hermes getting sexier, sort of, and Tom Ford and just, like, brands kind of trying out tighter fits or, like, leathers and more, like, corsetting and just, like, a more raw, kind of sexy feel. That's easier in spring, you know, like, yeah, of course everyone's going out. You're wearing, like, a tiny dress, whatever it is. Yeah. But I feel like for fall, it's harder to see how that can work, and so I'm excited to see kind of how that continues to develop.
B
I was just realizing at coach, they were, like, not wearing shirts or they Were wearing a lot of the jackets open. And that's something, too, that I think. I think even across the collections, too, a lot of people. A lot of the styling was, like, things really worn open or falling off the shoulder or like, a skirt kind of falling a little and seeing a little midriff and kind of fun.
C
I feel like that off the shoulder, like, the falling spaghetti strap was, like, all over the shows last season. I'm like, I like it. It feels like an interesting touch. And, like, what is it trying to say? I feel like we hear that a lot where it's just like, this kind of stuff happens to women, so we're trying to show a little bit of realistic happenstance on the Runway so it's not also, like, perfect and buttoned up. It's like, we live crazy lives. We're multifaceted.
B
Yeah.
C
Our clothes should be the same.
B
I feel like showing. Seeing a little, like, strap falling or even, like, I feel like also, a lot of people were commenting. I feel like I had written this piece last season about, like, I was like, bras are happening. Like, they're showing, like, bra straps again. And it's, like, not like a wrinkle.
C
Like a purposeful wrinkle.
B
Exactly. Like a little crinkle. And it's like, you don't have to, like, hide that stuff, because it's like, clothing is supposed to be things that you wear to, like. Like, to. To live your life in. So why are you gonna hide the signs of that life that you've lived, you know? And I think that having clothing that reflects that versus being like, okay, you need. Your shapes need to be, like. You know what I mean? Like, perfectly up, and, like, you can't have anything, you know, anything crinkled or no wrinkles.
C
It always makes me think of stick it.
B
Oh, my God. I was like, weird. Wow. Where are you going with this?
C
That's my favorite movie.
B
So true.
C
Anyway, I do have one. I feel like Carolina Herrera, though. It's, like, always gonna be for that really elegant, sophisticated woman and that I.
B
Got Alice to go to.
C
I love her, you know, like. Yeah. But I think this season, Wes Gordon kind of shifted it a little bit to be a touch more wearable and, like, approachable, but still have that, like, real beautiful elegance to it. But there was just, like, some looks that felt a little bit more casual, and I loved it. I felt like that's always been a brand where I can apprec. But I maybe wouldn't, like, think to add it into my wardrobe. And there were Multiple pieces in that collection that I was like, oh, I. I want that. Like, I want to have an occasion to wear that, too. And maybe it's just like, this collection spoke to me. Yeah. But just in general, I was like, I. I feel this, like, approachability.
B
Yeah, no, that is really different for. For the Carolina Herrera. Yeah, that's a girl who has a boa. The Carolina Herrera.
C
Yes. And no wrinkles.
B
No, sorry. No wrinkles for her.
C
But a boa.
B
But a bo.
C
What about, like, new emerging designers? Were there any that you were excited to see this season?
B
Yeah, well, I mean, I guess, like, we did kind of already talk about this. I'm, like, trying to think, because I was going to say Colleen Allen does feel very obviously, feels like, super new to me still. And I mean, new to a lot of people. She is like. I don't even know how long. How long has the brand been around now?
C
A couple of years, maybe four seasons.
B
Four. Yeah, four seasons. So super new. So I feel like that is one that I've been, like, like, really excited about, like, season after season, because I just feel like her brand appeals so much to what people in fashion I think, are looking for right now because it has, like, a vintage kind of sensibility. Like, it really does feel like something that you would stumble across in a vintage shop and be like, they don't make clothing. They don't make the clothing like they used to, you know? Like, I feel like that's her thing, and I feel like she does such a good job of, like, to go back to the sexiness conversation. It's like her pieces have, like, a really, like, kind of, like, ooze the sexiness. Even if they're not. Even if it's, like, completely button. Button to the top, like the turtleneck. Even if it's, like, a whole. All the buttons, like, the silhouette is still, like, cinches in just right and looks really, like, really beautiful.
C
Okay, so I know, like, we went to a show an hour ago, so we haven't really had that much time to digest, but were there any trends that you're already seeing kind of take shape?
B
Yeah. So I feel like stripes, which I feel like. I feel like we've just been, like, seeing so many, like, kind, like, polka dots. I feel like we're all the, you know, had all of the glory for a while, but I feel like a lot of stripes, a lot of texture, which I feel like we had talked about, but a lot of, like, a lot of embroidery on pieces. I feel like we continue to kind of see a lot of, like, Victorian influence, like, with like, a lot of, like, corset corseting and a lot of, like, really interesting, like, silhouettes, like, cinching silhouette.
C
That's going back to the craft.
B
Going back to the craft of it.
C
Yeah.
B
So I guess that.
C
That I love it.
B
Yeah. What about you?
C
I can't talk about trends without talking about these high vamp pumps, which I don't know if anyone else calls them that. When I wrote about this, I messaged Lauren, who is our executive editorial and style director and was like, what do we call this? Like, And I gave her probably a list of, you know, totally. It could be any of these things. And we decided to call them high vamps, which I feel like, like, that's such a good. We're seeing a lot now, but they've kind of taken on a new look for fall. I swear, essentially the exact same shoe style was at Calvin. I saw them at Michael Kors. I saw it at Proenza. Even, like, Tori had something kind of similar. It's definitely the shoe silhouette, I would say, of the season. But I guess we'll have to see what happens. Like, as the.
B
Well, prediction.
C
I also think, like, turtleneck styling, we're seeing a lot of. I feel like it kind of. We saw it a lot with a lot of highlights. Celine and just like from last season. And I feel like we're kind of seeing that come in like a turtleneck with a button down shirt with a jacket just like two different tones, using color in an interesting way where it's like a tiny pop of color underneath a ton of other things, but you get that little bit. And tweed, which I feel like is kind of the Chanel matu blazey Chanel ification of everything effect. Yeah, just like, I totally really modern wearable takes on tweed. Okay, one last question. The ever important topic of street style, we spend a lot of time. I feel like who I wear is, like, famous for, like, us all coming up with these outfits and like creating boards of what we're gonna wear and like, talking about it all the time. What. What trends did you see on the streets this season? And also kind of like for yourself, were there any exciting pieces or exciting trends that you wanted to incorporate into your looks?
B
Yeah, I feel like the thing that I noticed the most is that obviously in New York in the winter, the coat is the outfit. Like, that is why so many people in New York have incredible coat collections. But I think something interesting is that I saw people accessorizing their coats in really interesting Ways, which is, like, adding brooches. And then I've been seeing a lot of people wearing belts over their coats, which is, like, kind of fun. I feel like that's. I don't remember that really ever kind of being a thing. Like, not a belt that is meant to be with the coat. Like, a different belt. Like a belt with, like, a fun belt buckle or, like, a fun color. And I feel like that's, like, a really interesting and fun street style trend, because I guess I sometimes do wear my coats all the time, and I don't ever think to, like.
C
But it's just, like, a piece you throw on at the end.
B
Yeah, you throw it on at the end. And I'm like, wait, maybe you should be throwing it on the end and then throwing some more stuff on.
C
Yeah.
B
Like the opposite of the Coco Chanel quote about, like. Like, take one thing off before you leave the house. It's like, let me just add one more thing. Let me just keep adding it on. So I feel like that was definitely something. And then another thing that I've been talking about for, like, the last year or so is that I feel like I was like, high heels are coming back. Like, people. I love a ballet flat, and they're not going anywhere. But I do feel like I have been seeing a lot more people wearing, like, high heel. Like, even, like, my. These are, like, smaller heel, but, like, I wore heel, too. And I honestly don't normally wear a heel or I'm not really gravitating towards the heel, but a lot of, like, really pointy shoes. A lot of heels. Again, I feel like happening even in the slushy New York.
C
Yeah.
B
I mean, nothing stops a New York gal from wearing what she wants to wear.
C
No. Great. No snow pile will stop no snow pile.
B
Like, everyone was, like, literally, fully. Like, I'm getting on that snow mound in my Manolos. I mean, whatever.
C
I just want to say that the one day I wore flats, I got blisters.
B
Oh. Oh, my God.
C
Okay. I'm a heels girl.
B
Okay.
C
My feet just. They want to be.
B
They want to be like this.
C
I'm like Margot Robbie on the Wuthering Heights.
B
Oh, my God. Yes.
C
Like, like, truly crazy. Was there one look that you were, like when you went to bed at night that night? Like, I'm thinking about it.
B
Okay. Well, Eliza, you know, I'm gonna go to bed tonight Show. So, like, I loved a lot of the last Sandy looks they had. To your point. They had, like, this, like, kind of, like, flowing. There's a lot of movement to them, which I feel like is not always the case with her. But, like, the last look, like, the white dress, like, had a kind of a train and then one of the dresses had, like, a really, like, long bow that kind of fell down and I like. So maybe this isn't exactly answering you. I also haven't had the time to look over every single Sandy looks, but I was thinking a lot about that kind of, like the way that the model, like, turned and like, the detail, like, kind of followed them in a really, like, beautiful way. Like a little trail of smoke. I really love that. So I feel like I'm going to be thinking about that and I will probably be needing all of those looks just in general. So that's. Yeah. Tonight I'm going to think about that.
C
There were three coats.
B
Okay.
C
There's like a coat. The first coat from Kate.
B
Okay.
C
With the thigh. Ha. Boots.
B
Oh, yeah.
C
Duh. At Kelvin, there was, like, an amazing brown and black furry, big voluminous coat, though the first look at Alazar was, like, black with leather and furry. Obsessed. And the white Calvin dress.
B
Lots of Calvin for you.
C
Well, we could go on for six hours.
B
We could, but we should probably go to sleep.
C
We should probably sleep for the next 45 hours. Yeah, exactly. Happy New York Fashion Week. Another one bites the dust.
B
Yeah, I know. This is so fun, and I'm so glad we got to do another dispatch. So thanks.
