Many accepted routines and values that prioritized productivity over well-being, which she felt led to disconnection and burnout. This realization fueled Debbie's desire to help others create a life they genuinely value, one that aligns with their personal beliefs and well-being, rather than societal expectations.

Tuning In and Giving Yourself Permission

Debbie encourages her clients to slow down, reflect on their desires, and ask, “What do I truly want?” Many of us are so focused on achieving and doing that we seldom consider our core values and life goals. By slowing down, we create space to reflect on what brings joy and fulfillment. Giving ourselves permission to question, rest, and choose a path aligned with our values is a radical but essential act for self-empowerment.

Living Intentionally and Redefining Success

Intentional living is at the heart of Debbie’s coaching. She emphasizes the importance of choosing quality experiences and connections over accumulating material possessions. Living intentionally means considering the impact of our choices on ourselves, others, and the environment. Whether it’s reducing waste, selecting meaningful experiences over physical gifts, or embracing minimalist principles, intentionality allows us to live in harmony with our values.

Building Community and Connection

Debbie’s work isn’t just about individual growth; it’s about building a supportive community. Through her podcast, “New World Normal,” and her membership offerings, she connects like-minded individuals committed to intentional living. From workshops and book clubs to “Dream and Plan Sundays,” Debbie creates spaces where people can set goals, align with their values, and find support from others on the same journey.

Debbie’s approach to coaching adapts to her and her clients' needs. Initially, she offered a traditional 12-week program, but she found that large group launches weren’t suited to her personality. She’s also passionate about using new and full moon cycles for goal-setting and introspection, adding a “woo-woo” touch that resonates with those open to a holistic approach.

Without clear values, many drift through life, following societal expectations rather than their desires. Debbie encourages her clients to explore what makes them happy and understand what “success” and “normal” look like for them personally. This clarity makes decision-making easier, as choices can be evaluated based on alignment with one’s values and life goals.

For many, midlife is a period of reflection, a time to question past decisions and create a future aligned with who they are today. Debbie’s clients, many of whom are navigating midlife, are learning to live with intention rather than simply following old patterns. She provides tools to support this transition, helping them shed past conditioning and embrace a future of authenticity and purpose.
