Alicia Carmody
And we're live on Matchday as Doug reaches for a buffalo wing. He's got it. Oh, and he's gone for a can of Pepsi too. What a finish.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
There's no doubt about it.
Alicia Carmody
It just tastes better.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Match days deserve Pepsi. Hi, pussies. Welcome back to Therapuss. Tonight we have on Alicia from the Real Housewives of Rhode island. One of my favorite shows on television. And it is also one of Manny's favorite shows on television.
Manny
It is.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
This is your first intro.
Manny
This is my first intro and I'm a little nervous.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, don't be nervous.
Manny
Okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
We're going to talk about how much we love Alicia. And what do you love about Real Housewives of Rhode Island?
Manny
What don't I love about the Real Housewives of Rhode Island? Basically every single woman on it is like wild. They all have the best accents ever and just hearing them speak to each other is a treat.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes.
Manny
They're just silly. They're like insane. They all have these like crazy houses and crazy jobs. Like, one of them owns a weed store.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
One of them owns a pizza store where we went.
Manny
I didn't get to go.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Manny and the pizza, you know, I don't like pizza. It's. It was amazing. You know she has the hot honey pizza.
Manny
Yeah. I was looking at their yelp.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She has the heart shaped pizza.
Manny
I know. And I'm really bummed that I wasn't there.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
We'll see her again.
Manny
Oh, I feel it in my bones.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She's everything.
Manny
Yeah, I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She's everything.
Manny
I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And she gives pretty good advice in this episode. She gives some really good advice. The housewives always give great advice.
Manny
Well, cuz they've like, lived lives like all of them. Like they, they've been through a lot pre show and on the show.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I think that's what makes watching Housewives, like, so empowering. I like, feel so empowered when I watch Housewives.
Manny
Me too.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I feel like I'm like, oh my God, if they can do that, I can do anything.
Manny
Yes. Well, also, you were mentioning this before about how it's like they get in these crazy fights and then they move on and they make up and they're best friends again.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Manny
I don't know people like that in real life. And it's so fun to watch that on screen because it really is like, wow. They go to like the deepest dream, darkest depths of their anger and shame and screaming and whatever. And then like a month later, they're best friends again and they move on. Like, they are strong People.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And it's like, kind of the beauty of life.
Manny
I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's like, really, they put water under the bridge, and they're like, we got to make a show. Let's just keep going.
Manny
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I hope you guys enjoyed tonight's episode. We filmed it at Pizza Mama in Rhode island because for me, that there. There was nowhere else to film this episode. Alicia is so. I think she is going. I think she is bound to be one of the greatest housewives we've ever seen.
Billy
I do want to add something, because I went out to Rhode island to film this with everybody, and I want to shout out Billy as well and Alicia because they were so hospital or hospitable. Yes. To me. When I got there, they moved, like, the earth to make sure that we could set up after we went through, like, two bottles of Prosecco, and they just fed me, and then Billy, like, helped me put my luggage into the car for the airport, helped me clean up. And the whole staff at Pizza Mama, it was really fun day, and I just want to shout them out.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, it was fantastic. Shout out Alicia. Shout out Billy. Shout out the entire staff at Pizza Mama. It is really like, you walk in there, and that place feels like home, I'm telling you.
Manny
Also, did you watch the finale?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I did.
Manny
You did?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I did.
Manny
I am obsessed with Billy and Alicia from the finale.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
He loves her so much when he re. Proposed to her.
Manny
I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. It just.
Manny
And then she just kept being like, you've never done anything like this ever, the entire time I've known you, and you have been like, yeah, I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That's why. That's why I'm doing it now.
Manny
I know.
Alicia Carmody
I love them.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You were never homeless. You were never homeless. I know.
Manny
Wow. That's a good impression.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Thank you.
Manny
They keep saying about Liz and. But Liz was saying it about herself, which kind of makes me like. She's like, I'm the sweetest person. I'm a sheep and wolf's clothing. I don't know if you could say that about yourself.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So she's essentially claiming she has a tough exterior, but deep down, she's nice.
Manny
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So her actions are mean, but actually, she's nice.
Manny
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You can't say that about yourself.
Manny
I agree.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Can't wait for the reunion.
Manny
I know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm so excited.
Alicia Carmody
Me too.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Enjoy the episode. I love you guys. Alicia Carmody, welcome to therapist.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, my God. I love you. I'm so excited.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love you.
Manny
I'm so.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I brought you crackers and fig Newtons. And we're drinking wine.
Alicia Carmody
Best gift in the world. Because everyone knows how much I love this. Like, I'm like, literally, I live off of this.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Have you been eating them forever?
Alicia Carmody
I've been eating these since I was, like, a child.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right.
Alicia Carmody
So to be honest with you, with the crackers, I think it's more of, like, a nervous thing. Like, I have anxiety.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
And I didn't realize how much I talked about crackers until watching myself back.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you, like, didn't even clock it in the moment because you were so in it. We were just talking about that.
Alicia Carmody
Ye. Like, it was my anxiety. Like, you know when you get butterflies?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Like, that feeling. I would just want a cracker.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right.
Alicia Carmody
You know, like, some people want a cig. I wanted a cracker.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You smoke cigs?
Alicia Carmody
I used to. I don't love them no more.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Why? Why'd you stop?
Alicia Carmody
I got pregnant.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, okay. Well, that's always a good reason.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. That's always a good reason.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
How was the reunion?
Alicia Carmody
The reunion was. It was needed. It was very much needed. And I feel like a lot of things had to be said and answered for too, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Were you on good terms with everyone?
Alicia Carmody
I was not.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I never. I mean, God, it bring. Filming brings it out of you, huh? Like, really, like.
Alicia Carmody
Because you know what? That, like, I didn't know, like, going into first season is like, if you have to talk about things over and over, so you're, like, getting very emotional talking about things that upset you.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
And I didn't know how the world was going to react, you know, like, you just, like, are just trying to be yourself and just figuring out as you go, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. And you've known Liz since you were, what, like. Like, babies?
Alicia Carmody
Since. Since I was born.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Was it weird, like, filming with her?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, it was fun. But yeah, at the same time, when you're, like, giving me attitude, I'm like, you're giving me attitude on camera, though.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right? That's. At the end of the day, it's like you're calling me out on camera.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Manny
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
So that, like, that part's with me. Like, how do I handle this on camera? Then you're like, you know what? After a while, it's like, if we're just gonna be real, I'm just gonna try this, you know, answer how I would answer her.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Exactly. You know, do you fight like that in, like, real life as well? Or was it, like, do you, like, never fight?
Alicia Carmody
Like, so normally I would have never talked to her again, but Since I'm on the show with her, like, I'm like, well, I have to forgive her, which is good. Forgiveness is good. Instead of me, I run away from problems instead of addressing them. So I feel like that really helped me a lot, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, you, like, shut down.
Alicia Carmody
I shut down and run. I just won't answer phone calls. I avoid like the plague. But on this, you can't do that. You have to face your fears and, like, have to respond. And I didn't know how to do that before.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you think it's, like, making you a better person?
Alicia Carmody
It made me a lot stronger. Yeah, a lot stronger. You know, I didn't realize I was that sensitive.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You aren't that sensitive. I was with you on the homeless thing.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I was team you all the way. That's your truth.
Alicia Carmody
Listen, I never lived on the streets. I never said that. I just said my father, like, sold our home, took all of our money, and I had to move from house to house. I lived my aunt, my grandparents, and then he came back in. And so, like, when she was questioning me, I felt like, you know, my story. But we. We grew up very similar.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Okay.
Alicia Carmody
And I didn't, like, know where to go with that. I was stuck in the car for two hours.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That was two hour drive.
Alicia Carmody
Two hours of the same story, by the way. Two hours. So I was, like, having, like, a severe anxiety attack.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did you have crackers?
Alicia Carmody
I did. Joan kept going, do you want to crack? And I was like, yeah, I do. I'm nervous, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So have you known Joelle? Have you guys have all known each other? Yeah, just not Ashley.
Alicia Carmody
I didn't know Ashley, and I wasn't really close with Rula until maybe a year before we started filming. And same thing with Rose.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, thoughts on Ashley?
Alicia Carmody
Like, very. I thought she was from Nebraska. I was like, wait, they didn't show that. I was like, girl, you are, like, not from here. You are, like, so Nebraskan.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Why Nebraska?
Alicia Carmody
I don't know. It's a vibe. And I, like, don't know anything about Nebraska, but, like, she's Nebraskan.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I've been to Nebraska. And, like, I get it.
Manny
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Say I was right.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, you're always right.
Alicia Carmody
I'm always right.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're always right.
Alicia Carmody
Thank you.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love. So how have you redecorated this place since the show has come out?
Alicia Carmody
We opened it, like, probably like, a few months before the show came out. And this was, like, an express. This was like a tryout, because he owns, like, a lot of restaurants, like, Bigger restaurants. You know what I mean?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, you got to get a stake in those two, right?
Alicia Carmody
Well, no. Well, yeah, well, those are his partners and stuff like that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So that's.
Alicia Carmody
This one is like.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
This is your baby. This is your baby.
Alicia Carmody
So I feel like we want to expand it, but this is like the tryout, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
It's like, who's going to want to come to a sexy pizzeria? Like, I'm a man. Like, I don't want to be, like, in pizza Mama with chandeliers. You know what I mean? Well, it's cute. It's sassy.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's sassy. It's perfect. Can we try some pizza chips?
Alicia Carmody
Yes, let's do it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I need to try pizza chips.
Alicia Carmody
Big Will.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Big Will.
Alicia Carmody
And so Big Will didn't want to do the pizza chips either.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Who's Big Will?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, I call him Big Will.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh. Oh, I thought you were talking to Billy. Thank you, Billy. Are they in hearts? Are these hearts?
Alicia Carmody
No, they're little circles. So the thing with the pizza chips, it's like a little circle. It's light. It has, like, seasoning. Maybe, like, some parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, and. And this is the mama note. Cause I don't really cook.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Cooking rule. So this is if at you want to read it.
Alicia Carmody
Cooking rule. If at first you don't succeed, order pizza. Love, Mama. Xoxo. That's my Gossip Girl. You know the xoxo.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love gossip.
Alicia Carmody
The Internet. Had to throw that in there. Of course.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you love Gossip Girl?
Alicia Carmody
Of course I do.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What other shows do you watch?
Alicia Carmody
I love that show. What's that one? I just said it again off campus.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, right.
Alicia Carmody
I'm obsessed. I love that so much. The summer I turned pretty, I never
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
got into the summer I turned pretty.
Alicia Carmody
I'm dead now. I might not talk to you. Wait, why?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I don't know. I just could never do it. I tried. I could never do it.
Alicia Carmody
You got to, though, because I felt the same way. It was a start. It was a slow start. But then you start to, like, love them.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Who are you? Who did you want to end up with? Belly.
Alicia Carmody
What was the cute one that I liked? Jeremy.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you want. You were Team Jeremiah.
Alicia Carmody
I love Jeremiah. He loved her. He loved her so much. The other one was too in his emotions. He was like, I loved. I was the only one that liked Team Jeremiah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right? Right. Oh, my God. Okay, this is my first bite.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Perfect for the beach.
Alicia Carmody
Yes. Right? So good. Light, easy. I usually put them on a platter for appetizers. And when people come over with a charcuterie board with, like, mini spinach pies, little pizzas, it's just, like, a picky. You know what I mean?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
A picky.
Alicia Carmody
But you don't feel, like, sick. Like, picture being in the sun. You're not feeling like you have, like, a grinder. You know what I mean? You're having, like, something light just to do what it has to do. Like a grinder.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What's up?
Alicia Carmody
You don't know what a grinder is? I'm so excited.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I know the app.
Alicia Carmody
Can I teach you? Oh, it's not the app. You. An Italian grinder is so it's. It's like a sub. It's like a Italian loaf with, like, the prosciutto, and they can do the Italian dressing, the cheeses. Provolone cheese, salami with the peppers and.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, it's like a pro. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I didn't know that's what you guys called them here.
Alicia Carmody
What do you guys call them?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, in Italian?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, yeah, the Italian. We call me the Grinders.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. I love that. Have you. And what is your favorite thing about Rhode Island?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, there's so many, like, for food. So I like being close to everything.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
Because I don't drive. I also.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Neither do I, by the way.
Alicia Carmody
You don't.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That's something we share in common.
Alicia Carmody
Stop it right now.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I refuse. I can't.
Alicia Carmody
Do you drive, like, 10 minutes?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Nope. I don't even have my license.
Alicia Carmody
I love you. Where are you from originally?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
New York.
Alicia Carmody
That's why.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, and my dad was like, it's not happening for you.
Alicia Carmody
But why, though?
Billy
What did you feel?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I would hit someone.
Alicia Carmody
You did.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, I would.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I know you did.
Alicia Carmody
So we're like. We're supposed to be friends.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I know we're supposed to be friends.
Alicia Carmody
What sign are you?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you want to guess?
Alicia Carmody
I feel like a Leo.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, but I see how you would get there. I'm a Scorpio.
Alicia Carmody
A Scorpio. I love us.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What are you?
Alicia Carmody
I'm a sag. I'm right in the cuff.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, I love a sad. You're a sag, aren't you, Imani? Oh, you're a Virgo. Oh, my God.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, that's Billy's birthday. Billy's a sad.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love it here.
Alicia Carmody
We love sag. Yeah. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm like, brain down because of the Knicks last night.
Alicia Carmody
I'll go. That's okay. I get it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, it was. It was.
Alicia Carmody
Did they win?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did they win?
Alicia Carmody
No, did the Knicks win?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It was, like, the biggest comeback in sports history.
Alicia Carmody
Was it really?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, it was the first quarter, right? I'm like, oh, fuck, they're losing this guy. He was like, I promise you they're gonna win.
Alicia Carmody
Stop it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
He was like. He was like, serving drinks. He was like, I promise you. Mark my words, they're gonna win. And we're down, like, 30 points. I'm like, how are we gonna win? He said, they just need to start shooting threes. And they started shooting threes. I don't know what that really means. I think it's, like, from far away.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, a little bit further.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, a little bit further. Yeah. And they won. And it was like, I literally. Full body, chills all over. My tits were hard, like, everything. I was literally, like, on the floor screaming.
Alicia Carmody
The best feeling in the world.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Community.
Alicia Carmody
Right? And you feel the energy in the room, and everyone's so happy that it just gives you that boner.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What? Yeah. What team do you root for?
Alicia Carmody
So when I was younger, I don't really watch sports anymore, but I used to love Orlando Magic because I was obsessed with Shaquille o'. Neal. And he also was a rapper. Did you know that?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Shaquille o'.
Alicia Carmody
Neal, Shaq. I loved him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What, Rob?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, he used to rap. He used to have the kid. It was on a tape. There was tapes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
There wasn't cities, like, oh, a mixtape.
Alicia Carmody
No, it was like a tape. Like, there was, like, a cassette.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Cassette, yes.
Alicia Carmody
And A.B. and I. I used to love his music when I was younger, and I just thought he was so epic.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What music do you listen to today?
Alicia Carmody
I still love Rihanna.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Love Rihanna.
Alicia Carmody
I can't. Like, I. Britney. I love a Britney Spears.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Love Britney.
Alicia Carmody
I love Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Tina Turner. I have, like, a mix. Kanye, Drake, Nicki Minaj. I love them all.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What's your favorite Nicki Minaj song?
Alicia Carmody
A Moment like this.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, I see that for you.
Billy
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Because it just feel. Every time I listen to it, if I'm in a bad mood, I feel like.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Wait, do you mean moment for life?
Alicia Carmody
1000%. I never get anything right, by the way.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, it's perfect. It's charming.
Alicia Carmody
Moment for life is like. It just gives you life.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes, yes. Okay, what about. What's your favorite Britney Spears song?
Alicia Carmody
Hit me, baby, one more time. But when she came back and when she said, it's Britney, bitch. You know what I mean? Like, I liked that, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So Blackout Britney.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
I love that show.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Are you listening to any new artists today? Like, anyone, Any of the, like, younger pop girls.
Alicia Carmody
Panther is. Is that. I like Pink Panthers. I don't know if I said her name. I love.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You did.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I love her.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What song do you like?
Alicia Carmody
Well, with the one with Zara Larson. Yes, I like that. See, I'm not good at, like, the terms, but I just know that, like, when I hear what song. See, the Owen who does my social media, he'll put a song on, I'd be like, I love that. And that was pink print, that. What was the name of it? Seaside. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Is Owen gay?
Alicia Carmody
No. Owen's the most straightest man ever, actually.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Good for you.
Alicia Carmody
Sometimes it's, like, super funny, like, having him run my social media because, like, he's, like, super straight, you know? Like, I'll be like, oh, and you got to, like, you know, filter me a little bit. Like, it's okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right? Right.
Alicia Carmody
Like, I don't see it. I'm like, well, you should.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. Angel, Owen. Angel. Because you know what? You don't need to filter anything. You look. You look even better in real life. Thank you. No dead ass like you. You look better. You look amazing.
Alicia Carmody
Everyone always thought I was, like, six foot tall. I don't know why on tv, but I'm like five' one.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm short, too.
Alicia Carmody
How tall?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You want to guess?
Alicia Carmody
I'm so bad at this game. Five' four?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. Five' three.
Alicia Carmody
See, I'm good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
All right. I was a little good. I really lied. I'm good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Alicia, what are you therapist about today?
Alicia Carmody
Today, Billi had my daughter here without me knowing. And she wasn't dressed up. She looked like she was a ragged doll. And that stressed me me out because, like. Like, when she shows up here in front of my friends, I like when she's, like, clean. I don't like when her nails are dirty. I don't like her hair wasn't brushed. And that, like, gave me anxiety. Is that weird?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Isn't she five?
Alicia Carmody
No, she's nine. I go, what is she wearing? She didn't brush her hair.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, I know. My parents used to be on that. On me about that. I used to post videos online and I wouldn't brush my hair before. It's charming.
Alicia Carmody
It's just like, what a mom does. Like, that's what I'm supposed to do, you know? And it bothers me, but that's like, the mother of me, so she's lucky and you're welcome. Selena, if you hear this one day,
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
she will, you know, you're welcome.
Alicia Carmody
Because some others don't care, but I do.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Okay. Oh, hi.
Alicia Carmody
Hi.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God, is everyone just so obsessed with Pizza Mama?
Alicia Carmody
You know, they, they like it, and I'm happy. It's fun for them.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, Right. Okay. So that's what your therapist about. How has Billie been taking to the reception of the show?
Alicia Carmody
I think Billy's actually been better than me. I think that I was having more anxiety.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're having anxiety about it?
Alicia Carmody
I didn't have anxiety during filming, but I'm having anxiety like, like, you're what people are saying just, like, trying to keep up. Like, I'm like, oh, my God, I work now. Like, I was a hairstylist. No, but, like, it's a lot more work than people think it is. No, I can't keep up with calendars and dates and times, you know? So, like, he's more, like, helping me manage my life.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What do you mean? Like, what, like, do you miss, like, work? Like, life events?
Alicia Carmody
Like, I just, like, didn't. I had. I worked, like, two, three days a week before, and I love that I'm working now, and I love that I get to show that. But, like, I, I, I don't know how to manage my schedule yet.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You'll learn. Yeah, you'll learn. And, like, you know, I don't know how to manage my schedule either.
Alicia Carmody
See? All right. Well, yeah, it's hot.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's hard. You can't do it all well. You can't. You can't. You can't be funny, charming, and manage a schedule.
Alicia Carmody
That's why I say to him when he says to me, I don't know about money. I said, that's your problem. I'm the creator. That's not my problem. I told him, that's what you're for. You're a balanced team.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
Billy, you know what he does to me every morning? This is how I wake up and have coffee and he wants me to be in a good mood. I wake up, I can't see. I'm not a morning person. I'm like, so, Alicia, today we got to talk about the balances of what you've been spending. Do you want to wake up to that every morning? Almost every morning, yeah. You go, you're overspending. You. What have you been spending? There's a lot of ammo boxes. There's a lot of boxes that came in last night and I tried hiding them.
Billy
Announces to me and Selena, I'm awake. And that is the cue for Selena goes and grabs her cracker biscuits that she eats in the morning. And then I start her coffee. We make her coffee with cinnamon. And it's waiting for her.
Alicia Carmody
I do. I wake up.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You live like a princess.
Alicia Carmody
I, Well, I, I, I do. I am very fragile, so. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, but that's okay.
Alicia Carmody
I'm fragile.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You should be protected. Yes. You need to be protected. Okay. When Rosie and Kelsey were fighting.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Who did you agree with more?
Alicia Carmody
Rosie.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
I love Rosie. I also love Kelsey. So it's hard for me, but Rosie is, like, one of my closest friends.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What Kelsey did was kind of mean, right? It was. Who cares about the square footage?
Alicia Carmody
I would never. So my home is my safe place. Like, I would never want someone to make fun of that. And she was, like, showing her real home.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
You know, and it's under construction, so give the girl a minute.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
God. What else happened? This season overlooks affair.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, talk. Yeah. Whatever you want to ask, go for. Cause I got. Please.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Who was pushing the agenda of. Was it Jo Ellen? Mostly.
Alicia Carmody
Jo Ellen is like a detective.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Really. Has she always been like this?
Alicia Carmody
Like, I don't remember her always being like this, but she's so good, it's scary.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did she go out of her way to, like, find out that he was having an affair?
Alicia Carmody
I don't think she went out of her way at the beginning. I think that it was very, like, everyone knew about it, which I didn't, to be honest with you. That's the truth. But I think when, like, ruler was like, you know, this is line. This is AI Jones. Like, I am going to prove you wrong. This man is cheating. And so, you know, they still together? Very. They are so happily in love.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I mean, if it works for them, it works for them.
Alicia Carmody
Right?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. At the end of the day, like, my mom always told me not to get involved with other people's relationships. Sometimes you have to for tv, but.
Alicia Carmody
Right. And I feel the same way. If she's happy and she doesn't want to know anything, like, I'm just going to the beat of her drums.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But how, how awkward did you feel at that dinner, though, knowing that about
Alicia Carmody
the video, I liked Brian. To be honest with you guys, Brian is actually amazing. Besides the cheating part, like, he's fucking funny. The man is funny. Like, you cannot take that away from him. He is funny. Like, he's always saying something. You're like, oh, my God. Like, you know, so it was hot. And I also see him, like, he was a great dad to both of his children. And I seen him in, like, in his home taking care of Rula. So it was. Yeah, it was awkward. Cause I did. I do see a good side to him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
You know, I.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So the season finale is next week, which I have not seen yet. Does shit go down?
Manny
Of course.
Alicia Carmody
Always.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But, like, does it go down like, it went down at what's his face is Frank Sinatra night?
Alicia Carmody
No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay.
Alicia Carmody
No, not like that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But that was bad.
Alicia Carmody
So bad. And I like. And I. I gotta tell you, I love. I love Liz. And I think that's why I was, like, crying so hard. And I'm not used to crying, so that was, like, new to me, too. Like that. So I was like. I just wanted it to end. Like, I just wanted her to be like, you made your point. I don't even care anymore at this point, because what does it mean to, like, what does it matter what you think? I know what happens. You know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Exactly.
Alicia Carmody
What does it matter?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She not drop it.
Alicia Carmody
She wouldn't drop it. She wouldn't leave me alone about. That's why Jo Ellen was sticking up for me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
And she never left it alone, even after that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Are Liz and Joellen on good terms or.
Alicia Carmody
No, not really. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You guys are like my family. Every Monday, I sit down, I'm like. I text Imani, and I like, yes, you don't understand. And I. And I had a gut feeling. I said, I know this is going to be good. I know this is going to be good. They've all known each other since they were kids. Like, I know this is going to be good. Every Monday, you on my screen, Dinner. It is the best ritual of all time. It's the best show ever.
Alicia Carmody
Really?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes.
Alicia Carmody
Is it? Because I think that we all, like, really, like, showed our truth.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, who said that? You said your truth. You said, like, how you grew up, like, how you feel. You're like. You showed your life. That's what reality television is about, right? You know, it's reality.
Alicia Carmody
And I really did hate Billy in that minute, by the way, when I did flip out of him or whatever, I said something, but I love him, too, so.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
That, like, in relationships, what I felt like with my thing, what helped us is that, you know, no one has a perfect relationship, and you just gotta work through it if it's, like, strong enough or if it's worth it, you know? And I liked doing that with him. It helped us.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Was Billy, like, initially apprehensive about doing the show?
Alicia Carmody
Well, he was like, why would you want to put your daughter on tv? Why would you want to? Like, people can judge you. I obviously don't say a lot of the right words. A lot. I mess up a lot. And if you do that for a mistake, the world might hate you, you know? And it's a mistake. So that part's scary, you know, because I don't always say the right thing, but I don't mean it intentionally. It's just a mistake, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Were you. Was there anything specific that you said that you were, like, worried was going to be taken the wrong way when you said it?
Alicia Carmody
I ran over a woman. Yes. I was like, oh, the world is going to be like, it's over. But I.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Can you tell me about that?
Alicia Carmody
She jumped in front of my car.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay.
Alicia Carmody
And I was with my best friends, and we came from. I think I. I was driving, so. And she dove in front of my car, and I hit her, and she cracked my windshield. And she got up and proceeded to run away. And I said, no, you can't, because I was thinking you could have a brain injury, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God, I would love a grinder. You guys make that here?
Alicia Carmody
But he wanted the hot honey.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. I'll do both. Oh, my God. This. Oh, my God. Alicia, I love you. You feel family to me.
Alicia Carmody
I know. I love food.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love food, too. Okay, what do you. I gotta try the hot honey, right?
Alicia Carmody
I gotta try the hot honey.
Billy
Oh.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God.
Alicia Carmody
The Italian grinder is my favorite food when I'm drinking. I don't know why. When I'm really. If I have, like, three drinks, I'm like, right for that. It's the bread. It's a dressing, but that's. That's epic.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're lying.
Alicia Carmody
No, it's not.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What?
Alicia Carmody
That's so good. Do you like that? So there's a cheese crust around it. It's light and airy. Does anyone. Is anyone from Detroit over here? I never had Detroit until. No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. Wait, I'm like. Actually,
Alicia Carmody
yeah. It's so good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I don't love pizza.
Alicia Carmody
You don't like pizza?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Not really.
Manny
What?
Alicia Carmody
What do you eat? Sushi. Am I good? I'm so psychic.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
By the way, FYI, I eat, like, sushi. Thai.
Manny
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
I knew it when you said you like pizza.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I like pasta, though.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah? Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. I can't stop eating. I'm like, my fat ass is just gonna be munching to the mic the whole time.
Alicia Carmody
That's how I get. If you're at my house, I want you to eat. You know, whether we have Greek food, food or the Italian. Eat wine drink.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You like Greek Food. I love Greek food.
Alicia Carmody
Well, Billy's Greek. Oh, so he owns a lot of Greek restaurants.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, I didn't know that. Round two. We got to go to the Greek Grill. Well, only if you have a steak in it.
Manny
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
So that's his mother's and his dad.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, shit.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, that's all right. They don't care. But I, you know, you never know. But I, like. I never really liked Greek food until I met him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. When did you guys meet? How'd you guys meet?
Alicia Carmody
He stalked me. What? He was. He was persistent. I wasn't into him. And then. Yeah. No, but then I felt I like a stalker.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Really?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. I like someone. I think I'm very shy. That, like, if you have to fucking beat me down and be like, I want you. I want you. Then I'm like, I fucking love you. Then I'm a lifetimer.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Then I'm not going.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Kind of similar in terms of relationships, like, romantic relationships. Like, you need to be like, I want you. We're doing this. Or else I'll just be stubborn.
Billy
Yes.
Alicia Carmody
Because it's like, something I don't. Maybe it's my answer. I don't know what it is. But he had to lock it down.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Probably. Probably. Anxiety.
Alicia Carmody
Anxiety.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love how open you are about your anxiety. Do you think, like, when you go to bed, like, are you anxious every night?
Alicia Carmody
No. When I wake up, I'm anxious.
Billy
God.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
At nighttime is when you're free.
Alicia Carmody
I'm so tired. I want to watch a show.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You guys, do you hear that rumbling? It's getting closer. It's getting closer. It's here. Happy Prime Day, everyone. Prime Day is finally here. And Prime Day is now from June 23rd through 26th. And strike. What? You know what they say, Strike while the iron's hot. Right? Okay. Prime Day is the day to shop online. So that thing you've been putting off, you can be like, well, I can justify it because it's Prime Day, for example. You guys know I've been wanting a new tablet, and I've been putting it off. But Prime Day left me no excuses, and now I have a new tablet to binge watch all my television when I travel or when I'm laying in bed. And it just makes my life so much easier. I can't believe it took me so long. But I'm happy that prime do is the reason that I ended up getting it. So everyone run to your carts and don't miss this shop. Prime Day deals. Now. Alicia Carmody
I'm dead when you tell me that. I get so excited. Why don't you jump in jacks or something?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I literally DM you being like, I. I need you in my life. Like, I need to start texting you. Can we start texting?
Alicia Carmody
Yes, please. I love to text.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you play, like, the wordle? Who?
Alicia Carmody
Alberto?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Never mind. Do you watch Tick Tocks?
Alicia Carmody
I'm trying.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Are you a real person?
Alicia Carmody
I do like voice mamas. I don't like no technology. I do like voice notes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. Okay.
Alicia Carmody
That's what I'm good at.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right, right. I need to take a bite of this grinder.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do I just eat it as is?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, you put it together and you just chop at it. Very Italian.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What the.
Manny
Yeah. So good.
Alicia Carmody
Yes, of course. We have salads. We have desserts. We have a Nutella pizza.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, I'm not even. You can tell when I'm lying. Like, this food is insane.
Alicia Carmody
It's cute. It's good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
This is. Italians made this food.
Alicia Carmody
They did.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, Billy's Greek, so.
Alicia Carmody
Well. Yeah, but so the pot of Greece that he's from is, like, right next to the pot of Italy that I'm from. So it's wild. So it's like a boat right away.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you guys ever go?
Alicia Carmody
Yes, yes. Degrees. Yes, please. God, it's the worst. It's the biggest fight. We broke up about it many times. Yeah. He's obsessed with going on vacation to Greece he's obsessed. It's like, oh, I have to hear about it every single holiday. Every time I'm happy, every time I'm sad, every family event. We have to talk about Greece.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, what do you. Okay, give me an example.
Alicia Carmody
Do you know anyone Greek? Wait, I'm like. We actually went to couples therapy about Greece.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Wait, give me. Give me an example. Give you example. We're talking. We're talking. We're talking. Hi. Hi.
Alicia Carmody
Billy, you know. You know I got to go to Greece this summer, right? Well, Billy, I can't. I'm filming a show. I got to go to Greece. This is what I did all summer long. And my father, my brother, you know, we had to go to Greece. My daughter needs to speak Greek, and my daughter needs to go. It's, like, all day. It could be Christmas. But in Greece, like, it's like, Greece, it's like you're. Yes, it is. It's all you do. And then he blasts Greeks. Muse, like, Greek music in the car, and you. He smacks the windshield, and it's Max, this. And it's just like, that's what Greeks do. And I get mortified, and it's not hot, and you know it, Billy. And my daughter gets so ashamed. She does.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So you don't like Greece?
Alicia Carmody
I like it. Like, I'm so happy. I got to, like, do it and go. I don't need to go every summer.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're not a vacation person, are you?
Alicia Carmody
I love vacation.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you are. I thought you like staying at home.
Alicia Carmody
I love being home, too, though. Okay, so I get FOMO when I'm not home.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. I get fomo, too. Like, all my friends are in Monaco right now. I kind of have fomo.
Alicia Carmody
But, like, you didn't go to Monaco?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I went, but then I left.
Alicia Carmody
But aren't you happy to go and be like, I want.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But you know what? I got to leave. And I said. I literally said. I was like, you know what? Like, trust the higher power.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And then I went to the Knicks, and I saw the biggest comeback in
Alicia Carmody
sports history, and it's like, thank you.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, it's literally like, thank you.
Alicia Carmody
Because you don't need to be everywhere. You could just be close to home and have that experience.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Exactly. Exactly.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What's the best concert you've ever been to?
Alicia Carmody
It's Britney.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You saw Britney?
Manny
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Which tour?
Alicia Carmody
When she was in the circus tour.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you saw good.
Alicia Carmody
And you know who else is really good? Beyonce. Well, that's Beyonce.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's. What tour? Did you see a Beyonce Halo.
Alicia Carmody
Right. When Michael Jackson.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You saw the Sasha Fierce.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, no. Right. When Michael Jackson died, she sang that song Halo. And I remember just crying my eyes out because she was so beautiful on stage. She was like an angel.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Uh huh.
Alicia Carmody
You know, and you can feel things. You know how you like you might meet your favorite sub and you might like, I've always loved them. But then you see them, you're like, you ain't shit.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Or whatever. You don't. You know what I mean? And then you meet someone like that you already thought and they're like just glowing. That's how they both watch.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
We were talking about Beyonce on the ride over today. We said she just glides.
Alicia Carmody
She was like an angel. I was like, she is like, like I felt it like, you know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, right.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, do you want to get into the tell me what's wrongs.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, I love it. Tell me what's wrong.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
This is where you give advice.
Alicia Carmody
Okay, Tom, I give you advice.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, you give the advice.
Alicia Carmody
Okay, let's go.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love another bite of my grinder because it is that good.
Alicia Carmody
My drink.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Summer is all about spontaneity and what is more spontaneous than a summer Friday turned into weekend extravaganza? You could go for a simple after work mocktail or cocktail with a friend and it could turn into an entire weekend trip. Chances are you'll be having a Venmo balance this summer because you will either be paying for something, your friend will be paying for something and you'll need to pay them back and they will need to pay you back. My favorite way to spend whatever Venmo balance I may accrue over the summer is via the Venmo debit card because it is the simplest way for me to spend that balance. You could also add it to your digital wallet so you could tap to pay and it really for me, takes the anxiety out. I find solace in the fact that there doesn't need to be an extra step into getting the money into my bank account because I can already use it on the Venmo debit card. So there isn't like lost money or money like kind of in purgatory. Also, when you use Venmo at checkout or use your Venmo debit card, you can earn always on cash back with Venmo stash rewards and it all leads back to a summer Friday because a simple outing can either end there or it can go for the entire weekend. But regardless, the chances of you using Venmo are high. Whether that be user one paying or you're the one paying someone back. The Venmo MasterCard is issued by the Bancorp Bank n a Venmo Stash bundle. Terms and exclusions apply. Max a hundred dollars cash back per month. See terms at Venmo Me Stash. Venmo checkout not available at all merchants. Thank you again Venmo, for sponsoring tonight's episode. And go enjoy that summer Friday. Thank you seatgeek, for sponsoring tonight's episode. So not only is Madison going on tour, so is Ariana Grande. So is Charlie xcx. Everyone is going on tour again, it feels like. And the best place to get tickets for these tours is on SeatGeek. Also, the World cup is in the US this summer. To get tickets to the World cup, you can do it on Sea Geek. Like, they provide ticketing for any live event. Comedy, sports, music, Broadway, anything. You can get your tickets on SeatGeek. When you go to the site and buy a ticket, you will know that the seat is good. And they have a rating system from 1 to 10. 1 being not the best, 10 being the best. You know, if you're like getting a good deal, you can also use code therapist for 10% off your order. And if you click the link in the description and download the app, it automatically applies the code therapist for 10% off your order. But we are seeing Ariana this week. We are so excited. I would like to make it to a world cup game. As we all know, Nicks and five, the Knicks just won. I'm a basketball fan. So when basketball season comes around again, you can get tickets on SeatGeek. Like, they really are just the best place to get tickets for any event that you. Any live event that you would like to go to. Once again, you can use code therapist for 10 off. And if you click the link in the description and download the app, it automatically applies the code. Thank you again SE for sponsoring tonight's episode. Any burning questions from the Rhode island fan?
Alicia Carmody
Are you hungry? Well, of course I'm hungry, but I feel like you need to, like, go
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
to Greece with Angie K. I.
Alicia Carmody
So I feel like she'll change your life about how you feel about Greece. Don't go to Italy either. I love Italy, but I like a city fair, so I like. I love Rome, I love Paris, I love London. But Greece, it's. I love Greece so much. No. And I do. I just. I'm so happy I went. I feel like we can have a special of you and Angie K. Like going to Greece and her changing your mind.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Have you met Angie K. I did
Alicia Carmody
meet Angie K. I met her at the girls trip. The ultimate girls trip.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You did ultimate girls trip?
Alicia Carmody
What did I do? Did I do that? I forgot what I did. It was like the old cast.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
The Bravo rep is shaking.
Alicia Carmody
I. Wait, what did I. Very calm. I think it was. It was like the one that all the girls got together. They were traveling, and so it was like the grand finale, and Angie K. Was there, and I was like, oh, my God, I have to go up too, because you're Greek and Billy loves being Greek. We hear about it all day long. And you do love Greece. You guys just went. And she was like, I love Greece. And she was beautiful and so gorgeous.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Gorgeous. High body count, hair.
Alicia Carmody
Not on her. No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you watch any other housewife shows?
Alicia Carmody
I used to love the old jersey. I haven't watched a new one. I was obsessed with.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
People are saying that you guys are giving old jersey.
Alicia Carmody
That gives me life. Because that's why I used to watch it. It reminded me of my family.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
My aunt. So I felt like I was like, in my kitchen or my dining room table sitting with them. And I also love Utah Salt Lake.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Love for sure.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Was Kelsey's boyfriend or old ex boyfriend. The one that paid for everything.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, how did she get him to agree to filming in the house? I heard that maybe that wasn't his house.
Alicia Carmody
So I don't know. Me and her never talked about that. So that's the true story. I swear to God, I've never asked. And I just kind of let her do her thing.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. And what's up with Rosie at the news station?
Alicia Carmody
She was the best newscast girl. Everyone thought she was so hot.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Wait, but so what? Was it a thing in Rhode island, though, at the time? Like, oh, Rosie's doing the news.
Alicia Carmody
I didn't watch the news then, so. Is that what you're talking about? I never watched the news. Yeah, didn't watch the news, so I didn't know who she was. Is that. Is that what you mean?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, I thought, like, was she, like the talk of the town, that she was the news anchor?
Alicia Carmody
My. Yeah, I think what's, like, what she will say for Rosie. Yeah. My stepdad thought she was beautiful. Like the older crowd.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes, Got it. And then why did she leave the job?
Alicia Carmody
She had colitis and she was bleeding through her ass, which I almost died. I said, oh, my God, girl, you are so real. I'd rather die than say that on tv. But that's why I love Rosie.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But then didn't Kelsey say she lost the job because of an affair.
Alicia Carmody
That's not true.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Not true.
Alicia Carmody
That's so not.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, not true.
Alicia Carmody
No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay.
Alicia Carmody
That's false. And I think that's why Rosie has such a hard time with her.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, right. Because she's like, you're making shit. Why don't they get along? What do you think it is?
Alicia Carmody
All right, so I think that Rosie's not originally from Rhode island. And so, like, we know, like, the people that are from Rhode Island. We know the whole background story of everyone. Like, I know Kelsey. I know everything about her. So, like, the fact that we didn't know who Rosie was in her background story, and we were just going off of rumors, and I think that's what it was.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Mean girl. A little.
Alicia Carmody
It was more like a mean girl. But yet she was like, I don't know your background story and I'm trying to figure you out.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, but you had Rosie's back.
Alicia Carmody
But Kelsey's actually sweet. She seems sweet, but to her and Rosie, they. They aren't sweet to get like, they're not good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Was the reunion. Did things get nasty?
Alicia Carmody
They're just that they're always going to be like, you know, you know, But I see Kelsey in a different light. But Rosie's obviously. I'm very close to Rosie.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Real honest answer. What goes through your mind when Ashley cries?
Alicia Carmody
Like, good feet. I don't. I'm. I'm like, waiting for it. I feel like it's like, you know, it's like oxygen to, like, breathing. It's like, okay, is it time? If she doesn't cry, I'm offended. She cries. I'm a little offended. But if she doesn't cry, I'm offended. Yeah, Yeah, I want her to cry. That's who she is.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, love that.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Have you been to Ashley's restaurant?
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, you've been. You went for trivia night. That I know, right? But did you eat there?
Alicia Carmody
It's good. It's good. It's great. Billy loves it. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Billy.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. Yeah, he loves it. It's cute. It's. It's a vibe.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. As a restaurant owner, you think it's gonna stay open?
Billy
Yeah, I think so.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, yeah, I think.
Billy
Especially now.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right. Especially now.
Billy
Like, he's. He's vested.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What is in this wine? Oh, I finished the thing.
Alicia Carmody
Let's have one. That's what's going right away.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Every poor me but the only way out is through Huh.
Alicia Carmody
I know. That's why you got to keep going.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. Obsessed with your.
Alicia Carmody
Keep going. I always called it the hair of a dragon, but I guess it was a hair of a dog.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And it's some. This summer is like giving. Oh, thank you, Billy.
Alicia Carmody
Do you want. Do you guys want pizza?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes, they do have them have. They're starving. Everyone's starving.
Alicia Carmody
Let's eat.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Let's eat.
Alicia Carmody
Pizza for everyone.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, my God. I. I can just tell that you have such a good soul.
Alicia Carmody
I do. No, I am very real, but I 1000% too.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You do. Like, you, like, you have so much love to give and it's such a joy to see on my television.
Alicia Carmody
So I feel like I've been through a lot.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
And I also. Animals love me, babies love me, and I. I was a hairstylist my whole life. I've talked to women and men about their problems.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Okay.
Alicia Carmody
So I just like, I empathize with people. Like, I feel things. Some people can just, like, move on. I feel like people's.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're an empath.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. And I understand it. And that's why I was like a flip flop at the beginning because, like, I don't want to judge people.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I didn't think you were a flip flop. I actually didn't think you were a flip flop. I thought you were just trying to say, see every. I was every side.
Alicia Carmody
Thank you for the.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, no, but I really did. I was like, Jo Ellen flip flop. Because she.
Alicia Carmody
She is. She's the one that gave me the name Love Jo Ellen Joe Melon.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Love her, love her down. But she is a flip flop. But you, you're not. To be a flip flop, you have to be calculated. And you're just genuinely trying to understand everyone's pov.
Alicia Carmody
I wish I was more calculated to be on the show. I have no time. I'm 80 day. I can't even do homework. I can't. I can't balance a schedule.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What homework?
Alicia Carmody
I just, like, can't do any. Like, I have homework. Like, if I, like, for the. Like for the business of this. But I wish. I envy that about Joe. Ellen, wait.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What? Like, what would like, homework? Like, what would homework look like?
Alicia Carmody
Like, for, like, just like, certain things. Like, we have to do this. You have to do this. Like, I don't like homework. I don't. I don't like my daughter's homework. I get overwhelmed. Once she comes home, she ask you for help. I'm not good. So she goes to him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Now, do you help?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I don't do the homework no more. I'm not good at it. So, Right. Not my thing.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She likes school. Selena loves, loves, love.
Alicia Carmody
She's a. So she's my. She's my daughter.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She's social. What was high school like for you in Rhode Island? What was it like? Like what? Like, would you go to Friday night football games?
Alicia Carmody
Like, so you're going to skip me, but I'm going to be honest with you. I was very popular. No, I really was.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, were. You had. Had queen bee.
Alicia Carmody
I was just like. But like, in a genuine way. I was friends with everybody. I wasn't just friends with the popular girls. I was friends with like, like everybody. I was love all. I loved all groups, but I was like, I would have to hide. So like, if I went to the market. Right. And I also have a very big family in Rhode Island.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right.
Alicia Carmody
So in high school, like, I couldn't get a. I couldn't smoke a cigarette, put it this way. Because I would get caught. I couldn't cut classes, I would get caught. Everyone was always trying to protect me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So you've always been famous?
Alicia Carmody
Like when I was young. Billy, what happens when I hide from people? Tell them I hide.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What do you mean you hide?
Alicia Carmody
Like, so, like we'd be at Garden City, I'd be like, oh God. Like and not. And I love people, but I also. You need your downtime.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You need your downtime.
Alicia Carmody
So, yeah, like people. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
When did the doll obsession begin?
Alicia Carmody
I've always loved dolls.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Uh huh.
Alicia Carmody
When I. If a doll's hair was out of place, I would smash it and throw it. As a kid, I think I had ocd, but no one knew about it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I have ocd.
Alicia Carmody
I think I do. Chill.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
How does it manifest for you?
Alicia Carmody
Not well. Not well, bitch. No, it's bad. And it's the point where, like, I don't let my daughter play with her dolls as much upstairs. But now she is. I'm getting better. My house, my blanket. Like it? Like today when I told you my daughter came here and she did. Ever hear like, I have. I like things. I don't know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
I don't know. I can't explain it. I like things groomed.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. Yes.
Alicia Carmody
You know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, so these are the tell me what's wrongs we give the pussies advice.
Alicia Carmody
Okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. My wedding is next summer and my fiance and I. Oh my God, you're going to hate this one. Are going to Greece.
Alicia Carmody
Okay. Why?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
For two weeks. For their honeymoon. Oh. I kind of love the chaos.
Alicia Carmody
The past.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
We have had this plan for months. One of my really close friends just Said she wants to have her wedding a week after mine. I told her I'd be on my honeymoon and wouldn't be able to go to her wedding. And she said, yeah, like, I don't give a fuck. Vibes. What should I do? I'm really sad about it, but don't wanna seem selfish for being upset.
Alicia Carmody
Okay, so it's a week away. She told her about it. And her friend, she more mad that her friend's more like, no, I don't give a fuck.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, that's what she's upset about.
Alicia Carmody
All right, So I would be like, you know what? I'm so sorry. I would still give my peace so I could sleep at night and then also just enjoy your wedding and let her focus on hers and let them let you, girl. You know what I mean?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. Because that's. You have to say a piece or if it's going to eat you up in life, like, it will eat you up alive.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Even if it's not right.
Alicia Carmody
Right.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Like, even if it's not right. Like, you feel how you feel.
Alicia Carmody
You feel how you feel. And if you don't feel right and you're like, I don't like the way this landed. I still want to tell you I'm really upset. I can't go. But I need you. I don't want to. I want you to enjoy your wedding. I'm going to enjoy mine.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you think she should tell her I'm upset that you don't seem to care?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I would be like, oh, my God. How are you not saying sad girl? Like, I feel like we're besties. I want to be there. I want you to be there. Like, it bothers me, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Maybe her friend doesn't know how to be emotional right now. Maybe she's just, like, caught up.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, Right. And by the way, I just would, like, oh, Nolan, tell me what you think. Are you not. Oh, I. We need to see that. We need to see their reactions.
Alicia Carmody
I'm so excited. Oh, my God.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, I. Bitch, I told you.
Billy
That is so incredible.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I. It's, like, actually insane. Insane. Insane. Like, you have a chicken bacon ranch. Used to be my favorite in college.
Alicia Carmody
Got me through life. Where'd you go? I went to school in Ohio.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Really small school in Ohio.
Alicia Carmody
Okay. Because that's, like. That's one of his. Okay.
Manny
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And this is insane.
Alicia Carmody
Yes. That's, like, the number one seller. Like, when I was drunk, this would say yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Girl, I really want you to know that you have a mama needs to
Alicia Carmody
Come to New York.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, it's. So you gotta go for the. You gotta go for the experience. I mean, I want success for you. So I do want it in New York. You should do a pop up. Do a pop up. Do a pop up, Please.
Alicia Carmody
I would do a pop up. I want to do like a bigger restaurant with a bar. Like a cute bar. You know what I mean? Like, I want to do it like cute.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What would you call it?
Alicia Carmody
Pizza Mama. Oh.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you want to do like a bigger pizza.
Alicia Carmody
This was like the. This was like the express store. It was like the tryout. Because he didn't trust me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
You know what I mean?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, Billy, do you trust her now?
Alicia Carmody
Look at what they say.
Billy
I trust her ideas.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay, good answer.
Billy
But I really do. Like, she. She gets it in a way that I don't and don't see it. But when like to run the business. We'll leave that on my side of things. No, but that's why it's a good team. Like, she sees. I never. I thought this was crazy. And it. People love it.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. And it's this big.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Good food, good people. That's all that matters.
Billy
This was supposed to be a quick thing, get it up and running. You know, it was a little different than what we usually do. And we were. I was just going to sell it like it was going to be a quick flipper. And she didn't like the name, so.
Alicia Carmody
Business. We're so not alike.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. No, but that's right. Why you can't be so alike. Or else that's not.
Alicia Carmody
No, I know, but see, your story is like a history teacher. I feel like it's like very history.
Billy
She makes me laugh. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you just laugh all day with her?
Alicia Carmody
Most of the time he does. And then I get mad and he laughs. I said, all right. I wasn't even being funny. I think you are a history teacher, though.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You like history. What's your favorite historical event?
Billy
My favorite historical event? I mean, I love the story about the Peloponnesian War.
Alicia Carmody
So boring. So not my type.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What?
Alicia Carmody
No, it doesn't matter.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I don't like it.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I don't either. He tells me history. I said, I can't be bothered.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I also can't be bothered, but I
Alicia Carmody
actually, some of it I do.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm good at improv. I used to do improvisation.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And I would like, improvise historical skits.
Alicia Carmody
Yes. Like Romeo and Juliet.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yes.
Alicia Carmody
1,000.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Romeo and Juliet.
Alicia Carmody
Is that history? It should be. If it isn't, is that poetry? Is that English? I don't know. Whatever.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You think Romeo and Juliet actually happened?
Alicia Carmody
I wish it did. It didn't.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's Shakespeare.
Alicia Carmody
He's a poet. But that's still, like. I feel like it had to happen in history.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
He's like, is he a poet? I feel now I'm like, is he.
Alicia Carmody
I don't know. Billy. That's what I was going.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Billy, is Shakespeare a poet, or is he just a. Right. Like a storyteller? Yeah, you're right. I knew you were right. I knew you were right.
Alicia Carmody
All right, we don't need to get into the details. It's Quick Quest.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
My boyfriend will not stop sending me Instagram Reels. Like, one out of the 20 of them are funny or interesting. And it's becoming an ick that he's scrolling so much. I think. I think he may be a little down in the dumps, though, so I don't want to pile this on top. How do I be gentle about it, or should I just ignore it?
Alicia Carmody
I would ignore it. Billy does it to me all the time. I just. I actually feel bad when Billy does it. I'm like, oh, he must miss me. He's. Maybe it's like a card that he should have sent me or. Yeah, no, I just. I just, like. No. I don't even answer them. I put him on silent.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You have Billy on. You have him on silent?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. What is it called when you just do not disturb?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, I get it.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. I don't answer them. He says we have thousands. I get you, girl.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Does your daughter have a cell phone?
Alicia Carmody
No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Good.
Alicia Carmody
IPad.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Good. Okay.
Alicia Carmody
On restriction.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Good. I didn't have a cell phone till I was 12, 13, and I needed it to, like, go and, like, do stuff.
Alicia Carmody
I don't believe in it, like, too young.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, I completely agree. And she's gonna be a better person for it, by the way.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I agree.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. I. It's. Kids are getting them way too young these days.
Alicia Carmody
It's like a drug for people. It's a drug for me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's a drug for me.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
When I get. Do a post and I get likes. I'm literally, like. It feels like I just worked out.
Alicia Carmody
It's. Isn't that crazy?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's a literal drug. I feel like we're the guinea pigs for, like, that experience. You know what I mean?
Alicia Carmody
I miss. I miss, like, other stuff, you know? Like, I. I hate that I go through my phone. I didn't know how to use my phone before I started for the show, by the way. I Didn't even know how. I didn't even how to use Instagram. I don't know how to take a picture. Nothing.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, now you have Owen.
Alicia Carmody
But now I'm. Yes. And I have Owen. That helps me so much. But I hate that I rely on people. Like, did I look good to see on Instagram?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You always look good.
Alicia Carmody
You know, you always look good, but it's still hot. It's like, I never relied on that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you feel like, is it weird perceiving yourself? Like, watch or watching others perceive you? Is that weird?
Alicia Carmody
It's weird because it's like, I don't ever want to stop talking about crackers. That's who I am. I eat them all the time, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But people love that people responded.
Alicia Carmody
Loud people would be like, oh, she's a subtopical cracker. But I don't realize I'm talking about. It's just my nervous. It helps me. It's like instead of doing drugs, I do crackers.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. You know? Would you ever just, like, not read the comments or do you not read or just log off?
Alicia Carmody
I've been getting better.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I think you just need to log off and be you.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
And then good things will come. Because they are. Yeah, because you are her.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I want to. I don't want to read the comments anymore. They take my phone. I almost fistful. I tack.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Really this week. Good friends, by the way. Good friends.
Alicia Carmody
I literally tackled her. I was like, no, show me what she said about me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, I'm lucky you have them. I have a money here. She calls me and she's like, did you see what they said about you?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, no. But guess what? Sometimes it's like, you know, ignorance is bliss, and I've lived that way my whole life. So I think is if you. If I want to stay the same, I think I have to, like, block out the noise.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right, right. I'm in law school and hate all of my peers. They're snobby, preppy, know it all assholes who dress bad and are probably going to be sleazy lawyers. It sounds whatever, but it's genuinely making me rethink my career path and want to drop out. I want to do good things with this life. So how do I not let them win?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, my God, girl. Like, who cares who they are? Be you shine and your light will be so bright. Let them lose. Let them be the sleazy lawyers that they are. And you do you stay true to who you are.
Billy
Done.
Alicia Carmody
And people will love that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You give really Good advice.
Alicia Carmody
I don't.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you really? I think you do.
Alicia Carmody
Well, I was a hairstylist. I did it for years.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh. What's the craziest story you heard when you were a hairstyle? What's the craziest one?
Alicia Carmody
You don't even know who slept with whose husband. They were switching and swapping and they both didn't think that they knew it, but I knew about it because they knew, but they weren't. It was a nightmare. No, it was a lot. I've always heard stories and I. That's why I loved my job, because I loved. I love listening to people.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
When did you stop being a hairstylist?
Alicia Carmody
Like maybe two months before the show started. Okay. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Would you ever go back or you own time?
Alicia Carmody
No, I'm done. Been there, done that. I did it since I was like 16, so.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
But now Kelsey is hair stylist.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Is she booking clients?
Alicia Carmody
I don't know. I don't know. She. I don't know. She. I think she might do weddings, but she's not like a. I don't know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Is her act still paying for everything?
Alicia Carmody
I don't. I don't think so. I hope. I don't know.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did you know her friend?
Alicia Carmody
I ran into him a few times.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Was he hot?
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, he was like a good looking. Like he was a catch back in the day for sure.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, like, did you go to high school with him?
Alicia Carmody
No, no, he was just like, you know, I just think that when you have that much money, you have like aura to you.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I kind of agree.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. And that's what he had.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You know, it's like big dick energy.
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Bde bd. Bd. My partner is an actor and just landed a role in something. The issue is, while I'm super happy for him because of how competitive it is out there, he told me there are multiple sex scenes. He plays like the fuckboy. I'm sure it's all professional and good and I haven't said anything about it, but it does genuinely bother me and we've never talked about that or really thought about it, but now I'm uncomfortable. I want to support him and I will, but how do I get over this?
Alicia Carmody
In the meantime, go out with your friends and take hot pictures with all different single people.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I kind of agree. It's like that's his job too.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like you knew he's an actor. Like you knew what you were signing up for.
Alicia Carmody
But that is tricky. I wouldn't have killed Billy, but I would be out every night of the week in my best outfits, working out, taking care of myself, so no bitch can compete.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh. I haven't been able to work out in weeks because my wrist hurts so bad.
Alicia Carmody
What happened to your wrist?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Tendonitis.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, why? How?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I was doing pull ups.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, no.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I can do 12 in a row.
Alicia Carmody
You're so cute. I love you. I could even do one.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I couldn't do one. And then you start doing them, and you start doing it with a resistance band. And then you just work your way up and you get there. But my wrist, look how swollen.
Alicia Carmody
You gotta wrap it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I know. I've been wrapping it. I got acupuncture. I fell asleep at the acupuncturist. I fell asleep. There was like a heater over me, was burning my head. The whole thing knocked over.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, no.
Manny
Wow.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Are you kidding?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Swear. And he. I kept it and he gave me, like, a little button to press for help, and the button fell out when I fell asleep. So I was screaming, help.
Alicia Carmody
That place is scary.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No, I mean, he clearly knew what he was doing. He put the last needle in and I was out.
Alicia Carmody
Okay, good.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
No. Oh, my God. I'm going back tomorrow. I'm kind of hooked.
Alicia Carmody
All right, good. There you go. See? I love it. It's a party.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. We'll go together next time you're in New York. You'll love it. Yeah, I have a really hard time becoming friends with my other friends. Friends, if that makes sense. So, like. Yeah, I get that.
Alicia Carmody
I get it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like, I have my group, and when we party, they introduce me to all these people, and I swear I turn into a brick wall. Like, honestly, I just don't care. And I'm worried they think I'm rude for it. Do you think there's a balance between pleasant and honest, or do I just need to be fake?
Alicia Carmody
Fake it until you make it. Have a drink. Loosen up. And don't think about it too much, because when you think about it too much, you turn into a stone wall. Just have fun, right? Vibe. You might have something in common, you know?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Just start. So drink.
Alicia Carmody
Have a drink. Like a half. Even if you don't drink, have, like a few sips. Everyone's friends after a few sips.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That. That is very true. When did you first start? Like, when what? How old were you when you had your first drink?
Alicia Carmody
I think I was, like, 16, 17. You know, I was like. I was like, a very good girl. And I was. I had, like, a few, like, sips and I was wasted. I'm still, like, A very much of a lightweight.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right. Okay. Got it.
Alicia Carmody
Which I love.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I mean, it's the best thing in the entire world.
Alicia Carmody
But I get hangovers very easily.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do lightweight. Do lightweights get hangovers more than heavyweights?
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay.
Alicia Carmody
Because it sucks when people can, like, drink all night and then go out and work out the next day. When I'm in bed and they had 10 drinks, I had two, and I'm, like, in bed. Like, that pisses me off.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. What's your hangovers look like?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, I'm terrible. I do the eye patches. Billy. Billy. You know Billy. I can't get it, but yeah, Billy, Billy. Peppermint oil, Tylenol, liquid IV and tv.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Ever get an iv or do you not like needles?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, I love an iv.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love an iv. We are so similar.
Alicia Carmody
I love an iv, but I wish they came to my house when I had a hangover. I'm not driving.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
They can come to your house.
Alicia Carmody
I don't have a place that comes to my house here.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
This is prime opportunity for any IV person to go to Alicia's house and give her an iv, Please.
Alicia Carmody
And I also get tired all the time. I'm a fragile flower.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Energy.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Please help her.
Alicia Carmody
Yes, help me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
She can't drive.
Alicia Carmody
I'm tired. I fragile. I get weak. Seriously.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
My roommates got a second cat without asking me. I was already generous with the first one, and they're like, a couple, so my friend's boyfriend already had one when he moved in, but they came home the other day saying they found it on the street and decided to help it. Very sweet of them, but they got attached and want to keep it. I'm going to kill myself. Please. What should I do?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, my God. See, I love animals. Wrong question. Just, you know, you might, like, play with a cat.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Peter, what's your favorite animal?
Alicia Carmody
I love a dog. I love a pig. I love a horse.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Love a fag.
Alicia Carmody
I love a fig.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I just made that up.
Manny
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
On Cameo just now.
Alicia Carmody
That's what just happened. Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Wait, did you. Do you do that on purpose just now, or did. No.
Alicia Carmody
I literally love a dog. I love Cameo. But, you know, I love all. I love all animals.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You know, your cameo sounds have gone viral.
Alicia Carmody
I had to get off, which I'm so sad about.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Bravo. Bravo. Said enough.
Alicia Carmody
No, it was just, like, getting to. I felt like I was trying to please everybody, and I couldn't get them all out, and it was taking up too much of my day, and I was getting headaches, so I was like, I need a Break.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You know what you do? You bring them back for, like, one day, and one day only during Christmas, the holiday season, when people are feeling sad.
Alicia Carmody
But I love them. I feel like it helps me.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So why don't you just do Owen much? Oh, and can you help her get back on Cameo? Yeah, let's do it.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. It was too much, though. I was, like, wasting my day looking at my. My phone.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You need to have someone make the camp. You need to make the Cameo. Put the phone away. Watch tv.
Manny
Yes.
Alicia Carmody
Yes. Yeah. So what a day? Maybe one a day, A week.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So I've been completely in love with one of my closest friends for a while, and she is giving such mixed signals. She's always dating or talking to some random guy, but she keeps telling me that she would much rather be dating a girl. She drunkenly. She drunkenly pulled me aside at a bar to kiss me one night, but claims it was just silly fun. She's actually so evil. How do I move forward to something better?
Alicia Carmody
Go make out with another girl right in front of her and see how jealous she gets. If she doesn't get jealous, doesn't give a shit.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
Hello. Right.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. Like, give great advice.
Alicia Carmody
Oh. Because I've been there, done that with this all.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. By the way, I've been really annoyed lately when people tell me I'm a really nice person. Growing up, I always thought it was a compliment, and I wanted to be known that way. But recently, as I navigate the back half of my 20s, I'm realizing I just might be coming across as a pushover, and I have no backbone. I will always be a good friend and person to the. To the people I love, but I don't want to be a doormat. What's your advice? To change my narrative.
Alicia Carmody
First of all, being nice. There's nothing wrong with being nice.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That's what I think, too.
Alicia Carmody
You know what I mean? And if people have a problem with that, like, that's their problem. Let them go hang out with all the devils and the assholes and then see where they're gonna always want to go. Back to the nice person.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right.
Alicia Carmody
So they didn't live enough.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Exactly.
Alicia Carmody
Tell them that's they didn't live enough.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Is Dolores gonna be filming more next season or no?
Alicia Carmody
I don't know. I hope so. I do like her.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Do you know she could. How long have you known Dolores?
Alicia Carmody
I only met her when she started filming with us.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay.
Alicia Carmody
But I watched the show, and she was always one of my favorite housewives.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah. Yeah. She was on New Jersey, right? Yes.
Alicia Carmody
And I love Jersey.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
So I was a big Salt Lake, Beverly Hills, and I just got kind of got through, like, a few seasons of New York.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, I never watched New York. I need to.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's great. Yeah, Scary island is great, but it's just, I think, at the time. Do you know what I'm talking about? Scary island now. Okay, so they all went on a girls trip. Like, Bethany Frankel and them and, like, Kelly, Ben, Simone, like, like, went to, like, psychosis.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, really?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, like, really? Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
All right. I gotta watch this Scary Island.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, but it's like, for now, like, that's the. An episode of Rhode island, you know, like. But now it's like, at the time, it was so major. Am I explaining this right? Yeah.
Alicia Carmody
I need to watch Scary Island.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did you ever watch Bad Girls Club?
Alicia Carmody
No.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
America's Next Top Model?
Alicia Carmody
No. A little bit. I watched it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Okay. Okay. Those were. Those were my reality shows back in the day for you.
Manny
Okay.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Car troubles. Car troubles. Follow me like a damn shadow I cannot catch a break where it's almost like every other month something is wrong with my car. I'm convinced that I have, like, actual voodoo bad luck. I know you can't help with that, but what are ways I can keep my cool? I always lose it every time something like this happens, and I'm tired.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, my God, girl. I feel you, girl. Oh, boy. I feel you. I get it. Especially with your car. You're like, I'm so tired. It's so much money I'm putting. It's like a money pit. You want to know what? Just keep going. It'll come back and move on. Just like, let it go.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
What do you mean?
Alicia Carmody
Just keep going. Let the car fucking run itself into the ground.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, so push it down, Push it
Alicia Carmody
down and let it keep going until it all explodes. Something's gonna come good out of it, you know, There'll be a good. A good part of it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Did that ever happen where you push something down and then something good happens?
Alicia Carmody
Yes. It's crazy. That's why I said that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Like what?
Alicia Carmody
Just, like, so many accidents and this and that, and then all of a sudden, it's like a good thing happens and you're like, you know what? This is why I went through hell. It's wild. I know that's crazy. Crazy. But, like, literally, it happens. It happens.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love the way you live life.
Alicia Carmody
I'm trying to live.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
You're living.
Alicia Carmody
I'm living.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Have you ever been to Vegas?
Alicia Carmody
Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I would love to go to Vegas.
Alicia Carmody
I love Vegas.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
How long can you stay there, though?
Alicia Carmody
Three days. For days. I love to shop and I like the shows, you know, I love it.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love the shop. I love to shop. Yeah, shopping's the best. Retail therapy is real.
Alicia Carmody
That's real.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It's real.
Alicia Carmody
That's really.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
That's real to me.
Alicia Carmody
Me too.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, it is. Hey, Jake. This girl that lives in the door across from ours keeps asking to get ready and go to parties and events with me and my best friend. We are barely friends with her, but I feel so bad saying no. It honestly impacts our environment every time because it's awkward and we have to make a lot of conversation. So you're meeting a new person. How do we solve this without being mean to her? You don't. You just hang out with this, like,
Alicia Carmody
go, leave the room and never let her see you. I would take off.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, you wouldn't hang out with her?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, was she like.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
They're like. I feel bad. She. This girl clearly doesn't have many friends.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, this. Just go. Go for an hour, then take off to the bathroom. You don't feel good, but go.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, right. Like, it probably makes her day.
Alicia Carmody
Go. Yes.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
My boyfriend was blacked out on a night out and literally got arrested for assaulting an officer. This is so incredibly out of character for him as he pretty much never drinks. He handled it well and paid his own bail. Good. Well, I'm glad we've been together almost a year. Is this a red flag or a one off incident?
Alicia Carmody
Oh, I mean, I would consider it a red flag, but give him another try. You never know. Red flag, though, to assault an officer. What do you think? That's a big deal.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Probably. Probably. But maybe he was just drunk.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just keep the alcohol away from him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, maybe he's bad with alcohol.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Well, Alicia, what did we learn today?
Alicia Carmody
I learned so much about different people, but I also learned that you've never had a grinder. You didn't know what a grinder was. You got to have a pizza chip.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm about to house this the second we're done.
Alicia Carmody
And I think you're so incredible, and I'm so happy that you love the Housewives of Rhode Island.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
It is the best show on television. If you haven't seen it, watch it.
Alicia Carmody
I won't watch it. So that's why.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Right, right. Good. You shouldn't. Well, you probably actually should.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah, right.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Because for the reunion, don't you have to, like, prep?
Alicia Carmody
Yes. Yeah, I had to do that.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. You sat right next to Andy, though. I saw.
Alicia Carmody
I did. I like Andy.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love Andy. He's awesome.
Alicia Carmody
I was, like, so nervous when I first met him. I was like, oh, my God. Like, I was like starstruck. And then I was like, he's so, so nice. I loved him.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Yeah, he's awesome.
Alicia Carmody
Yeah. Bye. I love you all. Thank you for being a.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I have to call someone. I have to call Manny.
Alicia Carmody
Who's Manny?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
FaceTime. Manny. Is this about.
Alicia Carmody
Is this about. Where are you? Why aren't you here? Why aren't you here?
Manny
Hi.
Alicia Carmody
We have pizza, chips. My grandma is visiting.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I'm literally on my way to go get her lunch.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, my God. You're so cute. I love that you love your grandma. You're so cute.
Manny
I love my grandma, but I also love you.
Alicia Carmody
I'll meet you one time. We have to meet.
Manny
No.
Alicia Carmody
What kind of dog? Oh.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Why are you talking to my dog?
Alicia Carmody
I love drugs. No, you don't know what I am like with dogs. I'll go to. I will die. What kind of dog? I'm so sorry.
Billy
It's okay.
Manny
It was a Chihuahua. Italian greyhound, Dude.
Alicia Carmody
That's my dog.
Manny
Wolfie.
Alicia Carmody
Why are you doing this, Billy? A Chihuahua. That's my dog. I am so sorry. I live for that dog. Don't do this to me, Wolfie. What was your dog's name? I'm so sorry. How old?
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Youth.
Manny
Lenny.
Alicia Carmody
Oh, 15 is a good age, though. I have feel help. Okay.
Manny
He was 16.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Oh, 16. So we lived a good life. Okay, Manny. Well, we love you, Manny.
Alicia Carmody
We love you. Sorry about that dog.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
I love you both. Love you, Manny.
Alicia Carmody
Thank you so much.
Host (possibly Manny or co-host)
Bye.

Guest: Alicia Carmody (Real Housewives of Rhode Island)
Location: Pizza Mama, Rhode Island
This lively, heartfelt episode puts Real Housewives of Rhode Island star Alicia Carmody on the "therapuss" couch with Jake and friends at her family’s pizzeria, Pizza Mama. The open, often hilarious conversation dives into Alicia’s Housewife journey, RHORI drama, personal growth, family, anxiety, favorite foods, and audience advice. The dialogue balances pop-culture gab, emotional truths, and plenty of pizza-fueled banter, all in Jake’s signature mix of earnestness and tongue-in-cheek humor.

“Say your piece or it will eat you up alive. Even if it’s not right, you feel how you feel.” (42:57)
“If people have a problem with that, like, that's their problem. Let them go hang out with all the devils and the assholes and then see where they're gonna always want to go. Back to the nice person.” (56:38)
“In the meantime, go out with your friends and take hot pictures... so no bitch can compete.” (51:28)
“Beyoncé… she was so beautiful on stage. She was like an angel. You could feel things.” (30:15)
