Jimmy
Welcome back to another midweek Boys Only around and Getting Sick with Jimmy and Larry after a Live from Paris podcast with my favorite Wayan Sage Nation.
Larry
Live from the motherfucking dungeon.
Jimmy
Live from the other conference room.
Larry
I think the other one.
Jimmy
B. Everything's better.
Larry
A is definitely superior. There's. Well, it's more space and better lighting
Jimmy
and the lighting's pretty trash. But the AC is better in there.
Larry
It was on before the guy. What are the. The. Oh my God. My brain's friend. What is the name of the person who works at the front desk at a hotel Receptionist?
Jimmy
Reception.
Larry
No, what's is though? Like there's a maitre d style term for that person. Concierge. The concierge. That's not the concierge was nice enough to prep the room for us because I walked in here and it was like, oh, the AC hasn't been on this room for 24 to 48 hours.
Jimmy
Shout out my guy Masai, who's very French but has an Australian pin on his that the top?
Larry
Is that the man bun guy?
Narrator/Advertiser
Yeah.
Larry
Okay. Yeah, that guy rocks. Great hospitality here in Perry.
Jimmy
Let's get into a fit check real quick.
Larry
Okay. I am wearing bally boat shoes.
Jimmy
You found some clothes to wear. Is. Did you borrow this polo from Jacob Gallagher?
Larry
No, he copied me. I had it first.
Jimmy
Okay.
Larry
But okay, it wasn't like that to clarify, obviously hamming it up for IG and because the outfit was so ridiculous. But I have things that are, like, for vacation, like, part of, like, not like, looks, but, like, this is supposed to be classic black polo from Stussy Fit Check. Whatever. There it is. I wanted to wear this with a suit. Specifically.
Jimmy
You differentiated your polos between fashion week polos and vacation polos.
Larry
Yeah, because I, I, they're gonna, they're torched. Like, they need, like, the ones I wore here need to be washed.
Jimmy
No, no, I know, but, like, but you like when you're packing for this trip. Yeah, because you had vacation in Paris
Larry
fashion week, and well, I have two black ones, right. And I'm like, okay, if I need a black one in Paris, whatever. But I definitely want one on vacation for a look that's in my mind. Jenna gives me a dress code every night that I follow to a T. So there is, for example, there's a high end dressy. There's casual there. So you know that. No, there's more. I mean, do you want me to look? I can get them here. You want. You guys want to know? It is. They're also, like, you know how we always complain about dress codes that are amorphous and make. No.
Jimmy
Did she give you dress codes for Paris?
Larry
No, no, no. This is just for vacation because she makes all the reservations.
Jimmy
Okay, here we go. Yeah. Okay. All right.
Larry
Hold on. Sorry, I'm trying to find the share note. Okay.
Jimmy
Is this normal way in? If this is normal, even in the comments. If this is normal.
Larry
Okay. All right.
Jimmy
It's cute.
Larry
All right. You want me to go through all the dinners and then you can make what you want. This. Okay, Dinner. One Chic, but not too dressy. Chic. Nice. Nice, but not at all dressy.
Jimmy
Nice, but not Chicago.
Larry
Chic is richest. Chill dinner. Fit dressing. Nice Chill dinner. So this was going to be part of. I mean, you could throw a fucking dart at the board at this point, but this would have been chic. Nice.
Jimmy
But have your. Has your whole plan been blown to smithereens because you've now had to dip into the vacation portion of the suitcase to accommodate having sweat through every.
Larry
Yeah. Wearing two outfits a day. To your point. Yes, for everything. But ironically, the nicest dinners. Because those are what the suits are for. Sure, that's what the suits are for.
Jimmy
How many suits you bring?
Larry
3. Some on them all new, some on them all that I haven't worn yet.
Jimmy
Is that the nicest? Richest.
Larry
No. But because my old. My First Amal suit is the worm Poop is the nicest, richest suit. And then I have a. A vintage linen pinstripe Armani suit that I have not worn since you and I went to your first and only Pitti two years ago.
Jimmy
Oh, when you're called calling paparazzi on yourself, bro.
Larry
Sure. Yes, you were. There's a lot. There's gonna be a lot of he said, he said on this pod. I can already tell this Muji shirt story. I would have to clarify.
Jimmy
Okay. No, I'm excited.
Larry
Okay. Okay. The socks are Shiro. The cargoes are vintage Abercrombie. The presumably Sage nation approved hat is society archive. The sunglasses are sun buddies. TF the Larry.
Jimmy
They're out.
Larry
Yeah.
Jimmy
Right now. Maybe.
Larry
Yeah.
Jimmy
We don't know when this.
Larry
Well, we don't know, but they're the only sunglasses that are going to be touching this handsome face. And the underwear are supreme Hanes and I think that's everything. What about you, Jim?
Jimmy
The fisherman mules are hear you here you hear you here you hear you or hear you? I don't know. They're Spanish. They got so expensive in the last few years. I bought these a few years ago. They are now so freaking expensive.
Larry
To your credit. I hear a. I hear you a lot about them. But where. Where did we hear you first? On the only podcast that matters.
Jimmy
So I guess fisherman sandals are like back after like a three year trend cycle.
Larry
Like weird leather strappy ones. It's either that or flip flops. That happened.
Jimmy
Guys, it was a mistake the first time and now we're making the same mistake three years later.
Larry
Are you shocked at how flip flops carried over and are going even harder? Like on the Runway on, like, fashion people. We're going to shows. I'm seeing so many flip flops.
Jimmy
Yeah, but I think that's just a function of like, literally people being like, I can't wear socks. Okay, I'm going to because everyone's going to on vacation out this. I'm going to dip into the vacation portion of the suitcase for Paris Fashion Week.
Larry
I'm not doing that because I have my Havanas. I would never d to wear those out in public. No, no.
Jimmy
The pants are Giorgio Armani Arquio. The T shirt is Jean Etika. Actually, no, it's pronounced Generica.
Larry
No way. Generica.
Jimmy
Yeah.
Larry
Wow. Dude. Okay, that good to know because we've been saying it wrong for two years.
Jimmy
It's like, because I was chilling. Jesse Hudnut. Oh, I was supposed to go to the showroom and pick up some ringer tees. God damn it. Not gonna have time.
Larry
Do you need them for the trip? I guess you still have a couple. I'll pick.
Jimmy
I'll pick.
Larry
I'll.
Jimmy
I'll wear anything.
Larry
Okay.
Jimmy
I just need anything. I wear a garbage bag.
Larry
Oh, you know the best Johnny Rotten. The best ringer tea. I didn't see this in person. I don't. Did you go to the Lee showroom?
Jimmy
The what?
Larry
Lee.
Jimmy
Yeah. Did you see eye? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Larry
There, there's a mint tea with just the like a red ring on the neck.
Jimmy
I didn't see that.
Larry
Oh, tea of the year, dude. I'm gonna need one of those. Perfect color combo.
Jimmy
Zane Shout out. Jason.
Larry
Yeah.
Jimmy
Generica T Xeno watch. Star of the week.
Larry
What's the amount? Honestly, it's getting so annoying and I
Jimmy
can see how annoyed you are. Dude, I'm trying to. I'm trying to downplay.
Larry
No, no, no, no.
Jimmy
Because I'. My, my friend's annoyed.
Larry
No, no.
Jimmy
See my friend's Rolex.
Larry
What about me? No, it's not. It's just like cuz I. You call your own shot with it. This. You knew. It's like you knew it was going to happen begrudgingly or not. And I literally. It's every conversation. It's insane.
Jimmy
It's a hit. Hit.
Larry
He's got a hit on the wrist.
Jimmy
Got a hit on the wrist. Ol Bracelet Haynes boxers. I'm running danger. Oh, well, dangerously low on the Hanes boxers I usually bring. Like, you know, you pack as if you're going to shit your pants every day. And I was like, yeah, yeah, I'm going to pack like that. Dangerously close.
Larry
I had Jenna bring more. Wow. I mean it's nice to have. It's nice to have you a bitch fly in with more underwear.
Jimmy
You know I flew my bitch out with some undies.
Larry
Yeah. Rick Ross.
Jimmy
Oh, Noah Johnson had to buy some extra box from Ruby Rosa.
Larry
Just like that's a ridiculous spend for like Lucy's. Though I will say I've done this before when I was delayed in Paris last time I was here. Something that I don't know if this is a proper vacation tip, but it is nice to like walk into a uniqlo and be like, I need underwear, I need socks and to just get freshies and to pop seals for like your extra days. It is pretty. So I don't know if you have time or if it's worth it, but I don't mind that.
Jimmy
I think I'll be good. I'VE I've set aside one pair, and I'm like, for the. I cannot home. For the fight home. These have to remain untouched. Yeah, you have to remain.
Larry
It's not even break in case of emergency. You will be free balling before you wear those.
Jimmy
No, these are like. These are like. I need to put them in, like, a lead case.
Date: July 15, 2026
Hosts: Jimmy and Larry
Recorded: Live from Paris Fashion Week (after a live event, in a Paris hotel conference room)
In this boys-only “midweek” Throwing Fits episode, Jimmy and Larry catch up in Paris during Fashion Week, providing a characteristically irreverent window into their lives as self-proclaimed “grown dirtbags.” As they decompress after their Paris live show, they riff on hotel hospitality, their ever-evolving vacation wardrobe logistics, packing woes, the cyclical nature of menswear (flip-flops vs. fisherman sandals), and the challenges of maintaining clean underwear on the road. The episode is marked by their signature self-deprecating humor and inside-joke-laden banter, aiming to entertain and inform their fashion-savvy audience.
The episode exemplifies the Throwing Fits tone: playful, irreverent, detail-obsessed, and self-aware. Jimmy and Larry toggle between practical travel advice (like buying backup socks at Uniqlo) and inside-baseball menswear jokes (fussing about ringer tee colorways). The "fit check" section, anxiety about spending and overpacking, and the running gag about "hit on the wrist" watches all serve as relatable, humorous nods to the collective anxieties and in-jokes of the fashion community. Fans tuning in get both laughs and surprisingly practical nuggets about how to think about style, travel, and packing for high-pressure fashion events.
Useful for listeners and non-listeners alike: This episode is a snapshot of the unfiltered, self-deprecating camaraderie that defines Throwing Fits—equal parts style diary, friend group groupchat, and knowing fashion-world send-up.
