There are only two kinds of people in the worldthose who trust Jesus and those who reject Him. Today, in Mark 7, we’ll see examples of both groups of these people. Today in Mark 5, witness three outstanding miracles of Jesus over the demonic realm, death, and an uncurable disease. These three miracles left some witnesses with no room for objection: Jesus is God.

We all love a good story. Jesus used stories called parables to teach spiritual truth to those who hungered and thirsted after righteousness. While unbelievers just thought He was nothing more than a good storyteller, many lives were changed by the gospel truths found in the parables.

Welcome to the book of Mark. Don’t blink, or you’ll miss something good. The key word in Mark is immediately. Jesus was a busy guy. He ministered to people constantly and immediately, pouring out love and compassion at every turn He took.
