Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.
During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.
Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 3 (8.12) Not to toot his own trumpet, but tonight’s Timmy show has been an absolute barnburner — potential AG Michael Gates, House Whisperer Dean Sharp, and comic icon Jay Leno all dropping in. Ding-dong! Plus the epic Powerball draw. The $1 billion jackpot numbers are in: 26, 67, 69, 66, 4 and the Powerball is 9. Your odds of winning are about the same as an aircraft carrier landing on your house in the San Fernando Valley. In Fullerton, a massive four-alarm fire forced first responders to battle flames while wearing 100 pounds of gear in this sticky SoCal heatwave. Hollywood was rocked again as Nick Reiner was indicted for the December killings of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, with prosecutors alleging he was lying in wait. Remember the tiger-blood era? Timmy digs up that classic Charlie Sheen “Winning” song for a blast from the past. Meanwhile, British racer Andy Green just set a new hydrogen-powered land speed record of 406 mph on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. Atta boy! And in Hemet, a family discovered they’d been unknowingly sharing their home with a secret house guest. Spooky stuff! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 4 (8.12) Timmy’s studio is pure comedy royalty tonight with Zoe Friedman and Amber J. Lawson — co-founders of Comedy Gives Back, the real safety net that catches stand-up comics when life gets rough. They’re gearing up for next week’s annual 818 Benefit: Brody Stevens Festival of Friendship Show at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood, raising serious money for comedians in crisis. Zoe’s dad was the late great Budd Friedman, the godfather of modern comedy clubs who founded The Improv (now 23 locations), discovered Adam Sandler, and managed Jay Leno. Speaking of which… who’s that calling in? The duo breaks down how medical insurance and SAG-AFTRA work for comics living paycheck to paycheck, and how their nonprofit steps in for mental health and financial help. Both were close to the late Brody Stevens, the larger-than-life 818 comic from Reseda, which is why this benefit hits so close to home. Rounding out the hour, KFI’s House Whisperer Dean Sharp drops by to plug his brand-new website housewhisperer.design — the digital front door where he and partner Tina help turn ordinary houses into extraordinary homes. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 1 (8.11) It’s Tuesday on the Conway show. Tim muses on the passing of Jackie the eagle and mourns with the rest of southern California. All those mornings waking up with Jackie have passed on – will another eagle claim her nest? Universal Studios is building a new sound barrier after Toluca Lake residents complained. So when Boyle Heights burns and its residents suffer, the city drags its feet. But when wealthy Toluca Lake residents complain, the city steps right in to assist. What’s going on here?! One Columbian restaurant in Van Nuys is rallying to help victims of the 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Columbia. Columbia continues to pick up the pieces after its devastating earthquake. Among the damage is a center for deaf and blind children. Also, a revelation breaks about Trump taking a secret plane from a trip out of Turkey after a NATO summit amidst alleged assassination threats out of Iran. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 2 (8.11) Legendary psychic Jerome Bernard is back in the studio with Tim — and the phone lines are unhinged. Jerome opens up about the old days and how he first discovered his gift, then throws the doors open to listeners. All he needs is your birthday. What he does with it is the part nobody sees coming. A caller looking for financial guidance. A woman who says she's a psychic herself — and wants to compare notes. A mother grieving her son, asking how to carry it. A listener buried under a run of bad luck, hoping Jerome can tell her when it breaks. And of course, Tim jumps in with his own predictions. For better or worse. Skeptic or believer, you're going to want to hear this one. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 1 (8.5) Timmy opens with grim news out of San Bernardino County: A deputy was shot while serving a search warrant east of Palmdale after a shootout. The update comes quickly — the officer is stable and expected to pull through, while the suspect who fired the shots is dead. Meanwhile, the man arrested at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles with a gun and a pocketful of bullets, Marine veteran Jeanine John Taele, is under further investigation after police searched his Downey home. In a separate security scare, a commercial jet took off from Ronald Reagan National Airport yesterday while President Trump was airborne in Marine One — a clear violation of the long-standing rule that freezes all flights at the airport just 3.5 miles from the White House during presidential helicopter movements. And in a much lighter moment, Timmy ties the stalker’s unusual first name to Johnny Cash’s “A Boy Named Sue,” then shares a classic story from his limo-driving days: he once picked Cash up at LAX, drove him to a festival in the Antelope Valley, and spent three days chauffeuring the Man in Black, who insisted on riding shotgun because he “wasn’t that kind of celebrity.” At the end of the gig, Cash handed Timmy a golden ticket. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 2 (8.5) LAUSD kids head back to school next week on August 12, officially ending summer for a lot of families. Speaking of summer, public pools are still open, but how clean are they really? Chlorine is not Purell, so showering before you swim actually matters. Cryptosporidium can survive in pool water for up to 10 days, and cyclospora isn’t just hanging out on your shredded lettuce anymore. In Memphis, Fox 13 anchor Dominique Dillon (a mom of two) had a full “Sleeping Beauty” moment when she nodded off on live TV during the morning broadcast. Closer to home, we go live to a joint press conference with LA County Sheriff Robert Luna and San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus for updates on the Antelope Valley deputy shooting. The deputy, a man in his 30s, was hit just below the ribcage but is stable and expected to make a full recovery. On the fast-food front, Chipotle is dealing with a jalapeño recall that may be tied to a salmonella outbreak. And Timmy shares a classic airport emergency: he was so desperate at Burbank Airport that he accidentally charged straight into the women’s restroom. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 3 (8.5) The Carolina Panthers and Make-A-Wish just made six-year-old Asher Harvey’s dream come true. The little boy, who lives with congenital heart failure and has already had three open-heart surgeries, gets to be quarterback for a day. You have to wonder if the defensive line got a quiet “take it easy on the kid” talk. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $786 million — still a better gamble than a diarrhea-laced public pool. Timmy drops some practical tips for parents staring down the average $600 back-to-school supply bill and shares smarter ways to keep costs down. McDonald’s claims it’s struggling even while its stock keeps climbing. On the diamond, the Dodgers landed left-hander Tarik Skubal, one of the best pitchers in baseball, and Bob Costas weighs in on why the Dodgers are not “ruining” the game with their big moves. And in Boyle Heights the nightmare continues: residents are still suffering from the putrid, rodent-infested fallout of the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire, and today’s public hearing made it clear that neither politicians nor the property owners are doing nearly enough about the stench. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 4 (8.5) Whenever President Trump lifts off in Marine One for Andrews Air Force Base, the skies around Ronald Reagan National Airport — just 3.5 miles away — are supposed to go completely quiet. No takeoffs, no landings. That rule was broken yesterday when a commercial jet blasted off while the president’s helicopter was still in the air, creating a serious near-miss that violated long-standing security protocol. The alleged Trump stalker arrested with a gun and bullets at Trump National Golf Club has an unusual first name — Jeanine — which immediately sent Timmy into Johnny Cash mode and “A Boy Named Sue.” That led to a classic Conway story: Back in his limo-driving days, Timmy once picked Cash up at LAX to drive him to a music festival in Antelope Valley where he was the main draw, spent three days chauffeuring him around greater LA, and watched the Man in Black insist on riding shotgun because he wasn’t that kind of celebrity. At the end of the gig, Cash handed him a golden ticket. Meanwhile, public pools are still open, but chlorine is not Purell. Cryptosporidium can live in the water for up to 10 days, and cyclospora isn’t just on your shredded lettuce anymore — so shower first and maybe keep your mouth closed. Chipotle is dealing with a jalapeño recall that may be tied to a salmonella outbreak, and Timmy admits he was so desperate at Burbank Airport that he accidentally charged into the women’s restroom. Nature did not care about the signs on the door. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 1 (8.4) Big morning, big energy. President Trump touches down at his Rancho Palos Verdes golf course for an RNC fundraiser before jetting to Vegas tonight — Angel Martinez has every road closure you need to survive the commute. Then a public service announcement that might save your bank account: think twice before logging onto that hotel or airport WiFi. Plus, thieves hit Urban Pet in the Fairfax district. Conway floats joining the Democratic Socialists for one reason and one reason only: to cancel Thanksgiving. No stuffing, no small talk, no sitting up straight at a 40-person table while the game's on in the other room. Relatable? Unhinged? You decide. Then the story everyone's talking about — Crystal View in Tujunga. Seven cul-de-sacs. Roughly 100 homes. At least seven break-ins in the past month. One LAPD cruiser assigned at a time. An officer told us this is "typically" a San Fernando Valley problem — so why is it here now? Residents are on edge and want answers. We close it out with Walker Hayes bringing "Fancy Like" to Morongo, and the latest out of Spokane, where 37-year-old Aaron Farinacci was arrested Monday in connection with the Old Trails Fire — the largest of three major fires burning in the area. Traffic. True crime. Turkey-day treason. Let's go. The Tim Conway Jr Show Hour 2 (8.4) Seven months of ash, and now a ribbon cutting. ✂️Palisades Village is coming back. Rick Caruso's $100 million interior rebuild — plus environmental cleanup and a full renovation after the January 2025 Palisades Fire — wraps with an official reopening Saturday, August 15. Seventy percent of the businesses are returning, restaurants included. For a neighborhood that lost so much, this one actually feels like a milestone. 🏗️Then the other side of the coin: Marmalade Café at Calabasas Commons is closing after 28 years. Twenty-eight. If you had a birthday brunch, a first date, or a Sunday standing order there, this one stings. 🍋Over to Michigan, where four states held primaries and one race is pulling the whole Democratic Party apart in public. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, progressive former public health official, versus Rep. Haley Stevens, the centrist with party leadership behind her — bitter, expensive, and locked in a dead heat as votes are tallied. The winner defends retiring Sen. Gary Peters' seat in a battleground state that could decide control of the Senate. We break down why a Michigan primary matters everywhere. 🗳️Plus, LA Councilwoman Ysabel Jurado unveils a legislative package aimed at helping Boyle Heights recover from the Lineage warehouse fire.Rebuilds, goodbyes, and a race too close to call.
