I love this time of year. Holy Week is a special time to be a believer in Jesus Christ. We have hope in an increasingly troubled world because Jesus died and is alive forevermore. One of the most discussed issues every Easter is what year and what day Jesus died. I believe Jesus was crucified on Friday, April 3, AD 33—and remarkably, Good Friday 2026 falls on the exact same date. This is the 1,993rd anniversary of His death and resurrection, which means in 2033—just seven years from now—we’ll reach the 2,000th anniversary of the Cross, the Resurrection, the Ascension, and the birth of the Church. Some have speculated this could mean the Rapture happens this year. I don’t set dates, but this year would be fine with me.

In the second half, we examine Revelation 20:7–10 and what I call “the second coming of Satan”—his release from the Abyss after the thousand-year reign of Christ, his final rebellion, and his ultimate defeat.
