Yvette
Hi.
Corinne
What's going on?
Rasha
This is two Girls, One Ghost.
Corinne
Two girls, One Ghost. And we are your ghostesses, Corinne and Sabrina. And today we are joined by some really cool, exciting guests, Rasha and Eyvette of so Supernatural, the podcast.
Rasha
We are obsessed with them.
Corinne
The love that you will see us experience while recording this episode. I cried. I cry.
Rasha
They're just the best, nicest humans and they've just gone through so much and. But they're so positive and they're so in tune with, like, the spirit world and just so empathetic. And we love them. They deserve to be haunted by the best.
Corinne
Yes. And that is what we do in this episode is talk about some pretty positive hauntings. We did do a collab with them. So we have an episode on the so Supernatural feed that also comes out today, June 13th, which is also Friday the 13th, which I think is amazing. And we talk about the Demon of Brownsville Road, which is a haunting, scary tale. So if you want something scary, go check out that episode. And then this episode is more of just a conversation about the paranormal. And we play a couple games.
Rasha
We lighten the mood after a terrifying tale on so Supernatural and we review.
Corinne
Some paranormal evidence in this episode. So enjoy. Check out both episodes and let us know what you think and tell us what you hear in these evps and what you see in the photos.
Rasha
Very spooky.
Corinne
Hi. Aloha.
Yvette
Aloha, y' all.
Rasha
Hi.
Yvette
Bonjourno.
Rasha
Hi. It's nice to see you guys again.
Corinne
Yes.
Sabrina
It's always amazing to see you.
Corinne
We talked about a really spooky topic on your episode, so we wanted to have a little bit more casual conversation. And we have some games planned for you.
Sabrina
Love it.
Corinne
Most importantly, want to get to the meat of it, which is one, do you two believe in the paranormal?
Yvette
100%. Yes.
Sabrina
I was going to say a hundred million percent. Okay, good.
Rasha
It'd be kind of fun to have a podcast called so Supernatural that you host and not know them.
Sabrina
All.
Corinne
Right.
Yvette
For sure.
Corinne
Especially Rasha. Like, you live in Hawaii?
Sabrina
Well, born and raised.
Corinne
Do you live there now, Rasha?
Rasha
No.
Sabrina
No. I know people always think that. I think it's because I always know, use so many Hawaiian words. But I live with my wife and daughter just outside of Portland, Oregon.
Corinne
Okay.
Sabrina
But born and raised. That's home. Always go back.
Corinne
So we need to talk about what was that like? And because Hawaii has so many beliefs and, like, the night marchers and just different legends from Hawaii. Have you experienced any?
Rasha
What.
Corinne
What are ones that, like, people don't really know about that you really believe in?
Sabrina
So I have always immersed myself in the Hawaiian culture. I'm not lucky enough to have Hawaiian blood, but I am lucky enough that I was born and raised there. But I always have embraced Hawaiian culture, including all of the lore and the legends, and I believe all of them. I'm so obsessed with Madame Pele, the goddess of fire. I've always been obsessed with the night marchers. And I loved your episode on the night marchers. For me, personally, I think so. Madame Pele comes in different forms. Sometimes she comes as a beautiful Hawaiian goddess, and other times she comes in the form of what's called a tutu or tutu Pele in a grandma form. So she's normally wearing, like, this long white dress and has beautiful silver hair. And one of the last homes or the last home I lived in with my dad and stepmom because my sister and I, Yvette and I have, you know, different dads. And I was always 50. 50, half the time with my mom and Yvette, and half the time with my dad and stepmom. And in the last home we lived in with my dad and stepmom, my father was convinced that Tutu Pele haunted our house.
Corinne
No way.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Rasha
Wait, why? Why? Why did he think that?
Sabrina
He said he would see her in the shower a lot. He told me this. I do have to preface this with he did a lot of pakalolo.
Corinne
But in the shower is a. Yeah.
Sabrina
I don't think he was doing pakalolo in the shower.
Yvette
But.
Sabrina
But he would always say that he would see her. And I always kind of felt a protection from her there. And I've been very open. I experienced a lot of abuse from my dad. Verbal, emotional, physical. And so in that home, none of that ever happened. And I truly think he was afraid of tutupele.
Corinne
Oh, that's amazing.
Sabrina
It's so amazing. It's so amazing. And so a few times he would even see that there were little footprints. And there's this other mythical legend which I also believe in, called menehunes. And they're these small Hawaiian warriors or Hawaiian people who again, you know, no one has ever physically seen in modern day times. But most of Hawaiians, or what we're considered is Kamaina, means we come from the land. Even though we are not Kanaka Maoli. We don't have Hawaiian land.
Yvette
We don't have that running through our blood. Yes.
Sabrina
Yeah. My dad would see all these little menehune footprints in one of the bedrooms. So he was convinced that Tutu Pele was there and the menehunes were there. So I was always protected. That's my long winded answer. I'll let my sister talk about anything she experienced as well.
Corinne
Wow.
Yvette
Rasha was born in Hawaii and I came to Hawaii. Mom brought me to Hawaii, I should say, when I was for the first time to meet a real family. I was five years old and mom fell in love like right away with the land, with the energy, with the aina of Hawaii.
Corinne
How can you not Exactly.
Yvette
It's so special. You know, there are those people that come and either love it or those that. It's just too slow for them and they don't like it. But those of us that go and feel that energy, it's like you never want to leave. So for me, growing up in Hawaii, when we finally came there to live, I was probably 8, 9 years old. And I had come from San Diego, so I had Disneyland, I had SeaWorld. So I was kind of like, okay, there's just the beach. What am I gonna do? But obviously, as you get older, you start to understand the history and the. The deepness of this land and the people. And every time, like, I would. I would leave and go away and, you know, travel all around the world. I would always gravitate back home to Hawaii. Because it is so special and so deep. And I even got married there. I got married on the North Shore and go home every single year. I have never experienced seeing Pele or the night marchers, even though, you know, when I was younger and growing up, we would go into these cemeteries and, you know, drink and smoke and wait for the night marchers, which never showed up. Yeah. A few times in my life, Racha. A few times.
Sabrina
Something new I learned about myself.
Yvette
You could not, but I could.
Corinne
I also love that. That's like the equivalent of going to the cemetery and playing with or using a Ouija board. But yours was like a cemetery waiting for the night marchers.
Yvette
I know, I know. And then we all freaked out and left.
Rasha
I feel like, on the rating, the stupidity of teenagers, I feel like that is probably the highest, because the night marchers, like, you guys were really brave, Pushing some boundaries.
Yvette
Yeah. Or the opposite. Or high.
Sabrina
Oh, my goodness.
Rasha
What would you have done if you had actually encountered the night marchers?
Yvette
I mean, I probably would have passed out, you know, I don't know. I have no idea.
Sabrina
I never went looking for the night marchers.
Yvette
When you're a teenager, you're fearless, Right. You just think, whatever. Whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen. But I absolutely love Pele. I mean, if you could see in my office. And both Russia and I have this beautiful picture that is framed of her that is right above our head. But there's so many legends, you know, that ground the Hawaiians and the Hawaiian Islands, and it's. It's a unique and special place.
Corinne
It really is. Okay, well, what other paranormal experiences have you two had? And have you ever had a shared paranormal experience?
Yvette
Ooh, I think we want to have a shared paranormal experience.
Rasha
Should we all have one together right now?
Corinne
Everyone, close your eyes. We'll hold hands.
Sabrina
We've tinkered with it before, though, Yvette. I mean, we have to tell the story. So the one time that we went together to. We call it the Franklin house, but it's known as the Sowden House, where allegedly, Elizabeth Short, also known as the Black Dahlia, was murdered. And that home was also the home to our great grandfather, George Hodel. But when we did our first podcast, root of Evil, we did an episode that ended up on the cutting room floor. And that was the first time Yvette and I had gone to that home together. We had been separately with our mom.
Yvette
I had been there many, many times before with my mom. And the energy in that house is like none other.
Corinne
Yeah.
Yvette
Especially in the basement. And I've had a couple experiences where we were all down there was my mom, my two uncles, our mom. Our mom. Excuse me. I always say our mom and the woman that was living there at the time, you know, was giving us a little tour, and we all went down in the basement, and. And I literally started to have a panic attack. Never had a panic attack in my life. But I told my mom, I said, mom, there's something not right here. And my mom started. I swear to God, she started praying, like, in a different type of language, like in some type of tongue. I have never heard it before.
Corinne
Oh, my God.
Yvette
Like, blessing us or something. And we stayed for, like, a few minutes, and we went back upstairs and got out of there. But I never wanted to go back in that house again until we were doing Root of Evil. And Rasha was like, come on, just do it. Just go in. And I was like, oh, my God, I don't want to. But I had my anchor. I had my best friend Melissa, who was actually in LA at the time, and she is of Hawaiian descent, and she has just this strong, powerful energy. And I felt safe, actually, to go in, knowing that she was there. And then Rasha, you can tell the rest of the story.
Sabrina
So in Hawaii, we have something called, like, a sitting ghost. So I don't know if you have ever heard of that, but it's. Normally, it happens when you're sleeping and you can feel someone or something on your chest. There's just this deep, heavy energy.
Rasha
Oh, yeah. Kind of like the old hag or something like that.
Sabrina
Yes, yes, yes, yes. But we feel this a lot of times in really scary situations. And I felt that as soon as I entered the home. And then we were, you know, going all around, and we were being interviewed by Zach Levitt, who was our director and producer and writer on Root of Evil.
Yvette
And I was actually okay at the time. I was fine.
Corinne
Yeah, you were okay.
Sabrina
But I had that heaviness of the sitting ghost on my chest, and so I had a really hard time even speaking.
Corinne
Yeah, Yvette, you were fine, because the energy was all going to Rasha.
Yvette
Right, right. This is true.
Sabrina
But then it shifted when we got to the basement, and as soon as Yvette walked in, if I remember correctly, she started crying, and the kind of tears where you don't hear anything. You just see it.
Yvette
Yeah, yeah.
Sabrina
And I held her hand, and the sitting ghost left me. And I was there to calm her down. And I don't think we lasted in there very Long. Did we.
Yvette
No, we didn't know because Zach saw exactly how I was feeling, and we left and went back upstairs, and thank God, you know, Melissa was up there, and. But it's just, you know. You know, when there is that evil presence of energy in a space that you can't explain it, but you just know how. How evil it is. And. Yeah, I have no. I have no desire to go back. So. Rasha, don't ask me again.
Corinne
I mean, I feel like you guys did a lot of digging up old wounds and especially related to that case and how it tied to your family that. Yeah, I don't blame you. Which actually can you. For people who are listening and who may not have heard Root of Evil, which Corinne and I both loved.
Rasha
We were listening to it, like when you guys were putting.
Corinne
Yeah.
Rasha
Oh, we're og listener.
Sabrina
We are.
Corinne
Will you just give some context and share with our listeners how you're connected to the Elizabeth Short case?
Sabrina
So it all started with our mom. Our mom was born in 1951 under mysterious circumstances. She was born in San Francisco, California, and then she was given up for adoption to an African American family because her birth certificate said that her father was. It didn't say African American at the time because it was 1951.
Yvette
Said Black.
Sabrina
Said Negro.
Yvette
Negro. Yeah.
Sabrina
Yeah. I feel weird saying that, but.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
Yeah, but it. That's exactly what it said on the birth certificate. And our biological grandmother was only 15 when she gave birth to her. But mom was given away and was raised in Reno, Nevada. And her whole life, she was told that she was adopted and that she was biracial. And so to make a long story short, there's no.
Yvette
It's not possible.
Sabrina
I know. It's gonna still be really long. I'm so sorry. And Yvette can jump in anytime.
Yvette
From the time. I'll just say from the time she was eight years old, she knew that she had a story to tell because obviously she was this little white child, you know, with blue, vibrant eyes, who was living with a black family. It just didn't quite seem right. And she was having issues on both sides, you know, hatred, I should say. Racism on both ends of the spectrum. She didn't fit in because she was white, you know, and she didn't fit in because she was black. But mom had this incredible sense of knowing that there was something bigger to this picture than she could even possibly imagine. And she started searching for her real mother, and she eventually found her when she was probably 21. And that's. Or 20 yeah. 21 is when she found her around 21, 22, and then ended up going to Hawaii when she was 25, 24, 25, 26. We flew to Hawaii, and that's where she met her real mother, Tamar Hodel. And that's when Tamar told her the whole story that she had lied, you know, and said that her father was Negro, but in fact, he was not. He was some Italian playboy who took advantage of her and that her grandfather was the prime suspect in the Black Dahlia murder. So mom's world was completely shattered in that instance.
Corinne
Right. Her whole life, she grew up believing something to realize is not true. Yeah.
Yvette
Yeah. And then, you know, she knew, like I said, she knew that she had a story to tell. So for many, many years, like, she just pounded the pavement, you know, trying to get someone to buy this story. It was called Pretty Hattie's Baby, starring, you know, Alfre Wooder and Tess Harper. And that never took off. And then she finally met the one, the only, Patty Jenkins.
Sabrina
Patty Jenkins.
Yvette
And that's how I am. The night came to be.
Sabrina
But I do have to say a part that Yvette always leaves out, because I know she always felt uncomfortable saying it is that day that she met Tamar on the beach on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. Tamar, her biological mother, told our mom that there was incest as well. So it could have been an Italian playboy as her father, or it could have also been her grandfather. So there was that piece. In my whole life, I always believed that George Hodel was mom's biological father and biological grandfather. But Yvette, you never did, right?
Yvette
Yeah, and I absolutely did not believe it. I mean, obviously, you don't want to believe it, Right?
Rasha
Right.
Yvette
And mom after that, you know, she never put any energy on trying to find her biological father. For good reasons, I'm sure. She was, you know, deathly afraid of what she might find out. But in my heart of hearts, just knowing my mom's spirit so well, I just. I couldn't phantom that could be true, you know, until, you know, she was just about to pass away. And she did say that, you know, she believed that George was her father and that just like, nearly, like two.
Sabrina
Days before she died, she said that.
Yvette
Yeah. Crushed my soul.
Rasha
Yeah.
Yvette
But years later, we found out that he definitely was not her biological father.
Sabrina
Yeah. Thank you. 23. Andme.
Yvette
And I could just hear the heavens opening up.
Corinne
There we go. That's good.
Rasha
Yeah.
Sabrina
And, of course, it was devastating when we lost our mom. We lost Her. She was very young. She was diagnosed at the age of 65 with breast cancer. And we moved her from Honolulu to just a couple blocks away from me and my wife. And Yvette was flying in every few weeks. And we got our mom. Well, we thought we got her through breast cancer over a year and a half, but unfortunately, it metastasized. And 11 days before she died, she signed that deal with Patty Jenkins and her husband, Sam Sheridan, who was the showrunner and worked with mom for the whole year that she was sick with breast cancer on the pilot of I Am the Night.
Corinne
Wow.
Sabrina
And we were on set just six weeks after mom died with Patti and Chris Pine and Sam Sheridan and India Isley. And fast forward to, you know, few months into filming, because we were there majority of the filming. We were very fortunate to be invited and to be a part of that experience. They're like, hey, girls, we know your mom left hours and hours and hours of cassette tapes that she recorded from the time she was a young woman. You know, do you think you could do a companion podcast to go with I Am the Night?
Yvette
And we're like, like, what's a podcast?
Sabrina
We're like, sure, yeah.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
What is a podcast? And they brought in Zach Levitt from then, cadence 13, which is now Odyssey, and they asked us to do Root of Evil, the True story of the Hodel family and the Black Dahlia. And they asked our entire family. Family. So the entire living side of the Hodel family was also a part of it, which was pretty magical and heartbreaking at the same time because a lot of. A lot of deep, dark things came out of that. And, you know, our connection to Elizabeth Short is that George Hodel, our great grandfather, was the prime suspect in her murder.
Rasha
Right.
Sabrina
That was always something that mom had to bear, a cross she had to bear. And she always wanted to advocate for Elizabeth.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
And we always want to do that as well. And the truth of the matter is, like, even if we do believe that George truly did it, we don't have any solid evidence. True, concrete evidence. It's all circumstantial.
Corinne
Right, Right.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
And we would love one day for someone to come out and be like, nope, it wasn't George.
Rasha
And we'll be like, oh, we were jk.
Sabrina
Just kidding.
Rasha
Scratch that.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
But regardless, you know, he did awful, awful, awful things to our family. And it was an incredible, heartbreaking, and surreal experience.
Yvette
It was many things. And it. I would have to say that it was very cathartic, you know, in the end, to have all the family together, you know, during that time was pretty special. Was very special, which I feel like.
Rasha
Is so important to have in a situation that you guys had, or I guess, like, presently are. Are in from a supernatural perspective, too. And even, I'm sure you guys heard about it constantly growing up in Hawaii, this idea of, like, loved ones, of ancestors, of spirit guides, of people coming in. And so you want to think of all of your family who came before you as these, like, pure beings, as these people who can come back and.
Corinne
Like, protect you and guide you.
Yvette
Right?
Rasha
And, like, here you guys are uncovering the opposite within your. Or potentially the opposite within your bloodline. So I do think it's really beautiful that everyone did get to come together and have that good energy that you. You hope to have throughout your family. I mean, talk about including that one person.
Corinne
Yeah, talk about also, like, healing ancestral, like, trauma and generational trauma, breaking the cycle.
Sabrina
That was with our mom.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
Our mom was the most beautiful being. She was just a bright shining light.
Yvette
She truly was. Because despite, you know, all the things that she had gone through, all the secret and all the lies, she still rose above all of it, you know, And. And when I say that supernatural is in our DNA, it truly started with her. Because when. When she was young and living in Reno, Nevada, and experiencing, you know, all these ups and downs, she had guides that would come to her. She had her big mama who had passed away, who would show up and, you know, give her signs to get out of the house or do this or do that. So she always experienced the paranormal.
Corinne
Wait, what do you mean, get out of the house?
Yvette
Well, there was a time when she was young and she was living with her mother, her adopted mother, Jimmy Lee. Jimmy Lee. Jimmy Lee was an amazing human being, but she had a, you know, she had a drinking problem. So when someone is an alcoholic, you know, there's an ugly side to them, right? And so there was physical abuse, and so there was one time where they got into a big fight. And that night she had a vision that her big mama came to her and told her that it is time for you to leave this house. And she ultimately did. She. She got out of the house when she was 14. She was with my dad, you know, pregnant with me at 15. Had me on her 16th right after she turned 16 on August 1st. So, yeah. And all through her life, she's had, you know, different visions like that.
Sabrina
And she's always believed in the supernatural.
Yvette
Always, always. Guardian angels, like, carried her throughout her entire life, for sure.
Rasha
Well, and it's so incredible that she, that she's like allowing them too, throughout her life too, right? Like that she had that sign and.
Corinne
That she took it because so many people do shut it out or like have influences in their life that tell. That convince them to shut it out.
Rasha
Or you ask for a sign and then the sign comes and you're like, well, was that really a sign? And then it's. That's me. It's. I'm talking about Sabrina here. It takes 17 signs to accept it as a sign, right?
Sabrina
No, she was the opposite. She thought everything was a sign or a symbol. Like, even I would roll our eyes at her at times. We're like, okay, mom, you know, but she truly believed in all of that. She believed in crystals and tarot readings and psychic mediums.
Yvette
Right. But she also had a very deep faith in God as well. You know, she was raised in the church, so she had the best of both worlds. You know, nothing was an extreme, you know, one or the other. She like, had the perfect mold of faith and belief and the supernatural all in one. And again, that carried her through. She was truly beyond her time. And I've said that many, many times, she was one of a kind. She just, she had a second sense.
Rasha
Well, it's amazing too, because it sounds like she got double practice, right? Because if she grew up in religion and then she was also interested in all of those other things, it's just like, again, more practice and believing in things and energies outside of yourself.
Yvette
Yes.
Corinne
Yeah.
Yvette
Yes.
Rasha

So Noah's at the age where we have been introducing food. And I will say meal times and snack times are not always easy when you have a baby or a toddler or even a big kid. But one of my neighbors was like, oh, wait, you have to get Little spoon. And then we're so lucky that they also partner with us. And oh my gosh, what a game changer.
Corinne
They are the first baby and TOD to set strict publicly available standards for heavy metals, pesticides, and more in their food. Which means you as a parent can have peace of mind and mealtime is easier without sacrificing on quality.
Rasha
And for Noah, I have been ordering the baby blends, the puffs, the biteables. The baby blends are so great because they're basically like these single ingredient to textured purees that take the stress out of starting solids. I have given Noah puffs and they are made with six organic ingredients and they're multiple baby puffs. And it's so nice because then he can practice his little, like, pincher grasp, hearing the crunch on his gums and his teeth. Very adorable.
Corinne
Plus, they have biteables, plates, smoothies, lunchers, and snacks. And did I mention it comes right to your door. It's so flexible, so easy. And everything stores right in the fridge and freezer. You pick the menu and change up what you order every time. The price is right. The quality is unmatched. We love it. Your kid Noah loves it. My sister's kids love it. The grandparents love it. I love it personally. It's a huge win win for our families and it can be for yours too.

Corinne
So how much of that has been Passed down to you two. And, like, do you guys believe in crystals? And what type of spiritual practice do you hold?
Yvette
Do I believe in crystals as I have my rose quartz.
Corinne
Oh, my God.
Yvette
I have crystals all over the house. I mean, you know, obviously, because, you know, we were so incredibly close to our mom, so all of that has resided within us in one way, shape, or form. So absolutely. I mean, I believe in guardian angels. I believe in crystals. I do have a deep faith in God as well. So I feel like I'm the mix of both of her, because mom, she was the type of person who was willing to open her mind to learn other things, you know, And I feel like I'm exactly the same way.
Sabrina
By the time I came along 11 years later, mom wasn't really into organized religion.
Yvette
You always have to put that in. 11 years later.
Corinne
No, I love listening to you two because you're so such sisters. Like, the way that you. You like little comments between you two. It's so fun.
Sabrina
That's how you know you have true sisters.
Corinne
Yeah.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
But I think truly by the time that I did come along, that mom just wasn't into organized religion. She always said God is love. She always said that. So I wasn't raised in any type of church whatsoever, but we were raised.
Corinne
In the church of love.
Sabrina
Yeah, that's it.
Yvette
Amen to that.
Sabrina
So I consider myself spiritual. I have not a bad relationship with organized religion. But I think also, you know, not realizing that I was gay until I was 30 years old. And, you know, my father was incredibly homophobic because he was raised devout Catholic, and then he denounced Catholicism. But I think for me, I just never really felt accepted, But I always felt accepted by our mom, and I always felt like her love overshadowed and anything else. And I loved collecting crystals and making wishes, and I remember her, like, giving me little crystals, and I'd put them in my pillow, and she would tell me to, you know, make wishes at night so that I could dream, and then my wishes would come true. I mean, this is so sweet.
Corinne
I'm just gonna say this. And, like, I'm. I don't think I'm necessarily like a psychic or a medium, but the way that you two were just talking about your mom, like, I feel. I feel that love and presence around us. Like, I just. And it's a different energy than what we had before. We were recording with you too. You know, I just feel like her presence and just the way that you remember her and talk about her is so palpable.
Rasha
You guys carry her with you.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
We thank you both.
Yvette
Absolutely do. Thank you. That is the highest compliment possible because, you know, in every aspect of our life, she is with us. You know, we are carrying on her legacy, her torch of what she instilled in us to be strong women today. But different, you know, obviously. Right, Right. She was a force to be reckoned with for sure.
Corinne
You know, And I, like, truly feel the love.
Rasha
Yeah.
Corinne
Sabrina's crying. I'm not crying. Like, I really.
Rasha
The video is not zoomed in, but Sabrina has to.
Corinne
I really feel the love. It's beautiful. No, Sabrina, thank you for sharing her with us.
Sabrina
That's so special. Of course. And I think, honestly, that's part of what made Root of Evil so successful, is our mom's voice was all throughout it.
Yvette
Yep.
Sabrina
And she anchored us, and she still anchors us. And it's so funny. We were just talking about this story yesterday with the CEO of Audio Check. It was just like a meet and greet because he's. He's brand new to the company. And we were saying that right after mom died, we hired a psychic medium.
Yvette
Oh.
Sabrina
And it was virtual. And we both asked her because she said after she gave us. She gave us a lot of things, and she said a lot of things that were very affirming and very validating. So we knew that mom was there. And she's like, do you have any questions for her? And you're like, is true crime podcasting what we're really supposed to be doing? Mom, like, is this living out your legacy? Because she was just this epitome of sunshine and kindness, you know, she just so happened to be connected to one of the most infamous unsolved murders in.
Yvette
American history, but couldn't watch anything to do with true crime. Like, me either.
Sabrina
I'm a Disney Harry Potter girl.
Yvette
So I'm like, is this really what you want us to do?
Sabrina
I'm not sure.
Yvette
Please, please come through and tell us.
Sabrina
Yeah. And the psychic said that mom said that this is just a jumping off point. They're literally rocket ships about to take off in your life and look at you. Like, facing evil was just happening. And we. We wanted to change the genre of true crime. We wanted to make it more empathetic, just ethical. Like, you guys do ethical true crime. You come from a place of heart and aloha. But we just didn't feel quite right in the space. And so eventually, when we connected with Audio Chuck and Pave Studios and got to do so Supernatural, and they asked us. They're like, hey, do the girls like anything supernatural, we're like, that's what mom wants us to do.
Rasha
Of course. What a natural pivot.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
And it's true crime adjacent because of some of the stories that we delve into.
Yvette
Right?
Rasha
Yeah. I mean, for ghosts to stay here and haunt places, oftentimes there are these big tragic events.
Yvette
Tragic events, Exactly. Right, Right.
Rasha
Yeah.
Corinne
But I will also say, like, the. The way that you just mentioned, like, your mom was so, like, happy and love and light. Every time we're. We talk to you, you just are so happy, so smiley. And I turned you earlier, I was.
Rasha
Like, are we ready for our girly pop energy?
Yvette
I truly feel that all four of us are kindred spirits. You know, just the connection that you two have and the respect that you two have for one another, even though you're not sisters, you are sisters, and that transcends in what you do as well. So right back at you both.
Corinne
Thank you. That's very nice.
Rasha
Okay, let's take our love circle somewhere a little bit darker.
Sabrina
Let's go to the dark.
Rasha
We all like investigations. We all like clues. We all like jigging up evidence. And so Sabrina and I have prepared some from our listeners and some that were just found on the Internet, some supposed evidence of the paranormal, which we're gonna present to you. And we can decide which. I think we're all gonna decide that it's definitely evidence of the paranormal.
Corinne
Yes.
Sabrina
Right.
Rasha
We can decide or talk through what we think of all of them.
Corinne
Yes.
Rasha
Okay.
Corinne
And so we have some, like, photos and videos and EVPs. So we've got a lot. We've got a lot. And kind of want to do, like, a little game of. I think you've named it. What did you name it?
Rasha
I did. I was feeling creative this morning at 4am after putting my child down for, like, the 10th time in the night.
Corinne
Crin wrote. This is the new TGOG segment that we're going to unveil here first, where we break down the footage, the photos, the sounds, and ask ourselves, is it proof where these spirits. You gotta say this.
Rasha
Wait, what did I name it again? I can't even remember.
Sabrina
What did I name it for you?
Rasha
Oh, I was so clever. Caught dead handed.
Yvette
Caught dead handed. I love that. That's good.
Rasha
Caught dead handed. This is our new segment that we're gonna unveil.
Corinne
Unveil with you, Rasha and Yvette.
Sabrina
We are honored.
Yvette
Let's do it.
Rasha
Okay. So our first bit of evidence was sent in by one of our listeners, Claire. She writes, hey, friends, my Name is Claire, but I will be telling this story on behalf of my friend. When she told me this and she showed me the footage, I asked if I could send it into your podcast, and she said yes. This experience scared the crap out of her, and just seeing the footage makes me feel sick and uneasy. This story is short. It's about my friend who I will call Maddie. And at the time, she lived in an apartment with her parents that had just been built by her parents, and they were going to rent this place out to other people. Maddie has always seen ghosts and just had weird shit following her around since she was a teenager. She told me about several of her experiences in the past where she would see a sleep paralysis demon or just have really weird stuff happen around her all the time. But this experience completely changed everything. She now stays away from anything spooky. She does not like to talk about.
Corinne
The paranormal, so she won't listen to this.
Rasha
Yeah, Maddie's not tuning in.
Yvette
Yeah. Yeah.
Rasha
This night, she was in that apartment that her parents had been staying in and renovating, but her parents were out of town. So this night, she. She was home alone. She started hearing things on the other side of the door, as shown in the video, and started to record. And that is when she spotted what she can only describe as a demon. We're gonna show the video.
Yvette
Ah.
Sabrina
Dun, dun, dun.
Yvette
Ooh.
Sabrina
Oh, my God. That's so creepy.
Corinne
And it literally turns the light on and off.
Rasha
And it's peering around. It turns the light off when it realizes, I think, that it's being filmed.
Sabrina
Oh, my God.
Yvette
That is so freaky wild.
Rasha
Rasha, you said you're a Harry Potter fan. Does this not look like Dobby's ear to you?
Sabrina
Oh, my God, it totally does. He's a demon elf.
Corinne
But it's tall, too. Like, whatever this is.
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
Wow.
Yvette
Yeah, because the height is above the chair in the middle of the lamp.
Sabrina
Ooh, that gives me chicken skin.
Rasha
Oh, it's so creepy. And it's like, there's not a ton of space to hide in that area, but it's perfectly behind that one. I don't even know what it is, if it's like a construction curtain or what.
Corinne
And it feels like it wanted her to see it, like, turning the light on.
Yvette
Yes, of course.
Corinne
And off is a very, very strategic, malevolent choice.
Sabrina
I would have freaked out.
Yvette
I would have. Yeah.
Rasha
Do you think that you would have been able to film it or just be paralyzed in fear?
Sabrina
I think I would have been paralyzed in fear.
Yvette
Yeah. Same, same.
Sabrina
What about you guys?
Yvette
Yeah.
Sabrina
You would film it, wouldn't you?
Rasha
You know what? I don't know, because things have changed in me in the past couple of years. I used to be so chicken, and now it's like, yeah, now something paranormal happens, and I'm just like, stop and move on.
Sabrina
Oh, my goodness.
Rasha
So maybe now I would. But if I were answering this question a year ago, I definitely would have been way too scared. Now I would probably approach it and be like, you gotta go.
Sabrina
You gotta go.
Corinne
See, my instinct, I think, like, in a lot of fight orf flight situations is freeze. So there is part of me that thinks that I would freeze and then, like, slowly be, like, reaching for my phone and film it.
Rasha
Yeah.
Sabrina
Like, I need to record this.
Yvette
Yeah. Yeah. It's true. It's hard to say, right? Because we can say, like, my initial reaction is be like, oh, hell no. Like, I just be terrified. But then if you're right there in it and you are in that fight or flight, like, you don't know how you're gonna react, you know?
Rasha
Totally.
Yvette
Especially, like, with you, Corinne, like, being a mom now you're like, come on, I'm gonna take you on.
Corinne
Let's go, mama bear.
Rasha
I got enough dudes I'm fighting every single day. I don't need another one.
Sabrina
But that is definite proof of the paranormal.
Rasha
I mean. Yeah, like, what else could that possibly be?
Corinne
Yeah, I mean, I think this whole segment is. Yes, this is proof.
Rasha
Yeah, this is. Yes, I named it inappropriately. It should. I don't even remember what I named it again.
Corinne
Caught dead handed.
Sabrina
It's caught dead handed.
Rasha
Caught dead handed. Oh, my God. This is proof that I'm a new mom. My brain doesn't work. I have zero words. Rasha, does it ever turn itself around? Do you ever get your memory back?
Sabrina
Does your brain ever return to its full capacity? My pregnancy was wicked. Like, I had preeclampsia and was on bed rest at seven months. And I think I was okay after she was born. Like, I felt like it kind of returned pretty quickly, but I definitely have my obviously blonde moment. You'll be fine, Corinne. It'll be back. Thanks.
Corinne
Okay, so this next one I found on Reddit, and it's an evp, so I'm gonna play it, and I kind of want to hear what everyone think they hear.
Rasha
Okay, so you're not going to tell us what people on the Internet think it is yet so that we can make our own judgments?
Corinne
Yeah. So just as a context, this was posted 7 months ago. On Reddit and the user RGK1012 said caught an EVP while trying to record a video of a storm. The first thing you hear is me saying back Rutherford, which is my cat's name, followed by the evp. It was very late at night. I was alone with just my cat trying to catch a video of the lightning. The neighbors had just moved out. I didn't hear anything audibly in real time. Only when watching it back.
Sabrina
Oh, Only when watching it back. Okay, let me put both of my headphones on for this one.
Yvette
Okay. Yeah.
Sabrina
I heard something.
Yvette
I did too, but I can't. One more time.
Sabrina
I heard Rutherford. And then it almost sounds like Gollum.
Yvette
Take it. Is it saying take it?
Rasha
I hear the word back at first.
Corinne
Well, because. So he says that he says back Rutherford to his cat.
Rasha
Oh, he says back R. Okay, wait.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
But then you hear something crazy.
Yvette
I hear something after that. It sounds like it says take it or something. Is that okay?
Rasha
One more time.
Yvette
One more time. One more time.
Sabrina
Yeah, I hear back Rutherford.
Yvette
I hear Rutherford.
Sabrina
And then it sounds like, taken.
Yvette
Take it David. Or something. I don't know.
Rasha
Yeah.
Sabrina
Oh, not dear David.
Corinne
Not dear David.
Rasha
Not dear David. It does sound like that.
Corinne
Yeah.
Rasha
Like, take it.
Corinne
Like, take the picture or take the video or take it. I. When I first heard it, I thought it said.
Rasha
Maybe.
Corinne
I don't know. It Creepy.
Rasha
Yeah. It's like little and.
Yvette
Yeah.
Rasha
Which makes me wonder, like, is it the cat? Like, is the cat speaking?
Yvette
But what are people saying that they think they're hearing?
Corinne
Good question. Let's see. Some people heard Timmy. So it is a T. Some person said they listened to it reversed, and it sounded like a dog.
Sabrina
Oh.
Yvette
Oh.
Corinne
Someone else thought that they heard kitty after saying back Rutherford. Right. Which I guess would make sense.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Corinne
Like a spirit being like kitty.
Rasha
Kitty. Yeah.
Sabrina
And cats would normally see spirits. Right?
Corinne
Right. Oh, wait. Someone else said I literally hear dick. I'm not making a joke. Like, I heard, like, dickhead.
Sabrina
Yeah, that goes with your dickhead.
Corinne
Yeah, dickhead. It does.
Sabrina
Okay.
Rasha
Unfortunately, the spirit wasn't able to join us today to confirm.
Yvette
Exactly.
Corinne
Unfortunately.
Rasha
It's freaky, though. Like, when you find something that you weren't expecting to find. When you're, like, re looking at stuff. We actually had. I wish we had pulled it to show you guys, but Sabrina and I did. We did, like, one big tour, but then we've done a few, like, small, like, couple shows here and there, like, live shows. And a few years ago, we were going through some of the EVPs that people had, like, marked in our podcast. And we realized that, like, two or three years apart, the same man's voice is in EVPs. Like, one time it said like, hello, and another time it said something else. But it is not someone that we recognize at all. We had both moved apartments multiple times in a man.
Corinne
And it's like a male's voice.
Rasha
Yeah, it sounds like a man, maybe in his, like, late 20s or early 30s.
Corinne
And we joke that we have a spirit named Sven haunting our podcast. So we just kind of been. We're like, okay, maybe it's Sven.
Sabrina
Just maybe it's Sven.
Rasha
We have had, like, different mediums and. And people say, like, oh, yeah, there is a man haunting your podcast, and his name is not Sven, but he is donning that name proudly and. And enjoys the attention.
Sabrina
And you don't hear it when you're recording, right? No, no, it's just the listeners that hear it.
Yvette
It's always after.
Corinne
I mean, I think that's a lot Audio in general. Like, there's probably countless EVPs in podcasts, but people are probably not listening to a true crime podcast for EVPs or.
Sabrina
Right, yeah, right.
Corinne
A self help podcast for EVP.
Rasha
It's also strange though, because it's like we used to edit back then and now we have an editor and stuff. And so, like, audio is cleaned and audio, like, we usually try to find things that are, like, strange and eliminate them. So it is strange when EVPs still make their way through and that we, like, even in post, don't notice it.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
Wow. That's a trip.
Rasha
Okay, I have a ghost photo now to share with you guys.
Sabrina
Oh, okay.
Rasha
This was sent in by one of our listeners. They write, this story is from my friend Ashley, who okayed me to tell this story. This happened when she was in high school, probably around 2013-2014. She lived in a duplex, which she thought was haunted and got uneasy feelings in the home. Her and her friend were sending selfies back and forth, her friend being the first to send one. And when it came time for Ashley to send a picture, she snapped a selfie and went on with her time. Her friend later responded to her selfie saying, who's that behind you? Confused, Ashley looked back at the image and was immediately freaked out. There was a full body apparition behind her, sitting on the couch watching her.
Corinne
No.
Rasha
And this was sent by Jessica.
Corinne
It is such a creepy photo. Ready?
Sabrina
Oh my God.
Corinne
Sharing it.
Sabrina
Shut up.
Yvette
What?
Corinne
Oh, did it stop sharing? Oh, my God. That's.
Rasha
That's creepy.
Sabrina
Oh, my God. That's so funny. It only went on there for a second and then went away.
Corinne
It doesn't want us to see it. Oh, my goodness.
Yvette
Okay.
Sabrina
It. It looked real to me.
Yvette
Oh, no. Oh, no.
Sabrina
Oh, yeah.
Corinne
It looks like Voldemort.
Sabrina
It totally looks like Voldemort from the first skeleton.
Rasha
It's like a skeleton face, like, almost like a mask. Like.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Rasha
I think of in the movie the Strangers, one of the masks that they.
Corinne
Oh yeah, killers wears. The face almost looks like it's melting.
Rasha
It does. And do you see like the hand? The. The arm looks bent and it looks like there's hand, like. Yeah, they're just kind of clasping their hands up here. Or one hand is up here. Yeah. There's limbs, there's a face, there's eye, nose, mouth.
Corinne
So creepy.
Sabrina
It looks like a skeleton to me.
Rasha
Very creepy.
Sabrina
Total proof.
Rasha
Total proof. Caught dead handed. I remembered it this time.
Corinne
It's also so interesting when people do catch photos of spirits. We had an experience in New Orleans. It's our claim to fame.
Rasha
The only time we've ever been in a tabloid.
Corinne
Yes.
Sabrina
Oh, I've been in a tabloid too. Let's hear your story.
Corinne
Well, what was your quote? And then I'll tell the story.
Rasha
So I find out we were in the tabloid because at the time I worked in hr and the director of HR sent me. She must have like a Google alert on all the employees or something. And she sent me this article because I was quoted as saying, yep, that's definitely a penis.
Sabrina
Oh my goodness.
Rasha
Corinne Vien of Two Girls, One Ghost said, yep, that's definitely a penis.
Corinne
So, yeah, we were in New Orleans and we were at Lafitte's blacksmith shop and Corinne and my friend Scout were sitting in front of the fireplace where people, when they take photos, people have caught a face that is said to be Lafitte, John Lafitte's face. Like spirit form.
Rasha
And it's like frequent people say like one in every, you know, 200 photos or something will have something that looks like a face.
Corinne
But we caught something phallic.
Rasha
It's like a glowing little blue penis.
Corinne
Yeah, it looks like a penis. Let me see if I have. Actually, I'll pull up the tabloid.
Sabrina
Sure. Show the lesbian a penis.
Yvette
Great. Show us that little blue penis, please.
Rasha
It's interesting.
Corinne
Literally. The Daily Star ghost penis caught on camera by stunned paranormal fans inside haunted bar. There it is.
Rasha
Oh, there it is.
Sabrina
Oh, yeah, that's definitely a blue penis.
Yvette
That is funny. Oh, my gosh.
Corinne
But my point being, like, it's. So I took two pictures like within the same 10 seconds. And.
Sabrina
And it's not in the other one.
Corinne
One photo has nothing and the next does. And it's like how.
Rasha
Well, and oddly, all of the photos you were taking were live because we were like, oh, we're going to hold them down and see if we can capture anything like moving or whatever. All of them were live. The only one in the who that wasn't live was this one. The one where there was.
Sabrina
That's definitely a spirit for sure.
Corinne
Yeah. But like, why then. And was the entity there the whole time? But just then in that moment, like my camera was able to capture it or did it choose to make itself visible to us?
Yvette
I think it chose because why wouldn't it get in any of the other ones you were taking? Right. I think it specifically chose well.
Rasha
I wish we had a choice to not see that, but I can never unsee it.
Yvette
Well, at least it was blue.
Corinne
That's the only type of like, flashing. I want a paranormal flashing. Yeah, caught dead handed.
Sabrina
You need to trademark that and put it on.
Corinne
It's so good.
Rasha
I'm sure it exists somewhere else. It's just. It's a pun.
Corinne
I love it. I love a pun. Okay, so the last one we have is another video from a listener. And it's like a ring camera situation.
Sabrina
Oh.
Corinne
And the only context is. Hi, ladies. The ring camera captured this at 1:30 in the morning outside of our house in Pennsylvania. That's it.
Yvette
Okay.
Corinne
Oh.
Yvette
Oh, that's definitely a spirit.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Corinne
Right? It looks like a form.
Rasha
Walking.
Yvette
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Corinne
Isn't that wild?
Sabrina
That gives me chicken skin. That's the creepiest one I've seen out of everything. Yeah.
Corinne
And that one just makes me. I mean, brings up the whole conversation of timelines and like, what is time? And is there.
Rasha
What are spirits? Are they actually like deceased people in the present timeline? Or are we seeing some sort of like, glitch in the right matrix? A different timeline?
Corinne
Is this just like a person walking through the yard in a different timeline?
Sabrina
Wow, that's something to think about.
Yvette
There's so many different ways to look at it. Right. Again, we can go back to what happened on the land. Like what happened on that property. Is there an entity or spirit that is, you know, still present there for some reason or another? Or like you said, are we in the Matrix? Like, you know, are we living in two different or three different timelines? Who's deceiving?
Rasha
Or 4 or 5 or 4 or 5 infinite.
Corinne
Yeah.
Sabrina
Or the Multiverse.
Rasha
Everything everywhere all at once. Yeah, the multiverse, exactly. Are we a regular human Loki or are we crocodile Loki in this?
Sabrina
Like oh my goodness. I want to be crocodile Loki. This Father's Day at Lowe's.

Corinne
Don't you mess with this.
Rasha
Why did you do this?
Corinne
Well, okay, well first, have you two captured any what you would call evidence? Have you caught any spirits dead handed in any way?
Sabrina
Well, I've always joked since our mom died in 2017 that I've wanted to see her ghost or have her haunt us, happily haunt us. And I've been joking about this for a long time and I think it was about four times nights ago. And normally I suffer from really bad nightmares. And four nights ago I had a dream where I saw our mom. But she was in the form of a spirit. Like she was kind of like that blue, glassy almost like you could see through her. But she looked so stunningly beautiful. And you know, cancer kind of took that away from her in the end even though she still was really pretty. But it like no sign of cancer or anything. And I was telling you about this the other day when you know, the morning I didn't remember it until she was telling me about a dream she Had. And then I'm like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. I have to tell you. I dreamt about mom last night. And I asked this spirit, which I knew was my mom. I said, can I hug you? And I can't remember if she said yes or. She nodded and I hugged her. And I felt the hug. Like, I could physically feel it. And that's the first time. And I've dreamt about her many, many, many times. Normally, it's. Sadly, it's her corpse. And she's like, I'm not dead. And I'm like, you have to stop coming to me in corpse form. It's freaking me out because we cremated you. So what is going on? But, yeah, I felt the hug. And, like, I could feel it in my dream and in my body. And that's the first time that's ever happened to me.
Rasha
That was a dream visitation. Then it doesn't really feel like a dream at all.
Sabrina
And she hugged me.
Rasha
We've heard before, like, if you can feel something or like if you can look down and see your own toes, if you're consciously thinking in your own dream. Oh, my God, I can't believe this is happening.
Sabrina
That's exactly how I was feeling.
Rasha
Yeah. It's not a dream. It's you in this, like, astral plane space that looks like a dream to give you access or to give spirits access to you in a space that won't you send scare you.
Sabrina
Now I'm crying.
Corinne
And I also think when you're sleeping, you just are able to be a little bit more in a. In a. Wow.
Rasha
In your inhibition release.
Corinne
You can release your inhibitions. That's the only way you can say.
Sabrina
The word A. I love that. Oh, my God. It makes my heart happy.
Rasha
You got to sing it if you can't say it.
Corinne
But. Yeah.
Sabrina
That's so beautiful.
Rasha
That's so special. Yeah.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Yvette
I think for me, like, I've. There's so many times, you know, after mom passed, I would. I was in the shower, and I would always write on the glass door. I'd always say, I love you, Mom. I miss you. And I would wait for the steam to take it away or for her to write something. Till this day that still hasn't happened. I still do that, waiting. And I know one day it will happen. I do believe it. But there was a time again, dreaming, sleeping. And I was going through some stuff. And as a kid, whenever I would work out my problems, I would just go to sleep. My mom always used to say, that's why you look so young. Cause you slept half of your life away. When I was sleeping and having some issues, I felt my mom saying, it's okay, it's okay. And I could feel the touch of her hand rubbing, you know, across my forehead. That's so sweet. That was the very first time that I ever felt that. That was a while ago. I think I told you about that, Racha. A long time ago.
Sabrina
Yeah, I remember.
Yvette
But that's the only time that I actually felt that, you know, like that physical touch.
Rasha
Wow.
Sabrina
And I know you two have had multiple, right?
Corinne
Oh, yeah. But nothing quite like the ghost penis.
Rasha
That one was unique. That will probably never happen again.
Corinne
Yeah, I don't. If we catch another ghost penis, I will be. I don't know.
Rasha
There's a problem. Then someone needs to give us. Travel Channel needs to give us a show or maybe HBO so that we can show the penises Chasing ghost peen.
Sabrina
Oh, my gosh. Has to be h. Hbo. Max Phantom Flashers.
Corinne
Yeah, you're good. So witty. But yeah. Let's do our palette cleanser.
Rasha
The palette cleanser.
Corinne
Actually, you gave a witty name to this too. What did you call it?
Rasha
Cuz my brain's on at 3am but not. Not many other times.
Corinne
Okay, would you rather paranormal versus mundane inconveniences? Okay, so do you want to do one for Rasha and I'll do one for Yvette, and then we'll go back and forth?
Rasha
Okay, we're gonna do like a little bit of a rapid fire. These are gonna be. Would you rathers. And one of them is gonna be like a. Would you rather have the option to choose this paranormal thing or this other thing that's not paranormal but might be a little bit annoying?
Sabrina
Okay, okay.
Yvette
Okay.
Rasha
Raja, would you rather have a haunted music box that only plays baby shark?
Sabrina
Oh, my God.
Rasha
Every stranger you ever meet call you mommy?
Sabrina
Oh, my God, that is so hard. I'd want every stranger to call me mommy because I could not get baby shark out of my head for years.
Corinne
Even just hearing baby shark makes it go.
Rasha
Oh, my God. No one hum it. No one hum it.
Corinne
All right, Yvette, would you rather have a doppelganger that only mimics your most embarrassing moments or use a phone that only makes calls on speaker?
Yvette
I would have a doppelganger who always, you know, mimics my most embarrassing moments because I am one to laugh. I love to laugh, so I'm fine with that.
Corinne
All right, well, what's an embarrassing moment? That you're.
Sabrina
You're.
Yvette
Oh, My God. I'm trying to think about one.
Corinne
You gotta pick an embarrassing moment.
Yvette
Rasha would know one.
Sabrina
An embarrassing moment.
Yvette
An embarrassing moment. Oh, my God.
Sabrina
Do you guys know that viral moment when Jessica Simpson.
Yvette
Oh, right.
Sabrina
Is this the one with the.
Rasha
Oh, is this chicken or tuna of the sea?
Yvette
And I was like, but what?
Sabrina
Yeah, she did the same thing that Jessica did. She's like, but isn't it chicken? And I'm like, oh, my God. This is. When we live together in la.
Yvette
There's like, yeah, you know, I do have a little bit of blonde in me. But, hey, I would rather. I would rather be laughing, like, 24 7. Fair.
Rasha
So you'll find the humor in your doppelganger reliving your embarrassment.
Yvette
Yes, I would. I would. And my abs would be tight.
Sabrina
This is true.
Rasha
Okay. Rasha, would you rather have a ghost than moans your name every time you fall asleep or have everyone in your life insist that ghosts aren't real?
Sabrina
Oh, oh, I'd probably want them to moan my name because I don't want to know that ghosts aren't real.
Corinne
I agree with that.
Rasha
Yeah.
Corinne
I would do the same.
Rasha
You'll get desensitized to it. Right? Like, you'll just hear the.
Sabrina
I'll get used to it. It'll be fine.
Rasha
Right. It's white noise at this point.
Sabrina
Right.
Corinne
Yvette, would you rather own a haunted Alexa that whispers true crime facts every morning at 3am or wake up every morning to find 100 unread messages in a group chat?
Yvette
Probably wake up every morning to find 100 messages in a group chat because I don't check all my messages as it is.
Corinne
I'm the same.
Rasha
There's no obligation to read them then.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Yvette
For sure. My sister gets anxiety looking at my phone when she sees if, like, if I have.
Sabrina
There's a notification.
Yvette
Yeah, I have notifications that I haven't checked. I'm like. It's.
Sabrina
I'm like, have you not responded?
Rasha
I don't understand you, Rash. Are you, like, an inbox zero type of person?
Yvette
Yes. Oh, she is.
Sabrina
I am so type A in that sense.
Corinne
We used to be like that, and now we both are. Like text messages at 150.
Sabrina
Oh, God. I couldn't, unfortunately.
Yvette
And I'm like, it's fine.
Rasha
Okay, well, here, let me do this one first. Before the other one I was gonna do. So, Rasha, would you rather have a haunted ceiling fan that spins faster and faster and faster when you're anxious?
Sabrina
Oh, shit.
Rasha
Or live with a thermostat that's stuck at 66 degrees forever.
Yvette
Oh, that's easy.
Sabrina
Oh, my God.
Yvette
That's easy, Rasha.
Sabrina
I can't have anything at 66, but I have the worst anxiety. Oh, my God.
Rasha
So what are you gonna choose?
Yvette
I know, Raja.
Sabrina
I'd probably go with the thermostat stuck at 66 because the fan would make me have a panic attack.
Rasha
Right.
Corinne
I would also, like, start to fear, like, Final Destination. Like, this thing's gonna fly off.
Sabrina
And I know I can't even watch the commercial for the new one. I'm like, nope.
Corinne
Yeah. Yeah. Okay, Yvette.
Rasha
Okay.
Yvette
Okay, wait.
Corinne
Would you rather have a spirit that appears every time you sneeze just to say bless you, and then vanishes, or have a partner who sneezes louder than loud every single time?
Yvette
Well, I have to go with the second one, because I already have a partner who sneezes louder than loud and scares the bejesus out of me every time he sneezes. My husband, Gino. So that's a real thing.
Corinne
I feel like both of those are not terrible. Like, I wouldn't mind a ghost showing up, like, every time I sneeze to say, bless you. Yeah.
Yvette
Bless you. Bless you.
Corinne
Kind of polite.
Sabrina
Yeah. Yeah.
Rasha
But then it's like, what does that ghost look like? And then the fear of that. And what if you don't know where they pop up? Like, are they going to be right in front of your face? Or, like, across the yard?
Yvette
Like, ah, thank you.
Rasha
You're scared. It's like, the buildup of the sneeze, and you know they're about to pop up.
Sabrina
Yeah.
Rasha
I think the suspense of it would. I would choose the loud sneeze. Right.
Yvette
Yeah.
Rasha
Yeah. Okay. Rasha, would you rather be haunted by a spirit who sobs loudly during your zoom calls or never be able to mute yourself on a zoom call? Ooh, depends. How many weird noises do you make while you're. Yeah.
Sabrina
Oh, shit. I think I'd go with never be able to mute myself because I try to keep all my embarrassing things, like, off the mic anyway.
Corinne
It's fair.
Sabrina
Like, if I have to burp, I'd be like, man, I'm reaching for something over here.
Corinne
But I would, like, love to have a moaning myrtle. And I'd have to explain every time I'm on a zoom call, like, hey, you're going to hear some sobbing. It's my ghost.
Sabrina
She hates when I'm on the.
Rasha
But then I'd almost feel bad about it. I'd be like, I can't take A zoom call because it upsets my nose.
Sabrina
I would feel bad. That's why I'd want to not be able to mute myself.
Corinne
All right, Yvette, would you rather have a Victorian child ghost who wants to play but their favorite game is funeral or live in a home that used to be a funeral parlor?
Yvette
Oh, Lord, no.
Sabrina
You have to pick one.
Yvette
No. What was the first one again? Say it again.
Corinne
Have a Victorian child ghost who wants to play, but their favorite game to play is called funeral.
Yvette
I would have to say that. I would have to choose that one. Yeah.
Corinne
And they want you to play the dead person every time.
Yvette
She wants to play the dead person every time. She just wants to play.
Rasha
Honestly, not a bad gig to play the dead person if you get to, like, lie there and they pretend to do your makeup. Like, feels good. Feels like a little massage.
Yvette
Yeah, she. She might have some talent. Who knows?
Sabrina
But then they close the coffin and you freak out.
Rasha
I'm pitch this game to my kid when he's old enough. Rasha, would you rather wake up every morning to find creepy photos of yourself sleeping on your phone, but you always get a nice nine hours of sleep or wake up at the witching hour every single night, no matter what?
Sabrina
Ooh, I would want the creepy photos on my phone and get the nine hours of sleep because my 13 year old steals my phone sometimes and does take creepy photos of me sleeping.
Yvette
Yeah, she takes photos, like, all the way up your neighborhood.
Corinne
That's a lived experience.
Sabrina
I love that. She loves the 0.5, especially on her iPhone and gets. Gets all the crinkles in my head.
Corinne
Oh, my gosh.
Rasha
So you do live in a haunted house. It's haunted by your 13 year old.
Sabrina
Exactly.
Rasha
Okay.
Corinne
This is the last one.
Rasha
Yeah.
Corinne
Okay. Yvette.
Yvette
Yes.
Corinne
Would you rather have a ghost that whispers spoilers to every show you start or be limited to only watch cable and there's no streaming?
Yvette
Oh, man, that's a hard one. I think I would take the first. I would have a ghost who whispers the spoilers because I. I can't just watch cable and no strength.
Corinne
Yeah, I agree.
Rasha
I agree.
Yvette
I can't. I can't.
Sabrina
And Yvette's always the one that figures out what's going on.
Yvette
Yes. I am the true detective, because I am always the one figuring out the shit right from the get. That rhymed.
Corinne
Well, that's our.
Rasha
So that was our palate cleanser.
Corinne
That was our palette cleanser.
Sabrina
Love the palate cleanser.
Rasha
Makes you forget all of the videos and EVPs and photos we just looked at.
Sabrina
Yeah. I feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Corinne
Exactly. I feel like, in general, this episode was lighter than the. The Demon of Burrasville. Burrarsville.
Yvette
Oh, Brownsville.
Corinne
Brownsville.
Yvette
Brownsville.
Corinne
The Demon of Brownsville.
Yvette
I was like, what is that? Is that another one?
Corinne
You know, I missed a couple of letters there, but I was close.
Yvette
It's fine. You're fine.
Corinne
Which, if people haven't listened, go check out that episode on so Supernatural.
Rasha
Well, thank you guys so much for joining us. We had so much fun, and we will see you on the other side. Very spooky.

Corinne Vien opens the episode by expressing admiration for so Supernatural, highlighting their recent collaboration on the episode "The Demon of Brownsville Road." She notes, “We did a collab with them. So we have an episode on the so Supernatural feed that also comes out today, June 13th, which is also Friday the 13th, which I think is amazing” (02:40).
The hosts set the tone for the episode by emphasizing a lighter, more conversational approach compared to their more intense horror tales, introducing games and discussions about paranormal beliefs and experiences.
The conversation delves into the hosts' personal beliefs in the supernatural. Rasha confidently states, “100%. Yes” (03:18), while Sabrina humorously exaggerates, “I was going to say a hundred million percent” (03:21), underscoring their unwavering faith in paranormal phenomena.
The discussion shifts to Hawaiian legends, where Sabrina shares her deep connection with Hawaiian culture and myths, particularly the lore surrounding Madame Pele, the goddess of fire, and the night marchers. She recounts a personal family experience:
“...in the last home we lived in with my dad and stepmom, my father was convinced that Tutu Pele haunted our house” (05:24).
A significant portion of the episode explores the hosts' intricate family history linked to the infamous Black Dahlia case. Sabrina reveals:
“...there was incest as well. So it could have been an Italian playboy as her father, or it could have also been her grandfather. So there was that piece... our connection to Elizabeth Short is that George Hodel, our great grandfather, was the prime suspect in her murder” (17:00).
Yvette adds emotional depth to the narrative, detailing the impact of uncovering familial ties to such a notorious case:
“...years later, we found out that he definitely was not her biological father” (19:05).
This revelation profoundly affected their family, leading to the creation of the Root of Evil podcast to explore and advocate around the mysteries of the Black Dahlia case.
The guests share poignant stories of encountering the supernatural. Yvette describes an unsettling experience in the Franklin (Sowden) House, the site associated with Elizabeth Short’s murder:
“...I literally started to have a panic attack. Never had a panic attack in my life. But I told my mom, I said, mom, there's something not right here” (10:00).
Sabrina recounts the phenomenon of "sitting ghosts" in Hawaii, explaining how she felt a heavy presence upon entering a haunted house with Rasha and Yvette:
“...as soon as I entered the home. And then we were being interviewed by Zach Levitt...” (12:38).
These stories underscore the profound and often terrifying encounters with the paranormal that both podcasts explore.

These games provide a humorous contrast to the heavier discussions, showcasing the hosts' camaraderie and ability to balance fear with fun.
