Todd Chrisley
Welcome to Two Sons and me. I'm Todd.
Grayson Chrisley
I'm Grayson.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I'm Chase.
Todd Chrisley
Folks, today is going to be a great day. You've heard me talk about Terrence, who was at my summer retreat.
Grayson Chrisley
That's right, your summer camp.
Todd Chrisley
My summer camp. You've heard me talk about Terrence on Chrisley Confessions 2.0.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And you tune into that every.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Every week.
Todd Chrisley
Okay. And it just dawned on me. I don't know why it's taken this long, but when Grayson kept saying, I just want to start interviewing people. That was with you when you were at your summer camp.
Grayson Chrisley
Yeah, it was my idea to have my gunk along.
Todd Chrisley
Your gun. That's right. Your gunkle. That's right, Uncle. And so when Grayson said, dad, we need to, like, start bringing some of the guys on that you were there with, because I really want to hear their version. I've heard your version version, but I want to hear their version. And so he went and put all this together. So, I mean, I'm proud of him for doing that.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I am.
Todd Chrisley
So today it's going to be a very special day. This is going to be a two parter here on Two sons of me. And don't worry, Chase is coming up in, I think, the next one, the third one. And so this is going to be fun. So, Terrence.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
Let me just say a. That you know I love you. I'm so happy that you're here. This you be exactly who you are.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Who.
Todd Chrisley
Who myself and my family fell in love with and who so many people at Pensacola fell in love with.
Grayson Chrisley
I mean, Terrence was At my parents weekend.
Todd Chrisley
Right? Exactly right.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Roll tight.
Todd Chrisley
So I want you to be exactly who you are. This is a safe zone. It's a great space for you to say whatever it is that you want to say. And it's also, you already know, it's open for you to ask whatever questions you want to ask. And I'm gonna call bullshit when I hear it.
Grayson Chrisley
Well, my first question is, was he scared?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Hell, no. Never scared. Never scared of what and who?
Grayson Chrisley
You were shaking in your boots, weren't you?
Terrence Price Chrisley
A lie. He ran that compound.
Grayson Chrisley
Did they mess with him at all?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Heck, no. Nobody never messed with Todd. Toddlers was a great friend to everybody that was there. I fell in love with his accountability. And whatever problem or whatever situation came up, he would get all the parties together and say, well, you said this and you said this and this would happen, and he solved the shit. So, you know when you have somebody in your corner that going to get the truth out and hold the other person accountable, and that's what. That's what your dad was. He was very accountable.
Grayson Chrisley
We've already seen. He's going to get the truth out.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Oh, yeah. He's going to fish.
Todd Chrisley
Oh, yeah. And I'm on catch. I remember when you and I first met.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
I was coming off of my side of the dorm. You were coming on the other side of the dorm.
Progressive Insurance Announcer
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
And we met just briefly.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And I remember Terrence just being very kind and very gay and. And really. But I remember when I was in the chapel, Melvin, who is one of. Was one of my best friends and still is. And if you go back on my Instagram, Melvin's the gentleman that Savannah and I flew to Miami and got out of prison and then got him to the halfway house. But I remember Melvin looking out the window in the chapel, and Terrence pulls up in a Range Rover and he's got on his little workout uniform with his little tights. Pants.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I had on tights.
Todd Chrisley
And Melvin's and had his little jacket draped over his shoulder. And Melvin said, what's really going on around here? And I said, what is it?
Grayson Chrisley
That was his go to saying, yes.
Todd Chrisley
And I said, what is it? And I came out of my office. He said, come here. And here was Terrence sashaying down the side.
Grayson Chrisley
Oh, God.
Todd Chrisley
And I said. And Melvin said, what's going on around here? And I said, I don't know. I said, but don't worry about it. I said, we're gonna probably end up being friends with him. And he goes, that's the situation. And so I just shook my head, started laughing, not thinking, because you had a dorm, which is the dorm that I was in, which was the preferable dorm.
Grayson Chrisley
It was the sweets.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, it was the preferable dorm if you were going to have to be there. So I was in A. Then you had B and C in one building, and then you had D dorm, which was rdb. And so I didn't think he was going to RD up. And so the next time I saw him, he was in an orange jumpsuit. And I said, oh, God bless this fellow. And so I walked out of my dorm. He was coming out of his. And you could just see. See that you were not really afraid, but you were very uncomfortable because you didn't know what to expect.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And you were introduced to me, and I shook your hand, and I said, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And I said, if you need anything, I said, I'm on this side over here. I said, you come to me and I'll help you with what I can.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And so that was really the end of it from that point forward, you know, from that moment. And then you can finish telling the rest of the story.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Well, he told me. Well, I was introduced to him as Michael Todd Chrisley. I didn't know him by Michael. All I knew him by was Todd.
Todd Chrisley
And that was someone else introducing him to.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, somebody else introduced me to him.
Grayson Chrisley
They dropped your full legal name?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, they did. So Todd had this, like, friendly glow on him. And I'm like. I could see myself hanging out with that fellow. He's pretty cool. So, you know, your dad worked in the chapel, so my duty was later on because you had to go through orientation before you get a job and do all that stuff. So before I started working at unicor, I would go and visit him at the chapel and sit with him and have conversations. And I found him to be a true friend. So. And he was never scared of nobody or nothing.
Todd Chrisley
Well, you know, Terrence ended up in my room, you know, with me and my other friends.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, I did.
Todd Chrisley
And how did that come about?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Well, you know, you had people talking shit. You don't have the shit talkers. So your dad, if anybody talk about anybody he's close to, especially y', all, his wife, Julie, his mama. Kids are off limit, and his friends are off limit. So he got a wind of some tatters, and he said, pack your shit. You coming over here to my room. So soon as he had an opening. I was at work that day, and I come back from work, they said, todd already moved you. I said, what?
Todd Chrisley
Well, me and Scott moved you. Me and Scott. There was another kid in my room and Dusty. And Dusty.
Grayson Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
We all went over there and got him because they were, you know, he was in a room with a bunch of bigots and who was talking shit about you being gay. And I went over there and I custom all out and I said, I don't know why y' all are sitting over here flattering yourself. I said, because as a gay man, he's got better taste than to want any of y'.
Carvana Advertiser
All.
Todd Chrisley
And I said, skyler, pack his shit and get him move. Get him moved over there. So Skyler and Dustin really did everything. You know me, I'm always one orchestra. And I don't do moves, folks, but I can orchestrate them. And so they brought you over and got your locker set up and all that. And when he come walking over that day after he got off the bus from working, he comes, stuck his head and he goes, hey, they told me that you moved me out of that room over there today. That somebody did, and you was involved. And I said, you're on that bunk right there. And he said, okay. And so then later that after. Later that evening, he came and sat down. He goes, oh, why'd you come move me? I said, because I know what you've been going through. And from that point forward, yeah. Terrence became one of the dearest friends that I will ever have. And you know that story. And not only did you find your spot, and that's what I want. That's what I want for really everyone in the world, because I believe everyone deserves their spot, their person, you know, their moment. And I feel like that. I feel like that you looked at it from the standpoint of that because you have said so many times, todd, I don't know what I would have done without you. I don't know how I would have survived without you. And you've heard me say, I don't know how I would have without him. Because I think that you. It is the craziest thing because all of these white, straight, you know, redneck guys that was there, you ended up becoming best friends with.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And they. Because they were able to see you for the. For the man that you are.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
That you had a good character, you had a genuine spirit, and you were kind.
Grayson Chrisley
How we've always been raised.
Todd Chrisley
Right. Exactly.
Grayson Chrisley
I mean, I got plenty of gay friends. At the end of the day, I don't care. I don't care if you lay down with an elephant. As long as it don't affect me, I don't care.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I think that I prefer not an elephant. But you know, the Bible speaks about bestiality, but I think that, that the kids, you guys got to see that I practiced what I have preached to y'. All. And you know, we were on the, on the phone today talking to Dustin who was another guy that was in our, in our pod.
Grayson Chrisley
And Dustin's funny.
Todd Chrisley
And Dustin's funny. I'll have him on. He'll be another one that you get to interview. But I think that you brought a harmony to every situation because you're very soft spoken. And how tall are you?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Six three.
Todd Chrisley
Six three?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Grayson Chrisley
You're taller than that?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Well, I might be six four, but I was, the doctors always told me I was 6 3.
Todd Chrisley
So, you know, you're kind of the gentle giant.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And you know, when you came in our room, the spirit changed. The feeling in everyone's spirit change.
Grayson Chrisley
He's always uplifting and he's not negative and glass half empty.
Todd Chrisley
That's exactly right. Because you don't live your life that way.
Terrence Price Chrisley
No.
Todd Chrisley
And you know, you come. You grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
A very small rural town.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
So it was hard to grow up there, I'm assuming, as when you were as a gay young man.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Right.

Todd Chrisley
And I think that in that conversation today with Dustin, Dustin even said, he said, man, I feel like that we've got a bond that will last us a lifetime forever. And I said, when you have to sit and share your food with someone
Grayson Chrisley
that brings you closer together, you can't get much closer.
Todd Chrisley
No, no. And I feel like that you always shared everything that you had with people.
Grayson Chrisley
I mean, in all three, all were with each other through the worst part of your life.
Todd Chrisley
Yes, yes. And. And it wasn't just us, because it was me and you and Tanner and Melvin and Dustin and. Give me the numbers. Dwayne. Dwayne.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And saying.
Todd Chrisley
And Chang. And, you know, we had a little bit of time. Pie. We had. We had someone. Someone from every nationality.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
And helped me in so many ways because, you know, when I was growing up, my mother didn't have me around other men. She didn't have my brother around other men. We were raised with a strong female woman or a strong woman, but who surrounded us with more females. You know, my aunts on her side and on my dad's side. And it was the first time that I had ever had that camaraderie. And, you know, we've talked about that, you know, for several years now, but it was the first time that I had had that brotherhood.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And I'm so grateful to God for that because I love my people.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
I love my.
Grayson Chrisley
I mean, and before he went in, he didn't. He didn't have friends. I just by choice, people that he talked to every now and then. But he didn't go hang out with nobody.
Todd Chrisley
No. I've always. I've had Jay forever, and. But Jay was really about the only one that I talked to all the time. But. And I have Stephanie. Let me be very clear, folks, on this podcast, because my friend Stephanie is going to be somewhat salty because she and Terrence compete for who matters most in this family.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Stephanie, I'm on your heels.
Todd Chrisley
Cause you know what he said about Stephanie? He said, stephanie's your best friend, but I'm family.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
And. And you identify as a Christly. And he used to say when they. When they'd be their guards and stuff would be coming down there, and they'd say, terrence Price. He said, that's Terence Price, Chrisley. And he'd say, what's wrong with them. They know I'm a Chrisley. But, you know, that camaraderie is a blessing that everyone should be able to have and experience. And so from that aspect, I'm grateful to you because, you know, I love you with all my heart and soul, and you have been such a wonderful addition to our family and to my children's lives, to Julie's life, to my mother, who loves you dearly. You know, we have been very blessed. And. But what other questions do you have? Because, I mean, you've touched on that you had on your list last night. You know, how did my dad interact with the staff?
Grayson Chrisley
Oh, sure, I can guess how that went. But how did he interact with them?
Terrence Price Chrisley
He held them to a standard. Todd background comes from polys and procedures, so he's gonna go by the book. If you got this in your book and you supposed to be doing this, then he gonna show you this is what you supposed to be doing.
Grayson Chrisley
I mean, you know, I like to compare everything to sports.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Okay.
Grayson Chrisley
But it's like the old Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. He just always said, do your job.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Grayson Chrisley
If you do your job and you do what you're supposed to do, you'll be fine.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Grayson Chrisley
But when you're not doing your job, that's when the issues start coming.
Todd Chrisley
And I think that, you know, we dealt with a lot of racist.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
Staff members there.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, we did.
Todd Chrisley
And when I would see. Well, what would happen when I. When I was witness to that, anybody
Terrence Price Chrisley
that was done wrong, your dad stood up for him. It was this one kid couldn't get his mental meds. Your daddy said, oh, hell no. I'm finna go up here right now. And the next day, your dad saw him, he said, you get your medicine? Yes, sir, I got it. Thank you. You know, anybody that was mistreated, any color, any race, it don't matter. Underdog, overdog. If they supposed to be doing something for the inmate, your dad made sure it got handled.
Todd Chrisley
You know, I remember that kid. I know which one you're talking about. He was the one that suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes. And he needed his meds.
Todd Chrisley
And he needed his meds. And he was crying that day. And I asked him what was wrong, and he told me, and I said, you'll have them tomorrow. And I went up and got on that phone, called your sister, and then I went to the medical department I spoke to.
Grayson Chrisley
I bet they hate Savannah.
Todd Chrisley
Listen, they hated. They hated any name. It had started with a C. But I remember going up there and it was Mr. Seal, and it was Ms. Walker and that little drawed up, prone looking little thing that claimed he was a doctor that wore that little jumpsuit thing all the time.
Grayson Chrisley
Yeah.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And.
Todd Chrisley
And I told him, I said, if this kid doesn't have his meds tomorrow, I said, I give you my word. I said, unless God cuts me off tonight, in mid breath tomorrow, I will wreak hell on this place. And he said, are you threatening me? I said, no, sir.
Progressive Insurance Announcer
Threat?
Grayson Chrisley
It's a promise.
Todd Chrisley
What did I say?
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's exactly what he said.
Todd Chrisley
No, sir. I said. I would encourage you, I says, to look up the definition of a threat versus a promise. I'm promising you, if this kid doesn't get the help that he's supposed to get, I will rain hell on this facility.
Grayson Chrisley
He did it anyway.
Todd Chrisley
And then. And the next day that kid got his medicine.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He sure did.
Grayson Chrisley
And see, they just do petty like
Todd Chrisley
just to mess with you.
Grayson Chrisley
It's just minor inconvenience. Not even minor. Just inconveniencing people just to be an.
Todd Chrisley
But it's because they're evil too. Yeah, they're lazy and evil. If they see an entrance into where they can hurt someone, they take it.
Grayson Chrisley
I've never understood people that did stuff for the sole purpose of just trying to hurt somebody.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, well, you got them out there, Grayson.
Todd Chrisley
Every day.
Grayson Chrisley
Trust me, I know.
Todd Chrisley
And most of them were employed by the BOP at Pensacola.
Grayson Chrisley
Not anymore.
Todd Chrisley
No, not anymore. Because it has been closed down. And now the facility that my wife was held in in Lexington, it was closed down yesterday. So I will say kudos to Director William K. Marshall. Because he has stayed committed and true to what he said he was going to do. And that was to clean it up. And he is cleaning it up every day.
Grayson Chrisley
Of the few people actually does, they say they're going to do.
Todd Chrisley
Exactly. And so you know, we walked every day.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, we did.
Todd Chrisley
And tell them why I made you walk.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Well, when I came to prison, I was £283. So your dad said, terrence, you gotta get some of that weight off you. Plus I was suffering from high blood pressure. And he was like, we gonna walk. I'm gonna walk with you. I said, okay, I'll walk.
Grayson Chrisley
I'll walk you to death.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, he walks super duper fast. Like I'm a speed walker. He speed walking. I had to jog to keep up with him. Cause he be moving and talking at the same time.
Grayson Chrisley
Oh, that's what he's done my whole life. Walking and talking on the Phone.
Terrence Price Chrisley
So he would talk about y' all and. And what he's been through in life. And I would share with him what I've been through in life. And before you know it, we've been walked by 20 laps.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Or more.
Todd Chrisley
And let me tell you something. All of that one group of people that was talking about you for being gay. Terrence took over ownership of that facility because so many people loved him. And then what started out as just me and Terrence and one other walking ended up being a whole crew. A whole crew that was out there walking every day. And they would say, man, I love you, Terrence T. I love you.
Grayson Chrisley
Well, I even became friends with some of the people through, like, the visiting room, right?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Grayson Chrisley
Like Dustin. Every time I'd walk in, I'd see Dustin. I'd walk up to him, and he'd shake my hand. I'd be like, what's up?
Todd Chrisley
Right?
Grayson Chrisley
And I'd be talking to people, waving at people.
Todd Chrisley
And so, you know, I think that, you know, what a lot of you don't know is that Terrence gave me a title of being the hardest working man in the bop.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, he was the hardest working man in the bop. Gracer. I told people when they would come to the room trying to get Todd to do something for them. I said, leave him alone. He's trying to take down the bop. Leave him alone. Nobody believed me, but yet Pensacola is closed. Cause this man shut him down.
Grayson Chrisley
It didn't take him very long.
Terrence Price Chrisley
No, it didn't take him long at all. And he. And he stood by on what he. What he said. He delivered what he said he was going to do. And he gave them fair warning.
Grayson Chrisley
If he says he's going to do something, he's going to do it.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He told every staff member what he was doing and how he was going to do it. They didn't believe him. But now they're home.
Grayson Chrisley
Now look at him.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Now there were no job.
Terrence Price Chrisley
No job.
Todd Chrisley
And, you know, they would come in there and. But what people don't realize is that I. No one man does this on their own. Hey, they have to have an assistant.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And I was that assistant. Grace.
Todd Chrisley
I would say to him, I'd say, terrence, scan these documents and get them to Savannah. And Terence will be able to scan the documents.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And then I'm talking about a thousand pages. Disgrace.
Todd Chrisley
But here's the thing. The staff members would give me the. All this information, and then I had to get it out.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And so Terence, at night, was scanning documents for me. Getting it sent to Savannah and this old ratchet stanking funky synthetic wig wearing dyke Sherry funky ass Salisbury.
Grayson Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, she was going. It was her goal to break me. Yeah, she was going to break me.
Grayson Chrisley
Her and her Fuchi.
Todd Chrisley
Yes. And her interview.
Terrence Price Chrisley
So she Gucci. So she thought.
Todd Chrisley
Don't you remember when she called me up there to that sis and said that she was offended that she had read so much about my fashion sense and all that? And then I didn't comment on her Gucci belt.
Terrence Price Chrisley
On her Gucci belt. Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And what did I tell her?
Terrence Price Chrisley
I didn't. Cause it's not real.
Todd Chrisley
I said. I did not. I said, because it's a knockoff. My belt is not a knockoff. I said, yes sweetie, it is. I said it is. And I said, but you are wearing Cole Haan.

So at any rate, her goal was to break me. But the only way she knew that or thought she could get to me was by my friends. So literally, when the heat was coming down and Savannah was bringing so much Heat there. She made the decision. She and Big Funky Stanking. And y' all gonna see them in my animated series, Captain Big Stealing Ranch Stealing Bitch.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And who had breath that would melt your steel's ranch? A big fat funky. Yeah, a big fat funky like him.
Grayson Chrisley
I don't understand that.
Todd Chrisley
And we're going to tell that story in a minute, y', all, about the Ranch Bandit. But she thought she was going to break me. If she could get my friends away from me and leave me by myself, that. That would make me feel so empty that I would just stop what I was doing. So I come in one night in the chapel, and Terrence is sitting there and all my buddies are in the room. And they said, our name's on the list to be shipped tomorrow.
Grayson Chrisley
All of them?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
Took five.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And put them all on a bus and made them go through transit. She did the whole time trying to get them to tell on me as to how I was getting this information and how many told it.
Terrence Price Chrisley
None.
Progressive Insurance Announcer
Zero.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Zero.
Todd Chrisley
Because I picked the right people.
Grayson Chrisley
I would. I would have paid to be on a fly on the wall. When they tried to get him and Dustin to sn.
Todd Chrisley
Oh, please. They called him up. There ain't no telling. They called Terence up there and said, if you want to tell us how Chrisley's doing, get this information out. He goes, I don't know what you're talking about.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I ain't seen Crisley do nothing. I ain't seen no phone.
Grayson Chrisley
You should have said, who?
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, they asked. They said, we know Chris's got a phone. Do you ever see him using? He goes, no, I never seen him with a phone. We know that he's got a phone. We have other. Other informants that have told us he's on a phone. Every night you're in the room with him and you don't see a phone. I'm thinking to myself, he was on his.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Okay. Scanning documents. You know, we had to ride to work, like two hours there and two
Todd Chrisley
hours back in a hot ass bus with no air.
Terrence Price Chrisley
So it would be three officers out there. So they would always ask me about Creasley. So which one of y'?
Progressive Insurance Announcer
All?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Chrisley, best friend? I said, me. I'm his friend. What is he doing out there? I said, taking y' all down.
Todd Chrisley
And then, you know. Cause we had a nasty ass, thieving Rogan Eaton, who was out there stealing them blind, robbing them, robbing them blind. And then they wanted to blame you for taking a picture out there. And it wasn't even you that took the picture. It was a staff member that took the picture. It's into Savannah and sent to Savannah about them bringing those dirty sheets in the hospital and not washing them.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Right.
Grayson Chrisley
And, well, weren't they stealing tide pods, too?
Todd Chrisley
They stole everything.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
If. If a woman's tits was laid on the desk, they would have gone home with somebody else, but they. Because you were my friend, you got targeted.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, I have. I got targeted. I lost my job, actually, because I was friends with Todd, but did a
Grayson Chrisley
part of you know that was gonna happen? Oh, did you assume it was gonna happen?
Todd Chrisley
We knew. We knew.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I didn't care, you know? And they moved me to dz. I had a. I was working HR and dz, and they said, he can't work in the office because he's friends with Todd Chrisley. Then they moved me somewhere else.
Todd Chrisley
To recycling.
Terrence Price Chrisley
To recycling. Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And gave him a truck to drive.
Grayson Chrisley
They want to take you away from him.
Todd Chrisley
A truck to drive. After telling him he couldn't be in the office for fear he would be able to get more documents to me.
Terrence Price Chrisley
But I could ride around the whole
Todd Chrisley
company in a truck and go to Kohl's and go to everywhere else and get whatever the hell I needed.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep. That's right.
Todd Chrisley
And want to blame Terrence for bringing me in food and hell. So who brought my food in?
Terrence Price Chrisley
The CEO staff?
Todd Chrisley
The staff did. Staff did.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And would bring my food and give me their cash app to make sure that I got the money sent to them.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
So, I mean, it's the craziest. It's insane.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
At the stuff that we. That we went through. But again, It was a great. Let me rephrase it. It was an experience that I would not trade, because I know that that experience led me to my purpose, and I know that when I go to bed at night and I lay my head down, that I am good with my God.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He is pleased.
Todd Chrisley
Yes. And I know you used to say, job well done. You would say to me, job well done, my loyal and faithful servant. And we were talking today, I think, at lunch, and I remember Griffin, who worked in the chow hall.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
Said to me, I have watched you move, and this is a CEO. He said, I have watched you move. And he said, you would have been fine no matter where you went. He said, because you would have ran your car. You made me come back saying, do you know what a car and tears.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Huh?
Todd Chrisley
I said something about running cars, and he said, baby, who talking to you about running cars? And he said, that means the black car, the white car, the Puerto Rican car, the Mexican car. And I said, well, Griffin said that I would have ran every one of them because I. Because I'm friends with everybody.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Y.
Todd Chrisley
And I. I had that blessing. I never had a cross word, except for that. A Lion ass Singer. But that. I never had a crossword.
Grayson Chrisley
I needed the smacked out of him.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah. And he was going to get it that day.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, Just.
Grayson Chrisley
Just like we were talking about at lunch. I just imagine them running down that hallway.
Todd Chrisley
Tell that story, Terrence.
Terrence Price Chrisley
So he. Singer said something about sassy Rick Sanger,
Todd Chrisley
who was the College Gate Scandal, College Blues.
Grayson Chrisley
And didn't he.
Todd Chrisley
Varsity Blues Scandal.
Grayson Chrisley
Didn't he snitch on everybody, Becky to prison. Oh, he folded like a cheap suit, right?
Terrence Price Chrisley
He gonna do that. So anyway, he was talking shit, and then he wanted to say something about assassin. Your dad came unglued. We weren't around when he went to confront the man, so.
Todd Chrisley
Cause I don't need no help. I'll take care of my own business.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He sure will. So word came back. Y' all come see about Todd. He about to fight. What the hell going on? What? What? Who? And so we all get up and run down there. Todd didn't need no help. He cornered Singer off and told him what he would do to him. Rip his head off his shoulder and shit down his neck. That's what he told him.
Grayson Chrisley
And didn't you say, put that in your book?
Progressive Insurance Announcer
I did.
Todd Chrisley
I said, and you make sure you put this in your book. You gossiping?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Grayson Chrisley
Then, Dustin, look at you. He don't need no help.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He don't need no help. He good.
Todd Chrisley
Doesn't say he good. Y' all leave him alone. Chris. Got it.
Grayson Chrisley
It's a lot funnier to me because I can't imagine it.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Your dad.
Grayson Chrisley
Because I've seen him get that pissed off before.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Grayson Chrisley
And I know his face lit. Lit up red, and he was shaking, and
Todd Chrisley
it was. But that's the only altercation that I had.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, that's the only way you hit.
Todd Chrisley
I mean, I worked out every day. Sometimes twice a day. We did our walk. I read, I sat in the chapel. Did no work. I did sit in the chapel every day, you know, And I think the Lord put me in that position because that allowed me to work, to take the bop down every day. But I sat in that chapel, watched my movies or watched the TV until funky ass ratchet wig wearing, broke, owes everybody. Salisbury came over there and took my TV because she thought that was going to stop me. It didn't. Facilities brought me another tv. But, you know, I look back on some of this staff and, you know, we did have a couple that were good.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, we did a few.
Todd Chrisley
And then we had the ones that were bad, that were really bad, like Brian Church.
Grayson Chrisley
The ones I couldn't stand were those twins.
Todd Chrisley
Oh, you know, dumb and dumber, ugly and uglier.
Grayson Chrisley
And they are two of the ugliest people I have ever seen. And can you imagine those poor parents?
Todd Chrisley
Yeah. Not getting.
Grayson Chrisley
You get twins and both of them are fugly.
Todd Chrisley
They were not twins. They were just two ugly brothers.
Grayson Chrisley
So they messed it up two different times.
Todd Chrisley
If I'd have had one first and it looked like that I didn't have a warning sign, there'd have been no second.
Grayson Chrisley
People like that shouldn't be able to reproduce.
Todd Chrisley
What was their name? The Plues brothers. That's it. Yeah, that was an ugly bunch. Yeah, we did have an ugly bunch
Grayson Chrisley
of people that looks like they could eat corn through a fence.
Todd Chrisley
They were. They were rough. We. And then you had Brian Church with that long hair, looking like a Ricky Bobby wannabe. And he walked like somebody. Like he done. They had done beat his ass down like he'd been giving that ass up forever. And he had come signing down through there.
Grayson Chrisley
It looks like he was pocket pulling.
Todd Chrisley
Somebody done pulled his pocket with them
Terrence Price Chrisley
big ass ugly ass shades on right in the building to do camp.
Todd Chrisley
And he'd come in and he had twist and walk out and walk out. I said, he wants to talk about Terrence and he wants to talk about Terrence.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Okay.
Grayson Chrisley
The only person I liked was that older lady, Mr. Vaughn.
Todd Chrisley
Mr. Vaughn. Now, Grayson, how you doing?
Grayson Chrisley
That's what she always said.
Todd Chrisley
Chrisley, what you doing now? You better be good over there. I'm watching you. Chrisley.
Terrence Price Chrisley
She overheard nanny saying, todd, I tried to text you. She understand.
Todd Chrisley
And then Mr. Bond, she said, mm, Nanny, you don't text him. You know he can't have no phone.
Terrence Price Chrisley
But in.
Todd Chrisley
I meant email. She said, I know you did, nanny. I know you did.
Terrence Price Chrisley
But in nanny defense, the app is like a text message, right? So you're not on an actual computer or laptop talking to your loved ones. You actually like texting them. So, you know your dad would email y' all every morning. So I would walk to the computer with him at every evening to check the emails.
Grayson Chrisley
Every morning, every night.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, so. And your dad said, I don't know what the I'm gonna do about mama. Talking about some Todd. I Got your text message.
Todd Chrisley
And Ms. Savant Standing, who I worship.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
I love her so much. She's the sweetest soul.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And she goes crazy. You know, you can't be texting nanny. And I. I said, she's talking about email. She doesn't know the difference. Ah, Nanny. You know, you can't be email. You can't be texting him now. He can't have no phone. And I looked and I said, but they all knew I had phones.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Grayson Chrisley
Well, we went to visiting one time. And you know how sometimes they would screw with you and make you wait for 30, 45 minutes until they finally came out? Well, I was just pacing along, walking along the fence right there by, like, where y' all would walk down the pat path. And I heard one of the guards say, chrisley, what took you so long? And dad said, sorry, I was putting my phone away.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And he was.
Progressive Insurance Announcer
And.
Todd Chrisley
And they would look at me and be like, what are you doing?
Terrence Price Chrisley
He said.
Grayson Chrisley
He said, don't tell me that.
Todd Chrisley
He said, why would you tell me? Yeah. He goes, why would you tell me that? I said, because you already know it.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And besides, I think you've already had a cash app for me. But it was, you know, Ms. Avant was wonderful. Ms. E was wonderful. Ms. Gamble was good to me. Chaplin Dixon was wonderful.
Grayson Chrisley
Evening.
Todd Chrisley

Todd Chrisley
You know, Kennedy was good. I mean, here she was on the payroll.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And acting all new when I went down there and spoke to close it down. The last RDAP program. Right. And she showed her ass. Why would she do that knowing all the shit she did with us?
Terrence Price Chrisley
All the shit. I mean, you can't make this up.
Todd Chrisley
Grace, tell him. Would she not do anything that I need?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Anything the pot or Todd needed. It was handled.
Todd Chrisley
And then go show her.
Grayson Chrisley
She's mad because you closed the place down and everybody got their pink slips.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, but my thing was, I just talked to her, so I'm like. I'm thinking, why is. Oh, she's doing this? Because they're on to her. They're thinking she was the one that was giving me all this information. So she's trying to put this front up, but then she goes and puts that on that Facebook. I'm like, what she put on Facebook? Oh, my God. That. That. That she's going to eventually get her time to talk and say everything she needs to say along with everyone else. How dare you allow him to come down here and speak at the RDAP program and run. Rub him in our face, knowing that he closed the place, that he did all this to the staff, and you
Grayson Chrisley
shouldn't have been doing what you were doing. That got it close.
Todd Chrisley
Exactly.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Exactly. Gray.
Todd Chrisley
And so when she put all that. I said, sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. Now, you know that you have been employed by me last 18 months.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
So I'm not quite sure why you want to put this smoke screen up, but. Don't make me pull out receipts.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He had them.
Todd Chrisley
Don't make me pull out receipts and don't make me pull out recordings, because I did own a pen.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And she would stop us when we go into the phone on her way, because around the four, after the four o' clock camp, you know, she would be getting off, and your dad would call y' all every evening at the 4. I don't know which one he called, but come on, let's go to the phone. Cause we didn't go to the child hall.
Todd Chrisley
I never ate one time in that childhood.
Grayson Chrisley
I know.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Mm. Mm. So we went to use the phone, and she Would stop. Stop him in the parking lot and come over there and talk to him. And I would keep going because I didn't want to know nothing, you know, So I would meet up at the phone booth, and he would tell me stuff.
Todd Chrisley
And, I mean, it was so crazy that she did that, because you would have still had a job if you'd have just shut up.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, yeah. Cause you weren't gonna tell it.
Todd Chrisley
I didn't tell all. None of them until they started talking. And I still ain't told all my good. You're safe. I never told on anyone. No, I mean, literally, they remember that time they called me up there and asked me. It was. What was his name? He was the one with stealing from the bop. And they made him a case, a counselor. It was Captain How. Holly. Captain Holly. He called me up there that when I first, you know, I'd been in maybe a couple of weeks. And he goes, Mr. Chrisley said, I'm Captain Holly. He says, first of all, let me apologize. He said, I'd been meaning to come and meet you. He says, but, you know, I did want to introduce myself to you. And he said, and, you know, kind of just kind of go over a few things. He said, are you doing okay? And I said, I'm fine, thank you. And he said, is anyone bothering you? I said, no, sir. And he said, well, listen, you're going to see a lot of things here. And he said, I would ask you to get involved in nothing. He said, the biggest problem we have here is cell phones. Now, keep in mind, I already had two at this point. And he said, you know, the biggest problem is cell phones. And, you know, I would encourage you to not get involved in that. Do not participate in that. Don't. Don't be using a file.
Grayson Chrisley
This shows how worthless that they are. Because most people are trying to figure out their problems. They know their issues, and they still can't fix it.
Todd Chrisley
Not. It's not. They know the issues because they are. They are the issue.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
That's how we got our phones. And so he said, now, have you seen anyone with the phone? And I said, no, sir. And he looked. He went lean back in his chair, and he smiled. He said. He said, no. He said, have you seen a phone? I said, a phone? He said, yeah. I said, yeah, I've seen phones. He said, since you've been here? And I said, oh, no. I mean, at home. I mean, you know, whatever. And he goes, no. I mean, have you seen anyone using a cell phone here? And I said, no. And he said, would you remember this? He said, would you tell me if you did what? I tell him?
Terrence Price Chrisley
No.
Todd Chrisley
I said, no. And he smiled. He said, well, at least we know where each other stands. And he, in his defense, he never screwed with me.
Terrence Price Chrisley
No.
Todd Chrisley
From, you know, from that point on, because I think there was a level of respect there. Now, I mean, I didn't know I was dealing with a thief at the time because, I mean, he was in there patent damn payroll and saying he was there working when he wasn't and stole thousands of dollars from the Bureau. And then when he got caught, typical Bop fashion, they don't.
Grayson Chrisley
They don't fire.
Todd Chrisley
They move you. They move you. They move the problem to a different location. So they moved him as a counselor.
Grayson Chrisley
Well, and then you're just spreading the problem.
Todd Chrisley
That's it. That's it. Well, you get it. But you're a lot smarter than the, Than just about any CEO. But, you know, we, you know, and then I fought with the Medina.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah. Oh, my God.
Todd Chrisley
Because, because he was a hardcore racist.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, he was.
Todd Chrisley
And remember, he tried and he hurt Melvin's feelings about that clock because Melvin was one minute late to pick up his laundry.
Terrence Price Chrisley
And God forbid, because Melvin loved his job, he probably was helping somebody in
Todd Chrisley
the chapel, working with the chaplain. He was working, and he go, Mr. Williams, now keep in mind, Medina was this big. He was this big. I could put him in my pocket. That's why I called him Pocket Pal. And he said, Mr. Williams, do you know what a clock is? He said, sir. He said, do you know what a clock is? He said, yes, sir. He said, you see that one up there? He said, yes. He said, what time does it say? And so Melvin told me, it's one minute late. And he said, and what time's that notice say on that door? He said, so you liked. He said, it's one minute later, I was in the chapel helping the chaplain. He said, I don't care. This is my facility. I run this. You are one.
Grayson Chrisley
What's his facility now?
Todd Chrisley
Right? He said, clothes, Right. And he said, you are one minute late, so you will not get your. Your belongings. And Melvin never complained and told on nobody. And he come walking back down there and do you remember that day?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And was standing so shaken by that.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And I said, what's wrong? And he told me what I do.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Went right down there and got me of my clothes, come back with him on his back.
Todd Chrisley
I come walking back, I went back, went up here, and I said, I need Melvin Williams Two bags of laundry. And I said, if you with me in that one damn minute, I says, I promise you, I says, there will be hell to pay. I said, your abuse is not going to continue. I need his bags. And you couldn't pick up another inmate's bags? No, but they gave me Melvin's. And I come walking in and Melvin looked at me and turned around, looked at by the pod. He said, this joker ain't. He ain't to be messed with. He said, they give you my stuff? I said, no, Melvin. I broke in and took it. He said, what the hell? And then he then Medina, because he was such an abusive person. But that's because he's so tired.
Grayson Chrisley
Because he had a Napoleon.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah. He's so tiny, he'd have to get a step stolen. Screw his wife. And he was just so abusive to everyone and had been accused, and I say accused of stealing commissary blind. And they pulled him out of there and put him over in laundry rather than to fire him.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And so when I got him in trouble, he then started doing his rounds. And if he caught you with more than two blankets. Two blankets. You got a write up. If he caught you with more than two sheets, you got to write it. I had six sets of sheets, six sets of blankets. They were. All my stuff came from the spa.
Terrence Price Chrisley
It sure did.
Todd Chrisley
I had spa sheets. I had a mattress pad cover. And then all of my stuff was laundered outside with fragrance. And so he would come and. But I was so good to everyone.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
That when they was moving on that compound, they. Whoever was in that. Let's just say it was laundry. Was going to do a shakedown. Laundry would send somebody out of that group and say, get to a dorm and get to Christy and let him know that Medina's coming.
Terrence Price Chrisley
He's on his way.
Todd Chrisley
And then come and tell me. And I'd walk in, I'd say, midgets coming to shake down. Get your shit here.
Progressive Insurance Announcer
Yeah.
Terrence Price Chrisley
But Todd kept his stuff in rotation, so he really didn't have all the blankets on him at one time. No way. He would have a set washing. And he'll send this change of sheets. And every other.
Todd Chrisley
Every other day.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Every other day he changed his bed.
Todd Chrisley
My bed was changed every other day.
Terrence Price Chrisley
So his. His bedding would be in laundry.
Todd Chrisley
So you really catching me with nothing anyway.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Right. Right.
Todd Chrisley
And it was a. He was a bad. He was a bad egg. And then who was the little trike dyke, that one that was running the commissary P. Ms. P. O Ms. Pio. Ms. Pierre, I'm going to tell you right now, no one, the BOP can be sued for a lot of shit, but it will never be sued for lack of diversity. Because if you want to work for the BOP and you a dyke job
Terrence Price Chrisley
at the bop, I got you.
Todd Chrisley
You will get a job at the bop.
Grayson Chrisley
Gotta hit the quota.
Todd Chrisley
You gotta hit the quote. And here's the thing. It's like a triple bogo for them, you know, female, gay, minority. That's what you have, a piano. She was, I think, Hispanic, Puerto Rican or whatever. Female and a lesbian. So they got to check the quota. They got to check three boxes off.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And remember that bad snowstorm down there then?
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And, you know, my stuff was up there in my laundry. And I went up there and she said, chrisley, laundry is closed. Everyone's going home for a snowstorm. I said, not everyone. 337 men here are not going home for the snowstorm. But I need my shit. And she goes, you should have been. I said, I don't travel in the snow. I need my shit. And she said, well, I'm not doing it. I said, okay, then I'm going to tell on you. I marched my ass right up to that damn control room, told that she was over there, wouldn't give me my shit. They radioed her and said, open up the laundry and give Chris Lee his shit.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yep.
Todd Chrisley
And so I went back over. She goes, you think because you went and told on me, that's why I'm doing this? I said, that's exactly why you're doing it.
Grayson Chrisley
Because you're being forced to do this.
Todd Chrisley
Right. That's exactly why you're doing it. You Clint Tripping Shepherd. So at the end of the day, I got my. Sure, but Terrence, listen.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, sir.
Todd Chrisley
I love you.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I love you.
Todd Chrisley
I'm glad and proud that we're friends. I'm glad that you're part of the family and. And the world needs to know you are a Chrisley.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yes, I'm a Christly world.
Todd Chrisley
And. And I am grateful for that. And I thank you from driving all the way. Folks, he drove all the way from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, last night to bring us Smith.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Smith county watermelons, which I had never
Todd Chrisley
had this before, and go ahead and tell. That story today that you told to me, I didn't understand because I never understand half of what the hell he says.
Terrence Price Chrisley
I brought him Smith county watermelons. And I said, well, Todd, I got you two meat. Two. Two yellow meats. And the rest is red. What are you talking about? I said, todd, the inside of the watermelon is yellow. And they're sweeter. They're sweeter than the red ones. So I want you to take the opportunity to enjoy your yellow meat whenever
Todd Chrisley
you eat yellow meat. I've never heard of someone to say that the inside of a watermelon is meat. I never heard that. And I made him stop. I said, terrence, I don't understand what you're saying. Repeat it again. And I had him on speaker in the kitchen. And, folks, no one in my family knew what he was saying. My mother's making a cup of coffee. And she said, oh, God. They said, dumb. Terrence. Todd, that's the inside of the watermelon. Yellow meat or red meat? I just looked at your nanny, and do you know that I Googled that shit? And it literally says. That's what it says. So I apologize. I was the ignorant one, not you. And. But, you know, you drove all this way to bring those. I woke up this morning, had a text. You had text? Julie, he had driven all night, got a hotel room, never called us to ask us could he stay at the house. You know, we knew nothing until you were here this morning.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
And so then I finally text. And I said, louise Dale called him. And I said, louise Dale, you know that it's too early for me to be up. And he said, I know, Mary. That's why I didn't call you. And he said. I said, where are you? And he said, I'm at this hotel. And I said, why did you come to Nashville? And when did you come? I drove all night. I got me a room, and I washed the road off. I said, you what? He said, I washed the road off. I've never heard anyone say, I've washed the road off.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Yeah, you got to take a shower to wash the road off.
Todd Chrisley
And so he said, I want to bring you these. Bring you all these watermelons and. And a Starbucks to get your day started. And I said, terence, you don't have to bring us anything. He said, I know, but I'm here. And I brought. And I said, give me 30 minutes to put my face on. And so I got up, got in the shower, got dressed. Your mama got in the shower. Mama was still walking around in her gown when he got there. And so then Terrence ends up going with me and Grayson to work out today. And so we had a good workout.
Terrence Price Chrisley
We did.
Todd Chrisley
Then we went and had lunch.
Terrence Price Chrisley
We did.
Todd Chrisley
And then we've hung out all day. Yes, we've done the podcast which is going to be a two parter. So y' all tune in. Not just this first part, you got to tune into the second part to get all of the fabulousness of Terence Price. So again, thank you Terrence. I am so sorry folks. Terrence Price, Christmas.
Terrence Price Chrisley
That's right.
Todd Chrisley
So that being said, Terrence, I thank you and I love you.
Terrence Price Chrisley
Love you too.
Todd Chrisley

Podcast: Two Sons and Me
Host: Todd Chrisley, joined by Grayson & "Chase" (actually Terrence Price Chrisley in this episode)
Release Date: July 3, 2026
In this candid, lively, and often hilarious episode, Todd Chrisley and his son Grayson welcome close friend Terrence Price Chrisley—affectionately dubbed "the newest Chrisley"—for the first of a two-part conversation. The discussion is an unfiltered look at Todd’s time at the Pensacola prison camp, the unique found-family bonds forged there, and how Terrence became an essential member of the Chrisley family. From untold stories about camaraderie, to real talk about standing up to injustice, to favorite family one-liners, the episode blends heart and humor with the rawness fans expect from the Chrisleys.
| Segment | Topic | Timestamps | |---------|-------|------------| | Opening Introductions | How & why Terrence is on the show | 01:02–02:33 | | Meeting in Prison, First Impressions | Terrence meets Todd, dorm arrangements | 04:00–08:45 | | Standing Up For Each Other | Todd’s advocacy for Terrence, dealing with bigotry | 08:22–10:28 | | Diversity and Brotherhood | Life in the pod, building camaraderie | 13:00–15:02 | | Exposing the System | Todd’s campaign inside, Terrence’s loyalty & help | 21:38–24:03 | | Loyalty Under Pressure | Attempts by staff to break their group, no one snitches | 26:30–27:15 | | Prison Humor & Absurdity | Watermelon story, Chrisley one-liners | 52:16–54:46 | | Reflections on Friendship and Family | Affirmations, gratitude, closing | 55:21–end |
The dialogue is frank, irreverent, and Southern-family-flavored—full of playful jabs, affectionate teasing, and unapologetic real talk. Moments of gravity about systemic racism and abuse intermingle with comic riffs and storytelling, reflecting both the hardships and the warmth of chosen kin.
This is part 1 of a two-part sit-down with Terrence. More stories and deeper dives into these relationships—and likely more laugh-out-loud moments—are expected in Part 2.
Takeaway:
This episode offers a uniquely intimate, borderlessly honest look into the Chrisley family’s post-headline reality: chosen family, advocacy, resilience, and above all—loyalty and laughter in even the darkest places.
