Now, I never had a problem with never. And mama did what I asked him to do.

Now as long as it was within reason. He did what I asked him to do. But he was lazy as hell. He did not make that nasty ass ratchet gentle act who was built like spongebob. He did not make her do her job.

None of those case managers was doing their jobs to get these men out. Ms. What was her name she left start with a B. Bertrand was the only good case manager that was there.

Yeah.

She was the only good Ms. Washington. You remember Ms. Washington. They put her in that spot without the proper training. With no training. And I told her, you remember that? I said, they're setting you up.

[Terrence Price]

Yep.

Young, black female, no edge. I said, no background in this. And they've given you no training. They're setting you up. I got it. I'm. I know what they do. And I got it. You, Ms. Washington, you didn't have you. I love you, but you didn't have.

She was nice.

Now, Lindsey Calm. Folks, let me just tell you something. Lindsay calm had as much testosterone as any man there. And I believe that she hung lower than most men there.

And she Only smoked a thousand packs

a day and wore them collared shirts like a man. And her wife worked in the mail room. But, folks, when I tell you this is the ugliest bunch of people, I mean, it was. And anyone that knows me knows ugly pisses him off. Yes, it really does, because I just. It's. It's distracting for me. You know that. And I was so distracted. And I would say to you, they'd walk by and I go, they can have no one in their family that gives a shit about them, because if they did, they would tell them, go, do something with that. And women wearing mullets. I'm like, what in the hell is going on? And then Lindsay Grayson. Lindsey Comb was the John Holmes of Pensacola. Hers was a baby's arm. That's how much testosterone she had. And make her way right over there to that chapel and tell me everything was going on. Tell me where all the problems was, where the black mole was providing the pictures that, you know, with all the black mole and all that stuff. And then go and say, I don't know where Chris is getting this stuff. Somebody needs to get a hold of Chris. I think he's got a phone or something.

[Terrence Price]

You want to phone.

[Chrisley]

You are the phone. Hell, you had lines of communication at, AT and T. Wish they had.

[Terrence Price]

So.

[Chrisley]

I mean, they all. And you know, this Ms. Bertrand, she was just a sweet woman who. Who did her job.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, he did.

[Chrisley]

But for the most part, the rest of them didn't do shit. They didn't do shit. And, you know, I remember. I won't never forget this.

[Interviewer]

They seem like they might have more job security than a news anchor.

[Chrisley]

Right? Yeah.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

I can tell you right now when he. When Terrence and Edgar, we call him no Neck for all the people out there, Grayson's going to get to interview no Neck. Edgar is Hispanic. He's Mexican, Right? He's Mexican. But God didn't give him no neck. God took. God was running out of necks that day. So he just stuck Edgar's head on his shoulders. And Edgar was the funniest human being.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, he was.

[Chrisley]

Could trust him to the ends of the earth. He wasn't telling.

[Terrence Price]

No.

[Chrisley]

But they took Edgar from me. They took Terence from me. They took Tanner from me. They took Dwayne. Dwayne ran all my numbers. Took Dwayne from me. Took Melvin from me.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And I'm laying in my bed one night, And I get a phone call, and it says, unknown. I'm like you, Todd. Don't answer unknowns, especially at camp, because you never knew. It could have been Sherry Cunt Face Salisbury. Then I get a text. It's Louise. That's what I call him. Louise. It's Louise. I called him immediately, and I said, oh, my God, you got a phone? He said, no, Nick had a phone waiting on us.

[Terrence Price]

He sure did. He should be.

[Chrisley]

And that's what people don't understand. The networking that these men and women create from the camaraderie that you build and the friendships that you build. So even though she took you away from us there at Pensacola, by the time you got to your next location, the phones were there.

[Terrence Price]

I was set up and ready to go.

[Chrisley]

Right. So I was so happy that I could talk to him every night and talk to Tanner and talk to all the rest of my friends. We were so happy with FaceTime. We was having a good little time. And when I got was able to see them all, I was like. I told him that. I said, y' all have given me the strength I need to finally take this bitch down.

[Terrence Price]

Sure did. And she did.

[Chrisley]

Sherry, Sherry, Sherry. You got booted.

[Interviewer]

What was your reaction to the pardon, like, when you found out?

[Terrence Price]

Well, I was. I had just come home, and I was so devastated because I wanted to meet Savannah down there, but I had to ugly ankle monitor on so I couldn't cross state lanes. I wanted to meet Savannah down there to get him. I'm like, yes, finally it happened. Cause, you know, we prayed about it. And I always felt in my spirit, I said, todd, you gonna get out of here before me?

[Chrisley]

He did. That was something you always say.

[Terrence Price]

I always told him that. He said, well, from your lips to God ears. And he said, and if I do, all I need is my cell phone and my laptop and you coming, too. I said, well, I really believe that you're gonna get out before me. But truth is, he got out 30 days after I did, so.

[Chrisley]

But look how God worked that. Now, that goes back to the scripture, where the scripture says, no weapon formed against you sh.

[Terrence Price]

Husband. That's right.

[Chrisley]

And God gives. Just tells you to suit up in your armor. Now, what Sherry Salisbury tried to do to us, what she tried to use to harm us, ended up coming back on her. So that grave that you did for someone else, you might better dig, too, for the one you dug for me might just end up being for you. So 30 days. Just think about that. He was home 30 days, and then I was pardoned. Just. Just wrap your head around that.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And I remember everyone the day that that pardon came down. And I walked through. Every one of those men down there was standing in a line for me to walk down through there. And they started yet chanting, chris Lee. Chris Lee. And you heard him say, don't forget us. Don't forget us. And I turned around, I said, you will never have to wor that. And, you know, because you're there with me, you know what I do every day, you know, because you have people calling you, telling you what I'm doing, I never have forgotten them. And I won't ever. I won't forget those that I've never met because I know that if I was there, I would know them.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

So it's literally because you have called me and said, I just want to tell you, you're doing the Lord's work. Because Todd, I get messages on Facebook every day from people saying, terrence, he's making a change. This one man is making a change. Because we're still inside. We see it. And I would say to you, I'd say, God bless them, let them know I've not forgotten, and I'm going to keep fighting until it's right.

[Terrence Price]

Yep, that's right.

[Chrisley]

And, you know, like, with Peewee, Peewee just left. And you told me the other day that he had posted on his Instagram.

[Terrence Price]

Sure did. And thanks to Todd Chrisley.

[Chrisley]

He posted thanks to Todd Chrisley. And I just think that as hard as it was to be away from you, and you know that it was because it just about destroyed me because there was not. There were very few days that I did not cry myself to sleep at night.

[Interviewer]

Well, I mean, what made it. I would say even. I don't know if you could have made it worse. But what made it worse was two weeks before the pardon. I think it was two weeks we thought it was going to happen. And then it was.

[Chrisley]

And you were devastated because I. I

[Interviewer]

never got my hopes up. Well, that time I did get my hopes up, because, I mean, we didn't just hear it from anybody. It was reliable people. So I got excited. I thought it was going to happen. And then nothing happened. And I was like, that's just another disappointment. Yeah.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And, you know, I just remember that day. And I remember, you know, coming back from the library and then the CEO comes in, walking down the sidewalk, because you know how they would always do to me. They go. They come looking for.

[Terrence Price]

And I don't know why they do that, because you did the same thing every day.

[Chrisley]

Every day they would come and say,

[Terrence Price]

where you.

[Chrisley]

Where have you been? And I'd said, some of my. So I went to Walmart, because How stupid is that?

[Interviewer]

Yeah, exactly.

[Chrisley]

They would come and say, well, where have you been? I said, walmart. Where do you think I am? And he was coming down through. Then I was walking back in the library, and he was right there. You know where the crosswalk is? You know, to cross over to Ador. He was right there. And he goes. I said. And he comes walking to him. He goes, you got to come with me. I said, what? Now? I know this crusty is up to something, talking about Salisbury. And he said. I said, what's this? I said, what's the doing now? He goes, start slapping. He goes, I ain't her. You've been pardoned. And I said, huh? And he said, you've been pardoned. I said, shut up. And he said, I know. You probably already know. He said, because you got. He said, we gonna get them phones. I just want you to tell us when you leave how you. How you did it. And I said, I swear to God, I did not know that. Well, you know that I didn't know it because y' all didn't know it until the moment that it happened. And y' all were kind of, what, Going into Sam's?

Going into Sam's.

[Chrisley]

And so he said, no, you have been pardoned, and we have been given notice from the White House to get to have eyes on you at all times.

And I said, okay. As I was walking in the back door, and they were looking at me because you're not. Let me tell you something. They ain't no place nosier than a camp.

[Terrence Price]

That's right.

And ain't no woman nosier than a man in a prison camp. And they were all sitting at their playing cards on them tables, and they're looking. They're like, oh, hell, Kristen, cuss somebody out. Because here this guards walk.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And so I walk in, and you know where the ice machine was? I took that right as I opened that door. Mama was coming down the hallway, cuz

[Terrence Price]

he had been looking for you.

[Chrisley]

And he's like. And I opened the door and he said, come to my office. And I went in his office and he said, you already know. I said, he said, I've been pardoned. And he goes, you have been pardoned. You didn't get just a pardon. You got a full and complete pardon. And I said, when we were on

[Interviewer]

the phone with him, he asked President Trump asked what it was. He said, is this a clemency or is it a pardon? And she said, right now it's just a clemency. And he said. He said, I want it to be the full thing.

[Chrisley]

And so when he said, no, you didn't just get a pardon. You got a full and complete pardon. It's as if it didn't happen. And I never forget it. I turned and looked at him, I said, y' all are.

[Terrence Price]

Cause we get home, get that.

[Chrisley]

Said, y' all are. And he said, you need to go start packing your stuff. And I said, I ain't packing shit. I'm giving all my stuff to these kids that don't have anything. And you know that I did. And you know I did. Because you was told.

[Interviewer]

But took Savannah margin. They didn't. They wouldn't let you out.

[Chrisley]

Well, that was. That was not. That was not Mama's fault. That was, I think, just someone in the bop, just in the central office not doing what they were supposed to be doing, because trust me, there was no guard or no staff member at Pensacola that did not want me out.

[Interviewer]

Didn't Savannah march up to the front gate?

[Chrisley]

Savannah went to the front gate. She had already called her house.

[Interviewer]

Her bright pink MAGA jacket and her bright pink MAGA hat.

[Chrisley]

And I'm like, Jesus, Mary and Joseph. And she had a ponytail in that day, which was a bad ponytail. It was kind of reminiscent of kind of what Sherry Salzbay would have wore. It just wasn't a good. It wasn't a good look. It wasn't her best look.

[Terrence Price]

She took it off as soon as she got in. Got you in the car. Yes, because I'll face them.

[Chrisley]

Yeah. Told. I said, you need to snap that roadkill off the back of your head. I said, because I've been watching that with Sherry Salisbury for the last year. And. But that wasn't on Mama, because he said, when I went back and packed all my stuff and I was giving all my clothes and stuff away to the other kids and the food because I had four lockers.

[Interviewer]

Oh, I know.

[Chrisley]

And so I gave a locker to each one of those kids that didn't have anything. And mama called me back up there, and he goes, I'm trying. I just want you to see on this computer here. He said, we're waiting on it to be sent. He said, but we have to have that copy. I said, I'm good. I'm good. He said, well, you have to stay in here with me. I said, why? And he said, because we've had a phone call. The bureau has. The bureau called us and said, you are to keep eyes on him at all times, and there better not be one hair out of place. Well, now, of course, that wasn't going to happen because I had my Kevin Murphy paste brought in, so I had my hair fixed every day. And so I'm sitting there, and then he gets a phone call, and he goes, can you please call your daughter and tell her that I'm doing. I'm going as fast as I possibly can go. He said, she's having a press conference out here in front of the building. And I said, he said, can you call and tell her to stop? I said, I can't. You can. So he gets up and he walks out to where she's standing. He goes, hey. And she goes, hey. And she goes. He goes, I'm Mamala. And she goes, where's my daddy? He said, we're working. She said, I just got off the phone with the White House and the. And the new director. You should be getting a call in five minutes on the radio. They called him and said, you need to come to your office. You have a call. He had to go back to the office. And then he said, I'm standing there. And he goes, I. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. We've called everyone. And then about that time, what was little guy's name that was a case manager he came there from?

[Terrence Price]

I don't know. He was real short, like.

[Chrisley]

And the nicest guy. He was the nicest guy. He's in the video as I'm walking out.

[Terrence Price]

Okay, I don't. I. I don't remember.

[Chrisley]

He was a great case manager. And he was sitting. He goes up, it's here. And he said. And so about that time, it came on the radio and it said, it's time to roll. And so I. I'm looking, trying to look at all this stuff, and they go, you're having to go back out. You're having to go out the back. Your folks are now here to get you The Navy, the head of the Navy base has now come over with their security. They're unlocking the back gate. There's too much press out front to navigate through that. And it's a secure. It's become a security. Everything is a security issue. And so he said, it's a security issue. And I said, okay. So I'm walking out and all the guys are chanting and saying all the things you're saying. And it was me and mama and big old big headed Elmer Foot looking Dover, who's in the video as I'm walking out to. And then Soza with his punk ass. And then Brundage comes walking in when I'm in there. So I go in there with my notebook that had all my evidence in it. And they couldn't take it because I was a free man. And I had a pardon. And so I had all the evidence on them walking out the door with it.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And I had that phone in there, but I had already gone. I had one of my kids to go in and race because, you know, I don't know how to do shit technology. And so I had one of my kids to wipe it clean and take it back to factory settings and then take a screenshot of Sherry Salisbury's Facebook picture and make that the screensaver. So when I got ready to leave, I said, I want to give you something. I laid that bitch out and I said, you've been tearing these Dorms up for 18 months looking for this. That's what took you down. Got my shit and walked out. Yeah, that's how I did it.

[Terrence Price]

As a free man.

[Chrisley]

As a free man. And the day that I left, the very next day I started working on getting people out.

The very next day I started working. I started reporting. A week later I was in D.C. i was sitting down for meetings there. Then I was grateful to God when I got the invite to meet with the new, the new director of the Bureau of Prisons, William K. Marshall. And I knew when I sat down with him that things were going to change. And I've told you that. And he has, and he continues to make those changes. But you know, let's talk about Captain

And when we go to commissary, you get to. It's like you go into the grocery store, except you don't go to the grocery store and buy all out of date items. And when you do go to the grocery store, you expect to leave with what you went to the grocery store. To get to begin with. Well, that's not how it used to work in the bfp. It has gotten so much better. Thank you, Billy Marshall. But this one over here, a ranch dressing on everything. I don't give a damn. If it had been a Snickers bar, he was gonna put ranch dressing. And so he had smuggled him, had him a salad smuggled in. And he was coming back working that day. And he said, I was so looking forward to my salad and go ahead and tell the story.

[Terrence Price]

I wanted my salad so bad. I was so heated, Grayson. So I went down, I marched down to the computers. Cause we go down there to email every evening. So while Ty was emailing y', all, I was emailing my friend talking about what a pissed off day I had and how I was so upset that the captain took my wrench dressing for no reason. I was going to work. So I'm working two hours from here. I don't know why you in my locker anyway taking things. He said, somebody wouldn't package, right? How do you package?

[Chrisley]

It was a packet of ranch that you sold, but it was that gay shit again.

[Terrence Price]

So I saw my friend, I said, you know what?

[Chrisley]

I said, now you better tell this exactly right. Cause I'll out your ass. You better tell how dumb you was and what you put in that damn email.

[Terrence Price]

I said, let me tell you about this fat, funky, slouch, stank breath, bitch of a captain we got.

[Chrisley]

I said in writing in an email,

[Terrence Price]

that big fat bitch took my registry without reasoning. And I said, and I had all kind of red faces on there. Mad, mad, mad, mad faces. Because they let you do emojis on there. And so I was heated. I was hot. And I emailed another one of my friends and told her the exact same thing. I said, and his breath so stink, he ought to be able to use his insurance to go see about that nasty ass mouth he got. And I said, he needs to go see about his health and get. Get rid of some of that weight. Because I'd be on somebody table if I was that fucking slouching big.

[Chrisley]

And so it was so bad. And so then he comes saner in our room. And he said, I'm still so hot about my ranch dressing. And I'm thinking to myself, terrence, for God's sake, let the ranch dressing go. I've got. I've got a thousand packs down here. He said, it's the principle of it. My mama works and sends me that money to buy my stuff. And he stole from mama. And I Said, okay, well let's just move past the ranch dressing. And he said, that's all right because I called lean. I mean, I sent an email to Lena and I sent email to this one, you know. He said, I told my friend his big fat, funky, nasty, nasty step burn your damn eyebrows off with his breath. He ought to do some of his damn benefits and get that fat off his ass and do some of that gingivitis he's got. I mean on and on and on. And Melvin was sitting there and laughing, shaking his head. And I said, how did you tell your friend this? He said, oh, I sent him an email. I said, terrence, they're going to read that email. He said, well, they're gonna get their feelings shirts. That's what they get from paid my privacy. I said, you in prison, you have no privacy. The next day after the 4 o' clock count. And I told him, here they come down the hallway to sit on price. Captain wants to see you. I looked at him, I said, told your dumb ass. So I go down,

[Terrence Price]

I didn't give a damn, Grace.

[Chrisley]

I go down because I'm worried about it. And so I'm going to check on him. And you ain't supposed to be doing that, but I'm checking on my people. I go down and as I'm cutting the corner, here comes Terence at the captain's office like a little beat down child. And he was walking. I said, what happened? He said, funky bastards, ranch dressing, stealing mother. And he said, I said, well Timmy, what happened? He said, he said, if you had a problem, what do you say?

[Terrence Price]

If you had a problem me taking your ranch to dress and you still came to me. I said, why did you take it? That's beside the point. I could have your ass chipped. I said, well, do what you gotta do.

[Chrisley]

Cause Terrence didn't give a shit. Terrence said he had already made his mind up, he's gonna do them 30 months or whatever it was and it was going to be done. And he said to do what you got to do. And so I went, got on the phone and told about it to Savannah so it'd be on that recorded line. And told about him stealing from Terence. They didn't come in there and bother his shit again because they knew I done put him on blast. But I told him, I said, don't be on that phone. They listen to everything we say and email and email. And his email was so graphic. Fat, funky, sloppy bastard, dragon breath sends your eyebrows with that shit smelling mouth. He's got. And you remember when he failed? Oh, my God. Damn. You remember that he failed. And this is in the Animated series that I'm doing, folks. When he failed, we're walking to the phone.

[Terrence Price]

Mm.

[Chrisley]

And his big old fat, stinking ass, he hit that. He hit that parking lot. And his stomach was so big that when he hit it, he bounced. The stomach was like a ball. Like, he just bounced and his red hair went across the parking lot. I busted out laughing on the sidewalk. I was laughing so hard, I thought I was gonna piss myself. And I had to bend over because I was laughing so hard. Because it just. It. That was just such God saying, I got you, Todd.

[Terrence Price]

I got you.

[Chrisley]

And next damn day I get called up to SI

[Terrence Price]

for laughing at him.

[Chrisley]

And what I tell him. He said, you had an officer down.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah, you had an officer down. You could have helped him. I didn't have. I didn't have access to a crane operator get him up.

[Chrisley]

I said, I wasn't throwing my back out to lift that fat ass weight. I said, nowhere in my handbook does it say, I gotta help y'. All. I'm here to do time, not chores. And I ain't doing shit other than trying to get y' all fired.

[Interviewer]

I wouldn't piss on them if they

[Chrisley]

were on fire, not unless I could piss gasoline. And from that point forward, he had come through and hit. This is how he would walk.

[Terrence Price]

Chase.

[Chrisley]

I mean, Grayson, big old fat funky thing like this. Had his keys like this.

[Terrence Price]

Twirling them.

[Chrisley]

Twirl. What you got going on today? Quickly, I said, minding my business. You should try. Is that not how he did. That's exactly slinging them damn keys. And he said, came in our pod that time. Go shake it down, remember? And I'm sitting there and he said, is looking at. By tearing everybody's thing up. And I said, you better put it back the way you found it. He said, excuse me, Chris Lee, you're not supposed to be speaking to me like that. And I said, you're not supposed to be stealing from inmates or tearing up their personal property. Tomato, tomato, whatever. And so he comes walking over, he looks at my lockers because I had like four lockers. And then he gets, which one of these is yours, Chrisley? I said, that one on the bottom. And I reached under my bed and pulled out that yellow tablet. And he said, what are you doing, Chrissy? I said, I'm going to document everything that you do so that it's accurate when I write you up. By all means, search it I don't keep my phone in there. I don't keep my weed in there. I don't keep my vape pens in there. I don't keep none of that shit in that locker.

[Terrence Price]

Well, where do you store it, Mr. Chrisley?

[Chrisley]

He goes, Where, Mr. Chrisley, where do you store your phone?

[Interviewer]

Like I'm gonna tell you, right?

[Chrisley]

He said, well, Mr. Chrisley, where do you store your phone? You know, I got him. Then I said, your staff keeps it.

[Progressive Insurance Announcer]

Phone.

[Chrisley]

And everything I said was the truth. I never lied about nothing. But I think that they felt it was so brazen that it couldn't be true. And I said, your staff keeps it for me.

[Terrence Price]

Yep.

[Chrisley]

He goes, well, I don't see any. Anything in here that excites me. And I said, well, the ranch dressing's on the bottom. And Terrence said. And he went marching out there. Terrence was dying laughing. He said, what'd you say, B? He said, you got his ass? You got his ass.

[Terrence Price]

So his big belly is something. Oh, stinking thing.

[Chrisley]

But, you know, we survived.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, we did.

[Chrisley]

We survived. We. We were able to build relationships, solid relationships that will last us a lifetime. We were good and kind people to each other.

[Terrence Price]

Yes.

[Chrisley]

We shared what we had with each other, and that made us better. I feel. It made us.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, it did.

[Chrisley]

What would you say was the biggest lesson that you take away from this. This chapter of your life?

[Terrence Price]

Not to take freedom for granted. And to always treat every person with respect, no matter the background, no matter where they come from. Treat people how you want to be treated, and you move forward from there. I know I was devastated missing birthdays, family gatherings, holidays. But I had my friends that was with me in there to carry me through, you know, So I learned to appreciate what you have also and make do with it. So that's what I gather from this whole experience with being at the camp. And like I say, I couldn't have done it without you.

[Chrisley]

Well, this is probably true. What would be. What else do you have that you've got questions on?

[Interviewer]

I think that's all I've got. I mean, we touched on pretty much everything.

[Chrisley]

I used to get up every Saturday morning.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, indeed. To get ready for y'. All. And he would get up, and that would be highlights of the day. To see his kids or his mom or whoever was coming to visit. And he would take pride in getting dressed, and he had a whole bathroom smelling like cologne. And he'd have his face out with his shaving stuff on. I said, all right, everybody ain't neighbor Crystal.

[Chrisley]

He would walk in, and I'd be getting. I'd be dressed and ready to walk in. He'd go, everybody ain't able.

[Terrence Price]

But that was his highlight to see y' all come through, so. And it's important to have people that want to see you, you know, that want to come and support and talk to you. It gives us strength to keep going. And I know that's what gave your dad strength when he would see y'. All.

[Chrisley]

Well, you know, when I'd come in, I'd say, God, Grayson's getting so big.

[Terrence Price]

Yes. Yeah.

[Chrisley]

My baby's the biggest one of all of them.

[Terrence Price]

Sure did. Your graduation, all that.

[Chrisley]

That was a. When he was accepted to Alabama.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

Was a big time.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

And it was moved into my dorm. Moved into your dorm. Those were hard days for me, even though they were good, wonderful moments that I was glad that you were having. Those were hard times for me.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah, it was.

[Chrisley]

Those were the times that were hardest when I knew I was missing out on that, because I had never missed anything in your life. And to lose those moments, you know, was. Was. Was hard, not only for me, but for you as well. But I think that watching you grow and mature and not be afraid because you had been so sheltered your whole life and to see that you were going to be okay, that brought me a level of peace. And then, of course, you know, when you would give. Give me the tips for all their gambling and stuff that they did, you know, I appreciate you, Grace. Grayson was keeping it back there on that block.

[Terrence Price]

Yes, he was.

[Chrisley]

You sent him pigs.

[Interviewer]

We're gonna do it again this year.

[Chrisley]

Of course you sent them pics in. I'd say all the guys come and say, what's Grayson got? What's Grayson got? I need to get his pics. I need to get his pigs. I'd get the pigs, and I'd give them to Terrence, and Terrence would circulate him around, and then they'd all be powdered because I never went to the TV room. I knit because I was always working, taking down the bop. But they was all being that the Terrence wasn't. But Terrence is back there with all the rest of us. But that TV room was full all the time watching those games, the ones out on the patio, the ones in. In. You know, in our dorm.

I would have loved to hear that place that one night.

[Chrisley]

Oh, my God. You know, that's the night that he hit the big one.

[Terrence Price]

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[Chrisley]

And you made a lot of people money that sure did. They was running into my dorm. That. That kid did it. He did it. I doubted him on this one, but I went with him. Man, I ain't never doubting Gray again. And then, well, I think maybe a month later, you. You did one. You had one pick, and it didn't come through for you. And Pete, one of the guys was fussing, and Peewee said, oh, kid can't get him every damn time.

[Terrence Price]

Right?

[Chrisley]

And he looked over the wall, he said, you need to get them next week. So it was a. It was as good as it could have been for the situation that we were in. And, you know, prison is not supposed to be an easy thing.

[Terrence Price]

No.

[Chrisley]

But it's also not. It's not supposed to be the thing that breaks your spirit.

[Terrence Price]

That's right.

[Chrisley]

And that is what the system has done since the. Since the inception. And I'm grateful to see that a lot of that is changing.

And, you know, you went to Estell after you left Pensacola, and that facility you said was clean and was brand new. They were redoing everything down there. But you had a ratchet ass warden down there, Hutchins.

[Interviewer]

Yeah.

[Chrisley]

You look like a bulldagger, too.

[Terrence Price]

Sure did. Sure did.

[Chrisley]

All I'm telling you, if you're a female in the damn bop, if you ain't a bulldagger, you look like one. But, you know, she ain't there no more either.

Wow.

Yeah, I had her. Walked out, too. She had to do her Hutchinson, you know, you had to sit your time. You had to sit in time out, and then you said, bye. They let you retire, and then was you down there with some woman named Smith? She was a CEO.

Oh, yeah. Very disrespectful.

Well, that's all right. She ain't there no more either.

No, she ain't anymore. They got her ass, walked out.

Wow. She thought that was her companion.

Well, I let her know it wasn't. I never even went there and let her know it wasn't hers. But it has. So many staff members have been let go because of corruption or theft, abuse, etc. You've got staff members that sexually abused inmates? This one, right? He said, damn dang. Nobody here to sexually abuse me. I said, terrence, shut the hell up. Shut the hell up. He's like, there ain't nobody good looking here. But you did have that one that you was in love with. What was his name that took you out there to Unicorn. He drove the car.

Now you talking about Conan?

Oh, Lord, that was a Ms. Conan

was the sweetest guy.

He didn't mess with nobody. He just did his job.

And he was always good to us.

So, you know, he was another good one. I forgot about him, but he was a good one. But, you know, it's a Miss A Bear. She was good in medical. Yeah, she was from Louisiana. Yeah, she was a good one. So we had. We had probably 10. 10 or so. That was good.

Out of 100 and I think 30, you had 10 that might. That was pretty good.

And the 10 that was good could have ran the whole compound.

That's exactly right. And the irony of it is that 70% of the compound left every day to go work on the military base.

And yet you had every staff member, all the CEOs on that, on the compound every day, Monday through Friday. Right. When 70% of the inmates were not even there. But on the weekend, when you had 100% of the inmates there, you had 10 might show up to work, and it was just mismanagement at its finest. You could not make the shit up.
