And welcome everyone. It's a bittersweet opening this evening because the voice you just heard was that of Nick Pope, who wonderful man. We got him to do that little promo at the Pine Bush UFO Fair in 2025 in June. And we have some sad news. Mike.

Yeah, Nick was. I got a chance to meet him and chat with him at the Pine Bush Fair, as you did. What a gentleman. And Nick passed away on April 6th of this year at the age of 60 from stage 4 esophageal cancer. And I just wanted to kind of in case, I mean, there's probably nobody that's in the interested in the field that doesn't know who he is. But he was served in the Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom for 21 years. And he ran the Ministry of Defense's UFO desk, where he investigated hundreds of unidentified aerial phenomena reports to assess their potential defense significance. He was initially a skeptic, and he became a believer after investigating a wave of sightings in 1993. The media and others kind of nicknamed him the real Fox Mulder. But he really became, after leaving work with the Ministry of Defense, a mainstay in the media, appearing, talking about UFOs or unidentified aerial phenomena. He's been in numerous documentaries on different programs and shows. Just an author. And everything I've ever read about him is he was a humble gentleman at all times, that he never considered himself, you know, a celebrity. And I wanted to just take a few moments. Linda, I think it's important to really show the character of this man, Nick. And back in February he posted on X, which was Twitter, a message announcing that he was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer that had metastasized liver. And he knew that it was a terminal diagnosis. And he went on to write, and this is what strikes me. Here's a man who's you're learning that at the age of 60 you essentially got a death sentence. And instead of mourning what he was going to miss out on, he writes, what an amazing adventure. I've had a 21 year career at the UK Ministry of Defense where I got involved in subjects ranging from financial policy to to counterterrorism, from military policing to uap. And I saved six cows. It's a long story. The things I've done, the places I've been, the people I've met and the secrets I've been privy to, I wouldn't have swapped it for the world. And then a second career where my previous government UAP role brought me to the attention of the world's media, leading me to become a regular commentator on TV news shows and documentaries, as well as consulting and acting as spokesperson on various UFO and alien themed movies, TV series and video games. The media called me the real Fox Mulder. And then he goes on to state, the true highlight, of course, is life with my wonderful, beautiful and incredibly smart wife Elizabeth. So I thought that was a sweet touch. And he concludes a rather long and if you have access to Twitter, even if you don't have it, you could type it in and it'll just pop up and you can read the whole, you know, at the end. He writes, I'm loathe to use the word fans because I'm not a celebrity, I'm a public figure and many people have followed me on my journey as I've sought to keep the UAP subject in the public eye and to frame it as a defense, national security and safety of flight issue as well as a fascinating science problem. Some of this work has been public knowledge, but some, some such work of necessity has been done behind the scenes. I hope I've helped move the needle forward, but most people of course know me through my media interviews and live events. To everyone who's followed me on my journey, thank you and good luck with your own journeys. I wish you every success and happiness. It's all been amazing and I am grateful for the things I've done, not mournful for the things that I won't get to do. Like that makes me choke up just Reading that.

Yeah, it gives me goosebumps. Yeah. I was fortunate enough to meet him at a Arizona conference many years ago. And I remember talking to him and he was, you know, articulate, sweet, nice. You nailed it with gentlemen. And you may not agree with everything he believed and said, but you had to agree he was just a wonderful human being. And it's just really sad to lose somebody like that in general. And of course, you know, he was, he was a wonderful voice for the field. So, yeah, rest in peace, Nick Pope.

yeah, this is an unusual episode because all of it may have something to do with UFOs and none of it may have something to do with UFOs, but it's weird. So let me jump in. So the timeline. February 19, 2026, President Trump orders the release of government info on UFOs. You know, that long awaited disclosure, I'll believe it when I see it. But it probably got some people in government nervous. Eight days later, Feb. 27, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Quail Run Court specifically, you can Google map and see what the lay of the land is. It's about a mile from the Sandia Mountains, which is a pretty rugged range of mountains there. And it's at the home of retired Air Force Major General William Neil McCasland, 68 years old. He lives there with his wife Susan. And about 10am, a repairman came to the house, did what he had to do and leave. And at 11:10am his wife leaves for the doctors. She returns home at 12 4pm That's 56 minutes. Boy, would I love to have a doctor that you can get in and out and home in an hour. That's.

I actually think that's the most unusual part of the episode.

Clearly something's wrong here. We're in the twilight Zone. An appointment under an hour. But I've already digressed. So seriously, he. She gets home and her husband is gone. He didn't take his cell phone. His cell phone was off and on the counter. His smartwatch was off and on the counter. The cars were in the driveway, the other car and his prescription glasses were on the counter. Now I don't care what you plan on doing. If somebody's doing something to you or doing you're doing something to yourself. Who leaves their prescription glasses? Yeah, right. All right, so all the bicycles are there. He's very fit. He hikes, he bikes, he skis. Really fit guy. He had to have left on foot. Now the wife reports him missing at 3:07pm she calls 911 and she said it almost seems like he doesn't want to be found. That he planned not to be found because all his devices are off and on the counter. Maybe he didn't want to be found. Maybe somebody didn't want him to be found. Again, the prescription glasses. Unless he had another pair his wife didn't know about. What was missing supposedly is his wallet and a.38 caliber revolver. He had a lot of guns and they don't see this one. This is one he would carry a lot with him. Why is this important that this guy went missing? Well, let me give you a little background on McCaslin. He's a graduate of the Air Force Academy in a degree of astronautical engineering. He then went on to get a doctorate in astronautical engineering at mit. Someone said no matter what the gathering was, he was the smartest guy in the room. He now remember this name. He became head of the Air Force Research Lab. And where was that lab, you might ask? Are you asking me that?

How about a place called Wright Patterson Air Force Base? Okay, yeah,

Okay. He was also head of the Phillips research site at Kirkland Air Force Base. Worked on space vehicles, directed energy lasers. Okay, that sounds Star War ish. He worked on space superiority missile defense, high powered electromagnetics. And here comes the UFO part. Remember all those hacked emails of the government? Well, one of them that was part of those hacked emails was One from Tom DeLong, the Rock and roll star who started the to the Stars. It was to John Podesta. Let me read you some experts. The title of the email was General McCasland. And he said that while the general has described himself as a skeptic, he's absolutely not a skeptic. Okay, this is Delong to Podesta that they didn't think anybody would read this. He said McCaslin privately is very well informed. When Roswell crashed, they shipped to the laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the, the material. And General McCasland was in charge of that exact laboratory up to a couple of years ago. DeLonge also said in the email that he had been working with McCasland for months and that the general was aware of the materials he was investigating. Okay, that's pretty interesting. And he characterized McCasland as, you know, a proactive for UFO disclosure. So very interesting. The wife is saying, oh no, he had nothing to do with UFOs. Well, would she know? I don't know. But here, within eight days of Trump wanting this information out, did someone not want him to testify or did he have some anxiety on his own that, oh crap, I can't testify? You know, what did this man know? Even if it was only, you know, space vehicles, advanced weaponry, what the hell do they work on in the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson?

So in these, what are we going on almost two months now? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The sheriff's department and law enforcement has gone door to door to over 700 homes asking if anybody's seen anything. Do you have ring camera? How does anybody go anywhere, especially in a high end neighborhood without anything? No vehicles, no sightings of him, just gone. So I don't know, maybe he didn't. You know, he might have had things going on, he didn't want to face life anymore. But what a way to do it. Just. And you have a 56 minute window before your wife comes home, right?

Yeah, that. I don't know how you pull that off unless you've been planning it and you know, a secret and been thinking about this and lining things up in advance. But again, how do you go anywhere without being on camera? I mean, if you walk down the street and just look at houses on either side, you'll always see a ring camera or other cameras mounted. So I don't. There's literally nowhere you can go today without being on somebody's camera.

And these are nice houses. If you go to Google Maps and do a street view, you know, larger high end houses, they have security.

So the sheriff says there's no evidence of foul play, but there's no evidence of anything. So that's number one. We have eight others. Well, we won't cover all of them in depth, but Congressman Tim Burchett from Tennessee, he's on the House Oversight Committee for the investigation of UFOs and he recently said NASA is lying and withholding UFO reports. What a surprise. And he said the disappearance and death of scientists related to the UFOs is quote, a troubling and dark pattern. We'll hear more from Tim Burchett at the end. But he does not see this as a random group of things. He said something dark is going on. I know these scientists and researchers. They have testified. We've got to get to the bottom of this. It's just too much. Too much is going on right now. There have been several others throughout the country that have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I think we ought to be paying attention to it. The numbers seem very high in certain areas of. I think we'd better be paying attention. I don't think we should trust our government. This is coming from a congressman on the UFO panel. Wait till you'll be mind blown at the end with other things he said. But he's saying whistleblowers are afraid to come forward because they're afraid they're going to disappear or be murdered. That's prophetic. Yes. Number two, Monica Reza. Reza. Monica Jacinto Reza. Not a lot of publicity on this. When it happened eight months earlier, the morning of June 22, 2025, she and some friends are hiking in the Angeles National Forest north of Los Angeles. They went up the Mount Waterman Trail. They left from the 6,000 foot day use parking lot, if anybody knows that area. So they go up the mountain. They went very early because it was probably going to get hot. You don't want to be hiking when it's hot. Experienced hikers, she's in great shape. They ascended the peak, they were coming back down and I saw some comments of search and rescue people. Very well marked trail. You're going down. You're a mile from the parking lot. From some places on the trail you can see the parking lot, right? And you just, if you want to get back to the parking lot, you go down, you go down from where you are. So one of the people, the one person who was with her at the time, from these friends, they only refer to him as subject A. They won't release his name for some reason.

She said at one point she was about 30ft behind him. He turned just to make sure she was okay, waves, she waved, she smiled. And a short distance, very short distance later, he turns around, he doesn't see her, calls her name, runs back well marked trail just a mile from the parking lot. A lot of people use this. Nothing. He runs down the trail. He gets A bunch of other people, they're searching, they're calling, absolutely gone. Okay, well who was Monica? Well, she worked on a project that was headed by General McCasland. Okay. She was a material research scientist at Aerojet Rocketdyne which was funded by NASA and the Air Force Research Lab. I'll be saying that I think a couple more times. And she helped develop co founder of a super alloy called Mondaloy, which is a nickel based material that is ideal for oxygen rich combustion environments like rocket engines. So then she became director of materials processing at NASA jpl. All right, Smart, smart person again, working on who knows what as well with JPL and at this other place she was all of 4 foot 11, 101 pounds, wearing a long sleeve red shirt, green pants. Researchers, searchers. Excuse me, when people said we want, you know, we're here, we want to help look for her, where have you searched? The official word was we can't tell you where we're searching.

Wouldn't you want to share that info? Yeah, the only thing they found the next day, they said it was her beanie. I assume it was a knit hat. She had it tucked in the back of her backpack and the next day it was found in a ravine. They bring search and rescue dogs to the spot, let them smell, you know, smell the beanie. They picked up no scent trail. So they said she could not have been the one who, you know, walked or fell down there and dropped the beanie. They would have picked up a scent trail. They even tried to explain it. Well, maybe a bird picked up the hat and dropped it there. But it wasn't her. It wasn't her. So you know, her beanie, it could have been pulled out. You know, she could have gone by a branch and it got snagged and. But whatever. But other than that, a woman in a red shirt and green pants on a very well traveled trail who worked on a project headed by General McCasland on who knows what secret technology. Completely gone. This one is, this one is to me the big big red flag 1. Because McCaslin, you can say he voluntarily left. She did not voluntarily do anything. And how all this time later, you know, a lot of people have looked, they had, I think they had helicopters, they had dogs, they had people on horseback. Nothing. Not her backpack, shred of clothes, you know, other than the beanie, which probably fell out.

The whole, we can't tell you where we're searching or have searched. You know, normally you want people searching. First of all, yes. And you know, the beanie being thrown, it probably was intentionally placed there as a distraction to encourage a search party to look, if that was the case, to look in that general area, like, oh, look, here's the beanies over here. She must have been this way when could be anywhere.

Yeah, yeah. So that is highly suspicious. All right, number three. February 16, 2026. The 67 year old Carl Grillmare. He's on his front porch in his desert home in Llano, California. He had a desert home because he was an astronomer and we astronomers love dark skies. One of the reasons we bought our place. And then all the development came in and we've lost our dark skies. But at 6:10am he shot and killed on his front porch. He was a Canadian astronomer and astrophysicist at Caltech studying exoplanets. He worked for NASA's JPL and apparently had links to the Air Force Research Lab again. Okay, they arrested a carjacker. Somebody that morning had carjacked a car, a Freddy Snyder. They've charged him with murder, burglary, carjacking. They said he had trespassed on the property before. He had just been released two months earlier from a weapons charge which was dropped. And they couldn't get a real explanation why it was dropped. Something about unnecessary prosecution. Well, I guess it wasn't so unnecessary. Is there a UFO connection? Is it unrelated? Did Freddie Snyder really did it? He really did. I don't know, but it's another jpl. Possible link to the Air Force Research Lab. Murdered. Okay, what are we up to? Number four. 47 year old Nuno Loreo, December 15, 2025. He was a Portuguese plasma physicist at MIT working on fusion energy. He was the director of plasma Science and fusion with ties to the Department of Energy and possibly the Department of Defense. I'm sure they'd be very interested in plasma weapons or fusion. Absolutely, yes. So apparently what happened? He and his wife were making dinner in their apartment in Brookline, Massachusetts. The kids were playing cards. Somebody rings the doorbell. The daughter goes and looks at the security thing and she says there's a man in the lobby with a package. So he says, well, I'll go get it. They hear six shots ring out and 48 year old Claudio Valente, who was a physics student, shot him in the chest, abdomen and both legs. And he died the next morning. Valente took his own life the next day in a New Hampshire storage facility. And they came to find out that two days earlier he had killed two Brown University students in the Engineering department and wounded nine so again, did this man have ties? Was this completely unrelated? Maybe, but the. It's piling up, isn't it?

this one. Somebody just that. Now everybody's trying to pull out deaths and disappearances. A Michael David Hicks, 59 years old, worked for NASA JPL. Died in July of 2023. No cause of death was listed and there was no autopsy that anyone could find out. Tenuous, weak link here. But it's something to mention. And you have to keep in the back of your mind what Congressman Burchett said. It is a dark and troubling pattern with these scientists going missing. October 25, 2025, three people died at Wright Patterson Air Force Bas. 34 year old Jacob Pritchard worked for the Air Force Research lab. What the hell is going on? This sounds like it has nothing to do with any UFOs but he strangles his 33 year old wife, puts her in the trunk of the car, drives to the home of first Lieutenant Jamie Gustitis who all, all three of them worked at Wright Patterson, broke into her home, shot her to death at 2am At 4:30am he pulls into the parking lot of the West Milton Municipal Building, opens the trunk so that the security camera can see his wife's body and then shoots himself in front of the camera.

That has to be one of the most bizarre criminal true crime stories I've ever heard.

We might have to do this on our murder show. There were rumors that Jacob was having an affair with the Lieutenant. There was also rumors that the wife was having an affair with the lieutenant. I don't know. But another Air Force research lab mystery and death. No one has quite come forth with the motives.

I will say Linda, that my, my cop spidey senses initially as you were explaining this thought, love triangle of some type. And. But again there's other connections too that are kind of hard to ignore. So who knows?

Yeah. Yeah. I mean what are the chances? Air Force Research lab. You know, people die everywhere every day. But I don't know how many people work in the Air Force Research Lab, but they don't have a very good track record. I wouldn't want to insure anybody who works there. All right, we're going. I've lost count. 53 year old Melissa Cassias. She is working at Los Alamos National Lab as is her husband. She is going to be taking a vacation in the end of June 2025 and the week after that she's going to have a knee replacement. So by the time you get to knee replacement, your Leg's pretty bad. You. You need work. Okay. She and her husband drive to work every morning from their home in Rancho de Taos. And she drops her husband off at his building and he says, I need the car at 11 if you can come back. She's fine. She never shows up. The daughter, she's apparently extremely close to her daughter. Sierra is working. Instead of staying at work, she goes home. She buys a sandwich from Subway and brings it to Sierra around noon. And they talk. And there's nothing abnormal. But the husband calls the daughter. Have you heard from Melissa? She was supposed to come pick me up. And Melissa's boss is calling. Where is Melissa? They go home. The car is in the driveway. She left her phone, her wallet, her keys, her phone. Apparently she had two phones, a work phone and a home phone. They had gone through a reset, so they were wiped clean again. Did she want to wipe them clean? Did somebody want to wipe them clean? And supposedly she was seen by a family acquaintance walking down Highway 518 in the middle of the afternoon wearing a backpack. She was a real outdoorsman, big game hunter, knew how to take care of herself. But the only things they could find, they think were missing were her toothbrush and curling iron. Now if she's going to go out into the wild, what the hell do you need a curling iron for?

Yeah. And if you're planning on running away, shouldn't you have your knee replacement first? Make sure you can run if you're trying to run away. So had she planned this? Sounds like it. Something big time fishy is going on. Both working at Los Alamos. Two more quick ones. NASA scientist, 61 year old Frank Mywald. Died July 4, 2024 in LA. Cause of death, no one could find out and no apparent autopsy. He had been working at JPL since 1999. Back to Los Alamos National Lab. Here's another bizarre disappearance. 78 year old Anthony Chavez. He retired several years ago but was still living in the area. In the Denver Steeles neighborhood on 37th Street. May 4, 2025. Seven weeks before Melissa went missing from Los Alamos. People went to check on him. His car was locked, sitting in the driveway. No forced entry, no blood. Cadaver dogs had no hits. His banking activity stopped around that time. His wallet, his keys and his cigarettes were on a table in the living room. Despite being a 78 year old smoker, he hiked, he biked, he was in good shape physically and mentally. Absolutely no clue I mean, what the hell?

I don't know if I got all nine of them, but the count now is currently nine. And like I said, at first I'm like, well, that has nothing to do with it. But then you get to the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh. Is somebody making these things happening? Are they pressuring people? I don't know. You know, I mean, it's, you could, you could say they're all just coincidences, but, you know, there is a bit of a pattern that emerging here. And people don't typically just go off and disappear. They don't, they don't usually leave their life behind like that, you know, wiping their cell phones, leaving their identification, their

Their prescription glasses. People typically just don't do that. Absent of, say, a medical condition. You know, maybe they've got dementia. They're having, you know, they have a traumatic brain injury. But for normal everyday people, that's unusual. That doesn't happen.

And for that woman to leave her daughter, you know, who knows what's happening between her and her wife, her husband, there was no mention of that. But by all accounts, she was extremely close with her daughter and she had a knee replacement for the next week scheduled. And the daughter and the husband were, you know, planning on how they were going to take care of her. And at that moment, she. So I really don't know. And again, the two that stand out for me are Monica Reza, who disappeared on the hike. You know, the man's looking at her and this is eerily reminiscent. If people out there listen to David Politis's missing 41 1, he always says, don't be the last one in line On a hike. It's uncanny how many go missing. It's also uncanny how many brilliant scientists. Poof. Are. Are never seen. So here's where it gets really weird. Okay? Former congressman Matt Gaetz, you know, questionable individual. He. He came out with a statement that there are biologics that are not human. He doesn't stop there. He goes on to say that someone in an army program told him that there's a program where captured aliens are breeding with captured humans. That humans are being kidnapped from war zones and migrant caravans and maybe hiking in the Angeles mountains. Sounds completely crazy. Some people would probably know it's true, but, you know, sounds crazy. So someone asked Tim Burchett about this comment. You would think he'd say, you know, please, no. You know that he says, I can't comment on that as I'm still in Congress. Hmm. And then here we go. He went on to say, burchett, if they would release the things I've seen, you would be up at night worrying about or thinking about this stuff. We need to disclose it all. I'm sick of it. He said he was 100% serious and went on to say. I'll just say this. I was briefed last week on an issue, and this country would have come unglued if they would have heard all that I heard. That is. That's a powerful statement. It carries a lot of. A lot of weight and a lot of. I almost want to say, menacing overtones.

Yes. Yes. And so this is a man who's sitting on that ufo, that congressional UFO committee, getting briefed on God knows what. You'd be up all night worrying about it if you heard what I heard. And the country would have come. He doesn't say people would have been upset. The country would have come unglued. What the hell is going on? I don't know. And he again said, you know, people are afraid to come forward and say what they want to say because they're afraid of going missing or being murdered. And here's several people who. No clue about them going missing and bunch of people going. Getting murdered. I don't see the connection other than their professions and possible connection to defense.

And possible UFO connections. So where are these people? What. What's happened to them? Where have they gone? Why can't. You know, I fully expected, with McCasland two weeks in, they'd find his remains and he maybe did away with himself, but nothing. And the problem was also they had infrared. They had helicopters with the forward looking infrared. So freaking hot in Albuquerque at that time. You know, the way a person looks white against the landscape, the whole landscape looked white.

So they couldn't use that. But you know, dogs, trailing dogs, scent dogs, cadaver dogs, I don't know. So again, to me, Monica, Reza, and this, this the one guy in Los Alamos who just, poof, gone. And those prescription glasses. I'd love to. I hope someone will follow up with all the local places in the area and mail order, did he have another pair of prescription glasses? Because as a glasses wearer since age, you know, nine, you don't leave the house if you can't see.

Yeah. So there we have it. A dark and troubling pattern. Perhaps. But if it's coming from a congressman who knows, I'll take his word for it that this is a dark and troubling pattern.

Yeah, I think it's dark and troubling for sure. And of course, as everything else in this field, it leaves more questions than answers.

Yeah. But this is prompting a lot of investigative journalists to dig deeper, looking into, you know, the personnel at Air Force Research Lab, Los Alamos, jpl, NASA in general. And there is a very long history, as I said, of brilliant scientists who go for a hike and are never seen again.

And, you know, not just from a UFO perspective, but also it's a national security issue. If you have, I mean, what if you have a foreign actor or agent that's, that's behind this? I mean, you know, yeah, we, we can take the inference of the UAP aspect from the, the congressman, but national security, I mean, it seems to me like there would be a lot more investigation, you know, resources, time and effort being put into this.

Yeah, you don't. These are not the type of people you want to fall into the hands of the Chinese, the Russians, the North Koreans, who knows what else. I don't care how many years you're retired, you still have a hell of a lot of information in your head on these project. Particularly McCasland. You know, he was the head of the Air Force Research Lab, had his fingers in all kinds of projects. So there we have it. Hopefully next time we meet. I don't have numbers 10, 11 and 12 to add.
