混 (hùn) — pronounced “hwoon” (similar to moon, but with an h).
混 can look like drifting, going through the motions, or loosening effort when clarity hasn’t arrived yet.

It’s often misunderstood as “not caring,” but 混 can be a protective, transitional state—a way of resisting false certainty, conserving energy, or simply being honest about not knowing.

In this conversation, Sharon shares her journey as an international student with mixed Taiwanese and Indonesian heritage, navigating uncertainty through philosophy, marketing, identity, and life between cultures.
