We cherish the grace that we receive from Jesus, but often it is difficult to live that grace out in and through our lives in the "real world." In this episode, we are joined by pastor Jason Teal to discuss the amazing grace we receive and are also called to extend to others.

In this episode, we explore why honoring our commitments is a powerful expression of faith. We should be challenged to see every commitment—big or small—as an opportunity to reflect God’s character in our own lives. We will unpack how keeping your word builds trust, shapes spiritual maturity, and strengthens personal witness. We will also look at some of the challenges young adults face today that make consistency difficult, offering some practical steps to face conflict with grace and integrity. Join us as we look at how our commitments are not just obligations but acts of worship that honor God.

As Christians we are the recipients of a great and generous gift purchased at the greatest cost. Jesus paid for our eternal life in the currency of sacrifice and with the price of His blood. Our own generosity is a part of our response to this gift. In fact it is a form of worship. Generosity doesn't come from the capability to give from a large bank account but from a heart that is rooted in the Gospel. Join in with us as we talk about the joy of living a life of generosity.

Grief can be a challenge for all believers. Most agree that God works within these storms, but it is tough to trust in that when the clouds actually surround us. In this episode we discuss how God works during seasons of sorrow and how we can raise our eyes above our situations and keep them on our Savior.

The Young Adult season is full of ministries and communities that help us grow and mature in Christ. Along with that comes the need to be connected into the local church as a whole. So what should we be looking for in churches and ministries that are based on Biblical standards? Join in as we discuss both the importance of the church and things to consider in the process of finding a place to belong and serve.

We have Erynn Byrom joining us on this episode of the Uncommon Podcast. She is sharing her powerful and personal testimony as one who journeyed from the struggle of embracing an alternative lifestyle putting self first to finding a new identity and joy through surrendering her life to Jesus. With honesty and grace, she walks us through the questions, struggles, and transformation she experienced along the way. This episode explores the tension between culture and faith, identity and truth—and ultimately, the freedom found in a life fully submitted to Christ.

We begin season two with a follow-up of the last episode of season one: "Should I Date?" In this episode Jill Smith joins the Uncommon Podcast to discuss the journey she and Allen took in pursuing each other in dating, engagement, and marriage all while making the pursuit of God's glory the priority of their journey together.

The pressure to enter the world of dating can come from all over—your friends, society, even your family. It comes down to knowing when is the right time to date. In this episode, we will discuss the topic of when to wait and when to pursue this thing called dating.

Some conversations are easy and some are tough-even awkward. Sometimes it is the tough exchanges that are not only needed but beneficial. In this episode, we discuss how to approach and navigate the conversations with friends that can be tough to have.

Accountability sends a lot of feelings when it is brought up within the church. Everything from tough talks to moral policing begins to control our view of what it means to be held accountable. Scripture actually provides a very encouraging view of what it really means to invite accountability into our lives as believers. Join in as we discuss the benefits and joys of Biblical accountability.
