The freedoms we share as believers are rooted in the virtues of God.

By Pastor Tim's invitation, one of our own brought the word today to encourage our prayer life. The Scriptures give us many witnesses that God expects us to cry out to Him for ourselves and others. Jesus taught us to be persistent in prayer and to not lose heart. Let's not hide our love. Let's remember where we were and how He saved us and love with His passion.

Pastor Tim gleans lessons from the purposeful and powerful life of Peter after he has received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. He encourages us to apply these lessons so that we will live our lives on purpose, full of the power of God.

The importance of the ascension of Jesus is magnified, when we realize this enabled the Father to release the Holy Spirit to fill every willing, blood-washed member of Christ's body. When we look at Peter's life before and after the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we can see that this is the difference-maker.

Pastor Tim looks at the life of Peter and compares it to ours. Like a roller coaster, rising high, doing well and then we fail and make sudden drops. How can we get off this roller coaster?

The Ascension of Jesus releases the fulfillment of the Promise of the Father. The Holy Spirit is poured out in power upon the 120 who obeyed His command to remain in Jerusalem. The Church receives the Holy Spirit of God to carry us forward into God's purposes until Jesus fulfills His pledge to return for His church. Until then we are to live in relationship with Him and in obedience to Him. The Holy Spirit is available to you too. You need only to ask.

With humor, love and compelling testimonies, Pastor Kukku Mathew of Reach India Missions challenged us all to make our lives about one thing, preaching Jesus Christ.

Prophet Jonathan Edwards preached a powerful message on the absolute necessity of being God's people being consumed by the fire of God, Holy Spirit. He brought a clear word for our house and yours.

Union Street Meeting House was pleased to host Pastor and Mrs. Kogan, missionaries to Ukraine. There are very few people in the West able to preach such a message; but this couple has endured much as they have served people and preached the Gospel under the most difficult circumstances in war-torn Ukraine. Please note the messages of both Mr. and Mrs. Kogan are interpreted by Michelle H. of Indiana.

The Great Commission of Jesus Christ says: Go and make disciples of all nations. We as the people of God are "sent" people. The Church is remiss if we are not preparing and sending people as the Holy Spirit leads.
