Oh, the sea... such an immense part of our dear blue planet... yet so full of dangers. With this original composition I tried to express the fear and uncertainty of getting lost in the middle of the wide open oceans, with the extra trouble of being hungry and tired and not knowing when you'll be able to finally reach any firm lands. Really the sea is a massive graveyard, isn't it? Anyways, this is purely programmed/sequenced MIDI but still everything manually written. No AI or anything remotely close. If it sounds like an old videogame then that's a huge compliment, since old videogames had such good music!

An original synth metal tune, highly inspired by old Doom or Duke Nukem soundtracks. 100% sequenced MIDI but all manually written (no AI bullshit). Basically an exercise to try some original music stuff for a quick compo. The title used in this upload isn't definitive (well, neither is the music, actually, since this is more of a rough demo), but it's a reference to the full name for the pioneer melodeath band At The Gates, whose name was also a reference a song by the gothic band Fields of the Nephlim, combined with the title of the popular Doom's tune, "At the Doom's Gate". The cover artwork is just a silly edit with a photo of an abandoned house found in my walks and my dear cat, Kira. No AI slop but... human slop.

A simple and quick experiment to make some raw extreme synth metal oriented track for a 1h compo. All instruments are sequenced and MIDI but manually written. Mixing is nearly unexistent, and the whole process was done in barely half an hour because some technical issues that kept me busy for half the compo time. But still something interesting to show here, I guess.

An original synth metal tune, mostly power metal and happy vibes, like you are flying in freedom with no one bothering you in your trip. Originally done for one of these quick events to make songs in 2 hours. The unexpectedly dark outro somewhat represents how freedom usually involves loneliness as a price. We can't have it all, I guess. The track artwork is a pic taken in one of these rural areas I like to walk around. I'm aware of the bad reputation eagles have in some cultures, but nah, that's just about the actual eagles' freedom, nothing political at all.

An original track originally I did for a community album with many other artists. The theme was about a soundtrack for a videogame based in a mall, commercial center, shop or whatever. I'm too punk and anti-capitalist to actually like this kind of themes, so my ideas were in other directions: from works in strike demanding better conditions, to a bunch of environmental activists protesting for the damage caused by obsessive shopping and all that. Hence the double meaning with the title, "Fight against your boss" actually refering to the boss as an employer as well as the common use of the word for "just a stronger enemy in a videogame". I don't usually upload new music in Soundcloud lately, mostly because I'm too close to reach my limit of total length allowed for a free account. I had to delete some old (and worse) tracks to gain a few more minutes. Since nowadays Soundcloud is pretty much a ghost town anyways, and this place was often used to share rough demos and samplers, just though of occassionally upload some of my new music as it gets done too. Maybe to delete some day and reupload when finished. Or whatever, I dunno.

Watch the video for the ruined version: https://youtu.be/03P54n8aXKc (en español abajo) Surprise!! We go with a totally different thing again. December 28th is very much the spanish equivalent to April Fools, known as "día de los inocentes" in Spain and most of LATAM. Yes, a day to have fun and laughs instead of buying and wasting money, yay! Last year I got use of this day to ruin some old classic spanish song. This year we go with another classic but not that old. It's just around... 35 years old? And the band members are still alive! This is "Héroes del Silencio" a very internationally known spanish rock band, and a song that is so famous, even Till Lindemann (Rammstein's singer) made his own version. Mine is some kind of epic space synth metal or whatever. Yes, it sounds like MIDI because it's a MIDI arrangement. Vocals, however, are kinda... different. For the video I used a bunch of graphics ripped from multiple games, mostly shoot 'em ups like Darius and Gradius but also some totally irrelevant games like Tales of Phantasia and Illusion of Gaia. Nothing in either the music or the video is meant to make sense nor there is any moral lesson or meaning behind. It's just pure nonsense with no more purpose than having fun and hopefully bringing some well deserved laughs. I worked so hard with my recent album and serious music this year... just wanted to try something silly again. I lope you like :) CREDITS: * Unknown Pseudoartist: arrangement, programming, some keys here and there, silly vocal recordings, mix, production of both music and video, plans to rule the world, etc * Héroes del Silencio: original composition SPANISH (english above) ¡¡Sorpresa!!

No Rest for the Nest [Karaoke / TV Size version] by Unknown Pseudoartist

«If you fall 100 times, then rise 101 times.» I heard that sentence many times but honestly I don't know who's the author, and a simple web search brings too many varied results with no clear conclusion. This is also that kind of project that starts as a really small, meaningless thing that somewhat grows deep on us. I just started it as an impulsive moment of inspiration for a simple and straight "Iron Maiden style doubled lead guitars" melody. It was not until more than half a year later that I tried extending these few measures of music into an attempt of a fully-structure song. I soon noticed that had a somewhat happy and energetic vibe and "what if we go down with the mood for a moment". That's where the idea for the "bardcore?" interlude came, to later gradually go back to power metal. I then felt like this song represents very well my feelings and mood of the moment. Just like life itself, this song has its moments of falling and then rising again at full strength.

A very low-tuned industrial, electronic synth metal piece. Inspired by the depths of the sea, so production and sound may be a bit weird. Full of crunchy, muffled riffs and electronic drums combined with slightly organic elements and ambiance sounds. Nothing too complex at all. The title is a joke with the famous Deep Purple hit "Smoke on the water" but shares absolutely no similarity with the mentioned track beyond that.
