This Sunday we discuss endurance and how important it is to endure in our faith. Endurance is remaining under pressure, and it’s formed deeply in difficult situations and seasons. We need the Lord's strength to remain. This week Pastor Phil leads us in a message where we call on the Lord's strength to endure. Lord, give us strength to endure the hardships and know you more closely. We trust that it’s all worth it. Amen.“I would rather get to embrace Jesus with scars and bruises and hear well done good and faithful servant than give up.” - Pastor Phil

This Mother's Day Sunday we're walking through what it looks like to operate in our God-given callings as men and women of God. Pastor Phil walks us through what the Bible says about living in our God-given callings, and what it looks like to have a healthy view of the opposite gender. He reminds us that when we love God, we love His design and creation, even if it is different from our preferences. We apologize for the sound issues this week. This will be fixed for next week's livestream. Thank you for understanding!
This week we discussed how difficult it can be when we are hurt by someone in the Church, but also how important it is to respond in the way God calls us to respond. Vertical Church Elder Chad Vance led us to reflect on ways we have been judgmental or sinful ourselves, and led us to have a moment with the Lord to invite Him into those areas. If it's time for you to start operating out of a place of healing instead of a wound, this message is for you. Lord, help us to love You and love our neighbor.

This week we continued in the "Spiritual Maturity" series, talking about how scripture teaches that our spiritual gifts are from God and for God. Pastor Phil walks us through ways to wisely and humbly use the gifts God has given us to bring God glory and encourage those around us. We are called to use what we have been entrusted with well, so let's look at how we can do that.
This week, we reflect on what we've been running to as our "source" in day-to-day life. Jesus is the only well that never runs dry. He will never let us down. Our God will never leave us. So are we running to Him and running to Him regularly? Pastor Phil walks us through what it means to have Jesus as our 'source' and how this transforms everything in such a good way.

Happy Easter! This Resurrection Day, we're talking about living differently. When Jesus was crucified, the veil in the temple, which was four inches thick, was torn from top to bottom. The veil in the temple originally separated people from the direct presence of God because of His immense holiness. They would enter the temple to pray but wouldn't go past the veil. BUT that veil became torn, meaning we have direct access to the Lord! This means that we should live differently because Christ died for our sins. So let's live differently, remembering what Jesus did. Let's stop living behind a veil. Let's live differently with Jesus!
This week Pastor Phil led us in a message about giving area single area of our life over to the Lord. We had a moment to reflect on whether anything has been lingering in our life that has no right to be there. This week, we can pray-- Lord, clean out the old from our lives. Purify every part of our lives and help us fill the space with the things of You.
Good news… The Lord has a plan and a purpose for all of us! Let’s be willing to step out in faith to operate in our role, our gifting, and our calling from God.
This week we talk about healthy "vantage points," also knows as healthy perspectives. We serve a God who not only has ways much higher than ours, but he also sees us and understands us. May His ways shape the way we view the world around us-- in our conversations, in grief, and in making difficult decisions. Lord, help us to see things the way You see them. Give us new hope, new faith, and new viewpoint. Help us see things from a healthy and faithful point of view💚
