
In a culture constantly trying to redefine truth, identity, and worship, how do followers of Jesus remain faithful without compromising? In Week 1 of our Daniel series, we explore what it means to live as exiles in a modern-day Babylon. Through Daniel 1, we see a young man surrounded by pressure, temptation, and a system designed to reshape his identity — yet he chooses conviction without compromise. Babylon wanted Daniel’s mind, loyalty, and worship, but Daniel shows us what faithful presence looks like in a hostile culture. This message challenges us to ask: • What is shaping our identity? • Where are we tempted to compromise? • How do we serve culture without bowing to it? As followers of Jesus, we are called to live differently — not isolated from the world, and not assimilated into it, but faithfully present within it.
